As lily walked downstairs she could hear the whispers, of the students. She blushed trying not to let it show on her face, but that idea was clearly squashed when James slid up next to her, wrapping an arm around her and whispering, "I think they enjoyed the show Evans, whatdyou say?"

Before she could answer she was interrupted by a voice, one she recognized as benji Fenwick, say "Oy, Potter, Evans enjoy yourself?" he snickered. Lily turned to look at him and the rest of James' quidditch team, next to him sat, Anthony Wood, Fabian Prewitt, Emmeline Vance, and Marlene McKinnon, Lily's best Friend, who smirked at her and motioned quite an inappropriate motion. "As a matter of fact I did fenwick, although I'm sure you all heard for yourslefs, considering I'm a bit of a tosser and forgot the silencing charms" James grinned back. At this point almost all of the common room had turned to hear what was going on, even the first years.

"James" Lily hissed "stop it, or god help me, I will never have sex with you again" James promptly shut his mouth, while his teammates laughed at him. When Lily turned with James to leave, she heard a voice "Going to go at it again aye?" Marlene asked.

God she loved Marlene so much but sometimes she was just way too much. Lily sighed "No Marls me and James, have been called to speak with Mcgonagall" Marlene started laughing so hard she fell over. "What? What's so funny about that?" Lily demanded. "You-you got caught by Minnie" she managed to spit out, before bursting into laughter again, along with the rest of the team. Lily rolled her eyes "Haha, very funny Marls, now we have to go see you later" Lily stuck out her tongue and scampered out the portrait along with James.

Lily wondering why he wasn't speaking, asked him why, when he didn't answer she remembered "James you can talk now you dolt" she rolled her eyes, before laughing. "My bad, Lils just didnt want my privileges taken away" he winked at her and strolled up ahead. "Y'know Evans this isn't entirely my fault, you could've cast the charm too" he paused "Oh but wait, you were too caught up in my handsome face, and toned arms, and long thick c-"

"James" lily exclaimed blushing.

"Oh, don't act like it's not true love" he said winking once again. Just as Lily was about to retort, they reached the entry to Mcgnogall's office. It was two large brass doors, with gold handles, and a large gold plaque with the words, 'Prof. Mcgonagall'.

"Ready" James asked Lily half joking, half serious. "Ready as I'll ever be" Lily exhaled as James slowly turned the gold knob. Inside was a small round office, with bookshelves, and a large desk sat in the middle, with a couch facing it. On the desk sat a black cat, with surprisingly calm eyes.

Transforming back into a cat, Mcgonagall landed in front of them, instructing them to sit. She picked up her wand and cast a spell, to make a piece of parchment float before their eyes. Reading it quickly Lily could make out the words, 'Think someone hurt, I can hear loud groaning and moans, from the seventh boy dormitory' labeled anonymous. Lily promptly turned bright red and James snickered. Casting a quick exasperated look toward him, Lily quickly recentered her attention to Mcgonagall.

Clearing her throat she began "Now, I think that this note is a explanatorious reason, for why we are here today." After a few long moments of silence, in which Lily wished she could just sink into the ground right then and there, Mcgonagall cleared her throat loudly again, and shouted "Well!?"

Regaining her composure quickly, Lily began "Professor, we are deeply sorry for damaging the ears of the little children" Lily winced, realizing it sounded worse that way. "Yes well, I hope you are more careful about this situation next time, agree?" She said smirking a bit, surprising Lily and making James chortle, from where he sat next to her. "Oh, yes Minnie, don't you worry I'll cast a silencing charm next time" he said glancing toward Lily with a smirk. "Yes, yes get out of my hair, and I suggest you apologize to the rest of the Gryffindor house, on your behalf"

Opening the door James let them out, thanking Mcgonagall. As soon as the door shut, Lily suddenly started asking questions. But the most asked one was most certainly "Was she smirking?!"
