Also, one important thing to note: This story takes place after Turtles Forever and all other fanfics I've written about them for those that have never read them. Chris was on the island on his lonesome. But surprisingly, he was there at night for a change.
"Last time on Total Drama Across the Multiverse! Don't let people tell you that your voice can't be heard, because it can. Across the multiverse! Inspired by the fact that some of the cast members have similar sounding voices, we'd make a challenge out of just that. Where the teams would compete against one another with the same abilities and appearances of those that have similar sounding voices across the multiverse. With Empress of the Cabal Empire, Caiatl and Guardian and host of the Iron Banner, Lord Saladin also being here to watch, with the latter commentating."
Footage of the challenge being explained with Lord Saladin and Empress Caiatl introducing themselves to the cast was also shown.
"The challenge would be split into two games: The first would be a game of Rift, borrowed from Shaxx's Crucible, with a few new rules. And the second would be a battle in front of the Gods of Olympus, a battle that potentially would have happened in the finale of the last multiverse season, if it was chosen that is."
Footage of the challenge was shown.
"But, it wasn't so, here we are. And what did we get? Some pretty fun stuff. Johnny got to show off the power of the force. Adrien got to show off the power of the grid with his several ranger forms, Natsu got to feel what it's like to be Gray for a change, to an extent anyway, and Echizen got to pilot a mecha among some other things. Despite all of that, like I've said before, the biggest thing is who won. And today, it was the Rats, by the skin of their teeth. Literally. Lucy, as Squirrel Girl, was able to tap into her inner squirrel and use her teeth to hang on when Tsukishima knocked everyone, including himself out of the arena. Everyone but Lucy. Looking at that, I know that had to hurt. But hey, it's not the worst thing that's happened on this show. Or the worst thing that'll happen to her the longer she lasts."
Footage of Tsukishima sending everyone, including himself away via a typhoon was shown before it was shown afterwards that Lucy was able to survive by using her teeth to bite into a part of the structure, hanging on and allowing her team to run away with the win for the challenge of the day.,
"Speaking of lasting, she definitely outlasted Echizen, who was the next to go thanks to some headscratching decisions to basically allow Johnny to take the spark and score on one point, and then give Ayame the spark in another. He wasn't a hundred percent the blame for the loss, but doing that definitely didn't help his team win, or help his case on staying. Nor did denying it, claiming he didn't remember. But surprisingly, he handled the elimination a lot better than I expected him too. Didn't even look bummed out. Crazy."

"But oh well, scratch one more off the list. We've still got a ways to go until a winner's crowned this season though. But we'll be one step closer to finding out who it'll be, after today's episode of Total…..Drama….Across the Multiverse!"

"Trust me, this challenge works a lot better at night." Chris said.
"At 11:46?" Isagi added, sarcastically as he had just recently looked at his phone.
"Yep."
"Alright Chris, where's the haunted house? We've already seen this play out." Rick asked. "Maybe I should start drinking again too."
"We'd prefer it if you didn't." Lanolin said.
"Just like I'm sure everyone would prefer to be able to do nothing and earn money, but guess what, that's not how life works."
"Okay?"
"Point is, life doesn't give a damn about your preferences and neither do I."
"Are we really doing the haunted house challenge again?" Molly asked Chris.
"I hope not. Who the heck are they gonna replace me with?" Scratch asked.
"Maybe Billy and Spencer are back?"
"No and no. We're doing something completely different today." Chris said.
"Is it the sleep challenge? Whoever goes to sleep first wins? Because I think I think I'll definitely ace that challenge." Yulaw asked.
"Yeah. Second to me." Bobo said, yawning. He still had his pajamas on. Most of the cast did. Or were in clothes to sleep in.
"Real funny. But no. Just get in the portal and you'll see." Chris said, opening it.
"There is almost no challenge you could come up with that could justify us being up this late." Diana remarked.
"You sure about that? 'Cause I just did. And besides, you guys stay up later doing whatever you wanna do. But when someone else forces you to do it, it's a problem." Chris said.
"I only do it when it's necessary. Other than that, I-"
"Didn't ask. Now get in the portal. The sooner we get this done, the sooner you can go back to sleep."
New York(TMNT 2003)
The cast was seen on top of a large building.
"At least last time we were just on the island. Now we're being asked to do a potentially crazy challenge in a place we don't know when most of us are half-sleepy." Reimu said.
"You're saying that like you don't have the ability to handle it. Unlike some of us here." Becky F. said.
"The Heathers and Morty were able to handle themselves just fine last time. I think we'll be okay. My issue is not being able to at least be able to change into our normal clothes." Weiss said, still wearing her pajamas as she was attempting to try to tie her hair as it was down.
"For what? You don't gotta do that. You look fine." Aomine remarked, causing her to look at him. "Never seen you with your hair down before. I know I only ever met you with it tied, but it looks cute." He added, eyes half-closed as his arms were behind his head.
"Well, I still think we should change into our actual clothes. How do Chris expect some of us to be able to perform at our best in clothes made for sleeping?" She reasoned before undoing the little progress she had on her hair after the unexpected compliment.
"So you're gonna stop just because Aomine told you you looked nice?" Yang asked.
"That's not the reason. I just…." She struggled to come up with a reason other than that. But before she could come up with something that was probably going to be worse, Skipper was suddenly yelling.
"Ambush! Assume battle positions now! Kowalski! Ric-" Skipper looked around at everyone looking at him as if he was off his rocker. "What the heck? Why in the world are we in New York!?"
"New York? This doesn't look like the same place." As she was asking this, she was secretly breathing a sigh of relief at Skipper inadvertently getting her out of a tight spot.
"It is. This is New York of the present. I can recognize the smell a lot better here compared to 2105."
"He's right. This is in fact New York of the present!" Chris exclaimed. "AKA the Big Apple! In the US of A!"
"Well, at least we know Skipper's back to his old normal self. For better or worse." Becky F. said.
"Sleep, or lack thereof can turn you into a completely different person." Sendo said to the broker, yawning. "Just look at ol' webbed feet over there." He was referring to Skipper, who was on the ground, knocked out before Bachira woke him up and did what he had just did.
"I've had to be up for a good bit of missions. I'll be fine." Sly said before yawning himself.
"So what'll it turn you to?" She asked the boxer.
"Someone that's still gonna be a tough out." Sendo said confidently as he grinned. "Good thing I slept in a bit early to rest my body."
"And then you have these three." Becky F. said, referring to Razer, Din and Jotaro as she was standing next to the last one out of the three. "Like do you three sleep!? At least X, Zero and company make sense. And Sebastian already said he doesn't need to sleep."
"Shut up you annoying b*tch! Damn…." Jotaro yelled out.
Hearing that caused an already sleep deprived Becky to snap. "What was that!?"
"I said shut the hell up!"
She raised her hand, intending to slap him only to be grabbed by Rally. But it wasn't over yet as she tried to pull away. Jotaro, visibly annoyed, walked away to another part of the building.
"Not this time! I've had just about enough! It's one thing to call me old, but to call me old and that too!?"
"Calm down! No one called you old!" Rally said, trying to keep ahold of her.
"Do you need your ears cleaned or something!? I heard what he said!"
"Well clearly we're not hearing the same thing."
"Calm down you two! You're just acting like this because you're tired!" May pleaded, holding Puss as he was sleeping.
"I'm perfectly fine! It's her you need to be talking to!" Rally said, pointing to Becky.
"So you're telling me what not to be offended by!? Really!?" Becky said.
"No one ever said that. But no one should be wanting to start an unnecessary fight on a rooftop in the middle of the night either."
"If he would have answered my question like a normal person, this wouldn't have happened! Heck, I would have taken him ignoring me!"
"I'm not saying I'm okay with how he reacted, but what you did isn't helping matters either."
Grogu was heard as he moving around, now awake. He looked around, tired and confused.
"I know. It's early for me too." Din said to him. Only difference between the two was that Grogu could afford to go back to sleep. He couldn't.
"Early's an understatement." Rally said, relenting as Becky was calming down.
"Sorry Grogu. It won't happen again, I promise." Becky said to him. Seeing the baby immediately calmed her down. He was probably the one person she genuinely thought it was impossible to get mad at for anything around here.
"Let's hope not. Chris, when is the challenge going to start?" Din asked.
"At midnight." Chris answered.
"Why does it have to be at midnight!? Why the hell can't you start it now!? We're tired! Do you not understand that!?" Rally yelled out, being one of those people as she had to quickly cover herself with the robe she was wearing, feeling the breeze immediately.
She was trying to restrain herself but a mixture of what she had to stop earlier and Chris deciding to pull these antics at night was making it real hard to do that. Alongside what just happened. She closed her eyes, cheeks red before exploding. "HURRY UP!" Her yell woke up Kurt, who had closed his eyes, falling asleep standing up and Natsu and Happy. Murasakibara however, was still knocked out.
"Look, I can't make the clock go faster. But uh, I can get you to go back. As much as I'm sure some may love the fanservice, considering the editing and censoring team is probably sleep, we're gonna have to cut it short." He said as a portal opened.
"Not being able to fully dress because of you is not fanservice dumba*s!" As she said this, one of her breasts slipped out. She immediately tried to cover herself again before quickly running to the portal.
"Maybe my time with Tezla has made me like this, but why do we have to wait? You wouldn't just do stuff like this just to mess with us." Kurt asked Chris.
"Five minutes and you'll get your answer." Chris said.
"What are we supposed to do for five minutes?" Tangle asked, yawning.
"Anything you want on this rooftop. As long as you don't leave it."
"I bet if you take that helmet off Din, you'll see he's a robot. That's why he never takes his helmet off. Or he's an alien like Razer." Todd said.
"Being an alien doesn't mean anything. Rook's an alien and look at him." Ben commented, gesturing to him.
"Ben, I am over here." Rook corrected, as he was on his left, not his right.
"Huh? Then who was I looking at earlier?"
"No one."
Ben blinked in confusion before looking and seeing that there really wasn't anyone there.
"Note to self: Don't let Ben be in the next challenge." Isagi remarked before yawning himself.
"I…. *yawn, now I am doing it too!" Albedo said, now annoyed. "But I agree. Todd's statement is just an ignorant one. And possibly prejudiced."
"Okay, so how come Razer's not sleepy then?" Todd asked.
"Because I already got a good amount of rest before we were asked to come here." Razer said.
"And Din?"
"If I was a robot, I wouldn't be able to eat." Din said.
"But no one sees you eat. You always leave! You could be just taking the food pretending you're gonna eat it when you're actually not!"
"Todd, what reason would he even have to hide the fact that he's a robot? If in fact he actually was one, which I seriously doubt." Riley asked. "There's several other robots here."
"Perhaps he doesn't feel comfortable revealing that to anyone." Penny reasoned.
"One, she was talking to me, and two, that's dumb. He's probably hiding it to protect any sort of weird powers he's got. Or his face. You take off the helmet and you see a metal face with red eyes."
"You mean like the Terminator? I really don't-" Becky F. started before yelling was heard.
"TERMINATOR! T-1000 ATTACK!" Eijun yelled out before acting as if he was loading a shotgun(that he didn't have), and shot it before he fell to the ground, falling back asleep.
"SHUT UP!" Several people yelled out.
"Damn reta-" Hiruma started before closing his eyes, unable to finish his sentence. Though he pulled the trigger on the gun he had, which caused him to open his eyes again. Immediately after, Mamori took the gun away from him. Something that he didn't object to.
"He had to have been hit on the head as a kid or something." Yulaw commented, stretching.
"Sebastian my dear, you're going to have to carry the load for this challenge it seems. Can you do that for me? Please?" Eliza said before leaning on him, sleepy herself.
"I can try. Of course, as the saying goes, there is no I in team. I hope this challenge is worth the wait Chris. I can't imagine the amount of disturbances we've caused." Sebastian said, wanting to push her off but deciding not to.
"Please tell me it's been five minutes." Emma said, rubbing her eyes.
"Woohooooo!" A voice was heard yelling out. Four turtles with different colored ninja eyemasks dropped down via the skateboards they had. Or in the case of Mikey, roller skates. These four being Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael again. Though as they came down, Rally came back through the portal, dressed in a tank top and sweatpants and Raph was the one that landed on top of her. Getting up in anger, she immediately ran after the culprit.
"Woah, woah hey chill Ral! It's me! Raphael! Former teammates remember!?" Raph said.
After hearing this, she immediately calmed down. "Sorry. Just tired. And annoyed. The two things that apparently made me not recognize you guys."
"Is this really New York? A lot less lively compared to 2105." Weiss asked the four.
"Well duh. For one, there's no flying cars flying around 24/7. Two, it's midnight." Mikey replied.
"And three, this is one of the less busy areas of the city." Donatello said. "There's a reason New York City is called 'The City That Never Sleeps'."
"I thought Chris called it the 'Big Apple'." Ruby said.
"That's the state nickname. NYC or New York City is known as 'The City That Never Sleeps'."
"Huh?"
"New York City isn't the same as New York. The former is a city. The latter is a state."
"I still don't get it. They sound like the same thing."
"Maybe they just have two nicknames?" Blake proposed.
"No, that's not it." Donatello said.
"Look, it's not really important. With how you guys are looking, I can tell most of you are tired." Leo said.
"Wow, what gave that away genius? The fact that some of them are on the ground sleepin', or the fact that some of them have rings under their eyes or barely staying awake?" Raph asked.
"Hence why I said I could tell, genius." Leo replied, a bit of sarcasm in the 'genius' back at him before he turned his attention back to the cast. "But that's understandable. Some of you may not exactly be used to being up around these hours."
"Which is why we've got a little pick-me-up for you!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Is it coffee?" Becky F. asked, slumping and rubbing her eyes.
"Nope. Even better!"
"Is it telling us we've all won and we can go back to sleep?" Louie asked.
"Or maybe we find out that this is all a dream and the real challenge starts in the afternoon." Bren said.
"How about no challenge at all?"
"That works too."
Mikey made a buzzer noise. "Too bad! Guess you're gonna have to catch us to find out what it is!"
"See if you can keep up!" Donatello said as the four began to run off.
"Hey! Come back with my coffee!" Becky called out, running and almost falling off the rooftop before Doyle caught her. When she really got a look at what was about to happen, her eyes shot completely open and she yelled.
"Well, at least you're awake." Doyle said. "Also, you're welcome."
"Come on! We need to wake up! The challenge might be catching them and they're getting away!" Isagi called out to his teammates.
"Wake up!? I'm awake right now! Can't you see that cadet? Now get back in line!" Skipper yelled, not even looking at Isagi as he was yelling at an antenna.
"Rei, Kagami wake up! Now!" Becky called out.
"That's one hell of a dunk Rei…." Kagami said in his sleep.
"He has your eyes, did you notice that? What are you gonna name him?" Rei said in her sleep as both of them were on the ground, knocked out sleep.
"Bet you can't catch us!" Mikey taunted before blowing a raspberry at them.
"Hey! Guys! Wake up!" Molly and Libby shouted to their own teammates as Bass had already run off to chase after the four behind Sebastian. Axl and Zero weren't too far behind.
Hiruma was about to shoot before Lanolin stopped him, warning that he could end up scaring them and causing them to hurt themselves or someone else. She instead woke them up with her cowbell, yawning herself as she did.
Aomine, eyes closed as he was standing up was laughing at something as Weiss and Ruby were trying to shake him to his senses. Despite the laughing, he was not awake. The cowbell did the trick though. And Eijun's yelling.
"Somebody shut that dumba*s up!" He immediately said after being woken up.
"Trust me, I'm going to make something just for him." Sucy remarked, frowning as rings were seen around her eyes too. Upset was an understatement for what she was feeling at the moment.
"You're the only idiot here. We've been trying to get you up!" Weiss said to Aomine.
"For what?" He asked.
"For the challenge!"
"There was a challenge?"
"YES!" Ruby and Weiss yelled.
"We have to catch them, come on!" Ruby said before offering to help him by carrying him.
"Thanks but no. I need to wake myself up anyway." He said before entering the Zone and immediately taking off running.
Penny offered help to a seemingly tired Paul as well but he declined, using Garchomp instead. Though Bren readily accepted being carried.
Everyone else that wasn't running was not too far behind as they all ran to try to catch the four turtles.
"You're not gonna be able to outrun us. Give it up now." Zero said to the four turtles.
"Wouldn't be a challenge if they just gave up." Axl said.
"Compared to what we've been asked of before, I would hardly consider this a challenge." Sebastian said.
"Man, you guys are no fun. Live a little! You're running on the rooftops of NY freakin' C!" Mikey exclaimed.
"And?" Zero said.
"You poor guys. Guess that's one of the drawbacks of bein' from another world. And/or the future." Donatello said.
"Drawbacks? I don't understand." X said, confused.
"Maybe you will a little more after this!" Leonardo said.
Ding Ding
"I thought we were done with that?" Axl said.
"Clearly not." Zero replied.
"Song or not, I'm still going to catch them first!" Bass declared before beginning to use his weapons, something that he didn't have the luxury of doing the last challenge on the three and Sebastian.

When everyone was starting to catch up to them, they decided to take that ground back by using the prototype compact hoverboards that Donnie designed.
"Hey guys, don't you think it's selfish of us to hog all the lines?" Leo asked his brothers.
"I guess I could let em have a bit of fun. What do ya think guys? Wanna join in?" Raph asked the contestants.
"I wanna get this over with. But, two can play at that game. Let's go Leopatra!" Fiona said before bringing out said Scan2Go machine.
"I think it's safe to say you picked a poor time for a musical." Libby said to the four.
"Oh well. Suit yourselves." Mikey said.
"Hey, I'm tired but count me in. We're not gonna get many more of these so why not?" Zee said.
"That's the spirit!" Donnie said.
"You're not outrunning us!" Tangle declared, speeding up. But the four sped up with her and the others. "You know what? I think I'll stop talking and just sing."

