52. Episode 46: Bad Blood

Episode 46!

Renato Chacin- Usually when I say 'everyone does x', it's not actually everyone, it's just easier to describe it that way.

Joel Connell- Sammy in her challenge beast era! Lightning is def powerful. Me needing a quick challenge, so I did a callback. We'll see how Chet does with Mary after her betrayal.

Emilla13- I love when filler scenes or lines stick out to people

Anbelagalbagel- Random question, but are you and MaiMoo friends? You always post reviews around the same time which is iconic behavior I'm ngl. We are all wondering how Staci is still in, I think she's had the least amount of confessionals every episode for a long time LOL

MaiMoo107- At least Devin got screentime. Josee survived though! About the time it takes to write episodes, there was a good period when this began where it took 1-4 days between chapters. Evidently, I have fallen off in terms of motivation and confidence, so they became slower, but it's becoming faster again.

Guest- I like how you still remember the two votes for Millie drama. Lightning is far from a 5 star player, but we can't deny his physical talents making him deserving of how far he's gotten. We will see if the streak is over for you.

Dunsparce- Glad you liked the episode and the talks. I was surprised by how well Tammy and Lightning's scene worked for me

Lacueva- Nichelle is so far one of Sammy's most successful duos since she hasn't been instantly ended lol. Whenever I put in Mary abuse, I think of you. Don't worry, I will spill the tea on all the elimination orders when this is done.

Also a little PSA: Raj's hockey puck got changed to Wayne's hat, the past episodes reflect this. I reread episode 33 and thought it fit way better as Raj's item for the Chet/Mary stuff.

Recap

"Last time on Total Drama Ultimate… the former Water Team members all got into an argument, something that has seemed to be happening more and more as the game has gone on. Lightning set Tammy straight with some blunt words about how she has been blowing her strengths in this game. Nichelle and Sammy continued to bury the hatchet when they won the reward together. On the contrary though, Josee and Lightning's short-term truce came to an end when they cost each other the reward challenge. Raj tricked Chet into getting Wayne's hat back, while MK spread Lightning's name around. This didn't go as planned, as Lightning won yet another immunity. While the votes were supposed to be between Josee and Tammy, Mary- despite Staci's warnings- took the reins and sniped MK out of the game. She wasn't very stealthy, as Raj and Staci blew up her spot to Chet, causing him to be angry about it. Nine players are left, who will be voted out tonight?"

Intro

Cut to Jury House

"You did not M-Slay." Cody comments as MK joins the jurors.

"What is with the constant use of the word slay? Back in the day, people didn't say it all the time." Millie shakes her head.

"Back in the day… girl, you're the same age as us!" MK shades. "Also, Cody, never say M-Slay again. That is out of character for you!"

"Sorry… I'm also sorry you got eliminated. Other than Lightning, you were my top pick." Cody says.

"Too bad that means nothing, cause I didn't win." MK frowns. "I was doing so well too."

"No offense, but I'm glad it's you and not Nichelle or Sammy." Shawn says.

"And you're saying this to me because?"

"I can."

"Okay." MK rolls her eyes.

"So… Mary got you out. Do you know why?" Millie asks while taking a bite of a chili dog.

"No clue, I was going to work with her and Staci for a little longer. I'm glad Chet knows she's a snake, so she can't try to trick him. Hopefully he doesn't do something dumb based on emotions though." MK wishes.

"You may be asking for too much, he treated me badly for one stray vote when I knew he wasn't going home. His emotions are why I don't respect his game." Cody shades.

"He used me as a therapist after hating me for being a 'Yellow Team sympathizer', then voted me out anyway, so I feel you there." Millie agrees. "Lightning wasn't even loyal to you guys, you should've kept me!"

"I didn't know, ugh. I wanted to work with Cody over you." MK responds. "You're annoying, no offense."

"I'm taking a lot of offense!" Millie frowns.

"Maybe we should play some video games to calm down!" Shawn interjects, not wanting an argument to break out. "Should we do 2 against 2?"

"Oh, they don't know what they're in for." Cody smirks as he and MK give each other a nod. Suddenly, the doorbell to the jury house rings. Shawn opens it and sees a pizza delivery man.

"I have four extra-large bacon and pepperoni pizzas with extra cheese, for this address." The man hands the pizzas to Shawn, whose eyes light up.

"A pizza party too? That's awesome!"

"Oh, I actually ordered them all for myself." Millie says, causing everyone else to look deflated. "I may not be a video game master, but I can beat you two! Let's play!"

Day 89

We see everyone walking back into camp. There is no time before Chet begins his tirade. "Mary! How dare you!"

"Let me explain-" Mary tries to explain herself before getting cut off.

"We were supposed to have a deal, then you threw my #1 ally under the bus right away! We could've easily gotten rid of Josee or Tammy-"

"Hey!" both women yell at the same time.

"But no, you had to take out MK! Mind explaining yourself?" Chet demands.

"I-"

"There was no reason for you to do that, you're so dumb! Name one good reason why you would vote for MK!"

"I-"

"I just can't believe it! You may as well have been a peak awfulness Yellow Team member, because you're on their level! Wait, you might be lower than a post episode 4 Yellow Team member! Why would you put yourself into this position of being that awful, huh?!"

"I-"

"And also, the way you voted her-"

"I'm done here." Mary is done being cut off. "Stop yelling."

"And you, Staci! You said that MK was getting votes, yet you weren't fully honest about it. I thought we were spider killing friends together, what happened to that?!" Chet questions.

"You told him?" Mary glares at Staci.

"I didn't say she was going home, but I was honest about her getting votes!" Staci says.

"You weren't honest about the amount, which is the most important." Chet leers.

"We need to have a word." Mary says to Staci, and the duo attempt to walk off. Before they can, Chet pipes up again.

"Mary, give me back that necklace." Chet demands while holding Mary's bracelet. "I don't trust you with it after what you pulled, so give it back now. I'll give you back your bracelet. I'm mad you betrayed me, but I won't do anything to it."

Not wanting any more attention on herself, Mary gets her bracelet, then quickly takes the necklace from her bag and hands it to Chet before she and Staci walk off. Everyone thinks the tirade is over, but Chet turns to Lightning.

"I already knew Sammy was against us, but you? Lightning, we were supposed to stick together, and you voted out MK! We made a deal." Chet rages.

"I don't care." Lightning brushes it off. "You exposed my alliance first."

"You weren't even eliminated, why does it matter?" Chet questions.

"MK was actually targeting you before your immunity win." Sammy points out. "That means Chet was also after you."

Chet turns his head to Sammy. "Excuse me?"

"I'm just telling the truth." Sammy shrugs, though she's smiling while doing so.

"Oh, you're just stirring things up now." Chet leers.

"I don't trust either of you two!" Lightning yells at Chet and Sammy.

"I was just giving you information!" Sammy responds.

"You literally voted for me at Shawn's boot, I don't care!" Lightning shouts in response while the Fire Girls and Raj watch on. Nichelle whispers to Josee. Moments later, Nichelle and Raj walk off while Josee takes Sammy. Tammy facepalms at the fight.

"The Water Team is so messy, it's hilarious to watch. I don't think Sammy should've gotten involved though."

"Nichelle told me to talk to Sammy about the idol so we could build a bond… that makes sense. But I think our plan to drive the conflict worked perfectly. For once, I hope I don't get gold. Chet possibly taking gold as Lightning's biggest enemy might be a good unintended side effect of the MK vote."

"I wish we took Lightning out over Sugar or Millie, I have so many regrets! I hope Mary enjoys being a target, she is done!"

"I think they're less mad at me than they are at each other. With how bad the Water Team is at getting along, I'll take it as a win."

"I can't stand Chet anymore… or Sammy… or Josee… or-" the camera cuts off before he can continue.

"What did you tell Chet? The point is that we weren't supposed to clue him in on things, Staci, you had one job." Mary crosses her arms with clear annoyance in her tone.

"They found out the majority was on MK without me saying it, there was another rat. I didn't even say you were the reason she was getting votes." Staci replies with a frown. "You can't pin this all on me, I told you that this could easily backfire!"

"You probably got their suspicions high." Mary says before groaning. "When I said you needed to get close to Chet, I didn't mean at a detriment to me. Now he is going to target me in the future."

