"Last time on Total Drama Island," Chris says with an arrogant smirk while standing on the Dock of Shame of Camp Wawanakwa as he begins recapping what happened in the last chapter. "The competitors were forced to conquer their deepest, darkest fears. Not all of them succeeded, but others surprised the group and faced their fears head-on. In a shocking twist, not only was Max able to face his fears and confess his love to Sadie, leading them to become a couple, but he was also able to help Courtney conquer her fear and win the challenge for the Killer Bass, but Courtney's big butt practically destroyed the entire pool of jello and send us all flying away as if a bomb had dropped onto the island. Not only that but unfortunately for Maxwell, he had accidentally lost his clothes in front of everyone...yet again. Ha, ha, ha, poor luck, my dude."

"Oh, and after feeling that something was off with Noah and Owen's friendship, Heather was able to convince everyone to vote off the big guy and send him to the Dock of Shame. Not gonna lie. I expected him to last longer. Owen seemed like the kind of contestant who would be a Fan Favorite. Anyway, Noah didn't like that his only alliance member was voted out, so he vowed to get revenge on Heather. Will Noah be successful in getting some justice for his best buddy? Or will Heather's strategic mind prevail and vote him off before he could become the true villain of this season? And will a new friendship between two members of opposite teams be formed? Random cameras and spotlights began appearing in random places in Camp Wawanakwa as one of the cameras appeared in a random forest, a spotlight appeared in front of the cabins, and a second camera appeared out of the ground while carrying around a surprised Beaver as a second spotlight comes out of a tree and knocked away a startled Squirrel as a pair of hands closing a clapperboard appeared and the camera then can be seen zooming in from right to left as it shows all of Camp Wawanakwa and the camera began moving up towards a cliff while showing Chris McLean drinking coffee and commanding the camera crew from a folding chair as the camera reaches the top of the cliff, and it proceeds to dive right down into the lake below as a big splash occurred.

Letting out a loud cheer, a smiling and excited Owen can be seen falling down from the Camp Wawanakwa High Cliff and heading straight down to crash against the lake, producing a huge splash as he swam around and then farted loudly, knocking out a fish with the smell as the camera then panned upwards and showed Bridgette and Geoff floating around in the lake on Bridgette's surfboard while wearing their swimtrunks and bikini as they were flirting with each other, only to stop when the smell of Owen's foul fart hits them, ruining the mood as the unconscious fish reached the surface, and an eagle flies by and picks it up as he proceeds to drop it somewhere in the forest.

In the forest, we see a smiling DJ sitting in the forest with two birds, a chipmunk, a skunk, a frog, two squirrels, a tortoise, and a bunny hanging around him as he seems to get along well with them until the dead fish drops right in front of him, startling the animals and causing them to attack him, causing DJ to scream panickedly and turned around to run away as he runs past Duncan, who could be seen laughing at DJ's misfortune until he notices Courtney glaring at him disapprovingly as she crossed her arms at him and shakes her head as the Bad Boy grinned sheepishly.

The camera then goes through the forest to where Heather and Leshawna are seen slap-fighting angrily in a rubber raft that falls off a waterfall since they were not paying attention as, once they fall by, Harold is seen practicing martial arts moves on a log stretched across a gorge behind the waterfall up until Izzy, who is swinging on a vine, crashes into him, sending them both flying back into camp from where they crash into the confessional and knock a half-dressed Lindsay out of it, revealing her pink panties as she landed in front of her boyfriend Julian, who recovered quickly as he ran over to help his girlfriend up to her feet and pulled up her skirt as she gave him a grateful kiss on the cheek.

Chef Hatchet is then seen in the kitchen, stirring a pot of food with his bare hands as he looks over at Noah and Ezekiel, who are tied up together at the counter as they briefly glance at each other nervously before the camera pans over to the others, who are arm-wrestling at a nearby table as Tyler is struggling to win until Eva defeats him and grins evilly as she accidentally broke his hand, causing him to scream girlishly as she laughed.

The camera then moves out the window and pans over to Sadie, who is sitting near the beach on some stairs and is fawning over Justin as said person looks at himself in two different mirrors, and a heavily blushing Max can be seen putting some sunscreen on his girlfriend Katie, who had taken off her bikini top and laid down on the ground with her breasts smushed against the blanket as she winked up at him sensually just as her boyfriend crushed the sunscreen accidentally as he sprayed her whole back with all of his bottled up white goo, causing her to giggle amusedly with a blush on her face as a seagull, with a fragment of net wrapped around its neck, is seen sitting on the water as a shark jumps over it and eats a trout in mid-air as The seagull appears to be safe until a mysterious tentacle grabs it and pulls it under the water.

