Purvi, however, seemed lost in thought, her eyes staring blankly into space.

Abhi: A..ab tum bhi mujhe asylum bh...bhej dogi na?

Abhi:- wo um.. agar tum aaj chhuti lena chahti ho toh le skti ho main acp sir se baat karlunga.

Abhi: Uncle aap meri pookie ko kyun daant rahe ho? Koi jeet ke friends ko daante toh usko padand nahi.

Abhi:- Chhodo mujhe, I said leave me.!

Her eyes staring blankly at the files in front of her.

Purvi's gaze drifted around the room, her colleagues oblivious to her distress.

She knew she had to snap out of it, focus on her work. But her mind refused to cooperate.

Just then, Purvi stood up, her chair scraping against the floor.

Purvi :- Acp sir??

Acp:- Bolo Purvi??

Purvi:- Actually sir wo tabiyat kuch thek nhi lag rahi kya main ghar jaa sakti hun?

Acp:- Thek hai jaao. Take care.

Purvi nodded, gathering her belongings quickly. She stuffed her phone and wallet into her bag, her eyes scanning the room one last time before she made a hasty exit.

As she stepped out of the Bureau, Purvi felt a sense of relief wash over her. She took a deep breath, the cool air filling her lungs, and made her way to her scooty.

The traffic was chaotic, cars honking and people shouting as Purvi navigated through the crowded streets.

She was stuck in a jam, her scooty inching forward at a snail's pace.

Just as she was starting to get frustrated, Purvi's eyes landed on an ambulance in front of her. Her heart skipped a beat as she realized it was the same ambulance that had taken Abhi away.

Without thinking, Purvi started following the ambulance, her scooty weaving in and out of the traffic.

She kept a safe distance, her eyes fixed on the ambulance as it turned into a small lane.

Purvi's heart was racing now, her mind filled with questions. Where were they taking Abhi? Was he okay?

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the city, Purvi continued to follow the ambulance. She didn't know where they were going, but she was determined to find out.

The ambulance turned onto a deserted road, the buildings becoming increasingly run-down.

After what felt like an eternity, the ambulance finally stopped in front of an abandoned building.

Purvi stopped her scooty at a safe distance, her eyes scanning the area to make sure she wasn't seen.

When she returned her heart skipped a beat as she realized the ambulance was empty.

Hiding behind the bushes, Purvi made her way towards the abandoned building. She pushed open the creaky door and slipped inside, her eyes adjusting to the darkness.

Where was Abhi? And why had they brought him here? Purvi's mind was racing with questions as she moved deeper into the building, determined to find out what was going on.

As Purvi moved deeper into the building, she heard the sound of footsteps echoing through the hallway.

She quickly hid behind a nearby pillar, holding her breath as two men walked by, their voices hushed in conversation.

Once they were out of sight, Purvi began to search for Abhi. She crept down the hallway, her eyes scanning the doors for any sign of him.

Just as she was starting to lose hope, she saw Doctor Ritik walking towards her, accompanied by a tall, imposing man.

Purvi quickly hid again, watching as they approached a door at the far end of the hallway.

Doctor Ritik pushed open the door and stepped inside, the other man following close behind.

Purvi's eyes narrowed as she realized they must have come from the room where Abhi was being held.

As soon as they left the building, Purvi made her move. She crept towards the door, trying the handle only to find it locked.

Undeterred, Purvi pulled out a hairpin from her hair and began to work on the lock.

After a few moments of fiddling, the lock clicked open, and Purvi pushed open the door.

Her eyes adjusted to the dim light, and she saw Abhi lying on floor, his eyes half-closed. Purvi's heart skipped a beat as she rushed towards him, her hands trembling with fear.

Purvi:- Ab.. Abhijeet sir?? Uthiye sir.

She whispered, patting his cheeks gently.

Abhi's eyes flickered open, and he gazed up at Purvi, his expression confused. Purvi's eyes welled up with tears as she saw the faintest glimmer of recognition in his eyes.

Purvi frantically searched the room, her eyes scanning every inch for something, anything, to help Abhi.

That's when she spotted a small pot in the corner, partially filled with water.

She rushed towards it, grabbing the pot and hurrying back to Abhi's side. She gently sprinkled water on his face, hoping to revive him.