"You wouldn't be a target if you weren't stupid enough to target MK, haha! I warned you, and you didn't listen. My great great great great great great aunt Cecelia invented deafness, and even she listened more than you did! My great uncle Cleatus invented the term genius, and you would not be considered one if he was still alive!" Staci shades, causing Mary to hold in a sigh.

"Whatever. I apologize for my anger, but this isn't a good situation. I must converse with others to build my reputation back up."

"If only she targeted Josee, then this wouldn't have happened! I need to make it up to Chet, so he won't be mad anymore."

Mary takes a deep breath. "I am so tired of that useless dead weight. All she does is say these stupid things no one cares about. She is so lucky that I have been here to carry her this far. I can't vote her out though, because that would be a waste with these other targets around. She has one friend and a bad reputation, no way she would get enough jury votes for her to be a contender. But she did have a point, she couldn't have been the only one to blow up the plan. Someone else must've done it too. The Fire Girls or Tammy might be likely, especially Tammy. She's drifted far from the Outcasts since the merge began."

"So, Mary orchestrated Cody's blindside?" Sammy questions after Josee informs her of what went down.

"Yup. She went to Nichelle and I and told us that we were targets. She wanted Cody out to break up your team." Josee explains.

"Well, it worked out perfectly." Sammy says with an impressed look.

"I could tell." Josee replies, thinking of the fight that went down moments prior.

"Nichelle and I were on the reward last time, I wonder why she didn't tell me this sooner." Sammy has a thoughtful look.

"We were saving the information for down the road, we haven't said this to anyone until today. Don't worry about it, you're tight with us." Josee states.

Sammy nods. "I guess that makes sense, it would be better to throw her under the bus, haha. I'm bummed about Cody being gone though, he was my friend. In fact, Mary has eliminated quite a few of my friends at this point."

"Hm? Like who?" Josee inquires.

"Dave, Jasmine, Zoey, and Gwen. She betrayed the girls and I when we had an alliance, specifically Gwen." Sammy informs. "She has been a snake from early on. Mary has been playing hard. Honestly, it's starting to make me kind of angry."

"I can tell she has been playing hard, though other things have been a priority. The Earth Team has been slipping by anyways, it's been a targeting war without them really involved." Josee says.

"They also aren't close from what I can tell. Tammy has barely spoken to them from what I've seen." Sammy notes.

"Raj isn't tight with them either. Anyways, Nichelle told me about how you two have been getting along. I want to go to the end with you and Nichelle, and we could have Raj as our fourth since he's interested in taking down Mary as well. Are you in?" Josee asks while extending a hand. After a moment, Sammy shakes it. "Good. Now let's spread some of this information against Mary to further bury her."

"I feel like I could do well in a jury vote against Josee, she has a lot of enemies. I still remember how she did Zoey in the try not to cry challenge, but maybe we can have a good relationship now that we have a deal! I'm just hoping that the jury isn't voting for a challenge advantage, and instead just a win."

Confessional: Josee

"I feel like I could do well in a jury vote against Sammy. She has a lot of friends but is also considered a subpar strategic player. I'm hoping that people won't want to have the season end with a winner like that, it is the final season after all. Even if she does get the votes, I have a feeling it will still come down to a challenge. A jury vote is a boring way to end things, no one talks about Total Drama Action's finale for a reason. They'd want to end the show with a bang."

"How did he find out about Mary targeting MK? I wanted him to know about it after the vote, not before it." Nichelle questions Raj.

"I… told him." Raj admits while rubbing his arm. "If I didn't tell him, he would be mad at me the way he is with Mary. And since I'm a Yellow Team member…"

"He would take it as a reason to never trust you again, even slightly?" Nichelle finishes the thought.

"Yeah, that."

"What's up with this? Chet was talking about a deal, and by the sound of things, you were involved as well." Nichelle fishes for information. "Was it at your spa reward?"

"Yeah. We had a good conversation about our personal items, then Mary said she wanted us to all be in the final five. She told us about her dead sister and gave us her bracelets that were connected to her. She said if she voted us off, we could do whatever we want with those bracelets. Chet and I gave up items in exchange." Raj explains, causing Nichelle to raise an eyebrow.

"Ohhhh, help, that's an awkward time to cut his #1." Nichelle chuckles. "Do you still have her bracelet? Chet gave her bracelet back, what about you?"

"I got Wayne's hat back, but I still have Mary's bracelet." Raj admits.

"Hm… maybe you could threaten her with destroying her dead sister's item to pull off a move." Nichelle contemplates.

"No!" Raj protests right away. "That crosses a line, destroying people's valued items is low. Mary is just strategic from what I know, not a bad person. She wouldn't deserve that."

"I was joking, gosh." Nichelle chuckles. "I'm not some mega bitch."

"I couldn't tell!"

"What?!"

"I was joking, gosh!" Raj replies, causing both to laugh.

"Us referencing Harold. Anyways, enough about that, let's get to business. Cody went home because of Mary. She told me to play the idol to take him out, the original plan was MK as we discussed." Nichelle gets to the point quickly.

Raj looks surprised. "Huh… that's odd. I'm surprised she would go for him of all people." he frowns, being sad about hearing the reason behind Cody's departure.

"Like we talked about a few days ago, he was too good socially. Your bond with him was part of the reasoning." Nichelle informs. "She probably didn't want you to branch too far away from her, I think she thinks that you're close."

"I think so too." Raj nods. "I don't blame her for cutting off my option, that was smart. I was telling Cody my suspicions, then he got eliminated."

"It was smart, except she made it to where Josee and I could use that info against her at any time." Nichelle laughs, though her face gets more serious. "What made you not trust Mary though? I just don't want her around for too long because she's making all these moves. You've been on a team with her, I'm sure there's more to your story."

"Did you hear about the chart incident on our team?" Raj questions.

"Vague mentions of it, but please explain."

"Kitty, Tammy, Scott, Courtney, and I formed this alliance after Jo got eliminated. Then Courtney had a chart in her bag revealing the pecking order-"

"Did that bitch learn nothing from All Stars?!" Nichelle's eyes are wide with shock, not believing what she is hearing.

"That's what I thought too!" Raj laughs. "Anyways, we voted her out since Kitty and I were on the bottom. But then Scott said he saw the paper from Courtney's chart in an area where Mary was digging. It led to them fighting, and I think Mary used Staci to threaten Tammy and I into not flipping by saying she would destroy our games at the merge."

"You think she did?"

"I don't think Staci came up with it herself…"

"Oh, fair. Were you actually considering flipping?" Nichelle asks.

"I didn't really decide, but I'm glad I didn't." Raj says. "I haven't been targeted at all since the merge. If Staci joined up with Chet at the merge, I'm sure nothing would've stopped him from relentlessly targeting me."

"True, true. So, basically these unconfirmed rumors that make her seem like even more of a player?" Nichelle questions.

"Yeah. I don't blame her at all for those because she was just trying to stay in- it'd be dumb to get mad over it- but players like that are hard to go against." Raj says. "My bigger problem is the unknown of what happened before we met. She was saying that she was friends with Bowie, so she knew I had drama with Noah. I gave her more details on the situation, and ever since, she's been making these comments…"

Raj trails off. "Comments about?" Nichelle taps her foot, confused by the sudden cutoff.

"It's hard to describe, but they feel very toned or targeted to make me feel like I need her or something. These comments about how I shouldn't think too hard about votes, how I'm a B player, and she's been mentioning how she's Bowie's friend a lot." Raj explains.

"That is sketchy." Nichelle narrows her eyes. "Please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm surprised you could pick up on that."

"I went through this with Noah, I'm not following it with his female version!" Raj exclaims, causing Nichelle to laugh.

"She's more like female Harold- wow, I've thought more about Harold in this one conversation than I did on the Emerald Team as a whole." Nichelle comments. "But thanks for telling me all this, but now we have the power. HOOP HOOP!"

"Hoop Hoop?" Raj questions.

"Isn't that the Snow Owls thing?"

"It's hoot hoot!" Raj corrects.

"Oops. Let's just fist bump instead of cheer." Nichelle decides. Nichelle and Raj fist bump afterwards.