Beth is then seen when the camera moves over to the Dock of Shame as she begins twirling around two fire batons in her hands and then tosses the fire batons into the air, and it switches to night as Gwen and Trent are now seen sharing a romantic moment at the campfire pit, sitting next to each other and leaning in closely while smiling flirtatiously...until Cody appears between them, and puts his arms over their shoulders as the camera then zooms out with Gwen and Trent looking awkwardly at an oblivious and beaming Cody while the rest of the campers are seen gathered in a circle around the fire while whistling the tune of, 'I Wanna Be Famous!', as a wooden sign with the words, 'Total Drama Island!' painted onto it is then seen, and the words flash briefly as the screen goes black.

"Bass, Gophers, today's challenge is a true summer camp experience. A canoe trip." Chris says with a big grin on his face as it was a normal day in Muskoka, Ontario, and we cue over to Camp Wawanakwa as we see all of the Killer Bass and Screaming Gophers, except for Beth, gathering around at the beach with the Host of Total Drama Island standing before them as he was explaining the challenge of the day to everyone and there was a bunch of canoes placed on the shore of the Camp Wawanakwa Beach. "You'll be paddling your canoes across the lake to...Boney Island!" Chris says while speaking in an ominous tone as Max and the others share nervous looks. "When you get there, you must portage your canoes to the other side of the island, which is about a two-hour hike through treacherous, dense jungle."

"We gotta pour what?" Geoff asked, perplexed as to what Chris told them to do with their canoes as he scratched the back of his head confusedly.

"Portage."

"..."

"Dude, walk with your canoe." Chris says with a flat look on his face as Geoff lets out a loud 'Ohhhhhhhhhhh' in realization. "When you arrive at the other end of the island, you'll build a rescue fire that will be judged by me. The first team to paddle home and return their canoes to the beach is the winner of the challenge. Move, campers, move." Chris ordered as Max and the others were about to run but stopped as the Host of Total Drama snapped his fingers in realization. "Oh, wait. One more thing I should mention. Legend has it, if you take anything off the island, you'll be cursed forever~," Chris says with an evil laugh as thunder rang around him, causing Max and the others to flinch in shock and fear as they shared worried looks. "Now, get in your canoes, and let's have some fun," Chris says as the Killer Bass and the Screaming Gophers nod while turning around to leave as a toilet flush is heard nearby, and the Host of Total Drama Island turns his head to see a panting Beth running onto the scene as she stops in front of Chris with some toilet paper attached to her shoe.

"What'd I miss?"

"Canoes." Chris stated bluntly while pointing in the direction of the beach with Beth quickly taking off as she ran up to her team.

"So what's the challenge?" Beth asked, out of breath as Trent turned to her.

"Canoe to Boney Island, carry the canoes to the other end, light a signal fire and then canoe back...oh, and do NOT take anything from the island or else you'll be cursed forever."

"Whew, man, thanks, could've saved me a lot of trouble," Beth says with a relieved smile as she then walks up to Julian and Lindsay to canoe with them as Trent turns his head and spots Gwen standing near him as he waves at her weakly with the Goth Girl giving him an icy glare as she crosses her arms and looked away as Max, who was talking to Katie and Courtney, noticed this as he frowned concernedly and Noah, who could be seen talking to Beth and Leshawna, was suddenly brushed to the side by Heather, who walked past him with a smug grin on her face as he fumed.

~[CONFESSIONAL–TRENT]~

"Ever since the last challenge, Gwen has refused to hang out with me, much less talk to me, so whenever I try to explain why I had abandoned her during her challenge, Gwen just brushes me off. I can't blame her, though." Trent says with a somber sigh as he crosses his arms. "I just wished that she gave me the chance to explain."

~[CONFESSIONAL–MAX]~

"So I heard from Julian on what happened with Gwen and Trent during the last challenge, and for some reason, I can't help but feel a bit...sympathetic for them, so...maybe I should help out? Just because we are on different teams, it doesn't mean that I can't look out for my fellow competitors when they need help."

~[CONFESSIONAL–NOAH]~

"I still haven't figured out what to do with Heather...yet. I mean, obviously, I plan to have her voted out, but I want Heather to suffer first for voting out my only Alliance Member, so I have to plan this out carefully."

