"Last time on Total Drama Across the Multiverse. It was now time for the contestants to cause a racket on school grounds. The school Echizen goes to to be exact."
Footage of the contestants stepping foot on the tennis court on Seishun Academy in Tokyo, Japan was shown.
"And from what the Seigaku team promised, things would be a lot more tame compared to some of the last challenges. And from the start, that looked to be true."
Footage of the badminton game was shown before it was revealed to have been a warm-up game and would not count towards team standing.
"That is, until we got to the second tennis/ping pong match with a ping pong paddle and ball on a large court between Blaze and Echizen. And it was an intense match. Balls were split and dented. And apparently, even in this world, the guys here have abilities. Well, we kinda already knew Echizen was out of the ordinary already but this match just even further confirmed it. Hence the only reason why he'd probably even have a chance at beating Blaze, let alone lasting for as long as he did."
Footage of the match between Blaze and Echizen was shown.
"After that intense match, with Echizen coming out on top, the other matches, while not as crazy, were still out of the ordinary for tennis matches thanks to some of the abilities of the contestants. And what would all of that culminate to? A tie in the first game."
Footage of all the other matches, from Rex against Randy and Jenny to Kise against Aomine was shown.
"And what would the intense second and last game be to top things off? Shuffleboarding. Yes. You heard correctly. Shuffleboarding. And no, I had no say in what happened in this challenge. The Seigaku team chose all of that. All I said was for it to be something entertaining. And somehow, this was, funny enough. So, thanks Fuji for picking this as the second game. Sure, we could talk about who won, but why do that when the highlight would be whoever got last place as they'd be forced to drink Inui's juice. And that unlucky team being the Rats."
Footage of the shuffleboarding game taking place was shown.
"Things started off okay with it, until Julie, the first losing contestant forced to drink it, felt the adverse affects. Turns out, Ryoma was right about his warnings. So, we had to speed things up a bit with the elimination. And that unlucky person to go next? Dawn. Hey, at the very least, it wasn't because of a fake immunity idol. And, from the looks of things, she definitely was able to get through to getting Albedo to be better. All in all, her sendoff seemed to be a lot better compared to last time."
Footage of Dawn's elimination was shown.

Albedo was sitting all by his lonesome outside on the island awaiting for the next challenge to start. Which, for some reason, seemed to have been taking a lot longer compared to all of the other times when it seemed as if it was either out of nowhere, or was at a reasonable time.
And it was starting to get to him. "What is taking so long?" He said aloud, more to himself than anyone else. Not like anyone else was around in the first place. He got up, his intentions already planned out.
Bennett, meanwhile, had just landed back on the ground after flying, with the assistance of Becky B.
"That was about 5 minutes. 5 minutes and 4 seconds to be exact. Not too bad." She said to him after he caught his breath, helmet now off. He was currently in the suit that he and Cicini had made together.
"Yeah but, it could be better." Young Bennett said after getting time to breathing normally.
"You two! What is taking so long with the challenge!?" Albedo asked, walking up to the two.
"Excuse me?" Becky B. asked, confused.
"Let me repeat myself-"
"No, I heard what you said. I have super hearing. I'm just confused as to why you would just ask that out of nowhere."
"It is not out of nowhere. This is taking absolutely too long!"
"Uh, it's only been 27 minutes."
"28 now." Young Bennett added.
"And you don't see a problem with that?" Albedo asked.
"Uh, no? Do you?"
"Yes!"
"It's been a lot longer than this. It would make a lot more sense if you had a problem with it if that were the case." Becky asked.
"Why is it taking almost half an hour?"
"Because people need time to eat this subpar food, let alone recover from eating it?"
"I suppose that is a valid reason."
"Seriously though, if you want to ask anyone that, it should probably be Chris. Or Chef, Doyle and Heloise." Young Bennett said.
"Not like those four are ever around outside of when the challenge comes."
"Actually, Doyle and Heloise are around. Sometimes. In fact, I think they're here now with some of the others here." Becky said.
"Then where are they?"
"Uh, I think they're playing games or something. I wasn't really paying attention. I just happened to see them while passing by. I still don't understand why you're so impatient all of a sudden."
"If your time is accurate, then I am unsure myself. I just know that I'd like for this challenge to start." Albedo said before leaving.
"What's up with him?" Young Bennett asked.
"No clue." Becky B. said, shrugging.
***Confessional***
Becky B.(Radical Rats):
"Seriously though, I understand he's an alien and all, but I think even he should know that there needs to be enough time to recover from eating these awful meals. And it's not like he hasn't had any complaints about it before. None of this makes sense. Maybe I should make this a personal project of mine! Figure out why Albedo is being so impatient all of a sudden!"
"Personal project? That's just asking a question." The WordGirl Narrator said.
"Not the same thing!"
"Do I have to tell you what the definition of a project is?"
Becky sighed. "No I got it. An individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully planned to achieve a particular aim. A specific plan or design." After defining this, she comes to a realization. "See? That just proves my point! I have a specific plan in mind. You know what? I've been here long enough."
She walks out of the confessional.
"Sounds to me like she's just bored. Just my two cents." The Narrator said.

