A/N: Next chapter's here everyone. Not much to say other than if you enjoy Splatoon and/or quizzes, then this chapter is for you! Enjoy!
Reviews:
Raysen101: You can thank Todd for that one. Would have been interesting to see if the outcome would have remained the same if he would have played the game straight up instead of smacking her on the head with the core.
Disney Fan: Not much else to say other than thanks. Really appreciate it!
The Swooce: Bro, I kid you not, if it wasn't for this episode with Dr. Suno, I don't think I would have even thought about him having a degree that much LOL. Or even Ben having one for that matter, even if his was an honorary one.

"Last time on Total Drama Across the Multiverse! The three teams came in flying into a Monsuno challenge! Literally! I brought them in on a moving train. Why? To get their adrenaline pumping! If a team was gonna get good food, then something had to give."
Footage of the contestants suddenly falling on a moving train, trying any way they could to hang on was shown.
"People had their complaints, per usual, but hey, they're acting like more than half of them haven't been through way worse. Anyways, members new and old got to meet Team Core-Tech, for the first or second time respectively, where three of its members, Dax, Jinja, and Beyal got to compete in the previous Multiverse season we had. Along with those three and Chase, they also got to meet his dad, the man that made Monsuno and the redeemed Jon Ace. Or does he even really count as a redemption? Who knows?"
Footage of the six introducing themselves to the cast was seen.
"After a bit of explanation of how Monsuno came to be, an explanation of how to play, and a practice session plus a musical, the challenge could begin."
Footage of the teams being given a demonstration of how to spin out and call out commands to Monsuno by Dr. Suno was shown. The teams practicing to use them was also shown.
"How did it work? A three-way tournament, or a 1v1v1 if you will. The first team to score 2 round wins would be declared the winner. And that would be awarded to the Rats, which I believe is three in a row at the moment. As for the other two teams, Todd was able to push the Kings into second by knocking out Karin in the sudden death round. And then quit after that. No seriously, he knocked her out on the head and called it quits."
Footage of the rounds, including Todd knocking out Karin in the final round was shown along with him conceding first to the Rats and Lucy was shown.
"Karin, in one of the most anti-climatic ways possible, at least to me, was eliminated. And her dreams of winning were put to a halt by a kid launching a core at her head. You're darn right that's disgraceful."
Footage of her closing remarks was shown before they were interrupted by Chef throwing her in the portal.
"But hey, it's not the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to someone on the sho believe it or not. Least she left with all the hair on her head. If you know, you know. But I'm sure you know what's up next! Yep! Another episode of Total….. Drama….. Across the Multiverse!"

"It started when the nanites went "Ka-Pow!" upon the scene. Transforming all the life on earth like nothing that you've seen. But there's one lucky Hombre who can make them build machines, He's Gen Rex!" Rex sung out before being hit in the back of the head and then subsequently hit in the front of his head.
The back by a ball, and the front by a scythe.
"Booooooo!" Miyuki jeered, throwing a baseball at him from a distance.
"Real funny. Wouldn't have done that if I had gotten a concussion now would you?" Rex said. "Anyways, what did you think?"
"I think-" Ruby R. started before being interrupted by Ben. She was the source of the front attack as the two were sparring.
"That you definitely stole that." Ben said, chips in hand.
"Stolen? From who?" Rex asked.
"Can't put my finger on it, but I could have sworn I heard that from somewhere."
"Yeah whatever. Anyways, since you're here, what are your thoughts on it? Good, right?"
"I literally just said it sounds like it was stolen. What do you think?"
"I'd say it's pretty catchy. But also, I thought Eijun and Furuya were supposed to be the pitchers? That was a pretty good throw." Ruby R. said.
"They are. And I'm still their catcher. That never changed." Miyuki remarked, picking up his baseball and throwing away the pack of crackers that he had.
"Where the heck did he even come from anyway?" Rex said.
"No clue." Ruby said.
***Confessional***
Miyuki(Wave Breakers):
"Most people expected me to be a pitcher. Even my own teammates. But I wanted to be a catcher. Directing others on the field, being such an influential presence on the team in the game. No offense to others but, why would I want to be anything else? This is just too fun."
***End Confessional***
(A/N: Note that these next three scenes happen at nearly, or exactly the same time)
Focusing on the other two Seido members, Eijun was angrily throwing pitches at Molly, who was catching them for him.
"Sweet baby corn! Wow these are some hot pitches! Literally!" She exclaimed. There weas steam coming from the glove that she was wearing. She didn't want to say it to discourage him, but she was genuinely starting to get concerned because she wasn't sure if she could handle any more of his pitches. And that concern started to show after the second pitch.
"That Miyuki! WHEN I FIND YOU I'M GONNA SNAP THOSE GLASSES! YOU HEAR ME! MIYUKIIIIIIIIII!" Eijun yelled out.
"Do you have to yell? It's not like he's not on the island!" Scratch remarked.
"Shut up you stupid ghost!"
"Who are you callin' stupid kid!?"
"Okay, I think that might be a sign that we need to take a break." Molly said. "As a matter of fact, why don't I help you find him?"
"No need." Miyuki said, showing up, glove in hand.
"WHERE THE HECK WERE YOU!? I told you wanted to get some practice in before the next challenge!" Eijun shouted.
"I was hungry." The catcher said, shrugging.
"You had food already! You're lying!"
"And you're overreacting." Scratch said.
"Didn't I tell you to be quiet!?"
"Well, you said you wanted to practice. So let's get started." Miyuki said before looking at the glove that Molly was wearing. "I'll take care of things from here. Thanks for taking care of him for me."
"Any time!" Molly said. "By the way, don't you guys think Furuya should get some practice in too?"
"Let's go! Forget him! If he's not here he'll get a chance later!" Eijun said.
"Tch. Typical selfish Sawamura." Miyuki said, shaking his head, but grinning at the same time.
"I'm serious guys."
"It's fine. If this is what he wants, I'll get it done for him. Besides, both of them are like this with me."
"Okay. As long as you're happy, then I'm happy."
***Confessional***
Molly(Wave Breakers):
"Wowza his pitches are strong. I can't even imagine to know how Furuya's pitches feel. Must take a lot for Miyuki to be able to handle those pitches. But it makes sense. He is the catcher after all."
***End Confessional***
***Confessional***
Eijun(Wave Breakers):
"I meant what I said back there. If Furuya doesn't care to practice then that's on him! If he doesn't want the title of Ace, then I'll take it!"
***End Confessional***
***Confessional***
Miyuki(Wave Breakers):
He laughs out loud. "Man. If it was up to those two, I'd starve. And barely have time to myself. If any. You should see what they do back at Seido. Don't get me wrong, I love their enthusiasm, since I know they'll never be lazy. But sometimes, it wears you down. Wonder if Hiruma gets annoyed like this and will just use his weapons to make them leave him alone. Me? I don't have access to weapons at the whim. So, I just pull tricks on them when I want them to leave me alone." He said before cackling.
"Seriously though, where the heck does that guy get so many guns?"
***End Confessional***
A few minutes ago
Furuya was off to himself fishing. The only person that was even close to where he was in the area was Diana, and she wasn't exactly paying attention to what he was up to as she was off in her own thoughts as she was reading.
After what felt like endless silence, he finally caught a fish.
"Fishing again huh?" A voice said, scaring him and causing him to immediately drop the fish back into the water. It was Ruby Gillman. "Whoops. Sorry if I scared you."
Seeing that it wasn't anyone of harm, he went back to fishing. This prompted her to sit beside him. Which only made him feel uncomfortable.
"Don't worry, I'm not mad. Don't get me wrong, it's not exactly something I can say I'm, you know, a hundred percent comfortable with it like it's a normal thing but, you don't seem like the person that takes joy in being cruel to animals."
"Actually, I was going to release it anyway." Furuya replied, staring at the water.
"Like I said, I'm not mad. You didn't have to-"
"It's something I always do."
"Oh."
"But, the animals. I guess Dwayne is the exception." Furuya said.
"Exception? For what?" She then realized exactly what he was talking about. Her statement from earlier about the treatment of animals. "Ohhhh that. Hmm, I guess. Dwayne's somewhere in the middle. Leaning towards the positive side. Though, I wonder how different things would be if guys like me and Mr. Wolf weren't on the team with him."
"Hmm…." Furuya wasn't sure how else to react to her comment.
"No comment huh? Makes sense. Unless we can rewind time, we won't know. Which, given the fact that a least a couple people here can stop time, that isn't entirely out of the question. But anyways, is this something you enjoy doing? Besides baseball, obviously?"
"Yes. Among other things."
"Really now? What else do you enjoy?"
"Reading. Napping. Pitching."
"Wow. I'm starting to think we need a chart to count how many people here like to read." Then she gasped. "Potential TD News question! Definitely going to pitch that Huey, Julie and Riley."
"I didn't think you all did that anymore."
"TD News? That still goes on. The last one was through video chatting. You must have not been there."
"Oh."
"Well, you can always come to the next one. I'm sure everyone would love to hear what you enjoy doing. And your thoughts on different things."
Before he could even say anything, yelling was heard. From Eijun, threating Miyuki.
