Chapter- 4
In the Route 1 Mito can be seen walking towards Viridian City with her starter Pokemon Deino by her side and her other pokemon Litten on her shoulder. As She is walking she has a smile on her face remembering her first time in this Route riding on her Elder brother's shoulder when she first came to Kanto and other numereous time she had been in this route and the forest beside it where some time Her big brother took her to camp out so she can have the experience how to camp when she would start her journey.
Mito is really grateful of her elder brother and always thanks Arceus for that day to let her bumped into her brother. That day everything changed for her. When She run away from her village and family she had one thought in mind to reach the Lumious City so she can get some help from Prof. Sycamore and some day to become a Pokemon Trainer that's it. That time She didn't have any goal as all of her dream was shattered by her family she clearly remember it till today.
Flash Back :-
In the Uzumaki – Namikaze compound a 4 year old Mito can be seen sobbing while her mother Kushina Uzumaki – Namikaze the famous Whirlpool Queen is scholding more like berating the poor 4 year old girl for attacking her older brother while the said brother is standing behind their mother with smug smirk on his face.
" WHAT WERE YOU THINKING YOU DAMN BRAT ATTACKING YOUR BROTHER BECAUSE HE SAID THAT THE POKEMON YOU ARE WITH IS DANGEROUS AND LET HIM CATCH IT SO WHEN YOU ARE OF AGE HE CAN GIVE IT TO YOU" roared Kushina with Mito shrunk in fear but she is also angry that the spoiled brat that her older brother lied about her attacking him with her friend Frokie because he want to catch Frokie and keep it safe for her when she is grown up and her parents belive him. It's just like always her parents ignoring her in favour of her older siblings and when they did interact it to scold her because her older sibling framed her for their pranks or any other false charge so she gets scolded by their parents and because of that she is nothing but an attention seeking spoiled brat to everyone.
As Mito didn't answer to Kushina's question she became even more enraged and slap Mito while saying " WHY ARE YOU NOT ANSWERING MY QUESTION?" to which Mito open her mouth to say the truth but before she could say anything her mother continued her berating and said something that became last straw for her. The thing Kushina said is " YOU KNOW WHAT DON'T SAY ANYTHING GO TO YOUR ROOM. YOU ARE GROUNDED AND I WILL PERSONALLY MAKE SURE YOU DIDN'T GET ANY POKEMON TILL YOU ARE ATLEAST 17 YEAR OLD AND THEN YOU ONLY GET ONE THAT I CHOOSE THAT IS CAPABLE TO KEEP YOU IN LINE THAT IS IF YOU STOP BEING WHAT ARE YOU NOW AN ATTENTION SEEKING SPOILED BRAT." This one sentence broke Mito's all dream yes dream that one day she will be a master of Fire, Water and Electric type and surpass her parents with that Mito spoke first time in the hour she had been getting scolded and screamed " I HATE YOU ALL, I WISH I WAS NEVER BORN" and runaway to her room not seeing the stunned look on her brothers face and equally stunned and hurt look on her mothers face. That day night Mito left the leaf village and started her journey towards Lumious City to find a new purpose in her life as she no longer want to be a Fire Water and Electric type specialist.
Present Time :-
As Mito thinking about her past she started to cry without realising she is crying but come out of her stupor when she feel Litten licked her cheek. As she look at both of her pokemon she saw worry in their face so she wipe her tears away and smiled and reassure them she is fine and apologise for worrying them and soon she again started her journey determined to make her Oni Chan, Nee Chan's, Jiji, Oba Chan as well as everyone of Pallet town who had accepted her with open arms proud of her.
After walking for few minutes Mito came to a clearing and stop and look around then address her two friend " Ok Litten, Deino we are going to train here for some time as well as catch some Pokemon" to which both the Pokemon cry out their name indicating their acceptance.