"Enough of this!" Albedo yelled out, before changing to another alien. But suddenly, it seemed as if he was stuck in the middle of doing so. And everyone else was held in place too. Everyone except for X and Zero. Things looked to have been an easy win for the Rats as they were able to stop and catch all four. Or so they thought. Two devastating punches sent the two flying.
JJBA Jotaro's theme plays
"Good grief. Can't even get a proper amount of rest dealing with this damn show." Jotaro said, his Stand being the source of the punches.
Time resumed as everyone looked to see the aftermath of what just happened.
"What the shell?" Raph said, holding his head as he and his brothers were off their boards because of X and Zero before Jotaro picked him up.
"I'm not gonna sit here and mince words. I had a long night. And from the combination of Chris, Eijun's annoying a*s yelling, Becky's annoying a*s attitude and dumba*s questions, to you guys deciding it'd be fun to make us chase you across a city past midnight, disturbing more people with your stupid a*s musical, to say I'm in a good mood is an understatement. Now, tell us who won. NOW!"
"Yo mama." Raph said, smiling which caused Jotaro to immediately punch him in the face with his stand to send him flying.
Not long after though, he had to stop a saber attack from Zero. This was enough to cause an entire fight to break out between the teams.
"I don't know how you were able to move when X and I stopped time, but it doesn't really matter. You're not fighting civilians who need to rely on help to win anymore. You're fighting me! I'll take you by myself!" Zero said.
"Is that supposed to intimidate me? Because you're not doing a good job so far." Jotaro replied before throwing several punches, forcing him to have to block them all.
"No, that was just the start of a reality check that I'm gonna give you personally! It takes more than yelling and punching to win a fight."
"If you think that's all I do, then you've already lost."
Meanwhile, Albedo, as Ultimate Gravattack, held Ben and Rex place.
"Stay out of my way!" Albedo said to Ben.
"So uh, I got nothing to do with whatever it is you two got going on, so can I go?" Rex asked.
"Actually, you can."
"Wait, really-" The next thing he knew, he was sent flying through the top by the Ultimatrix user.
"Fire dragon's soul!" Natsu and Rei combined their fire into one attack.
"Thundering roar!" Noelle and Fiona simultaneously said, combining their own lighting and water attacks.
"Hydro pump!" Paul commanded Gyarados.
"Bolt flare!" Sophie added as their attacks combines as well as the attacks collided into a three-way explosion.
"Guys, stop! Catching us wasn't the challenge!" Leo revealed.
"Now you tell us." Bobo said, shooting at Hiruma.
"Seriously guys, you're gonna trash their place if you don't stop." Chris said, coming through the hole that was already created from the battle. Chef and the others were there as well.
"As if what happened now doesn't make it look like it was trashed?" Raph commented.
"Well, I mean it could look worse."
"You decided to do this to a bunch of people that didn't get to get much sleep. I don't feel bad." Rei commented before reverting back to normal.
"Wasn't our idea to have this at twelve at night." Raph said.
"But we did accept it. Even if we didn't expect or intend for things to go like this, we're still somewhat responsible and at fault." Leo said.
Just then, a mutant rat appeared, a smile on his face, happy to know that his sons returned.
"My sons you are-" He quickly noticed the hole and the other damages in the lair along with Chef and the interns. "I see the guests have arrived as well."
"Quite the first impression huh?" Raph asked.
"Yes. Quite." Splinter said before walking through the hole.
"We're really sorry about trashing the place." Ruby said.
"Do not worry. Chris will pay for the repairs."
"Wait, I'm what now?" Chris said in disbelief.
"You will pay for the repairs. Did you hear me now?"
"You can just take it out what you're already get-"
Leo had his arms folded. His face showed that there wasn't about to be a negotiation about it.
"Fine. But only because I'm interested to see what the last game's gonna be about." Chris said before turning to the contestants. "But seriously, I get trying to catch the turtles. But was all this necessary?"
"The only reason you're saying this now is because you actually have to pay for the destroyed stuff instead of being able to just hurry up and leave." Sly said.
"Not a hundred percent true. I'm being serious a little bit too. Like I get it, you've fought and done some pretty crazy stuff. But wow, you're acting like it's life or death half the time."
"I mean, Jotaro started it by sending X and Zero through a wall." Sucy said.
"So what are we supposed to do, just let you win if that was what the challenge was?" Eliza asked.
"I'm just saying. There were other ways he could have dealt with those two."
"Now I can see why Raphael talks about you all so much. And I can also see that after today, it is probably a good idea for most of you to only appear here again through Donatello or Michelangelo's computer after this day." Splinter said.
"Computer? What are ya talkin' about?" Raph asked.
"Video calling. It's the only one most of you should ever come back here again. It is hard enough dealing with four. Sometimes five with Casey."
"Enough of this. What's the real challenge?" Jotaro asked.
"It's a series of games picked by the turtles among some others. Come on, I'll explain the rest with the others."
Chris and the cast made their way into the area of the lair that seemed to have been the "living room" so to speak. Or at least as much of one as you could make in a subway station. A couple of sofas could be seen along with a TV, a round table in the middle of the sofas along with a long mat away from all of those.
"Man, I just realized, you guys aren't in a sewer anymore. Got tired of the smell?" Ben joked.
"Wasn't that. Ya missed a lot. Let's just leave it at that." Raph said.
"Considering I was 10 the last time I met all four of you in you guys' home, including Master Splinter, I'm pretty sure I did. Of course, something tells me that I guessed wrong on the sewer smell thing."
"Yeah. Way off the mark."
"Sheesh, is there anyone you haven't met?" Yang asked.
"I know right? Crazy to think about I'm just one of many big heroes he's met." Rex said.
"Come on, it hasn't been that many people." Ben said.
"Drop the modest act. It doesn't suit you at all." Yang said.
"It's not an act. There's still so many guys out there in the universe. Multiverse, that I've yet to meet. What I've done is probably nothing compared to Rick and Morty have done."
"Probably? It's not. That's a fact." Rick remarked.
"Hota pizza comin' through!" A man with long black hair wearing a deep red T-shirt and long dark blue sweatpants with white trim and matching blue and white tennis shoes said in Italian accent, coming through an alternate entrance to the lair. He held several pizzas in his hand.
"Casey if you drop that pizza… I'm gonna be mad, but the others? Let's just say they're gonna be a word that would be censored." Raph said.
"Trust me, I got it." He insisted before eventually getting to the desired spot and placing some pizza boxes on the table. "April's comin' with some more, so ya might want to stand clear. Unless you potentially want hot pizza in your face."
"Casey I can hear your Italian accent." April O'Neil, a redheaded woman with pale skin, a t-shirt with a white rectangle and gray jeans tied in a brown belt said.
"What did ya think?"
"I think it needs some work."
"All right! Looks like I'm gettin' better at it." He said before going back the way he came with April.
"Better at it? She's only sayin' that 'cause she's his wife. It's terrible." Raph said to the contestants.
"Wait, wife!?" Doyle and Ben said simultaneously.
"Man, I really have missed a lot." Ben said.
"Speakin' of, when are you and Yang gonna make it official?" Mikey asked.
"That we're officially friends? That's already been done."
"Yeah. That song where we had to eat sand together pretty much sealed it if it didn't already last season." Yang said.
"Probably the worst song of the season simply because of that."
"Yeah I honestly didn't mind the others. That one? You did okay, then the sand came."
"No, that's not what I meant." Mikey said before bringing his hands together as if they were kissing.
"We know what you meant. It's just never happening. Sorry."
"Yeah. I thought we made that clear last season." Ben added.
"Never say never." Mikey said.
"Look, I know I look good, but you guys keep doing it to us. Why don't you do it to those two?" Yang said, pointing to Weiss and Aomine as the latter out of the two seemed to be in a trance, drooling. All thanks to the pizza that was at the table. He looked as if he was in heaven. He had to be held back from the pizza by her.
"Come on, I know you're hungry too. Just let me go and I'll share some with you." Aomine said to her.
"No is no! We don't even know if that pizza is for us!" Weiss said, tightening her grip. "Don't make me strengthen my grip!" Though admittedly, she was hungry herself. The difference was, she had self-control about it. But to be fair, he wasn't the only one in a trance seemingly. Rally and Becky were in one. And Puss, while still sleeping had a smile on his face from the pizza smell.
"Looks like you guys are hungry. Great! At least we know this won't go to waste." April said as they brought more pizza among other things like cheese sticks and other sides.
Riley was grimacing before exploding. "I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" She immediately dashed to the pizza before being held back by Razer.
"Hey, slow your roll guys. At least let us get plates first. But, while ya wait, why don't you guys get changed into somethin' more comfortable?" Casey said. Portals were opened not long after for them to get changed.
"Come on, I'm hungry too, but at least I don't act like that. Talk about no self-control sis." Todd commented.
Plates were brought in as well as they went to get changed.
"So wait, these are all for us?" Weiss asked, after returning, changing into her normal clothes, though still notably with her hair down.
"Yes! Go ahead and dig in! Just make sure you guys all have clean hands before you do it." April said. Before she could even finish, she dragged Aomine by the arm.
"No wait! The pizza's the other way!" Aomine said.
"Wash your hands. Don't be nasty." Weiss said in a stern tone.
"I got sanitizer."
"No you don't. Stop lying."
"I do! Look!"
" Wash your hands."
"Okay, okay. Fine."
"The fact that you would eat with those hands is absolutely disgusting, especially considering your tendencies." Noelle remarked after finishing washing hers.
"'Tendencies'? The hell are you talking about?"
"Ignore her and wash your hands. You would think you'd want to get it done faster so you can eat." Weiss said.
"Do we even know if the plumbing's good around here?" Bren asked.
"With the help of Chaplin, that's already been covered." Donnie said.
"Except none of us know who that is. Except for maybe Ben. Is Chaplin good?"
"Don't know. Never heard of him." He answered.
"Dr. Chaplin is a good guy. And a just as good scientist. You can trust him and the filters that he designed. With the help of Professor Honeycutt too." April said, a couple of people behind Bren.
Eventually, everyone washed their hands to eat. Din included. Though of course, he ate outside with Grogu.
"I don't know. I think people say that about you two because you two get along so well. I can't really say that about Weiss and Aomine." Ruby said to Yang as they looked at the two talking to each other as they ate. "Well, they don't hate each other but, they don't get along like you two do."
"You really think that?"
"I can't think of a single time I've seen you two really fight, even if it's like a small disagreement."
"No, I mean Weiss and Aomine, that they don't get along like that. Because I have to disagree."
"I don't know, I just don't see it."
"So you didn't hear what he said about her hair?"
"About it being down? I thought it was because he was sleepy. Do you really think he'd say something like that for real? He's nice, but not in that way."
"You never know."
"Trust me Yang, I'm pretty sure he didn't mean it that way."
And that was exactly what they had just started talking about now.
"I said what now!?" Aomine said in utter shock after what Weiss told him what he said.
"Those were your words, not mine. Why would I make something like that up?"
"Look if I did say it, I was sleepy. I'm pretty sure I wasn't talking to you. I don't even remember what I was even dreaming about to say that." Aomine said to her. "What would even possess you to think I would even say something like that? Even in my dreams it sounds weird."
"Hmm, I guess that's true." She replied, though secretly disappointed with his answer.
"Regardless, I really have never seen you like this. But to be honest, I really don't care. You don't look bad either way."
"Considering that mop on your head, your apathy is also believable." Weiss said before tossing him a comb and brush.
"Real funny." He put both down and got another plate full of just pizza.
"You just had a full plate! How could you want another?"
"I'm still hungry." He said in between pizza chewing.
"Please stop talking with food in your mouth. And here, that looks disgusting." She said before handing him a paper towel for him to wipe his mouth with.
"Thanks. Anything else mommy?"
"Just make sure you drink something. Preferably water."
Louie was seen playing back Aomine saying "mommy".
"Wow, that is a crazy voice clip out of context." He commented.
"Louie, delete that." Huey said.
"Relax, I'm not gonna do anything with it if that's what you're thinking."
"Then why did you say 'that's a crazy clip out of context'?"
"And you don't think it's one? Sarcastic or not."
"Okay, maybe it is but that's not the point! Louie, your word should be trusted as much as Hiruma and Miyuki's."
"You did not just compare him to those two. What the heck is wrong with you?" Dewey said.
"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with him?" Huey said, pointing to Louie.
"I'm perfectly fine. I'm not the guy that just compared their one of two only brothers, to maniacs that just so happened to choose sports as their outlets to torture people with their schemes." Louie said.
"One, you're overexaggerating a bit. Two, you should be the last person talking about schemes. Look, just please, for once, don't Louie things up, okay?"
"Louie things up?"
"He's saying don't mess what they've got up." Dewey said.
"I know what he meant. I'm just repeating it because…. 'Louie things up'." He started laughing afterwards.
"I'm serious!" Huey exclaimed.
"Louie, I'm pretty sure if you were to do anything, it'd be pretty harmless. But at the same time, let's not take that risk okay? Huey, don't do too much to try to make sure he doesn't do anything. That might just make things worse." Dewey said.
"Dewey being the mediator?" Louie said.
"What alternate timeline is this?" Huey added.
"Oh come on! You could have just said peacemaker! Oh wait, I forgot who I'm talking to." Dewey said to Louie.
"Honestly? That wasn't even intentional." Louie said. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna help myself to some more soda before it's gone."
Meanwhile, one member of another trio was bothering(or at least attempting to) another trio member.
"Mmmmmm, Pizza. Smells good right? Almost like, you want to eat it!" Tangle said to Axl, waving a pizza slice in his face.
"Nice try. How many times do you have to be told that I can't eat anything?" Axl said to her.
"You mean the smell of a three-meat pizza with a root beer, cheesy cheese sticks and brownies and cookies isn't enough to at least make you want or wish you could eat?"
"If I did, I'd have to be subjected to what Chris forces you to eat every day we come here to compete. So no."
"You don't know what you're missing. But oh well, more pizza for me." Tangle said before shrugging and beginning to enjoy said slice she had in her hand.
"Now this is real pizza." Todd said as he started to eat another piece.
"Have you really never eaten pizza before?" Riley asked Razor.
"No. Maybe this is another food that Hal has eaten before." Razer said before finally giving the pizza a try.
"Riley, you do realize he's never been to Earth right? Stop asking dumb questions asking surprised." Todd said.
"Look, I forgot! That's why I asked." Riley replied. "Also, what do you think?"
"I guess it's fine." Razer answered.
"'Fine'? Give it time. You stay here long enough to eat real food and you'll be changing your tune. Way better than whatever weird alien food you eat." Todd said.
"I think that's a bit prejudiced to say what he eats is weird because he's an alien." Becky B. said. "Not everything is slime or tentacles like what you see on TV."
"Well, he's not exactly objecting it."
"That's because I'm not exactly in a position to be able to change your opinion. As Kilowog and Hal would say, 'Don't knock it until you try it'." Razer said.
"Usually it's 'til, but sure. That works." Riley said.
"Hey I'll be happy to try it. As long as it doesn't look disgusting, and it doesn't have a weird smell to it. Those are always tell-tale signs something's nasty." Todd said.
Razer was seen getting a cup.
"Get the soda! I promise you, you won't regret it."
"Get whatever you want. Don't listen to him." Riley said.
Todd simply gave Riley a look before saying, 'get the soda' again.
"I think I'll just stick to water for now." Razer said.
As they and others enjoyed their pizza and chatted amongst themselves, along with April, Casey. Splinter and the Turtles, Zero and X watched the whole thing.
"Looks like all it took for them to get back to their normal selves was food. I won't pretend I get it but, it's good to see them back to normal. Otherwise, from what I saw, the next challenge was going to get ugly." Zero said.
"Yeah. Unfortunately, we still don't have any info about what it'll be."
"Only thing we can do is wait. We'll get there."
"Disciplinary committee or not, you've got to have an incredible amount of mental strength to have to deal with someone like that basically every day." Courtney said to Lanolin, referring to Mamori dealing with Hiruma. "Most people, admittedly, myself included, wouldn't have put up with that past a week."
"Honestly, I was already put off by him the first day. And his plan during that Water Realm race didn't help matters. At least Sonic, as risky as he can be, has his head on straight. He's more of a thrill-seeker, loves danger, if you will. To my chagrin. But Hiruma, half the time, doesn't. I understand he's been living on his own but still." Lanolin said.
"Wait, he lives by himself?"
"Yes. He stays in his own room in a business hotel. One he was able to get free because he found out that they lied about how large the hotel was when it was built."
"Lying about that is against building access laws. So instead of facing a potential lawsuit that could really hurt them they'd rather give him a room for free. Good on him for finding that out. I hope it's a good hotel at least."
"Still, that kind of makes me question where he was staying prior. Was he homeless? Did he decide to leave when his father never came back from competing professionally at shogi? As annoying as he is at times, I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't interested in learning more, as nosy at that makes me seem."
"Huh. Honestly, when I first met him during one of the mini-game challenges from the last multiverse season, I just dismissed him as some deranged lunatic. The more you know. Now that actually brings me to this question. You have to choose between Todd and Louie, Miyuki or Hiruma to be part of a team with. Doesn't have to be a Total Drama team. But they're probably smaller, and they're your superior, meaning that for the most part, you're going to have to listen to what they tell you to do. Who are you choosing?"
Lanolin thought for a few seconds. "To be completely honest, this isn't as tough of a question as you think it is."
"Okay, so what's your answer then?"
Before she could answer, she saw Morty talking to Zee about something, with the latter noticeably looking a lot sadder than usual. "Hold that thought."
"Hey, come on! At least say who it is first!"
"I have to force myself to eat pizza. Pizza! I never thought I'd ever have to say that in my life!" Zee said to Morty. "You know that feeling you get after you eat something really good and it hits your stomach? I don't feel it man!"
"Look man, I-I know it sucks. I love pizza too. But you can't eat it. And forcing it down isn't gonna make things better." Morty said.
"But you can't not eat pizza. Who can't eat pizza?"
"Lots of people actually. Some people probably just don't like it."
"Or in your case, you can't eat it because of health reasons." Lanolin said, joining them.
"Health reason? I know pizza isn't exactly fruit but it's still fine to me."
"No, I mean lactose intolerance."
"Lactose intolerance?"
"That's a condition where you can't eat or drink anything involving dairy. That was the other thing I was gonna get to before Lanolin got here." Morty explained. "Usually when that happens, you don't exactly feel good afterwards. Stomach pains, I'm sure you get the rest. That might be what you're feeling when you eat it too."
"No wait, I know what it is. I heard other people say it. I just didn't think I had it you know?"
"You mean you've been lactose intolerant and you never knew you had it? If you didn't even know cheese was from milk, who knows how long you've been in pain." Lanolin said.
"Pain? I don't know about that. I ate cheese and I was okay."
"So you haven't been feeling any type of stomach pain whatsoever?"
"Nope."
"Maybe you just don't like milk?"
"Only had it once. After Julia told me where it came from, that was it for me."
"Wait, Julia told you that? Where did she tell you it came from?" Morty asked.
"From cows' udders."
"Well, she didn't lie about it."
"And now, I find out that pizza, one of the best things ever is from the same disgusting, dirty place? I just can't see it the same anymore. And it sucks man. It really does." He overhears Kagami and Rei happily eating in the distance.
"You win. I can't eat anymore." Rei said to Kagami. Seconds later, she tried to hold in a bur but couldn't and was embarrassed because of it.
"I warned you." Kagami said, still eating more pizza slices.
"Zee, you do realize that that milk is pasteurized, right?" Lanolin asked him.
"Unless you tell me that they somehow clean the milk, there's nothing you can do to change my mind on milk. Or cheese. Or anything else that's made from milk!" Zee declared adamantly.
"That's what pasteurized means. They clean the milk."
"Wait, really? Why didn't you just say that?"
Lanolin only sighed and shook her head.
A few minutes later, Din returned and saw Mikey calling for April.
"Hey April! We're out of pizza!" Mikey called out.
April, talking with Casey, Doyle, Chef, Dwayne and Reagan was confused. With Din being slightly surprised as well. He figured it wouldn't last long, but not this quickly,."All out of pizza? Already? I don't even think that was-" April started.
"We're out of all the deserts too." Dewey added.
"And the other sides." Molly added.
"And drinks." Louie added.
"There's still water left." Huey corrected.
"Yeah, and why do you think that?"
"Man, that was faster than I thought. I thought it would last longer than that." Casey commented.
"Could you guys get some more please?" Asta asked.
"Read my mind." Natsu said, pizza halfway in his mouth.
Casey and April looked at each other in disbelief.
And there were others that didn't exactly look like they were done either.
"Guys, you realize how much pizza that was, right?" April asked.
"A lot?"
"That was probably around a hundred boxes. That's just estimating. There's definitely more. And there's the sides." Hailey said.
"Guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I seriously doubt they're going to buy more." Donatello said to the contestants that were hopeful for more food.
"That and the fact that we have to move on sooner or later. What happened to going to sleep? I thought you guys were tired?" Chris asked.
"Not anymore. I'm fine now." Kaz said.
"Same here." Asta said.
"I already got some rest. As much as I wanna eat more, I know I gotta stop." Sendo said, standing up to stretch.
"Not me. Tummy's full, and now I'm ready to go home." Bachira said, rubbing his eyes and yawning.
"Did you just say 'tummy'?" Aomine asked.
"Yeah, your ears didn't deceive you." Isagi said. "I'm pretty much used to it."
"I'm really sorry. I wish I could give you guys more, but we pretty much used all the money that we got paid to be here to help with the challenge." April said.
"Yeah. This was all their idea. So thank them a hundred percent for all the pizza." Chris said.
"In other words, if it wasn't for them, we'd be going straight into the challenge, tired and on an empty stomach." Mamori inferred.
"Uhhh, pretty much. But, I will give you this: I'll give you about 30 minutes to give you a chance to digest and just relax a bit. And after that, we're gonna get started."
Mamori had a deadpan look on her face. "Wow. Thanks."
"You're welcome. Your 30 minutes starts now by the way."
"Also, confessional's over there." Heloise said, pointing to where a camera was set up in an empty area.
"Wow. That's probably the most bare minimum I've ever seen." Isagi said.
"What? I was tired too. I didn't really feel like doing this either." Heloise said.
"But guess what? If she didn't, she doesn't get paid." Chris said. "Again, time's still running. Just a friendly reminder."
"Yeah, we heard you the first time." Isagi said.
"I know exactly what we can do to work this food off!" Hiruma declared.
"I want to, but I can't. Sorry." Morty said, already knowing what he was getting at.
"Yeah. I don't think I can go either." Kise said, clutching his stomach.
"Do whatever you want." Hiruma said to the two.
"Gladly." Kise remarked.
"They got some weights here if ya wanna exercise before ya start." Raph said, gesturing to the weights and the five bench presses.
"You know what? That's not a bad idea." Aomine said. "Anyone want to spot for me?"
"I can do it." Akashi volunteered.
"Sweet. Alright let's get to it. What's the min and max on weight?" Aomine asked Raph.
"Looks like I'll need a spotter." Kunigami said under his breath after not seeing many other options for working out.
"I got ya. Just make sure you don't kill yourself." Dwayne said.
"Screw it. Alright, who wants to spot for me?" Maki asked.
"You're gonna lift? I wanna see this." Yang said.
"I'll take that as a 'you're doing it'. Let's go."
"Didn't expect that many to take me up on that suggestion. But I love it! Let's see what you guys got." Raph said.
"If we're exercising, I know the perfect thing to do." Asta said.
"Push ups again?" Noelle asked, already expecting a yes, and not expecting to be surprised by anything else.
"Forget push-ups! Let's hit the weights too!" Kaz declared.
"Those arms are going to snap in 5 seconds." Fiona said.
"How can you be so negative? We trained in Gurao! Don't you remember how tough the training there was?"
"Of course I remember it. That still doesn't mean you can handle this. This is the same person that struggled lifting a rock."
"That was a pretty big rock! I don't remember you lifting on anything."
"I did. Don't you remember?"
"No. I bet it was so small and easy to lift. That's probably exactly why I forgot."
"I guess. It was a pretty small rock. A little smaller than yours I think."
"So what? Now you're saying you're stronger than me?"
"What? Where did you even get that? That's not what I'm saying at all."
"Tch. You think just because you've got friends around here too you're suddenly better."
"Kaz, I'm going to ignore you."
"SEE!? It's all Noelle's fault! Well, some of it is Julie and Jenny's fault I guess too but, mostly Noelle!"
"What? How is it my fault? I didn't even do anything!" Noelle said.
"The second Fiona started hanging out with you, she started acting differently!"
"What in the world are you talking about? I've literally been acting the same way I was when we first got on the show."
"Keep trying to play dumb all you want! Don't think I didn't hear your little team attack name. You just make sure it doesn't bring down the team, got it?"
"You are impossible sometimes Kaz." Fiona said before walking away, now in an annoyed mood, to the confessional.

Fiona(Wave Breakers):
"So because we had a team attack name that by the way, we didn't rehearse or practice. We just came up with on the fly, that makes me seem arrogant. If I was arrogant, I'd be no better than Hebina. Who's way too arrogant for her own good a lot of times. Hence why I get annoyed by her so much. Well, at least that's one of the reasons anyway."
"But I guess it's okay for Kaz to make friends, right?"

Unfortunately for Kaz, the last bench was taken by Din and Shiro, with Din being the first to go, Shiro being his spotter.
"Shiro, you're goingtoo? You wanna see who can do the most?" Kaz asked, waiting for his chance to go.
"Not interested." Shiro said, trying to focus on lifting.
"Hey Aomine!" Kaz called out, scaring him. The weights would have potentially fallen on him had Akashi not been there to stop it from happening.
"Do you see what could have happened dumba[censored]!? Get the hell outta here!" Aomine yelled.
"Sorry! Jeez." Kaz said before leaving.
"Hey kid, if ya wanna see who's strong, why don't ya arm wrestle? Not saying it's gotta be with me but I'm down for anybody that wants to go." Raph offered.
"That's a great idea! Who wants to go for a round!?"
"I'll take you on." Diego said, accepting his challenge.
"I gotta warn ya. I'm not gonna go easy on you!"

As they both went to a table to arm wrestle, Aomine got up, annoyed and no longer in the mood to do anymore after that.
"Jeez my a[censored]. You're not the one that almost got his neck taken out." He remarked. "Alright Akashi I'm done. Let me know when you're-"
He looked over and saw Maki doing it with ease.
"Gonna need to up the weights again." Maki said to Yang.
" Again? This is the third time you've done it." Yang said.
"Yeah, and I'm gonna keep doing it until I find the right weight. There's no point in me doing this unless there's a challenge."
"I'd say after the second time you should know by now how much you press. Or at least have an idea."
"Never been into weightlifting or anything like that until now. Hence why I don't know."
"Ohhhh. That makes sense. But still, jujutsu schools don't have anything for you to exercise with?"
"You mean like a gym? Maybe, maybe not. Regardless, it's never been my type of training."
"So why'd you want to do it now?"
"Decided to give it a try. Not much else to do so why not?"
"You keep upping the weights like this and I'm gonna say there's no need for it."
"Won't know unless we keep trying."

