On the 13th, Alem tuber grumbled. "It's our cousin's birthday. I wanna kick his butt." he says.
"When do we get payback on Luke? He hurt N." Uzi says.
"Get out of my house, Uzi." Alem tuber said.
Meanwhile, Minako checks on Luke.
"Luke?" She asked. Luke was washing the tear stains off his face in his bathroom.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Those friends of mine only cared about getting revenge on Barry's worst enemy. They no longer want to be around me." Luke says, going off to train, skipping breakfast.
"That may not be true. Maybe they did it to prevent him from attacking during your birthday. I'm sure they care and if they don't, you have me." Minako says.
Luke sniffed as he punched a training dummy.
Meanwhile, Chibi-Usa was drinking juice. She knew Luke's friends were nice, but she had a feeling they only liked her because she was from the future.
"You guys know I can hear you talking about me at night, right?" she asked. "Also Luke's going to think you're gonna betray him on his birthday. You guys tend to backstab each other in my timeline." Chibi-Usa says.
"Not true. We care about Luke." Hal says
"Then why are you with me?" she asked. "He's crying to Minako and Jacob as we speak."
They later go to Luke. They hear him talking.
"I…I knew they forgot about me already…" Luke sniffled as Jacob was wiping his tears with a silk handkerchief.
"Dude, we didn't forget." Hal says.
"Oh, really?!" Luke sniffed, arms crossed.
"Yes, really." Garth says.
"Please don't cry, Luke…" Minako tells him.
"We really care about you, Luke…" Barry says.
"And we're going to be here for your birthday." Hal says. Luke tries to manage a smile.
"This is my fault. Luke's only worried because we called you guys for help." Minako says.
They look down.
Rei spied on Jacob and left, hurt.
"Rei, what's wrong? Do you know Jacob?" Usagi asked.
"No, why should I know him?" Rei lies and heads off.
"Okay, team, here's my epic revenge plan for avenging N." Uzi says.
"Uzi, we don't do revenge." Savannah says.
"Luke has a record of it." Uzi says.
"When he's provoked." Savannah says.
"He provoked me by hurting N." Uzi says.
"We can't beat Luke and his team." Bill says.
"Uh, yeah, we can." Nimona says.
"Anyway, revenge will make things worse. Let's just focus on N's birthday. Wait, when's Pomni's birthday?" Savannah asked. Pomni thinks.
"Do you even remember? That's so sad." Savannah says.
Meanwhile, Rei was getting dressed.
"Rei, you look fancy." Usagi says.
"I have to meet up to my dad's standards and he's really famous. Don't laugh, but my dad is friends with Jacob's dad. And he liked Jacob a lot. He was never around me when my mom was alive and after my mom died, he wanted nothing to do with me. The only time he came for me was when he had interviews so he could show that he's a good dad. Then he sends me back. He basically disowned me. Since then, I've held a grudge toward Jacob. He's the son my dad always wanted." Rei sobbed.
"Rei, that's unsettling. I know I can't ever feel your pain but hating Jacob will make it worse. You know he didn't want this, right?" Usagi asked.
"I know. I was just really upset and I guess it blinded me." Rei says.
Meanwhile, Jacob and Luke went ice skating with the others.
"It's nice to see you boys not fighting for once." Minako says. But Luke was only smiling partially. She went to buy them hot chocolate. Luke sniffed.
Lola skates up to Jacob. "Hi, Jacob." Lola says.
"Oh, hello, Miss Lola. To what do I owe the pleasure?" Jacob says.
Lola blushed and giggled. "I wanted to hang out with you. I noticed Luke never took you to the pageant stage. I'd love to give you a tour. Maybe we could learn about each other." Lola says.
Lana spied, feeling a bit jealous.
"Oh, darling, that sounds just delightful!" Jacob says. "I would love nothing more. You do have quite an effect on me. And just wait until you hear about the time I won Mr. Teen Bethesda 5 years running. And you'll just flip for my crown pose meme. It's absolutely mesmerizing and it's a national phenomenon, too."
Lola blushed.
"He called me darling…" Lola thought. "Look as much as I admire your pageant stuff, what's there besides that?" Lola asked.
"Well, I love shopping, city life, modeling, a good book by the pool, beach days, trips to the spa, exotic sweets, designer labels, photography, Daddy's department stores, and the finest tea imported from England." Jacob smiled. "It's marvelous. Oh, and hot chocolate imported from Switzerland and Belgium. Delicious in its own right, it is."
"Lola, stop hogging him." Luke says.
"Lukey, stop fussing now." Minako says, slowly stroking his hair.
He sighed.
Meanwhile Usagi and Makato spies on Rei and saw her father
"Wow, this event is big." Usagi says
"They're promoting Barry's new shake flavors. Hey, that's Jacob's dad, Clayton." Makato says.
Meanwhile, Angry Luigi was at the store, thinking.
"We should help Atticus, then he'll be free." he tells Bill. Bill thinks.
"Fine." Bill says.
Later, Jacob took Lola to meet his dad. Lola shook his hand.
Rei just looked off, hiding her emotions well.
"Thanks for this, Jacob." Barry says "So, how does it taste?"
"Hmmm…exquisite!" Jacob says. "Tell me, do you use locally sourced chocolate? Because you should try Godiva. Simply delicious."