"Like I said to Nichelle, I don't think Mary is a bad person. She's just like Noah, someone who is just trying their best to win. But that doesn't mean I'm not threatened by it. I'm glad being patient and biding my time has paid off, others realize the same thing I do."

"Call Raj and I bad servers, because we always spill the tea! That was a productive conversation. I was only getting vague bits and pieces about the Earth Team and what was really going on there, but my bond with Raj managed to help. Now that he knows she took out one of his allies, he will be even more against her. I'm going to sound egotistical af…" Nichelle unironically says 'af'. "But I think I can make it to the end, 100%. There are multiple rivalries, and I have a good core of solid allies."

Cut to reward challenge

We see everyone gather in a room with a bunch of plates and bowls. "Is this a cooking challenge?" Sammy asks.

"Nope. Time to explain your next reward challenge. Each station has a bunch of plates and bowls. You will start this challenge holding one plate, and your challenge is to stack more items for as long as possible without having it fall. I will call out for you to either add a plate or bowl to the stack for each round, so this should be simple." Chris explains.

We see everyone holding a plate. "Add a bowl."

Everyone adds a plate. This is also a top tier description. It's so top tier that we skip a few rounds to where it's actually likely that someone's stack could drop.

"Add a bowl." Chris says for the third time in a row. Nichelle shakes her arm on purpose so her stack falls. Raj adds a bowl, but his stack is too wobbly, and it falls. Lightning joins him soon after, him not being the best at balancing these items.

"Yes!" Josee cheers. Lightning glares at her, causing Josee to clear her throat. "That was about something else."

"Nichelle, Raj, and Lightning are out. It's down to Mary, Sammy, Chet, Staci, Josee, and Tammy." Chris says. "Put on another bowl."

"Again?" Chet complains.

"This is the fourth bowl in a row." Tammy says as her, Sammy, and Chet's stacks fall.

"Only three remain! Stack another bowl!" Chris says, getting groans out of the remaining three. Staci and Mary's stacks fall here, ending the challenge in under 300 words because that's funny.

"Josee wins the reward!"

"YES!" Josee yells. "I win, haha! I beat you! I'm the best challenge competitor here!"

Josee points to Lightning as she says this, causing him to look angry. "Oh, shut it! You only won by luck, there was no skill to this!"

"Actually, I had my bowls upside down, the rest of you were putting them up normally." Josee corrects.

"Jinkies, I should've thought of that." Mary frowns.

"Shut up!" Chet interjects, causing Mary to give a blank stare to the camera.

"Anyways, Josee, pick someone to join you on your feast reward!" Chris says.

"Can the rewards stop only being feasts? Get some variety." Tammy states.

"Hush. Josee, pick someone."

"Sammy." Josee picks. Sammy has a grateful smile.

"It's always nice to be picked."

"I'm so bad at trying to be under the radar and blending in… I shouldn't have taunted Lightning, but I had to! After he robbed me of so many victories, it was my turn to shove a win in his face!"

We see Nichelle, Lightning, and Tammy all gathered around. "I need to tell you two something." Nichelle says.

"You're pregnant?" Lightning questions. Tammy looks baffled at this.

"Do I look like it?!"

"No."

"There's your answer. It's about the Cody boot." Nichelle says.

"It's too early to make me sad!"

"It is literally the afternoon, hush." Nichelle rolls her eyes.

"Whatever! Are you here to rub it in that you idoled him out or something after Josee won the reward?" Lightning accuses.

"Erm… no. I said that I knew to play the idol on intuition, but that was a lie. Someone told me." Nichelle states.

"Was it Shawn? We didn't tell him it was you, but it was heavily implied to be you or Josee." Tammy guesses.

"No, it was Mary."

"Oh, that doesn't shock us-" Tammy gets cut off by Lightning's gasp.

"What?! That surprises the hell out of me, why would that nerd do it?! Did she take out my closest friend because I voted out that other nerd?!" Lightning questions about the Ellody boot loudly, startling Tammy.

"I don't know, maybe. The others already know about it. I'm just saying that Chet isn't the only person who should be looking out for her." Nichelle says before walking off, leaving the other two to be alone.

"Oh, that big nose bitch is dead!" Lightning punches his fist into his hand.

"Calm down, we can just vote her off soon. Or Josee, whichever one comes first." Tammy assures.

"I wish there was a double and we could send them both home!" Lightning states. "Josee won the stupidest challenge of the merge and acted like she accomplished something."

Tammy chuckles. "Yeah, her ego is out of control. Mary might be a bigger target because of Chet, but Josee is our bigger problem."

"Exactly, though if we have to vote Mary, Lightning ain't opposed! Cody was the only reason I could try to tolerate some of these idiots. Chet is so annoying when he betrayed me first, and Sammy keeps targeting me like I didn't carry her ass to the merge by winning all those challenges on Water for us to begin with!" Lightning begins ranting.

"Uh… do you find me annoying?" Tammy asks.

"You were on the verge of it with your worrying, I was begging for you to chill. But you're solid now." Lightning replies.

"What a compliment." Tammy deadpans at 'solid' being Lightning's highest praise.

"Let's be real, we have no common ground as people. But I work with you since you've been in Lightning's corner, and I will always make sure my team wins!" Lightning says despite this being an individual game at this point. "Thanks for actually having my back since that relay challenge."

"You're welcome, I've been trying to have a solid alliance for a while." Tammy replies. "Even if we don't have common ground outside of the game, we can have it in here! You'll still be there for that plan after this is over though, right?"

"Do you think I told you to meet me for no reason?" Lightning looks confused. "Duh, of course I'll be."

"Thankfully I'm seen as worthy in his eyes. I feel like if he sees you as an asset, he will be a ride or die ally."

"I am praying that the jury vote is just for a challenge advantage, because my game is not social at all. I've made one friend in Cody and a few acquaintances that are good to be around like Tammy. I got here by actually being talented, so I know people will hold it against me because they don't win anything." Lightning scoffs.

Chet is throwing rocks at the trees, pretending that the tree is Mary. "Hi-" he hears a voice before turning around and throwing a rock at the source, that being Staci. "Oops… eh, deserved!" Chet doesn't care before we cut away.

"If Mary walks by today, I will do that to her! Then I will dance over her fallen body."

As usual, Nichelle and Raj are at the lake. This time, they're taking a swim. Well, Raj is.

"Come on Nichelle, the water feels fine!" Raj says from inside the lake.

"Hard pass, the furthest I'll go is ankle deep. I can't risk getting my hair wet!" Nichelle responds while flipping her hair.

"Your hair will be fine, now get in!" Raj presses.

"Tsk, you're a man, you don't understand!" Nichelle scoffs. "Women care more about their appearance."

"That's not true! Bowie puts a lot of effort into the way he looks."

"Well, he's different. His… 'genre' of gay men like to make themselves look pretty too."

"I know what a twink is, you don't have to explain it to me like I'm five."

"My bad!" Nichelle raises her hands up.

"But fine, I won't force you to swim if you don't want to." Raj caves in.

Nichelle smiles. "Thanks Raj, I'm glad you understand."

Raj swims underwater for a moment, then resurfaces.

"Woah, there's an idol hidden under a rock over here!" Raj exclaims. "I can't stay underwater long enough to get it, though."

"OMG WHAT!?" Nichelle shouts. Without hesitation, she runs into the pond and swims where Raj was to find this supposed 'idol'. Unfortunately, she does not find it.

"Where is it?" Nichelle asks with worry.

Raj belly laughs. "I was joking, there is no idol!"

"RAJ, what the hell!" Nichelle splashes Raj in anger. "Why did you do that!?"

"I had to get you to swim somehow!"

"Well damn, you tricked me good." Nichelle admits. "I guess I'll swim with you now that I'm in here."

"I knew Raj was lying about there being an idol the whole time, I just want him to believe that I'm desperate for safety, so he doesn't view me as a big threat that's running the game."

To no one's surprise, Nichelle is lying yet again.

"I think Nichelle might be idolsexual! I'll be there to support her when she comes out."

We see Mary sitting in the shelter by herself. She looks annoyed. She isn't by herself for long, as Tammy joins her. "Hi."

"Hi." Mary gives a weak wave in reply. "Many apologies for my lack of social skills as of late, the Chet situation is quite bothersome."

"He's really mad about MK leaving. I'm honestly glad she's gone, so you did me a favor by targeting her." Tammy says.