After that Mito brought her Pokedex and scan both her Pokemon to see what moves they know and what level they are and surprised to see Deino knows some powerful moves like Dragon Pulse, Dragon Breath, Crunch, Assurence, Tackle and Body Slam as well as some moves that are supposed to be learn only by Tm like Zen headbutt, Rain Dance, Thunder Wave as well as all 3 fang attack and Deino is at level 25 whereas Litten is at level 15 and knows Flame Thrower, Fury Swipe, Bite, Double Kick, Scary Face, Lick as well as Tm move Shadow Claw, Fire Spin, Acrobatics.
Soon Mito came out of her stupor and thought " Oni Chan I know you purposefully teach Deino this many moves and made him this much strong but thank you for giving me such strong friend and belive in me that I can control Deino a dragon type who can be stubborn". After that she look towards her Pokemon and said " Wow guys you both are quite strong and knows some good moves but I want to see how good you can use those moves in Battle so you will be battling some wild Pokemon which will give me general Idea on which move we shall improve and how we can combine moves to make awesome combination like Oni Chan as well as this way we can catch some Pokemon" to which Litten and Deino nod their head and prepared themselves for Battle.
With that Mito started to fight and catch some wild Pokemon and in the End of the day She caught a pair of Nidoran with one being Male and Another being Female some Rattata, A Pidgi and a Spearow and a female Pikachu. With the both Pokemon gaining Battle experience with them being level up with Deino being at Level 27 and Litten Being in Level 16 and Mito is very happy with the Result and after that Mito again started to move towards Viridian Town with Deino being in his Pokeball but Litten still out and perched on her left Shoulder.
After walking for 2 hour She reached Viridian and started to move towards Pokemon Centre and as she was passing through the Police station She was stopped by Officer Jenny who said " What are you doing with that Pokemon?" to which Mito became confused but answered " Umm Officer Jenny this Pokemon is mine but she decided to stay outside of her Pokeball" to which Officer Jenny scoffed and said " Yea Right Show me your Id and only then I will belive you" to which Mito just shrugged and bring out her Pokedex and hand it to Officer Jenny who open the Pokedex and it beeped and a Robotic voice was heard who said " Hello I am Dexter I am programmed for Mito Ryuki I can't be replaced if lost"
As soon as Officer Jeny heard that she became paled as she recognised the title Ryuki as everyone know another one with same name Naruto Ryuki Kanto region Champion. Jenny look towards Mito and asked with stutter " Ummm For Forgive me B.. But are Y.. You related to the Ch… Champion?" to which an amused Mito said " Yea He is my big brother" to which what colour left on jenny's face drained because she knew if Mito said this to her brother she can lost her job so she did one thing that is logical in that situation she bowed and said " Sorry Mito san please don't tell your brother because if your brother take action against me I can very well lose my job" to which Mito sighed and said " It's ok officer but why you react like that earlier did something happened?" to which Jenny nod her head and said " Yea you see recently Team rocket is terrorizing this town so I interrogated you to confirm you are not one of them" to which Mito sighed but smiled and said " It's ok officer you are doing your job and I am happy to see you are doing it seriously but now I have to go to the Pokemon Centre so Nurse Joy give my Pokemon a check up" to which Jenny nod her head and offer Mito to drop off to the Pokemon centre but Mito refused and said " Officer you don't have to drop me to the Pokemon centre please stay here at your post and do what are you doing so those poacher get caught and be thrown behind the bar" to which Jenny saluated her and Mito left for Pokemon Centre.
After few minutes of walking Mito reach the Pokemon centre and walked up to Nurse joy who smiled at her and said " Welcome to Viridian Pokemon Centre How can I help you?" to which Mito smiled and said " Thank You Nurse Joy could you give my Pokemons a check up and give me a room" to which Nurse joy nodded and said " Of course please put your pokeballs at the tray and please give me your Pokedex so I can register a room for you" to which Mito nod her head and do just that and waited for few minute when Nurse Joy give her Pokedex back to her and said " Your room is down the corridor 3rd door on the right Room No 103 and please come to the front desk when I call you to take your Poke balls" and left with the tray of Pokeballs.
With that being done Mito sighed and go to her room where she dropped her bag and exit the room to call her Surrogate Grand Father as well as her elder brother. As she was making her way towards the video phone she look outside the window to see that the thunder cloud is forming outside to which she sighed in relief as she managed to reach Viridian before it's start raining.
