I don't own any characters here except for the Original characters I made up, characters from Jujitsu Kaisen and Danmachi belong to their respective owners. Most events may be canon to the original story, but some will be made up.

You guys, Oblivion here, and welcome back to OSS. I will keep this short, but I got a few questions concerning ships from some of you. Currently, I haven't planned ships around Yuji, I am trying to keep it similar to the OG series. However, 1 thing is confirmed, and that's Yuji x Aiz ship will never and I mean NEVER will happen. Also, Bell will join the familia a little later than the OG series and would probably look at Yuji as his goal to get stronger instead of Aiz. Also, Yuji's domain will develop as he levels up, so it won't be the same as it looked in JJK. Also, I was rethinking the introduction of Sukuna and will add him back but with a twist. Also, we created a Discord server. The link with my afterthoughts on making the chapter will be at the bottom. Note, I have also started to spread the Fanfic on other sites, so if you see them there, don't flag or report it as it is me. The website on which they are currently is Wattpad(User is OblivionsHero) and working on getting it on Royal Road(User is TheOblivion). Also unintentionally, I had to break this chapter into parts as School has decided to come at me like a freight train with my SATs around the corner looking at me like they are about end my whole career as a writer and cripple my hands. Now let's dive into the story.

And thanks again to my Bro Semican for peer-reviewing it

Chapter 3, Part 1: How to Build Your Familia

Yuji walked down Daedalus Street in the bright morning light with a group of papers. After Hestia gave Yuji her Flana, she tasked him with delivering the documents to the guild to register their familia, as she had to go to her part-time job.

Of course, Yuji understood as he took the documents and headed towards the guild.

As he walked, he saw kids playing across the streets, chasing after one another, a woman hanging clothes on a clothesline, and a few stands starting to open up.

Walking down the streets was peaceful.

Yuji hadn't felt this peace in a long time since he became a jujitsu sorcerer. There were no curses, someone trying to kill him, or even Sukuna trying to take over his body. It was just him and the peaceful morning light of the city.

"Now this is life, I wish every day could be like this"

As the vessel walked down the streets, he smelled a divine scent that made his stomach growl.

"I should find some food, I'm starving. Now that I think about it, I hadn't eaten anything yesterday other than the food Mister Henry supplied us on his caravan."

Yuji stopped in his tracks and pondered what he should do. On the one hand, he promised Hestia that he would deliver the papers to the guild to register their familia, but on the other hand, he was hungry—he hadn't eaten anything—and was starving.

"Would the goddess get mad at me for taking a detour to get food and turn the papers in later?" Yuji thought, craving the delicious smell but remembered Hestia's bright face when he said he would join her familia.

"No…Must…Resist…Temptation…"

Yuji began to walk fast toward the guild trying to escape the tempting smell.

"Where is the guild again? Come on, Yuji, think, you must remember something that may help you find the guild in this brain of yours."

As Yuji jogged across the street, he remembered the note the women had given him on directions to the guild. Yuji rummaged through his pocket trying to find the paper and finally found it after a brief while of searching.

"THANK YOU RANDOM LADY WHO GAVE ME THIS NOTE WITH THE DIRECTIONS OF THE GUILD!" Yuji shouted as he kissed the note.

Yuji opened the folded paper and read the pretty straightforward directions. Then, he bolted across the streets, holding the documents as if his life depended on them. He passed many shops and stands one after another until, after almost 15 minutes of running, he found himself in front of a large castle-like structure. Then it hit him: The note the lady gave him was only a set of directions towards the guild when he was near the bridge from before.

"Oh come on, how did I not remember this earlier. Now I am lost in the middle of this massive city. Goddess Hestia is gonna be worried that I ditched her or something if I don't hurry back before tonight"

As Yuji stood there, lost in thought, he heard the grand doors open and he turned to see the same tall guy he bumped into before, with a group of other people from earlier, although this time he saw one that looked like a 10-year-old with a spear.

"HEY WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE BRAT!" the tall grey-haired man yelled to Yuji, stunned by the situation.

"Uh, sorry I didn't mean to come here I was just–"

"JUST WHAT? ARE YOU TRYING TO GET INTO THIS FAMILIA? WELL SORRY HERE IS A NEWS FLASH YOU AREN'T WELCOME HERE KID NOW SCRAM!"

"BETE THATS ENOUGH" the same jade-haired woman said from yesterday as she walked towards the vessel.

"I am sorry for my colleagues' rudeness. My name is Riveria, and I am one of the senior members of the Loki Familia. Now, if I may ask, why are you here?"

"Uhh, I'm sorry. I was looking for the guild, but I got lost and ended up here just by coincidence."

"Hm, and if I may ask, you must be new here in orario, so what may you need at the guild?"

"Well, basically I met a goddess and I joined her familia and she tasked me to bring these documents to the guild to register our familia"

Riviera stared at the vessel for a moment before sighing.