"Indeed, though it clearly backfired with how Chet reacted." Mary says.

"Your game is kind of exposed now." Tammy states the obvious.

"I know that, and Chet is probably spreading the word to get rid of me. Lightning walked by a few minutes ago and was glaring at me like I murdered his family." Mary crosses her arms. "This is not good, I feel like he knows something…"

"That you told Josee and Nichelle how to use the idol? Yeah, everyone knows about it." Tammy continues, causing Mary to look irritated. She decides not to make a big fuss over it, instead choosing to make more conversation.

"You may be upset I went against the plan, but to be truthful, Cody's elimination was good. You know Lightning would not prioritize you over him." Mary states.

"Fair. That's why I don't really care too much about him going specifically."

"Are you mad about me going behind everyone's back though?" Mary asks.

"It depends on how you answer this question. Be honest, were you behind the chart and Staci threat?" Tammy questions. "And I mean it by 'be honest', because I know the answer."

Mary sighs. "Fine, I was."

"She was clearly looking for honesty, and I had to give it to her. I could tell she already knew the answer…"

Tammy frowns. "Why did you have to write 'pawn' and give me a stupid face on the chart right after I told you about the Julia and MK situation? And did someone leak our alliance to you?"

Mary shakes her head. "No one leaked it, Staci and I overheard. But let's be honest, I had to make those moves to survive. It's not like I was doing these things to be some villain, you were all targeting me first. And I insulted myself too with the big nose drawing, it's not exactly like I'm overjoyed when a lot of you make comments about it. And if you're at all upset about the Staci thing, if you were actually loyal to me, at worst it would be kind of annoying. If you weren't planning on flipping, then being threatened wouldn't have changed your gameplan at all. Any move I made regarding you was in response to you going after me first, same with Raj."

Tammy pauses. "I guess… you have a point. I just feel bad for getting angry at Courtney."

"That's fair, but Courtney and Scott legitimately did see you as a pawn." Mary shrugs. "Nothing on the chart was a lie except for the creator."

"I know, but you also viewed me as a pawn too, I'm sure." Tammy narrows her eyes.

Mary sighs, ready to give some more honesty. "You're right." she says, causing Tammy's eye to twitch as she resists getting angry. "Though my opinion has changed post merge, we've barely talked, and you have clearly been doing things without me with your cross-team alliance."

"Try not to underestimate people so much." Tammy shrugs, causing Mary to slowly nod.

"I don't underestimate you, I consider you a notable player due to your attachment to Lightning. I apologize if I upset you."

"I was being honest in what I said, she has been doing more than I gave her credit for, she did branch out. Raj tried once with Cody then called it a day when he was eliminated, while Staci only branched out to Chet because I told her to… and she still managed to mess it up. Never go full Staci. As for Nichelle and Josee, they're going around and ruining my game even more! I'm sure Raj and Lightning are upset that I took out Cody! I should've just voted with them at Shawn's boot, then I'd be fine…"

"While on a personal note, I'm glad Mary respects me more, it brings me back to what Lightning said. Her not respecting me would be better for my game, even if it's personally annoying. If I didn't talk to Lightning, I probably would've snapped at Mary. She's gone soon anyways, so I can't complain too much."

Cut to reward

We see Josee and Sammy having a conversation. "Are you sure bragging about your win to Lightning was a good idea? There is already so much drama with how we've been spreading information to the others about Mary, you shouldn't heat up your own rivalry." Sammy worries while biting into some eggs.

"Ugh, I know it was a bad idea in hindsight." Josee facepalms. "I'm just very competitive and was sick of him beating me so much. You wouldn't get it."

Sammy looks a bit surprised. "What do you mean I wouldn't get it? I won the same amount of post merge challenges as you have, and faster than you at that."

Josee rolls her eyes. "Whatever. You just seem… I don't know if passive is the word, but not always fighting to win things."

"I fight all the time!" Sammy replies with an annoyed look. "I've lost so many people and I'm still here, so I'm doing something right."

Josee laughs, further annoying Sammy. "Don't take this the wrong way, but it's what you said earlier. You said that Mary eliminated a lot of your friends only just started to make you mad. This hasn't happened to me much since I'm always trying my best to stay in the loop, but if something really bad happened, I would get pissed right away and want to correct the error. Any lost ally or out of the loop moment is unacceptable to me, and it should be to you too."

"I don't know how I'd go about it without destroying my social game further. Didn't you need an idol to survive the Ruby Team?" Sammy asks, causing Josee to grimace.

"Alright, you may have a point…" Josee sighs. "I just had a powerhouse group that took ages to lose one of us for most of this game. I've just never been one to shy away from the spotlight, my mantra in life is that anything but winning is unacceptable."

"I can tell, you freak out with any loss." Sammy chuckles. "I'm kind of the opposite, I've always tried to avoid the spotlight. Things can't get worse if people don't notice you, right?"

"True." Josee concedes. "I'm not saying any of this to you to try and be this rude person, but it's to light a fire under you. There are nine left, and I want us to dominate the endgame. We need all of us giving it 100% every round to make sure we slip through, there is no room for failure."

"I see what you're saying… I was actually in the loop last vote, and I don't think I'm a target. I think I'm well positioned, but you probably are the biggest target of us." Sammy states. "You have this habit of putting a target on yourself needlessly… like did you need to make every single person cry?"

"This again…" Josee puts her head in her hand. "I know it was harsh, but my team was on a losing streak! I've apologized to Raj, Tyler, and Tammy already."

"I was mostly upset about what you said to Zoey, but I'm glad you apologized to them." Sammy says.

"But this does go back to what we talked about with doing whatever it takes. I wasn't even the next to go on my team, yet I did my best to guarantee us safety. If Zoey and Jasmine were eliminated, the phase continued, and the try not to cry challenge was next… would you have the killer instinct to do what I did with a much worse position?" Josee questions.

Sammy hesitates. "I don't think I would've been able to do it… I can be harsh when needed, but I would feel bad. Especially because they could've been potential friends."

Josee shakes her head. "You know, sometimes I wish I was able to understand that mindset. I didn't even choose Jacques for my team, and he's my closest friend. I was loyal to the Forgiveness Alliance- except for Shawn after he betrayed me- and that's it."

"Forgiveness Alliance?! What kind of name is that?"

"Shawn named our alliance that since we were against the Revenge of the Island players… anti revenge is forgiving." Josee explains with a dry tone. Sammy facepalms.

"That's so dumb."

"I know!" Josee responds, and both women laugh at the dreadful alliance name.

"But you are capable of having that mindset, you just let your competitiveness take over and go to the extreme sometimes. I'm surprised you aren't mad at me for winning multiple challenges though." Sammy states.

"Lightning won a more important challenge to me…" Josee mutters. "But you're right about me, I guess."

"And about what you said earlier, I was able to cut Zoey for my own game when I needed to, and I tried to save Harold when I realized he was a target, it just backfired. But you do have a point that I could have been more proactive and three steps ahead at certain points so people wouldn't have found out about my alliances. We both have things to work on." Sammy says. "We can be friends and help each other with our weaknesses!"

"Friends? Like I said, I'm not exactly amazing with those…" Josee rubs her arm.

"Come on, it will be easy. If you want to go to the final 3, we will have plenty of time to work together… a whole 11 days!"

Confessional: Sammy

"I'm always on the lookout for more potential friends. Even if Josee is an odd candidate, I am in an alliance with her, so I would like us to get along well!"

Confessional: Josee

"I guess it can't hurt to her point, she will only be my competition in the end if I get my way. We have six more votes before then though, and I shouldn't make an enemy out of her. I hope she's as motivated as I am to make it."

Josee pauses.

"Unless her friendship curse gets me too, then befriending her is bad-"

"This is going to sound so counterintuitive to what we just talked about, but I think I will have to annoy Lightning. We need to make sure he loses immunity." Josee says. "I know we were talking about the Mary and Chet thing, but I actually want to use them as a way to blindside Lightning when he doesn't see it coming."

"Annoying him won't do any good." Sammy frowns. "He will think you're targeting him, it needs to be a surprise."

"I will only do something if he's about to win immunity again, the plan won't work without it." Josee says, causing Sammy to nod.

