Today marks another day under the tutelage of my Jonin-Sensei, Shikaku Nara. As I sit here, penning my thoughts onto paper, I can't help but reflect on the impact he has had on my life, and the deep admiration I hold for him.

At first glance, Shikaku-Sensei may come across as lazy and aloof, with his nonchalant attitude and penchant for calling everything a drag. But beneath that facade lies a true Shinobi, a master of shogi and battle strategy, always planning his moves several steps ahead of his opponent.

I'll never forget the countless times he has defeated me in battle, his Jutsu catching me off guard time and time again. But with each defeat, I've come to realize the depth of his skill and the sheer brilliance of his mind.

One hundred and twenty times he has outmaneuvered me, preventing me from even considering unnecessary thoughts. It's no wonder that I hold him in such high regard, seeing him as a formidable opponent worthy of the title of Hokage.

But it's not just his prowess in battle that I admire. Shikaku-Sensei has shown me patience and kindness, taking the time to guide me and teach me, even when I falter. He may seem aloof on the surface, but deep down, he possesses a warmth that rivals even that of my beloved nii-san, Minato.

In many ways, Shikaku-Sensei has become like a father to me, a figure of strength and guidance in a world filled with uncertainty. Though I've never known what it's like to have parents, Minato has always been there for me, acting as both mother and father. And now, Shikaku-Sensei fills that void in a different way, offering me support and understanding in ways I never thought possible.

I know it may sound embarrassing to admit, but I am truly grateful for everything Shikaku-Sensei has done for me. He has been a constant presence in my life, teaching me not only the ways of the Shinobi, but also the importance of loyalty, perseverance, and compassion.

So, as I continue on this journey of self-discovery and growth, I am thankful to have Shikaku Nara by my side, guiding me every step of the way. And though I may never say it to his face, he will always hold a special place in my heart, as both a teacher and a father figure.

My dearest Crystal,

As I sit here, reading your journal entry, tears fill my eyes and my heart swells with pride and love for you. Your words, penned with such honesty and sincerity, resonate deeply within me, reminding me of the incredible person you were and the impact you had on those around you.

To hear you speak so fondly of Shikaku-Sensei warms my heart in ways I cannot express. It's clear from your words that he played a significant role in your life, guiding you with patience and wisdom, much like a father would. And though it pains me to know that I wasn't there to witness it firsthand, I am grateful beyond measure for the love and care he showed you.

Your admiration for Shikaku-Sensei's skill and intellect is evident, and I can't help but feel a twinge of jealousy knowing that he had the privilege of training you. But more than that, your recognition of his warmth and compassion speaks volumes about the kind of man he truly is. He may have hidden it well behind his lazy demeanor, but it's clear that his heart was always in the right place when it came to you.

As I read your words, I can't help but feel a sense of regret for not being able to provide you with the same level of guidance and support. I know I wasn't always there for you, my duties as a Shinobi often taking me away for long periods of time. But please know, my dear Crystal, that my love for you has never wavered, and I am forever grateful for the time we shared together.

Your mention of Minato, your beloved nii-san, brings a smile to my face. He was a remarkable man, and I know he would be so proud of the person you've become. Just as he acted as both a mother and father figure to you, Shikaku-Sensei filled that role in his own way, guiding you with wisdom and compassion.

As I finish reading your journal entry, I am filled with a renewed sense of determination to honor your memory and continue your legacy. I will strive to live up to the example set by Shikaku-Sensei, to be a guiding light for those who need it most, just as he was for you.

Forever in my heart,

Might Guy
