Chapter 20:
Pohjola's Ordeal
00000000
Luna Nova
At Luna Nova it was nighttime as the students were all in their dorms getting ready for bed. In Akko's team room Akko was looking at the Shiney rod.
Between the cards, the attacks, and Croix, Akko forgot about the rod. She know it's real name is Claiomh Solais, and she tried calling it that too. But to her it's Shiney Chariot's Shiny rod. That and it's easier to say.
"Hey Akko, I don't doubt you when you say the Shiney Rod can bring back magic. But do you think you can revive the seven words?" Asked Lotte curious.
"If Kero and Yue say that it will happen, then it will. And I already unlocked three words leaving only four more." Said Akko determined.
"And you two know these words." Sucy asked Kero and Yue.
"It's more complicated then that Sucy." Started Kero as he sat crossed legged on a desk.
"It's more then just knowing the words. It's understanding the meaning behind them." Kero told them as he got three confused looks back.
"What Cerberus means is saying the words is easy understanding them is another thing. For example, the third word is Arae Aryha which means 'Do not compare yourself with others, do what only you can do'. You all understood what that meant and the staff reacted to that." Explained Yue as the girls understood that better now.
"Then what's the next word?" Asked Akko excited.
"It's Mayinab Dyssivyrdd which mean 'to see it through, patience is important." Said Kero as Sucy started to laugh.
"Akko… patience." Said Sucy as she continued to laugh.
"I'm not that bad." Said Akko in a huff making Sucy laugh more.
"Believe it or not Akko was a lot worse when I first meet her." Said Kero shocking Sucy making her stop.
"She was!" Said Sucy not believing it.
"All those stakeouts helped calm her down." Said Kero as Akko was one to really rush into things at the beginning.
"So should we cancel our trip this weekend?" Asked Lotte as she was referring to them going to her home for the weekend as they already had permission.
"No we don't have to. The words aren't limited to here." Yue told her as he saw how excited for this trip she was.
"And sometimes a change of scene can be good for people." Said Kero as this brought a smile to Lotte.
"By the way Lotte how are we getting to your place?" Asked Akko as she never really asked.
"We start off by using the Leyline, then we'll take a train, and then transfer to a bus after that." Said Lotte as Akko then got an idea.
"What if we skip the bus and fly to your place Lotte." Suggested Akko with a wide grin.
"Akko… we've never done that outside of school before." Said Lotte unsure.
"And what if we can't find a ride?" Asked Sucy as she was more worried about being lost in the middle of nowhere.
"That's why we're doing it with the bus route. I'm sure they'll have more then one stop. Right Lotte." Said Akko.
"There is more then one stop. But why should we Akko?" Asked Lotte curious.
"Well imagine how your parents will react to see you flying your broom to your home." Said Akko as Lotte did think about it.
"I guess we can try." Said Lotte as even she couldn't deny that she would love to show her parents her growth.
The next day the girls took off as Sucy and Lotte rode their broom while Akko and the other flew beside them.
As they flew Sucy was curious about something.
"Kero, Yue how do you two know so much about the rod and the words?" Sucy asked them.
"It's a long story Sucy. But to simplify it we were there when the rod was made and the words chosen." Explained Kero shocking the girls.
"Wait, what?" Was all Akko could say in shock.
"But that's all we can say at the moment." Yue told them confusing the girls.
"But why not?" Asked Lotte as it didn't make sense to her.
"You girls need to understand that this isn't like capturing the cards. This is about the magic of the whole world. Safeguards and other things were put into place to prevent the wrong person from finding the Claiomh Solais and using it for the wrong reasons." Explained Kero as Akko wondered something.
"But I passed the test set by Clow Reed. Doesn't that mean anything?" Akko asked her guardians curious.
"Not really in this case. In the case of the cards Clow Reed made that test himself. But with the Claiomh Solais it was the nine old witches who made this test. And as such neither would affect the other." Explained Kero as Akko nodded as part of her wished they did.
"Then why do you know what you know?" Asked Sucy curious as they said that the test wouldn't affect the other.