"If there's one thing for certain, we already have one guy we know we can rely on for any type of loudness challenges. He has to have lungs of steel." When she turned her attention back to Furuya, some type of blue aura was surrounding him.
"Uh, I'm just gonna leave. It was nice talking to you!"
***Confessional***
Ruby G.(Wave Breakers):
"Wonder if that blue aura of his is what grants him that incredible pitching velocity. I know he hasn't shown it off that much, but his throws are insanely fast. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it because of what I've seen here before and he's just mad."
***End Confessional***
***Confessional***
Furuya(Wave Breakers):
*Says nothing as his eyes were completely white with no pupils, blue aura still surrounding him*
***End Confessional***
Urien, Eliza and Sebastian meanwhile, were conversing with one another. And Urien in particular, wasn't happy at all.
"Three in a row. Three!" Urien said, fist balled.
"Winning streaks seem to be a par of the course of this season. As a matter of fact, your team still holds the highest one. I fail to see the problem." Sebastian said.
"The problem is the fact that we've been losing members!"
"But to be fair, the Rats' last loss was bigger than ours. Even if Heather was considered a winner." Eliza reasoned. "Which brings me to my second point, Hiruma's arm may still be injured."
"Still be? You haven't told us anything about this earlier. Why?"
"I wanted to make sure. The worst thing we can do is go on a wild goose chase and it costs us a challenge. If there's one person that will punish you for that, it's him. The problem is the fact that he hasn't been in that many challenges since that injury. Which I'd say is more luck than him trying to hide. Though I think that still holds true too. If you noticed, since the list challenge, his arm has been wrapped. Although, I believe the last time we were here was when the bandages were actually gone."
"I see. But targeting him hasn't exactly worked out in anyone's favor." Sebastian said.
"Also a good point. Although, one person seemed to have had more than enough success of matching and even outright besting him."
Eijun was then heard yelling and threatening Miyuki.
"Speak of the devil." Eliza said.
"So what? You want Miyuki to take care of him?" Urien asked.
"Somewhat. Although, unlike Hanamiya, I'm not sure if he's the type to target those types of vulnerabilities."
"Then why doesn't Urien inform him of that? Or Zak." Sebastian said.
"Zak is your best bet. I doubt Hanamiya will try something as blatant as that. He may not be the biggest threat out of those left like him, but he's not stupid. And if things don't work out with him…."
"Then you could always pin the loss on him. Another scapegoat if you will." Sebastian finished.
"Or he'll rat me out and say that I gave him the idea to do it. Even if it was just something I noticed. Then what?" Urien countered.
"Hmm….. I'd say we're in quite the conundrum then."
"Still, it's your word against his. People are already aware of his reputation. And unlike Haizaki, he's not going to change who he is anytime soon. Who do you think they'll believe?" Eliza reasoned to Urien.
"My point still stands. He could easily lie and some of these idiots will be gullible enough to believe it. I refuse to put my fate in the hands of any of them. And if we keep losing like this, this will keep being the case."
"Then if that is the case, perhaps the best thing to do for now is nothing at all." Sebastian said.
Urien scoffed. "As if that has worked out before in the previous three games?"
"Then what do you suggest we do then? We have teammates. Even if they are just extra bodies to be used for eliminations, it is best that we use them. It is not as if they cannot hold their own. If Eliza believes that Miyuki can truly match or best Hiruma, then perhaps the best thing to do is to dismiss him completely."
"Dismiss him completely? And let my handiwork go to waste?" Eliza said, half-joking.
"As I said before, if the catcher is who you think he is, it won't. I can assure you of that."
***Confessional***
Sebastian(Storm Kings):
"I fail to understand why these two, moreso Urien than Eliza, are so hasty." Sebastian said before shrugging. "Losses happen. There is nothing we can hope to do about them other than improve for the next challenge. Overreacting, like many of these humans do, does nothing but create more problems in most cases."
***End Confessional***
(A/N: Everything now is officially back to the usual order of one scene after another)
"Well, all things considered, things look to be a success so far." Becky F. said, meeting up with the rest of the alliance, outside of Todd, who was absent.
"Any changes you think we need so far? Additional members?" Reimu asked.
"Honestly? No."
"No? Oh I'd love to hear your explanation for this." Louie said.
"Easy. There's a such thing as too much. The more people we have, the more people we can rely on to not vote us out. But, there's the flipside to that. There's a higher chance that we could get exposed. I personally haven't watched the show other than a bit of the time Rally was here, but I already know of the consequences that could happen if this was revealed. I mean, wouldn't you try to get rid of the people that have aligned themselves with each other if you found out?"
"Hmm, true. Well, any people we should be worried about?"
"Am I the only one really doing any type of analysis here?"
No responses were given. Murasakibara was silently eating snacks. Reimu only shrugged and Louie said nothing. And of course, Todd was absent.
"Anyone? And where the heck is Todd?"
"I mean, when you've got people like them, almost everyone is a threat in their own way. I don't really see the point in trying to keep up with that. Yet." Louie reasoned.
Becky sighed. "Wow guys. Okay, well, from what I've seen so far, only a couple come to mind. Hiruma, Jotaro, Ben, Albedo, Miyuki, and I suppose Marinette could be on the list too."
"Nah. Most of this list is redundant." Murasakibara spoke up.
"Why?"
"Easy. Hiruma and Miyuki cancel each other out. Same thing with Albedo and Ben. I could list some others too."
"Just because they cancel each other out doesn't mean they're still not a threat."
"Never said that. What I'm saying is, they'll probably just eliminate each other. Might not happen now. But eventually, it'll get to a point to where it's one or the other in a challenge. How do I know? The Winter Cup. Anyways, you want the list of people or not?"
"Okay. Where is it?"
"Didn't write it."
"Then what the hell was the point of telling us that!?"
He points to his head. "They're all up here. Memorize 'em the first time you don't have to try to remember. Now do you want the list or not?"
"Fine. Who is it?"
"Lu-chin and Soph-chin. Hiru-chin and Miyu-chin. Ben-chin and Albe-chin. Kaga-chin and Mine-chin. Dia-chin, No-chin and Weiss-chin. Rall-chin and Din-chin. Rick-chin and Reaga-chin. Puss-chin and Skip-chin. Oh yeah, almost forgot. Court-chin and Em-chin. And that's about it."
"Could you, I don't know, stop adding -chin to people's names? It gets repetitive and makes it hard to know who's who." Louie said.
"Shouldn't be that hard to figure out."
"I'll be honest, I don't understand it myself." Becky said.
"Maybe it's something unique to him. For example, Hiruma and his 'ya ha'. Or Marisa and 'da ze'." Reimu reasoned.
"Look, I gave you the list. If you don't have any questions or anything else important to add, I think I'll go." Murasakibara said.
"Could you at least write down who you mean?" Becky asked, a notepad out.
"Can't promise it'll all fit on one page. Unless you want an illegible mess. Why don't you just use your phone or laptop or something?"
"Multiple pages is fine. Just hurry up and write it down. Heck, you can keep the notepad if you want until you finish. I'm just worried about the challenge suddenly starting on us. Or someone accidentally stumbling upon what we're doing."
"Fine by me."
***Confessional***
Murasakibara(Radical Rats):
"Damn she is paranoid. But if anything, the only guy that should really be a 'threat' is Jotaro because of his efficiency. And I guess Kise-chin cause of how crazy his copying can get here. If you're really concerned with that kinda thing. Me? I'm not concerned with that at all honestly. Why? I've seen firsthand what a supposed 'nobody' can do. And that 'nobody' kicked all our a[censored]es. I'm not fallin' for that trap again."
***End Confessional***
***Confessional***
Becky F.(Radical Rats):
"I don't fully understand why he has some of them since some of them have barely interacted with each other. But, at least he actually showed up and contributed. Unlike someone here. Or, well, wasn't."
***End Confessional***
Todd, meanwhile, was by himself, looking at the blue Monsuno core that he had in his hand.
"Man, wait till those superpowered guys get a load of this. They're gonna be so surprised!" Todd said to himself before a seagull from above decided to relieve itself on him.
"You can do that all you want, but it still doesn't change a thing!" Todd called out.
***Confessional**
Todd(Storm Kings):
"I've been trying to get those little pieces I got on the core, but it hasn't been working. Maybe you gotta put it on the Monsuno when it's out. At least I hope that's what it is. Otherwise, this is useless! I hope I don't regret not trying to find that Launcher."
Todd continued trying to attach the extra piece he had onto the core, to no effect.
***End Confessional***
Several minutes later, everyone was gathered around for the challenge of the day. Several boxes were seen.
"Alright guys, I now present to you, the contents of today's challenge! Chef, if you'll please pop these bad boys open?" Chris said.
Using the nail puller that he had, Chef opened up all of the boxes in question. Inside them were several weapons. Rollers and buckets were also seen in them.
"Rollers, guns and buckets. What are we doing, painting?" Noah said sarcastically.
"Close. Inking!" Chris said.
"Huh?"
"Guess that means you've never played Splatoon." Chris said.
"No, I haven't."
"Well, whether you have or haven't, it shouldn't make too much of a difference here I think. Regardless, I hope you're ready to ink the island red, because that's what you'll be doing in today's challenge, based off the Splatoon games!"
"Sounds simple enough." Bakura said.