Soon she is infront of the video phone and she first dialled the number of her surrogate grandfather with whom she knows conversation will be short on the other hand with her brother it will be long so she decided to finish which will end first. Soon Prof. Oak pick up the phone and said with a smile " Ah Mito how is your journey so far?" to which Mito smiled and said "Good Jiji I am already at the Viridian Pokemon Centre" to which Prof. Oak nodded and said " Good good and you also caught some powerful Pokemon as well you truly are your brother's sister you started out just like him" to which Mito smiled happy and proud to be called she is just like her elder brother who is her idol thogh her Nee chan's also her Idol as well as She admire Cynthia as She is a Champion and Clair for her Mastery over Dragon Type. As the conversation is going on Prof. Oak asked " Mito I know that You want to be a master of Dark, Dragon and Fairy Type but what would you do to the other type that you have caught?" to which Mito answered " Nothing Yes I want to be specialist in Dark, Dragon, Fairy type but I am not cruel to abandoned them so I will train them as well interact with them form time to time they will stay as how wild Pokemon stayed and I will visit them whenever I could and if any of those truly wanted to become strong I will train them and they will be like a back up team" to which Prof. Oak Chuckled and said " Just like Naruto huh I am sure he will be proud of you" to which Mito said " Thank You jiji but I have to go a long way to be truly like Oni Chan" to which Prof. Oak smiled and said " I am proud of you" and after that Mito end the phone call and dailed her brothers Pokenav number and it started to ring and after some time her brother pick up and said " Hello?" to which Mito said " Hello Oni Chan I am safely reached to the Viridian" to which Naruto replied " That's great Hime but could you wait for a minute so I can call you back from a Video phone?" to which Mito said " Ok Oni Chan".
As soon as Mito said ok the phone call get disconnected but soon it started to ring so Mito accepts the call and when the Video turned on it showed Not only her Elder brother but one of her Nee Chan's Cynthia who is smiling at her lovingly. Soon she heard Cynthia said " Hello Mito chan how are you?" to which Mito smiled and said " Hello Cyn Nee Chan I am doing great how are you?" to which Cynthia answered " I am doing fine as well so did you like my gift?" to which Mito smiled and said " Yea thank you for the Pokemon Egg Nee Chan" to which Cynthia replied " Your welcome Imouto and sorry I couldn't be there to see you off on your journey" to which Mito said " It's ok Nee Chan I understand you care and love for me is enough for me" to which Cynthia sighed and said " Still thinking about the past I see" to which Mito flinched and look down but she again look up when she heard Cynthia said " Mito Chan you have to move on and forget about them. I know you didn't completely moved on from the past don't let it held you back and if you want to talk and can't say it to your brother you can contact me at any time and speak with me like you can with Clair as well. We are here for you and I didn't say it in the past but like Naruto love you as if you are his daughter I also love you like you are my daughter same with Clair so if you face any problem then call us we are here for you."
Hearing those word Mito started cry and said thank you and I love you to her older sister while she heard her elder brother and sister saying soothing words to her. Soon She stop crying and heard her big brother said " Well hime did you catch any Pokemon?" to which Mito told her Oni Chan and Nee chan her about her journey so far with enthusiasm with make her brother laugh and her nee chan giggle. They talk for some time and decided that it would be best to cut the call so she can get some sleep. As the call is nearing to the end she heard Naruto and Cynthia said to her in unison " I am proud of you Hime / Mito Chan" much to her joy.
After ending the phone call she look outside the window and sweat dropped at seeing it's already morning but her eyes widen in shock when she saw the Legendary Pokemon Ho Oh and she don't know what to do. Soon She come out of her stupor and with a sigh she collect her Pokeball and go towards her room to catch some sleep.