"You may join us, Yuji, we are heading towards the dungeon, so we can make a slight detour towards the guild and take you there while we head towards the dungeon.

"Really! thanks, I appreciate it a lot"

"You will need to wait a moment, Yuji. We are still waiting for a few other members, and then we will head out"

"That's fine. I am not in any rush; I just want to register the documents.

The vessel turned to see the small, blonde kid talking to the tall man, who seemed reluctant to listen to what he had to say.

"By the way, do you guys have any food?"

Riviera looked at the teen for a moment and wondered how such a careless teen could exist. She was reluctant to let Yuji in, even though his intentions were pure. She didn't yet trust him enough to let him into their family's base.

"I am sorry, Yuji, but I do not have any food on me. I do know that there are a couple of stalls near the guild that sell some food.

"REALLY! THANK YOU, MS. RIVERIA" Yuji said ecstatically, earning him a glare from Bete.

As if on cue, the doors behind Bete and he blond boy opened, and Yuji saw a small group of people exit the building. They all looked vastly different, and Yuji stared at one of them, a burly man with a big brown beard. As soon as the vessel saw him, it reminded him of a boiling ball.

"Sorry, Riveria, for the wait," said a girl with golden hair and light brown eyes that shone like bronze. She turned to Yuji and was about to ask who he was when the girl behind her ran past her and aggressively shook the vessel's hands.

"Hi, I'm Tiona, nice to meet you, are you here to apply to this familia? If not that's fine,"

"Well, I'm not here to apply to your familia. I joined one last night, I got lost and ended up here by accident. Oh and i'm Yuji, Yuji Itadori"

"Oh really? Well, I guess that can't be helped, so you are a newbie then at the whole adventuring and dungeon diving thing,"

"Yeah sorry I have no idea what you are talking about"

Before Tiona could reply, the blond kid had started walking towards the vessel, and Tiona "Ahem, since everyone is here, let's get going"

"Got it Finn"

Finn walked closer to the yuji, "sorry for the late introduction, I'm Finn, the captain for the Loki familia"

"Nice to meet you, I'm yuji? But aren't kids supposed to be at school something?"

There was a silence among the group, Yuji wondered what he had said was wrong. Tiona nudged Yuji as she got closer to his ear. "Yuji, you aren't supposed to say that to a pallum, it's highly offensive"

"What's a pallum?" he whispered to Tiona.

"Just apologize"

Yuji understood as he bowed to Finn, "I'm sorry if I offended you, I didn't mean it rudely"

Finn stared at the yuji for a moment before sighing, "Get up, Yuji, but seriously, it sounds like you never met or seen a pallum before"

"I haven't, I never even knew about it… wait a minute, hold on, the vessel was deep in thought trying to piece everything together.

"Something happened, Yuji?" Tiona asked as the vessels face became chiseled, it looked like he was about to burst a blood vessel.

"Don't overcomplicate it, Yuji, to put it simply, a pallum is a demi-human race and are typically small, some people refer to us as the weakest race, but we have an ace up our sleeves that gives us an advantage, which is our excellent eyesight that helps us see better in the dark" finn explained as yuji understood.

"Ok I think I understand, but what is the whole dungeon diving thing?"

"I'll explain it to you on the way while we head to the guild"

Yuji nodded as the group began to walk down the stone streets.

"To put it simply, Yuji, dungeon diving is the process where adventurers descend the dungeon, clearing floors of monsters for drops and magic stones which we can cash in back at the guild. The lower the floor, the larger the magic stone, and the more money you make from the stone.

Suddenly, Yuji remembered how he fought the weird wolf back when he first found himself in the woods and how it disintegrated and dropped the shiny crystal. Yuji rummaged his pockets until he found the crystal which was the size of his thumb and was as thick as four Valis,"

Yuji showed the crystal to Finn "Is this a magic stone?"

Finn looked at the large magic stone in Yuji's hands, "Where did you get this, Yuji?! His sudden shift of tone caught the attention of Riveria and the others.

"I want the whole story, Yuji from the start to the finish,"

"Well, ok if you say so, you see I was fighting my uncle in Shinjuku–"

"Where is Shinjuku?" Riveria asked yuji

"Shinjuku is a city in Japan, it's pretty big, much smaller than Orario, but Orario doesn't even compare to Tokyo in size"

This caught the attention of the whole group, and it further confused Yuji because they hadn't heard of Japan.

"Okay, slow down, Yuj. Let me get this straight: You say that this so-called city of Toko is bigger than Orario?" Finn asked Yuji.

"Tokyo, and yeah, why do you sound surprised?"

"Well, to put it simply, Yuji, Orario is considered the largest city in the world with a population of almost 1 million," a girl that looked like Tiona said.