"You forget Clow Reed and Beatrix were married. So of course, they would have helped each other with their projects." Said Kero as he was right.
The rest of the flight went on as the left the Leyline and got on a train. When they got off the train, they found it was a little too windy to fly so they took the bus instead.
Soon they reached their destination. A little store called L Kiosk. As the others looked at it they didn't want to say it out loud, but they could easily walk by this place.
"This here is my house." Said Lotte as it felt good to be home.
"I'm home." Said Lotte as she entered the store as the others followed her.
"I thought that you lived in a magic tool shop, Lotte?" Asked Sucy as this looked more like a general store.
"I do, they're here." Said Lotte as she gestured to a small corner where magic items were.
"Wow." Was all Kero could say as they might as well not been there.
That was when they heard someone rushing down some stairs. Then a door opened revealing a large man. He wore blue overalls with a red shirt underneath. He has a big round head with blue eyes and hair the same color as Lotte's. His hair was short as he has a bread that connected to his hair along with a mustache. And lastly, he had a pipe in his mouth.
"Lotte! You're finally home!" Said the man happily as she hugged Lotte and lifted her up.
"Look at you! You've grown so much since I last saw you!" Continued the man as held Lotte over his head and started to spin her around.
"No, please stop, dad! You're making me dizzy." Called out Lotte as the man was her father.
"Welcome to our home." Said another person. This person was around Lotte height and has long black hair that looks like reaches her legs. She wears glasses like Lotte with a red and white strip head band around her head. She wore black dress with red shrug around her shoulders. This was Lotte's mother.
"Thank you for having us." Said Akko and Sucy as they bowed to her.
"You must be Akko! And her guardians Kero and Yue!" Said Lotte's mom.
"And you're Sucy, right?" Asked Lotte's father as he stopped spinning Lotte.
"Lotte is always writing us about the two of you. Isn't that right dear?" Said Lotte's mom as she enjoyed those letters.
"Well, don't let us keep you. I bet you're all starving!" Said Lotte's dad as she gestured them all into their home.
Once at their table they presented them with what looked like small pies. They have a crust with yellowish filling and a green leaf on top of them.
"Here it is. Hapansilakka pie." Said Lotte happily as she grabbed one for herself.
"Every year at around this time, our next-door neighbor Ms. Yanne bakes it for us." Explained Lotte's mother as she then added. "Lotte, make sure to thank her tomorrow."
"Right." Said Lotte as she loved the Hapansilakka pies Ms. Yanne makes for them.
"Thank you for the food." Said Everyone as they had a pie in their hands, expect Yue.
As everyone bite into their pies, Akko eyes went wide as she wanted to throw up all the sudden.
'What's with this pie!?' Questioned Akko as she's never eaten anything like this before.
"Yummy!" Said Sucy as Akko wondered why she was the only one like this.
"I know right." Agreed Kero as he finished his pie. That was when Akko discreetly gave Kero her pie as she spit out what was in her mouth.
"It's got such a weird taste; I just want more!" Continued Sucy as she continued to eat hers.
"Please, eat as many of them as you'd like!" Said Lotte's mother happily.
"I think I'll do just that." Said Sucy.
"You're not gonna eat, Akko?" Asked Lotte a little surprised.
"I'm full. Thank you." Said Akko nervously.
"Akko, Lotte tell me you have the Clow cards. Is that true?" Asked Lotte's mother curious.
"Yes." Said Akko wondering where this could go.
"Then please continue being Lotte's friend." Said Lotte's mother.
"I'm hoping she'll continue being my friend." Admitted Akko as she gave Lotte a warm smile. A smile Lotte copied.
They continued on like this for a while before they all headed for bed. As they left the table one pie was left. And if anyone looked at it as they left, they would have seen it bubble in the middle.
The next morning everyone was awoken by Lotte screaming.
"Lotte! What's the matter?" Asked Akko as she and the other rushed to Lotte's location.
But they didn't need an answer as they saw it. It was Lotte's mother, and she moss green from head to toe.
"What is this?" Asked Akko in shock.
"I don't know." Admitted Kero as he's never seen anything like this before.
