All right everyone here's the third part of the games and a special part in the competition for main character
(Day time) the arena
The winning four contestants along with cal and baron were presented announcer said"ladies and gentlemen allow me to introduce to you this years semi finalists heres doom" the crow cheered. Anouncer said "glock,naridah and last but not least birdie" the crowd had cheered. "Now I know what you're all thinking why hasn't baron and arboris made to the semifinals well here's why our secret challenge in the fifth match is to see who is the most skilled warrior this challenge will commence after we've crowned a finalist" anouncer said.
Barda and lief sat in the the bleachers barda said "I still can't believe that out of the four of us she and he are the ones out there".
(Flashback) room
Jasmine said "the problem is I kind of won" the surprised them except for cal both said huh "your telling me tgat you heat orwen" lief said "but you wanted to lose" barda added. Jasmine said "after liefs match orwen was so angry that he attacked glock he was disqualified so i won by default which means I guess I gotta continue fighting in these dumb games ". Cal said "hey there's nothing wrong with that at least you are all ready to fight doom".
(flashback) end
Barda said "so you and I lost our matches even though we fought as hard as we could and she wanted to lose her match on purpose but ended up winning it by default i'd say that's pretty ironic". Lief said "ya but i'm worried about her and Cal this means that now she either going to be against naridah whos really fast or doom whom even you couldn't beat or that monster of a man glock".
Lief continued "not to mention we don't know about cals battle with baron or the rules of that part". Barda said "instead of worrying about who's gonna win let's just hope they don't seriously hurt themselves" lief said "true". Then a boy showed up walking and carrying a tray full of four cups he's pure white skinned,purple hair and eyes, dark purple clothes long sleeved with brown wrist bands. He also had a cloak with white and yellow mixed what made him stand out was when you looked at his face. He didn't have a nose, but does.
Boy said "would you like to have some energizing queen bee nectar before the match" walked to doom "thanks kid" he replied to the boy and drank from one of the cups. Glock looked at the boy said "hey what's wrong with you? Why are you serving that loser first" then he walked over to him and grabbed some nectar he chugged it down.
Glock said "everybody knows that I'm gonna win the championship this year it'd be smart if youd show me some respect kid or else you just might get hurt". Boy said "guh im sorry" doom replied "its alright don't worry dane there's no need for you to be afarid of him". The boy known as dane walked over to jasmine and naridah said "ladies" naridah grabed one while saying "thanks this is perfect i've been really thirsty since beating that last guy" then drank it.
Jasmine shook her head side to side "uh no thanks i'd rather just have some water instead of that stuff" dane said "but water is not gonna give you the energy you need to fight". She replied "look i really don't like queen be nectar" dane turned to baron and cal said "what about you too? Do you want the last one" cal said "i'm not really thirsty right now" baron said in a gruff voice "i'll get refreshments after the special match in the competition"
Then glock took the last cup of queen bee nectar and he chugged it down too said "what's it matter anyway you could drink a gallon of that stuff and you still be puny, wouldn't ya not like those two big grunts over there could do anything if you come up against me I'm gonna squash you like an insect ya got that birdie". Jasmine humphed "and the same goes for the two of you arboris and baron" they glared eyes at glock but didn't do anything because glocks not worth it glock was laughing.
Suddenly glock tensed up like he was chokeing then naridah dropped her drinking cup then she fainted "the drink must've been spiked with something who was that little punk!?" Glock said while getting down on his knees and arms. He said "this can't be happening" and glock fainted to the crowd was screaming out of fear "quick somebody get a stretcher" announcer said.
Lief said "look at that glock and naridah are down before the match even started" barda said "what just happened out there". In the next scene we see four people dressed in white two for each stretcher carrying glock and naridah out of the ring "the boy with the nectar is gone" jasmine says. Jasmine turned here head to the left said to doom " you did that didn't you!? You know the boy who offered us those drinks I saw you talking to him before".
Doom looked at her said "don't be foolish little girl" jasmine said "I can't believe what a coward you are instead of fighting like a man you drugged your competitors". He replied "you've got an active imagination" jasmine said "you know I'm right". Both glock and naridah had white blankets over them, covering them from shoulder to toe.
Lief said "do you think doom actually do that it'd be such an obvious move" barda said " I wonder if they're gonna call off the games because of this". The crowd was furious "hey whats going on i wanna see a fight" guy said "stop talking and get on with it" another said. Crowd member said "just let those two go at it and show us the special competition between the other two" guy said "you better let them fight or we'll be onto you next". Announcer stood in center ring said "it has been determined that naridah and glock have been drugged by a sleeping potion somehow slipped into their prematch drinks and are therefore no longer to continue the competition" crowed booed more.