"But boring honestly. You really made a challenge out of covering the island in ink?" Aomine said. "I thought you would have been able to shoot people with it like paintball. I would have been down for that."
"Wait, are we really not going to be doing that? I saw the guns and thought that too. Well that's disappointing." Ruby R. said.
"I'll take simple over insane any day, thank you very much." Becky F. said.
"But it doesn't have to be insane to be fun." May said.
"You guys clearly haven't played the games have you?" Akko asked.
"Sorry, I've made it clear that I'm staying away from games." Becky F. said.
"Same here." Reimu said.
"They're actually fun." Scott said.
"Yeah. They actually are. And Aomine, you'll be getting your wish." Doyle said.
"Wait, are you serious?" Aomine asked, eyes widened.
"Yep."
"Yes! You can hit people with the weapons. Good to know that you're looking forward to actually doing so with them." Chris said.
"Please tell me you didn't add your own 'spin' on this." Hailey said.
"Nope! Didn't feel the need to. Everything, for the most part, is exactly how you know it in the games, if you've heard of them that is."
"So what's different then?" Kurt asked.
"For one, it's the fact that it'll be three teams of four instead of the 4v2v2 mode that's in the third game. By the way, I only played the third game for reference on what to recreate. Thought it was a waste of time to go backwards and play the others. Just before someone says 'this was in the first or the second one' if something's missing or wrong." Heloise explained.
"It's easier said than done to convert some game mechanics into a real-world setting. So I don't think anybody would complain." Hailey said.
"Yeah, the more of the world that gets exposed to games, the better of a place it'll be I'll say. Always good to start off with something easy for beginners." Toxsa said.
"Wait, why was there a four versus two versus two? That seems a little unfair." Asta said.
"Whatever reasons there are, you don't really need to worry about them here. Heloise has already made it clear that the teams will be evened up for this game. Chris said.
"Now, here's how the challenge works. Each team of four will have access to various ink weapons. One will be your primary weapon, another will be your sub-weapon. Of course, they'll have their strengths and weaknesses, but regardless of what you choose, the objective will be the same. Cover the island with as much ink as you possibly can. You'll have three minutes to do so. The team that has covered the most territory wins the game. But regardless of who wins, the top two performers of each team will get something extra for their efforts, so be sure to give it your best."
"Is it immunity?" Courtney asked.
"Nope!"
"Gift cards again?" Mr. Wolf asked.
"Nope! You want to find out? Make the top two."
"By the way, before anyone asks, I decided not to include the special weapons. Would have been way too much to try to implement. Especially within the confines of the island." Heloise said.
"So how exactly are the ink percentages going to be counted?" Reagan asked.
"We'll take care of that. Nothing for you guys to stress yourselves out over." Doyle said before gathering his own weapons. "Not much here other than a forest or two compared to what's on Wawanakwa so it shouldn't be that hard."
"How are you going to do that if you're playing?"
"Easy. We'll do it after."
"How will we be able to refill the ink since we can't swim?" Hailey asked.
"Also addressed that. Ink will refill itself in a good enough rate." Heloise said.
"So how can we hurt people with the ink?" Todd asked.
"Hit them with it."
"Can we use abilities to help us?" Sophie asked.
"No flying, attacks with anything other than the weapons, or extra help. Other than that, anything else if fair game."
"So, I'm curious. How exactly are you going to make a musical out of this?" Noah asked.
"I'm not." Chris answered.
"Wait, really? You're lying aren't you?"
"Nope! Hundred percent the truth! You will not get a musical for this game today. Didn't feel like coming up with one."
"Ah, there we go. Laziness. Makes sense."
"Okay, let's get started. When I call your name, go ahead and start picking weapons."
"Wait, one more question." Hiruma spoke up.
"Has he ever asked a question here?" Chris asked, surprised.
"Don't think so." Chef said.
"Why does it matter? Now can I ask my question or not?" Hiruma asked.
"Sure. Go ahead." Chris said.
"Considering the fact that challenge is only going to be three minutes, if we don't like a weapon, can we switch them out?"
"You know what? That actually slipped my mind." Rally said.
"You? Your mind is slipping about weapons? You're losing your touch Ral." May joked.
She waved her off. "Oh please. I just didn't think about it because they aren't real guns."
"Hmm….. nah. That'd take way too much time. Trust me, you can't go wrong with any weapon you choose." Chris said.
"Fair enough." Hiruma said.
"Don't you think Chris is being way too laid back here? Usually we don't have all these questions because he explains everything in detail. And this is only three minutes." Ruby G. asked Jenny low.
"Hmm, I don't know. It is weird that this is so short though. Maybe he's running out of ideas?" Jenny proposed.
"I think you guys are overthinking this too much. I'm honestly excited. This looks fun!" Julie said.
Ruby saw Furuya out the corner of her eye and remembered her confessional from earlier. He seemed to be okay now.
"Yeah. Maybe you're right. I guess I'm just so used to things, you know, having more nuance to them than this. Well, let's do this!" Ruby G. said.
"So, let's get started. When I call your name, you'll be one of the four to represent your team for this challenge." Chef said.
"May, Zee, Sena and Zero are the four for the Rats."
"Akashi, Din, Bachira and Rook are the four for the Kings."
"Bass, Scott, Zak and Ayame are the four for the Breakers!"
"And these are your twelve! Pick your weapons, then we'll start!" Chris said.
***Confessional***
Aomine(Storm Kings):
"Man. Was really looking forward to this one too."
***End Confessional***
***Confessional***
Julie(Wave Breakers):
"A little disappointed I couldn't be in this one but, you can't have them all."

The twelve finished picking their weapons.
May picked a blaster that had an appearance similar to that of a grenade launcher known as the .52 Gal. Zee picked two dual ink blasters. Sena picked a small roller. Zero picked a sword-like weapon called the Splatana Stamper.
Akashi chose a weapon that resembled a bow and arrow, the Tri-Stringer. Din chose a weapon that looked similar to a toy water pistol, the Splattershot. Bachira chose a paintbrush. Rook also chose a bow and arrow-type weapon, though his was more lightweight than Akashi's.
Bass chose the same weapon that Din had. Zak had a mini-gatling gun. Ayame had a weapon that resembled an umbrella. After seeing everything that his teammates chose, Scott chose his weapon, which was a standard Splat Roller.
"An umbrella? What are you gonna do, unfold it and send paint everywhere?" Zak said to Ayame.
"Well, it is a weapon. I wouldn't underestimate it." Ayame said.
"And you're even worse. An umbrella. Really? At least the rollers make sense." Zak said to Bachira.
Bachira only sighed. "Of course they won't understand."
"What? Who are you talking to?"
"Well? I think we're all ready."
"Hello? Are you going to- never mind."

Zak(Wave Breakers):
"Yeah, there's definitely something up with him. And I don't mean that in like a 'he's a schemer' type of way."

Bachira(Storm Kings):
"I've never actually played this game before, so I didn't pick the brush because of strategy. I picked it, because it reminds me of my mother. I love her so much. More than I love even soccer."

"Now, this whole island is my canvas. Watch out island! Here I come!" Bachira said before laughing.
"Now? Is he a painter?" Weiss asked Isagi.
"Not that I know of. I don't think I've ever seen him show any interest in art." Isagi said.
"Alright. Now that your weapons have been chosen, let's get started!" Chris said. The boxes were brought out into a boat into a distance by Chef and Doyle. After that, the two returned. All twelve competitors had their ink colors changed to represent the teams. Red for Rats, Blue for the Kings and Purple for the Breakers.
"Wait, one more question!" Sena spoke up.
"No, you can't switch weapons."
"Not that. It's about the ink. If Doyle and Heloise are playing, won't that interfere with our ink?"
"Already accounted for that too." Doyle said before both he and Heloise put on goggles.
"Invisible ink, since he didn't make that clear. Hence why we're wearing the goggles. Ink might be invisible, but the pain we're gonna inflict on you sure as heck isn't." Heloise said.
"Do we get a prize for hurting them the most?" Zak asked.
"Nope. Not today. They're here to run interference and that's it. Besides, I don't think there's a way for that to get measured anyway." Chris answered. "Anything else? Last call."
No other questions were given. "Alright. I need you guys to spread out. Teams need to be together. Everybody that's not participating, unless you want to get splattered with ink, follow me to the aftermath set. No, you do not need to communicate with your teammates. This is gonna be over in like a flash I promise."
"Even if it's three minutes, I still think being able to give advice is important. Are any of you familiar with this game?" Old Bennett asked the rest of the team.
"I am." Morty and Akko said.
"No means no! You don't need it! I'm not gonna repeat myself. This is non-negotiable." Chris said.
"Fine." Old Bennett said.
"Good luck." X said.
"Thanks, but I don't think I'll need it for something like this. As odd as it is." Zero said confidently.
Once the teams were spread out in a reasonable distance and the non-participants, including Chris all entered the portal, it was Chef that was preparing to signal the start of the challenge.
"Alright. You already know the rules. Three minutes. No flying, extra help or attacking with anything other than your weapons! You do that, you're immediately out of the challenge! Now I don't have much else to say, other than, good luck, and enjoy!" Chef said.
"Ready?"