~[REAL WORLD]~

"Julian! Come with us!" Lindsay says with a smile while sitting with Izzy in a canoe as she was wearing a short red top and blue shorts as Julian, who was walking nearby, admired the view and smirked slyly.

"Sure," Julian says as he walks over to bend down and grabs the canoe, and he uses his superior strength to push it into the water. "Also, I love your new outfit."

"He, he, thanks," Lindsay says with a light blush on her face as Izzy adjusts her life jacket and turns to the others.

"Just follow my technique. I'm 187th Cherokee, you know? Which means that the tribe can claim me at any time."

"Yeah, sure." A bemused Julian says as he gets in the canoe.

"So, you're more than okay with rowing with us, sugar?" Leshawna asked curiously as Noah nodded.

"Yeah, might as well, you know?"

~[CONFESSIONAL–NOAH]~

"With Owen gone, I need to get some new allies, especially ones who are as social as Leshawna and easily manipulated like Beth," Noah says with a dry tone as he crosses his arms.

~[CONFESSIONAL–LESHAWNA]~

"Noah? He's cool. A bit aloof and mysterious, but Noah seems like a pretty cool guy. Although Gwen thought it was weird that he was willing to stick up for Cody, but not gonna lie, Noah made some good points. Cody is an easy vote while Heather is a bigger threat, but in the end, we all made our decision and that Queen Bitch's time will be up soon enough."

~[CONFESSIONAL–BETH]~

"Oh, Noah is a pretty cool guy. He was willing to share a canoe with Leshawna and me and we had a pretty good time." Beth says with a small smile as she shrugs.

~[REAL WORLD]~

"Oh, hey, you dropped this," Beth says after noticing that a photograph fell out of Noah's pocket and landed on the ground as she bent down to grab it and was surprised to see a picture of a four-year-old smiling Owen hugging an annoyed yet smiling four-year-old Noah as they seemed to be in a Daycare. "Wait, is this-,"

"Give me that!" A panicking Noah says while whirling around to grab the photo as his outburst got the attention of everyone, and they glanced at the photo.

"Wait...you and Owen have been friends since you were little kids?" A surprised Leshawna asked as Noah sighed heavily and put away his photo.

"Yeah, we were."

"Huh, I guess this explains why you hang out with each other a lot, but why didn't either of you tell us?" Harold asked curiously while being forced to team up with Heather as Noah shrugged nervously.

"It just didn't seem to be something that needed to be brought up," Noah says before noticing that Heather is smirking at him victoriously as he fumes.

~[CONFESSIONAL–NOAH]~

"Ohhhhh, that bitch is going down, I swear on it," Noah says with a dark look on his face as he scowls.

~[CONFESSIONAL–HEATHER]~

"Knew it, it was so obvious and of course, no one could see it because no one is as smart as me, which is why I had made sure to vote out Owen. Even if Noah only had one ally in his secret alliance, there is no way that I will have him have an ally by his side. And now that Noah is dealt with, it's time to put an end to a possible future alliance, Gwent." Heather says with an evil grin on her face as she files her nails.

~[CONFESSIONAL–MAX]~

"I knew that there was something odd with Noah. I mean, they always hang out with each other, Noah is oddly protective of Owen, and was never disgusted when Owen farted as if he is used to them."

~[REAL WORLD]~

"Hey, Trent, why don't you go with me and Harold?" Heather suggested with a fake cheerful smile while dragging along a protesting Harold as Trent turned to her with a suspicious glare on his face but nodded as they walked off, and Gwen spotted this as she sighed heavily.

"Yo, Gwen, want to join us?" Max suggested while he and Katie worked together to push a canoe into the ocean as Gwen gave them a surprised and bewildered look but nodded as she made her way to them, and we cued back with Geoff as we see him making his way downstairs and glanced over at Bridgette with a soft smile on her face as she turned to supposedly smile and wave at him.

"Courtney! Eva! Want to be my partners?" Bridgette asked with Geoff's eyes widened in shock as Courtney and Eva brushed past him to make their way over to Bridgette.

~[CONFESSIONAL–GEOFF]~

"Man, I thought Bridge and I were tight, but suddenly, I don't know, it's like she's fadin' on me," Geoff said with a sad tone and frown before his mood took a sudden 180 as he smiled cheerfully. "Nah! It's all good."