Kagami was doing some simple stretches before Rei walked up to him.
"So how was all those brownies, cookies and cakes? You need me to put you to bed?" Kagami asked.
"Only if you get in with me. After one more snack of course."
After hearing this remark, he immediately wanted to change the subject. "Alright, what do want?"
"You."
Kagami's face was beet red. "SERIOUSLY!?"
"To talk to you. What did you think I was talking about?"
"Oh. Sorry."
"Now I'm curious. Unless….."
"You do realize we don't have much time until the challenge right?"
"I know, I know. You're the one wasting time."
"I'm not!"
Rei laughed.
"I knew it! Freakin' liar!" He said.
"You may beat me in eating but you'll never beat me in a battle of words. Sorry."
"That doesn't even make any sense!"
"Uh huh. Coming from the person that just drew conclusions without evidence. You're not as dumb as you try to make yourself out to be you know. But come with me outside." She grabs his arm.
"Didn't you hear me earlier? There's a challenge coming up!"
"Come on, I'll make sure it's quick for you. I promise."
"I don't know if we should really be….. you know? Don't you think we should wait-"
"But I want to do it now." Rei whined. "We seriously need to talk." She added low and quickly, with a serious look on her face.
Kagami was confused. One minute she was making jokes. Another she was seemingly serious and/or upset with him. As much as he loved her for her passion among other things, he still was at a loss when it came to understanding girls' emotions at times.
As they went outside, Hanamiya watched them leave as he closed up the book he was reading.
"Can't say they won't get a room. Still doesn't make it any less annoying to watch them." He thought. "Their days are numbered though. Sooner or later, I'm gonna catch them. And when I do, they'll have all the time in the world to get a-"
"Hello? Earth to tadpoles?" Toxsa asked, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Oh, it's you. What's up?"
"Mikey and I are trying to decide which game is better to play."
"You're the gaming experts. I don't know if I'd be much help."
"We've already gotten some other opinions. You may not be as hardcore, but a gamer's a gamer. We need your energy dude."
"Alright, well, I'll see what I can do." Hanamiya said, getting up. "No clue why you'd wait so late to play but, whatever. Long as you show out in the challenges I don't really care."
As this was happening, Kaz was finally able to get his shot on the bench press, with Din and Shiro finishing up along with Akash and Aomine and Mamori and Hiruma. Dwayne was just now getting his chance with Kunigami just finishing. Casey, Doyle and Raph also joined in on using another one of the free ones.
"Who knew Mamori could press that much?" Doyle remarked.
"Hey I'm not surprised. Take it from the guy that's married to a computer genius that's a martial artist too." Casey said.
"Alright, let's see what ya got." Raph said to Doyle as he was going first.
As Doyle got ready to start, with Raph being his spotter, Kaz was heard struggling to lift.
"Why… can't… I lift!?" Kaz said, grunting in between words as Diego was his spotter, with Asta and Eijun soon joining in to watch.
"Maybe try starting off with something lighter?" Diego suggested, helping put the barbell back.
"No way! I'm not taking the easy way out! I'm gonna do this! You hear me!?" Kaz tried again. "Come on! COME ON!"
"Kaz stop!" Eijun declared.
"NO! I GOT IT!"
But it turned out that he didn't and Diego and Asta were forced to stop him.
"What the heck are you guys doing? I told you I had it!"
"You didn't have it." Eijun declared.
"How can you be doubting me too?"
Eijun, despite the racer still on the bench, slapped him, to the shock of several people.
"Why you!" Kaz said before quickly getting up. But he forgot he was under the bench and hit his head on it and was holding his head in pain now.
"Hey, hey guys! This is supposed to be fun! Don't hurt yaselves!" Casey said, trying to calm them down.
"Tell him that!" Kaz and Eijun said, pointing to each other.
"Me!? I'm not the one that slapped someone!" Kaz said.
"And I'm not the one that's trying so hard to hurt themselves!"
"When you're training it's supposed to not be easy! That's how you get stronger! This isn't my first rodeo with hard training you know! You think Asta got those muscles by taking it easy?"
"He probably didn't try to kill himself either!"
"To be fair, I do train very hard. Hence where the scars come from." Asta was about to show them before Eijun and Kaz stopped him.
"Trust me, I believe you." Kaz said.
"Then you need to start believing in limits too." Kunigami remarked as Dwayne finished.
"What do you mean believe in limits? That's crazy talk! We didn't get as far as we got in Scan2Go racing saying some stuff like that! That's how our machines evolved! And by the way, I think that's pretty rich coming from the guy that pretty much does nothing but work out when he's not doing challenges."
"Like I said before, the whole 'there is no limits' is bulls[censored]. Everyone has their limits. Even me. The only right thing you've said out of all of this is the fact that training is supposed to help get you stronger. So in almost every scenario, there is no 'easy path'. Even if you say you're training 'smarter', work still has to be done to get the results you want. But what you're doing isn't training by any stretch of the imagination. I don't know what they taught you on Gurao, but it obviously didn't do anything for you. This is exactly what happens when dumba[censored]es get in the gym with no' sense of direction." Kunigami said before leaving to get water.
"I'm stupid? You're the one talking nonsense about limits!"
Kunigami didn't respond back and ignored him.
"Hey! I know you can hear me!"
"Look kid, I may not exactly agree with how he said it, but I do agree that you gotta know what you're doing. What you're huntin' for. When I exterminate, I make sure I know as much as I can about what I'm tryin' to take out. That way nothing surprises me. That's exactly how I know what I need for the job." Dwayne said.
"I mean, that's great advice and all, but didn't you say you got fired?" Miyuki remarked, passing by.
"Fired doesn't mean I'm done. I'll find-" Dwayne had noticed that the catcher was already leaving and could only shake his head. "This guy…."
"I've got a sense of direction because I know what I want to do. Get stronger!" Kaz insisted.
"Kaz, do you even know how much you can bench press?" Eijun asked.
"Uh, I don't think so. Why?"
"That's the problem! This is what Kunigami's talking about with no sense of direction! Even Diego knows!"
"Actually, to be fair, I kinda guessed." Diego admitted, laughing a little in an embarrassed manner afterwards.
"Asta, tell them how much you press."
"I don't know. I've never done this before. Which is why I wanted to give it a try. It looked interesting." Asta answered.
"Wha- HOW DO YOU GET THAT STRONG AND NOT USE ANY WEIGHTS!?"
"Oh that's easy. Push-ups, running, sit-ups, squats and handstand sit-ups. Of course, I should definitely try the one-finger push-ups like I saw Shin do too. I've just been forgetting to."
Eijun facepalmed, putting both hands in his face after hearing how two out of the three have no sense of a formal workout, and the third has strength that he only wish he could have while having a way simpler workout routine compared to his.
Asta sat on the bench before getting in the same position that he saw everyone else getting in when they used it. "So how does this work? Eijun, you sound like you've done it before. Maybe you can-"
He was already gone, having to go outside to get his head back on straight while mumbling to himself in his head.
"I'll spot ya. You always wanna make sure you have someone to do this in case something goes wrong so they can stop it. Trust me, you don't wanna have all that weight on your neck. Cause if ya do, you can say goodbye to breathin'." Raph explained.
"I already learned my lesson on that the first time." Sena said, laughing as Monta prepared to spot for him when they both got to one of the free benches.
As Asta learned about bench pressing, Rei and Kagami were still talking outside.
"You really believe I would say that?" Kagami said to Rei in disbelief, after hearing in detail, the second hallucination that she had, which was the one she wanted to talk to him about, moreso because of Bakura and Hanamiya.
"I didn't believe it but….. it seemed real. That's why it hurt so much."
"Look, I may get upset, but that's one thing I'm not gonna do. Not to you, not to anyone else on this team. I may want you guys to play better, just like how you'd want me to play better. But that's not one of the ways I'll do that. I'm not gonna leave my teammates behind, that includes you. Alright?"
Rei held a fist out for him to bump.
"First it's hugs, now it's the fist bump again. Could you make up your mind?"
"Well, you seem to be a lot more partial to that compared to the affectionate stuff."
"It's not the hugs. It's…" He stopped when he heard a noise. That noise being Eijun accidentally hitting his hand on a building. "Hey! Are you eavesdropping!?"
Eijun turned, not even noticing the two as he was lost in his own thoughts until now.
"I'm not eavesdropping!"
"Yeah sure buddy!"
"Why are you out here anyway? You don't look like you're trying to practice or anything." Rei asked suspiciously.
"Nothing for you two to worry about! Just go back to kissing or whatever!" Eijun yelled out.
"Stop being nosy and go somewhere else!" Rei and Kagami yelled out.
"I'M NOT BEING NOSY!"
"Guys, maybe not yell. You realize what time it is, right? Your yelling is how I was able to find you. Also, 15 minutes is up. Let's go." Chris said, coming outside.
With the three going back inside with Chris, he made the announcement that the challenge was about to start.
"A good match." Leo said to Ryoma, bowing to him as they were in a sparring match with one another.
"Thank you for the match." Ryoma replied, bowing as well.
Splinter came back into the main area of the lair not long after.
"So the challenge finally begins." Splinter said before noticing the mess that was made. From the trash to the several stacks of pizza boxes far off. "And I formally declare that your first game will be to take out the trash. For this, there are no losers, but there will still be a prize at the end."
"Really? What's the prize?" Bachira asked.
"Learning the virtue of cleanliness."
"Wow. Thanks." Zak said sarcastically.
"This is one prize that you must accept."
"Wait a sec, is this really a game?" Isagi asked.
"No." Chris answered.
"Okay, just checking."
"You still have to clean up though. Everyone's gotta do it." Chef said.
"And what if we don't?" Zak asked.
"If his team wins, don't let him get the prize." Doyle said.
"Great idea Doyle. So, if you want that prize, get to work." Chris said.
"I can live without better food. I can always eat before I get here. Still a no." Zak said.
"Suit yourself. Just stand off to the side and wait. Anyone else?"
"Are you crazy? The more chances I have to avoid that terrible food, the better. Besides, it's not like I'm the only person doing this." Todd said.
"But you're going to pull your weight." Courtney said.
"Pull my weight? This isn't a game."
"She means actually carry stuff and not get a small bottle and say you're doing something." Riley said.
"But that is doing something! Try again."
"He's just gonna keep doing this over and over again. Just letting you know." Yang remarked.
"Just make sure you get things." Sophie said to Todd as Din and some of the others had already gotten to work.
"Sure thing." Todd said before getting a pizza box. "See? I didn't get a bottle." Several people could only shake their head or roll their eyes.
"Can we do eliminated trades? Because if so I want to trade him for Echizen. Effective immediately." Weiss asked.
"Not how the show works. So, like it or not, you lovely ladies are stuck with me. So get used to it." Todd said.
"Won't be that way for long if you don't do your job." Skipper warned.
"Just like you better do yours flippers."
"That's ' Skipper' to you soldier." Skipper said, getting in his face.
"You think I'm scared of you? I can get in your face too!"
"Guys, let's just focus on taking out the trash, not each other." Ruby pleaded.
"Zee sure looks happier." Reimu said, noticing how more animated he was with others about pizza now as he was talking about pizza to others.
"It was pretty good. I've never had pizza before so this was my first time trying it." Asta said to him.
"Okay, I gotta see exactly what goes on in your world. It just sounds like you guys have nothing." Toxsa said.
"I wouldn't say that much."
"I'm just goin' off the info you're giving me bud."
"You can thank Morty and Lanolin for that I think." Becky F. said to Reimu.
"Nah. Lanolin did it. I'm not gonna take credit for that. I tried but I didn't really know what to say." Morty said.
"Well, what did you tell him?"
"Just tried to figure out what was going on. And try to let him down easy with pizza. But, turens out, he just didn't know the milk was pasteurized."
"Wait…" She blinked a couple of times in disbelief. "Did he really not know that?"
"Nope."
"Wow. You know what? Not everyone knows everything so…. but still, hasn't he drank milk before? I don't understand how he's never known this until now."
"Actually no. He's only drank milk once during a challenge. Then after Julia told him it came from cows he never drank it again."
"Huh. Considering how he's one of the more open-minded people for food around here, I'm very surprised."
She suddenly felt someone tap her on the shoulder and realized it was May.
"Oh it's you."
"So, how did you like the pizza?" May asked Rally and some of the other teammates she wasn't around to eat with as they cleaned up around the lair.
"Pretty alright. Now I get to say I tried New York pizza so that's nice." Rally answered.
"'Alright'? That's all you have to say about it?"
"I mean, what else do you want me to say? Go into detail about how creamy the cheese is?"
"I don't know, I was just expecting….. more."
"I think you forget this is Rally we're talking about. That's all you're gonna get. You'll be lucky to get more." Becky F. said.
"I know. And you don't know how nerve-wracking it is sometimes. It's like pulling teeth to get her to talk about stuff back at home."
"Okay, now you're exaggerating." Rally said, picking up and putting plastic bottles in the recycling bin that Donny had brought out. " Saving Private Ryan, remember?"
"Which was a World War II movie. And what did it have? Shooting and guns."
"So what? It's a good movie. People just think of Vin for Fast and Furious. And I think that's a disservice to the rest of his work before that movie."
"And Iron Giant." Kise added.
"He's in that movie?"
"Yep."
"Huh. Well that's good to know. Admittedly I've never seen it though."
"Wait, you mean you've never watched Iron Giant?" May asked.
"Nope."
"Well, we're going to make sure we watch that together next!"
"I thought we were doing video game movies next?"
"Start with MK." Kise suggested, passing by with pizza boxes to throw away.
"MK? I don't think you're talking about the one from the Mario Kart challenge so what is it?"
"Mortal Kombat, silly." May said.
"Oh. Is it good?"
"In terms of video game movies at that time, yeah. But for the most part, there was a reason why those adaptations were looked down on a lot for a while. Don't watch Annihilation though."
"I heard Annihilation was garbage. That true?" Sendo asked, overhearing them.
"As a person that sat down to watch it myself for completion's sake, yes."
"Glad I didn't watch it then. Not into games like that, but I was interested in the martial arts. First movie was cheesy but alright."
"Garbage? It's is a waste of time and a waste of space. Calling it that is giving it more credit than it ever f[censored]ing deserves. So congrats Kise, that's time you'll never get back." Rick said.
"Jeez." Kise said.
"What? You actually found something enjoyable?"
"I mean, I wouldn't go into that much detail. I'll be honest, as weird as this sounds, I just can't say I have that much hate for movies, shows and whatnot. Even the ones that I can genuinely say aren't good."
"You're being way too positive for your own good. And for the people making those movies." Octavia remarked as she passed him a box to throw away.
"I can understand why people don't like certain things. It's just…. I don't know. I just don't think I could ever get that mad."
"Coming through!" Tangle said before throwing several boxes into the trash with her tail, sending some of the scraps on Octavia's head, to her annoyance, with Razer using his ring to stop trash from falling on his head too.
"And in your case, too enthusiastic for your own good." Octavia said to Tangle.
"Maybe enthusiasm is what we need to go faster."
"We're already going fast enough. And not putting trash on people on top of it."
But the lemur wouldn't hear this as she was already off to get more trash.
"Sometimes it pays to be invisible." Mayuzumi joked, though in his usual tone as he threw away several pans that had brownies and cheese sticks.
"Not. Funny." Octavia said, wiping off sauce off her hat.
"A joke?" Blake said before gasping. "He's evolving."
"And now you're overreacting." Mayuzumi said before knowing it was his time to leave.
Even Grogu, in an adorable fashion, pitched in by sending a couple of bottles into the trash, with everyone watching as he did.
"You did it! That's two! Wooooo!" Ruby cheered as she clapped with several people looking at her.
"Why do you have to be so extra sometimes?" Weiss said.
"Come on, am I the only one that's happy for him?"
"We are. We're just not doing all of that."
Ruby pointed at the Deimon manager. "Mamori clapped too!"
"And she kept it at that. You see how Din reacted."
"Actually you can't see. He's got a helmet on." Scott said.
"Idiot." Aomine said.
"Quiet you! I knew that!" Weiss said.
"I'm sure Din's happy. He's just silently happy. You never know, he might be smiling under that mask." Ruby said.
"Helmet." Blake corrected.
"Force of habit. Comic books."
"By the way, I scanned teammate Din's vitals. He is indeed human." Penny said before there was an awkward silence at this random piece of information.
"Well, that's good to know." Hailey remarked, trying to break the awkward silence and give the android some type of response to the innocent observation.
"I told you he wasn't a robot." Riley said to Todd.
"No you didn't!" Todd insisted. "You said, and I quote,' If in fact he actually was one, which I seriously doubt.'"
"Interesting you can remember that, but you can't seem to remember when homework's due."
"There's so much of it, it's easy to get the dates mixed up. And by the way, as for the video game movies thing, don't watch them. They suck. And anyone that knows this and still watches them is a dummy."
"Maybe they want to see if the movie actually is bad?"
"Or there's reviewers. They get paid doing that type of stuff." Louie added.
"Anyone that's not making money off it, laughing at it, or using it as a form of torture or bribery. There, happy now?" Todd added.
"Torture or bribery?" Becky B. repeated, confused.
"Some movies can be so bad, they're a torture to watch. So yes, torture or bribery."
"That should be the last of it." Kurt said, throwing out more trash along with Din, Shiro and others.
"We can head back now." Din said.
"Wait, that's it? We're done?" Todd said in disbelief.
"What do you mean 'we'? You were yapping for most of the time, so more people got stuff done compared to you." Riley said as they all headed back to the lair.
"Uh huh. That's rich coming from the person that all I heard was yapping about princesses and ponies and stuff with Becky over there."
"You can multitask." Becky B. remarked.
"Whatever. Congrats though."
"Congrats on what?"
"For being the first friend that Riley made here."
"….Okay?"
"I think that was supposed to be an insult. An insult that doesn't hold any merit because it's not true. Of course, this is coming from the person who doesn't have any here." Riley said.
"I thought Louie was his friend." Ruby said.
"We're not friends! We're business partners!" Todd corrected.
"What he said." Louie added.
"Business partners yet there's no business in sight." Maki said.
"The business is winning this season."
"So are we like, associates?" Dewey asked.
"Actually, yes. Let's go with that."
"No, we're not associates and there is no business! We all work together as one big team." Huey said.
"Besides, you're two of the last people that are going to have a chance at winning this season." Fiona said.

"Great. You're back. Just need a couple more minutes and we'll be good to go. You guys can just wait here. This is on us now." Donnie said to them as the four turtles, Case and April were seen carrying things.
"Thank you. Your help is greatly appreciated." Splinter said to them.
"Yeah sure thing." Todd said to him. "But anyways, I'd like to hear how you think we've gotten this far off the backs of our teammates." He said to Fiona.
"The Monsuno challenge, the first thing you did instead of play was hit Karin on the head to knock her out. The quiz challenge, even if you didn't participate in it, your stupid rumors about people liking each other robbed us of points. The World Tournament challenge, in that mansion. What did Louie do other than the same thing over and over again? Din did most of the work. And he probably might have even gotten away with it had Hiruma not come up with a scheme."
"All I'm hearing is excuses and cope. Hiruma also said that if you want to stop it, beat it. That's the only reason you guys keep bringing up literally the same things about us over and over again." Louie said. "And by the way, you left one out: The list challenge."
"The list challenge? You-" Todd started before Louie immediately covered his mouth.
"Too late. Louie, what did you do?" Huey asked suspiciously.
"I… asked for help?"
"Which means you were going to lie about doing your item on the list yourself. Come on, there's nothing wrong with asking for help. Hiding it just so you can prove you can carry your own weight like the others here is only going to hurt us."
"Look, I'm sorry, okay? Besides, we're all still here. No harm, no foul. Fight another day. Which is today. Are we doing fighting again? I've been seeing that as a trend a lot."
"One, apology accepted. Two, I don't know, actually."
"Well, you'll get to find out now." Donnie said, overhearing them as they reentered. "Welcome folks to today's challenge!"

"I don't have any proof other than knowing we think alike, for the most part anyway, but I'm almost certain he was going to spill the beans about Murasakibara helping us. Which would have raised some red flags for multiple people here. If anyone finds out about the alliance, we're cooked. Becky's not stupid, Murasakibara doesn't really look like the type to really care and Reimu's done this before. And she's friends with her. Which only leaves us. What do you think's going to happen?"

"Today's challenge may or may not be a short one. Not a guarantee so don't get your hopes up. You'll play games from all seven of the faces here. One each, so seven games. Win the game, you get a point If you're last, you gotta send someone home. Got it?" Chris explained.
No one seemed to say otherwise, so Chris continued.
"And that's all from me. They'll go about explaining the rest to you."
"Greetings. I apologize for not formally introducing myself to you all. I wanted you to be able to spend time with each other, my sons and friends Casey and April, without feeling any indirect pressure of me watching over." Splinter began. "I am Master Splinter. And as you already know, these are my students, and sons, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello. And as for April and Casey, they are friends. And in the case of the former, also a student of mine." He then approaches Ben. "It has been so long. Even though you look different, I can never forget a face. Or the soul within, Tennyson."
"Yeah. Really nice to see you again. I still can't thank you and your sons enough for willing to help me, Gwen and Grandpa out." Ben said. "Speaking of which, I know I missed the part where April and Casey got married within those six years. What about Bishop? Is he and his EPF guys still running around?"
"Yes, but like most other things, including our lair, things have changed. We're allies now. Heck, he along with Karai and the Foot, are the reason we even have this new place to stay." Donnie answered.
"You and Raph were on teams together in the last season. Did he not tell you this?" Leo asked.
"Didn't think about asking honestly." Ben answered.
"Nor did I think about tellin' him." Raph added.
"Yeah. For the most part, Leo's our lore dump guy. Of course, we'll pitch in with our own stuff when the time calls for it." Mikey said. "And he's also the guy that's gonna show off his work to the class first! Mr. Leo Splinterson, if you will please walk to the front of the room and share what you have made." He added, in a formal teacher voice on the last senetence.
"Why certainly Mr. Eastman." Leo replied.
"Mr. Eastman? Where'd you get that name from?"
"I didn't want it to be Splinterson too. So I just came up with something random." Leo sad as he stepped up to explain his game.
"Alright, so your first game for today will be dueling. But, to the sadness of Mikey, it will not be Duel Monsters dueling."
"That needs to be a challenge this season though. You taking notes, Chris?"
"I'll keep it in mind. No promises." Chris said.

Chris:
"I already got it reserved. So I'm sure Mikey and Bakura will be happy to hear about it. I just need to make the call and say the word when I'm ready. Slight spoiler but whatever. It's not like you know when it is, unlike when Amanda stole my challenge list. Yes, I'm still peeved about that by the way. Having to make changes on the fly like that with no planning whatsoever is a pain in the butt."