Elsewhere, the UNO tournament from days ago continued. The final five yet to get two losses to eliminate them from the game being Bakura, Akashi, Reagan, Launch and Bobo. Bakura and Akashi were the closest ones to winning, the former having two cards left and the latter having three.
Bobo looked over at his opponents as he drew a card, trying to keep a poker face.
"Go ahead." Bobo said to Launch, deciding not to play a card, even though he had a couple he could play.
"I know you're hidin' somethin'. Which is exactly why I'm not gonna be the one to pay for it." Launch, as her bad personality, said, using a blue reverse to send things back to Bobo.
"You know what? I'm gonna pay ya forward. Hey red eyes, take this!" Bobo said, before putting down a draw two card.
"I hate to disappoint you, but I won't be the one to take this penalty." Akashi said before putting down his own draw two. His being blue as well. The penalty fell on Reagan.
"I hate you guys." She said before begrudgingly drawing the four cards.
"Hate's a very strong term you know." Doyle said, watching the game.
"Oh shut up. You know I don't mean that literally."
"I know, I know. Just messin with ya."
"Well it's kinda distracting. Chris doesn't have anything for you to do?" She asked, playing a skip to skip Bakura's turn.
"Nope. Not at the moment. Hence why I'm here and Heloise is playing games with Toxsa, Louie and Todd."
"It's too bad you had other things to do days before. Maybe you could have joined in." Bakura said to Doyle.
"Yeah but, gotta do what you gotta do." Doyle replied, shrugging.
"Hey, while you're here, think you can give us a hint on what the next challenge will be?" Reagan asked.
"Nope."
"No as in you don't know, or no as in no, you're not telling me?"
"No as in no I'm not telling you."
"Can you at least tell us if it'll be crazy?"
"Woman, basically every challenge has been like that. The only reason shuffleboarding wasn't like that is because Fuji wanted to make sure it was tame." Bobo said.
"Come on, please?" She pleaded, pushing back a lock of hair as she did.
Doyle raises a finger and inhales as if he was shocked before saying, "No."
"Darn it, I thought I had you for a second."
"Cute try though."
Reagan rolled her eyes. "Whatever. And what the heck does 'cute try' even mean?"
"It means it was pretty cute, but not enough to make me say anything. Too strong-willed for that."
"Hey! You gonna flirt or you gonna play!? It's your turn!" Launch called out impatiently as things had circles back to Reagan.
"See what I mean? J-just get outta here! Shoo! You're distracting me!" Reagan said to Doyle before turning to the others. "And we are not flirting!"
Bobo just gave her a look.
"Whatever you say. Just play ya darn card already." Launch said.
She put down a wild card. "Why? Because I'm not dealing with whatever the hell's going on. Red."
"Hmm…" Bakura said, thinking, now that it was his turn again. He chooses to play a red 2.
As the game progressed, Chris and Chef eventually showed up.
"Sup guys. How's that tournament lookin'?" Chris asked.
"This is the last game. Can we at least finish? Please?" Reagan asked.
"You're fighting an uphill battle when it comes to production time. But… I guess I can figure something out since it is the last game. Or, the editing team will. This is what they're paid for anyway. Five minutes. I'm not gonna stretch it more than that."
"Thanks."
"Don't mention it. Just make it quick."
"Already on it." Doyle said before starting a timer.
When the game ended, Bakura was the winner, with Akashi being second with one card remaining. Launch was third.
"Looks like I won." Bakura said, a cheerful look on his face.
"Wow. That is the most polarizing face and reaction to winning I've seen." Chef said.
"I'm happy. Honest. Perhaps Joey's reaction would be the one you're looking for."
"Oh yeah. I remember that weird chin thing he did. A lot funnier than you think looking back." Doyle said.
"Weird chin thing? Define weird?" Reagan asked.
"Oh yeah, you guys weren't here. I'll show it to you guys sometime today or tomorrow. For now, we gotta get goin'."

Reagan(Wave Breakers):
"You know? Chris can be a good guy when he tries. I'm not telling him that directly because then he'll just use that as ammo to stroke his ego. And I'm not about to hear that."

After being called on, everyone was brought to the center of the island.
"Good afternoon guys! Who's ready for a classic game today?" Chris asked.
"Classic game? You mean a reused challenge from a previous season?" Rally asked.
"No. This one's completely new. Never been done before in previous seasons, surprisingly enough."
"Previous seasons as in like here or multiverse?" Morty asked.
"Just here. I have no clue about other universes. May be something I'll check up on just out of curiosity. If I remember. But anyways, you're gonna be playing the classic game of musical chairs!"
"Musical chairs? That's actually a sick idea. You really haven't done that before?" Zee asked.
"Nope. Like I said, I'm just as surprised as you. Anyways, for those of you that have never played it before, here's how this is going to work. There will be a certain number of chairs and players. There will always be one less chair than players. We're gonna play some music. Your job is to be in a chair the moment the music stops. If you're not, you're out. We're gonna keep doing this for multiple rounds until two teams run out of players. The last team standing wins the challenge. And that's pretty much it. Any questions?"
"Exactly how many people are going to be playing?" Sophie asked.
"Nine should be good. So three from each team."
"You sound very unsure about that. Did you think of this last minute?" Becky B. asked.
"Yeah. I was kinda debating on whether I wanted twelve or nine."
"Can we use abilities?"
"Do you see these chairs? No!" Chris said as wooden chairs were brought in by Doyle and Heloise.
"Not our fault you decided to be cheap." Yang said.
"Again, this is musical chairs. You really think I'm gonna go all in for chairs for a game like this? Okay, go ahead and make your picks. I'll give you about, ehhhhh two minutes. Sound good?"
"Pick me! I was born to dance!" May said proudly.
"Uh, you don't have to dance." Kise said.
"You don't have to, but that doesn't mean I can't."
"Be my guest. This challenge is not for me." Rally said.
"Come on, you heard Kise. Have some fun."
"Sorry, not changing my mind on this one. I'll have fun in other ways. Like racing. Or shooting. Or heck, even the movie thing. That was actually pretty good."
"By the way, how did it feel to play the role of an assassin?" Becky F. asked.
"A little odd at first, being on the other side of things. But, I'll just leave it at 'it was quite a unique experience'."

Becky F.(Radical Rats):
"Trying to avoid getting clipped out of context. Some might say that's thinking too much or being paranoid. Rally would say that's called 'staying prepared'. When she's really tired, you can draw all over her face and nothing will happen to you. Touch the gun under her pillow and she'll immediately try to blow your head off with it as if she wasn't hibernating a second ago. How do I know? Personal experience from both. Thank goodness she recognized it was me before she pulled the trigger."
"Why would I do something like that to tempt her? I just needed gas money. Don't judge me! I paid all my cash for Minnie May's L.A. trip prior! I had nothing you hear me!? NOTHING! So excuse me for asking for money just to get back home! Besides, she owed me anyway. You think I'm a cheapskate? How many 'friendship' IOUs and discounts has she asked me to redeem for info? I'll leave that up to your imagination."

"Musical chairs? Piece of cake." Louie said to the rest of his team.
"So easy, even a-" Bachira started before Bobo interrupted him.
"Monkey can do it. Like I haven't heard that joke a thousand times before." Bobo said.
"I suppose I could give this simple game a try since I wasn't a participant in the last one." Sebastian said.
"Good. I was hoping for a good running mate." Eliza said.
"Mates." Sly corrected. "Hey Bren, wanna give it a go?"
"Wait, why me?" Bren asked, caught off guard by the raccoon's sudden offer.
"Why not?"
"It's an easy game. You just go around the cha-" Todd started before Bren cut him off.
"I know how the game works. I just didn't expect me to get a nod out of everyone else on this team."
"If you're not comfortable, I can switch places with you." Ruby offered.
"No! No! Nope! I'm good!" Bren said, giving a thumbs up. "Like you guys said, this should be easy. It's just musical chairs." He added, shrugging.