~[REAL WORLD]~

"Hey Geoff, need a partner?" Duncan asked while he and DJ walked up to Geoff, who perked up as he gave them a thumbs up.

"Excellent," Geoff says as he and the others walk over to their canoe while walking past the girls as the Party Boy tries to smile at Bridgette warmly, only for her to avert her eyes awkwardly as he frowns.

"Oof, that's rough, buddy," Duncan says while struggling not to laugh at Geoff's misery as they walk up to their canoe, and the Party Boy and the Delinquent leap into the boat as DJ stares at it nervously and tap the canoe with his foot.

"Yo, man. Do canoes flip over a lot?" Dj asked nervously.

"No, you're thinking kayaks." Geoff corrected as DJ breathed a sigh of relief as he caught the life jacket that Geoff threw to him as said person and Duncan put on theirs. "Unless we hit some rough water."

"Water can get rough?!" A shocked and tensed DJ asked fearfully as Duncan facepalmed.

"You just HAD to say that..."

~[CONFESSIONAL–DJ]~

"When I was eight, my brothers dared me to jump off the high-dive platform at the pool. I was scared, but I jumped. I wasn't gonna let them call me chicken. I landed on my butt. Sounds better than a belly flop, right? Wrong. My trunks went so far up my butt, I had to go to the hospital and get them removed. They invited a new word for what I did. The wedgie flop. I've been afraid of water ever since."

~[REAL WORLD]~

"On your marks..." Chris says as we see the Killer Bass and the Screaming Gophers riding around in their canoes in groups of three, which consist of Lindsay, Julian, and Izzy; Noah, Beth, and Leshawna; Trent, Harold, and Heather; Gwen, Max, and Katie; Geoff, DJ, and Duncan; Bridgette, Courtney, and Eva. "...get set..." Chris says while reaching into his pocket to pull out a gun as he then aimed it up high into the air. "...paddle!" Chris exclaimed while shooting a bullet into the air to signal the start of the challenge, and all the teams quickly started paddling their canoes in the direction Chris instructed, and as soon as they left, a dead hawk fell to the ground from the air in front of the Host of Total Drama Island. "...Well, shit, that's certainly gonna get me a lawsuit from PETA."

"...and then these bushmen taught us how to properly catch and cook Crocodiles as well as a Koala." Izzy ranted as we see her and the others canoeing across the water to head straight towards Boney Island.

"Wait, isn't killing a Koala illegal?" Julian asked as Izzy shrugged.

"I don't know. Properly yeah." Izzy says with a laugh as Julian gets distracted by her heart-shaped thick ass, and Lindsay notices this as she grins seductively and leans backwards to lay her head on his lap.

"You don't mind if I work on my tan, right~?"

"I don't mind one bit, babe~," Julian says while lowering his head to kiss Lindsay before separating from her as she then whispers into his ear.

"If you want to have sex with Izzy, I'm okay with it."

"Really?"

"Oh yeah, I don't mind if you fuck Izzy as long as you don't fall in love with her," Lindsay says with a sweet smile on her face as Julian smiles excitedly and kisses her in gratitude.

~[CONFESSIONAL–JULIAN]~

"Have I ever told you how much I love Lindsay? She's the best."

~[REAL WORLD]~

"So, Beth, I know that we don't talk or hang out a lot, but can I ask you something?" Noah asked while trying to make sure to have the tone of his voice sound casual as he, Beth, and Leshawna were paddling their boat.

"Sure."

"Why are you friends with someone like Heather?" Noah asked, surprising Beth as Leshawna raised an eyebrow curiously. "Seriously, she treats you horribly, and yet you stick with her. Why?"

"...I...I can't say..." Beth says somberly as Leshawna shakes her head.

"Girl, Noah is right. We can understand why Lindsay would be friends with Heather because she doesn't understand how evil and cruel she is, but with you? It just doesn't make a lick of sense."

"Who I am friends with is none of your business," Beth says bitterly as Noah pretends to give her a sympathetic look.

"Look, while you are right about that, we are just looking out for you. I used to be friends with a guy who I thought was truly my friend, but really, he was just using me. I don't want you to suffer through the same mistake that I made." Noah half-lied solemnly while noticing that Beth looked away with a thoughtful look on her face as he smirked sinisterly in his mind.

~[CONFESSIONAL–NOAH]~

"If Heather thinks that she can get rid of my ally, then I will get rid of hers by leaving the seeds of doubt within Beth, and now, I just have to wait patiently until she blows up and breaks off her alliance with Heather~,"

~[REAL WORLD]~

"So, Trent, I can't help but notice that you and Gwen seem to be tense lately these days," Heather says with a fake caring tone as she, Trent, and Harold rowed their boat across the ocean.

