After Anakin recovered, he met Tex in the waiting room. "She survived childbirth. Guess those visions were a fluke. 'Tex said. "I don't understand. Palpatine said his master Darth Plagueis knew how to keep the ones he loved from dying. "Anakin said. "You didn't need it. She didn't need saving in the end. "Tex replied. "The visions were of her screaming in pain and some guy in a black suit and mask. "Anakin explained. "Sound like this Palpatine tried to sell you snake oil. 'Tex said. 'What kind of fuel is that? 'Anakin asked. "Its not fuel. It's a con, a lie, or a scam. "Tex warned "He was trying to get you to do something stupid he would benefit from. "Just how did he know about your nightmares? "Tex asked. "I never told him until he asked about it. "Anakin replied. "Maybe he was causing the nightmares. "Tex said. "Palpatine is a Sith. An enemy of the jedi yet he doesn't seem very evil. "Anakin explained. 'Appearances can be deceiving. Who is he? "Tex asked. "He is the supreme chancellor of the Galactic Republic. "Anakin explained. "What does your wife do is this republic? "Tex asked. "She is the senator for Naboo her home planet. "Anakin answered. "She opposes him in the senate. "Anakin continued. "Looks like he sees a chance to wipe out his biggest threat by making you go crazy thinking she is going to die in childbirth. Do you really think the same guy that opposes her wants to save her? "The Greeks couldn't breech the walls of Troy, so they made a big wooden horse and hid inside it. When the Trojans took it inside the walls of Troy the Greeks waited until nightfall and came out of it and took the city. "Tex Explained. 'Sounds like the power to keep people from dying. Padme was still in bed after finishing nursing the twins. "Angel I am sorry. "Anakin said. "Sorry for what? "Padme asks. "I nearly fell for something Palpatine said. After losing my mother I didn't want to lose you. Palpatine said if I joined him, we could learn the power to keep people from dying. He is a Sith Lord. "Anakin said. "Anakin how could you? You didn't even ask me if you should become a Sith. You were acting selfish. "Padme said. "I don't know what came over me. "Anakin replied. "Maybe the midi chlorian things in him were excited by fear. "Dr Rather said. "I didn't know any better until Tex explained some things to me. It was because of the nightmares. "Anakin replied. "Tex explained the trojan horse to Padme. "You nearly fell for a lie! "Padme growled. "The jedi wouldn't help. They wouldn't even grant me the rank of master after Palpatine made me his personal representative on the council. "Anakin replied. "Sounds like he did that to get you to hate the jedi. "Tex said. "Think about it. Palpatine knew they would deny you one thing or the other and that would make you angry. "Padme explained. "Palpatine is not trying to end the war. The senate has given him some much emergency power that he can do almost anything without their approval. My friends and I created the group of 2000 to get him to give his powers back, yet he makes excuses not to. "Padme groaned. "Are there aliens in your galaxy? I mean non-human species. Dr Rather turned to the flatscreen tv and brought up World War ii footage of Adolf Hitler and the Nazis. Anakin and Padme saw a man with a funny mustache speaking. They saw London being bombed, nazi troops fighting in Russia and France. Then they saw the concentration camps when they were liberated with starving prisoners around allied troops and death bodies in the furnaces. "Why were those people treating so badly? "Anakin asked. "That is what he called the final solution also known as the holocaust. "Dr Rather said. "Those were the lucky ones. Most of the Jews and other undesirables were sent to those camps, gassed and cremated. Millions were killed. "Dr Rather continued. "Palpatine is becoming like that. "Padme warned. "I didn't know. I am sorry angel. "Anakin said. 'It's alright Ani it's over now. We need to focus on defeating Palpatine. "Padme replied.
The jedi council met in their chamber atop the jedi temple. They grouped together and started meditating. Time flew by as day and night changed rapidly. Then they came apart. 'On Earth, Anakin and Padme are. "Yoda said. "We can't reach them not with hyperdrive. "Kitt Fisto replied. "Possible it is. Need several hyperdrives from republic venators to build into a hyperdrive ring to transport a shuttle to Earth. "Yoda explained. The jedi collected eight hyperdrives from a junkyard and started building a large hyperdrive ring in orbit near where the rings for their starfighters were kept. "Who will go to earth? "Mace Windu asked. "Obi-wan and I will go. 'Yoda replied. "We will take the droids R2-D2 and C3P0 with us. "Obi-Wan. "I will deal with Palpatine after you leave and have the temple locked. 'Mace replied.