Announcer then said "however the council has discussed the matter and come to a decision the two remaining competitors doom and birdie will now fight for the championship and after that aboris and baron will star in the special competition".
Every crowd member cheered except for lief and barda "that's not fair" lief shouted "unfortunately they're up against a wall cause spoiling the match would only anger the crowd and make things worst and they're worked up enough as it is, it's better to keep the matches going and calm everyone down". Jasmine said "too bad for you I don't like that awful nectar cause now your gonna have to fight me and I don't plan on making it easy for you". Doom humed in arrogance "you thought you were so smart and had everything worked out didn't you, well I hate to burst your bubble but you messed up" jasmine said.
Doom said "you may be right let wait and see how smart i am" this had surprised jasmine then she glared at him. Next scene jasmine and doom were getting ready to fight the announcer then pulled down a lever in the wall this was how a small part of the colosseum rises only this time a battle ring rised. A gong was struck everyone could hear it "let the fight begin" announcer said jasmine readied her trunjet and doom readied his shield. Jasmine thought 'he's so calm it's weird' jasmine said "i just don't get it i know hes up to something" and tgen doom charged at her slashed his shield at her but she dodge.
Barda said "she's in trouble" this caught liefs attention "jasmines not herself it's almost as if she's afraid of him". Jasmine kept dodging dooms attack "you think so she's just fighting defensively" lief said barda said "true but that's because theres something very distracting about doom I couldn't figure it out before but now I think I know exactly what it is". Jasmine thought 'he fights like a madman he couldn't care less what happens to him even if he's injured or worse it's like he's got nothing to lose' while she was dodging dooms attack.
Crowd of watchers kept saying things like finish her ya finish her "swing and a miss swing and a miss this is so entertaining watch out little birdie, you might get dropped" brightly said. They kept fighting doom charged a shield punch at her she dodged there was a moment of silence between they kept walking around in circle stance. Crowd member said "hey what's taking you so long" another said "come on she's just a little girl finish her already" this caused lief to get up he couldn't believe what he was hearing.
Lief shouted "what's your problem" barda said "i think we're beginning to see what really draw s all these people to the rithmere games" lief said "what are you talking about?". Barda replied "sadly the only reason these people cone here is to see somebody get a good thrashing" lief said "that's horrible". Barda continued "there's a true art to combat it consists of a persons strength, mental quickness and overall agility but these people don't care at all they're not the least bit interested in any of that".
He speaks the truth all this crowd cares about is seeing someone gets hurt this is what you call hurting for entertainment. Jasmine stood and squat faceing doom who just stood there "you're scared I can see it in your eyes" doom said "just say that again" jasmine said. Doom continued "why don't you just do us all a favor and run home so you can hide your head in your mamas lap".
Jasmine thought 'what does he know about my mom' then jasmine rembered her mother "you have no idea what I've been through you're gonna pay for saying that" she said then charged. She had goten a boost in fighting she was giving doom a hard time he was struggling "your tired I can tell by the way you hold your weapon" jasmine said. Doom said "whats that" he pushed her away "you're too old for this you're worn out because there wasn't enough time for you to take your nap between matches" jasmine said this anger doom.
Then suddenly he was surprised jasmine started to bounce up and down then she started doing jumping around taunting "old man, old man come and catch me if you can". Doom had a hard time keeping up the jasmine swung her trunjet at him but he had difficulty blocking it she hit the end of her weapon on his shield and you use the opportunity to do it again this time with his face.
Barda said "all right way to go birdie" lief said "oh yeah keep it up" then doom charged at her and she jabbed the trunjet end into his gut. Jasmine then bash him with her weapon while saying "take that and that" brightly said "go Birdie go Birdie finish him off right now"
Lief said "wow it looks like Jasmine just might win the match but its" barda said "what's the matter lief" lief said "its almost like i don't know that person in the ring". Barda said "your right it's not like here" jasmine said "how are you feeling now, doom" bardas said "birdie look behind you behind you". She did just that her back was close to the bar any closer and she'd be out doom then smirked and jasmine looked at him.
Doom got up walked towards jasmine when he got close to her he started to chuckle this made jasmine mad. Lief said "it looks like he tricked her" barda said "exactly he's cornered her bit by bit she didn't notice cause she was concentrating on her attack". Brightly said "oh, I just love it what a dramatic turn of events for doom this is precisely what I wanted to see".