"Buzz off, Heather," Trent says with a scowl as Heather shrugs.

"Hey, I'm just trying to look out for my fellow competitor. No need to be testy." Heather says with a haughty tone as Trent fumes.

"I can see it on your face. You totally have a big crush on Trent." Max says while rowing around on his canoe with the girls as Katie nodded in agreement.

"Is it really that obvious?" Gwen asked with a blush as Katoe shrugged.

"It is from my end."

"Well, even if I do, I can't forgive Trent for abandoning me," Gwen says with a cross glare as Katie frowns a bit.

"But he didn't abandon you...intentionally. Chris sprung his own fear challenge on him and he got distracted."

"He did?" A surprised Gwen asked as she was too angry to listen to Trent's pleas.

"Yeah, Julian told us what really happened during the last challenge. It wasn't his fault, and I can tell that he loves you just as much as I love Katie." Max says as he then gives Gwen a serious look. "I get why you were angry, anyone would be after getting trapped under the beach, but give Trent the chance to explain himself and he will prove how guilty he feels."

"...I...I guess that I will try."

"That's all we ask. Trust me, I can tell the difference between genuine love and fake love just like my Parents' Marriage before my Mom was able to divorce my asshole of a father when I was young." Max says with a dark look on his face as a surprised Gwen turns to him.

"Wait, you were raised by a single mom too?" Gwen asked, much to Max's shock as he blinked.

"Hold on, you were raised by a single mom as well?"

"Yes!" Gwen and Max said in unison as they then blinked slowly.

"Huh, wow, what a coincidence. So is your sister anything like me?" Gwen asked curiously as Max hummed thoughtfully.

"Well, she has been getting interested in dark stuff lately. Like preferring to wear dark clothing and wanting to dye her hair red when she's 16." Max says idly as Gwen chuckles a bit.

"Well, when we get back home, I could teach her a thing or two. Also, I asked that question because you remind me so much of my brother,"

"I do?"

"Yeah, he's a geek too. Loves reading comic book and playing videogames." Gwen says with a shrug as she blushes lightly. "And I've dabbled a bit in them too."

"Oh really?" Max asked as Gwen nodded.

"Yeah, he got me into them a bit."

~[CONFESSIONAL–GWEN]~

"Did I just find my new best friend?"

"Did my Boyfriend just find a new best friend?" Katie asked with a hopeful tone as she squealed happily.

~[REAL WORLD]~

"Can I ask you guys something?" Geoff asked, getting the Brickhouse and the Deliquent's attention as they turned to nod at him. "I gave Bridgette an awesome gift this morning, but she's been sending me some weird vibes."

"Oh man, guys, it was awful." Bridgette ranted to Courtney and Eva as she was telling them the reason why she was distant from Geoff lately.

"It couldn't have been that bad," Eva grunted dismissively as Bridgette shook her head.

"Oh, it was bad, Eves. You see, I came back from brushing my teeth, and I noticed something bulging under my covers. When I lifted them, there it was. It was one of those containers that you put change into in the shape of a heart with macaroni glued to the sides, and on the bottom of it was a picture of Geoff and DJ with DJ ripped out of the photo and replaced with another photo of me. Making it look like a picture of Geoff and me standing next to each other...with some of DJ still remaining on Geoff's side of the photo."

"Oh no." A shocked and appalled Courtney says as Bridgette nods.

"Oh yes."

"...Okay, yeah that's bad," Eva admitted as, while she wasn't a big fan of romance, even she would be appalled if a boy or a girl gave her that as a gift as we then cue over to the boys and we see Geoff explaining in full detail of the gift that he gave Bridgette as DJ looked stunned and horrified as Duncan was laughing loudly.

"No way, dude, please tell me you didn't do that."

"Oh, I did. I made it in arts and crafts."

"No, you didn't," DJ says, not believing that his friend could mess up so badly at making a romantic gift, as Duncan laughs harder.

"It gets worse because, etched into the back was an inscription, it said, 'I hope you think of me whenever you drop loose change into this'," Bridgette says while grabbing her neck and pretending to choke herself as Courtney facepalmed hard and even Eva looked taken back as she whistled.

"Wow, I thought I was bad at romance, but Geoff has me beat," Eva says as the girls hear Duncan laughing loudly in the background.

