Chapter- 3 First Step towards Greatness
It's a pleasant Morning and in the Pallet Town and in a moderate house which is located at the heart of the town a 10 year old girl can be seen sleeping in her room. This girl is none other than Mito Ryuki younger sister of Naruto Ryuki. Mito has grown up quite well no longer she is that Malnourished girl that accidentally bumped into her elder brother but a healthy and beautiful girl that has a lot of admirer of her age group.
Soon Mito woke up grumbling about the busted sun as the sunlight came through the window and fell on her face. Opening her eye Mito let out a yawn and stretch a bit to shake of any sleep she had left in her eye.
After that Mito left her room for freshen up. After 20 minute she came out of her bathroom wearing a new pair of clothes consists of a sky blue top on the back white skirt and black stockings and go to her room to pack everything for her journey. Mito has turn ten 2 month ago but she waited for the time when the new batch of trainer will start their journey and today is the day she is going to start her Pokemon Journey just like other trainer who will start his / her journey this year.
After 10 minute Mito has packed everything as she had everything ready just have to put that on her bag. After finishing packing Mito look around her room which is pale pink in colour with a bed, a closet, a desk and selves that consists of books. With a smile she pick up her bag and left her room.
Reaching Down stairs Mito go the Kitchen and started making breakfast for her as her elder brother is not present in the town at this moment as he is in the Sinnoh region doing his research on Dialga and Palkia. After few minute she is done with her breakfast and sat down on the chair and started eating her breakfast.
As she eating her breakfast she started to think about her life after she came to Kanto with her elder brother and these years she can say that it was the happiest moments on her life. She started to think the moments where she studied about pokemon how to take care of them, their behaviour or anything Pokemon related under her surrogate Grand Father who is none other than Prof. Oak and her elder brother Naruto. Memories of her various trip due to her tagging along with her elder brother in his journey whether it is research related or normal journey. Memories of her time in Alola region where she had studied under Prof. Kukui while also helping her brother with his research on Z crystal. Memories of meeting her brother's friend and two in particular who is none other than Cynthia and Clair who she called nee chan and both the girl love her as their younger sister. Memories of both her nee chan competing with each other to gain her brother affection while her brother is so dense that he is clueless about it though she letter found out that her oni chan was not dense but he is acting like that as he can't choose one between as both of them is precious to him and he didn't want to hurt them but in the end both girl decide to share him leading all three of them in a relationship now.
Soon Mito came out of her stupor and look at the clock and see it's nearly 10 am so she quickly finished her breakfast and wash her dishes and left the house for Prof. Oak lab to get her Pokedex and Pokemon.
After 10 minutes of walking Mito reach Prof. Oak lab and knock on the door and after few minutes of waiting the door opend and Prof. Oak came out. Seeing Mito there Prof. Oak smiled and said "Hello Mito I suppose you are here for your Pokemon and Pokedex right?" to which Mito smiled and said " Yes jiji I am here for my Pokemon so I can start my journey." To which Prof. Oak smiled and both of them go inside the lab. After reaching the Lab Prof. Oak go towards his desk and pick up the Pokeball that is sitting on his desk and hand the Pokeball to Mito who took the Pokeball and said " Thank You jiji but what pokemon is this?" to which Prof. Oak smiled and said " Open it and see for yourself" which annoyed Mito a little as her grandfather didn't want to disclose what Pokemon ha had given her but shrugged and call out the Pokemon that is in the Pokeball but what came out of Pokeball is beyond what she had expected as the pokemon infront of her is none other than Deino a shiny one at that.
Soon Mito come out of her shock and pick up her stater pokemon in her arm and started to patt the pokemon who also nudge on her chest making her giggle. After few minute Mito said " How….. how did you know I always want a Dragon type to be my starter and my first choice was a Deino as it is Dark and Dragon type just the type I want to specialize in as even Oni Chan don't know?" to which Prof. Oak chuckle and said " Do you really belive that your brother didn't know what his hime wanted?" which surprise Mito even more but she shake her head as she completely forgot her brother always know what she want or liked even without her telling him. Mito though became sad that her elder brother is not there to see her off on her first journey though she understand that her brother is busy but she still hoped he is there with her and send her off on her journey.
Soon Mito come out of her stupor when she heard a roar that she knew very well and she ran out of the lab to the ranch with Prof. Oak in tow. After exiting the lab they saw a Salamance is hovering above them and Mito quickly recognize it her brothers Salamance which give a small hope to her which didn't go to waste as She saw her brother is waving at her and her surrogate grandfather.
Seeing her brother She smiled brightly and exclaimed " Oni Chan!" to which Naruto smiled and said his Dragon and Flying type pseudo legendary to land on the ground which the pokemon complied. Soon Naruto dismounted his pokemon and said " Hello Hime miss me?" to which Mito hugged his elder brother and asked " Baka Oni Chan why didn't you tell me that you are coming back ?" to which Naruto just chuckle and replied " I didn't tell you because I want to surprise you and did you really think I will not present for the moment where my baby sister will start her journey?" to which Mito just blushed in embarrassment as she really didn't think that her brother will be present when she start her journey as he was busy. Mito quickly composed herself and said " Thank You oni chan for giving me a Deino" to which Naruto just chuckle and said " You're welcome." After that both separate form the embrace. Looking towards Prof. Oak Naruto said " Hello Old Man I hope you are alright to which Prof. Oak just chuckle and said " I am alright Thank you Naruto for asking."