"As much as I don't like to be pushed into challenges out of the blue, I wouldn't accept it if I didn't think I couldn't do it. Besides, what would I look like to the rest of the team if I cowered out of a hopefully easy challenge like this? I say hopefully because, I hate to say it, I said it was easy and that doesn't always turn out well. Not to mention, this is Chris we're talking about. So double the odds against me here."

"I just realized something. I forgot my core at home! I just gotta hope mom and dad don't find it. Especially dad. And it's not for the reason you think."

"I hope you don't think I'm forcing you to do it, because I'm not. You don't have to do something you don't want to-" Sly started saying to Bren before the Monsuno user put a hand in front of his face.
"Nuh uh! You're not gonna try to pull that one on me! If I said I could do it, I said I could do it! Word of advice, I know you didn't mean anything by it but don't do that. I hate it when people do that."
"Right. I'll make sure to remember that next time. Sorry."
Bren shooed off the apology. "It's fine. Heck, I already put it in the back of my mind! Look!" He said before making gestures as if he actually did that, only causing Sly to shake his head at his cheesy joke.
"Oh yeah! Born to dance!" Julie called out.
"You realize we probably won't be dancing, right?" Kageyama asked.
"I'm sure that's a godsend for you." Tsukishima said to him.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
"I'll let you figure it ou-"
"He's saying you can't dance." Miyuki said, causing the blocker to sigh at the fact that he had to ruin it.
"Subtle insults huh? Why don't you say them to my face? Like a man!" Kageyama yelled at Tsukishima.
"I literally did that. Do you not know what that expression means?" Tsukishima said.
"I know what it means!"
"Look, we don't have time for this. I'm gonna close my eyes and point to someone. And when I do, they're going up." Reagan said.
"What? That is the dumbest thing I've ever-" Tsukishima started before Dwayne was chosen.
"You got it." Dwayne said to her.
"You know what? Just leave me out of this. That's all I ask."
Randy was also chosen.
"Sweet." Randy commented before going alongside his two teammates.
"Thank you." The blocker said, relieved that he wasn't chosen.
The Rats had chosen May, Blaze and Monta.

"The shrimp was adamant about wanting to try again." Hiruma said before suddenly closing in on the camera and yelled, "SO WHY NOT NOW!?"

The contestants were all lined up in a circle around the chairs.
"All right, let's get started. Ready Chef?" Chris asked. He gave a thumbs up, hand on music player. "Ready Heloise?"
"Ready as I'll ever be I guess." She said, shrugging.
"Wait, ready for-" Bren started before all nine were suddenly zapped.
"I knew it! I knew there was going to be something with this challenge! Question now is, what is it?" He said before touching his clothes, his face and arms to try to figure out what exactly Chris did. And he immediately noticed that his clothes were completely different. "Okay Chris, what did you do?"
"Just gave you guys a makeover." Chris said.
"A makeover that I cannot say I am fond of." Sebastian said, frowning as he and most of the others were wearing jeans and outfits that made them look as if they were in the wrong time period. Even their hairstyles were different.
"Well I for one love it!" May exclaimed, already pulling out a mirror to look at her new hairstyle as well.
"Gotta admit, this is….. odd." Dwayne said, unsure if he should feel good about the new getup or not. And the fact that he actually has more hair now.
"Chris, why the heck do they look like something straight out of a time capsule?" Reagan asked.
"The 80s to be exact. Some of you might know Marty McFly from-"
"THE BACK TO THE FUTURE MOVIES! YES!" Eijun yelled out.
Chris was a bit caught off guard from the enthusiastic yell but wasn't going to let it bother him too much. "Yeah, those. He-"
"Appearing as a guest here? Or is this some sort of challenge rel-"
"No and no. He's coming back in the island segment to compete, remember? Now, if you would kindly calm yourself and stop interrupting me with your loud yelling?"
"Sorry."
"As I was saying, even if you aren't familiar with him or the movies that's fine too. He competed in Multiverse Edition and is coming back here. Like your clothes and hairstyles now, he's straight from the 80s. Thought I'd do this just to have things go along with the theme. Sound good?"
"Far out." May replied.
"Please stop." Rally and Becky said simultaneously.
"Actually, get ready to start! In 3…..2…1!" Chris exclaimed before Chef started the song.
"One more thing, if you dance, try not to hit the chairs. You still have to go around them so keep that in mind." Chris quickly added before the song began to actually play.

Surprisingly, everyone danced, including a still sour Sebastian, taking Eliza's hand. May, Bren and Monta all did the same thing with one another as well, with May being the catalyst out of the three to do so. Bren, reluctant at first, decided to go with the crowd, resulting in him showing off his terrible dance moves.

When he did, Eliza blocked the path of May and Monta to the chairs when she twirled, knocking the former down but forcing the latter to actually jump over her head to get to a chair, stepping on her in the process, which admittedly caught her off guard, and annoyed her after that surprise wore off.
"May, you're out!" Chris announced.
"Shucks. Well that stinks." She said before returning to the rest of her team.

"Sucks to be the first one out. Happy for Monta though."

"Born to dance huh?" Rally said to May.
"What? You gotta admit those were some pretty good moves. And plus, I get to keep these new threads. So that's a-" May was immediately zapped, reverting her back to normal. "Never mind." She said, disappointed.
"A good start so far. Song's from Kid 'N Play, a hip hop duo from New York. Real popular in the late 80s and early 90s. Heck, this song was used in one of the movies they starred in, House Party 2.Hopefully that clears things up before anyone wonders why this song in particular was chosen."
"That and there's the hidden theme of how harmless this challenge is promising to be, hence the lyrics of the song." Becky B. said.
"Nerd!" Todd called out.
"Actually, she's right. Good job on catching that. Anyways, Todd, Isagi, fill in for Sebastian and Eliza. Kurt, fill in for Blaze. And Myron, fill in for Julie. Everyone else, stay put."
"So we're doing the rotating thing like the dance challenge huh?" Tangle asked.
"Uh, I wouldn't consider this to be the same thing. But, I guess somewhat?" Chris said, shrugging.
"Ha. And by the way, being called that only reinforces how great my knowledge is. So think about that before you call me that again." Becky B. called out to Todd.
"You wouldn't say that to a bully that's for sure."
"Bullies?" Becky repeated before laughing out loud.
"Hey! That wasn't supposed to be funny!"
"Todd, I'm a superhero. You think bullies could do anything to me if they actually tried to?"
"Uh, yes? Unless you want to reveal your identity to everyone."
"Oh. Well shoot! I didn't think about that."
"Heck, I bet a bunch of the people where you're from think you're annoying. With all your dumb definitions and stuff."
"Actually many people find that helpful. And by the way, for the most part, I only do that when someone asks."