…
…
…
…
"Go!"
The three teams and the two neutral players started off ink blazing. Sena took full advantage of the fact that he could still use his own abilities to their fullest extent and used his speed to speed across the island, avoiding attacks from the other teams, while rolling the small roller he had across the ground.
"I can use this to my advantage. None of the others here should be fast enough to keep up with me!" Sena thought before speeding off away from the action.
"Oh no ya don't!" Doyle said before being hit directly in the face by Rook.
"With Sena's speed, he'll give his team the advantage if we don't stop him. Someone needs to follow him!" Din called out, trying to fend off Heloise. "Akashi, can you use your Zone sharing to give us a boost?"
"Three minutes shouldn't be too much. Absolutely." Akashi said before doing just that, sharing the effects of the Zone with his other three teammates.
"Ooh! I've always wondered what this feels like." Bachira said as red electricity began to come out of his eyes.
"Great idea!" Ayame said before transforming. "POWER CHANGE!"
"Wait a second, how is that allowed?" May asked as she lobbed several shots of ink her way, but was dodged due to the ninja jumping over it. Although at the very least, it would count as progress for her team. At least until Bachira covered it with the brush he had.
"They said no attacking. This isn't exactly attacking you know." Ayame said.
"Whatever. Still not gonna stop you from getting splatted!"
"At least her clothes don't get ruined!" Bachira said, running towards them and moving the brush he had in a sweeping motion as if he was moping a floor before swinging the brush around, splatting both May and Ayame in the face before irritating both of them because of said ink getting in their faces.
"Wait. I just thought of something." Rook said before getting hit in the face with ink by both Zee and Doyle.
"Dude, I can't tell you how cool it is to do something like this." Zee said.
"I know right? A Splatoon challenge is a pretty fun idea." Scott said, sending the roller he had forward at Zero, who dashed past it to dodge it.
"Too easy." Zero commented to himself before a challenge in Din presented himself.
"No I mean like, I think it's cool that I'm playing out action movies two challenges in a row. Like the dual pistol thing?"
"Oh." Scott said before being hit directly by Akashi, who was prepared to draw another shot for more ink.
"Pfft, people always say that when it's not realistic." Rally commented.
"Does it really matter? Don't be a party pooper." Tangle said.
"I wasn't trying to be one. Just making a comment."
Focusing back on the game, it was already approaching a minute that was about to pass.
"For you to have somewhat of a resemblance to Vile, I'll give you this, you're a lot more calm and collected than he is." Zero said as he attempted to attack Din with the sword-like Splatana that he had.
"And for you to have a saber like that, you don't look to be a jedi at all." Din replied, jumping back to try and shoot him. But Zero blocked the attacks.
"Jedi? Can't say I know what that is."
Bass and Zak, avoiding fire from Doyle, intervened.
"Dude, he's a robot. Of course he's not going to know what the heck a jedi is." Zak said before preparing to charge the mini-gatling weapon that he had.
"That doesn't mean anything. Some droids know of them." Din countered.
"Does he look like a droid to you?"
"What does that make me then? Think before you speak." Bass said.
"Not a droid. Think before you speak."
Rook threw one of the splat bombs that rolled before Zee's feet, who picked it up.
"What's this?"
"No Zee! Don't-" May started before the bomb exploded in his face.
"Huh. You would have thought that would have hurt." Zee commented.
"Yes. That is what I was trying to say earlier." Rook said, drawing arrows to shoot at the opposing team members.
"You know what? He's got a point. What's up with that?" Adrien asked Chris.
"Dunno. I'm just as surprised." Chris said, shrugging.
"You forgot to give them safety goggles didn't you?" Chef asked.
"Guess so. Whoops."
"Only reason you guys aren't bawling your eyes out in pain is because I made sure the ink wouldn't be harmful to the eyes, just to answer your question." Heloise said as she was on rocket boots, shooting at the nine that were in the area.
"I see. Well then I guess that is one less thing we have to worry ourselves over." Rook said.
"Wait a second, where's Ayame?" May said out loud, not seeing her anywhere. "That little sneak! She ran off!"
"Well, she is a ninja after all." Zee said.
"Doesn't make it any better! Well that's just peachy." She said before being splattered in the face by Akashi. "I can wash this out. Right?" She added, realizing that all of it was getting in her hair too.
"Vanity should be the last thing to worry about. We need to win." Zero said to her as he was in a three-way battle with Bass and Din.
A little over a minute remained. The three that weren't involved, Sena, Bachira and Ayame were all moving around the island, racing to cover up more terrain than one another. But even with the boost that Bachira had, and the transformation that Ayame performed, neither of them were faster than Sena.
"Welp, guess that makes four." Murasakibara commented.
"We've still got a minute to go and you're calling already?" Eijun replied.
"Dude, neither of em are even close to touching Sena. And this isn't even the fastest he can go. So yeah, I am."
"And unfortunately, he's right." Isagi thought.
Ayame started to try to attack Bachira.
"Giving up already?" Bachira asked, countering by throwing a burst bomb her way, which she jumped over to avoid getting hit by the explosion.
"Who said anything about that? Just getting rid of the competition!" Ayame said before suddenly throwing out a bomb ahead of Bachira that created some sort of purple mist that caused him to cough after breathing it in and leaving him disoriented.
***Confessional***
Ayame(Wave Breakers):
"I know, I'll probably have to settle for second, but it's better than getting last I'd say."
***End Confessional***
As Bass was shooting at the ground along with shooting at Din and Zero, he scoffed at Zero who was constantly trying to attack him.
"You realize that this isn't just some battle right? Did you forget what you're playing for?" Bass asked.
"Of course I didn't. But covering the ground isn't the only way to help win. Another way, is by stopping you!" Zero declared before dashing forward and continuing to attack the two.
"For you to be further ahead in time than me, you're certainly not better at thinking."
"Even if that's the case, there's a lot of other things I'm almost certain I'm better than you in."
This comment only irritated Bass and he began to get more aggressive in his shooting.
"Give em another minute." Chris said low to Doyle.
"Chris says you've got another minute!" Doyle called out as he continued to attack Zee and Scott.
"Really? Why?" Scott asked.
"Dunno. I do know is that this is more time for me to ink you guys even more." He said before shooting a stream of ink from his wrists.
"Wait, you have ink wrist blasters?" Zee asked, rolling back to avoid the stream and getting rolled over by Scott and the roller that he had. And of course, covering himself in more ink.
"Ink wrist blasters? I don't remember that being in the game." Scott said.
"That's 'cause it's not. I made it myself." Doyle said.
"For you to never use it again after that. What a waste of materials." Heloise said as she was battling with Rook, Akashi, May and Zak.
"That holds true for most of the stuff that's here in these challenges." Zak said.
"Eh, that's Chris' fault."
"Hey!" Chris called out, offended.
"It's true though." Courtney said.
"Actually no, it's not. I don't waste everything. Some of those materials get used again in other things."
"Name those other things."
"Also, you got arrested because of what you did with the waste on the island. And all of those animals." Dawn pointed out.
"That was like one time. Can we get back to the game please?" Chris said.
Doing just that, about twenty seconds remained. Ayame tried to make up as much ground as she could to try to keep up with Sena, but couldn't. Even covering up the ground that he covered didn't do much good because he just covered even more of it because of his speed.
Din's heightened reactive time and speed because of the Zone allowed him to hold his own against Bass and especially Zero a lot better than if he wouldn't have had it. This even applied to Rook as well. But even this couldn't make Bachira immune to the mist that he inhaled earlier.
"Forget attacking others! Just cover as much as you can!" May said before throwing a bomb far away from herself.
"Wow. Maybe think of that from the get-go?" Zak remarked, doing the same thing, which was firing at the ground.
The last few seconds were frantic as ink was flying everywhere before time was called.
"Okay, that's time!" Doyle said before getting hit in the face with a bomb from Zee, inadvertently hit in the head by Zero and Heloise getting rolled over by Scott.
"You idiot! He said it was time!" Heloise called out on the ground, not happy.
"Sorry, sorry." Scott said.
"Alright, give us a bit and we'll tell you who won." Doyle said.
"Man…." Aomine said to himself.
"Come on, have some faith, you never know." Dewey said, hearing him.
"No, not that. It's Akashi."
"Something wrong?"
"Nothin'."
"So how are they going to measure the ink? And who's who? I know I'm getting annoying with the questions but still." Ruby G. said, which brought the attention away from Aomine.
"I think that's actually a good question." Myron said.
"Let me guess, it's 'they got it covered'." Fiona said in a deadpan tone.
After about another minute or so of checking, Doyle and Heloise both gave the thumbs up.
"Alright, you guys can come on over to the aftermath set." Doyle said as a portal opened.
The twelve followed the two interns to the set.
"Alright, what have you got?" Chris asked.
"It's a tie." Doyle said.
"What?" Several people said in disbelief, for a variety of reasons.
"You can't be serious." Rei said.
"Bulls[censored]! You tellin' me Sena did all that runnin' for nothing?" Sendo said.
"Like Ruby was asking before, what did you even use to measure this?" Courtney asked.
"Doesn't really matter. Top two for each team have been decided too." Chris said.
"What? Just not answering the question?" Weiss said.