"This is Lotte's mother." Said Yue as he was hovering around her. "I can still sense her magic."
"But why does she look like that?" Asked Akko scared.
"I'm not sure. But the question is if this has spread to anyone else." Said Yue as this could be the start of a pandemic.
"It has. Look outside!" Said Sucy in a scared tone.
Everyone looked over as the blood left Lotte's face.
"Dad!" Said Lotte as the same thing has happened to him.
He was in the backyard at the fence line as he was facing another person. This person had one small glasses, a yellow jacket over a lighter shade yellow sweater. But like with Lotte's parent she was moss green as well.
"Is that…?" Started Kero only for Lotte to bet him to it.
"Ms. Yanne!" Cried out Lotte.
"Hello! I wanted to say I absolutely loved your pies." Said Sucy as she shook Ms. Yanne's hands.
"Really." Said Kero as even he knew better then to do that.
"Why is all off this happening?" Asked Lotte as she wanted to break down in tears.
"Kero, Yue can you check the town? See if this is spreading?" Asked Akko worried hoping she was wrong.
"Of course." Said Yue as that was the right call as the two flew off.
"But what if it is?" Asked Lotte worried as Akko had no answer.
"This is moss, isn't it?" Said Sucy as she looked at the moss on her hands that she got from shaking Ms. Yanne hands.
"Do you know something Sucy?" Asked Akko hopeful.
"No, not really." Said Sucy as they walked back inside.
"Look." Said Sucy as they were looking at the book that Lotte's mother was holding.
"Greenman disease?" Read Akko as she never heard of it before.
"The proper method to prevent the infection of Greenman disease" Read Lotte as was even more confused than before.
"What is this?" Asked Akko worried.
"Sounds pretty cool actually." Said Sucy as she was reading the book.
"What!?" Said both Akko and Lotte as they looked at Sucy in disbelief.
"Greenman disease is a condition which happens at most once every thousand years in this region. In conjunction with the level of carbon dioxide emissions, birth rate of local herring, and the timing of pollen in the air, an astrological placement creates the catalyst for the disease to be born when a hapansilakka pie is baked at the perfect temperature." Read off Lotte as they were wondering if this was real or not until they got to the end.
"Hapansilakka Pie!?" They all cried out in surprise.
Akko then rushed to where the last pie was and saw it was all mossy. Glaring at it the threw it in the trash, knowing the damage was done.
"Once the outbreak occurs, a local witch must prevent the spread of the infection." Read Lotte as they didn't like the sound of that.
"Once you get infected, what happens then?" Asked Akko scared of the answer.
"Your body slowly turns into moss and eventually withers and dies." Read Lotte as she lowered the book revealing she was crying.
"That's terrible." Said Akko as they needed to do something.
"What about the other local witches? Can they help us?" Asked Sucy as they might already have the cure ready.
"My mom is the only witch in the area." Said Lotte as there was no one to help.
"Your wrong Lotte. We're here. And your mother has already shown us what we're dealing with." Said Akko in a firm tone.
"And if it's in a book then there must be a cure." Added Sucy as Lotte looked in the book.
"Your right Sucy. It's all right here." Said Lotte as there was a whole page for the cure.
They all then sat down at the table as they read the page.
"Five items are needed in order to create the antidote. One flake of snow that falls in pine woods, a berry leaf that was blown off by the wind, droppings of a newborn reindeer raised by the Sami people, a green Amanita, and a medicine capsule made by a yeti." Read Sucy as that was quiet the list of ingredients.
"Lotte, do you have any of these?" Asked Akko as that would save them time.
"No, but I know where they are." Answered Lotte as she was now determined.
"Where what are?" Asked Kero and he and Yue had just returned.
"Kero, Yue! How is everyone around here?" Asked Lotte worried for her friends and neighbors.
"Some are in the same state as your parents, while others are just beginning to turn." Answered Kero with a frown.
"Did you find out what's happening?" Asked Yue curious.
"We did." Answered Akko as she explained everything to them.
"I see then." Said Yue while Kero was baffled by the exact things to happen to cause this.