Day 90

We cut to early the next morning, where Nichelle and Josee are talking. "I think she's at her most motivated, which is good." Josee fills Nichelle in on how the reward went.

"Good. I put Mary's neck on the line, and I think it's working well."

"I can tell." Mary says as she walks in with a displeased expression. The Fire Girls give her blank stares. "Why did you guys tell everyone about the idol? I am the only reason you knew to play the idol, you would be gone if it weren't for me."

Nichelle shrugs nonchalantly. "There are no I owe you's in this game, you should know that."

"I just don't see the point. Did the MK move really threaten you guys that much?" Mary questions.

"Not really." Nichelle says, not being too interested in this conversation.

"I was trying to be with you guys, but-"

"Why didn't you vote for Lightning then?" Nichelle cuts her off.

"Josee didn't either." Mary points at the ice dancer.

"So?" Josee questions. "This has nothing to do with your vote."

"I told you, I didn't decide in time-"

"It shouldn't have been a hard decision. I was relying on you and Staci, but you didn't pull through." Nichelle replies. Mary hides an annoyed look before walking away.

"Girl says she's a genius and then doesn't see why we'd do this. I don't really care if she complains about it, the numbers are against her. I don't know who told her we all knew, but it doesn't matter to me, she knew she was a target anyways."

"I fear that my target might be even bigger than Lightning's or Josee's despite their rivalry, Chet 100% is voting for me. Lightning is mad at me, which means Tammy by extension will vote with him. I can't trust Staci not to do something stupid, Sammy was my opposition, the Fire Girls exposed, and Raj is probably not happy with me either, though we haven't spoken. I cannot be forced to use my idol just yet, I need to delay being up for elimination as long as possible! They can flush it now, then easily pick me off later. If Lightning or Josee win the upcoming immunity, I am 100% out of the game. I doubt I'll be good enough to win immunity, but I need to do something, so…"

Suddenly, Mary has a look of thought.

We cut to later in the day. We see Mary digging into Chet's bag and taking his necklace. We later see her dig into Raj's, and take Wayne's hat. She takes her bracelets off. "If I don't need to do it, I'll just put the items back…"

…

We cut to right before the immunity challenge. "Uh, I think I lost my necklace!" Chet worries.

"Maybe you need to keep better track of your things!" Tammy suggests.

"Shut up!" Chet says. Before he can continue digging around, production forces them to attend the challenge.

Cut to Immunity Challenge

We cut to a huge obstacle course. The final 9 all walk in. "Welcome final 9 to your next immunity challenge! Before we begin, Lightning, I'm going to need your necklace back." Chris informs. Lightning goes over to Chris and lets him take it off. "Immunity is back up for grabs! For today's challenge, you can see it's a fun obstacle course. The first area is full of tires with some fun surprises that could hinder your progress."

"Wasn't this on All Stars?" Tammy asks.

"Yes, it was." Chris nods. "Once you make it there, you will have to finish a slide puzzle before continuing. Once you do that, you must climb the rock wall, that will be sure to give you trouble! When you finish that, you must find a needle in a haystack. When you show it to the scanner, you will have to climb uphill with some obstacles looking to slow you down. The first person to hit the button at the top wins immunity, cannot be voted out, and is in our final 8!"

"Sounds easy." Lightning gives a confident smirk, annoying Josee, though she doesn't say anything.

"I was hoping someone would say that! You will have to carry heavy backpacks as you go!" Chris laughs, causing everyone to groan. "Everyone say thanks Lightning!"

"Thanks Li-"

"Sha-shut up!" Lightning shuts the group down.

…

We see everyone lined up. "Ready… begin!" Chris says. Everyone begins to run across the area of tires. Lightning, Josee, Nichelle, Raj, and Sammy are ahead of the other four. Chet and Mary are at around the same point.

"Stop running near me!" Chet demands.

"Chet, did you not listen to a single word of the therapy with Millie or I? You need to stop holding grudges when something doesn't go your way. I would still be pleased to work with you." Mary tries to mend fences.

"One, that was about the Yellow Team specifically, not in general! I have not yelled at Raj all day! And two, how can I trust your words of therapy when you lied to me? You said that you were on board with taking out Josee!" Chet shouts.

"Chet, everyone has to lie at some point! It wasn't personal, it's because I was threatened! You pick such amazing friends that I have to-"

"Mary." Chet deadpans, clearly not buying this.

"Chet, just think about it! Your mother and my sister wouldn't want us to fight!" Mary says, causing Chet to give her a weirded out look. Moments later, Chet trips on one of the tires and falls down. Mary goes on without him.

Confessional: Mary

"I'm throwing everything I can at the wall!" Mary says, the things not going to plan clearly stressing her out at this point.

We see Staci walking up and helping Chet. Chet has a grateful look. "Uh, thanks. Sorry for throwing the rock at you, you startled me!"

"It's okay! If you do it again though, I will send my cousin Tyson after you! He has killed 578 people!" Staci replies.

"Thanks- wait, what?!"

…

We see Lightning and Josee leading the pack. A burst of fire comes through one of the tires, scaring them. "Is he trying to kill us?" Lightning asks.

"This reminds me too much of the Fire Team." Josee mutters as they reach the slide puzzle. Lightning looks back at Tammy and motions for her to quicken the pace, causing her to hurry as Raj, Sammy, and Nichelle make their way to the slide puzzle.

"I'm not very good at these." Raj frowns.

"Neither am I!" Lightning agrees.

"Truly shocking." Sammy sarcastically inputs as they all begin working on it. Mary and Tammy arrive shortly after. Sammy begins talking to Nichelle as they do the puzzle. "We haven't had something like this in a while, it's a bit of a shock!"

"I wish it didn't involve multiple physical obstacles, that means Lightning is more likely to win." Nichelle frowns. Sammy returns it.

"You're right, ugh." Sammy groans. "I hope he's stumped enough on the puzzle to make sure one of us wins."

"I'm hoping for Josee." Nichelle replies as we cut to Raj and Mary.

"Raj?"

"Mary?"

"So, you know about the Cody thing?" Mary questions. Raj slowly nods, trying to focus on the puzzle. "Are you mad at me?"

"Uh, no."

"Do you still trust me?"

"Mary, I'm trying to focus! Stop talking to me." Raj snaps, getting frustrated the more time goes on without making good progress as Staci and Chet make it. Mary finishes the puzzle first and runs off to the next station.

"Should we be worried?" Sammy questions.

"If we hurry up, we will clear her in the physical portion. Let's go!" Nichelle says as she finishes. Josee follows shortly after, and the Fire Girls make their exit. We cut to Chet and Raj.

"Raj?"

"Why is everyone trying to talk to me? I need to focus!" Raj gets snippy, causing Chet to look annoyed.

"Don't snap at me!"

"Sorry…"

"Anyways, why did you vote for MK? In hindsight, you could've tried to stop it!"

"The numbers were against her no matter what I did, Mary got to everyone too quickly." Raj lies. "But can you please not rage at me about it? I at least told you what was happening."

Sammy finishes her puzzle as Chet sighs. "You're let off the hook because you were honest about her going..." he narrows his eyes as we cut to Lightning and Tammy.

"Ugh, this puzzle is so stupid." Lightning complains. "Girl, do you know how to do this?"

Tammy looks over at Lightning with a thoughtful look.

Confessional: Tammy

"If Lightning wins again, I feel like people would turn their attention to Mary instead of me, which would mean that Lightning and I would both be safe. So, I made a choice."

"Here's what you need to do." Tammy gives Lightning directions before running off.

We see Mary looking worried at the rock wall. "I'm not a good climber, but this shouldn't be too hard."

Mary turns around to see Nichelle and Josee having already caught up to her. "Jinkies! How did you get here so fast, I finished before you!"

"We are fast runners." Nichelle taunts as she begins to climb the rock wall. All of a sudden, one of the steps is replaced by a boxing glove that sends Nichelle flying, causing Mary and Josee to gasp as Nichelle falls to the ground. "Ow! What is that even there for?"

"To make it difficult I assume." Mary grimaces as she attempts to climb too. Josee joins. A step Josee is on has a scorpion, causing her to stomp it before losing her balance and falling. Mary fares the same fate as Nichelle did as Sammy joins the trio.