"Yeah, what the heck is going on? People deserve to know." Emma said.
"Like I already said, we already have the two top performers for each team. So they're gonna be the ones that'll decide it. Zero and Zee, Din and Bachira, and Bass and Scott are the top two for each." Chris said.
"Sena covered the most ground! That doesn't even make any sense!" Mamori called out.
"That's enough. I don't know what Chris is using to measure this, and at this point it doesn't matter. It's clear he's not gonna tell us so what's the point tryin' to argue. What's next Chris?" Kagami said.
"Glad you asked. Since the island's got ink everywhere, it's gonna have to be cleaned up. So, we're going to have to go somewhere else. Everyone, follow me." Chris said as a portal opened.
"No way. You've been acting weird the entire time. You go in." Rei said.
"Or better yet, send the interns in." Zak said.
"Wow." Doyle commented, referring to Zak's comment. "But fine. You need proof? I got you." He goes into the portal, stays there for a few seconds before coming back out and gives a thumbs up. "That proof enough for you?"
"You could have just told whoever it is to not hurt you or something." Dan said.
"If you're that paranoid, why don't I and a couple others take a look?" Jotaro offered.
"That's a great idea actually. Now who wants to volunteer?"
"Good to know we can eliminate you." Tsukishima said sarcastically.
"Oh shut up. It's not like you're going to go."
"That's fine with me. I'll take care of it." Din said.
"Just when I was about to go back to normal too. Well, guess I can go." Ayame said.
"Count me in as well." Zero said.
"Four should be enough I think. No need to unleash the entire army." May joked.
The four all went in the portal, with Jotaro having to step down from the bleachers. A few seconds later, they all returned.
"Well?" Urien said expectantly.
"Nothing to be worried about. No threats." Zero said.
"Looks like it's some sort of stage." Din added.
"Chris, what exactly are we doing?" Ayame asked.
"Well, why don't we find out and go on in?" Chris said. "This will be the last part of the challenge to settle things."
"I don't know…." Bren said.
"Dude, literally four of some of the best guys we have here went in. What more could you want?" Louie asked.
"That is true."
"Get in that portal before I drag you in there four eyes." Bobo said.
They all entered the portal and were on a stage.
"What the heck is this place?" Natsu asked.
"Wait, I know this place." Noah said.
"So do I." Courtney added.
"I do as well. It's-" Dawn started before the noise of a crowd was heard. The problem was, no one was seen.
"Cheering but no crowd. Sitcom effects?" Marinette inferred.
"Yes, unfortunately." A small man in a suit wearing glasses said.
"Chudd Chudders?" The remaining veterans from previous Total Drama seasons said.
"Wait a minute, I don't think I've ever seen you before." Zee said, after realizing that he joined in with the unison of people.
"That's probably because you haven't. As a matter of fact, none of the newbies in the last two Total Drama seasons, including Ridonculous Race have." Chudd said.
"One season. That other season is not Total Drama." Chris said.
"Whether you like or not it says Total Drama on it, so that's what it is." Emma said.
"Wait, was it a bad season?" Toxsa asked.
"Not at all actually."
"Can attest to that. Didn't win of course, but it was definitely a breather from Chris." Noah said.
"Oh. Well, I was gonna compare it to like having a bad game in a-" Toxsa started before Chris cut him off.
"Okay, I think that's enough. Chudd, can you start the show?" He asked the Skatoony host.
"With pleasure Chris!" Chudd said. "Everyone, please take a seat before we begin! And as a bonus, the intro will be sung by you all as well!"
"So we get to do the intro? Neat!" May exclaimed.
Begin Skatoony Intro
(Sung by everyone, including Chris, Chef, Doyle and Heloise with the exception of Din, Jotaro, Shiro and Paul, the lines switch between veterans to newbies each line as shown in the first two lines below)
Veterans:(Skatoony!)
Newbies:It's the word on the street!
(Skatoony!)
It makes me feel so neat!
(Skatoony!)
It gets me out of sight!
*Simultaneously*Skatoony, why don't you take me for a ride!
(Skatoony!)
Sounds real sweet to me!
*Simultaneously* It's crazy when you're loony, baby!
It's Skatoony! Yeah!
"Welcome to Skatoony! The show where kids and toons compete for prizes! And here's the pair, brimming with fanfare, Chudd Chudders!" The Skatoony announcer called out.
Chudd was seen doing a crossword puzzle. "What's a seven letter word that finishes the sentence 'Has anyone seen my' oh I got it! Glasses!"
"And The Earl!"
Earl is seen wearing his normal attire, which was a paradise pink shirt, a purple jacket over the shirt, black pants and brown shoes. He also wore gold jewelry, consisting of two rings, a bracelet and a necklace. His rosewood hair was curly and shaped in an afro.
"Glad to be back! Crossovers are always fun." Earl said.
"And in this case, this was ran past me by the producers so I'm cool with it." Chris said.
"He's right. Really great that I get to host a challenge for not only one, but two episodes in Total Drama!" Chudd said excitedly.
"Yeah, and I'm the only host that would let you that, remember that."
"Even if that's the case, you won't be here for long." A man named Charles Le Puck said overhead in an office. He had a stubble beard, red eyebrows, a red wig and a brown suit with a matching shirt, tie and pants with a green whistle.
"Says who?"
"Says me! You're in our house now, which means you play by my rules! Which means, I get to pick the contestants, and you…." He pulls out a remote with a red button on it. "Get no part in this!" Chris was sent flying by a spring trap.
"Should I go help him or…?" Doyle asked.
"Nah. He'll be fine." Heloise said. "Who have you got in mind Charles?"
"I don't know, Chris already gave me a list of people-" Chudd started before Charles cut him off.
"Get rid of that list! Pick the people I've got or you're fired!" Charles said.
"Is there really a need to make threats?" Dawn asked.
"At least let him share what he has in mind. Easiest way to get him out of your hair." Heloise said.
"Out? You've got another thing comin' if you think I'm just gonna go away! But anyways, two from each team. Emma and Yulaw, Eliza and Courtney, and finally, Johnny and Hailey." Charles said.
"If they're okay with it, that's okay with me." Chudd said, with all six giving their own forms of approval before taking their seats in each of the respective seats for the six players in the game.
"What made you choose those six? I don't really see much of a correlation." Myron asked.
"Ratings! You have the pair that clearly don't like each other, another pair who got into a big unexpected fight, and of course, you have the pair that are polar opposites working together! Of course people are going to gravitate to figuring out how those last two are going to work together."
"Okay yeah, that last one definitely holds up, because I was definitely confused." Ruby G. said.
"I think we'll do just fine." Hailey said.
"Got that right kid." Johnny said confidently. "Wait, what are we doin' again?"
"Good question Johnny! Skatoony is a quiz game show! And not to worry, I'll explain the rules as we go along. But first, let's introduce our contestants! First up, Emma!"
This caused her to wave to the camera.
"Yulaw!"
"Glad to be here." Yulaw said.
"Eliza!"
Eliza blew a kiss before waving to the camera.
"Courtney!"
Courtney also waved to the camera. "Let's dominate this game Eliza!"
"Hailey!"
"Hi!" Hailey said before waving to the camera, admittedly a little nervous after figuring out that she was exclusively the focus at the time.
"And Johnny!"
He did several poses for the camera. "Don't worry kid, I'll handle the fame, you handle the game."
"So, how does this work? Do we work together?" Emma asked.
"Nope! This challenge is everyone for themselves!" Chudd began to explain.
"But if that's the case, what about eliminations?" Hailey asked.
"There probably are none." Courtney said.
"Actually there was supposed to be. Chris was going to tell you that before he got launched, so I'm telling it to you. Only way you're safe is if you're part of the team that wins or gets second. That's it." Heloise said.
"So if we were to hypothetically get last place, one of us must go, or can it be any of the previous four that competed?" Eliza asked.
"Anything that happened before this is null and void, so no!" Charles said.
"I don't think I have to tell you how important this is that we have to win this, right?" Courtney said to Eliza.
"Of course not. I came here to win." Eliza said.
"Great. No pressure at all." Yulaw said sarcastically, half-serious and half-faking it.
"Don't worry, we've got this." Emma said.
"Like I said kid, you handle the tough questions kid. Anything else, I can take care of it easy. Like, miss hot stuff over there." Johnny said, raising his eyebrows at Eliza.
"I'm flattered. But unfortunately that won't make me go any easier on you." Eliza said.
"Hey, if ya lose, it's not on me I promise." Johnny said. "Look at her."
"Hey! What are you doing?" Hailey said in disbelief that he'd pin attention to her again.
"Alright, I can tell you're excited to play so let's not waste any time and get started!" Chudd started.
"That's right! Listen up!" The Earl added.
"All you gotta do to win is stay in the game for 3 quick, rapid fire rounds! When the first round ends, we're gonna knock two players out! And then we'll do the same thing again to the remaining four in the second round. The finalists will battle it out in round 3 to see who goes to the Skatoony Quiz Champ Challenge! There they'll play for the chance to become this special episode's champion and receive a unique trophy in commemoration of their efforts at the end of the game!" Chudd explained.
"Did you guys get all that? I hope it wasn't a mouthful." The Earl asked the six.
"I got it." Yulaw said.