"This will be a dueling match with weapons, styled very similar to the Battle Nexus. So these may go by quickly. Also, to prevent any type of advantage, weapons will be provided for you." Leo explained.
"Don't worry, we've got weapons for you that'll be good substitutes to make sure you're not feeling forced to use something you're not comfortable with." Donnie said.
"To win, you'll need to take down your opponent and keep them down for three seconds or force them to yield. Any abilities used is an instant forfeit. And that does it for the rules. Does anyone have any questions?"
"So, where are we going to fight?" Maki asked.
Leo gestured to an area where there was a rug and nothing else in that area. "This is where our sparring usually takes place. So your battles will take place here. Win two bouts and you'll win this game overall and earn the first point for your team. So, go ahead and get together and choose your representative for this game."
"We get to choose? Great!" Isagi said.
"Why are you excited? You're not a fighter." Louie said.
"Who says I can't fight? You haven't seen me do it yet."
"Okay, then you go ahead and play this first game then."
"I wouldn't go that far. Just like you wouldn't."
"True. Anyways, who are we sending out there?"
"Send Weiss' star student out there and see what he does." Todd suggested.
"No!" Weiss and Aomine said simultaneously.
"It was a joke. Jeez."
"Send me in. I'll take care of it." Maki declared.
"Are you sure?" Weiss asked.
"Yeah. I got it."
"Any objections?"
"Just get it done." Skipper said to her.
"I plan on it."
"With how easy she was bench pressing earlier, she needs to go." Aomine said.
"That's right! Her strength! You may not be able to use abilities but physical strength isn't something you can restrict." Isagi said.
"Asta, you're up!" Miyuki called out very loudly.
"So I might actually get the chance to go up against Asta in a real fight? Now I'm definitely looking forward to this." Maki said.
"HA! Robo-swordsman! Let's go!" Hiruma called out, just as loud.
"Got it. I'll take care of it." Zero said.
"Alright, Donnie, if you will?" Leo said.
"Asta and Maki are the first match!" Said turtle announced.
An assortment of weapons were laid out by Casey and Donnie.
"Alright, I'm sure you know this but, no holding back. I want to see everything you've got." Maki said to him.
"Don't have any plans too. I want to win. And besides, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited to fight you and Zero. I just wish he was using his real energy sword." Asta replied.
"Trust me, I wish I was too." Zero said, trying to get familiar with the sword that he had along with other weapons.
"I don't know why he's doing this, when he knows he'll just use a sword." Axl commented as Asta and Maki prepared for battle, taking opposite sides.
"Is he really capable of using other stuff too?" Tangle asked.
"Yeah. But he'd prefer to use a sword. His Z-Saber to be exact." X answered.
"So much so that his buster pretty much gets no love." Axl joked. "Then there's X who's the exact opposite."
"And then there's you with your weapons." Tangle added.
"At least they're diverse. Hiruma, Rally and Din can eat their hearts out. Power and variety."
"Variety don't mean nothin' if you don't know how to use it." Bobo said.
"My thoughts exactly." Rally said.
"Are you ready?" Leo asked both Asta and Maki. Both nodded as they were already in battle stances. Maki was using a staff while Asta was using a sword. "Begin!"
Using the long reach of the staff, she attempted to keep Asta at bay all while trying to find any holes in his defenses, which didn't prove to be easy.
"You think we should have let them have more room somewhere else?" Raph asked.
"Not really. We've already taken away the things that'll allow them to potentially wreak havoc in here." Donnie answered.
"Her spacing's pretty good." Adrien commented.
"Spacing? We can see that captain obvious. Anyone can sound like a pro doing stuff like that. I should know. I've done it." Todd said.
"But I'm not just anyone, I use a staff myself. And I've taken fencing lessons. It's not like I'm just saying it just say it. She really looks like she knows what she's doing."
"Oh. Well excuse me. If you're that good you should have gone yourself."
"I thought about it. But Zero's just as good of a choice too."
"We'll see about that."
"Her range is giving me fits. And she's constantly changing things up so I can't react and find an opening to get a solid counter." Asta thought as the two continued to fight with Maki still keeping Asta away. "Just stay patient. You can't afford to just take dumb risks."
Suddenly, she got in his face with more aggressive, closer ranged attacks that caught him off guard, which is when things started to pick up.
"Going aggressive huh? Two can play at that game!" Asta said before attacking back.
They exchanged attacks until Asta was the one that found an opening and took it, disarming her. He was about to strike, which would make Leo call the match until she suddenly turned from reeling to turning for a kick in an instant, kicking Asta in the face hard and trying to disarm him. But, to her surprised, he wasn't willing to let go that easily, even while reeling, Both were fighting for the sword before Asta and Maki went to headbutt each other, causing several people to grimace in pain from the hits, the two people competing not being one of them, surprising enough.
But the pain wouldn't stop there. Maki would knee him in the family jewels. But Asta would punch her in the face. Neither refused to let go of the sword though. Maki, using her free hand, grabbed Asta's headband and pulled it over his eyes before using her other hand to grab and pull him down to the ground. Before she could do anything else, Leo signaled them to stop.
"Game goes to Maki." Leo announced.
"I'm just glad it's over. That had to hurt." Myron commented.
"Not to them it seems." Fiona added.
"Wow. That Asta kid has definitely got balls of steel on him." Scratch commented.
"Can we not talk about that? Thanks." Rex said, his hands being around that area.
"It's time like this I'm glad I'm not human." Beta commented.
"Have you ever wished you were?" Scott asked.
"Eh, not really."
"Good game. Guess that makes us even huh?" Asta said after Maki helped him up, as he adjusted his headband back.
"Yep. No hard feelings on that earlier. It was either the neck or that. And I'd rather not seriously hurt you. Too much." She replied.
"Trust me, I've taken a lot harder hits than that. And besides, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. And think outside the box to win."
"I'll keep that in mind. And yeah to that last part too. Miyuki and Hiruma have made that their specialties."
Asta laughed. "You know, you're right about that." His expression immediately went back to normal. "But next time, if we do go against each other again, I'll be sure to beat you."
"We'll see about that. Although, it's pretty clear I'm not gonna be able to get away with hitting you where it really hurts though. Or at least it should."
"And you definitely won't be able to do it against Zero either I think. Because you're going against him next." Chris said.
"Hope you're ready. You're gonna need more than tricks like that to beat me. Z-saber or not." Zero said to her.
"I know people say a win is a win, but I'd be lying if I said beating someone straight up doesn't feel as good as any other way. Hell, it feels way better." Maki said as they got into stances to fight.
"Because then it just shows they're straight up better than you." Zero finished. "Which is what I'm about to prove now."
"And you're also proving that someone really turned up that confidence meter on you. A meter that's about to be turned back down."
"Ready?" Leo asked the two. They silently nodded. "Begin!"
Even though both used swords, Zero was a completely different beast compared to Asta. The two had different styles so it was hard to say who was better. But it's easier to tell who's who. Zero's was a lot quicker compared to Asta's, who also had strength on his side as well.
And if Maki had to be honest, she probably took the worst of the headbutt. Her head felt like it was pulsing as they fought. But it definitely didn't seem like it.
"You know, there was someone here just like you that said they could beat me." Zero said, using his speed to keep pressure on Maki while taking his time at the same somehow.
"Let me guess, they won?"
"Yeah."
And not long after, Zero was able to do the same thing. Grabbing him and any of the other tactics that she tried like tripping him or grabbing him with her legs didn't work. He immediately read and shut down all of those attempts, leading to a hypothetical fatal blow that Leo stopped.
"And now you're the second." Zero said before helping her up.
"Unfortunately. But there's no use crying about it. I'll get you next game."
" If there's one. That's not a guarantee."
"Hey Asta, do me a solid and make sure there's a next game, alright?"
"Trust me, I'd like nothing more than to get that rematch with you." Asta said.
"Rematch? Those two should be ready for when the game's over." Hailey commented.
"Even if they are, they're not the type to just give in. Especially Asta. They're going to want to see this through." Hanamiya said.
Just then, Asta walked over to get into a stance slower than normal.
"Alright! Let's go!" Asta exclaimed.
"This doesn't look good. From the jump I can tell something's wrong with him. It can't be his head. He's taken tougher. Or did it really hurt that much? Maki seems to be just as tough as he is. Or is it his….. there? No! Maybe it's just his head! Yeah, h-his head!" Noelle thought.
"Hey, Noelle are you good? Then again, I can understand why you're nervous given the situation." Hinata asked, noticing the strange face she was making.
"Huh? Of course I am! Why would I not be? And I'm not worried for Asta either. I'm sure he can handle him."
Leo had already signaled for the match to start. And Zero had already smelled blood in the water as soon as he saw how slow Asta was to take a fighting stance. And began to change how he fought as such.
"Too slow!" Zero said before hitting him in the chest and stomach area before quickly going behind him to knock him down to the ground with a back elbow.
"Stop!" Leo declared after seeing what was about to happen next.
"I could commend you for hanging in there. But, none of that will do much good in changing the results." Zero said to Asta, helping him up.
"Yeah, guess not." Asta replied before rejoining his team.
"And it looks like Zero has proven himself to be the best out of the three. Of course, Maki and Asta, you both fought well too. But there can only be one winner." Leo said.
"Which means the Rats get first scratch this challenge! Next!" Chris said.
"Don't worry about it. You'll get the next one." Kaz said.
"Next one? Considering how he was looking, I don't know if there will be a next one for right now." Kageyama said.
"So Zero beat him. That just further proves how good he is more than anything. You can't get mad at Asta for trying."
"I'm not mad at him for that. You didn't see what happened in that fight against Maki?"
"You mean the headbutt?"
"No not the headbutt! The other hit!"
"What other hit?"
"Kaz, there's no way you can be this blind." Fiona said.
"I really have no clue what you guys are talking about."
Myron whispered something in his ear.
"Oh. Ouch. Oh yeah. I totally get where you're coming from now."
"What were you, sleeping? How did you not see that?" Kageyama asked.
"I mean, I saw it. I just didn't think that was what you guys were talking about. I felt like the headbutts were the hardest hitting attacks."
"You clearly haven't been hit there before if you think that. At least undeniably." Doyle said.
"I mean, both of em hurt. But you'll understand why a hit in the nutcrackers hurts more when you get older kid." Johnny added.
"I'm sure girls have hit you there a lot." Miyuki remarked.
"Wasn't women kid. It was objects."
"Ones they threw at you?"
"No. Ones I hit."
"Alright. Let's cut the chit-chat. Now it's time for my game." Raph said. "Some of you vets might be familiar with this one. Personally, it was one of my favorite games in the season I was in. Just a shame I couldn't play but, no use cryin' over it now. This one bein' a simple little bike race!"
"It's from the arcade challenge isn't it?" Yang asked.
"Yep."
"Sweet. I've been hoping for another shot at that challenge. I just wish Vert was here."
"Maybe you'll get your redemption. Maybe not. That's why the game is played. Donnie's a numbers guy. I'm an action one. Speaking of which, Chris, ya think that challenge is gonna make a comeback? Honestly, it was pretty good."
"No promises." The host replied.
"Are you gonna bring back the MJ music if you do?" Chef asked.
"Don't know. For one, there will probably be different games to mix things up and not have it be an exact copy-paste."
"So in other words it's coming back." Doyle inferred.
"Never said that."
"You pretty much admitted it though by talking about changes."
"Again, never said that. It was just a thought."
"Alright, whatever you say." Doyle said, hands up in surrender, signaling that he was going to lay off with further questions about it.
"So where are we going to race?" Rex asked. "On the train tracks? I'm not trying to be sarcastic. I'm serious."
"Nope! Who's ready to head topside?" Raph asked.
"Topside? You mean back up to the surface? I thought there was the whole thing of you guys not being seen by people?" Doyle asked.
"Trust me, look at the time. No one's gonna be where we're going. And if someone is there, there's a decent chance that they might be up to somethin'. And I don't mean a good somethin'. Well, time's a wastin'. Let's go!"
Everyone went behind them but Splinter.
"Master Splinter. Are you not coming with us?" Leo asked.
"If they say three is a crowd, what does that make all of you? Even at 1 in the morning?" Splinter said.
"Man, it's so easy to forget how late it is." Sena said.
"Yeah. Usually this is my sleep time for school. Thank goodness I don't have to go or I'd be in a heap of trouble." Morty said.
"I think this is most people's normal sleep time for school. Unless they're in college." Isagi said.
"Now that I think about it, Master Splinter does have a point. I'm not too keen on bringing that many of you out there in the middle of the night, especially if all of you aren't even going to play." April said.
"So we only bring the guys out that are gonna play. Problem solved. Alright, so like Leo's game, you guys are only gonna need one person. But in this case, all three of you are gonna race together. So, go ahead and make your picks. And before ya ask, no, I'm not lending you my Shell Cycle. Better figure somethin' out if you don't got a ride to bring here." Raph said.
"Come on, I want my second chance." Yang pleaded to her team.
"I know how much you want this, but your Bumblebee's not faster than Rex. I mean, I could upgrade it….." Ben said.
"I'm not watching you take apart my bike. Even if you are one of the few people I'd allow to touch it."
"No I mean actually use Upgrade on it."
"Oh. Well, that would be cool. But, I feel like that might be considered cheating so no."
"Yeah, count me out. I seriously doubt Dax is gonna give me another bike anytime soon after what happened last time." Bren said. "And by the way, who says we can't do it? I mean, we still have to figure out where the rides are going to come from."
"If you really want to find out, just ask." Isagi said before asking Chris if they were allowed to use Ben as Upgrade to upgrade a bike.
"That's up to Raph, not me." Chris said.
"I'm pretty sure the other teams got ways to counter, so what the heck? Besides, my bike was made by my genius bro." Raph answered.
"Please, please, please let me do this." Yang said, even putting her hands together.
"Hold on a second. Didn't you already technically do this in the bike race we had?" Courtney asked.
"I mean yeah but, this is actually 1v1….v1. This is almost like that race in the arcade challenge."
"I know how much you want this, but give Rex a chance. Think about it, combine his build with Upgrade and we could potentially get something that can't be beat." Weiss said.
"Sorry sis. But I have to put my foot down on this one and agree with Weiss. The team comes first." Ruby added.
"Can Ben even combine with Rex's builds?" Isagi asked.
"Yep." Both mentioned contestants said simultaneously.
"Really!? That's awesome! Can we see?"
"With how everyone's talking, you'll get to see it in action in the next couple minutes." Rex said.
"If he's our fastest option, then we go with him." Din said.
"Agreed. You'll get your chance at a later time Yang." Akashi said.
"Alright. But you better win or else you're going to see why I could have made it as a pro wrestler." Yang said to Rex and Ben.
"Since when did you want to be a pro wrestler?" Ruby asked.
"Never. I'm just saying I could have been one. I've got the holds, looks and personality down to make it. I just need a cool wrestling name to finish it off."
"Firecracker duh."
"Decent, but not explosive enough for my tastes."
"Play the heel. It can be fun if done right." Ben suggested.
"Stop butting in and go Upgrade already! Although, that's not a bad idea."
"Not until everyone else is ready. You forget the form time is limited."
"They are already done." Rook said to him.
"Huh?" He looked over and saw X and Launch already waiting. "Oh."
"You think you're not the only one with that idea? We'll crush your combination." Albedo said to Ben.
"In your dreams. You've yet to see me and Rex work together."
Albedo changes into Negative Upgrade. "And you have yet to see the combination of a Galvanic Mechamorph and an advanced Reploid from the future!"
"Too long man. Shorten it and you pull that off way smoother."
"Pull what off?"
"Never mind."
"I almost feel bad for Launch though. She's basically by herself." Rex said. "Almost. If this was her blonde self she'd try to shoot me so yeah."
"By herself? I guess you forgot." Jenny said before changing into a bike.
"Yeah, I completely forgot you could do that. Guess we're all even now."
"Even? You'll see just how wide the margin is between us when we start." Albedo said.
"Alright, all six of you guys, come on and head topside with us." Leo said.
"Are you still gonna stay Master Splinter?" Mikey asked.
"Yes. I trust you will do well to keep yourselves hidden and not cause too much of a disturbance. And besides, who else will provide extra commentary and words of wisdom?" Splinter answered.
The twelve plus Chris and company then proceeded to head topside to Central Park.
"Go ahead and get your bikes while I take care of something real quick." Leo said, a box in hand before quickly running off.
"Central Park. A nice night for a relaxing stroll." Donnie said.
"Speaking of stroll, I remember this is where Casey and Raph went for their first date." Mikey joked.
"Real funny. Aren't you supposed to be helping him out?"
"Oh, right." Mikey said before running off.
" In all seriousness though, Casey chose this spot as the place to challenge me for a rematch. Both of us used our bikes. And I kicked his shell."
"You just had to mention that part didn't you?" Casey said.
"You would have done the same thing."
"Yeah, you're right." Casey said, laughing a little.
"So what are they doin'? Just racin' around the park?"
"That's exactly it. They're gonna start from right here at this bench. Then loop around the park back to this same bench. And no, ya can't just go forward, turn the bike around and come back and say you're done."
"But how are they gonna know that?" Casey asked as X returned with a vehicle to use.
"That's what Leo's doin' right now. Markin' a path for them to take."
"Ahhh. Gotcha."
Raph repeated the rules to X when he returned.
"Get back here first and that's a point, no questions asked. So, go ahead and get on and let's get this show on the road!"
Ben and Rex nodded before the former changed into Upgrade before going into the latter's chest.
"Okay, that wasn't what I expected." Isagi commented before a suit made from Upgrade was seen on Rex.
"Trust me, you haven't seen anything yet." Ben and Rex said simultaneously with Ben sticking his head out from a shoulder.
"Didn't I tell you to stop doing that?" Rex reminded him.
"Sorry. Forgot."
Rex changed into an upgraded version of the Rex Ride, now known as the Swift Rocket.
"Like I said before, that isn't impressive. At least, compared to what we can do." Albedo said before using Negative Upgrade to merge with X's ride chaser.
"Alright, let's get started!" X declared.
"Everyone else but us gets upgrades. Yeah, we're doomed." Zak said.
"Don't count us out just yet. Who needs upgrades?" Jenny said before changing into a motorcycle. "I am the upgrade!"
"Doesn't mean anything if you can't back it up. Prove it." Bass said to her.
"Oh I'll prove it alright." Jenny said. "Launch, I hope you're ready. The training wheels go off!"
"You had training wheels on? Why?" Rex asked.
"No. That was only for Tuck for a bit. But I kinda did try to hold back when I raced with Nimona. This time? I'm going all out."
Launch tightened her helmet, already having a feeling that this was about to be one wild ride.
"Alright. Everyone line up!" Raph called out.
The three, as best as they could, made sure the fronts of their vehicles were lined up with each other as much as possible.
"Ready?"
Rex put on his goggles.
Launch adjusted her helmet again.

"GO!"
All three immediately sped off. But it wasn't your normal speed off.
"How much you wanna bet they're gonna be back in under a minute?" April said to the others.
"No way. They gotta have some type of control. Or else they're gonna be all over the place." Casey replied.
Turns out, Casey was wrong. They were all over the place.
"Maybe try not to hit the trees?" Ben said to Rex.
"What, you think I want acorns falling on top of my head on purpose, what do you think I'm trying to do?" The latter replied before slicing through a trash can that was flying towards him due to Jenny and Launch accidentally running into it. Trash was seen all over the place.
"I hate that we're causing all of this collateral damage just for a race." X commented.
"I see multiple locals picking up the garbage and repairing the damages all the time. Stop distracting yourself over something as nonsensical as that." Albedo said.
"That still doesn't make it any less okay for us to do it."
"Just as it doesn't make it any less okay for you to be in last place! Now focus!"
A green and black spiked fist was seen flying at Jenny and Launch, who jumped high over a bench to avoid it. The fist ended up destroying a birdbath and sending bits of it into a tree.
"You're not trying to avoid the trees huh?" Ben said to Rex sarcastically.
"What was that? That's not racing!" Jenny called out, now barely holding onto first, with the others catching up due to the air hangtime.
"Look, we've already trashed probably like half the park already. What's a little more going to hurt? Besides, if you stayed still, we wouldn't have to see birds lose a place to bath." Rex said before X hesitantly fired a shot from the bike's now improved frontal cannon at Rex which missed because of said hesitation. "See? He's doing it too!"
"Oh wow, what great logic mister 'I want to cure people'." Ben said.
"Okay, I won't argue that that sounds bad, but don't act like you're a saint either!"
"At least I didn't try to justify it."
"You had the shot! Forget the damages! If you're accurate, you won't have to worry about needing to hold back!" Albedo implored X.
Shots were suddenly being fired by a reluctant Launch.
"And now they're doing it too. You have no reason to restrain yourself anymore!"
Even with all of the mayhem that was happening in the park, credit had to be given to them for the fact that they still were trying not to deviate from the path that was set for them.
"Another day, another place ruined." Doyle commented. "I can't even say this is a gag. Or even intentional."
"Welcome to pretty much every mission I've done with Fairy Tail." Lucy said. "Why do you think I haven't exactly been as animated as you guys have been?"
"But now it's happening to the parks. I don't know Chris, something's gotta give." Diego said.
"Don't look at me. This wasn't my idea to have it in a park." Chris said. "Look at Raph. Look at yourselves. They didn't have to go that fast number one. Number two, they didn't have to shoot at each other either."
"You mean, this is something that is a normal occurrence?" Splinter asked.
"Eeyup."
"Though in most cases, this usually happens at around like the end of the challenge so again, Chris gets off scot-free because he immediately pulls everyone out." Lucy said.
"I see…. I know all of you have no ill-intent. This is just from a strong will to win. Of course, there are limits." Splinter said as Rex was able to get a clean hit on Jenny, knocking both of them away before the robot immediately changes back into her robot form, grabs Launch and then changes back to get back on the road instantly, landing in first place again.
"Come on! How is that not cheating!?" Rex said.
"So that's cheating but trying to knock people off with a giant fist isn't?" She countered as they went over a bridge.
"You started it. Now we're gonna return the favor!" Launch, now in her bad personality, changing mid-air and shooting at Rex and X.
"Your abilities. We need something to turn the tide in our favor. Use them!" Albedo said to X.
"I still need to be in control. But you're right. I might have something. I just hope that I don't have to use it again today." X said before bullets hit him. Though the bullets bounced off him and Albedo harmlessly.
Time stopped in place for a few seconds. But that was all he needed to take the lead and win with not too much difficulty, besides a scare at the end from Jenny trying the same thing again when time resumed, to catch up and steal first. But it was already too late as she was about a couple seconds behind.
"Hey Don, how long was that?" Raph asked.
"About two minutes." Don answered.
"Which meant it probably would have been faster without all the distractions to divert their attention." April said.
"Probably. But at the very least, you can't say it was a complete blowout."
"It would have been a lot easier had you done that sooner." Albedo said to him after leaving the vehicle and returning to normal.
"Not entirely. I already used it once recently. I'm not sure if it's as limited as Jotaro's, but I can't stop it forever." X replied.
"Which is exactly why I said the game needs to be played. Anything can happen." Raph said.
"Alright, looks like that's a point for you guys again. Now, we head back to the lair for my game." Donnie said.

"As much as I could complain about the time stuff, which I really, really, really want to, I won't. And that's only because it could be worse. You could have people that could time travel and change challenge outcomes so that they'd be able to win the whole show. And plus, at least there's a limit to their time stopping anyway. For one, they can't do it forever. And two, it looks like anyone that can do it too can't be stopped so they could easily be countered."

"Alright, so the first two games were pretty good warm-ups to get your adrenaline flowing I will say that. Especially the previous one. Now it's time to test out your brainpower." Donnie said.
"A brain game huh? No surprise there." Casey said.
"If you're gonna do a brain game, at least make it fun. Throwing out times tables with big numbers is not fun." Todd said to the turtle.
"Oh no. Times tables isn't even close to what I was aiming for when coming up with this idea." Donnie assured. "For this game, you're going to be heading into the digital world! So pick your rep and your partner and let's get digital!"
"A partner huh? Should be a no-brainer to get two brains in then." Kagami said.
"The question is, who?" Tangle said.
"Why not get some guys in that haven't played recently?" Kise said.
"Just choosing people on a whim is a good way for us to lose! Don't listen to him!" Hiruma said.
"Sorry. Was just making a suggestion."
"Give me the first spot. Don't care who the second spot goes to as long as they're not braindead. I'd prefer it'd be Morty though." Rick declared.
"I don't know Rick. A-as much as I'd like to, don't you find it odd that he wants us in the virtual world for this one?" Morty asked. "With no explanation as to what we're doing?"
"Already aware of that. Which is why I said they need to be competent and not braindead."
"Why don't you let me have a crack at it? And if push comes to shove where we need to battle, I've got my powers as a security blanket." Becky B. proposed.
"Security blanket? I am the security blanket. Try again."
"How can you have preferences on the person your looking for and then say you're the security blanket too? Do you basically want to do everything? Because you can't. That's why I should help."
"And what am I, chopped liver?" Bennett said.
"Considering your problems with Rick, especially your older self, I don't think you need to be anywhere around each other. Hence why I volunteered."
"And ignore all of the other people that are just as capable. Got it."
"This is no time to be picky or having egos. I agree that Rick is a good first option. But we need a good second option that can bring things to the table that he either isn't as good at, or can't do." Lanolin said.
"What I can't do? I can do anything. There's nothing I can't do." Rick said.
"Actually, there's one thing you can't do." Akko declared confidently.

"You do realize this challenge calls for brains, right?" Sucy said to Akko.
"Duh. Did you think I wasn't listening?" Akko said.
"Apparently not."
"Well I was."
"She's saying you're not fit for the challenge because you're stupid. And I can see why." Miyuki said.
"Why don't you stop annoying other people and worry about your own team!"
"We're already done, genius."
Myron and Hanamiya were their reps for this game.
"And so are we." Louie said.
Bren and Sophie were chosen.
"Guys, we really need to hurry this up." Becky F. said.
"Well, why don't you give it a shot?" Murasakibara proposed, in between cookie eating.
"Because I don't have a clue what this game entails. It'd be better if I knew what to expect."
"You know what? F[censored] this." Rick said before getting Morty. "Let's get this game done. In and out."
"Hey, it's VR. You should be fine." Sena said.
"So you're basically saying he can't do anything without it." Miyuki said.
"No wait! That's not what I'm saying!" Sena insisted.
"It's okay. Don't feel like you're singling him out. He's not the only one like this after all." Lotte said to him. "I think he'll be just fine."
"Thanks. I really appreciate it." Morty said before giving his team a thumbs up.
Sena gave him a thumbs up back.
"You're welcome!" Lotte said, closing her eyes with a joyful smile on her face.
The six began to go into a refined(and safer) version of the Cyber Portal that was used to battle Cyber Shredder.

"Initially I was going to play this one. But, Hanamiya insisted that he played. I don't think he's wanted to play any challenges here that much as far as I remember. So if he wants to do it that much, either it interests him, or he's got something planned. Who knows, we might get the one that we saw in the Chima challenge. I still have no clue what the heck he did to stifle the other teams like that."

"I half thought about sitting this one out. But, something's gotta give. If the Rats win again, there's almost no chance they get last. I don't think this is a challenge where I'll be able to get away with taking guys out in a non-traditional sense. So, I'll have to give the team a boost the old-fashioned way."