"Gosh, this looks hard." Sammy worries.

"That's what she said!" Staci says as she joins everyone. Everyone looks shocked.

"You finished that puzzle very quickly." Josee comments.

"My great great great uncle Michael invented slide puzzles, it's in my DNA to do well." Staci explains as she attempts to climb. Nothing on the rock wall even sabotages her, she just falls because she's bad. Everyone else begins climbing again, with Nichelle in the lead as Lightning and Tammy join.

"So, everyone but Chet and Raj are here." Sammy notes. This note costs her time, as her step retracts into the wall, causing her to slip, which takes down Mary with her.

Nichelle manages to be a few steps away, with Josee following close behind her. Lightning climbs up quickly and almost immediately catches them. He grabs Josee by the leg and throws her back down. He tries to do the same to Nichelle, but she kicks him in the face, sending him down too. Nichelle runs off to the next station while Josee and Lightning stand face to face on the ground.

"Are you kidding me, jockstrap?" Josee questions in anger. "You pulled me off the damn wall!"

"You were about to get to the top, Lightning wasn't going to let that happen!" Lightning replies. Josee slaps Lightning in the face and tries to climb up, but Lightning grabs her foot again. "You did NOT just slap the Lightning in the face!"

"Let go of my foot, do you have a fetish for it?!" Josee angrily questions.

"Oh hell no, your feet probably have fungus! That's why your ice partner dropped you that one year!" Lightning accuses, causing Josee to gasp.

"You did not just joke about my Olympics loss!"

"Calm down, Josee, he doesn't mean it!" Sammy tries to deescalate the situation.

"I do mean it! It ain't a joke, you're sick!" Lightning laughs. Josee kicks Lightning away and jumps off the wall onto him, causing a fight between the two.

"This is so Nichelle and I coded!" Sammy gasps.

"True!" Tammy says. Since she wants to help Lightning, she goes to pull Josee off, but Josee shoves her. This momentary distraction allows Lightning to get Josee off of him, and he throws her into the wall.

"You're done!" he says while beginning to climb again. Sammy and Tammy are too scared to intervene while Mary is close to the top, so they just decide to continue. Chet and Raj enter the area, now having finally completed their puzzles. As everyone is on the wall, Josee gets up.

"You think throwing me into the wall was going to take me out of this challenge? Think again!" Josee says as she climbs up. Lightning is right above her. As he tries to take a step up, Josee uses this as a chance to punch him in the kiwis, causing Lightning to squeal before falling down.

"That hurt!" he croaks out.

"Yeah, that's why I did it!" Josee smirks. She tries to blow a taunting kiss, but the boxing glove punches her in the face, sending her to the ground as Mary and Sammy are at the top. Chet manages to make it too as Raj and Tammy have squirrels cause them to lose focus and fall. Staci is still struggling to even do slightly well. While Lightning and Josee begin fighting again, Raj has a determined look before making a good climb, getting to the top.

We see Nichelle searching in her stack. "Urgh, I hate this! It is so luck based!" Nichelle yells before throwing hay in annoyance. She looks to where she just threw, but there is no needle. "Damn, I thought the rule of irony would mean I found it right after I complained. Screw you, Sierra, your irony rule is flawed!"

Cut to Loser's Lounge

"You know, I was never a big fan of Nichelle anyways. She is probably my least favorite from her generation." Sierra tells Ellody.

Cut to the challenge

We see Mary and Sammy running in. "I'm surprised Lightning and Josee aren't here before you guys… no offense." Nichelle says.

"They got into a fight." Sammy says.

"That's so us coded!"

"That's what I said!" Sammy laughs, causing Nichelle to join in. Mary looks on in confusion as Chet enters the scene.

"Chet is going to win this!" he announces. The girls don't care. He begins throwing his hay everywhere, a lot of it ending up in Nichelle's area, which she takes umbrage with.

"Chet, stop! You're throwing your hay at me, stop trying to sabotage me." Nichelle leers.

"I'm just trying to be quick, get over it!"

"My hands are hurting because of this hay, don't make me have to go through more!" Nichelle replies.

"Maybe you should cry about it." Chet suggests. "Slowing you down in the challenge is smart sabotaging anyways, you're in 1st!"

Sammy and Mary exchange a glance at the argument as Nichelle screams for five seconds! "I hate this so much! This is literally luck, this is impossible!"

Raj runs in. "I'm here guys!" he says with enthusiasm as he looks in the hay. He pulls out a needle after five seconds. "Wow, what do you know? See you all later!"

Nichelle screams again as Mary has a worried look while Raj shows his needle to the scanner.

…

Lightning is pulling at Josee's hair. "Let go!"

"You let go!" Josee growls in response. Lightning uses his bigger body to overpower her, shoving her to the floor. Josee tries to get back up and run at Lightning, but Lightning uses his hand to hold her back by the face.

"Give it up!" he says. Josee kicks him in the kiwis this time, causing another high-pitched sound of pain. "Not again!"

"Stay down." Josee says coldly. As she turns around, Staci falls off the wall, crushing Josee. Tammy makes it up as this happens, leaving just those three having not completed the rock wall.

…

"This is kind of relaxing." Sammy admits.

"Speak for yourself." Chet says.

"I was."

"Oh." Chet says as he throws more hay around.

"Chet, I swear to god… again?! What are you doing?!"

"Got it!" Mary says, causing Chet, Nichelle, and Sammy to look deflated as Tammy enters the area. Mary pulls out Wayne's hat as she treks to the final area. Due to cartoon logic, it casually fit into her pocket beforehand.

…

"You big cow, why did you land on me?!" Josee asks Staci in anger as the trio on the ground get up.

"It was an accident, duh! Stop being stupid, no wonder you needed multiple tries to win the Olympics! I heard that when the local orphanage burned down, my city's mayor wanted to bring you in as the replacement, since you cry as much as babies do!" Staci says.

"And I heard that when God said let there be light, he had to ask you to move out of the way!" Josee retorts, causing Staci to gasp.

Lightning finally gets up from earlier. "Alright, one more attempt!" he weakly says. Josee just kicks him in the kiwis again, causing him to cry and fall down. "You're so mean, what if I want kids one day?!"

"I don't care! That family visit reward should've been mine! I should've been the one to have my mom care about me for something other than winning, not you and your dad!" Josee says with venom as she goes to climb again. Staci pulls her off the rock wall. "What was that for?!"

"Fun!"

…

We see Raj in first place, looking around at the pitfall of traps around him on the steep hike. "Why is there a pool of lava here?! Can't there be ice instead? A big chunk of hail hits Raj in the head. "Ow! Oh hail no!"

Raj laughs at his own horrible joke as Mary is walking behind him, though not close or fast enough to pose a threat to passing him. "This is so tiring… stupid Lightning." Mary complains about his words causing them to carry heavy bags. A burst of fire appears right in front of Mary, causing her to gasp in shock.

"What the hell?" she asks. She sees Raj getting closer and closer to the button. "Raj? Is there any chance you can let me win this one? I know my name is on the chopping block."

Raj gives her an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, I don't want to do that. What if I give it up and go home? I would never forgive myself for making that mistake so close to the end." he says. Mary narrows her eyes as he's even closer.

Confessional: Mary

"Well, it's time for the last resort. I do not want to use my idol already."

"Raj, give me the immunity." Mary says with a firmer tone.

"I already said no!"

"You may want to look!" Mary shouts. Raj turns around to see Mary holding Wayne's hat above the pool of lava, causing him to gasp.

"Mary?! What are you doing? That's Wayne's hat, how did you even get it?" Raj questions with a panicked tone.

"I need this immunity, and you know it. Give it to me, or I'm burning the hat." Mary says. Raj walks closer to her with hesitation.

"Wait wait wait, calm down here! Mary, that's neither of our property, you shouldn't just burn it!" Raj says. "And did you just steal that from me?!"

"I apologize for this, it isn't personal. I have no idols or advantages, and I know that I'm going home if I don't win." Mary says.

"It is personal, you're threatening to burn a personal item! Give that back!" Raj says, narrowly avoiding a boulder that rolls down the hill, as it nearly got him while he was distracted.

"Come down here and take it." Mary says calmly.

"Mary, stop!" Raj yells with an angry tone. "This is ridiculous!"