"Yep." Johnny said.
"Sounds simple enough." Eliza said.
"I'm good to go." Hailey said.
"Same here." Emma said.
"Good to go is right. Because that's what's going to happen to you two." Courtney declared.
"In your dreams. You haven't been able to get wins in the times we've gone up against each other overall." Emma said.
"You act like it was just so one-sided."
"It was!"
"Teamwise maybe!"
The back and forth only caused Yulaw to shake his head.
"Yeah, Charles definitely knew what he was doing with this." Aomine commented.
"As if you're not the same way with Kagami?" Yang remarked.
"Yeah no. You wanna make comparisons, Lucy and Sophie clears."
Both gave him a deadpan stare.
"I can feel your stares, and I couldn't give two flying f-"
"Well we can definitely the existence of Emma and Courtney's lawyer rivalry is bang on! And speaking of which, let's start with the first round which is-" Chudd said, unintentionally cutting off Aomine.
"Bang on or Bogus!" Earl finished.
Round 1: Bang on or Bogus
"Alright everyone. I'm gonna say some statements. Your job is to figure out what's true and what's false. If you think it's true say 'bang on' and if it isn't say 'bogus'. Got it? Let's run through it again just to make sure. If you think it's true you say…."
"Bang on!" The six finished.
"And if you think it's false ya shout…"
"Bogus!"
"Great! Now remember, at the end of the round, the players with the two lowest scores will be knocked out so make sure you keep that in mind."
"Welp, looks like I'm not gonna play so, guess I can work on some potions." Sucy said in her usual deadpan tone.
"Here? How?" Lotte asked.
"Watch and you'll find out." She said, taking out a jar that had a beetle trapped in it before putting on gloves. "If you value your safety, I would suggest you all stay clear."
"Noted." Noah said, admittedly uncomfortable after she said that.
"You'll all have as long as Sucy takes to test out her potions. Now, are you ready?" Chudd asked.
All six contestants gave their own versions of a confirmation of 'yes'.
"Awesome! Let's play!"
"Kise is the only Miracle to not have a solo musical in the season so far."
Yulaw was the first to press the button. "Easy, bogus."
"Correct!"
"Seriously though, I'm shocked Haizaki got one before Kise and even Akashi. Hell, I'm shocked I got one." Aomine said.
"Linux is an operating system."
"Bang on!" Hailey declared.
"Yes!"
"John Rambo in the Rambo movies was played by Arnold Schwarzenegger."
"Bogus." Yulaw said.
"Yep!"
"Touching dry ice barehanded can cause frostbite."
"Bang on." Hailey declared.
"Correct!"
"Alaska is a country."
"That's bogus obviously." Courtney said, marginally beating Emma.
"Right on!"
"Cats are nocturnal!"
"Bang on!" Johnny said confidently.
"Nope! That's bogus."
"Man! Alright, who lied to me and said that?"
"That's a pretty common misconception believe it or not." Huey said.
"Transformers Cybertron is an actual series."
Emma was the first to press a button. "Uh, Bogus?"
"Nope! Believe it or not that's bang on!"
"Louisiana has an NHL team." Chudd continued.
"Bogus." Emma declared, beating out Courtney.
"You're on the board!"
"The speed of sound is faster than the speed of light."
"Bogus obviously." Eliza declared.
"The current season is the same in every part of the world."
"Bogus!" Johnny declared.
"Correct! You're on the board!"
"I knew it! How else is it cold in some places but hot in others?"
"Turtles are the slowest moving animals in the world."
"Bang on!" Johnny declared.
"Nope! That's bogus!"
"What? How!? Don't tell me snails move slower?"
"Sloths are slower than turtles." Libby corrected.
"Well how the heck am I supposed to know that? They all move equally slow!"
"It's not by much, but it definitely is true."
"Again, they all look like they move slow."
"Then if you know that, why in the world would you press the button?" Emma and Courtney said simultaneously, with both of them awkwardly looking at each other.
"Whatever, next question!"
"A tie has never happened in the NFL." Chudd said.
Johnny immediately pressed the button, surprising even Yulaw.
"That's definitely bogus."
"And that's definitely correct! How's everything looking over there Sucy?"
The beetle that was in the jar changed colors completely, with it being changed to green.
"I'll let you know when I'm done. That's all I can tell you." She answered.
"Hey kid, you got a few right, right?" Johnny asked Hailey.
"Yeah. Why?" She asked, confused.
"You'll see." He said before winking, though he forgot he was wearing glasses.
"Good enough for me Sucy! We're in no rush! Next question!" Chudd said. "In Total Drama Island Multiverse Edition, Dipper was able to make the merge."
Johnny quickly pressed the button.
"I don't know, but that sounds like it's bang on."
"And you would be right!"
"Asta and Noelle have been the only late entries this-"
Before he could even finish, Johnny pressed the button.
"Bogus. The big purple haired guy was one too."
"You didn't even let him finish." Eliza said to him.
"Regardless, it's still right! Point to Johnny!" Chudd said.
"Tigers are-"
Johnny pressed the button. "Bogus."
"I didn't even finish but no, it's bang on anyway."
"In the battle of-"
"Bang on!"
"Nope! It's bogus!"
"Stop pressing the button if you don't know the question!" Courtney said.
"What are you doing?" Hailey said to Johnny.
"Saved By the Bell-"
"Bang on!" Johnny said.
"Yes!"
"How is this even fair? He's not even allowing the full question to be heard!" Eliza protested.
"Nothing in the rule book that says he can't." The Earl said.
"That's right. If anything, it's a matter of risk/reward when doing so." Chudd said.
"Anime is-"
Johnny declared. "Bogus!"
"Correct!"
"Fr-"
Eliza immediately pressed the button.
"Bogus!"
"Also correct!"
"S-"
"Bang on." Yulaw declared.
"Nope, it's bogus!"
"J-"
Emma and Courtney immediately pressed the button along with everyone else.
"Yulaw got to it first so it's his guess!"
"Bang on." He declared.
"Yes!"
The beetle that Sucy was experimenting on shriveled up into an inconceivable black object.
"Welp, guess that's it." Sucy said.
"And that is also it for this round!"
"Wow. I'm really interested to see what the score is." Emma said.
"Let's find out!"
Yulaw: 3
Hailey: 2
Courtney: 1
Emma: 1
Eliza: 2
Johnny: 5
"Emma! Courtney! You two have the lowest two scores, which means it's time for you to get the boot!"
"Can't say I'm surprised honestly." Emma said.
"Wow. I cannot believe that I got booted because of Johnny pressing the button constantly." Courtney said.
"Hit it Earl!"
"Thanks for playing but-" Earl started to sing.
"You're outta here!" The other four contestants chimed in to finish.
"You gave it a go but-"
"You're outta here!"
"Don't hang around town!"
"You're outta here!"
"It's time to go!"
"'Cause that's the show! And you're outta here!"
The pair were given the boot, literally as they were launched out of their seats into a cheesecake factory.
"Wow, that's gotta be the most surprising result so far." Myron said.
"Yeah, I thought those two would get further than that. Guess Johnny put a wrench in those plans." Kurt said.
"We'll be right back for a short commercial break! But if you still want more quizzing, while you wait, here's a bit of extra knowledge for ya! Enjoy!" Chudd said.
*Commercial Break*
"Now for a Total Drama Across the Multiverse Fun Fact!" Bren announced.
Total Drama has had its fair share of competitors represent shows with at least a bit of a Canadian background/connection to them. Even Power Stone is a part of that list! And you can even Monsuno to that list as well! Unbeknownst to many, Monsuno also had a separate Canadian dub which included the following notable voice actors compared to the US and Japanese Dubs.
Zachary Bennett as Chase Suno(Played Shun from Bakugan, Shawn in TD:Pahkitew Island and Zach Varmitech and Gaston Gournamd in Wild Kratts)
Stephanie Seki as Jinja AKA Zoey in the Canadian Dub(Played Maru in Beyblade: Metal Fusion and Shogun Steel and was a part of the production cast for many Canadian cartoons including Total Drama)
"And that is your fun fact of the day! Stay tuned for more!"
"Now for Total Drama Across the Multiverse Trivia!" Myron announced.
Despite the series going under the radar, one member of Earth's very own Scan2Go racing team, Team JET, has one character whose VA has dubbed characters from several other franchises represented this season. Who is it?
A: Fiona
B: Kaz
C: PEL
D: Shiro
E: Diego
F: Myron
If you think you know it, put it in a review or the comments! The answer will be revealed in the next chapter!
*End Confessional*
"Welcome back to the show everyone! Our would-be lawyers may have gotten the boot, but our remaining competitors don't feel guilty in the slightest! Who's ready to play on?" Chudd said.
"I am!" Hailey spoke up.
"Same here." Yulaw said.
"Let's do it!" Johnny said.
"Do I even have to say it?" Eliza said. "Of course I am!"
"Great! Tell 'em what's in store for round 2 Earl!" Chudd said.
"Draw what you hear and shout out when you know what you've drawn!" Earl announced.
The remaining four were given notebooks that had blank pieces of paper with no lines.