As the water droplets hit his skin, Abhi's eyes flickered open, and he took a deep breath.

He looked around, disoriented, before focusing on Purvi.

Abhi:- Tu..Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho? Aur Hum kahan hain?

Purvi: - Ek abandoned building main hain hum sir.

Abhi's gaze narrowed, confusion etched on his face.

Abhi:- kyun?

Purvi:- Doctor Ritik aapko yahan laaye hain.

she said, watching as Abhi's eyes widened in shock.

Abhi's face scrunched up in concentration, trying to remember what had happened. But Purvi quickly interrupted him.

Purvi:- Kab kahan kaise abhi yeh sab sochne ka waqt nahi hai sir, chaliye hum yahan se nikalte hain.

she urged, trying to help him sit up.

Abhi nodded slowly, still looking dazed. Purvi quickly scanned the room, making sure they were alone, before helping Abhi to his feet.

Purvi led Abhi out of the room, her eyes scanning the hallway to make sure they were alone.

Purvi:- Aap yahin rukiye, main aati hoon.

Sh whispered, leaving Abhi leaning against the wall.

She crept to the window and peeked out, her heart sinking as she saw two men standing guard outside.

She knew she had to come up with a plan to distract them.

Purvi quickly scanned her surroundings, her eyes landing on a few loose stones on the ground.

She picked one up and threw it in the opposite direction, watching as the guards immediately gave chase.

Seizing the opportunity, Purvi grabbed Abhi's hand and pulled him out of the building. He stumbled, still feeling the effects of the injection, but Purvi held him upright, her grip firm.

They made their way to Purvi's scooty, parked a short distance away. Purvi quickly sat down, gesturing for Abhi to sit behind her.

As they sped away from the building, Purvi's eyes were fixed on the road ahead, her gaze darting back to the rearview mirror every few seconds to make sure they weren't being followed.

But Abhi's eyes were fixed on Purvi, his gaze drinking in the sight of her.

Her hair flew back in the wind, strands falling across his face, but he didn't brush them away.

He was lost in the sight of her, his mind still foggy from the injection, but his heart clear.

As they sped through the streets, Abhi's eyes never left Purvi's face, his expression soft, his heart full.

As they reached Purvi's house, the night sky was already a deep shade of indigo, the stars twinkling like diamonds.

Purvi parked her scooty and led Abhi inside, flipping on the lights to illuminate the cozy living room.

She guided Abhi to the couch, helping him sit down before heading to the kitchen to fetch water for both of them. As she handed Abhi a glass, he looked up at her with a piercing gaze.

Abhi:- Kya chahati ho tum mujhse??

Purvi:- Kya??

Abhi:- maine pucha kya chahiye tumhe mujhse??

Purvi's cheeks flushed as she fumbled for an answer.

Purvi:- M..main kya chahungi aapse? Kuch nahi chahiye.

Abhi:- toh kyu kar rahi ho meri help?? Kyun bacha rahi ho mujhe?

Purvi's heart skipped a beat as she hesitated, torn between revealing her true feelings and maintaining a safe distance.

Purvi:- Kyunki main aapse.

Abhi:- Tum mujhse kya?

Purvi:- M..ma..main aapse nahi main aapki bahut respect karti hun, Aur mujhe lagta hai aap sahi hain isiliye aapka saath de rahi hun. Aur koi baat nahi hai.

Abhi's gaze lingered on hers, his eyes searching for something more.

But Purvi's expression remained neutral, her emotions locked away.

Abhi nodded slowly, seemingly accepting her answer, but his eyes told a different story – one of doubt and uncertainty.

Abhi's gaze drifted around the room, taking in the cozy decor.

Abhi: waise hum yahan kyun hain?

He asked, his eyes returning to Purvi.

Purvi:- Sir unn logo ko abhi tak malum ho chuka hoga ki aap bhaag gaye hain, aapko dhundhne wo aapke ghar zaroor jayenge.

Abhi nodded thoughtfully, his eyes never leaving Purvi's face.

Abhi:- Tumhe dekh kar laga nahi tha ki tum itni samjhdaar hogi lekin tum ho.

Purvi's smile faltered, then reappeared, only to disappear again.

She looked confused, unsure whether Abhi was praising her or insulting her.