"I was only gonna say bull-oney. I knew I was going to get someone with that."

Myron's cheeks puffed up in anger as they began to turn red as well. He began to reluctantly show off his dance moves to the multiverse. And they were… not good.

"Evil!" A rather obese, tall man with a small bald head, a pinkish nose and a bushy mustache called out, appearing out of nowhere on some type of round aircraft and had taken all of the chairs. And the 8 participants.
He had disproportionately thin arms and legs and wore tinted glasses and green-lensed goggles and a red coat with two metal buttons on both sides of the chest in gold. The buttons had white straps running across the coat's sides and he also wore white cuffless gloves and a pair of black pants and matching boots.
"What the heck's going on?" Morty said.
"Eggman!" Blaze and all three Diamond Cutters said simultaneously, immediately recognizing the man.
"That's my name, don't wear it out!" He said before disappearing as quick as he came via a portal.
"He just took the chairs and the contestants! We've got to stop him!" Lanolin called out.
"You realize how crazy that sounds out of context?" Tangle joked.
"This is no time for jokes! We need to get Eggman out of here now!"
"If this guy's bad news, we'll help." Natsu said, already excited for a battle.
"Hey, the game's still going on. If they want to get out of this, they'll do it themselves. And besides, I don't trust any of you to not do anything with the chairs if you do get sent in." Chris said.
"Try something with them? Like what? They're chairs." Weiss said.
"He means cheating." Yang said.
"Oh."
"That still doesn't justify anything. Other than Myron and Randy, they're powerless!" Rei called out.
"And yet they've gotten this far. They'll be fine." Chris said before Chef showed up with a TV to show them. "Take a look."
Green Hills, Montana(Sonic Movies)
The eight were seen desperately running for their lives across a city as Eggman began maniacally firing at them with weapons.
"Myron, use your machine! Do something! You're pretty much the only one here that can!" Randy called out as they continued to run across the city, trying to dodge the missiles.
"I can't! He took it when he grabbed me!" Myron called out, going around a fire hydrant.
"Oh yeah, way to ignore me like I don't exist!" Bren called out.
"Then why, pray tell, aren't you doing something!?" Randy called out.
"I don't have my Monsuno either!"
"Oh wow. Thanks for nothing Sheldon junior!" Todd yelled.
"Are we really arguing when we're being chased by a guy shooting at us!?" Kurt said.
"Now the rest of the multiverse will see eggsactly what I'm made of! Remember, you all caused this for snubbing me! Not just here, but across several multiverses!" Eggman called out.

Monta, still running for his life like the others, jumped and rolled into a ball, akin to Sonic, something that Eggman immediately noticed when he tried to avoid a missile, but still was caught in the explosion regardless.
Myron was knocked down from another explosion, with Isagi barely dodging said explosion. He saw Myron on the ground, helpless before he sprinted to help him up.
"Come on! Unless you want to die, GET UP!" Isagi yelled, a completely different look on his face than before.
"He's doing all this just because he was snubbed!?" Emma said in disbelief with Randy sharing those sentiments.
"This is like, next levels of petty. You're willing to kill kids just because you couldn't get on a game show!?" Randy called out, swinging on a lamp post.
"Actually I'm not a kid." Kurt said.
"Neither am I." Dwayme said.
"That still doesn't make it any better." Randy said.
"Chris, I don't think you understand how dangerous Eggman is. He could kill them!" Lanolin said.
"Again, they've gotten this far. And considering what the storm realm was, Kurt, and all the others have been through things that probably could have seriously injured or killed them." Chris said. "But hold on a sec, I'll see if I can get a portal to get them out."
"I've been trying to destroy Sonic for years. And it's not like some kids haveb't tried to get me either. So I don't care! Get ready to be schooled!" Eggman called out to the 8 before shooting machine guns at them from the aircraft.

"There's the portal!" Kurt called out.
They all ran to the portal where the chairs were falling into after rolling across the ground.
When they came back in, everyone but Myron was in a chair. Even with Todd being slower than Myron.
"What the hell was that Todd!? Did you not want to win or something!?" Isagi said, getting in his face and grabbing him by his shirt.
"I was tired man! Calm down!" Todd cried out.
"Tired from doing basically nothing at all."
"Why the heck don't you yell at Bachira like this? Oh I know, it's because he's your friend and I'm not! What kind of bias is that? At least with Skipper, he yells at everyone."
"That I do. And I'm gonna chew you out when he's done with you!" Skipper said.
"I don't have to say anything to Bachira, at least for the most part because he at least tries. You, for like a majority of the challenges you've been in, don't. And that's what I have a problem with."
"I won us a challenge and prevented an elimination!"
"I'll give you credit for those. But we're talking about now. And right now, you looked like you didn't want to win. There's a difference between thinking smart and being lazy."
"Look, he's still in now. Let's just move on to the next game alright?" Riley said.
"For your sake, he better try harder the next game. Or there might not be a 'move on' after today, for the both of you!" Skipper said, giving Riley a death stare and pointing at her.
"Thanks. If only you would have let me get a spot too." Myron said to Isagi.
"Huh? What are you- oh that. No problem. But word of advice, asking nicely's not gonna help you." Isagi said to him, calming down.

"I absolutely want to win. Like I said, that's what Blue Lock sent me here to do. Of course, my parents having that money too would be nice. And I want to myself. Trust me, I have my own motivation to win too. Not just because Blue Lock wants me to. But wanting to win is not the same thing as letting people get hurt or die. I'm competitive. Not heartless."