"You said a mouthful there that's for sure. But don't let that title fool you, this game is a lot less complicated than that. I'm gonna read out some directions. And all you need to do is draw out what I tell you to. When you think you know what it is I'm having you drawn, just push that buzzer! So in this case, this is the one time that pressing the buzzer quick could be advantageous!"
"And what if you press the buzzer early and don't get it right?" Eliza asked.
"Easy. If you get it wrong, just keep drawing until you think you've got it."
"In other words, you still can't be punished for constantly pressing the buzzer over and over again." Noah said.
"Not exactly. That still eats away time." Becky F. said.
"Speaking of time, you've got until Doyle here finishes his pushups!" Chudd said, referring to the fact that he was currently doing pushups not too far where the game was taking place.
"10 sets of 20 by the way." Doyle informed.
"Then let's get going! First, draw one large circle at the bottom, one slightly smaller circle on top of it, and one small circle at the top."
Johnny immediately pressed the button. "A stack of balls."
"Nope! Keep drawin'! Now on the top circle, draw two dots on the left and right."
Hailey immediately pressed the button. "A snowman!"
"Yes! First scratch goes to Hailey for the round! Now, next one. Draw a triangle at the bottom, then draw several lines, cris-crossed within that triangle.
Johnny pressed the button. "Is it pizza?"
"No, it's not pizza. You're getting colder!"
"Worth a try."
"Now, draw a circle on top of the cone."
Yulaw immediately pressed the button.
"It's ice cream." He said matter of factly.
"Yes! Another frozen novelty. Now, draw a circle. Then-"
Eliza immediately pressed the button. "A snowball."
"Nope! Nothing cold this time I promise!"
"I guess Johnny's stupidity is rubbing off on the others." Tsukishima said.
"You say that as if it's a bad thing." Miyuki said.
"That's because it is?"
"Well, he's not wrong. But it's not for the reason he thinks." Miyuki thought.
"Now draw several lines cris-crossed in the circle." Chudd instructed.
"A waffle." Hailey guessed.
"Nope! Although this talk of food definitely makes me want to get something to eat after this. Now, on the four corners of the circle, draw small sausages, then draw a larger one on the top of it."
Eliza quickly pressed the buzzer. "What have you got?" Chudd asked.
"A turtle." Eliza said confidently.
"Yes! You doin' okay Doyle?"
"Yep. Taking a bit of a rest. At 70." Doyle said.
"Not much time then." Yulaw said.
"Sounds about right! Now, draw two Us on the left and right on the paper."
Yulaw immediately pressed the buzzer. "A table? I don't know."
"No, not a table. Keep going. Draw two circles in between the Us on the left and right."
"Hmm, I don't know this one so far." Puss commented.
And neither did anyone else.
"Now connect the Us to the circle, extending the left line on the right U to connect to the right circle only, and the right line on the left U to connect to the left circle only."
"A bus?" Johnny guessed, not sure.
"Nope! Not a bus! Now on the left side, above the left U, draw a plus sign, then on the right side, above the right U, draw four circles."
Hailey immediately pressed the button after hearing this.
"Do you think you know it?" Chudd asked.
"I think so. It's a game controller! Right?" Hailey guessed, showing the picture she drew.
"It is a game controller! Keep rackin' up those points!"
"Getting' to 130." Doyle said.
"Good to know. Next, draw two lines and make sure you connect them at a perpendicular angle. Otherwise, a right angle."
"Glad you said the second thing. I was lost on the first one." Johnny said.
"Just another way to say right angle." Hailey said.
"Oh. Well, I'm still gonna keep saying that."
"Now draw several numbers. Start from the top with 12. Then, go clockwise, starting with 1."
"A clock!" Eliza declared.
"Nope! Keep going!"
"Draw a circle around the numbers and the lines. Then, draw rectangles from the top and the bottom."
"Watch! It's a watch." Johnny said.
"Yes!"
"Thanks for the hint. Was gonna say clock at first." Johnny said to Eliza.
"I wasn't trying to help you." Eliza said.
"Sure you weren't. You don't gotta go easy on me. I can take some tough love."
"I'm not even going to try to get through to you anymore."
"Oh man. 160!" Doyle said, his arms getting more exhausted by the minute. "Gonna try to power through the rest though. 20 each!"
"Which means, we're running out of time!" Chudd said. "Draw two ovals. Make sure they're close, but don't have them touch."
Everyone furiously scribbled to try to be first. And the first to do it was Yulaw.
"Eyes?" He guessed. His ovals were nowhere near perfect. In fact, one was bigger than the other. But that was the product of trying to rush.
"Nope! And I'd hope not. One eye's bigger than the other."
"Close enough."
"But not close enough to get it right I'm afraid. Now draw a line in between the ovals to connect them."
"It's glasses." Yulaw guessed again. The line actually went through one of the ovals.
"Yes! Now, draw semi-circle. Make sure the circle is at the top of the page."
Yulaw immediately pressed the buzzer.
"A watermelon?"
"Nope. If it was one, That'd be one narrow watermelon. Now, draw a line, and make sure you connect it to the bottom of the semi-circle.
"A spoon?" Johnny guessed.
"Nope!"
"A shovel." Eliza guessed.
"Yes!"
"Come on!" Doyle said, trying to get the last set done.
"One more! Draw an arrow that points upwards, but don't draw the usual straight line in between."
Hailey was about to panic and press the button but stopped herself, telling herself to keep calm and let someone else get the initial guess.
"An angle." Johnny guessed.
"Nope! Now, draw a square right under the arrow. But don't draw the top line of the square."
A buzzer was heard. The source of the buzzer being Yulaw.
"It's a house." Yulaw said.
"Correct!"
Doyle got up. "Alright, that's it!"
"Alright, since Hailey and Eliza are tied, we'll do one more. This one's only for Hailey and Eliza. Now, first up, draw a hexagon."
"It's a stop sign." Hailey quickly guessed after doing a very crude scribble.
"Please. You can't be-" Eliza started before being cut off.
"That's it! Which means, you move on to the final round!"
"Wait, really?" Hailey said in disbelief.
"Yes! Don't believe me? Check the scores!"
Yulaw: 3
Hailey: 3
Eliza: 2
Johnny: 1
"And that means the road ends for you here Eliza and Johnny."
"Charles, surely you have a problem with these rounds were won?" Eliza asked.
"If it's not against the rules, I say it's fair game." Charles said.
"Don't you think this could affect oth-"
"All I'm hearin' is excuses from a loser! I didn't hear all this when you got past the first round. So take those excuses somewhere else! Chudders! Get her and the blondie outta here!"
"Wait a sec, I lost?" Johnny asked.
"That's right, which means-" Chudd said.
"You're outta here!" Earl, Hailey and Yullaw sung simultaneously as the losing two were sprung out of the show.
"Now it's time for the final round! The winner will move on to the Skatoony Quiz Champ Challenge! Are you ready?"
"Yes." Both contestants said simultaneously.
"Okay, let's play a game of-"
"Hoo Flung Dung!" Earl announced.
A gorilla wearing a red bowtie and a red tophat appeared as he rolled along a large canvas.
"One of my favorite rounds!" Hoo said.
"What's up with the Arnold impression?" Rick said.
"Everyone says that, but I don't hear it. Really!"
"Well I do."
"Tell me Hoo, why is this round your favorite?" Chudd asked.
"It's because, I get to share my love for art to everyone here." Hoo said.
"And of course, we love to see it. Now before Hoss gets started, let's explain what you two have to do. Hoss is going to fling dung at the canvas. You figure out what he's making, you get a point! This is only one attempt per person so make it count."
"Well, guess they already had the solution that Eliza was looking for." Sophie commented.
"Now, are you two ready?"
Yulaw nodded.
"Ready as I'll ever be." Hailey said.
"Go Hailey!" Scott cheered.
Eijun was about to rally the others to yell but was stopped by Mr. Wolf. "The shouting's not necessary bud. Just this once alright?"
"Go HAILEY!" Eijun yelled out which caused Mr. Wolf to sigh and shake his head.
"Thanks. Really-"
"GO YULAW!" Monta shouted back.
"Please, no yelling! I need to concentrate!" Hoo yelled out, which immediately quelled the two energetic contestants.
"Now, let's get started!"
"Chris is calling. He wants me to bring him back. Be right back guys." Doyle said before flying off.
"You have until Doyle comes back with Chris, so let's get started!"
Hoo threw one ball of dung at the canvas. The first thing that was revealed was a semi-circle with spots on it.
"A ladybug." Yulaw immediately declared.
"Yes! Point one to Yulaw!" Hoo threw another ball to finish off the painting, causing Yulaw to get hit by stray splats, which only went on to annoy him.
Hoss started from scratch and threw another ball. A crescent was seen which caused Hailey to immediately pull the trigger.
"The moon?"
"Nope!" Chudd said.
"Too bad. Do better!" Hoo said before chucking another wad. The crescent was revealed to have been connected to a cylinder.
"A mug." Yulaw declared.
"Yes! Another point!"
"Yes! You get it!" Hoo said before throwing two more wads at a blank page. The first thing that was seen was a head with two black ears. A mouth was also added.
Yulaw smelled blood and was trying to put this game away.
"A mouse."
"Nope!"
Hoo threw another was, creating a large circle with a black section in between the two circles.