Abhi's eyes crinkled at the corners as he chuckled, clearly entertained by Purvi's reaction.

Purvi's eyes snapped back to Abhi's, her earlier confusion forgotten. She stared at him, feeling a flutter in her chest.

The way he smiled, the way his eyes sparkled, made her heart skip a beat.

For a moment, they just looked at each other, the air between them charged with a newfound awareness.

On the other side, three men stood with their heads bowed, their eyes fixed on the ground.

Doctor Ritik threw the ropes that had bound Abhi onto the floor, his face twisted in anger.

Ritik:- Kaise bhaag gaya wo firse??

Ritik thundered, his voice echoing off the walls.

Man:- Maloom nahi doctor hum darwaze par hi the.

Ritik: Jaao Uske Ghar jaakr dhoondho use aur lekar aao.

He barked at the men, who quickly scattered to obey his orders.

Meanwhile, back at Purvi's house . She opened the door to a cozy room, flipping on the light switch to illuminate the space.

Purvi:- Sir aap yahan reh sakte hain. Lekin thoda dhayan se actually hamara sara purana furniture humne yahan lagva diya tha. Furniture kaafi purana hai isiliye thoda sambhal kar.

Abhi nodded, his eyes scanning the room.

Abhi:- It's okay, I'll manage.

Purvi:- Sir main keh rahi thi ki mere mom dad kabhi kabhi toh aate hain pune se, Aap mere room main so jaiye main mom dad ke room main so jaungi.

Abhi:- Koi baat nahi, I'm okay here.

Purvi nodded, though she still looked unsure. Abhi made his way to the bed, his movements slow and unsteady.

As he reached the bed, he swayed slightly, his eyes closing as a wave of dizziness washed over him.

Purvi rushed to his side, concern etched on her face.

Purvi:- Sir kya hua?

Abhi opened his eyes, taking a deep breath.

Abhi:- Kuch nahi bas abhi bhi thoda chakkar aaraha hai.

Purvi:- Sir ek baar doctor ke pas chalte hain.

Abhi shook his head.

Abhi:- Nahi purvi, Kuch der so jaunga toh thek ho jayega.

Purvi nodded, a soft smile on her face.

Purvi:- Okay, good night. Take rest.

Abhi felt another wave of dizziness wash over him, and he stumbled, about to fall. Purvi rushed to his side, wrapping her arms around his waist to hold him upright.

But it was too late. They both tumbled onto the bed, landing with a loud thud.

Purvi found herself on top of Abhi, their bodies tangled together.

As they fell, the old bed creaked and groaned under their weight, and then, with a loud crack, it broke, sending them both crashing to the floor.

Purvi and Abhi were shocked, staring at each other in surprise.

For a moment, they just lay there, frozen.

Abhi slowly spoke up

Abhi:- waise tum sahi keh rahi thi, Furniture wakayi kaafi purana hai.

Abhi's eyes locked onto Purvi's, and he cleared his throat.

Abhi:- Umm.. kya tum mere upar se hatogi please ??

Purvi realized she was still on top of him and instantly scrambled to her feet.

Abhi also sat up, rubbing the back of his neck, looking awkward.

Purvi turned her face away, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

Abhi, too, looked away, his eyes scanning the floor.

But then, Purvi's gaze drifted back to Abhi, and their eyes met.

She burst out laughing, and Abhi joined in, their laughter filling the room.

As their laughter subsided, Purvi's gaze lingered on Abhi's face.

She stopped laughing, her eyes locked onto his, and Her heart skipped a beat.

Purvi, trying to erase the awkward moment, said.

Purvi:- Main keh rahi thi sir, mere room main hi so jaiye.

Abhi:-Yeah, Sun leni chahiye thi tumhari.

Purvi's face flushed, and she instantly turned around, saying.

Purvi:- Aajaiye main aapko apna room dikha deti hun.

But instead of waiting for Abhi to follow, she quickly ran out of the room, leaving Abhi looking after her with a smile.

Abhi shook his head, a soft chuckle escaping his lips.

He got up, brushing off his clothes, and followed Purvi out of the room, his eyes fixed on the path she had taken.

As he walked, he couldn't help but smile to himself, feeling a sense of warmth and comfort in Purvi's presence.