The three pairs were on three seemingly identical bridges, with all three wearing suits with helmets over their heads. They seemed to have been in some sort of space station. A watchtower was seen in the background along with several aliens wearing orange, red and black spacesuits, some chained. But interestingly enough, none of the pairs could see each other anywhere.
"So we're doing some sort of prison break game?" Morty asked.
"Looks like it. Just stay sharp. And watch your step." Rick said.
"Okay guys. You're in a prison belonging to the Triceratons. A galactic empire. Your job is to get a ship and escape. If you can do that first, you win this game and get a point. But be careful. If you're caught, things will get harder. Not impossible, but it'll be a lot less smoother." Donnie explained to all six pairs on comms. "Also, communications to the outside have been jammed to lessen the chance of prison breaks, so you won't be able to rely on help from friends on the outside for this one. But, you won't be defenseless!"
All six pairs were granted one weapon or tool and potentially their abilities(which was only applicable to Sophie) to defend themselves with.
"But hopefully you won't have to use them. Good luck!"
A searchlight was seen circling the prison afterwards.
"Alright, now let's get it done." Hanamiya said to Myron, pistol in hand.
"Right." Myron said before they made their way across the bridge.
Because of how the searchlights circled around the bridge when they got to them, the pairs were forced to either duck or jump over them. Stepping back would have only put them in the searchlight. And using Monsuno or even Slazor, would have only made it easier for them to get caught.
"If only we had known it was a stealth mission. She doesn't happen to know any invisibility spells does she?" Sly commented.
"Not that I know of." Isagi said. "Also, this isn't a mission. It's a game."
"Oh. Right. Force of habit."
An alarm was heard.
"Alright. Who messed up first?" Kageyama said.
"All three apparently." Diana said.
"All three!? No way."
"Morty! What did you do!?" Rick said to him.
"I-I don't know! I guess I mistimed my jump or something!" Morty answered.
"S[censored]! Myron played it too safe and got himself caught because of it. Dumba[censored]!" Hanamiya thought as Triceraton soldiers appeared on all three pairs on both sides of the bridge. "If we lose and the Rats win, it'll be his fault!"
Of course, little did he know that all three teams were in trouble.
"Great." Sophie said sarcastically before shooting a look at Bren.
"I said 'my bad'!" Bren said.
The Triceratons were a race of Triceratops-like aliens, with all of them wearing suits and helmets that also worked as a breathing apparatus.
"Take them back to their cells!" One of the soldiers ordered on one of the pairs.
"Close your eyes!" Sophie said to Bren.
"Okay, maybe I deserve-" Bren started before Sophie called out the Boltflare spell, but using the spell to create a sphere of orange energy, blinding all of the Triceratons.
"Come on!" Sophie called out before using a double spell of Hyperstride and Nimblefire, increasing her own speed with the former and the latter creating an orange energy around Bren to increase his own.
They ran past a green monitor.
"Wait! This might be something we need!" Bren called out.
She sighed. As much as she didn't want to slow down, there was always the chance that he was right.
"Okay. But please try to make things as quick as possible."
Bren stretched his hands out, preparing to see what he was working with. "Quick is my middle name! At least from a technological pers-"
"Bren!"
"Okay! I'm goin'! I'm goin'!" The monitor came to life seconds later as he was presented with a puzzle. This puzzle involved touching squares and remembering the pattern as they descended across the screen. But recalling the order backwards and on a 30 second time limit to get three sequences correct.
"Certainly don't start you with a warm-up that's for sure." Bren commented as he observed the sequence.
Using the pistol that he had, which was apparently an ensnaring pistol, Hanamiya was able to web up most of them but a couple that fired back, forcing Hanamiya to have to dodge. It was only thanks to Myron that the last two were taken care of, thanks to Slazor.
"Took you long enough." Hanamiya said, getting up, on the verge of falling off the narrow bridge.
"Sorry. I thought about using a scan card but decided against it." Myron said.
"Jeez. He really does overthink things. At least I know I can use any one of them to get rid of the team when the time comes." Hanamiya thought.
They were the last team to get to the first monitor on their end, but not by much. They were a couple of seconds behind Rick and Morty.
"Oh s[censored, it's a puzzle." Morty said. Not long after, bug-like drones approached. "Crap. Of course it can't just be a puzzle and that's it." His distraction made him miss some sequences, along with having to dodge a laser shot.
"You're already at the monitor. You do that, I'll take care of the fighting." Rick said, pulling out a laser pistol to shoot at the bugs.
Bren was the first to finish with Hanamiya being the second to finish the puzzle. Morty was the only one to get it wrong and got punished for it by getting shocked.
"Goddamn it Morty!" Rick said, still shooting more bug drones as they appeared.
"These consoles are what you need to shut down some security protocols. You can skip them, but I can't guarantee things will be easier for you if you do." Donnie said to the teams.
"F[censored] it. With you messing that up we might be behind. Let's just skip it." Rick said to him.
"No, wait! I want to do it!" Morty said. "I think I only messed up because I didn't see all of the colors I was supposed to press."
"You wanna prove you can do stuff and not risk us getting kicked out, do it on the next monitor. And next time, don't get distracted. I told you I got the fighting!"
"Okay, fine. I hope you're right."
"Of course I'm right! Now stop talking and let's go!" Rick said before the alarm stopped blaring. The searchlight reappeared again. And this was the case for the other teams too.
All three were able to get to the second monitor. Well, everyone did, but not everyone was able to get there without setting the alarm off. The one group that did being Bren again.
"Guess I went too fast." Bren said, shrugging.
"Just get to the monitor." Sophie said to him.
Though the second that he did, he was blocked access from it.
"The Triceratons have locked down the system. You'll need to clear them out before you can access it." Donnie said to the pair.
"Did you really need to make this so complicated? The puzzle stuff's okay. Now you're just bein' extra just to be extra." Aomine asked the turtle.
"If you're lookin' for Don, he's not here." Raph said.
"Yeah. He's somewhere in another room. At the very least, you can't say he doesn't care about his game." Leo said.
"Midorima levels of extra." Aomine commented. "I bet you'd love it though." He said to Weiss.
"If the puzzles are challenging, of course." She said.
"See?"
"You must realize that not everything comes easy. They are called challenges for a reason." Splinter said.
"Yeah I know that but…."
"Just admit that you don't like puzzles." Isagi said.
"It's not the puzzles. It's the other stuff."
Speaking of puzzle, the next puzzle was a circuit path puzzle. This puzzle involved placing circuit pieces on a board to create a path from the green end to the orange end along with using positive and negative voltage pieces on some parts to reach the target voltage, which was -2. They had 30 seconds to solve it.
But, when Hanamiya got there, he was locked out. Donnie had informed the teams that once one member of the pair completes a puzzle, it's the others turn to solve the next one. And the rotations continue for each monitor and puzzle. So now it was Myron's turn to solve it.
"Let's see. Looks like there's some pieces here already placed on the board. But I don't know if I should remove them or not." Myron said as he looked at the board.
"Get them away from the monitor!" A soldier called out. Instead of bugs, regular Triceraton soldiers were sent out to try to stop them and eventually, the other pairs that tried to access the monitor.
"Longfang! Let's clear them out and give Sophie the time she needs! You take one side, Shellshot gets the other!" Bren declared.
Despite him trying his best to fend them off by himself, Hanamiya was starting to get overwhelmed.
"I hate to admit it, but I need help!" Hanamiya said, almost getting hit by a few rifle shots.
"Slazor! Splash Lancer!" Myron called out. Said car sent out a wave of water at one side while Hanamiya handled what was on the other while said racer got back to trying to solve the puzzle.
"I got it!" Morty called out. From the screen that was seen, lasers were now disabled.
"Good job. Now let's go before more shows up." Rick said.
Myron was the second to finish but barely before time expired. Same with Sophie. Both sighed in relief.
Other than tougher forces, the searchlight wouldn't disappear until the fourth monitor was cleared for all three teams.
The final puzzle for each team was one involving different colored shapes dropping down multiple paths of lines, with some of them crossing over each other. The objective was to tap the right button the second the correct colored shape hit one of the squares at the bottom of the screen. Each of the buttons at the bottom, left to right, was linked to one of the squares.
Myron and Hanamiya were able to get to the final monitor first while Rick and Morty were able to get there second. Bren and Sophie were third. However, Bren was able to finish first, Hanamiya second, with Rick being last. And that was only because he was hit in the arm by a stray shot.
They ran to an entrance. Inside were several Triceraton ships, indicating that they were in a hangar. Several Triceraton forces were waiting for the three pairs with turrets firing at Rick and Morty as well, the one defense that they couldn't disable, which was the first one.
"Great. We get turrets and they don't. The one thing we mess up on." Kagami commented.
"You're not going anywhere!" One of the Triceraton soldiers said to Hanamiya and Myron, with this one floating in the air with a jetpack.
"I beg to differ! Slazor!" Myron called out.
"Neo-Quickforce! Launch!" Bren said before spinning out said core.
"Sabriel! Defend us!" Sophie pitches in by summoning said Titan.
"Damn it! Having one weapon isn't exactly doing us any favors!" Rick said as he and Morty were forced to take cover because of the fire.
"Then how about we take one of theirs?" Morty proposed.
"Good thinking. But we need to actually get there first." Rick said before shooting one of them in the head.
The other two teams made quick work of the Triceraton soldiers, electing to knock out all of them before proceeding to shut down the field preventing them from getting to the area where the ships were. The final puzzle was a simple spot the difference puzzle. The picture being from one of the conquered cities belonging to the Triceraton Empire(at least in this virtual recreation of them). This time, either person could solve it. And of course, like the others, it wasn't going to be given to them easy. Not because of the time limit as there was none. But because reinforcements had appeared.
"It never stops does it?" Myron commented.
"Don't worry about them. I'll hold them off. Solve that puzzle!" Hanamiya said.
"Slazor! Keep attacking until I tell you to stop!" Myron commanded.
"I thought I was gonna get something harder than this." Bren commented as he began to try to spot a difference between the two pictures.
Even with the blasters taken from the Triceratons and using them to destroy the turrets, it was still a tough ask for Rick and Morty to be able to handle all of those Triceratons as Morty was trying to hold the line while Rick tried to solve the puzzle.
"Ah ha! I figured it out!" Bren said.
"That's great. Now can you please disable the field before we're overrun?" Sophie asked.
"The f[censored]? There's nothing- that's it!" Rick said before figuring out the answer.
He hit submit without choosing any differences with the system alerting him that no changes were selected but he still wanted to proceed anyway, with a second confirmation asking if he was sure and he hit yes.
"I got it! Morty! Come on!"
"What's taking so long?" Hanamiya called out, being forced to take cover because of the several forces approaching. And Slazor was starting to run low on power from the constant non-stop attacks.
"Sorry. I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. It says no differences were selected but I can't for the life of me seem to find any. Maybe I should get a second set of eyes to see what I'm doing wrong. Sometimes that helps." Myron said.
"It's hard for me to do that while getting fired at!" Hanamiya said.
"Oh. Sorry. Then I'm going to have to figure it out." Myron said before thinking. Several seconds passed before Hanamiya was hit in the shoulder and Slazor was also hit, flipping the machine over.
"How have you not figured it out yet!?" Hanamiya asked, holding his arm before being hit again.
"I don't know! I don't see anything!"
Hanamiya was knocked down from another shot. "How? There has to be some- It's nothing! There are no differences!"
"But that can't be! The screen keeps-"
Hanamiya yelled in pain from being hit in the leg. "Forget the screen! It's tricking you! There are no differences you idiot!"
"But-"
"Submit it! Now!" Hanamiya was overwhelmed.
And before Myron could hit the screen again he was grabbed. And he was unable to get free.
Seconds later, the two were seen back in the lair, by the entrance of the Cyber Portal.
"About time you guys showed up." Mikey said.
"Kings won by the way." Raph said.
"Next game." Hanamiya said.
"Don't think I've ever seen him get that animated besides the Chima challenge." Diego said.
"After what Myron did, it makes sense. Why do you have to make everything a science project?" Fiona said to him.
"Then I'd like to see you do better!" Myron snapped.
"With puzzles like that I probably could do better!"
"Then prove it! Play the next game then and stop criticizing people that actually play while you sit on the side and watch!"
"I will!"
"I don't think that's a wise decision." Shiro said.
"Who asked you!? I'm playing whether you like it or not!"
"And just dismiss the rest of the team!? Have you lost your mind!?" Kageyama asked.
"No, but it seems like you did ages ago with how much you yell!"
"The only time I yell is when I'm mad!"
"Which is basically all the time."
"And whose fault is that I wonder?"
"Kageyama's right." Shiro said.
"What!? I've been playing well! How can you actually agree with him on this Shiro?"
"That's not what I'm talking about. I mean playing the next game. How can you already say you want to play when you don't even know what the game is? Don't lock yourself into something you don't even know you can commit too."
"Most of these games don't even seem that unique is skill specific. I should be okay. If I didn't think I was, I wouldn't have made that comment."
Shiro could only close his eyes and shake his head.
"Hey, who knows maybe she just may be good at it?" Mikey said. "Who's ready to hit the sticks on the arcade for my game folks?"
"Gaming challenge? Count me-" Toxsa started before Fiona put a hand in front of him.
"I'm almost certain I can take this challenge."
"Sorry, but your hand is not gonna stop me from doing this challenge! I'm player one for this one!" Toxsa said.
"No, I'm playing!"
"No I AM!"
"NO I AM!" Fiona yelled out, gritting her teeth in anger.
"Toxsa's our best gamer so he plays, end of story." Reagan said.
"Best gamer, now wait a minute-" Randy started.
"Look, we don't have time for arguments. Not saying you're good either Randy, but Toxsa is the one that's the most outward and vocal about him being a gamer, so he's our best bet."
"We're already on the fourth game. We must win if we want to avoid elimination!" Ryoma implored.
"Which is exactly why we're going with Toxsa."
"Don't worry guys, you're in good hands." Toxsa said.

"Alright, it's time to clutch up or shut up. I don't win this, there's a chance I might not step foot back on the island again. And I'm not ready to go home just yet."

"We probably would have it! Even the some of the supposed smart guys on this team are absolute tools at times! I'll admit that I'm not the best at everything, but I don't think I'd ever pull anything like that."

Toxsa's opponents were Sucy and Todd.
"I call this one Triceraton invaders!" Mikey said as there were now three arcade machines for them to use. "The game is simple. Destroy ships, destroy asteroids, score points. Win!"
"Classic arcade shooter huh? Simple, but difficult. Genius." Toxsa said.
"That doesn't sound too difficult at all." Rally said.
"Yeah, it doesn't sound difficult because of how simple it is. Then you play it, it's a different story. Easy to learn and get into, hard to master."
"We'll see. Let's just hope it's easy enough for Sucy to play and win."
"Win? No promises." Sucy said.
"Come on, you've gotta be more confident than that! Don't jinx it!" Akko said.
"Exactly! Look, I know you're not exactly the most energetic person, but don't say things like that." Rei added.
"I'll do my best. Happy now?" Sucy said.
Both Akko and Rei had deadpan looks on their faces after Sucy's blatant terrible effort. "Not really." The latter said.
"And I thought Murasakibara sounded uninspired." Kagami added.

"All I said was that there's no guarantee I'd win. I never said I wouldn't try to. There's Toxsa, who I already know is a pro and Todd, who's probably going to try to find the cheapest way to win. Does that sound like 'easy win' to you?"

"Alright guys. Are you ready?" Mikey asked.

The three were presented with a view of outer space on each arcade screen as they would occasionally pass by planets.
And seconds in, they were already presented with their first enemy, which was in a small pod-like spaceship. All three were able to destroy it but not before Todd took damage from a shot from it that hit.
"The game just started and you got hit. Come on man!" Aomine said.
"I was still trying to get a hang of the controls. I should be okay now." Todd said.
"So learning two buttons made you get hit. Crazy." Sucy commented.
"Uh huh. Because you knew which button to press from the jump to shoot and use a bomb!"
"Controls are on the actual machine dude." Toxsa said.
"And no one told me that because….?"
"Because maybe you were expected to use your eyes and read?" Tsukishima said.
"You mean the thing we basically have to do every day?"
"We?" He laughed.
"I know you're making fun of me four eyes! Guess what? At least I can't say I ever dated or had a crush on a creepy girl."
"Trying to counter facts with lies. Check….mate."
"Uh huh. Can't wait til that leaked footage comes out of you two making out. And when it does, you owe me!"
"Owe you what? I'm how many years older than you? If anything I could be your bully. If I was actually the type of person to stoop that low."
"If only you spent more time actually playing the game than being a poor man's Miyuki. Maybe you wouldn't be last." Sucy said to Todd.
"One, I'm not losing! Two, poor man's Miyuki? Not true, but that's a new one." Todd said.
"SHUT UP AND PLAY THE GAME!" Several people on his team yelled out.
"I'm playin'! I'm playin'! Jeez, you guys act like you can't multitask."
He actually was, in fact, losing, and was in last place.
"Man, Toxsa's absolutely locked in." Isagi said.
"This is his specialty after all. I'd hope he does do well." Mr. Wolf said.
Toxsa was consistently first throughout the game. His only mistake was being hit in an attempt to try to not use a bomb for the entire game.
After being forced to use one to avoid his health getting nuked, he went the rest of the regular path without needing one. Once they got to the boss, which was a large Triceraton cruiser, Toxsa unloaded, with Sucy and Todd jockeying for second.
"As if I'd let you get second." Sucy said before taking the time destroy more parts of the ship before destroying the base to score more points, despite taking a little longer.
"Well, looks like Toxsa puts his team on the board!" Chris announced.
"I now crown you as master gamer for the day. I must bow to your greatness." Mike said before bowing. "Of course, you two are just as good. Will the Todd disrespect continue?"
"Probably." Several people said.
"Don't worry, I'm used to it. Not gonna stop me though." Todd said. "But as for you, that was incredibly petty. The game was already over!" He said to Sucy.
"Yeah, I know." Sucy said.
"I'll make sure I remember that!"
"Uh huh."

"Only reason she'd be this petty is because of what I said. Like I said before, I was joking the first time just to throw everyone off. But to think that actually me be true? Ew! We did the same thing with Becky and Myron but at least they're not doing this over it, so I know for sure that's not really a thing. But even then, those two make more sense than this."

Toxsa flexes his muscles(or lack thereof). "Ha! What'd I tell ya? While the others were talking about 'romance' or whatever, I was locked in. The only love I have on this show is the love for my family and for the game!"

"Alright, now let's get to game five baby! Arm wrestlin'!" Casey exclaimed. "Here's how this is gonna work! Ya lock em up, ya test ya strength, ya smack talk, and then ya try to throw each other's arm down! First team that can rack up four, count em, four wins, gets a point!"
"He is making this sound way more exciting than it actually is." Becky B. whispered.
"I mean, points for originality. Surprised this wasn't done the last season I was in when we did thumb wrestling. Thumb wrestling!" Ben whispered back.
"So how is this even going to be done? Strength widely varies between us. If I go up against Maki right now, there is an honest chance she might unintentionally hurt me. Even if it's a little." Becky F. asked.
"Now you're being overdramatic with the hurting part." Rally said.
"Say that and go up against Asta who just tanked a headbutt. I want to see if you'll feel the same way afterwards."
"I get your point, it's the overreacting."
"It's not overreacting!"
Rally waved her off. "Whatever you say."
"Don't worry. I got all that covered already. First match! Rally versus Din!"
"Odd matchup but alright." Rally said.
"Take your seats peeps!" Casey instructed. Both sat at a table on opposite ends. "If ya never played before, don't worry! I got ya. I'm only gonna explain this once so listen up! Raph, if you'll please!"
"Uh, no table?" Raph said to him.
"We can just do it in the air. It's only just to teach 'em anyway."
"Whatever floats ya boat."
"Alright, so here's how this goes. Lock hands, like this." Casey said as both stood on opposite of each other. Both locked hands, these hands being the right had to be specific. "Left or right, doesn't matter. Whatever you wanna do, same thing. Then, when I tell ya to start, you use all the strength you can to bring the other person's arm down to the table. If you can do that, you win! If you're the person that has their hand on the table, ya lose and your down for the count! There is no countin' to 3. So you better use all the strength you got."
"Use the strength for the game. Don't try to rip anyone's hand or arm off." Fiona said, shooting a look at Asta in particular.
"Trust me, I know what I'm doing. I've played arm wrestling before." Asta replied.
"Good to know." She turned to Noelle. "Did he actually hurt someone doing it?" She whispered.
"I…. don't know actually."
"Now I'm concerned."
"And that's about it. It's one game, no second chances. So, Rally! Din! Lock em up!" Casey said.
"Don't think I'm gonna go easy on you." Rally said to him.
"Never thought you would. I won't." Din replied as they locked hands.
"Chris, I'm headed to the bathroom real quick. My bathroom." Rick said before opening a portal.
"Come on dude, there's a perfectly good bathroom in here. You know I can't just let people leave willy-nilly." Chris said.
"To be fair, you woke us up at almost midnight. I don't blame him. Besides, no offense to these guys as they're clean but, most public restrooms are disgusting. And great, now I have to go too. Chris, could you open up a portal for me?"
"Fine. And I do agree on the public bathroom part. Lot of these people that contribute to that should be ashamed of themselves. Anyone else?" Chris said.
"Yeah, I think I've gotta go too." Randy said.
"Same here." Toxsa said.
No one else said anything.
"Alright. Ready?" Casey started.

The game had started with Din already getting the advantage over her. But, to her credit, even with that early advantage, she wasn't about to quit.
"I may not be Bean, but I'm not some weak little girl!" Rally said.
Even with that declaration, it still wasn't enough. Seconds later, Din finished the job, the exact thing that Din talked about prior during the Fry Cook games.
"And that's it! Mando wins!" Casey declared.
"Good game. I'll get you next time though." Rally said to Din.
"Good game." Din replied as the two got up to make room for the next pair.
"Careful with that. I said that to Vert and look what happened." Yang joked.
"I'll take my chances. I just have to make sure I last." Rally said.
"Next up for round two! Isagi versus Kunigami!" Casey announced. "Winning team stays on by the way. Forgot to mention that."
"Ready to lose again?" Isagi said to Kunigami.
"You're not beating me Isagi." Kunigami said matter-of-factly.

"Come on, that all you got? Or were all those muscles just for show Musclebob?"
Seconds later, Kunigami ended it. "That proof enough for you?" He said before getting up.
"Maybe. Unless you were holding back."
"I got no reason to hold back against you or anyone else here."
"Seems to me you've either been slacking or your workout's overrated."
Kunigami ignored him.

"I don't seriously believe in that. Kunigami, even when he came back from the Wild Card, has still been consistently one of, if not the hardest worker left at Blue Lock when it comes to working out. Hell, that's pretty much all he does here I think when there's no challenges. Eat, sleep, work out. All of that is just to try to get in his head. And it's not just reserved for him. I'll do it to others too. Doesn't matter to me."

"Next up! The culmination of brains and beauty for her team! Reagan Ridleyyyyy! Goin' up against the unstoppable, smartest man in the universe, Rick Sanchezzzzzzz!" Casey announced. "Man, I wish I had a mic."

"Say no more!" Mikey said before getting one.
"Points for enthusiasm. He's trying." Hailey said.
"Yeah. Personally, I like it." Scott added.
"When I'm done with Rick, I might get disqualified for elder abuse." Reagan said, as she got to the table.
"That's not a joke. You are." Rick replied. "Now let's get this over with."