Now, seven remained. Eggman also appeared not long after through a portal.
"Alright. So before we start, yes, he didn't make the cut this season. But, you got one thing wrong. You were not snubbed from every season." Chris said.
"You mean that poor excuse in that weird voting season? That doesn't count!" Eggman said.
"No, I mean another one." Chris said.
"Which one?"
"Go find out yourself. We've gotta get going. Doctor, I gave you your solo and your shot at the contestants. Literally. And now, you gotta go."
"Fine. Just know that I will check to see if you're telling the truth Chris. And if they're just as much of a joke as that other one, I will be back! And next time, the people here left will have more than just a couple scrapes or bruises!" Eggman said before getting ready to leave. "And by the way, Blaze and you three. I wish you fare as well as Sonic."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Tangle asked.
"That I want you to win. It means I hope you lose you moron! You really think I want you to win? He didn't win in the other seasons he was in like the Everything stories! Even with Ruby as his girlfriend! Yes, that one! And yes, I spoiled! I am that evil!" Eggman said before laughing as he went through the portal.
"Wait, WHAT!?" Tangle, Ruby and several others said out loud after hearing this info.
"Alright, screw spoilers, Chris, is that true?" Yang asked.
"Yep. Can confirm. All of that's true." Chris said.
"Wow. What kind of a person do you have to be to do heavy spoiler like that?" Becky B. said.
"An evil one. I'm not surprised he'd do something like that." Tangle said.
"I wouldn't exactly call that the worst thing he's done but, I can see why people wouldn't like him doing that." Lanolin said.
"Well duh. But there's just things you don't do out of common courtesy. Like spoiling shows. And this is coming from a person that hasn't made the best decisions in life." Old Bennett said.
"What kind of decisions?" Tangle asked.
"Ones bad enough that he went through all this effort to come back here." Rick said.
"Nothing for any of you to be concerned about. Just know that none of them were as bad as what you're describing Eggman as." Old Bennett said.
"Rick's point still stands, can't believe I'm agreeing with him on something. And before you say 'it's none of your business', you don't get to say that, put a bit of it out there and get mad when people ask questions." Reagan said.
"I'll remember that, when you inevitably do the same thing. If you haven't already." Old Bennett said.
"Guys, please. Chris, can we get to the next song?" Morty asked.
"You got it." Chris said.
"Wait, not so fast. Another thing. What else is in this challenge? Because clearly that first song was misleading." Reagan asked.
"Different things. Wouldn't want to spoil it. Just consider what just happened a wake-up call. Things won't be as easy as the first round made it seem."

"You know, that older Bennett never actually talked about why he's back here helping his younger self. At least, he wasn't specific about it. But, I don't wanna pry in. If he decides to say something about it, he'll do it. There's just some things that people are really private about, you know?"
"Also, for those to be some cheap chairs, they sure could take a beating. Ten bucks says Chris somehow found a way to lie about the chairs too."

"Hopefully this remixed solo will get you back in the spirits to persevere. You can do it!" Chris called out before they were zapped again. While their clothes returned to normal, their hair was styled similar to Aomine's. They were also, interestingly enough, all in the Zone.

As another short instrumental period plays, the contestants were seen running across a set on the film lot that was littered with traps. And Monta was the indicator that there was one as he was sent flying after unknowingly stepping on a spring trap.

"I'll do more than just keep up!" Isagi said before catching Dwayne off guard with how quickly he started to create a gap between him.

Isagi begins to catch up to Randy.
"Hey Randy! You didn't think it would be that easy did you!?" Isagi called out.
"Uh, maybe?" Randy responded.
"Well I hate to disa-" Isagi started before stopping, his facial expression changing suddenly to one of terror. He felt someone coming up. And that someone being Monta. Like, fittingly for the song, an unstoppable raging bull.
"One behind. One in front. Worst place you can be. Like a middle child." Isagi thought.
When he went back to focusing on Randy, he was already gaining even more distance from him. And Monta wasn't slowing down either.
"Exactly why I said this is the worst." Isagi thought. "Unfortunately, nothing's going to change. So I have to MAKE things change!"
Thanks to the Zone also widening his spatial awareness, he saw an alternate route that he could take. Unfortunately, that wouldn't matter as he had just seen Randy take the first seat and just heard an explosion. And it wasn't coming from Monta. It was from Todd.
"DAMN IT!" Isagi yelled out as the music stopped.
And things looked to only get worse before they got better for him as it looked as if he was about to get passed again.
"No way!" He immediately cut off Monta's path, successfully predicting where he was going to go. The problem was, that wasn't going to be enough to make him stop as he actually tried going through Isagi's legs, which only made the Blue Lock player use said legs to try and trip him up, which also failed as he jumped over it.
"Back off!" Isagi said to him.
"NEVER!" Monta called out.
"YOU LITTLE S[CENSORED]!"
Both continued to fight for position, somehow still avoiding the traps as well. When they got to the chairs, both nearly hurt themselves trying to get to the same one before they started to think and get their own.
Dwayne and Kurt were the next ones to get a seat. While Bren, taking his time, got the last one.
Chris, and everyone else, appeared through a portal.
"Alright, looks like Todd's out. I'll be sure to tell him that when he gets here. Until then, let's move on to the next round." Chris said.
"Jeez Isagi. You really had to go that far?" Rex asked.
"What? He really was being a pain." Isagi said.
"Perhaps this is Isagi's competitive nature?" Penny proposed.
"One minute he's nice. The next he's doing this. Anything we need to know about?" Adrien asked.
"No. That's a weird question to ask out of nowhere." Isagi replied.
"Sorry. Just checking."
"Yeah well someone needs to check on Todd. Trap or not he should have been back by now."
"If he's not back in like the next minute I'll send Doyle to go find him. But seriously, we need to move on. Rick, take Kurt's place. You're gonna pair up with Bennett. Technically the Old Bennett is needed, but since he can't actually touch anything, this is gonna have to do. Murasakibara, take Monta's place. You're gonna pair up with Zee. Yang, you're gonna take Isagi's spot and pair up with Ben." Chris said.
"Okay, this has to be intentional. Why are you pairing us up like this?" Yang asked.
"Hush for like under a minute and you'll find out. Bren's spot's gonna be taken by Octavia and Mayuzumi. Diego and Libby are gonna take Randy's spot. And Dan's gonna take Dwayne's spot. He's gonna pair up with Urien."
"I think the others make sense. But I don't get that last one." Ruby said.
"Yeah, you've got some explaining to do Chris." Dan said before two familiar dings were heard along with them being zapped. Their shirts changed. One person from each pair had "Fri-" while the other person had "-end". They also had helmets over their heads.
"Chris!" Dan yelled out.
"This is a joke. Right?" Octavia said, looking at her shirt having the "Fri-" part on it.
"Unfortunately not." Mayuzumi said.
"What is this!? Explain yourself! NOW!" Urien yelled.
"Chris, I'm sorry, I thought this was already made clear. But apparently it wasn't. So let me put it to you in the most straightforward way possible: Rick and I are not friends!" Old Bennett said.
"Once in a blue moon, I actually agree." Rick said.
"Only thing I'm gonna explain, is that you all need to grab ahold of each other's hands and get in that portal and sing or else. If no one wins today, all of you have to send someone home." Chris said.
"Fine." Urien, Old Bennett and Dan all said simultaneously.
"Check out these shirts. Murasakibara, could you stand right next to me?" Zee asked.
"They're alright. Nothin' really special about 'em." Murasakibara said while doing just that, to connect the words together. "Regardless though, I really don't wanna sing."
"If you don't, both you and your partner are automatically eliminated from the challenge." Chris said.
"Yeah, like I'm gonna fall for that. I'm not stupid. You're not gettin' me to sing. I don't care what kinda stuff you try to say to get me to. I'm not doing it."
"I'm serious. You don't do it, you're automatically eliminated from this challenge. And that means your team will only be one loss away from last place."
"Murasakibara, unless you want to have a guaranteed vote for this challenge, do it." Lanolin ordered.
"I don't know, Murasakibaracchi's got a point. What if he's just saying that?" Kise said.
"And what if he's serious? We're not taking that risk. And I won't tell him that again."
"Alright, alright. Fine. Zee, let's go. Wanna get this over with…." Murasakibara said.
"Good. Now, grab ahold of each other's hands now." Chris said. You can do shoulders if you'd like to. Just make sure you do either one until you get to a certain point in the song. And then after that, make sure you're doing the same thing when you come back before sitting in a chair. Otherwise, it won't count."
All the pairs did either of the choices with Urien and Dan grabbing a hold of each other's shoulders begrudgingly, Murasakibara and Zee doing the same thing, and Bennett and Rick also doing this.