Mito soon tug her brother shirt to gain his attention which is a success when Naruto turn towards her and asked " you want to say something hime ?" to which Mito asked " Umm Oni chan I want to ask where you find a Shiny Deino?" to which Naruto kneel down to get to his baby siter's eye level and said " I didn't find him hime" hearing Naruto's response confused Mito so she voiced her confusion and asked " What do you mean Oni Chan?" to which Naruto chuckle and said " What I mean is that the Deino I gave you is actually the son of My Hydregion and Salamance" hearing this Mito's eye went wide in surprise as she look behind her brother and see that her brother Salamance is nudging her Deino lovingly. Seeing this She smiled and turned towards his brother and said " Thank You Oni Chan to which Naruto said " You are welcome hime" She then go towards Salamance and said " Thank you Salamance for letting your son to be my starter" to which Salamance lick her face making her giggle as she hugged the she dragon.
After sometime Mito separate form Salamance and Move towards her brother as she reaches her brother She saw her brother is finding something in his bag which confuse her but her sonfusion soon turned to shock when her brother bring out a Pokemon Egg and a Pokeball as well as what look like a Badge case not only that some custom pokeball as well. Seeing Mito looking at him in surprise Naruto called his baby sister and soon Mito is in front of him glaring to which Naruto sighed as he know the reason why his baby sis is glaring at him as she didn't want him to spoil her and want to earn things which he respected but that didn't mean he can't spoil her a little but this time it isn't his fault. Naruto soon come out of his stupor when he heard Mito say " Oni chan how many time I told you not to spoil me and I want to earn everything." To which Naruto sighed and said " Sorry Hime but these gifts are not form me." To which Mito raise a eyebrow and asked " Oh then who is it form?" to which Naruto smiled a little and said " The Pokemon Egg is from Cynthia, the custom pokeball and badge case from Clair and the other pokeball from Prof. Kukui"
Hearing Naruto's response Mito sighed but smiled and said " I have to thank them later but if I find out that it is from you then I will not speak to you" to which Naruto nodded his head fearfully and gave Mito everything including the cards that Kukui, Cynthia and Clair send with the Gifts. Reading the card Mito smiled and thought " Thank you Pro. Kukui, Cyn Nee chan, Clair Nee chan" and call the Pokemon out which Kukui send for her When the pokemon come out she was clearly surprised to see the Pokemon is none other than the Fire Type starter of Alola Litten and not just any Litten but the same one she had rescued form a group of Alolan Geodude with his brother's Espeon and Umbrion, The same Litten that had challenged her and she had defeated her and letter became friend and through out her time in Alola Litten had not left her side but when she left with her brother she search for her but couldn't found her which make her really sad but now seeing the fire type infront of her she didn't know how to greet her.
Mito soon felt her brother arm on her shoulder. Looking upwards she saw her brother smiling down at her and heard her brother said " Hime the day we left the Alola Litten was in forest to find a gift for you to give you as a sign for your friendship with her and to say to you that one day she will join you when you start a journey but when she return we already left Alola Region which make her sad but Prof. Kukui found her and explain how you searched for her and how you were sad when you couldn't find her and after that she stayed with Prof. Kukui and now as you start your journey she decided to join you." After hearing Naruto's explaination brought tears to Mito's eye but she wipe off the tear and move towards Litten who also move forward a little and jumped on her waiting arm. Soon Mito hugged Litten as tears started to stream down her eyes and seeing this Litten licked her cheek Making her smile and soon Deino also join the hug while both Naruto and Prof. Oak smiled at the scene.
After few moments Mito broke the hug and wipe the tear away from her cheek and stand up with Deino is beside her and Litten in pearched on her shoulder and she with her elder brother and Surrogate grandfather go inside the lab where Prof. Oak give her a Pokedex which her older brother updated with the data of Deino and Litten and their evolved form and after that they came out of Lab to see the people of Pallet is waiting for her though she also see that Prof. Oak grandson Gary who is arguing with Ash Who is in his Pj's and Gary's fan girls are squealing loudly Mito didn't give her attention to Gary and Ash instead she move forward with a smiled on her face and thanked everyone who is came to see her off while everyone is wishing her good luck while some of them told her show everyone what the Princess of Pallet town is capable of making her blush in embarrassment while her brother laughed at her expense. Yes Mito is regarded as Princess of Pallet because how cheerful and bubbly she is. She is like the soul of the Pallet Town and because of these reason she is called the Princess of Pallet and not to mention her Elder brother is called her hime.
Soon Naruto hug Mito last time and said " Hime if you face a problem please inform me so I can help you and know this no matter what I will love you always" to which Mito smiled brightly and hugged Naruto back and said " Thank You Oni Chan for everything and I will try my hardest to make you Proud" to which Naruto smiled and said " I know that and I am proud of you now go and show the world What The Princess of Pallet Mito Ryuki can do and know this I am rooting for you though I want to ask will you stick to the Dark and Dragon Type or Try to be a Master of any other type?" to which Mito replied " For now I will catch and train other type of Pokemon as well but in future I want to master of Dark and Dragon Type like you as well as Fairy Type it is my future goal."
Hearing Mito's word Naruto said " Then be the best Dark, Dragon and Fairy Master there is and I know you will succeed because I belive in you." To which Mito tear up a little but composed herself and vowed that She will not let her Oni Chan down who take her under his wing and raise her like if she is his daughter and will Make him proud of her also show her past She can become something even without them if they ever try to find her though she has serious doubt that they will try to found her.
Soon She left her elder brother embrace and thanked him as well as other and after that she left the Pallet town towards her new journey to became the best Dark, Dragon and Fairy Type Master.