Both tried to bring each other's arms down. But unlike the previous two, this was a stalemate for a while.
"Come on! You can't talk all that smack about Rick and have this much trouble beating him!" Doyle called out.
"Trust me, I want to get this over with! But he's…. making it a lot more difficult than I thought!" Reagan replied.
"Like I said, a joke." Rick said before he started to get the advantage.
"No…way! I am not losing to you Rick!"
In an arm wrestling sense anyway, she fought back.
"Son of a b[censored]!" Rick said before straining, bringing things back to a standstill.
"Those gramps arms are gonna tie out eventually!" Reagan said, putting a finger on her free hand on her eye quickly.
"That's what you think!"
"This is turning to one heck of a match! Who's gonna be able to turn the tide!?" Casey commentated. "Definition of brains and brawn folks! Just goes to show you're never to old to keep workin' out!"
"Work out? Rick doesn't work out." Morty said.
"Bulls[censored] Morty! That was one of my adventures with your sister." Rick said as he and Reagan continued to battle, moving one of his feet again.
A little under a minute later, "Stop the match!" was heard from Miyuki.
"What for? Just 'cause Rick's old doesn't-" Casey started before Miyuki declared that Rick cheated.
"Cheatin'? Bold statement buddy. Any evidence you got to back that up?" Casey asked.
"Easy. When he puts a foot down that shows he's activating whatever he's got to cheat. You don't find it odd that when he moves in the chair he suddenly starts to turn the tables every single time?"
"I can't stand cheating! I say check him!" Kaz declared.
"NOT SO FAST! DON'T THINK YOU CAN PULL A FAST ONE F[CENSORED]ING FOUR-EYES!" Hiruma yelled out. "Reagan cheated too!" He declared, pointing at her.
"So you mean to tell me you guys think the other cheated? Oh I gotta see this." Casey said.
"They're right. They both cheated. And it started about five seconds in." Jotaro said.
Using her X-Ray vision, Penny was able to confirm that both were in fact, using devices on their arms to cheat.
"So wait, Hiruma, how did you know Reagan cheated?" Sena asked.
"Because, the same thing that annoying a[censored] catcher saw, I did. Except in her case, she'd have a longer blink than usual. She's been wearing contact lenses the whole time!" He explained.
"Well damn it. Guys, shut it down. We've been caught." She said back to her coworkers at Cognito.
"Well damn it, who gets the winnings now?" Glenn Dolphman, a dolphin-human super-soldier said back at Cognito.

"So in other words, you admit to making something that can't even stand up a product sold in stores."
"Both of you aren't that much better than the other to be honest." Octavia said.
"Says the depressed demon teen that doesn't do s[censored] but talk to Blake and poor man Kuroko and still denies being friends. Lemme guess, you've got parent issues too?"

A couple of seconds of silence, that felt longer than that occurred. "Both of them, actually." Casey said before clearing his throat a little. "Rick and Reagan are out for cheating! No points! We can get a do over though! And this one's gonna be between the two sporty sleuths! Hiruma and Miyuki!"

"If we switched places, I would have asked out that cute manager of yours already. Just my type of girl." Miyuki said to him.
Hiruma only laughed as he put up his right arm instead of his left as Miyuki expected.
"And I would have already gotten that team of yours to that four streak in the beginning of the season." Hiruma replied.
"That a fact huh?" They locked hands.
"Ready?" Casey started.

As they went against one another, neither could stop grinning at one another before cackling as well, which caused several people to look at each other, confused as to why they were both laughing without saying a single word. But ultimate. It was Hiruma that was able to win.
"Looks like it's all tied up. Congrats." Miyuki said, getting up.
"Not over yet. Let's see what happens next." Hiruma said to him as he got up.
"Also, looks like that arm's feeling better huh?"
"Just like those abdominal muscles are feeling great right?"
"Arm? What are they talking about?" Lanolin asked Rally.
"Your guess is as good as mine." The bounty hunter replied.
"Hiruma, did you hurt your arm?" X asked, honestly concerned.
"Yeah. I did." Hiruma admitted. "Hyperextended a muscle while working out. I overworked myself."
"Well, from the looks of things, it didn't seem to affect you too much. Glad you're feeling better regardless."
"When did this even happen?" Lanolin asked.
"I think you're being a little too nosy. Especially if it didn't even happen here." Tangle said.
"I was just trying to…. okay. Maybe you're right. Besides, it's not as if it's an issue so it's pointless to continue trying to bring it up."
"That son of a-" Miyuki started to think to himself before being brought out of it.
"Are you really injured?" Furuya asked, concerned.
"Yeah! Why didn't you tell us or the team!? Either one! When Furuya got injured we got upset at him for it! You're not above the rules either you know!" Eijun said.
"He probably hid it because he was afraid of us eliminating him the second we found out about it." Noelle said.
"When did this even happen?"
The catcher looked down. "At home. I accidentally fell over while on a latter. Did my best to not make it noticeable during practice so it wouldn't be a distraction."
"I'm gonna be honest, that sounds like you're lying." Libby said.
"I don't know. That's not the same thing as cheating. Why would he want to fake an injury?" Molly said.
Miyuki couldn't his laugh.
"See?" Libby said.
"Ugh! After everything that's been happening with injuries this season you lie about that? Why!?" Jenny asked.
"You were the ones that fell for it. Besides, he was the one that started it." He said, pointing to Hiruma.
"You decided to lie about me, so I returned the favor!" Hiruma said.
"Resorting to lying about injuries? Come on guys, I'm all for the unpredictable plans, but is this really what we're going to?" Molly asked.
"Those two lied about people liking each other. Should you be surprised? At this point, nothing's off the table." Zak said, referring to Louie and Todd.
"Including murder?" Sucy and Hiruma said simultaneously.
Zak made changes to his statement after hearing this. "Well, almost nothing."
"Making harmless rumors like that and faking injuries is not the same thing." Louie said.
"That's not harmless! That can change relationships! Not to mention that we got robbed because of you two!" Rei said.
"You could have ignored it. So, that sounds like a personal problem."
The next game was between Lucy and Sophie.
"Let's have a good game, alright? No yelling, keep things civil." Lucy said to Sophie.
"Of course!" Sophie said, accepting the proposal as they locked hands.

"Well, it's good to know that you don't rely too much on your spirits and looks to get by." Sophie said to her.
"Of course not. Look, I'll admit, I can't do the magic you can, but I learned that I'm not going to be able to rely on my spirits to help me for absolutely everything. I have to manage on my own some way." Lucy replied.
"I can see that. Unfortunately, it won't help you here. I'm more than just my magic too!"
It was close, but Lucy was able to win.
"Sorry, but when you're with the Fairy Tail guild, you have to up your strength to keep up. And to knock some sense into some of these knuckleheads. You should see Erza though. She'd probably dominate a challenge like this. That is until she gets to Asta and maybe Maki? Then that's when things will start to get tougher."
"I see. To be honest, I would love to visit your world on this show. Unfortunately, this is probably the only way I'll ever be able to see some of these places. Not everyone is Rick you know." Sophie said as the next pair was Bass and Albedo.
"You're not the only one. None of that in sight where I'm from." Lucy replied to Sophie as the match went on.
"Yet you all seem well-off. Just goes to show that despite Toxsa and some other's reactions about a lack of technology that we have, doesn't mean it's doom and gloom. I think people forget that even here, there was a time none of that was present." Sophie said.
"Yeah, and it was real boring too. There was some cool events maybe, like the American Revolution, but still, overall, very boring time." Todd said.
Bass won seconds later.
"Without your aliens, you're nothing." Bass said.
"Far from the truth fool. I have my mind. Can you recreate an Omnitrix replica? I thought not." Albedo replied.
"A replica that's useless when you need to rely on your own strength, not someone or something else's."
The next one was Paul and Shiro with the latter able to beat the former. Unsurprisingly, neither had much to say before and after the game.
The next two were the exact opposite: These two being Scott and Zee.
"I gotta warn you, I'm a little stronger than you think. How? I drink plenty of milk and do push-ups and sit-ups."
"What? No you don't! Do you?" Hailey asked.
"Only the first part. I just thought the last part was cool to say."
"Why?"
"Got it from TV. Ohh wait, sorry Zee."
"Nah, it's all good man. I realized milk is cleaned. So we're a-okay. Wonder why Julia didn't tell me that though. Maybe she didn't know either." Zee said. "Now let's lock 'em up."
"Wait, that was it? You just thought the milk wasn't clean?" Scott asked as the game started.
"Nope. I thought the milk came straight from the cows' udders. Then Lanolin told me they actually clean the milk! Dude, it is such a relief to be able to eat pizza again man! And burgers actually."

"So that's why burgers are just called burgers sometimes and not cheeseburgers."

Ultimately, Scott was able to beat Zee and end the game.
"Man, guess that milk really paid off huh? Maybe I should drink more." Zee said.
"Milk is good. You don't know what you're missing if you're not a fan." Kageyama said.
"Zee, drink chocolate milk! It's sooooo good!" Ruby suggested.
"It's only good because of the sugars. Just drink it plain for the healthiest solution." Weiss said.
"Milk is still milk." Akko said. "Besides, plain milk is boring. Why wouldn't you add some flavor to it?"
"I can drink plain milk just fine." Blake said.
"You don't count. We all know why you can." Yang said.
"Wait, why can she drink plain milk?" Akko asked.
"Seriously? You don't know?"
"No? That's why I asked."
"Cat ears?" Sucy said.
"Ohhhhhhhh!"
"Chocolate milk is like a godsend dude. As a matter of fact, I think I'm gettin' a bottle when I get home." Murasakibara said.
"Strawberry milk is decent too." Ruby added.
"With all this talk of milk, maybe I should have made some type of milk challenge. But, I'm sure you guys will like this one too. Who wants to play charades?" April asked.
"I love charades! Sure!" Kise exclaimed.
"Charades? Really getting excited for family house party games?" Toxsa said in a deadpan tone.
"What's wrong with charades? It's fun." Hailey said.
"I never said it wasn't. I like charades. It's just, I never thought it'd get to the point where this is what we're excited for."
"I think people are just excited for something fun and simple than anything else." Diego said.
"Maybe. I mean I thought the arcade game was pretty cool."
"So here's how it works, you guys get a word or phrase, Casey and I will act them out without talking. If you can guess it correctly, you earn a point! We'll do five rounds of this okay?" April explained. "Any questions?"
"So can we just blurt it out?" Asta asked.
"Let's just have one set of people at a time per round, so one per team, just to make things easier on you and us."
No other questions were given.
April clasped her hands together. "Great! Let's get started!"
Despite some having trouble with the gestures, the rounds were still able to be completed, with the Kings able to win 3 points to 1 from the other two teams.

"I know compared to the other games, charades may not exactly have as much fanfare, but I really wanted to make sure they had at least one game that could just be a simple fun little game that they don't have to really stress over. Ever since I heard things about Raphael competing in a season, hearing that they were doing something similar to this on a larger scale piqued my interest, so I took a look at some of this season. And yeah, considering what's been going on so far, I think games like this one is what they need."