As they made their way to the end, the pairs spun each other around. Dan and Urien's path was being blocked by Zee, who was inadvertently hitting them with the bill of his cap as Muraskibara spun him around.
"Nuisance! Move!" Urien said.
"What was that?" Zee asked, not hearing him.
"He said, move!" Dan said, kicking him with Urien, when he got the chance, hitting him too, with one of the hits knocking him out of Murasakibara's hands and causing him to fall on the ground.
"Zee!" Young Bennett called out.
"Good riddance." Urien said before he and Dan were blocked by Murasakibara, with him picking up Dan by the arm and unexpectedly knocking down Urien who ran into him.
"Let…. me go!" Dan yelled.
"The fact that you're doing all of that over something as dumb as this is starting to get annoying."
"What do you want me to do? You were blocking the way!"
"Like I already said, this whole thing is dumb. And the fact that you're trying hard like this is even dumber."
"Oh yeah, like I should take notes in effort from mister slouch himself!" Dan said before Urien tackled Murasakibara out of the way.
"Well? What are you waiting for? The pair must be together to advance!" Urien said impatiently.
"Oh. For a second, I thought you were gonna ask for a thank you." Dan said before they went to the last remaining seat. Though they would be denied by Murasakibara trucking Dan, allowing him and Zee to take the last seat.
The pairs returned to the film lot.
"Dan and Urien, you're out!" Chris announced.
"WHAAAT!?" Urien yelled out, balling his fists in anger. Saying he wasn't happy was an understatement.
"How!? Murasakibara literally barreled me out of the way!" Dan protested.
"Oh yeah that's rich coming from the person that tried to move Zee out of the way." Young Bennett said.
"Nice job." Becky F. said to Murasakibara.
"Whatever. Hey Zee, is it alright if I have one of your sodas?" Murasakibara said.
"Sure man." He hands him a soda.
"Thanks." Murasakibara said, before proceeding to open and drink some of it.
"What happened to not wanting to do this?" Kise asked him.
"What are you talkin' about? I still didn't."

"I'd be lying if I didn't say this, and what he did to Morty isn't alarming. And concerning. I was thinking of carrying him to the end since he's the least threatening out of the remaining Miracles. Hopefully I don't have to throw that strategy out the window."
"Why not do it with Huey or Todd even though they actually don't have abilities like the Miracles? Because even with that, I don't trust them at all. Their personalities could turn from annoying to dangerous quickly. Look at what happened to Karin and Chris just because they decided to find the most annoying, half-a[censored]ed way to play. Heck, those two basically robbed us and the other team of points in the Jeopardy challenge because of their antics. I won't do it yet, but eventually, I'm going to get Reimu to find a way to kick them out. Only reason I won't do it now is because of the fact that the other team is still a problem. "Alright, let's get on to the next round!" Chris said. "Now, you're gonna pair up again. Lotte and Morty, pair up. Mamori and Hiruma, same thing. Weiss and Aomine, pair up. Yang and Ben, stay put. Asta and Noelle you two are also pairing up."
"I'm guessing we're gonna have to hold hands again, right?" Morty asked, which immediately caused Lotte to look uneasy.
"Uh, not the entire time. But it's a good idea to stay close to each other if you wanna have the best shot at staying alive."
"Wonder what they're going to have us do now?" Asta said before they were zapped. Weiss, Lotte, Mamori, Noelle and Yang were in elaborate dresses. Hiruma, Morty, Asta, Aomine and Ben were all in a suit and tie. Each said suit and dress had colors that matched either their previous outfits or was color-coordinated with them somehow. With the exception of Lotte, Mamori, Hiruma and Morty's as the formers with light yellow, matching the same dress that she wore during Andrew's party while Morty wore a black suit. Hiruma wore a red suit while Mamori wore a white dress.
Asta suddenly grabbed ahold of Noelle's hand, surprising her.
"W-we don't have to hold hands all the time, didn't you hear him? And besides, the challenge hasn't even started yet." Noelle said.
"I should pull away but….. maybe I shouldn't?" She thought.
"I understand. But, we're the last hope for our team. We have to stay alive." Asta said, a determined look on his face.
"Yes. You're right. Sorry."
"Alright, Asta and Morty were ahead of the curve a bit, but yeah, you're gonna start by holding hands. Both partners must be in the same chair when the song stops or it won't count." Chris said.
"But how is that going to work? What do you want us to do, sit in their lap?" Aomine asked, sarcastically on the last part.
"Yes, actually. Or something close to it. Just make sure both of you are actually in the chair." This caused several of the ten to be surprised, moreso Weiss, Mamori, Lotte, Aomine and Noelle.
"Wait, wait, he was joking! You were joking, right?" Weiss said quickly.
"Sarcastic but sure." Aomine said, just as surprised, eyes widened.
"I-I don't know. You sure the chairs are gonna be able to fit us?" Morty asked.
"Wow, you just basically called Lotte fat." Aomine said, causing said girl to blush from embarrassment.
"No! What? That's not what I meant at all! I-i meant like width! So they won't tip over or break!"