"Then how will we do this?" Asked Kero curious.
"I'm fairly certain I know where we can get the green Amanita at least." Said Sucy as mushrooms were her things.
"Take Yue with you. Just in case something happens to you." Said Akko as Sucy nodded as backup never hurt.
"Then we'll gather the others." Said Lotte as she knew where they should be.
"Let's go." Said Akko as the girls got changed and headed out. As Sucy and Yue flew one way and the others the opposite way.
Soon Akko, Sucy and Kero stood in front of pine tree forest.
"First up, one flake of snow that falls in pine woods." Said Lotte as she brought the book with them.
"There's snow all over." Said Akko wondering if any bit of snow would work.
"It must fall naturally, or else it is rendered ineffectual." Read Lotte making Kero groaned.
"That could take hours to happen." Said Kero as they were on a time limit.
"Not if we cause it to happen." Said Akko confusing both of them.
"Akko you can't kick the tree." Warned Lotte.
"I was thinking this." Said Akko as she held up the SNOW card.
"Of course, the SNOW card can cause it to snow. Allowing the snow to fall down naturally." Said Kero as that was a great work around.
Lotte thought about it as she checked the book. All it said was for the snow to fall naturally. So making it snow should have no negative side effects.
"Do it Akko." Said Lotte as Akko nodded.
"Card created by Clow, abandon your old form and reincarnate, under the name of Akko, your new master!" Chanted Akko as she tossed the SNOW card before her as she then transformed it.
"SNOW created a gentle snow fall." Ordered Akko as it started to lightly snow before them.
Lotte smiled as snow fell off the tree's as she gathered it up in a jar.
"Next, a berry leaf blown off by the wind." Said Lotte as the quickly found a berry bush.
"Maybe we can use WINDY to blow a leaf off." Suggested Kero as there was no breeze in their area.
"Let me check." Said Lotte as she didn't want to make any mistakes.
But then out of nowhere Akko sneezed. It was so strong it blew leaves off the bush.
"Akko!" Said Lotte annoyed.
"I'm sorry. It was an accident. It's cold out here." Said Akko as she didn't mean for that to happen.
"It should be fine." Said Kero as he gathered the leaves. "After all her sneeze blew them off."
"I guess." Said Lotte worried that it might not count.
"So what's next the dropping or the capsule?" Asked Akko trying to change subjects.
"We'll get the dropping next." Said Lotte as they took off.
As they flew Akko and Kero looked around for any signs of deer in the area as Lotte looked forward. But then out of nowhere she stopped.
"This is terrible!" Said Lotte in a panic.
"What's wrong Lotte?" Asked Akko worried as all she saw was an empty field.
"We need the droppings of a newborn reindeer raised but the Sami people, but Mr. Nicholas' house is gone. It used to be here." Said Lotte as she was close to panicking.
"Someone lived here?" Said Kero as there was no signs of a building here.
"Yes. He's always been a bit of a nomad." Said Lotte as she fell to her knees.
"Does he have a cell phone or something? A way of contacting him?" Asked Akko hopeful.
"He doesn't have a cell phone. He doesn't even get mail." Answered Lotte shocking Akko.
"Then how do you get in contact with him?" Asked Akko surprised to hear that in this day and age.
"Like this." Started Lotte as she took a deep breath.
"Mr. Nicholas!" Yelled Lotte as loud as she could, as her voice echoed around them.
"Wow." Said Kero as he would have never guessed Lotte could yell that loudly.
"Let's head back for now. Maybe when we're all back at the house, I'll find another way of contacting him." Said Lotte as Akko could hear the defeat in her voice.
"Ok." Was all Akko could say. After all, if it was her parent in that position she would had no idea what she'd do or feel.
Soon the three were back at Lotte's place, when Yue approached him.
"I'm sorry." Said Yue confusing them.
"What for Yue?" Asked Akko worried. Did they not find their ingredient.
Yue said nothing as he looked behind him. Everyone followed his look and gasped. It was Sucy, but she was cover in moss.
"Sucy!" Cried out Akko in fear as she rushed over to her moss-covered friend.