The crowd cheered "yeah doom you've got trapped now give it to her" one said "you gotta punish her" another said. Jasmine then charged and one end of her trunjet hit the center of dooms shield but then he grabbed it. Jasmine said "hey let go" while struggling "only if you forfeit" doom said then side kicked her left taking her weapon in the process.
He twirled the weapon so he would whield it in his left hand while jasmine said "in your dreams I am not letting you win this thing". Doom said "is that so" then jasmine ran to her left "where do you think you're going" he said while chasing her. He got jasmine cornered barda gasped lief said "this isn't good" doom said "i've got you now" charged at her to strike her with her weapon but she jumped up, and he only hit the corner.
Jasmine landed on top of the corner pole of the ring and she started running on the rail then doom stopped her with her trunjet but then she kicked it out of his hand. She jumped up grabbed her weapon said "thank you" landed on her feet but then doom charge at her and hit her with his shield she hit rope it looked like she was out. Lief and barda gasped but then they saw her trunjet was stuck in the ropes meaning she wasn't out "what!?" Doom said.
He then charged at her jasmibe then counted to three and she pulled herself back into the ring, doom then charged attack but missed. She had dodged to his left then slammed one end of her trunjet on the ring she stood on her right hand and jumped. This caught doom by surprise she does a somersault and landed on doom soldiers she grabbed his head with her hands while he grabs her legs "try to get out of this one" she said.
During the struggle they were backing up "i'm not gonna let a little girl beat me" doom said then he bent forward getting Jasmine off him. Jasmine was on her frunt then rolled over to her left when doom charged at her she dodged it she got up, gasping for breath while doom grabbed the weapons. Doom said "looks like you're the one who's tired now" jasmine continued to guess for air then she growled at him "I think it's time we put an end all this" and charged at her.
Jasmine look to her left and right thenstraight forward while he was charging, he said "the same thing won't work twice". She thought 'this isn't good he already knows I was planning to jump' brightly said "goody, goody, gum drops looks like it's time for the grand finale in this match". Just then jasmine dropped down and went under doom scurried right between his legs to dodge his attack, he said "hey. After that she slid and he was hanging over the ropes she charged at him while saying "and you are out" she kicked him with her leg and he fell out of the ring there by making her the winner.
Doom fell onto the ground of the ring announcer said "and the champion of this year's rithmere games is birdie" and the crowd roared wildly. The crowed kept chanting her fake name brightly said "i'm in heaven" lief sat down with barda breathed lightly "that was pretty close". Barda said "yeah they got a little touch and go there" the crowd kept chanting her fake name well she just stood there.
(Day time) five minutes after the match
Everyone saw baron and cal in the center of the ring along with the announcer jasmine decide to take a break and sit with lief and barda. Barda said "well looks like its cal's turn to fight" lief said "I wonder what so special about his battle" jasmine replied "well we're about to find out the announcer is gonna say something". Announcer said "attention everyone we found the reigning champion but the reason this fifth challenge is so special is to find a great survivor of battles" everone is surprised as two people pushed two carts one with two of each weapon and the other with nothing.
"What do you think their gonna do?" Lief said "I guess we'll find out" jasmine said. Anouncer said "for the fifth and special match contestants give us back the weapons you have" and they did that. "For our last match contestants, please give your weapons back" and baron and cal did just that.
Lief said "but how will they fight?" Jasmine replied "beats me" barda added "what about that table with two a like weapons". Announcer said "now you're all probably wondering why have we taken their weapons because we're giving them something special with these two of each weapons obsereve".
Then the ones who push the cart took the weapons and combine them first they removed one of the blunt ends from the trunjet then mallet and placed them in the center of the tunjet front and back. After that they pushed the mallet into the part of the trujet that was removed and on the other end the shield was placed on it. This astounded everyone in the audience even our heros "for this match we combined all three weapons into an ultimate weapon that represents the balance of offense and defense and the time limit will be three minutes" announcer said.
Barda said "so that's what they meant when they said this match was special" lief said "I guess Cal's really got his work cut out for him" jasmine hummed in agreement. Mother brightly said "this is going to be great I can't wait to see arboris skills" anouncer said "contestants, grab your new weapons" and baron then cal did just that.