"There's nothing you two should be concerned about. If anything, it should be me, and/or the chair that we'll be using." Hiruma said before Mamori grabbed him and violently shook him.

This caused several people to be caught off guard when it did.
Aomine and Asta had grabbed Weiss and Noelle respectively by their waist, causing them to yelp in surprise as they were pulled in to sit in their partner's lap, while Hiruma sat in Mamori's lap. Yang had tripped over Ben's leg while Lotte had tripped over her own and was about to fall two, had Morty not caught her mid-air as he was already in the chair.
"Don't worry, I got ya." He said to her as he pulled her closer, with her sitting up to help put less strain on his arms as she couldn't find the words to say anything afterwards, realizing how close she was to him.
"Close one huh?" Morty said to her, fittingly afterwards.
"Yeah. We really are close-" Lotte started, not fully comprehending what he was saying before snapping out of it when she heard Yang and Ben talking.
"Wow's right." Ben said in response to Yang. "I can't believe we got out just because you tripped. So much for me sitting in your lap."
"I got caught off guard okay? And by the way, what the heck was that song? 'I want you for the rest of my life'? Sounds like proposal lines." Yang said.
"Yeah, you got a lot of explainin' to do Chris." Aomine said.

The third was an elderly man that only had a tuft of hair on his head. He wore a black long-sleeved shirt.
"Eijun! How's it going?" The younger man exclaimed. "I would say I hope you're doing well, but from what we've seen from you so far, you're doing more than well!" He said before laughing.
"Let me just say that I am so proud of you and what you've done so far. Even if others think they're just small contributions, know that I don't. None of us do." The woman, Eijun's mother, said.
"That's right!" The man, Eijun's father said, giving a wide grin and a thumbs up.
"You better keep giving it your all too! No matter what challenge it is! Your team doesn't have to let you participate, so show your gratitude by playing hard!" Eijun's Grandfather, Eitoku said.
"And plus, girls love a hard worker." Eijun's father said, grinning as he said it.
"Make sure you introduce them to us! We'd love to see whoever you bring home!" His mother added before Eitoku got in front of the camera.
"GIRLS ARE NOT A PRIORITY! WHILE THAT WOULD BE NICE, YOU WENT WITH YOUR TEAMMATES TO COMPETE AND WIN! DON'T BE LIKE THAT BLONDE IDIOT! But, I expect you to know better than to do something as stupid as that. Of course… if you were to be that stupid…" Eitoku said before a menacing look appeared on his face as his pupils disappeared from his eyes as he raised his hand and looked at it, similar to what Eijun did to Lucy.
Eijun's mother quickly got in front of the screen herself. "We just want you to do your best. Win or lose, we'll be proud of you no matter what. We won't let anyone laugh at you if you do lose."
"That's right! And by the way, make sure you eat! From what I've seen, that host Maclean has been feeding everyone well consistently. If there's a problem, you can always call us and we'll get it resolved!"
"If you need some food for you or your teammates, you could always ask to stop by here and the farm. You're all welcome to whatever you need." His father said.
"Just don't eat everything! That food still has to be grown! And also, if you feel like you're about to fail or need help, don't hesitate to ask us or your teammates for help. This, like baseball, is a team effort! No one person can do everything and win everything! And don't forget that!"

"Yeah, after what Miyuki told me, it was either Dan or Urien. And I'm choosing Dan. On one hand, I kinda get how Dan feels about things bothering him. Some of them, like dust, seem way to petty and trivial but some of the others, I totally get why they'd get on his nerves. Because they'd probably get on my nerves too. But on the other, what is he going to do to really help us keep up with the rest of the teams? Let's face it, our numbers are dwindling. And we need all the strength we can get. I know the other teams are losing people too, but I feel like we've suffered the worst losses. Or at least that's what it seems like to me."

"Alright, votes are in, so let's get it going. Your prize for staying? Headphones or earbuds." Chris said.
"I call your name, you're safe. You don't, you're done." Chef said.
"Myron! You're safe! Earbuds or headphones?"
"Hmm, well, I already have earbuds. But I suppose I could give them to someone else." Myron said.
"Dude, get the headphones. Great for gaming." Toxsa said.
"Uhhh, I'm not too much of a gamer like you Toxsa. Sorry."
"Whaa? Seriously? Man…. It's like no one other than Randy here really plays. I mean there's Tsukishima but, he plays with Sucy and Sucy only I think."
"I play." Hinata spoke up.
"Okay. Anyone else?"
"You can talk about this later. I let it go on a bit, but it's starting to drag and cut into time. Chef, let's go." Chris said.
"Randy, you're also safe!" Chef called out.
"Sweet!" Randy exclaimed. "I'll take the headphones. How good's the sound on those?"
"Uh….." Chef started, unsure.
"Bluetooth, surround sound, no mic. Probably should have made that clear earlier. So to all the gamers on this team, sorry." Heloise said.
"Screw it, I'll still take em. Who doesn't like free stuff? And cool free stuff?" Randy said.
"Bakura, you're also safe!" Chef exclaimed.
"I mean, he didn't exactly do much to warrant him to be gone honestly. Just throwing that out there." Doyle said.
"Tell that to dragonfly jones." Zak said.
"That was a completely different situation. He sucked. I know some people might not like it, but I gotta say it." Kageyama said.
"I don't really care."
"Just saying that for the people that might actually be fans of him."

"You realize what you just said right?" Heloise asked.
"What? If people can be fans of Johnny, then people can be fans of him too."

"If anyone's actually a fan of him, I need you to come on the next aftermath and say it, send a message, anything. I'd love to see it." Heloise said to the audience.