"When did this happen?" Asked Akko looking at Yue.
"After we found the mushroom. She saw the moss forming on her and rushed back here as fast as she could." Yue told them as he wished he could have done something.
"Akko." Said Lotte in a low weak tone.
Akko looked at Lotte and gasped.
"Lotte!" Cried out Akko as Lotte too had moss on her.
"You have to make the antidote before it's all too late." Said Lotte weakly as she slowly walked over to Akko and gave her the book.
"Lotte." Said Akko as tears formed in her eyes.
"It's not just her." Said Kero as he had moss forming on him.
"Kero." Said Akko in a weak tone.
"Cerberus, I told you so many times your stomach would get you in trouble." Said Yue as his tone wasn't one of anger, but sadness.
"You two find the last ingredients. I'll stay here and watch over things as long as I can." Kero told them as both Akko and Yue knew that he was trying to help the best he could.
"What's left Akko?" Asked Yue curious.
"We need the capsule and the droppings." Akko told him as she then added. "But we have no idea how to find a reindeer."
"I see." Was all Yue said as the two thought about it.
"What about what you did to find that Author at the night fall event?" Asked Kero as he heard about hat happened.
"Do you think it can work?" Asked Akko curious as it was around noonish.
"We don't have many other options right now." Said Yue sadly as they didn't have time to fly around in an area they didn't know.
"Ok." Said Akko as she brought out SHADOW's card.
"SHADOW find me the shadow of a baby reindeer." Instructed Akko as she brought her staff to SHADOW's card as SHADOW appeared.
SHADOW just looked at Akko, making her sigh.
"I know this is a hard task. But look around. If we don't find that reindeer all these people will die." Akko told SHADOW as it looked at the moss-covered people.
It looked at them all and knew Akko was asking something huge from it. But at the same time, it knew Akko wouldn't ask her of this if she didn't believe in it. So SHADOW nodded it's head and seeped into it's shadow and went to work trying to find the reindeer shadow.
"And now we wait." Said Akko unaware that an orb on the Shiny rod was glowing.
Akko and Yue lost track of time waiting for SHADOW, but then out of no where it returned.
"Did you find one?" Asked Akko hopeful as SHADOW nodded it's head.
"Alright!" Cheered Akko as she quickly activated FLY and followed SHADOW.
As Akko and Yue followed SHADOW they soon came up to a forest as they had to be careful. As they followed Akko saw what looked like a teepee with reindeers around it. Then Akko saw a lone man sitting there. He wore grey pants with drown boots. He wore a blue jacket with a red blet around his waist. He also wore a blue hat that split into four directions with a red bottom.
"Hello!" Yelled Akko as the man turned and saw her.
"What?" Said the man confused as Akko landed in front of him.
"Excuse me. But are you, Nicholas?" Asked Akko hoping it was him. But the man looked at Akko curiously until he saw the staff in Akko's hand.
"Are you a witch?" Asked the man curious.
"Yes." Answered Akko as she then quickly explained the situation.
"I see. I hoped that a day like this would never happen during my time." Said Mr. Nicholas with a long sigh.
"But luckily, we have a medicine that will speed things along." Mr. Nicholas told them making them smile.
In no time at all Akko had a jar of the reindeer dropping she needed.
"Thank you so much." Said Akko as she just needed one more ingredient.
"Mr. Nicholas do you know where a yeti who can make a medicine capsule is?" Asked Akko hoping he would know.
"Yes. He lives over at that mountain." Mr. Nicholas told Akko as he pointed at a mountain.
The problem was it was far away from them, and they had no idea where the Yeti could be.
"It's so far." Said Akko as she didn't know where to begin looking.
"You can hitch a ride on this." Said Mr. Nicolas as she pointed to a sled already hooked up to a reindeer.
"Thank you so much." Said Akko as that would save them a lot of time.
"Indeed, thank you." Agreed Yue as the two took off.
As they rode Akko knew she had to say something to Yue.
"Yue." Started Akko with a worried look on her face. "If I start to be covered by moss, it will be on you to finish the cure."