Barry grinned. "I love Godiva chocolate." He says.
After a bit the event was over and Rei's father just left her. Rei just broke into tears as Usagi and Makato hugged her.
Meanwhile, Wing Angry Luigi finds Savannah. Savannah was baking Christmas pies
"We're gonna save Atticus." Angry Luigi says.
"I'm in." Savannah says
Meanwhile
"He just did it again." Rei sobbed. "I don't want to blame him, but he just likes Jacob more than me." Rei sniffed.
"Rei, you don't need to attend his events. We fought demons, you can stand up to him." Makato says. Rei sniffed.
Meanwhile, Jacob and Lola enter the stage for the pageant
"Ah, this is where I won my first pageant." Lola says. Jacob explored the stage, a wistful smile on his face.
"So, how many pageants did you win?" Lola asked Jacob.
"I've never lost." he says. He then tells her about how he won Mr. Teen Bethesda 5 years running.
Meanwhile, Angry Luigi and Atticus were walking down a rocky road.
"Honestly, it wasn't that bad. I wasn't in any real danger. You just helped me do it faster." Atticus says.
Angry Luigi squealed.
Savannah watched from a distance. "I'm glad. He can make it to Luke's celebrations." Savannah says.
Meanwhile, Lucy sighed as tomorrow was her birthday. She grumbled. She knew there was a party in the works. She wouldn't attend it. She sighed.
Meanwhile, Dutkus was at his party when Alem tuber crashed it and laughed. He looks annoyed.
Angry Luigi and Emma giggled.
"You're late." Dutkus says.
"Late because I'm awesome." Alem tuber says as he looks annoyed.
Later, Angry Luigi was eating some muffins. "It's great to be back." Angry Luigi says, tossing a muffin up and eating it.
After the party
"Let's go! Onward to new adventures!" Alex says as Delta smirks.
"What about Luke's birthday?" Savannah asked
"We're not really part of his friend group." Nimona points out.
"And? We've been to most of his parties. He invites us to most of them." Savannah says.
"Fine." Alem tuber says, arms crossed.
"You guys seem to like and hate Luke. Is there some sort of rivalry?" Pomni asked.
"Pretty much. Luke beats us in a lot of things and we never get thanked for our hero work and he gets showered with parties." Jason says.
"We seriously gotta find a day for Pomni's birthday." Savannah says.
"Besides, something always goes wrong. Either one of Luke's siblings or friends conveniently has something going on during his week which triggers Luke." Emila says. "You have fun."
Meanwhile, Lucy thinks of a plan to avoid her birthday.
"No, magic will make it worse." she sighed.
"Don't worry. I told them not to give you anything. But Leni will give you some gift. She always does." Lynn says. Lucy was shocked, but hugged Lynn.
Luke was excited for his week and hoped no one would have anything going on. He couldn't wait for the first day of his week to begin.
The next day, Lucy yawned hoping to get this day over with. She heads down thinking there would be some big breakfast, but Luan made her some ghostcakes. Lucy ate them in silence.
Luke was sitting with Jacob at the table, smiling half-heartedly.
"Are you okay, Luke?" Jacob asked. Luke finished his breakfast.
"Luke?" Minako asked.
"Celebrate her." Luke says. "Really. I'll be fine."
"She doesn't want to be celebrated, Luke." Lynn says.
Later, Lucy heads out and gets a package from Haiku.
"Thank you." Lucy says as Haiku nods.
Meanwhile, Kat and Ana arrive and help an old lady across the street. She gives them candy.
Meanwhile, Pauline was doing her thing. When she heard the news about Luke's birthday, she had plans to make it big.
Lucy was watching TV. She was kind of glad the family hadn't made big plans for her birthday.
She was worried about Luke and hoped he was okay. She looks for him.
Meanwhile, Rei thinks back. "I was not sure what to do. No one besides my grandpa liked me. If it wasn't for Usagi, I don't know what I'd do." she says.
"Rei..." Minako says.
"What?" Rei asked.
"Can't you just talk to Jacob? It may help." Minako says.
Later, Rei goes to find him. She spots him sitting with Luke.
"Um, hey, Jacob." Rei says.
"Do you know each other?" Luke asked.
"Yep .. famous dads." Rei sighed. "Though my dad likes Jacob more than me…and for years I hated him a lot"
"My dad's just an owner and a CEO of his department store chain." Jacob says. "He was famous when he was 13 and did the whole acting thing and he was in a band in high school. Now he does department store things." Jacob explained.
"Still pretty famous, though. I mean he has you, Jake." Luke says.
"Yeah, but I'm just pageant famous." Jacob says. "And I'm Clayton Albright's son."
"Jacob…I…" Rei tries to speak but Lola comes up.
"There you are, I got massages for us and Luke." Lola says to Jacob.
Tears welled up in Luke's eyes as he stood to his feet and walked away.
"Luke, I got one for you, too." Lola says.
Rei sighed, leaving.
Meanwhile, Lucy sighed, walking home.
She smiled. "Luke will love this." Lucy says, holding the package.
That night, she got ready for bed, brushing her teeth. She hears Luke and Minako.
Luke was tossing and turning in his sleep. He just wasn't in the mood tonight.