Another boulder rolls down, this time it hits Raj, sending him downwards. Once he rolls past Mary, Mary throws the hat down the hill, away from lava, as Raj is on the floor. She runs past the chaos and manages to hit the button, securing her safety.

"And Mary has won immunity!" Chris announces. Raj goes to scramble over to the hat, but he sees it in Nichelle's hands, who just witnessed the entire thing.

"What the…" she says in shock while handing it back to Raj.

Confessional: Mary

"I've made it to the final 8! I'm glad that this scenario happened with Raj and not Chet, as I feel Raj will be more forgiving. I don't know if I would've really burned them or not, but hats and necklaces are replaceable."

"What did I just see? Did she flat out just steal their things? Raj mentioned that hat in our conversation yesterday!"

Raj has a furious look on his face. "Did that bitch really do that- and no mom, I won't apologize for cussing! She stole Wayne's hat, and she must've been behind Chet's necklace going missing too! I could've just taken immunity, but that hat represents so much, Wayne would be so mad if it burned. I was trying to take it back from Mary, then still get the immunity, but that stupid boulder got in the way!" Raj seethes. "I won't forgive her for this."

Lightning is groaning in pain from the earlier fight. "She is going to pay!"

"Mary won immunity?! This is horrible! Now Lightning will 100% know I'm after him- not that he wouldn't have known anyways, we got into a major fight because of him! Ugh, Sammy was so right about me." Josee stomps her foot in frustration. "Now I have to do something, because he might just play the idol to guarantee I go home!"

Cut to camp

Everyone walks back into camp. Josee and Lightning look beat up, Staci, Tammy, Chet, and Sammy look fine, Mary looks happy, while Nichelle and Raj look annoyed. "Mary, why did you steal from my bag?" Raj asks right away, causing everyone to turn their attention to her.

"Huh?" Tammy asks.

"What are you talking about?" Sammy adds.

"After I got my needle, I saw Mary holding Wayne's hat and threatening to throw it into the fire if Raj didn't give her immunity." Nichelle states.

"And I never gave her the hat, she stole from me just to do that!" Raj adds. Everyone looks baffled, and before Mary can say anything, Chet speaks up.

"My necklace was missing too! There is a correlation, Mary, did you steal my necklace?" Chet demands angrily.

"Erm…" Mary trails off awkwardly. She pulls it out. "Here!"

Chet looks insulted as he takes it back. "Are you kidding me? You would've threatened to burn that if I was the one who almost won immunity, wouldn't you?"

"I just needed the immunity because all of you were targeting me. It's not personal, it's just a game!" Mary defends herself.

"You're the one who made it personal! We had an exchange because you were talking about bonding with me after you brought up your dead sister!" Chet yells, causing Staci's eyes to widen in shock. "Then I asked for it back, then you stole it again! And not just my necklace, but Raj's item too!"

Confessional: Staci

"The dead sister? Is this the same tactic that she used with Sky?"

"You used your dead sister to gain people's trust?" Sammy asks. "That's… a strategy to say the least!"

"A dirty one, but it's not a shock considering who we're dealing with." Tammy crosses her arms.

"I was honestly respecting the strategy of threatening to burn items, but the sister is extra." Josee rolls her eyes. "Imagine needing a dead person to help you win, do it on your own!"

"I don't have a real opinion on this, but I hate Mary because she idoled out Cody!" Lightning adds. Mary walks away as everyone gives her annoyed looks. Chet continues to argue with Mary as Josee whispers something to Sammy. Sammy gives a thumbs up before Mary walks away in frustration at the constant yelling thrown her way.

"I may have made people even more upset… but I don't understand why! No one is screaming at Lightning for pulling Josee off the wall, why is what I did any different? We're both just trying to win. I'll just wait for this to hopefully blow over, Nichelle got 9 votes before and now she's not even a target."

"How dare she mention that sister in the challenge earlier! She is so done if she doesn't have immunity, I swear…"

We see the Water Team and Tammy all gathered together. "I know we've gotten along… not at all." Lightning says awkwardly to his former teammates. "But I think we need Josee gone! She is a psychopath! Sammy, I know she took you on the reward, but think about it!"

"I think out every option possible, don't worry." Sammy gives a thumbs up. "She could've won immunity if you didn't pull her off."

"Exactly, and she won the reward today. It's best to send her home now while we still can." Tammy states. After some goodbyes, Tammy and Lightning leave.

"Lightning could've easily won too, he was scaling that wall so fast before he and Josee got into a fight." Sammy says with worry.

"I know, and I'm mad at him for voting out MK after we have been allies since the beginning of phase 3!"

"He had a point, you betrayed him first at the Sugar vote."

"And it saved your bestie, so what?" Chet snaps. Sammy gives a frustrated sigh.

"Whatever. Do we want Lightning gone, or Josee? I would lean towards Lightning, he has clearly been the best in the challenges. Josee may have taken me on the reward, but she can easily go next, one reward won't buy my trust." Sammy replies while obscuring her deal with Josee.

"She isn't going next, Mary is." Chet says with fire in his eyes.

"Right. Either or." Sammy says before she and Chet high five, clearly having a plan set.

"Of course I want Lightning gone over Josee, he's annoying, and…" Sammy whispers the next part. "Better than Josee in challenges."

"I can't vote out Mary, but Lightning is a good backup."

"Alright, they're on board!" Lightning smiles at Tammy. Tammy sighs.

"Lightning."

"Sha-what?"

"They were clearly lying. You need to use the idol."

"WHAT?!" Lightning gasps in shock. He falls to the ground while clutching his chest as Tammy facepalms.

"No need to be so dramatic, I can tell they want you gone. I feel like most of the others are going to vote for you. We just need you to play it, and for us to put our votes on one of the Fire Girls to make sure they're gone!" Tammy makes a plan.

"One of the Fire Girls? You mean Josee, duh!" Lightning throws his hands in the air.

"Uh… yeah! You knew what I meant." Tammy nods. "I hope this works."

"Same." Lightning has an icy stare.

Confessional: Tammy

"I've thought of Josee as stiff competition for a while, I hope we can finally eliminate her."

"She has been slipping through my fingers for way too long." Lightning gives a devious look at his hands like he's about to kill someone. "She has got to go."

"You should've just let his hat burn." Josee disapproves to Raj as those two and Nichelle are gathered. "You could've taken gold in the challenge."

"I wasn't going to let my best friend's personal item get destroyed, I'm a good friend! And I tried to take the immunity and the hat, but a boulder hit me!" Raj explains with annoyance at Josee's disapproval.

"I'm not well versed in the art of being a good friend, sorry about that." Josee says to the surprise of no one. "The target is Lightning, he needs to go."

"We haven't really talked since Cody left, and he is scary." Raj taps his chin. "I'm on board. I just feel really stressed out and sad after today, I should've looked after my things more."

"It's fine, as long as we all stay. No way any of them will want to keep Lightning around." Nichelle assures. Raj nods before walking off.

We see Mary sitting alone. No one has tried to talk to her until Staci walks up. "Hi, my thief ally!" Staci jokes as she walks up to the genius.

"I assume people don't want to clue me in on stuff. Who is the vote for?"

"Lightning."

"That's fine." Mary shrugs.

"Can I ask what was up with your dead sister? They kept mentioning it, and-"

"I would rather not discuss her right now." Mary cuts her off. Staci nods and walks off to find Chet.

"Okay, so there is a bit of a wrench in the 'voting for Lightning' plan. Lightning has the idol." Josee puts her hands on her hips in annoyance, causing Nichelle to gasp.

"What?! Girlie, why didn't you say anything before?" Nichelle asks. "He could idol you out!"

"Not if we put a few votes elsewhere." Josee taps her foot. Nichelle slowly nods as a smile grows. "Let me handle the rest."

"Ooh, smart."

We see a quick scene of Josee whispering something to Sammy. Sammy has a slightly conflicted look, but she quickly nods before giving a thumbs up.

"I need it to not be me. I'm including Sammy on this to hopefully solidify us for good."

We see Chet, who is alone. Say it with me- he isn't alone for long- as Staci joins him. "Hey Gordan- Chet!" she greets. Chet slowly turns around.

"Hi… I may have been a bit harsh on you the past few days, at least you aren't as bad as Mary!" Chet exclaims.