"And now for one final game, with things tied." Chris said.
"A game from me." Splinter said, walking to the front. "Donatello, if you'll please select four from each team at random."
"You got it!" Donnie said.
Urien, Ryoma, Zak and Bakura, Louie, Huey, Sly and Octavia along with Zero, Kagami, Rei and Whisper were chosen for their respective teams.
"Now that you all have been chosen, it is time to step into your respective portals." Splinter said to them as portals opened. "I hope that once this game ends, at least one of you from each team will have learned something."
"Like I said before, really interested in what this last one's gonna be, since Splinter didn't want that one revealed. Let's hope it's good." Chris said as they went in.
The Rats were in some sort of base. The Kings were on Camp Wawanakwa. The Breakers were in a temple.
"Not much light here. Keep an eye out for anything." Zero said as he and his three teammates looked around. Kagami used the flashlight on his phone to help see better.
A couple of Whisper's Wisps also appeared to try and help the others, particularly Rei, be able to see.
"Man, Chris really loves this place I see." Sly said as they wandered through the island to find any sort of clues or indication on what to do next. The main lodge and the cabins, interestingly enough were completely empty. No furniture, nothing.
"I mean, if I paid top dollar for an island, I'd hope I'd love it too." Louie said.
"What are we even supposed to be looking for? He took out all the furniture. And we've come up empty everywhere outside so far." Octavia said.
"We can't give up this early in. We need to keep looking." Huey said.
"So you're saying we can give up later on right? How much later we talkin'? Five minutes? Ten?" Louie asked.
"You know what I meant."
"I know. Was just doing that to mess with you. Besides, if we give up, there's a chance we get sent home just for that."
Urien immediately recognized the temple he and his teammates were in.
"I fail to understand why Chris would send us here but it doesn't matter. I know the ins and outs of this place so I will take the lead." Urien said.
"So this is where Urien is from? Interesting." Yami Bakura thought. "Perhaps this challenge was what was needed to get more background on him."
"I don't get it. Why not send them through the cyber world instead of another version of the real one?" Kurt asked.
Before anyone could answer a noise was heard on one of the screens. This noise being Zero blocking an attack with his Z-Saber. But he was unable to block the rest and was overwhelmed before being taken away. And the others were as well. Everyone except Whisper that was, who only had her weapon taken away as she tried to fight back but failed to hit anything. Rei also dropped her transformation pen before she could transform, with said pen being taken not long after.
A whistle was heard. One that was all too familiar to Puss.
"No….." Puss said.
" 'No' what? Who was that?" Axl asked.
"Death."
"Death? You mean they're dead?"
"No. He is the embodiment of it."
"And with that, you're the last one left. Again. Very familiar territory for you." Death, an anthropomorphic silvery-white wolf said. He has red irises and wore a black riding cloak that's torn at the edges and brown trousers. He also wielded two sickles.
Whisper ran to get her weapon before it was knocked away by Death as he threw one of his sickles at it.
He laughs. "Did you really think I would just let you get your weapon?" Death shakes his head. "You don't know how many times I've seen people lose their lives because they let their opponents have a chance at fighting back. No. You want it? You will have to take it. Not get it."
The Wisps immediately flew out of the Wispon to gather around Whisper.
"Yes, yes. Your Wisps. The very beings that power your weapon. Noble for them to defend someone that can't defend themselves. Oh wait. Shouldn't it be….. the other way around?"
Whisper tried to attack Death with a kick after jumping at him but missed. He immediately went back into the shadows after dodging a couple more attacks.
Whisper kept her eyes out for him as she slowly looked around.
As for the Kings, a track was raised on the island. Said track being a smaller one.
"A Scan2Go track? Oh no." Huey said, remembering the design of the track.
"Oh yes. You thought you could get rid of me that easy? I don't think so." A voice bellowed from above. Thunder struck all of them, and somehow froze everyone but Huey.
"Is this VR again? I-I don't understand! You got pushed into the sun!" Huey said, crawling back and quickly getting up.
"I already got beaten by that once. Did you really think I'd be stupid enough to let that stop me a second time? And it's all thanks to you." Another lightning strike was seen, right in front of Huey as a fully reborn Ryu Kaizel appeared in front of him, arms folded.
"Me? How?"
Ryu pulled out Dragnite's Scan Card and tossed it to him as a s copy of Dragnite appeared next to him for him to use.
"What are you up to Ryu?"
"For whatever reason, much of the universe that I originate from seems to favor using Scan2Go racing as a form of communication. I can't say I fully understand it myself but, I will admit that it's a good way to pass the time. I won't try to give you a requirement to beat me or anything like that. We'll talk. And I'll give you all the answers you're looking for. Nothing more. Nothing less."
"And then when you're done, you're just going to destroy me and the others. You know I can't beat you. Or you'll find a way to rig it to where this Dragnite isn't as good. So why should I trust you?"
"Oh. So that's how you really feel huh? I see…." Ryu said before closing his eyes. "Considering how you're supposed to be intelligent, I would have thought you would have tried to make a plan to try and defeat me. But I guess you realize how pointless it would be. Sensible, but admittedly, boring. I was hoping to see more of a struggle from you." Ryu opened his eyes again as a sadistic grin was now on his face.
"No, sensible is giving you too much credit than you deserve. It's fear! All of the failures you've had before, especially the one to beat me still lingers fresh on your mind! It started to strike you the second you heard my voice didn't it!? So if that's how it's going to be, there's nothing really stopping me from just annihilating all of you right now! Galleon! Put them out of their misery!"
The evolved version of Dragnite manifested from dark mist before it began charging a blast from its middle mouth.
"Master Splinter, please tell me this is VR." Dewey said to him.
Splinter was silent.
"Master Splinter, you wouldn't just let them die would you?" Leo asked.
"Have faith my son. As I have faith in them." Splinter said.
"Faith? If this is real, they could be killed!" Isagi said.
An explosion was seen as a flash of white light covered everything.
"HUEY! LOUIE!" Dewey yelled out.
Meanwhile, Urien, Ryoma, Zak and Bakura were still exploring the temple before finding an exit. Several figures wearing green cloaks were seen on the left and right of them, with all of them being silent.
Suddenly, everyone but Urien was blocked off, behind bars.
"What is this!?" Urien said before already figuring it out not long after. "Brother! I know you're behind this! Come out and show yourself!"
"Wait, Urien has a brother!?" Several people said simultaneously. Or in some cases, variant of it.
"Now that I think of it, I specifically recall someone mentioning it on the VR challenge we did." Rally said. "It wasn't Urien. I think it was his brother himself. Forgot his name though."
"Brother. I see you have returned. With allies. What brings you here?" Urien's brother, Gill asked. He had long flower blonde hair. One half of his body was blue while the other half was red.
"That is none of your concern. Just know that you will move, one way or another." Urien replied.
"Is that so? You know that I cannot just allow you to pass. Tell me what your intentions are first."
"I told you. That is none of your concern!" Urien said before getting into a fighting stance.
"Then so be it." Gill said, already prepared to fight. Though he took no real fighting stance to indicate this compared to his brother.
As for Urien's teammates, despite their attempts, including Ryoma transforming, they couldn't free themselves.
"So what? We're just stuck here to watch? At this point, we might as well just be brought back." Zak said.
"Patience. I may have something to get us out." Bakura said, the ring suddenly appearing. But even with using several cards from his deck, they still couldn't get free.
"Any other ideas genius?"
"Unfortunately, no."
As Whisper was still by her lonesome, she was being consistently taunted. Though it was no longer just Death.
"Constantly letting your friends down over and over and over again. I can't imagine the emotional baggage that comes with that." Venetta said from a distance. Whisper, after getting her Wispon again, tried to attack her, but she was just too fast, effortlessly dodging every attack again. "That's why I don't do friends. They drag you to be honest, you're too good to be bogged down by that yourself. You're not the social type, so I don't get it, what exactly makes you care or feel anything towards these people? If you wouldn't have had to worry about that lemur girl, you might have had a chance at beating me the last time we met."
"What about you and Dromus? Are you two not friends?" Whisper asked, trying to get a lock on her but couldn't.
"Absolutely not. We're partners more than anything else. We have similar goals, so we decided to work together to achieve them. Nothing more. That isn't the same as friendship."
"But Gen… he-"
"What about him? Did you really believe any of that crap? He's lying to you, you gullible dummy." Venetta no longer just dodged. She started to fire webs at her from her daggers. "You know what's funny? Flip things around and you get a completely different story. And a passable one. And that's exactly what he did. It's the opposite actually. He doesn't have friends! And he's not the most social guy just like you. He was a happy guy living a happy life too. With friends just like you. But all it took was one event. One moment, for his world to crash down for him to realize that he needed to change. But you. You've lost how many people again? And you're still holding on to that dumb hope that you can do right by new people you meet? It makes me sick!" She said, the last part with venom and anger in her voice before she relentlessly attacked Whisper, overwhelming her before webbing away her Wispon and knocking her to the ground.
When Whisper looked up, Venetta was gone.
"Slinger, Smithy, Clairvoyance. Tangle, Rick and the others in the villain challenge. And now Zero, Rei and Kagami." Death said, though only his voice could be heard. "Honorable mention, getting Silver kicked out of the Diamond Cutters. You wasted that second chance Kuroko gave you. But since you can't seem to care about the lives of others, let's see how much others will care about you losing yours."
Zero in black armor appeared behind her suddenly, knocking her down as she dropped her mask. She grabbed it but was immediately held down by Zero before putting a foot on her chest to hold her down, Z-Saber in hand before he pointed the blade at her.
"Just accept it! Even if you did care, you just weren't good enough to do anything anyway. You had your chances to help and you squandered every one of them." The black-armored Zero said before bringing the sword down, landing the final blow on her. But what was sliced wasn't Whisper. It was her mask.
"Maybe I wasn't good enough. But to say that I wasted the opportunity that Kuroko gave me is an absolute lie! As long as I keep going, it will never be a waste." She tried to hold back the blade with her hands, but wasn't making any good progress with it.
"You won't be going for long. So what difference does it make?" Zero said.
"The difference is I won't quit and let it go to waste!"
A bright light came from her Wispon as it got free from the webs along with her Wisps. Her mask was also surrounded in the light. Both Zero and Whisper looked over to see the source of the light. New items emerged from both and went so fast that they hit Zero in the chest, sending him flying as sparks were seen coming from the hit. The two items, one which was a green device and the other being a yellow and black device that looked as if it was modeled after a gear shift panel.
"Whisper, know that your efforts to protect your friends have not gone to waste! Nor have they been unnoticed! This Rev Morpher and Engine Cell will allow you to access the morphing grid. Insert the cell, pull the gear lever and say 'RPM! Get in Gear'." A voice said from the morpher.
"I don't know what that was, but you're not gonna use it!" Zero said, getting up before running at Whisper to stop her.
She quickly follows the instructions before Zero gets to her. "RPM! Get in…. Gear!"
Zero was knocked away from the effects of the morph. Within seconds she passed before she went through a track that had several panels on them to form the black suit she was now wearing, which was very similarly designed to the RPM form that Adrien used in the last episode.
A helmet and silver seatbelt-like straps connected to the same-colored belt were afterwards. Coincidentally, on the front of the suit, a golden number 5 in the style of a wolf's head was seen on it. Though the number was used to represent the RPM Ranger Operator number, not the player number. An explosion was seen in the background after the transformation.
"Wow!" Tangle said in awe.
"Huh. So she's gone RPM. That's cool and all but, how?" Adrien said.
"'How'? You're asking that when we should be happy she's not Swiss cheese!"
"You rang?" Plagg said, appearing.
"Not you Plagg. Anyways, I guess I do see your point."
"So you got a new form. Doesn't look all that to me." Zero said, pointing the saber at her.
"Let's find out!" Whisper reaches for her Wispon but forgets that it was no longer there. The weapon she pulled out instead was a pistol-like blaster that looked similar to a fuel-pump to further carry-on the vehicle theme. It didn't take her long to adjust and she immediately started to fire at him. He deflected the shots.
"You call that a blaster?" He runs at her to attack her. But Whisper was able to dodge and counter all of Zero's slices before ending with a spinning kick that landed right on Zero's face, knocking him down.
"That was a little easier than I thought. Maybe it's the suit. Or your overconfidence. Or a little bit of both. Or something else entirely."
"All that confidence over a knockdown. But just know that you're not going to get that lucky again!" Zero said before getting up.
"We'll see. Nitro Sword!" Whisper, recalling just how Adrien did it, changed the blaster to a baton-like weapon called the Nitro Sword.
The two exchanged attacks, with Whisper also mixing in kicks as well. To the naked eye, it would seem that both are fighting well. But to a seasoned fighter, it was clear who the advantage belonged too. And it was Whisper. And it showed as she knocked him down again.
"Believe me, I would be lying if I said I didn't somewhat enjoy this."
"Never seen this side of you before."
"But you have seen a side of me where I was happy for you. Happy for all of my teammates. Until you selfishly took all of that away. Mimic."
"I don't have a clue on what-"
"I've seen how Zero fights long enough to understand how he is in battle. And that poor excuse of swordfighting is not Zero at all. He'd be disappointed in himself for losing to a sword that doesn't even have a cutting edge."
"So you found out." Zero said, smirking. He then suddenly changed to something completely different. A blue anthropomorphic mimic octopus. He had white eyes with black sclera. Wrinkles on the beak were seen with a b lack marking just above it. He wore a small, tattered gray cloak with sleeves and tattered gray leg warmers of the same slim fabric.
"I already suspected as much the first time we fought. Zero is confident, but not overconfident. Being undisciplined is never something he would let happen. Even Venetta's fighting felt off somehow. The only reason you were accurate on how she is is because you and Venetta are a lot alike. Though in her case, I believe she'll change just like Gen did. What you did, getting my teammates, my friends, selfishly killed, is unforgivable!"
"Never cared about your forgiveness. Or anyone else's. Probably because I never wanted it to begin with. Because I knew who I was. I was never a hero like you or the others. It was a job and nothing else. Just like getting rid of them was a job and nothing else. It's a lot easier to do things when you don't have an emotional attachment to whatever it is."
Now it was Whisper's turn to overwhelm him. Using the enhancements from the bio-suit to do so, enhance the speed and power(mostly the speed) of her hand-to-hand attacks.
"Consider that payback." Whisper said as the octopus was on the ground.
"For what? Your friends? I guess what you did the last time we met wasn't enough. But I guess you mean those others."
"That's not just it. Earlier when you got the upper hand on me."
"Well, I guess I'll be getting it back again." Several figures appeared from the distance, slowly marching and approaching her. These were several robotic foot soldiers wearing brown armor and helmets, along with copies of Rei, Kagami and Zero. Several copies of Shadow the Hedgehog and Venetta were seen too. Red eyes glowed on all of them for a split second.
"You….."
"When you're trying to survive, there is no such thing as fighting fair. The only thing that matters is life and death." Mimic said before changing back into Death. "How do you think I have survived for so long?"
"I bid you farewell, loba." He said before immediately running. Suddenly, the Z-Saber was knocked out of his hand by a blaster shot before he himself was knocked down by a buster blast from the distance, destroying several robots in the process of the shot travelling Not too far behind it was Zero, with Kagami and Rei following.
"Sorry, but I think you've got something belongs to me." Zero said, referring to the Z-Saber before picking it up. The three joined up with Whisper.
"Four, one, it doesn't matter. You can't hope to beat all these versions of you, Grinders, and Shadow Androids powerless!" Mimic said.
Every single one of the Reibots pulled out transformation pens to transform into Super Sailor Mars. "Mars Crystal Power! Make Up!"
The Kaga-bots also all entered the Zone. The Zero copies also pulled out their own Z-Sabers. The Grinders also pulled out their own laser blasters.
"Okay, I gotta admit, this is a lot." Rei said. "And considering that no good thief stole my pen and made copies of it…." She added, referring to Mimic. "It's time to see if these Ranger powers are all that!" Rei said, referring to the morpher that was on her right arm.
"Trust me, they are!" Kagami said, excited as he looked at the morpher on his own arm.
"Don't think I need them but, it'd be a shame to let them go to waste." Zero said, morpher in hand.
"Mars Flame Sniper!" Multiple Reibots began to aim fiery bows at the four.
"Let's see you survive this." Mimic said, already shapeshifted into a Reibot and running within the crowd of the other robots to retreat as they began to all attack the four.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Opening Instrumental(Short TV Opening Version) Plays
"It's Morphin' Time!" Zero and Rei called out simultaneously.
"Lightspeed Rescue!" Kagami added.
Despite the attacks seemingly connecting, the morphing seemed to have made them completely invincible to the flaming arrows, Grinder blasts, Venetta Webs and Shadow Android Weapons that all converged at them as the explosion was seen. Several of the others that tried to attack them directly were also sent away.
A lightning bolt struck before Zero's morphing sequence was seen as held out the Power Morpher in front of him, switch already pushed to begin the morph. "Mastodon!"
Black energy began to surround Zero's body before the Mighty Morphin Power Ranger suit was seen on him, though without the helmet. The Power Morpher was now the buckle on his belt. The helmet came to his head not even a second later along with him immediately summoning his weapon, which was a black single-blade axe. "Black Ranger Power!"
Rei holds out her transformation card. "Hyperforce! Black!" She calls out before inserting it into her morpher. "Ready! Power up!" Holding the morpher to her chest as it glows, the transformation process for her was the opposite of Zero. The helmet appeared first and then the rest of the Hyperforce suit.
Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue Theme Instrumental Plays
A helmet-visor shaped shield the size of Kagami's body was seen. The visor shield closes in on Kagami before melding through him, creating the suit and helmet which had a red and white design. A respirator appeared to cover Kagami's mouth before the visor closes to conceal his face, completing the transformation.
Kagami puts his feet together before saluting. "Red Ranger! Rescue Ready!" He then got into a fighting stance.
An explosion was seen behind them as one geyser of red smoke was seen along with three geysers of black smoke.
Music Stops
"Wait, do I get a weapon?" Rei said before trying to call out for one, which in her case, was also an axe, though hers was triple bladed, styled after the Cerberus Zord that the ranger she was currently morphed as used. "Not my preference but, considering my luck with swords and pistols lately, it'll do." She said, noticing the interchangeable energy pistol and blade on her holster that was also available for her to use.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Zero said before already dashing into battle with his axe in hand, Whisper not too far behind him. Rei and Kagami nodded towards one another before they joined their teammates in battle.
As for Ryu, he was in shock at what just happened. The blast was blocked by a shield of darkness. That shield being from the Dragnite Copy that he gave Huey.
"You know that won't last. You should have stuck with me ending you quickly!" Ryu said.
"It's not me I'm doing this for. It's for the others. Especially my brothers! Both of them!" Huey said.
Ryu laughed. "Of course. Always the 'noble' reasoning with the lot of you. Well then, since you chose to fight your way to death instead, I suppose I can explain to you how I survived. You see, a part of darkness rests within your heart. But, don't feel special. You're not the only one. It was in Aomine as well. At least for a time."
"But didn't Razer-" Huey started.
"Cleanse you? Only enough to temper the effects of the transformation to your wild side. But that darkness still lingered. Even if it's a little. When both of you transformed, it's because we're not too different from each other. We want to win. Even if you think your reasons for it are more noble, it doesn't matter. You crave victory. Desperate for it! Hungry! Yes, there are those that want to win, but you absolute need it! Because without victory, you see yourself as worthless! How do you think you're able to use Dragnite!?"
"Fighting for others isn't anything you'd do."
"I already told you the reasons don't matter! So, now that you know this, it's time to see who's darkness is stronger!"
"You can stop with the goading. I already told you, I'm nothing like you!" Huey said before using Double Anchor to shoot lasers from the mouths to break the ice his teammates were trapped in. They were all free, but dazed after being frozen.
"You fool! Saving those worthless weaklings just to leave yourself open!" Ryu said before launching a blast directly at Huey.
Ryu closed his eyes before laughing again. "All of that, just to meet your demise in one blow. And for what? What a waste of space!" When the smoke cleared, Ryu was in shock. "What!?"
Huey had survived. And it wasn't because of Dragnite or him being able to take the blast. It was because of Sly.
"And Ben and the others had trouble with you? Shame on…." Sly started before falling unconscious.
"That did nothing more than change the order of your demise. But don't worry, this next one will wipe you all out at once! And this time, there's no miracle help to save you!" Ryu began to charge a tidal wave of dark energy.
"Huey! You're our only hope man! You gotta beat him! I don't know how, but you'll figure it out!" Louie called out.
Huey stood in front of the wave as it began to grow. He attempted to attack the machine, but there was barely a scratch on Galleon.
"Any other bright ideas?" Ryu taunted as every other attack Huey tried had the same effect.
"There has to be something I can do! But what!? They're counting on me and I'm failing them! Again!" Huey thought. "Unless…..The solution is there is no solution. Sometimes, you just-"
"Huey!" Octavia called out, snapping him out of his thoughts. "The only way you'll be able to beat him is by using his power! I know you don't want to hear that, but it's the only way! Embrace that darkness in your soul Huey!"
"You saw what I did to people. What he did to people. Even if I did beat him, what then?" Huey said.
"Hmm….. you're the first person that's been willing to accept my dark power so easily out of them. Now I wished I would have been able to pry into your soul instead of those other worthless weaklings." Ryu said to Octavia. "Alright, you've piqued my interest. If I'm going to destroy you I can at least get some more enjoyment out of it." He grins. "Let's take a quick peek shall we!?" He said, a maniacal grin on his face as the gem in his head shined purple along with his eyes, indicating that he was using his powers again.
"Stop!" Huey pleaded.
Octavia gasped the second he did this, indicating that he was in her head.
An identical Ryu, indicating his conscience within her mind appeared. He saw several of her memories as he walked around through her mind. Some including her time on Total Drama, to her audition among other memories. Interestingly enough, it felt as if he was exploring the solar system throughout her mind.
Music was then heard not long after, catching him off guard. "What is that?" Ryu said, looking around. He couldn't seem to find the source of the depressing punk music, which began to irk him as he looked around at some of her other memories which he saw no significance in. "All of this is boring! I'm- huh?" He notices the memory of Octavia after Rick's remark to her during the arm wrestling game.
Ryu smiled. "Now we're getting somewhere." He heads towards the memory to learn more.
As he was doing this, Louie had already implored Huey to attack Ryu while he was seemingly occupied with Octavia. In the real world, he wasn't moving. But they still had no effect on him or Galleon, with Galleon blocking the way on its own.
"Still nothing! What do I do!?" Huey said.
"Screw it! Just do the thing Octavia suggested!" Louie said.
"I already said I'm not doing that!"
"Unless you're cooking up an idea in that head of yours, the only other option is everyone here is being erased off the face of the planet. But if you do have an idea, you may want to hurry it up."
"Anything but that. I've got to try something!" Huey thought.
Meanwhile, the battle between Urien and Gill was still taking place.
"Curious as to how you can have so much trouble with mere children. And powerless ones at that." Gill said, blocking a downwards chop and a forward punch from Urien.
"Prying in on my endeavors. What purpose would you even have for this? So you can take the glory of victory for yourself!? Just like you did when we fought before for the position of leadership in the Society?" Urien replied, anger clearly rising as he continued to relentlessly attack his brother.
"I did not 'steal' anything from you. You wanted the power of presidency so I gave it you. As for the first thing, I have no need to. I have bigger things to concern myself over than a trivial competition for children." Gill said as he was able to block or avoid most of Urien's attacks, still not in much of a fighting stance after doing either.
"I wanted the power to rule over the Society!"
"A statement that you were never clear about."
Gill's replies did nothing more than make him angrier.
"Man, looks like Urien's the only one that seems to be definitively on equal footing. And I don't mean that because it's a 1v1." Julie said.
"Just 'cause you land hits on someone doesn't mean you suddenly got a chance." Sendo said.
"Well, we'll have to agree to disagree. I'm going to keep rooting for him!"
"He's not entirely wrong. Urien may have landed some decent attacks on Gill, but he does not take Urien seriously at all. Body language can say a thousand words." Shiro said.
"On who's end?"
"Both. Gill's not even really in much of a stance that would even be considered any type of fighting one. And Urien knows it, which is one of the reasons why he started to get more aggravated and aggressive. Which isn't a smart move." Sendo explained.
"Says the guy that's almost always aggressive." Rally said.
"Bein' aggressive just to be aggressive ain't the same thing. If you don't got a plan when you do it you're gonna get your head knocked off."
"Unfortunately, that might be happening to our own if something doesn't change. It's like they've been at it forever." Becky F. said, referring to their own fighting quartet that, while holding their own, were still struggling to the robots due to the sheer numbers on top of their copied abilities. The only ones that were completely beaten were the Shadow Androids due to Zero stropping time with his own individual abilities, not the Ranger ones and finishing them off with the enhanced power of the Mastodon thanks to the Black Ranger suit.
Zero slammed the ground with the axe that he had, shaking it, causing a shockwave and sending several robots flying in the air before Whisper shot them down with her individual ranger weapon, the Rocket Blaster, causing them to explode.
A Kaga-bot tried to sneak attack her from behind with a haymaker but she dodged the punch before taking advantage of her bio-suit again via improved footwork, which allowed her to smoothly trip the bot up, shoot him and then spin in a complete 180 and kick away a Venetta clone, one that Zero made sure to finish off via the blaster mode on the axe.
A Zero bot dashed towards them before attacking immediately. The second he felt he was overwhelmed, he immediately slammed the ground to send several blasts downward for the Rekkoha move. Both the real Zero and Whisper jumped away from the attack. Before he could recover, both used their speed to quickly get back to the Zero clone. Whisper used the braces that were also on her arms and turned them to grind against the Clone Zero's body before the real Zero sliced him. Sparks were seen coming from the cloned Maverick Hunter before it exploded.
"Not gonna lie, this isn't my style. A lot more dated, but it still gets the job done." Zero said to her.
She only nodded before preparing to take on more robots.
"Thermo blaster!" Kagami called out, before pulling out another blaster rifle and shooting intense blasts of heat at a Grinder, sending a hole through it. A Venetta clone sent a web at him but he rolled out of the way to dodge it before shooting the Venetta clone in the back with a no-look shot before it could recover from the diving kick it did.
Multiple Kagami clones attempted to converge on him. After they dodged the first couple of shots, he took out the V-Lancer again and spun around with it to keep them back before shooting it in blaster mode.
A Reibot fought him next in hand-to-hand combat before he was able to take it out. But he was about to be hit in the back and the front by a Z-Saber slice and arrow shot respectively before Rei, Whisper and Zero took care of them.
"You're welcome." Rei said to him.
He only nodded as he was focused on taking more out. She could only smile under the helmet as he was clearly in the zone, in a matter of speaking.
Things were a lot less action-oriented for the Kings, but still held just as much weight. Ryu was now starting to pry into some deeper memories from Octavia. But it wasn't as if he had no resistance doing it. Ninja versions of herself attempted to ambush and attack him to keep him out, indications that either Octavia was actively trying to get him out of her head, or it was an auto-defense mechanism. Though considering her facial expressions in the real world, it was more than likely the former than the latter.
Regardless though, with the help of a copy of Dragnite that he also created, he discarded them with ease and continued his exploration through her more personal and meaningful memories, which included her meeting Loona, finding taxidermy that she found interesting while exploring Earth or "The Mortal Realm", and even the talent show during the season where she got to participate. The memory of her father Stolas also calling was also seen deeper in this layer.
It was once he got to some of her most personal memories, in a manifestation of her room, that her strongest defenses was seen. Those defenses being her own father, Stolas.
"These are not yours to pry in! Stay away from my daughter!" The Stolas manifestation declared.
"Get the hell out of my head!" Octavia yelled out simultaneously in the real world.
"You fool! Nothing else could stop me, do you really think this one little defense will!? The more you try to stop me the more that makes me want to keep goi-" The Ryu manifestation was petrified.
"Monologuing b*tch." Stolas said.
In the real Ryu, the real Ryu was in slight pain from the petrification, which only made him aggravated.
"You persistent little worm!" Ryu said before the gem in his head shined again.
"Huey! You have to beat him here! It's the only way we'll be able to stop him!" Octavia called out to him.
"Don't know what you're doing but if he's struggling out here, you seem to be doing just fine." Louie said.
"No. No I can't! I only slowed him down!"
The petrified Ryu manifestation began to slowly crack as purple energy began to seep through the cracks.
"Octavia-" Huey started before Octavia cut him off.
"Huey, you and I both know that I can't stop him. You saw the effort it took for that many people to stop him last time. Do you really think I can do it by myself? If you really want to help, this is how you do it! Beat him on equal footing!"
Huey wasn't sure what to say.
Ryu broke free as a flash of purple energy was seen.
"Of course…." Stolas said.
"I can't wait to see what you're hiding in here. It'll be so satisfying to watch you suffer! Even more than you already have!" The Ryu manifestation said.
The room suddenly became red as Stolas began to transform.
"Mark my words you demonic, demented, sick b*stard! I will protect my daughter! Her memories are hers and hers alone! You have no right to defile them! DO YOU HEAR ME!?" His real demon form was seen as it towered over Ryu. Stolas quickly sent Ryu crashing into a wall, out of the room instantly.
"Now let's see how you like screaming in pain!" Stolas said.
Ryu began to charge more energy to fight back with Galleon transforming into its true ultimate form. Both Stolas and Ryu were causing havoc throughout the mind space, destroying several taxidermies, pictures and other items in the process as they fought each other.
"Look, I'm afraid okay!? If I let it out, it might not want to go back in!" Huey said to Louie and Octavia.
"Then make him go back in! It's your mind man! You can do whatever you want there!" Louie said.
"Huey, listen! You're scared of the darkness consuming you. That power itself isn't evil. The user is. If that really was the case about darkness and morality being linked, then why would I help you? Why would Sebastian be so helpful and thoughtful when we're both demons?" Octavia said.
"Enough of this nonsense!" The Ryu manifestation said, fully intent on destroying Stolas right here and now.
"You will be okay. I-" Octavia said to Huey before grabbing her head again, yelling in pain.
"Now, where were we?" The Ryu Manifestation said as a defeated Stolas was consumed by Galleon and banished to a dimension of eternal darkness. He began to reach for a book that had energy emanating from it with several locks and enchantments on it to protect it from being opened. Ryu easily discarded these defenses and was about to open the book to see what was inside.
The real Ryu laughed maniacally. "Yes! This is what I was looking for! Devouring your despair will be very satisfying!"
Tears were seen coming out of Octavia's eyes as she was seen pleading for her real dad to help her.
"I wonder what your brother is hiding? I can sense a bit of greed within him. We'll just to see won't we!?" Ryu said.
Seeing and hearing Octavia like this along with Ryu intending to go after Louie was the tipping scale for Huey as he got angry. And his own Dragnite responded to that anger as energy came from it.
"It's one thing to mess with me. But I'm not gonna let you get away with this anymore!" Huey yelled out before dark energy surrounded him as the same thing that consumed Huey in appearance in the villain challenge was seen again.
"Yes. That's it. You're angry aren't you? You want to destroy me! Use that! Use that hatred in your soul!" Ryu said. "There's no use denying it! Embrace that darkness Huey! Embrace it!"
Huey looked at the Duke of Making A Mess, which was a full manifestation of his rage, insanity and chaotic self.
"Hey. So, I'm going to need your help agaiiiiiin woah hey!" A manifestation of the real Huey said in his mind before the Duke made several noises and immediately leapt at him. The noises couldn't be translated into any real language but Huey was able to understand him fine.
The Duke was surrounded by purple energy with his eyes being completely red.
Huey tried to hold him back from biting his head off.
"Oh man. What did he do to you?" Huey said, more to himself but the Duke responded with more noises.
"What do you mean 'I did this to myself'? I wasn't the one that used his mind powers to mess with you….. me." Huey replied.
The Duke grabbed him by the arm to pick him up and threw him before making more noises while pointing at him and then himself.
"I didn't know how they'd take you! First impressions are everything! If you, I, lashed out, I don't think that'd go over well with them. They'd get rid of me! And if they get rid of me, they get rid of my brothers too!"
The Duke raised his hands in frustration before grabbing his head and actually pulling hair out before throwing rocks at him.
"Yes, I get it. I should be over this and know better. But-"
The Duke immediately pounced on him as he made more noises.
"Can you blame me? You know how I've been performing the past few challenges. It's been very mediocre! We've been winning challenges in spite of me and I don't want to be the one to drag my brothers down. I don't want to always have to rely on help on the others to get things done. I mean look at Louie! As much as people are annoyed by his antics, myself inc-"
The Duke slapped him and pointed at Huey before making more noises.
"This is not just about me, don't you get it!? I'm trying to not be the weakest link and help the others!"
The Duke slapped him again before shaking him numerous times.
"What is up with you slapping me?"
The Duke made more noises before looking as if he was saddened or in pain, from a mental standpoint, not a physical one before throwing him again and pointing at him and pulling out a sword.
"Why do you have a sword?"
The Duke responded with a "Because you thought of one" in his own language.
"Why would I think of giving you a sword? What is wrong with me!?" Huey immediately ran away before The Duke caught up to him anyway. He kept attacking Huey relentlessly.
"Hmm, looks as if she's too weak too be able to do anything further than that. If only you would have already realized your potential. Of course, that's your father's fault too." Ryu said to Octavia as she broke down in full tears, covering her face. He shrugged. "Oh well. I'll take your anguish too! Now, let's see what's in you!" He then set his sights on Louie.
"Huey!" Louie called out desperately before Ryu got into his head.
Huey sees this and immediately gives himself up. "I'm not going to fight you anymore. If you want to take over for the rest of the time this season, fine. But if you don't do anything else, help my brother. Our brother."
A door appeared which opened and had a flight of stairs in it.
"After you." Huey said to The Duke.
The Duke looked at the door and then back at Huey before raising his fists in victory before running through the door. It slammed shut as Huey sighed.
"Good luck."
Huey's demeanor suddenly changed with Dragnite beginning to change. Ryu felt this and exited Louie's mind to see what was going on. After a few seconds, it too had also evolved. Though Huey's was red.
"Ah, so you've finally embraced it have you? Good! Good! Now then, let's see who's dark-" Huey's Dragnite Galleon began to change again. "What?"
When the light stopped shining, Dragnite was Dragnite no more. The machine was now red and white with a more ergonomic appearance, with the tire rims being yellow. A red star could be seen on the top of it.
Seconds later, Huey gasped, eyes no longer glowing red as he looked around, confused.
"Wait, why am I back here again?" Huey said aloud.
"What did you do to Dragnite?" Ryu asked.
"That's a good question actually." Huey said, confused as he looked at the new machine.
"Whatever it was, it was a foolish decision. Now you have absolutely no chance!" Ryu
declared. "And I know exactly how to reward your stubbornness. First, I'll destroy you.
Then, I'll crush your brother's spirit. And then, annihilate both of those weaklings!
Dragnite Galleon! Annihilate him!"
Dragnite began to charge a black hole bomb.
"Uh, do you mind? I haven't exactly gotten the chance to read my moves yet." Huey
said.
"Sure. I do mind! Well then, how about we speed up the process then!?" Ryu said.
Galleon begins to take energy from all three mouths instead of one to charge the black
hole bomb faster.
"Wait, I don't even know where the moves even are!" Huey said.
"Just say random cool stuff!" Louie said.
"Too late!" Ryu said before the edge of a cane was seen hitting Galleon's power stone,
smack dab in the middle of it. Ryu was in shock before he looked over to see that Sly
was no longer on the ground, already figuring out the source. Looking behind him was
said thief.
"Told you you weren't so tough." Sly said, clearly still in pain from the hit earlier, but was
still able to stand.
"You know this isn't the end of me! You only delayed the inevitable!" Ryu said.
"Weren't you charging a black hole bomb though? Just imagine what would happen if all that energy were to explode inside." Huey said. "Complete implosion."
Ryu laughed after hearing this. "Then if that's the case, you won't survive either!" He began to charge more dark energy quickly. "If I can't survive, then no one does!"
"Well, if there's one thing you can't take away from him, is that he's innovative." Sly said.
"And that's exactly what I'll do too!" Huey said. "Sun shield plus maximum boost!"
A shield made of yellow energy covers the machine before it revs to gather speed.
"There's nothing you can do! Even if you boost, it's too late!" Ryu said.
"Doesn't mean I'm not going to try!" Huey shot back.
The vehicle suddenly coillided with Dragnite at a high speed as it pushed it back a bit.
"What the-? It doesn't matter! It's over!"
"Yeah. Over for you I hope. You ba[censored]ard." Octavia said, being the one that threw the car for it to travel so fast, expression changed from tears to p[censored]ed.
"Put the rest of your power into this boost! Go!" Huey called out as the machine pushed back Dragnite even more.
Inside his head, The Duke of Making a Mess returned through the door.
"I don't understand. Why?" A mental version of Huey asked The Duke.
"This….. your… fight. To overcome." The Duke said, in a garbled voice. "I hope you've learned."
"Thank you. The next time you need help, I won't ignore it, I promise." He extends a hand. One that the Duke took. "Also wait, I just thought of something, you can talk?"
"Always could. You just decided to make me easier to understand."
"Huh. I guess I can do anything inside my head."
"GO!" The Duke said, back in a garbled voice again, pushing Huey to the door.
"And it's gone again."
"Say goodbye!" Ryu said, seconds later before it imploded.
Nothing but a flash of purple energy was seen.
As for Urien and Gill, their battle was still taking place.
"You seek to alter a destiny that cannot be changed. Why?" Gill said, continuing to battle
his brother.
"That is the destiny that you created in your mind. Not mine!" Urien shot back.
"Your greed, jealousy and pride will be your undoing."
"Do not try to lecture me brother! My rage is your doing!"
Both began to charge up projectiles, Urien with a metallic sphere projectile made from
electricity and Gill with a fire projectile via pyrokinesis. They both fired them at each
other, with the attacks cancelling out.
Urien charged forward with a Chariot Tackle attack, but stopped before it connected to
perform an aegis reflector, intending to force his brother on the defensive. And it
worked. Eventually, he was able to break through Gill's defenses and knock him down
before continuing to attack him, not allowing him to get up.
"I give! I surrender." Gill said. Urien stopped attacking. "I would have allowed you all to pass without this conflict had you simply told me your intentions." Gill said.
"Spare me. I could care less about your false plea for peace."
"You confuse my statement as a plea. No. I will allow you to pass since you defeated me. But the others…"
"Wait, you mean we're stuck here!?'" Zak said in disbelief.
"Just because of that!?" Ryoma added.
"Urien, you have to do something!" Bakura said.
"Go now and proceed." Gill said to Urien, gesturing to the path ahead that was open to him after standing back up.
Urien balled his fists before unbaling them. "Fine. Since you already know that I am on the show, I will tell you the exact reason why I chose to enter. It is to test my strength against the strongest in the multiverse, so that one day, when I challenge you again, it will be a definitive victory. Unlike before and today! You were not beaten that easily. You simply chose not to fight anymore."
Gill smiles. "Observant as ever. I saw no reason to continue this pointless conflict. Tell me, what will you do with the money? You conveniently left that detail unanswered."
"To use to add to my collection of suits. Among other items. Any unused will be stored away."
"I could never understand your liking of suits to that extent. But, do not think that will be enough to convince me to free them."
"Then I will get them out myself!" Urien said before attempting to bust through the bars himself. Despite his attempts to get them out, he was unsuccessful.
"Tell me. Why do you insist on continuing to try to free those that you never cared to ask for help from initially?"
"Our battle is a completely different circumstance. You should know this. In any other situation….. I will need their assistance throughout the show. As unfortunate as it may be."
"So you acknowledge the need for help and teamwork? I see. Proceed." Gill said before gesturing for his followers to release the three as a portal opened in the distance.
"Hmph." Urien adjusted his suit as he walked past Gill, not saying another word. Seconds later, they were back in the lair.
"Not even a thank you? Come on, that could have gone south immediately." Jenny said to him.
"What was done by him did not deserve that. I could care less for his so called 'benevolence'."
With one team finished, two remained, with Dragnite and Ryu having already risen to fight again.
As for the Rats, Mimic watched from a distance via binoculars and was in disbelief at how well the four were handling themselves.
"You can never just lay down and die can you?" Mimic said to himself, referring to Whisper. "Good thing I had a plan B." He presses a button on his wrist.
The robot numbers dwindled, with the Grinders also being completely annihilated. Suddenly, the remaining robot clones began to stop before energy was seen surrounding them. Multiple Venettas entered Titan Mode, Reibots became Eternal Sailor Mars, the Zero clones awakened and the Kaga-bots entered Direct Drive Zone, indicated by the orange lightning instead of red.
"Eternal form? Okay, now they're straight-up cheating." Rei said.
"All I see are bigger targets." Zero said.
"We beat the others. We're almost there! Come on!" Whisper said before leading the charge.
But before either side could get to each other, explosions were seen as several of the robots were destroyed. They began to look up and saw four figures from above. Two being in red suits, one being in white and another in gold and blue, all of them looking to be ranger suits.
The first in red shot dual pistols at a Venetta titan, who blocked the attacks but was suddenly blitzed by fiery golden energy through the chest. It fell to the ground before the second figure in red was materialized. They didn't even look back as the explosion was seen behind them.
"More rangers?" Rei said.
"Snake fire attack!" A Reibot called out. She unleashed a large snake made of fire to send it at the gold ranger who was occupied with some Zero robots.
"Look out!" Whisper said, pulling out her blaster to stop her but was webbed by a Venetta clone.
But he turned out to be fine regardless thanks to the red ranger, who blocked the attack. He was pushed back but didn't seem to suffer much damage.
The Reibot that did this was shot in the head by the red ranger with dual pistols before he acrobatically shot more robots before landing on the ground.
A siren was heard from the red light on the side of his helmet like a police officer's. A staple of the Space Patrol Delta, or S.P.D. for short, suits. However, his form changed, this time to the pirate-themed super megaforce suit.
"Huh. I thought the phrase was seeing red? Because I'm seeing a whole lot of black right now." The ranger said, freeing Whisper.
"Adrien?" Rei said, recognizing the voice.
"With some friends."
After taking care of more robots, the four gathered around.
"Golden. It suits me, don't you think?" Puss said, being the golden Samurai Ranger.
"I'm not the biggest fan but, I gotta admit, these powers are bada[censored]." Sendo said, being the Red Tiger Jungle Fury Ranger.
"You can relax. We'll take care of the rest." Blaze said to the four. She was the second red ranger, with a helmet similar to a cheetah's, indicating that she was the Red Grid Battleforce/Beast Morpher ranger. She was also wearing extra plating on her chest, indicating that she had already powered up via the Beast-X upgrade. The remaining robots regrouped to attack them all again.
"Relax? No way." Kagami said, blocking an attack from a Zero bot before being forced on the defensive by it.
"I'm not even close to being exhausted. I can go for more." Zero said, helping him by slamming his axe hard on the ground again, creating a crater in the ground before both he and Kagami blasted the clone.
"I had a feeling you'd say that." Adrien said. He had four small items in his hand and tossed the items to the four. "They powered up and so should you. Plus, we don't want Puss feeling alone with one different color."
"Nothing beats gold. I assure you of that!" Puss said, dodging multiple Reibot flame arrows before slicing the bots with his newly found barracuda blade.
"We'll see. Guys?"
Power Rangers Zeo Full/Extended Theme
"On it." Zero said before activating the morpher to begin the morphing sequence. "It's Morphin' Time! Zeo Ranger IV! Green!" Zero's suit changed into the Green Zeo suit, with his helmet visor being the shape of a square.
"Magical Source! Mystic Force!" Rei dials the code to morph 1-2-3 on her morpher, which was similar to a cell phone before pointing it into the air. A wand was ejected from the top of it before. A logo of a phoenix was seen in the sky before the mystical titan, which was a phoenix, flew downwards before the Mystic Force Red suit began to appear and replace the Hyperforce suit. "Fearsome as fire! Red Mystic Ranger!" Rei finishes off the transformation with her Sailor Mars pose again.
Kagami did not get a new morpher. Instead, he got a device to summon a bike before it came towards him. "Armor Mode! Bike transformation!" The bike transformed to allow him to equip it to his suit as extra armor, acting as a battlizer upgrade.
"It's Morphin' Time! Go Go Megaforce!" Whisper inserts the Megaforce Black Power Card into the Gosei Morpher before closing it. The legs and chest area with the helmet appeared promptly afterwards. "Megaforce Black!" She then promptly took out the Legendary Morpher that Adrien has. "Super Mega Mode!" The Super Megaforce green suit replaced her current one. "Super Megaforce Green!"
After the morphing finished, multi-colored geysers and explosions promptly after were seen.
"Why am I….. suddenly green?" Whisper asked out loud, looking at her Super megaforce suit.
"I…. actually don't know on that one. I thought that was pretty weird too." Adrien said.
"Doesn't matter. Only thing that matters is what they can do! Give me a weapon!" Zero says before two materialized as he was running. These weapons being green tonfas. "Still no sword huh?" Coincidentally, as he says this, two Zero clones run at him. Both of them try to use their speed to overwhelm and confuse him, which didn't work as he patiently awaited for their next move. They both tried to double cross him with opposite travelling Raikousens upwards, leaving a trail of electricity as they did them. But the original slammed the ground for a Rekkoha attack, annihilating both copies.
"You forget. I may be in this suit, but I still can do the same things you can." Zero said.
Even with Titan Mode, Venetta's speed was not to be underestimated, and Whisper saw this firsthand. It was almost the perfect balance of strength and speed. And unfortunately for Whisper, she simply couldn't match or beat the cloned Tenkai Warrior in both and was hit with a devastating kick that sent her flying back.
"She's not as fast as she was before but that cancels out with the strength boost. I need more power!" Whisper thought. She looks at the assortment of keys available to her. " But which one?"
The Venetta Titan was running at her. Once she saw this, Whisper knew that she had to think quickly. "Legendary Ranger Mode! Mighty Morphin'! It's Morphin' Time!"
Whisper changes into the Black Ranger form that Zero was previously in, with the same axe as well, which was what she was looking for. She slammed the ground with the axe but the Venetta copy jumped over the attack and webbed her hands to the axe before she could recover from the ground slam.
Whisper looked up, helpless as she was stuck.
"I don't think so!" Adrien said, running quickly thanks to the speed of Turbo Red, preparing to change again. "Lost Galaxy! Go Galactic! Galaxy Red! Fire Power!" Adrien, with the power of Lost Galaxy's Red Ranger, shoots a stream of fire from his hands to stop the robot from more than likely separating at least one body part from the rest of Whisper's body. While it wasn't enough to take it out, it was enough to leave it stunned for a bit.
"Samurai! Go Go Samurai! Fire Smasher!" Using a large sword, Adrien slashes it, sending a flame-powered slash the robot's way, knocking it down before Sendo, seeing this run, runs and finishes it off with a punch that beheads it as it falls to the ground before exploding.
"Huh. So that's what that does. Now I'm satisfied." Adrien said before going to free Whisper.
Music Stops
"Thank you." Whisper said to him as she reverted back to Super Mega Mode.
"No prob. So how's that legendary mode? Fun, right?"
"I've only used it once…."
"Oh. Give it a few morphs and you'll probably come around. Now come on, we're not through yet."
Rei was fighting three copies of herself in a mixture of hand-to-hand combat and her sword. And they were evenly matched. The original kicks a bot away before dodging a right hook from another before kneeing it in the face. But this didn't stop it as it sent a stream of fire right in front of both of their faces, knocking both down from the heat. This allowed another to use a flame snake to wrap around the original and engulf her in squeezing flames for a few seconds before releasing her. Both the robots flipped their hair, one hand on their hips as they stood over the original before looking to finish her off with a stomp to the face before they were sent away by a stream of fire from the original via her wand.
"That was a big mistake doing that. Because now you've made me mad!" Rei said, standing up in a fighting stance again. They got back into hand-to-hand combat again with the robots using the 2-1 advantage to overwhelm her and forcing her to have to jump high to get away. The clones immediately drew Flame Sniper Arrows to shoot her down.
"Power of the Phoenix!" The original Rei called out, soaring downwards, dodging the arrows and flying through the two.
"Now flip this!" Rei said, not even turning around as she snapped her fingers, causing an explosion everywhere she flew, blowing the Reibots to smithereens.
Kagami and Sendo fought several Rei and Kagabots together, with Sendo now using the Junglechucks while Kagami shot them with the blaster guns from the battlizer armor.
"Must be weird havin' to fight copies of her huh?" Sendo asked, predicting a punch from a Kagabot despite his even further enhanced speed from the Direct Drive Zone and using a smash uppercut to knock the robot's head clean off.
"Not really. 'Cause I know none of these can be as nice as the original." Kagami said before shooting one in the head with a tire projectile.
"Guess not." Sendo said before hitting another Kagabot with multiple Junglechuck hits before punching him as well, numerous times before knocking his head and throwing it at a Reibot's head.
"You're bein' way too animated with takin' me out." Kagami said jokingly.
"I'm just usin' this as an outlet for when you've been bad at challenges. Among other things that haven't exactly been makin' my day."
"Is one of those things me and Rei stayin' at your place?"
"'Course not. That's no skin off my back. I told you that already."
"Do to that to me, the actual me and see what happens."
"Absolutely nothin' if you keep fightin' like this. 'Cause it won't get to that."
Multiple Zero bots surrounded Puss.
"You may think you have me. But actually, it's the other way around. Observe!" Puss said. The Zeros performed several quick slices on Puss, too many for him to be able to humanly react to. Except, he wasn't the one to fall to the ground in defeat. It was every single Zero copy that attacked him. Puss was suddenly behind all of the copies before sheathing the Tanto blade, with every copy exploding afterwards.
"Muy magnifico! An award winning display!" Puss exclaimed before running to join the others.
"I saw the whole thing. Or, at least I think I did. How'd you do that?" Adrien asked him.
"Quick, precise slices. That is all. You should see the gata over there."
Blaze, using her own speed along with the speed from the Cheetah DNA within the Beast Morpher suit, was able to make quick work of every robot in her path, easily being the fastest one in the area, outclassing the Venetta Titans and the Zero clones with ease.
"Cheetah charge!" Blaze called out before taking a running stance as a ring of data and schematics appeared in front of her. Running through it, she changed into energy in the form of a cheetah, quickly dashing through multiple robots. All of which exploded not even a second later.
"I'm glad you guys are having fun but I think it's time we find a way to finish this ASAP!" Zero said, using an upward Hienyaku dash to chop a Zero copy in half with a hatchet after dodging an flamed upward sword attack from it.
"Usually they do a final strike attack. But, we're not all on the same team." Kagami said, elbowing down a Reibot.
"Well, that's out of the question. Unless…." Adrien said. "Hey Whisper! You ready to go back to black?"
"If it'll help us win, sure." Whisper said, blocking two Kagabot kicks before kicking him in the chest and shooting him with the flintlock pistol.
"Alright, pass everyone a key. Any key! Just make sure it's black!"
"Okay!" Whisper throws the keys whenever they others were in a position to get them.
"Alright, you can't just leave us in the dark. What are you thinking?" Rei asked Adrien.
"Kagami wants a final strike and he'll get one! In a way!" Adrien said.
"Passing us the keys isn't gonna do us any good if we can't use them!" Kagami said. "We've got different morphers remember?"
"Crud. Then that means only Whisper and I are gonna be able to do this. Let's hope it's enough. Kagami quick! What're the strongest black forms?"
"Uh, I'm not sure! Never paid much attention to that. I just know pretty much all of em are strong."
"We saw firsthand how good Mighty Morphin' is. Dino thunder was there too! That's another dinosaur one! Use that!" Adrien said.
"Alright!" Whisper said. "Legendary Ranger Mode! Dino Thunder Black! Dino Thunder, Power Up!"
"Legendary Ranger Mode! Mighty Morphin' Black! It's Morphin' Time! Whisper, you ready?"
"Let's go! Brachio staff!" She takes out a black and gold staff.
"Power axe!"
Both slammed the ground.
"Earth strike!" Whisper called out.
Both shook the ground and created a large crater in the ground, shaking it as well and taking out several robots.
"Again!" Adrien called out before using the cannon next.
"Fire strike!" Whisper slams the staff into the ground again, sending fire forward into the crater.
"Don't think you're doing this without me!" Rei said.
"Everyone! Let's go! You're strongest attack, right now!" Zero called out. "Power punch!" Zero threw out rapid-fire punches empowered as his fists were green.
"Fire!" Kagami called out before shooting with the battlizer blasters.
"Full power!" All eight said simultaneously. After sending attacks forward, a large explosion was seen.
Even with this though, a couple robots slipped through the cracks., But Zero threw his hatchets at them to stop them. The eight turned around as an explosion was seen again from the two robots as they returned back to their normal selves, weapons and all for some of them.
The next thing they knew, they were back in the lair. Though the other teams were already back.
"Took you guys long enough." Zak said.
"What the hell was up with all those explosions? I had to make sure this wasn't a Michael Bay movie." Reagan said.
"Yeah…. when you really think about it, Power Rangers had a hell of a lot of explosions." Kagami said.
"Forget the explosions. Who won?" Zero asked.
"Urien's team." Donatello answered.
"Is that actually true?" Bakura asked Splinter.
"Yes. Donatello is completely correct. With Huey's team being second."
Several of the Rats were stunned or disappointed.
"Alright, elephant in the room. Was all of that real?" Sly asked.
"Nope. Virtual." Donatello said.
"Of course. When in doubt, say it's virtual."
"I shouldn't even be surprised, keeping the morphers was too good to be true." Adrien said.
"You guys having that was my idea. You wanted more morphs? Request granted!" Mikey said.
"I'm guessing all you had to do was finish first?" Ryoma asked.
"Forget finishing first. You put us in there against a guy that messed with my mind! What was even the purpose of that!?" Octavia asked, clearly upset.
"Yes. To win, you needed to finish first. But, the purpose was ensure that all of you learned something. As I said before. With that learning being growth. I have gotten the opportunity to watch some of the show before you all had come here. I had noticed that some of you throughout these games have found ways to better yourselves, not as a competitor, but as people. And that was when I decided to do my own game, with the purpose of putting you through a fire to emerge from stronger than ever. But not alone. With each other. I won't ask to know what you've learned. Instead, I am happy to see that you've learned something." Splinter explained.
"We all collaborated for this one. I advocated doing things together as well, along with facing some of your biggest or more pertinent obstacles, even if they aren't your biggest ones or fears." Leo said.
"All I wanted was that it needed to have some good action in it and I was happy. No offense Leo, but that fightin' wasn't gonna b e enough. On paper anyway. Real thing wasn't too bad." Raph said.
"I advocated for the Power Ranger stuff. And all the sweet power-ups and callbacks." Mikey said.
"I advocated to make this game one where you didn't have a choice on who went and who the focus would be out of the four. It was all at random. Because most, if not all of you have some type of obstacle to you knew it wasn't real, it would break the immersion. The morpher voices was me too." Donatello added.
"And I did….. absolutely nothin'. But advocate for a sick game!" Casey said.
"If it makes you feel any better, I had no contribution either." April said to him.
"I guess maybe a little."
"Well, at least now thatg I know we're second, we can finally go back. Take me back home Chris. I need to sleep." Octavia said, mentally exhausted.
"Sure thing. Everyone but Rats, go home." Chris said.
"I cannot believe we were chosen but didn't even get the opportunity to work together. We were the only ones that this happened to." Ryoma said.
"We won. Quit whining and go home." Zak said.
"Still disappointing though." Bakura said.
"I have never seen people so unhappy with a win. Like dude, who cares? We won. Take it."
"Rats, back to the island. It's elimination time." Chris said, opening a portal back to the island.
"Good luck to all of you on the rest of your journey on this show." Leo said.
"Yep! What he said!" Mikey added.
"Be seein' ya." Raph said, giving the peace sign. "I'll be watchin'. Whenever I can anyway."
"Hopefully you'll be able to explore New York on better terms that tonight!" Donnie said.
"Agreed. Not being able to experience this city because of sleep deprivation has to be very disappointing." April said.
"Next time ya come around, I'll have some more stuff for ya to play topside." Casey said.
"Continue to grow and care for each other. Together. As long as you have done or found something to allow you to grow, you have never truly lost." Splinter concluded.