"Not good?" Geoff asked awkwardly after noticing DJ giving him an uncomfortable look while Duncan was laughing so hard that he nearly fell out of the canoe.

"No, dude. Dang, that is so bad, we need a new word for how bad that is." DJ says as Geoff slumps down dejectedly.

"Calm down, man. Your chance with Bridgette isn't ruined yet," Duncan says after he stops laughing, and DJ nods.

"Yeah, and let me offer some advice to you. You see, datings' like...hmm..." DJ says before trailing off as he looks around and spots Max talking to Gwen and Katie as he perks up. "Okay, so this may seem off topic but I'm gonna go somewhere with this, so bear with me. Anyway, you know that Max is dating Katie, right?"

"Oh, yeah, they started dating ever since the last challenge," Geoff says as Duncan nods.

"And even made a big confession to her. Don't know why she would date a small-dicked dork, but it's her business, not mine."

"Duncan, I'm glad that you brought that up because have you two ever wondered how Max got someone like Katie to like him even with his shortcomings?" DJ asked as the boys shook their heads. "It's because Max first got to know her as a friend and bonded with her. Not to mention helped her out when she needed it, and that caused her to gain feelings for him. Max, unknowingly or not, trod slowly and worked his way up the tiers to get into Katie's Friend Zone in order to reach into her Relationship Zone while you tried to forcibly skip past Bridgette's Friend Zone and hit her Relationship Zone."

"How many tiers are there?" Geoff asked curiously as Duncan smirked cockily.

"Just don't do tier 15 with Bridgette already, dude. It's way too soon for that."

"Uh huh, so anyway, I should like just try and take things slow with Bridgette and be friends with her first before I try asking her out?" Geoff asked thoughtfully as DJ nodded.

"Yes, exactly. If you do that, then even if Bridgette rejects you, you two can still be friends."

"Huh...I never thought of that...wait, I just realized something...I really fucked up, huh?" Geoff asked worriedly as Duncan nodded.

"Yep, you fucked up hard, dude," Duncan says as Geoff groans and facepalms just as the Screaming Gophers and the Killer Bass arrive at Boney Island, which caused all of them to gasp in shock and horror as there was eerie fog bordering the island and the rock formations in the front made the part of the island they were paddling to look like there was a giant skull looking down at them.

An annoyed and red-faced Courtney snapped as we fast forward in time and we cue back to the Screaming Gophers as we see them returning back to the Cabins, and Noah trailed behind to keep up with Heather as, once the others were too far away to hear them, the King of Sarcasm turned his head and pretended to gasp in shock as well as glare at her sternly.

"What are you doing with Gwen's Lucky Charm?"

"Huh?" A confused Heather asked as Noah pointed over at her butt, and she reached behind her to pull out the Cursed Tiki Doll. "Wait, where did this-,"

"You need to give that back. It's Gwen's Lucky Charm, her prized possession. Hell, she forbade us from talking about it much less touch it." Noah scolded as Heather perked up and gained an evil idea as she pretended to smile at him cheerfully.

"Oh, understood. Don't worry, I was planning to hand this back to Gwen anyway." Heather says with a fake, sincere tone as she walks off and Noah gave the camera a smug and sinister grin as he chuckled.

"Hook, line, and sinker~,"

~[Post Credit Scene]~

"You wanted to talk, Max?" Gwen asked as they met on the Camp Wawanakwa Cliff.

"Yeah," Max says with a nod as he and Gwen sit down on the ground. "When we were talking in the canoes today, I just felt something between us. Like I had..."

"Found the best friend you'd been looking for so so long?" Gwen asked as her feet dangled over the cliff. "That's funny because I felt the same way."

"It's honestly funny, I never thought I would make any real friends going into this and yet I found a person who I seemed to click a lot as a friend," Max says with a soft smile on his face as Gwen sighs.

"We're not here to make friends, dude. We're here to win."

"We can do both. Just because we are competing against each other, it doesn't mean we can't be friends during and after the game. Plus, once we're merged, relationships are gonna be what get us through to the end," Max said as he then grew serious. "And that's why I want to form an alliance with you."

"An alliance?" A surprised Gwen asked as Max nodded.

"Yes, not an evil one like Heather has, but more like we have each other's backs when the merge occurs."

"Okay," Gwen said as she smiled and gave her new friend a hug as he hugged her back, and the start of a new friendship had occurred.