"A panda!" Hailey guessed.
"Yes! Point to Hailey!"
Hoo threw a was at yet another clean page.
Two triangles were seen. The triangles were mostly black but the top was white.
"Mountains." Yulaw guessed.
"Yes!"
The next start of the figure was a horizontal rectangle with two triangles on the left and right side of the rectangle. And the top and bottom of it as well.
"An envelope!" Hailey guessed.
"Yep! That's a point!"
"He says he's on his way back." Heloise announced.
"Okay! Let's wrap things up!"
"You cannot rush art!" Hoo said before throwing more dung at a new piece of paper.
A round body with a tail at the end shaped like a spring was seen.
"A pig!" Hailey immediately guessed.
"Yes! Point to Hailey!"
An oval with one side not having a point was seen after Hoss threw another ball at a new canvas. It was pointing upwards.
Neither were quick to pull the trigger until he threw the second ball, which had a circle, and the edge of the curve of the oval was black. The person that pressed it first was Yulaw.
"A fish."
Just then, Doyle had came back with Chris.
"Well, is it over yet?" Doyle asked.
"It is now." Yulaw said.
"Actually, no!" Chudd said with Yulaw looking in disbelief.
"It's a rocket." Hailey guessed.
"Yes! That's it!" Hoo said.
"And with that, Hailey is our Skatoony Quiz Champion!" Chudd announced.
"I won! Yes!" Hailey shouted.
Yulaw could only shake his head.
"Yulaw, you put up a valiant effort but-" Chudd started.
"You're outta here!" Hailey and Earl called out with Yulaw being sent flying.
"Yeah, I'm gonna be honest, your list was kinda disappointing. And I'm not saying that to take away the win Hailey earned. Not her fault." Chris said.
"Couldn't you have waited to say that? That was really bad timing." Sly said.
"Sorry, but I had to get that off my chest right then and there. Anyways, start the last round."
"You don't run this show, I do! It starts when I give it the okay!" Charles said before seconds later he added, "Chudd, start the show we're running low on production time here."
"What was the point of- never mind." Heloise said.
"You've got 90 seconds to answer 10 questions correctly. If you can't answer a question, just say something silly and I'll give you another one. Got it?" Chudd asked.
"Yep!" Hailey said.
"Okay! Let's get this show on the road!" Earl said.
"In the live action X-Men movies such as X-Men The Last Stand, Wolverine is played by who?"
"Uh…. I don't know! Pass!" Hailey said.
"Hugh Jackman!"
"Fill in the blank. Microsoft's first Xbox competed with the Dreamcast, the PS2 and the what?"
"Uh… the Gamecube, right?"
"Yep! That's one!"
"Bang on or Bogus? Ash's Pikachu can never evolve."
"Bogus."
"That's right!"
"In the Episode, the Future is Now on this Total Drama season, how many featured musicals were there?"
"Two!"
"Yes!"
"In Star Wars, who is Anakin's Padawan?"
"Ashoka!"
"Another point, that is!" Chudd said, doing an impression of Yoda's voice.
"How many countries are in the world?"
"Uh… 170?"
"Nope! 196!"
"Who was the artist of the hit song 'Baby' in 2010?"
"Justin Bieber right?"
"Yes!"
"Who was the first team in NBA history to come back down 3-1 in the NBA finals and win?"
"The Lakers?" Hailey guessed, genuinely not knowing the answer.
"Nope! The Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016!"
"Okay, let's stop the clock!"
Earl stops the clock.
"Wait, did I lose?" Hailey asked, panicking.
"Nope! You haven't lost yet. In fact, you've managed to score five points so far in 45 questions. So not too shabby! But, Earl could help you do even better with, Earl's Halfway Deal!"
"Okay Ms. Banks, I'm willing to help give you a boost by giving you two extra points to bring you up to seven! But, to do this, I'm gonna need something from you in return! And that something is 20 seconds of your remaining time, leaving you with 25 seconds if you accept the deal! So, what do you say?"
"Take the deal!" Beta whispered, which wasn't really a whisper because he could still be heard by the others.
"I….."
"Don't do it!" Eijun yelled out.
"Time matters more! Don't take the deal! What if he's trying to trick you!?" Kaz yelled out.
"Would you two be quiet? He is not trying to trick them." Jenny said.
"Don't listen to those idiots Hailey, take the deal!" Beta said.
"You too Beta!"
"What? But I'm-"
"Hurting, not helping."
"Morons….." Dan said under his breath.
"Whatever you think is best for you, we'll support it." Scott said to Hailey.
"I'll… take it!" Hailey declared.
"Alright, a deal's a deal!" Earl said before taking time off the clock.
"Alright, let's get on with the quiz!" Chudd said.
"What tactic did the Continental Army use against the British in the American Revolution to surprise them?"
"Guerrilla warfare." Hailey declared.
"Correct!"
"In the original Men in Black movie trilogy, the two main Agents are-"
"J and K!"
"Yes!"
"15 seconds!"
"Which anime and manga series has a main character named Kenshiro?"
"Uh….. Pass!"
8 seconds remained.
"What year was the first iPhone introduced?"
"2007!" Hailey said quickly.
"Correct! And with only two seconds to spare! You are today's and by extension, Total Drama Across the Multiverse's Skatoony Champion!"
"Yes!" That was all she could say as she still couldn't believe that she was able to win.
'You did it Hailes!" Scott said, being the first to come over and congratulate her, shaking her multiple times and causing her to lose her glasses. "Sorry."
"It's okay! I…. still can't believe I won!"
"Can't believe it? Come on! You're like, a genius! Of course there's a chance you'd win!"
"Oh stop it, I'm not that-"
"And here is your prize!" Chudd said as a trophy and a laptop.
"Wait, a laptop? But I already have-"
"Trust me, I'm sure this one runs better than whatever you have." Heloise said. "Now hurry up and get over here so I can take this picture."
"Yeah, I put Heloise up to it. Was trying to come up with some cool stuff besides money this time." Chris said as she prepared to pose for a picture.
"Besides money? What the heck do you mean? I could have used money!" Aomine called out.
"Same here!" Todd said.
"Of course you'd say that." Kagami said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Todd asked, offended. "Don't judge-"
"Not you. He's talkin' to me." Aomine said.
"Yeah. I am." Kagami said.
"Don't talk as if you wouldn't snatch up that money yourself."
"Course I would, but you only want because you're too damn lazy to actually earn money with a job!"
"Considering we have an elimination, I think you chose the worst time to argue." Sophie said.
"Pot callin' the kettle black poor man's mage." Aomine said.
"A seeker is not the same as a mage!"
"That is true. Mages have definitely been proven to outclass seekers." Lucy commented.
"Okay, I think that's enough." Rally said.
"Neither team is in a position to say anything honestly." Louie said. "Who's getting eliminated anyway? Since Emma and Courtney both got the boot first."
"Sudden death probably." Sendo said.
"Actually, there was no elimination at all today. I lied so you wouldn't phone this challenge in, even if there was a prize. Because I already know that there's more of you compared to last time, that don't really care about that sort of thing." Chris said.
"Why? If you don't it that way then don't have it to where no one's eliminated."
"It was this way last time. Plus, Chudd was running the show here so I didn't exactly have much say in whether there'd be an elimination or not."
"Yep! I didn't want anyone to have to go for a fun challenge like this. But, at the very least, I wanted to at least see you try your best for prizes. Although, Chris never told me anything about the lying part." Chudd said.
"Course I didn't. Otherwise you'd have a problem with it. Anyways, was really hoping for more drama and conflict here from me doing that, but no, didn't really happen. But, congrats to Hailey! Everybody, you can go home, no eliminations, as I said before."
"We're gonna get this framed once this episode ends. Right next to the frame of our last Total Drama Skatoony crossover champ!" Chudd said after looking at the picture that was taken.
"Who was the last one?" Hailey asked.
"Mabel Pines!" He then showed her a copy of the picture.
"Oh wow, she got to take a picture with Superman? Wonder how he lost the season?"
"Oh that? Superman didn't compete in the season. He was a guest that competed against Mabel for the final prize in the episode, with Mabel beating her. Although surprisingly, it wouldn't have been his first rodeo in Total Drama if he was there actually." Chris explained.
"No way. I refuse to believe she beat Superman. Unless…" Hailey figured it out on her own how she won, which was by him letting her win.
"Alright, that's the end of the show! Get outta here Chris! You're using more time!" Charles called out.
"Didn't wanna stay here anyway. But at least let me do the outro."
"Fine. But make it quick."
"And with that, Hailey Banks is this season's Skatoony Total Drama Champ! But there will be an elimination next challenge! And you better believe that will be a lot better executed drama on the next episode! Or conflict, take your pick!"
"That better not be a shot at me!" Charles called out.
"We'll never know. But you will know what's in store on the next episode, which is very soon! On Total….Drama…..Across the Multiverse!"
A/N: And with that, Hailey is this season's Total Drama Skatoony champ! Next chapter will be double elimination to make up for the fact that there was no elimination here. I also tried to describe the drawings as best as I could here. Not sure if I've mentioned it before, but I am not an art person by any means, so extra details to describe pictures, paintings, etc. is not my forte lol.
Not much else to say other than see you on the next episode!