Eventually, all of the Rats finished coming through the portals.
"Alright, it's late. So, I'm not gonna keep you around for that long. I was gonna do a commercial break but I decided to throw you guys a bone for this one. But there probably will be one next time. Just letting you know that now before anyone complains." Chris said.
"As long as it's not during a time like this, I don't really care." Becky F. said. "You want ad revenue, we get it. You're not doing anything groundbreaking."
"In before someone forgets and complains about it, or remembers and still does it anyways. But other than that, go vote."

"Oh that. Kinda wasn't the best time for that."
"But it was the best time to talk about Pretty Princess with Riley."
"Look, I'll get it next episode. Why are you even randomly bringing that up?"
"Just reminding you. And keeping it on record when you forget."
"I won't forget! Jeez. Would you get out of here?"

"Alright, you've all cast your votes and made your decision, you get the deal. I already know you don't wanna hear this so I'm gonna speed things up to the last 3: Kagami, Rei and Rick." Chris said.
"Rick, despite your comments you're safe. Take an honorary ninja turtle mask!" Chef said.
"Honorary. You just got a headband and put holes in it. Kicker is, nobody would know the difference." Rick said.
"Kagami and Rei, you're the last two! So, it's time to split you two up. And that person's going to be….." Chris said.

"No one! It's a tie!"
"Wait, are you serious?" Rei asked.
"No. I'm joking. Would be great if it was though. That would mean you get to go against each other in sudden death."
"Real funny man." Kagami said sarcastically as he and Rei had deadpan looks on their face.
"In all seriousness though, it's Rei. Kagami got some votes but not as many as Rei. Somewhere around Rick's."
Both of them embraced in a hug that seemed like it lasted forever.
"I know it sucks but, it's a part of the game." Kagami said.
"Yeah. I know that. Doesn't make it any less disappointing." She replied. "I'm gonna miss hearing that yelling of yours."
"Wish I could be in Japan but, can't unfortunately. I'll come see you when I do come back for another vaca though."
"You better not forget."
"I won't. I promise."
They embraced again, this time with Rei pulling him in for a separated again after a few seconds.
"I'm glad this last challenge was with you. I could really tell you liked it."
"Could you guys go any slower? Damn." Murasakibara said.
"And could you be any more rude?" Becky B. said to him.
"I know I'm not the only one thinkin' this. I just said it out loud. I'm ready to go home man."
"Hey, one more thing Rei." Kagami said to her.
"Yeah?"
"I would have kicked your a[censored] in sudden death if there was one."
"That's what you wanted to tell me? Pfft. Go home." Rei said, waving him off.
"Uh huh. Can't wait to see how that cooking's going."
"Those dance moves are so good. Totally killing it."
Before they went into their portals, they fist bumped one last time.
"The rest of you are safe. For now." Chris said.
Chris makes his closing statement as everyone else goes home.
"And with that, Rei is gone! Promo's gonna be on TV soon so make sure you check that out. Heck, it might be on the next episode of Total…..Drama…..Across the Multiverse!"

Despite some of the changes I made to this challenge when first writing it, the outcome was always going to be the same. Rei was going to be eliminated this episode.
The Power Rangers chosen for the characters were based off what I thought would fit each character among other factors. So it wasn't a case of it being at random.
Honestly, a good bit of this cast could fit at least one Power Ranger season for one reason or another. E.g. Albedo being an Alien Ranger, Rally being an RPM Ranger, and Wolf being either the Shadow Ranger or the Red Ranger from SPD(The latter because of his and Jack's redemption arcs)
Puss as Samurai Gold AKA Antonio Garcia(Just a reference to Puss' VA Antonio Banderas and just their personalities)
Zero as the Mighty Morphin' Black Ranger and Zeo IV Green(Johnny Yong Bosch plays Adam Park in the Power Rangers series, who was the second Black Ranger after Zack, Zeo Green and the first Turbo Green Ranger)
Kagami as Lightspeed Rescue Red(Carter, LR Red, is a firefighter, another job that Kagami is interested in)
Whisper as RPM Black(The Wolf design on the operator number, the personality of the ranger himself, Dillon, and black seemed to be the best fitting color for Whisper due to her personality)
Rei as Hyperforce Black and Mystic Force Red(The former because Christina Vee portrayed her in the web tabletop game series and the latter because of the powers and the pose that Nick actually does in the show when morphing looks like a sailor moon pose)
Blaze as Beast Morphers Red(The original Red Ranger for that series was supposed to be someone named Blaze before he got infected by a technological Virus)
Sendo as Jungle Fury Red(Jungle Fury Red is supposed to be the spirit of a tiger)