"You'd look like a military sergeant and get to boss people around."

"Look, if you're not gonna go all in then don't say something like that ya coward."
"Again, no. The minute I say yes is the second some guy's going to decide to be funny and lie and say they're a fan."

"Ha! She admitted it! She's actually scared!" Zak said.
Heloise realized what she said. "Wait!" But it was too late and she facepalmed. "Laugh all you want. Who's getting a guaranteed pay again without having to make themselves look like idiots for more than 50 percent of the show? Certainly not you all."
"You know what? She's got a good point about the guaranteed pay actually." Dan said.
"Yep." Doyle said.
"So wait, how much does being an intern pay?" Scott asked.
"Kinda not something you ask an employee right in front of their employer." Hailey said.
"Yeah, should have waited on that." Reagan said.
"Whoops. Sorry. Just curious is all." Scott said.
"And with that I say, Chef, start it again." Chris said.
"All three of the Karasuno boys are safe!" Chef announced.
"Uh, I'll take the earbuds I guess. Even though I already have headphones." Kageyama said.
"Earbuds, please!" Hinata said.
"Earbuds." Tsukishima said.
"That reminds me, what kind of music do you guys listen to?" Hinata asked the other two.
"It's….. complicated." Tsukishima said.
"How is it complicated? Just name a genre dude." Toxsa said.
"What's your favorite game then?"
"Doomsploder 3. See how easy that was? I'm sure it'd be the same thing for music too."
"I'm gonna be honest, you seem like the type of person that only listens to game music." Doyle said to him.
"What? Games have some awesome music. Don't disrespect the medium like that."
"So that confirms it then."
"I mean, I'm not exactly a music type of person anyway."
"Kageyama? What about you?" Hinata asked.
"Uh…. can we get on with the elimination? Chris?" Kageyama quickly said.
"Sure thing. Asta and Noelle, you're also safe!" Chef said.
"They don't have games there. You might as well give them to someone else." Toxsa said to the pair.
"You know, I did not think the tech gap between some of these guys." Doyle said.
"And that's why you're not the only person Chris hired." Heloise said.
"Let someone else have them, as Toxsa suggested. I have no use for them." Noelle said.
"I already have earbuds actually. And I'm not really a headphone person. Unless they're smaller ones. Too bulky and they stand out too much." Fiona said.
"What? That is a dumb reason to not want headphones." Kaz said.
"Then you take them."
"I don't really want them either. Eijun, you have them."
"I'll take it! Free stuff!" Eijun exclaimed.
"Of course he'd take them." Noelle said.
"As long as it's useful, who just says no to free stuff?" Hanamiya said. "I certainly wouldn't."
"Again, I don't see the big fuss about this at all."
"Of course you wouldn't. You're royalty." Diego said. "No offense."
"I'll take the other pair. You think Kristine has earbuds?" Scott asked Hailey.
"Probably? I don't know." Hailey responded.
"Free stuff is free stuff. Oh wait! I could give them to my sister!"
"Next pair that's getting free stuff is Libby and Diego!" Chef announced.
"All right!" Diego said, taking the headphones while Libby took the earbuds.
"Dwayne and Julie are also safe!"
"Earbuds." Dwayne and Julie declared.
"Now we're down to the last two. Urien and Dan. The person that doesn't get free stuff walks away with nothing." Chef said.
"Eh, I'll probably just give them to Chris or something. Maybe he needs them." Dan said.
"That's assuming you're safe." Chris said.
"Then what are we waiting for the sun to set? Get on with it!"
"Agreed. Stop wasting time with trivial banter and announce who's leaving already!" Urien said impatiently.
"The final pair of earbuds or headphones goes to…"

"What? This has to be a joke! You guys would rather keep this psycho than me!?" Dan asked.
"You shouldn't have did that to Zee. If it wasn't for that, you might have stayed. Maybe we could have even won." Miyuki said to him.
"Urien did it too! What kind of dumb logic is that to use!?"
"You started it though." Hinata said.
"Wow. 'He started it'. That is the most idiotic-" Dan started before stopping himself. "You know what? Forget it. I'm out of here. I forgot, Johnny's still here, so-" Dan stopped himself again. "Chris! Open up the portal."
"Hold on, what were you about to say about Johnny? I don't see the issue here. He's been okay. So what's your problem with it?" Reagan asked.
Dan raised his hands in surrender. "Nothing. Nothing. Forget what I was about to say. As long as Urien doesn't win I don't care. Heck, I wouldn't have even been that upset if it wasn't for the fact that it was Urien that was kept in favor of me."
"Seriously though, what's your problem with him?" Kaz asked.
"It started way back in VR. Ever since then, I never liked the guy and I still don't. He's a psycho. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go home, eat a burger and go watch TV with Mr. Mumbles. Goodbye! At least until the next aftermath." Dan said, hands in his pockets before going in the portal.
"Well, that was….. interesting. The rest of you are safe. For now." Chris said as the portal closed before several others opened. "Remember, this is the last episode with some type of guaranteed musical. So for those of you that hate singing or musicals, audience and contestant alike, I'm sure this is a breath of fresh air for you."
"What do you mean guaranteed? That sounds like we're still going to be doing them sometimes." Zak asked.
"Yeah, sometimes. Survive till we get to Wawanakwa and you'll be completely in the clear."
"And that's….. how long away again?"
"Still need that number to drop some more. Not going to disclose more than that."
"That's sounds like a while. Woohoo. I'm so hyped for something probably 30 plus episodes away." Zak said sarcastically.
"Stop whining and go home."
"Fine."
As the rest went into the portal, Chris started the final remarks.
"And today marks the end of Dan's guaranteed second chance. Hope you enjoyed your ime here. Will Puss be next? Who knows. Find out on Total…Drama…. Across the Multiverse!"
A/N: And with this, Dan's second run ends. Hope he enjoys that burger. Also, add another cat lover to the list of people competing here. Don't know if I mentioned this already but I never realized how many people competing this season love cats. And then there's Midorima that hates them lol.
Next challenge is all about VAs. What contestants will get who's abilities? Or lack of? And how will they be used? Find out on the next chapter! Will also list some further challenges planned post-musical. From the beginning of when I started to think of challenges for this season I never planned for every multiversal challenge to have a musical as I feel like some of them just didn't have one that'd fit without taking away from the challenge itself.