Soon both cal and baron stood in a part of the field and the announcer pulled the lever, lifting them up in the special ring just like doom and jasmine. Anouncer said "let the fifth match begin" both baron and cal charged at each other first shield against mallet then vice versa. Everyone is amazed by how much stamina cal is giveing in this entire match not letting his gaurd down and clashing.
Both competitors weren't giveing each other an inch baron did a swipe with his weapon and with the mallet part. Cal then grabbed the middle and switched his weapon from offense to defense to block the mallet. Baron went to charge at him "only twelve seconds left" announcer said everyone began counting down from that.
With cal pinned to the edged he thought carefully he pushed of barons weapon feet swept him and pinned him down with his weapon. Barons stoped struggling since the bell went off "and the winner of the ultimate match is arbosis" announcer said.
The crowd cheered and lief said"wow he really won this match" jasmine said "it's so amazing" barda replied "I didn't doubt him for a second".
(Day time) center ring
All four members of our group is in the ring center with a table with two bags of gold coins and the announcer of the rithmere games. Jasmine said "wait so you're saying all those gold coins are for us" announcer said "it's the prizes you receive when you are the champion and win the secret prize". Barda and lief held small bags of gold coins in their hands both jasmine and cal picked up their big baggs and the crowd cheered. Brightly clapped said "so it's all over for another year what a finale riveting" the crowd continued to cheer.
(afternoon time) champion inn
Everyone of our group and mother brightly were in the food room with a lot of great food such as potatoes,turkey,bread,apples and lobster. Brightly said "now we really have cause to celebrate please eat to your hearts content today was filled with so much nailbiting tension". While she was saying that lief and barda scarfed down their food while jasmine just looked at it as for cal he ate a nice smooth pace.
Mother brightly said "i mean first orwen completely lost his witts and the drinks were spiked there was no telling what was going to happen next but that final and special match sublime". Jasmine looked down while mother brightly, continued to talk "they really were the most marvelous fights I've seen in a long time you mus be so proud my dear and lad".
She placed her hands on there shoulders spoke "you two are very popular champions there is nothing the crowd likes better than agility beating strength and stamina in fights". Jasmine continued to sigh "whats this you don't seem to be happy at all you must be exhausted" brightly said to jasmine "well then I shall devote all my cooking talent to create a meal for you that will give you strength that's the kind of special service a champion deserves" brightly said as she then walks to the kitchen.
Now that our group was alone, barda said"you were great out there jasmine and cal" lief said "id say amazing". Barda stood up said "i think we should stay and have a good night sleep we'll set out tomorrow morning when you two have rested up". Jasmine said "no it's fine i'm not tired" lief and barda looked at each other Cal said "what's the matter Jasmine". She said "i'm just disappointed, in myself" lief said "well you shouldn't be, doom was a strong opponent you fought fairly and beat him you're allowed to be happy about that".
Barda said "i agree I tried my very best and I couldn't defeat him but somehow you were able to" jasmine said "thats true, but i'm still embarrassed doom teased me about my mom and lost it even though I knew the whole time he was doing it so I get angry and stopped thinking clearly and i fell for it I don't know what came over me". Cal said "he was not aware about your mom jasmine everyone makes mistakes the important thing is not to make so much and learn from them".
Lief said "I wouldn't beat myself up over it if I were you anyone would react that way if their opponent brought up stuff like that in the heat of battle". Barda said "at the end of the day doom lost, and you won Jasmine that's that there's nothing else to it" jasmine looked up more cheerful. She said "right anyway I wanna get out of this town as fast as we can" then brightly showed up holding a pie.
Brightly said while walking "here, please have some of my special pie it will make you feel a lot better" then she placed the pie on the table. She then said "personally I'm pleased you one doom was such a disdainful man its good to see someone like that get comeupins im certain he's the one who drugged the nectar he disappeared as he woked he didn't even take his prize money".
She continued "surely this shows he has a guilty conscience" lief then asked "so how are glock and naridah doing are they alright?". Brigtly answered "both sleeping like babies I don't think they'll be able to leave tomorrow they're going to be so disappointed if they find that the games are over, actually I'm sad that they're finished too".
Barda said "speaking of leaving mother brightly, we were hoping to get out of town as soon as we finish eating". Brightly said "what but the sun will be going down besides Birdy must be extremely tired, you should rest before you start your long journey" jasmine said "oh you don't have to worry about me i'm sure I'll be fine once I've had some of this scrumptious looking food you've made". Barda said "we appreciate that you're concerned but we're actually in a bit of a hurry to leave" brightly said "well if you insist I won't force you, it's your choice after all".