"Sorry, but who are you?" Yuji asked the girl

"I'm Tione, Tiona's elder twin sister,"

"Oh, ok, but 1 million people isn't that big, don't get me wrong, it is a lot of people in one city, but Japan has a few cities with over 1 million people, with Tokyo having about 37.4 million people living there and is the biggest city in the whole world"

The group stood in silence for a few moments.

'WHAT!" they yelled in unison, except for Bete who didn't trust anything Yuji said.

"OK, I understand you are shocked, but can I continue how I got the magic stone?"

"YOU CAN'T JUST SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND EXPECT US NOT TO OVERREACT," Tiona and Tione replied simultaneously.

"Where even is Japan, Yuji? Riveria asked the vessel who just stared at her.

"Oh Boy, it's like Bell all over again, to keep it short, Japan is an island country in the east"

"So can I continue about how I got the magic stone now?"

"You can continue, Yuji," Finn said as he turned to the blond girl who whispered something.

"So I was fighting my Uncle and I finally beat him in Shinjuku, he used some weird chant and then I was teleported into the woods somewhere in the middle of nowhere and I saw some fur sticking out of a bush and I thought it was a dog so I called for it, but the animal rushed at me and wsn't a dog, but some sort of wolf and it tried to eat me so I chucked it at a tree and it vanished and dropped the crystal"

"Yuji, did the wolf have silver fur, red eyes, about as tall as I am, and grey tips fur around the ear?"

"Now that I think about it, it did, do you know what it was, Finn?

"Yuji, that was a shadow wolf, it's a rare monster, it can kill any normal person who doesn't have a falna"

"How come it's rare"

"Shadow wolves are attracted to high concentrations of dark magic, negative emotions, and corruption. They usually feed off of it and grow stronger, the more negative forces they consume, the stronger they can get. There was once an instance where a shadow wolf consumed so much negativity that it killed a group of level 2 adventurers, and judging by the size of this magic stone, I'd say that the shadow was around high level 1"

"So how much do you think I can make from this magic stone?"

"Since it's from a shadow wolf, their magic stones usually have unknown properties which make them very expensive as they can make powerful magic swords. I'd say around 35,000 Valis at least, but I would recommend you to keep it. If you can find a good smith, you could make a really powerful magic weapon"

"Hmmm, Ok Got it, thanks Finn"

"No problem, Yuji" Finn gave the magic stone back to the vessel as he put the stone back into his pocket.

"By the way, Finn, are there any more dungeons across the world, and what's the point of even going into the dungeon?"

"No, there isn't. Orario is the whole city in the world that has a dungeon, and the reason we go into it to clear monsters and stop them from escaping the dungeon. If we didn't do it, the monsters would lay havoc to the world. That's why we go into the dungeon and try to clear as many floors as we can. Why are you asking Yuji?"

"No reason I was just wondering"

Yuji pieced everything he heard from meeting Hestia to what Finn and Riveria explained to him and now it all made sense. This situation reminded Yuji of how he learned of the jujutsu sorcerers and their society that was kept hidden from the world. It seemed like Orario was cut off from the world, which explained the old-fashioned weapons, technology, and currency. It was almost similar to the sorcerer society in Japan as the sorcerers fought curses while keeping a low profile, and the adventurers fought the monsters who were trying to escape the dungeon. One thing still confused the vessel was how they were able to keep a city this large hidden from the world. Then again, the gods were walking and living in the same city as them.

As they walked, Yuji saw that the other members of the familia were talking to each other, engrossed in their conversations, he felt a strange tugging sensation, almost similar to the death paintings, coming from the blonde girl, he didn't understand why he felt it, but then it hit him.

"Hey Finn, I got a few questions"

"Ok, what are they, Yuji?"

"Who is that blonde girl who is standing next to Riveria?" Yuji asked as he pointed towards where Rivera was walking.

Finn turned to where Yuji pointed, "She is Aiz Wallenstein, she is one of the few level 5 adventurers… Oh, I get it, you got a crush on her, "

"WHAT, NO NO NO, FINN I DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON HER" Yuji yelled in Finn's ear.

"Quit yelling, jeez, Yuji, I was only teasing you," Finn rubbed his ear that was closest to Yuji.

"But seriously, why are you asking?"

"It may be a hunch, I don't know, Choso didn't describe it well, but I think she is a death painting"

"What the hell is a death painting?"

"Ok, to put it simply, she is half spirit and half human"

Finn swung the spear to Yuji's neck, hanging only a few inches away from his throat. "YOU HAVE 30 SECONDS TO EXPLAIN WHO YOU REALLY ARE YUJI"

And that's a wrap, sorry for the shortish chapter, guys, I really wanted to make this chapter longer, so I apologize that it isn't that long, and to those of you who read this, I may make a ship about Hephestus X Yuji, it isn't confirmed, but just a idea.