"Haha, of course I'm not! Mary is a nerd!" Staci laughs before a serious look grows on her face. "What was up with you mentioning her dead sister though. I need to know, haha!"

Chet looks angry at the thought. "We talked about our items, then she pulled out her bracelet and talked about her sister to get our trust."

"Her bracelet?"

"She and her sister had matching bracelets, that's where she got them. Anyways, I-"

"Uh… she told me she got that bracelet at the dollar store because it looked nice." Staci says with a confused look. Chet looks baffled before a producer speaks up.

"It's time for the elimination."

"She was clearly lying about it to them…"

Cut to campfire ceremony

We see Millie, Cody, Shawn, and MK on the jury. MK is glaring at Mary, unhappy to see her with the immunity necklace. Cody looks worried to see Lightning without it, while Millie is happy. Shawn looks on without emotion, trying to study the body language of everyone.

"Welcome final 9! You've all made it 90 days into the game, there are only ten more to go. One of you won't even see the next one though, it's time for you all to get voting and see who is taking ninth place." Chris gestures to the voting booth.

We get a quick cut of everyone voting before cutting back to the campfire

"If anyone has a hidden immunity idol and wants to play it, now would be the time to do so."

"I sha-do!" Lightning stands up. Chet looks nervous as Mary sighs.

"NOOOOOOO!" Millie shouts in despair. Everyone awkwardly turns over to her.

"Millie, stop talking. Jurors are meant to be silent." Chris reprimands.

"Yeah, Millie." Shawn shades her.

"You shut up too. Anyways, Lightning, do you have an idol for me?" Chris asks. Lightning handing him an idol is all the answer he needs. "This is a hidden immunity idol. Any votes cast for Lightning will not count. Once the votes are read, the decision is final, the person voted out must leave immediately. I'll read the votes."

"1st vote… Lightning. Does not count."

Lightning smiles.

"2nd vote… Lightning. Does not count."

Mary and Staci exchange a look at their votes being nullified.

"3rd vote… Lightning. Does not count."

Lightning crosses his arms in Chet's direction, causing Chet to look away in worry.

"4th vote… Lightning. Does not count."

The Fire Girls exchange a look as Raj gulps at his vote being nullified.

"5th vote… Josee."

Josee growls.

"6th vote… Josee."

Josee takes a deep breath.

"7th vote… Tammy."

Tammy's eyes widen.

"8th vote… Tammy. That's 2 votes Tammy, 2 votes Josee, 1 vote left…"

Tammy looks scared, Josee looks confident, and most of the cast looks confused.

"92nd person voted out of Total Drama Ultimate and the 5th member of our jury…"

Tammy's jaw is on the floor from shock, while Lightning doesn't look much different.

"Didn't expect that." Chet says, causing Lightning to glare at him.

"What was the point of that deal then?" he questions. Chet sighs and doesn't have a response.

"Who even voted for Tammy?" Mary questions with an annoyed look, clearly not happy with this elimination.

Josee raises her hand. "Should've been more discreet about that idol. I had to make a backup plan."

"Sorry, Tammy." Sammy apologizes, causing Raj to raise an eyebrow at this reveal.

"I didn't expect this to happen." Tammy finally is able to speak, though her words are weak with a sad tone. "I thought Josee was being idoled out tonight."

"That's awkward." MK whispers on the jury bench.

"At least Lightning's #1 is gone." Millie whispers back.

"Stop slandering him." Cody shakes his head.

Tammy stands up. "I'm disappointed about how tonight played out, but I have to say, I feel like I grew a lot from this show. I came on here with no one even remembering who I was and still believing in magic, and I left having more understanding of myself and proving that I can do well in these types of games. Though I feel unhappy with a few things and have trust issues, it's still better than what I was, and I can improve more of myself when this is done." Tammy frowns before looking at Lightning. "I'll meet you either when you're eliminated or at the finale, I'll take your exercise and diet plan."

"It'd be the Lightning's pleasure! He should start a training camp!" Lightning flexes, causing Josee to gag.

"Best of luck, Lightning." Tammy waves before walking off. Lightning glares at Josee, who gives a smug smirk in response as we see Tammy board the boat of losers. We cut back to the campfire, where Chris gives the final 8 a stern look.

"I have an announcement to make. By the end of Day 92, only six of you will remain." he informs, causing everyone to gasp.

"Six? There is a double next time?" Staci questions.

"Yup! There will be an automatic elimination challenge, followed by a vote later that day." Chris informs. "Whoever gets first in that automatic elimination challenge will have immunity for the vote. Just want to give you all a heads up, the next two days will be some of the most intense of the game."

Confessional: Nichelle

"An automatic elimination? I like the sound of that, no way I will come in last."

"This is a disaster! I had no idea that Lightning had an idol or that Tammy was getting votes, I'm completely out of the loop, and I have a growing list of enemies. I am somewhat pleased about there being a purge challenge though, I only need to beat one person to make it a round further."

"Tammy was actually solid like I said. Not to the level of Cody, but she was the best option left. This elimination doesn't sit right with the Lightning. Other than Raj, she was the only person I could tolerate, and I know he voted for me tonight, so he joined my shit list" Lightning exclaims. "I'm tired of Chet and I constantly betraying each other, and I'm sick of Josee slipping through my fingers!"

"The plan worked thankfully despite me almost leaving, I'm such a vote magnet." Josee comments on now having 26 votes. "Tammy was one of my biggest enemies, I had to get rid of her. Once the Mary and Chet issue resolves itself, I should have smooth sailing to the end."

"Voting for Tammy after we worked together in phase 2? Yeah, that hurt. But she moved on from me and made it clear, so I did the same. I wasn't voting for the Fire Girls or Raj by association. Mary has immunity. Chet is going to continue to cause drama with Mary and he annoys Lightning more, which will keep me safe. There is no reason to vote out Staci with all these other threats. That left Tammy as the only option."

"Why didn't the Fire Girls tell me that they were putting votes onto Tammy? They included Sammy, but not me." Raj ponders. "I would've been willing to do it. While Mary is still my biggest target after the stunt she pulled, I need to get to the bottom of this ASAP."

"Mary better hope she wins immunity again or gets a lucky break. I will make sure she doesn't win that automatic elimination, I need to end that thief! Operation: Kill Mary begins! I already have plenty of reasons to target her, I don't know how it could get worse for her." Chet chuckles.

"If Mary is still using the dead sister lie… I think I'm going to have to tell everyone what I heard her and her sister talking about."

We cut to Chris alone at the campfire ceremony. "8 remain, but soon a fourth of them will be gone! Who will those two be? Only one way to find out, and that's by tuning into the next episode of Total Drama Ultimate!"

Episode 46 is done! I'm sorry if there is a glaring mistake or continuity error, I have issues with the making of this chapter oopsies

Tammy- This is probably a shocker considering people either had her as a finalist prediction, or at least didn't expect her to go so soon. As is evident, she was a finalist in a few drafts of the elimination order. Why did this change? I just lost faith in her, plain and simple. A few of my problems with how I portrayed her: I rushed to her realization about the magic. I feel like she should've only come to her senses either around the Julia boot or right after is when the realization really hits her. I could've swapped Leonard's boot with one of the Tennis Rivals too. Second off... she didn't really have a definable personality post magic reveal, which made it to where she was well liked enough, but not really popular with many readers. I thought of her backstory and voting out Julia, which was well received, but I didn't think about what would happen after, which I regret. She was a complete nothingburger personality in phase 2, and I was quickly realizing that putting her in the finale could change. I was holding onto her for way too long because I thought it'd be funny if she of all people was a finalist, but it wasn't meant to be. Her paranoia arc had some detractors, but it did make her easier to write to the point she almost got jumped up a few ranks, but at best she would be 6th, so I'm fine cutting her now. I know at least one person will probably be annoyed, but I didn't enjoy writing for her anymore, so sorry about that.

Personal disappointment in myself aside... I am still happy that she made it this far. This is probably the most prominent she will ever be in fanfic and seeing her go from the common answer to least favorite to multiple reviewers being like "wow, Tammy isn't bad?!" is a nice personal accomplishment. She gained respect from her fellow players and got some apologies on her way out the door, so that's good for her! (I was going to make her ending darker LOL)