Barda said "oh I almost forgot, before we leave rithmere we need to buy some supplies for our journey can you recommend a good store for us to go to". Brightly said "oh ha ha why i sell everything you'll ever need you don't have to go any further than right here".
(afternoon time) champion inn
In the next sdcene brightly opened a door with our group behind her inside the room where supplies for their travel "wow perfect" lief said. Barda said "you were right I think we will find everything we need thanks" jasmine said oh and ran to the right direction of the room. She dug through a box pulled out a blanket said "this looks so warm" lief said "i'm sure I'll be able to stick all of my stuff in this bag" while lifting it. Barda was seen holding a rope pulling on it to see how strong it is then the announcer showed up at the door, whispered to brightly "everything's all set they can go" and then he went away.
Cal had caught it at the corner of his eye while while pretending to look at stuff his instincts told him something wasn't right, but decided to play along so he decided to get some strong rope.
In the next scene we see our group of adventures in the front lobby gotten all their stuff back lief's and barda's cloaks,gloves and boots followed by jasmines knife and Cals fob but in addition, they all had bags except cal. Lief then handed her a bag of gold as payment for food and board "thanks to all of you" she said barda said "no no thank you mother brightly ever since we arrived here you've been so good to us good bye" then they turned around and started walking to the front door.
Brightly said "one last thing" this caused everyone to turn around and looked at her surprise minus Cal being surprised. Brightly said "it's hard for me to say this I don't like to spread bad rumors about the games or rithmere but the truth is there's something the four of you need to know". Barda said "I don't understand what are you saying mother brightly" she said "the fact is it's not uncommon for champions and even minir prize winners to run into some kind of misfortune usually it happens when they leave Rithmere".
Barda said "i see you mean bandits wait outside and rob competitors of their winnings" brightly said "that's exactly what I mean those gold coins are great temptation to a lot of people". She continued "i'll bet they're watching the inn right now and know that anyone leaving is a prize winner they'll spot you outside these doors and follow you till it's safe to attack they're quite cunning at this because they've been at it for many years". Brightly then told them" there is another way out of the inn though, the nectar barrels are abrought in that way but a few people know about it the backstreet is narrow and usually deserted you could slip out without anyone seeing you easy as winking".
Barda said "then I think it'd be best if we leave that way thanks again for your advice" jasmine said "kree go on ahead and wait for us outside" he cawed and did just that. Lief walked to brightly said "mother brightly you've been absolutely fantastic I don't really know what to say your by far the best inkeeper I've ever meet" she smiled.
Somewhere in the champion Inn
Mother brightly open the passageway where they get the nectar barrels said "this is the passageway The ceiling is very low please watch your head". First barda went through then jasmine, lief and cal "so this is where I say farewell and take good care of yourselves" brightly said. Lief said "thanks again" jasmine,barda,lief replied "goodbye" cal sarcastic truth said "thanks for telling us this passage way always looking out for our best interest and not stabbing us in the back like a coward". Brightly then said "good luck on your journey" and close the door.
Their only light was a torch barda had carried since he was the first one to enter while they're walking "she's such a nice lady I wouldn't of mind of staying there another night". Jasmine said "I don't care how nice she was the faster I get out of this town the better I'll feel cal held his small sack of gold coins saying "at least we got a small money prize baggy ala this bag of coins" and a rainbow tentacle shot out and grabbed it from the belt.
Barda said "besides we're on a quest remember we can't afford to waste any more time in rithmere the sooner we find the other gems and get them back on the belt, the better". Lief said "yeah yeah I know" barda stopped saw a door said "well that door must be the way out".
As they got closer barda grabbed onto the door handle bar but to their surprise the door wouldn't budge barda said "what the door is locked she didn't say anything about this". Lief said "why would it be locked for?" Lief said jasmine replied "maybe it's just stuck because people don't use it much". Cal said "makes me wonder what else she didn't tell us about" then suddenly a trap door beneath them opened and they fell down.
You could hear their screams as they plummet down to who knows where.
(Night time) outside of champion inn
Kree is seen flying around in circles in the air and on the dark road, something was coming out It was a carriage pulled by two horses with two gray guards by the rains. As they drove by mother brightly, he and the announcer stood in front of the entrance of the Champion Inn they watched as the cart drove by and looked at each other, smiling evilly.
As for our group they were nowhere seen, but inside the back of the cart where a few boxes and barrels and four large body bags.
