Happy ninth anniversary Zootopia can't believe it's been that long and next year it will be ten. Only 266 Days 12 hours and whatnot minutes and seconds until Zootopia 2 LOL
A few days have passed since Officer Hopps has taken over the Underworld Killer case. Such news has mixed reactions. Of course, prey has been on her side. Even if they don't believe in her, a prey should take down an evil predator. They won't defend a predator like predators would even those they would do it if it were prey. There's a chance but the majority believe it's a predator, for we have the predator drive to act like we once were in the Stone Age. Even those prey can do the same thing. They can't see that since we have fangs and claws. So predators are likely to be savage. It just shows how some prey views us. But we don't let it weigh us down.
Nick and I are sitting by a cherry blossom at the park having fun. Nick and I want to talk privately, so Grandmother Forester is watching our kits. They're having a lot of fun.
"I can't believe that Judy took the case.' I say
I found out after Nick told me that he ran into Judy again. Thinking that he knows Ruby Redfur because he's a red fox. She would hate it if someone did that to her. Judy is lucky that Nick is a nice mammal and hasn't run into predators who would snap at her.
"Yeah, she has this naive and bigot view about solving the case," Nick said
"I have seen that she wants you to commit a crime to get back at you," I say
Judy shows her bigot side and wants Nick to commit a crime. Or me so she can get her payback that way. Nothing too serious and we're not worrying. We know Judy won't get her way. I suppose she would show it. I always thought she had this naive look about being a police officer. This case will show her the real side of being a police officer.
"I won't let that happen for I'm law following fox," Nick said playfully.
"Of course," I say
I roll my eyes at his bad attempt at a joke and he gives me his playful smirk. I kiss him on the cheek. Of course, we are for we're good mammals. Many can't believe we have no record or parking tickets. They think we have to do something for we're shifty foxes. We want to show what we're capable of and maybe things can change for mammals like us.
"If we're right I'm going to help her out," Nick said
"Of course, we will be," I say
Nick and I bet that Judy will ask Nick for help. We know that she has officers who could and would help her out. But her wanting to solve the case she will ask Nick for help. She'll be the officer who solved the Underworld Killer case.
"Anyway, you want to see if you can solve the case before her," I say "Also to give foxes and other mammals like us a better chance."
"Guilty," Nick said, "she can be taken down a peg. I want that for our kits."
I knew that was the case he wanted Judy to realize the truth. She's not his hotshot police officer she won't solve this case alone. Yeah, we want that for our kits and other kits. It's what we should have like other mammals do.
"That's why I love you, " I say
We kiss each other again and we get up. Nick helps me up for I'm going to struggle with this extra weight. I don't mind getting the extra help when I need it. We're going to tell our kits what's going to happen. For they have the right to know about what's happening. They're old enough to know what ZPD does and would be excited that Nick will help out ZPD. That he's going to help out Judy Hopps. They like her for she became the first rabbit officer. Our younger kits don't truly gasp Judy's bigotry. They think it's cool that a rabbit became a cop, We're glad that they feel that way. I hope Judy's bigotry doesn't affect them too much. She's going to show it I have a bad feeling about that. I hope the outcome isn't too bad.
"Are you done with your boring adult talk so you can play?" Morgan asked
"Yes we can," Nick said
We'll tell them later once is going to happen. It's going to happen any day now. Right now it's time to play. Then we're going to have a wonderful dinner with Grandmother Forester. It's going to be a great dinner like always. Tonight we're going to have tacos with loaded nachos. A dinner that everyone loves. They also like helping make dinner. A skill we're going to teach each kit of ours. Even if they wouldn't truly grasp the art of cooking, knowing how to cook is better than having no skills. Like the Icenhowler's wanted me to have so I couldn't live alone. We don't want us for our kits. They deserve to try and get help if they need it. So we play with our kits and have a wonderful time with our kits.
We're at Grandmother Forester's apartment we eat dinner here when the time comes. We do the same with Nick's parents. The apartment soon will be filled with a wonderful scent of tacos. Grandmother Forester has set things up to cook. Our kits are excited to make some tacos. Of course, they made them before. But they get excited each time they cook. They're going to be great little chefs or bakers.