Yue looked at Akko as he knew she was being serious.
"I understand. But let's hope it doesn't come to that." Said Yue as they continued on.
Some time later the reindeer stopped in front of an igloo with a chimney attached to it.
"I wasn't expecting this." Said Akko honestly.
"It looks normal for a yeti lodging to me." Said Yue as the chimney was new.
Hearing that Akko said nothing as she went to the door and knocked on it. But she heard nothing, so she knocked a few more times.
"Is he not home?" Asked Akko worried.
That was when someone touched her shoulder making her jump. Akko then turned around and saw a yeti there, strangely wearing jeans.
"Sorry to disturb you." Said Akko as she bowed to the yeti.
"We need your help." Yue told the yeti who tilted his head curiously.
The yeti then let them in revealing that his home had a couple chairs, a bed, and a workshop.
"We need a medicine capsule. Can you make us one?" Asked Akko as the yeti could hear the fear and desperation in Akko's voice. Knowing that she really needed one the yeti agreed to make one.
"Really, thank you." Said Akko as the yeti got to work.
As the yeti worked Akko felt that the nightmare of this situation would be over soon.
As the yeti worked on the capsule Akko was amazed by what she saw. The yeti was working with such hot alloys and such, something she didn't think a yeti could handle. And then to cool things off he would breathe cold air on them.
"Wow." Said Akko as she watched the yeti work.
"It is indeed a sight to behold Akko." Said Yue. "In Clow Reed's time yetis were known to be the best craftsman around. People from all over would come to them for their crafting needs."
"Amazing." Said Akko as she never knew that.
As the two talked the yeti heard what they said and had a sad look on his face. He then stopped surprising the two.
"Is everything ok?" Asked Akko worried.
The yeti then brought out his phone, something neither were expecting, and brought up a post. Confused the two looked at it and realized the problem. People online were being awful to him.
One post was: 'To the yeti. You are just the worst. Your work is terrible. Die in a fire'.
Reading that Akko and Yue felt bad for the yeti.
"I'm sorry yeti. But these people are nothing more then cowards. They hide behind usernames and the internet instead of telling it to your face directly. And do you want to know why?" Said Akko as the yeti looked at her confused.
"They're jealous of you. They can't do what you do so they do this to make themselves feel better. I watched you working. You were amazing dealing with such temperatures. Something I know I could never do." Akko told the yeti making him look at her.
Akko and Yue said nothing as they could see the yeti thinking about it. The yeti looked down at his phone and saw nearly all the reviews were with the guest function. A function that allows people to send multiple reviews instead of one. The yeti wanted to scream for missing that. For all it knew all these reviews were from the same person.
With a renewed passion for his work the yeti got back to work.
"You have a way with words, Akko." Said Yue proud to call Akko his master.
"I just told him the truth. Nothing more, nothing less." Said Akko though a part of her did wounder something.
This was the second time she had to help reinvigorate a person's passion for their work. What was wrong with society if a girl like her has to help adults find their passion again after the reviews of the world put them down.
But her thoughts were broken when the yeti presented the capsule to them. Akko smiled as she looked at a star shaped capsule with an eye at the centre. And at the top was a little sprout.
"Thank you." Said Akko as she bowed to the yeti. The yeti then bowed to her as they both smiled at each other.
"Akko we need to move." Said Yue as Akko agreed with him.
"Bye." Said Akko as they left the yeti's home.
But when they got outside, they saw the reindeer was gone.
"Do you think it went home?" Asked Akko worried about the reindeer.
"Probably." Said Yue as there was no signs of a struggle and they would have heard something.
"Then we'd better hurry back." Said Akko as she activated the FLY card.
"Agree." Said Yue as the two took to the air.
But as they started to fly, it started to snow. Nothing bad or heavy, but it gave them a bad feeling.
But then out of nowhere one of Akko's wings wouldn't flap.
"AAhhh." Cried out Akko as she started to fall.
"Akko!" Cried out Yue as he transformed back into his real form. He then caught Akko as she deactivated FLY.
"Akko are you ok? What happened?" Asked Yue worried.