It's 10.30 in the morning Mito woke up and streatched and after that she go to the wash room to freshen up and after that exit her room to go the cafeteria to eat breakfast as she is quite hungry because she didn't ate at night. As she was eating her breakfast she saw sound of Moto cycle coming towards the Pokemon centre. Curious about what's going on She quickly finished her food and exit cafeteria to see officer Jenny inside the Pokemon center with her motor cycle with Ash on the side car holding an injured Pikachu while nurse joy scolding Officer Jenny.
Soon Nurse joy sighed and go the emergency room with Pikachu while Ash look dejected so she goes to see what happened but before she can approach ash the phone of the viridian Pokemon centre started to rang and Ash Pick up only to see it shows Prof. Oak backside to which Mito sweat dropped but decided to listen to the conversation and what she heard make her laugh but she control herself barely as Prof. Oak said with excitement about his bet with Gary that Ash will caught at least one Pokemon before reaching Viridian but deflated when he heard Ash don't caught any Pokemon then she heard Ash say he saw Ho – Oh to which Pro. Oak denied his claim and called him delusional so she decided to intervene and said " Actually jiji what Ash said is correct as I also saw Ho – Oh flying by Viridian city" which Schoked Prof. Oak and he asked " Mito are you 100 percent sure?" to which Mito said " Yeah I am" to which Prof. Oak sighed and said " Well both of you are quite lucky" as Prof. Oak was talking they heard the door bell so Prof Oak lbid them fare well and left to get his pizza.
As the phone call ended Ash run off to call Delia and talk to her and after some time he ended the call and turn around only to see a girl with orange hair and green eyes with her brunt bike glaring at him so he asked " Umm hey you are the girl from before what happened to your bike" to which the girl screamed " WHAT HAPPENED? YOU BRAT STOLE MY BIKE AND DESTRY IT AND LEFT IT IN THE FOREST" to which Ash said " I am sorry but Pikachu was need medical attention" to which the girl calm down and asked " How is he?" to which Ash just look towards the emergency room.
As both of them quarrel with each other Mito looking at the scene with sweat dropped and decided to intervene and asked the girl " Hello I am Mito Ryuki who are you?" to which the orange haired girl turned towards Mito and said " Hello I am Misty nice to meet you" to which Mito nod her head and asked " So what happened between you and this idiot over here" and keep her focus on Misty while ignoring Ash shouts " Hey" to which Misty giggled and told Mito about everything and that she will not leave until Ash paid her back for her bike to which Mito sighed and said " Forget about getting paid as how forgetful he is" to which Ash deflated but didn't say anything.
Soon the door of ER opened and Nurse Joy and Chancy bring out Pikachu and Ash run towards them with Misty and Mito in toe. After reaching them Ash asked about Pikachus condition to which Nurse Joy said " Pikachu will be fine now he just need some rest" to which all of them sighed in relief.
After that they sat down on the couch with Misty talking to Mito and soon the fact Ryuki name come in the conversation when Misty asked Mito if she related to Kanto Champion Naruto to which Mito told her he is her big brother to which Misty squealed and said how luckey Mito is to which Mito smiled and said " Yea you are right"
Soon they heard alarmed blared signalling the team Rocket has sported and soon the glass of the Pokemon centre broken and three blur landed and when the smoke cleared it's revealed three individual with one of them being a Pokemon.
For Next few minute everything became still for Mito as the new comer introduce them as team Rocket member Jessy James and Meowth with Mito has a large sweat drop on her forehead and thought " Where these clown came from" but come out of her stupor and prepare to call Deino when they bring out Ekans and Coffin as Ash shouted he can't let them take Pikachu but the trio dismissed him and said they are here to steal the Pokemon that is there in Pokemon centre and before Mito can challenge them they run past her ignoring her completely to which a tick marked formed on Mito's for head so she run after them but before she call Deino there is an Explosion and Team Rocket blasting off much to her shock so she decide to see what made them blast away but surprise to see it was Ash and Pikachu so she sighed and vowed to teach those criminal a lesson next time.
After some time Nurse joy thanked all of them and they left for pewter city where Ash and Mito will challenge Pewter gym for their first badge and Mito also decide to travel with Ash and Misty some time before she decide to travel alone again with that Mito take first step towards her goal.