Akko said nothing as she was looking at her hands. Worried Yue followed her gaze and saw moss was starting to form on her hands.
"I'll hurry up." Was all Yue said as he increased his pace.
Akko said nothing as they were so close now.
Soon they arrived back at Lotte's place. Without saying anything they both rushed into the house. Yue gathered the ingredients, while Akko read what she had to do.
"Mix the ingredients until it turns a bright rainbow color. It is now ready to cook. The mixture will start to harden right away, so keep stirring until the color changes." Read Akko as Lotte's mother had everything she needed. Expect for a stirring stick. That was when Akko saw the Shiny rod as something told her to use it.
"Akko, I have everything you need." Said Yue as Akko nodded.
They then went to the backyard as they saw everyone still where they left them. The two stopped as they saw Kero was now fully covered in moss.
Yue then put a burner and pot down as Akko poured the ingredients into the pot. With the flames going strong Akko had a determined look on her face. But Yue looked on in worry as more moss had grown on her face covering her cheeks and nose.
Akko stirred the pot with the Shiny rod as she refused to let anyone die from this disease.
As Akko stirred, she saw an orb on the rod glow like the others did when she reached to point for the words.
"Mayenab Dysheebudo!" Said Akko as the liquid pot turned into a rainbow color. The Shiny rod then grew and changed until it was taller than any off the houses in the town. And the Shiny rod's top now looked like a sprinkler.
Then the sprinkler started to spin as it sprayed the cure all over the town. Akko watched as the moss on her vanished as she looked at the others. They too returned back to normal.
"What just happened?" Asked Sucy as the last thing she remembered was getting the mushroom.
"Wow. What a rush." Said Kero as he rubbed his head.
"It's good to have you back Cerberus." Said Yue with a small smile.
All over the town people were returning back to normal as the cure was even getting through walls into houses curing those inside.
Once free of their mossy prisons everyone cheered and celebrated.

Luna Nova
A few days later everyone was back at Luna Nova, they told their friends about what happened.
"Wait so you're telling me this disease only appears when, like 50 other odd things happen at the same time?" Asked Amanda as that felt like a far-fetched story to her.
"I know right." Agreed Kero.
"I understand what your saying Amanda. But sometimes it's diseases like that one are the most dangerous." Said Diana as she read about those types of diseases.
"It must have been terrifying feeling the moss grow on you." Said Barabra as that was something she had no idea what would feel like.
"Truth be told I don't remember what it was like." Said Sucy as she couldn't remember it.
"I think you should all be grateful for that." Said Yue as neither Sucy nor Kero could argue that.
"Akko! Look at this." Said Lotte as she rushed over to the others with a newspaper in her hand.
"What is it Lotte?" Asked Akko curious.
"It's the article they wrote about what happened." Said Lotte showing it to them all.
The title read 'New master of Clow cards saves town'.
"Wow." Said Akko in awe.
"It goes on how you helped save the town. But at the same time stating you said you would have never been able to do it without my mother finding what the problem was. Or without our help you would never have gotten the ingredient in time. You even mention the expert crafting of the yeti as well." Summarised Lotte as Akko looked at the paper.
"Why did you give credit to all of them?" Asked Hannah confused. This would have been a great way to increase her reputation.
"Because that's who Akko is." Said Kero with a warm smile on his face. "She would never take credit when it wasn't her doing."
"And that's why I like you Akko." Said Amanda as she remembered when Akko praised her flying skills as the reason they caught DASH when it went wild.
"Amongst other reasons." Added Diana as the girls agreed with her.
Akko smiled as she was glad that the ordeal was now over. And even more so as she now had four words unlocked. And when she unlocks the other three, she will open the doors to a new age of magic.
And now Akko has unlocked four words. To be honest I could have unlocked this word a long time ago. Like I said earlier my Akko is different form cannon Akko. My Akko had to do dozens of stakeouts for capture the cards and other similar things. That would have taught Akko patience much sooner.
And I know some of the things I did might be counted as being impatient but I rather think as it as work arounds.
Until next time.