"Already let's make some dinner," Soren said
They have a little system that works out for them. It's going to change in the following years as they get older. As they gain new skills. Morgan washes the vegetables and fruit we're going to have. While Kari and Virgil cut the fruit and vegetables. Soren and Percy cook the meat. Having two different ones one for tacos and the other nacos. Nick and I get everything set up for dinner. I also make some fresh guacamole. You can't have tacos without it. Grandmother Forester gets out cups and drinks for us to have. They can have what they want to drink. We make sure they have something healthy pop not going hurt once in a while. Once the vegetables are cut Morgan places them in a bowl. We have a lot of cheese to choose from. We're huge cheese lovers in this family. The nachos are going to have mild spicy cheese sauce and salsa. I can pawdle a little spicy. Nick can and Percy likes spicy food as well. That's something they can enjoy. Soon the air filled with the smell of yummy tacos. There's a line for food from youngest to oldest once everything is ready. It works well that way and doesn't take long. They start with two tacos and can have more if they want. The adults and our older kits have three tacos. My hard shell has almost everything on it other than jalapenos and olives. A bit of sour cream I like that alone now. I have four hard-shell tacos. Having a lot of cheese for I love it. Not all cheese but the majority of it. I take a bite of one of my tacos and it's so good.
"Fantastic tacos," I say
"Yes it is," Nick said
"Yep you're rising to be great chefs," Marissa said
Our kits smile at that and they will be great chefs. Take another bite of my taco and eat some nachos which taste great as well. It's a great dinner like the majority of the time. Sometimes dinner doesn't go according to plan. For cooking isn't a hundred percent. We all have made mistakes in cooking and baking. I eat some of my sliced apples and some raspberries. Nick has a bowl full of blueberries. He eats a pawful of blueberries.
"We're glad to hear that," Morgan said
"Yes we're starting to get…know…how to make tacos well," Kari said, "Maybe next time we can make tacos differently."
"Oh like spaghetti." Virgil signed
"Yes that would be something fun to do," Soren said
Yes, tacos can be made in different ways and I would love taco spaghetti. For I love spaghetti and tacos. That would taste great together. We'll have to try that soon. Maybe our next spaghetti night. We have a lot for we all enjoy spaghetti and there are a lot of sauces to choose from. Taking more bites of my food.
"Then you'll have my pie for dessert," Marissa said
"Yes, pie is great!" Morgan said
Grandmother Forester makes great pies that we all enjoy. I always look forward to pumpkin pie during Thanksgiving. For Grandmother Forester makes a great one. I do know the recipe but Grandmother Forester will make the pies. For that's what she loves to do. Grandmother Forester is healthy for her age. I know we have many more years to enjoy with her. Today we're going to have some yummy mint chocolate mint. Which is a yummy pie to have. I can't wait to have some. So we enjoy our dinner and talk.
"Alright time for pie!" Marissa said
That makes everyone excited and the pies look great. Of course, Grandmother Forester always makes great pies. Grandmother Forester makes sure that the pieces are almost equal. So there are no fights about who gets the bigger piece. They can have a bigger piece if it's their birthday. They're fine with that. Each kit gets its piece of pie and they have been cut neatly. Maybe I can do it someday, and Nick does a good job with it. So he's the one to cut stuff. Our kits are learning too and I know they'll do better than me, I take my piece and I like eating the crust first. For I still don't like crust. I can eat some crust not on bread for it's still gross. Pizza still depends on the crust. The soft crust I will eat first. I get looks but I don't mind. Morgan doesn't like the crust on bread either. So she enjoys her subs.
We don't make them eat what they don't like. The Icenhowlers did that and I won't make the same mistakes. We all have foods we don't like and nothing wrong with that. Luckily they have few foods they don't like. Nick and I believe you should look forward to dinner and not dread it. I hate when I hate to eat mashed potatoes. There was nothing I could do about it. We don't want our kits going through that. We're not bothered if that gets us looks. I take a bite of the pie and it's great. Pies like this are better than pumpkin. Which we have on Thanksgiving. We have these pies when we feel like it.
"It's delicious like always Grandmother Forester," I say
"Thank you, my lovely granddaughter," Marissa said
Her French silk pie is indeed fantastic and she could sell it if she wanted to. The time she does it when there's a fundraiser. Her pies make a lot of money. She also makes yummy cookies and brownies. She still figuring out how to make a good cookie cake. For Virgil likes that more than cake. Cookie cakes are yummy if you do them right. I like it when it's soft, not crunchy. Soft cookies are great. Of course, fresh chocolate meting cookies are the best. Thinking about cookies makes me want to bake some with our kits. It's been a while since we baked cookies. We like to do that daily it's a fun activity we do together. We bake all sorts of cookies and still get them from our favorite bakeries. We like helping out small businesses like ours. We have a favorite and they love ours. So we help each other out all the time. I enjoy taking photographs of their events and food. They think getting photographs and art from us is the best. They're also good mammals and friends of ours.
"So how's school going for you?" Marissa asked
"It's good," Percy said
"Yeah it's good but math still sucks," Soren said
Percy will open up we just have to wait when he wants to. I agree with that math statement I still can't do math well. Luckily Nick can and helps me out. Other kits seem to gasp it well. I'm glad that they don't have to struggle, for it sucks when you can't do math. Grandmother Forester is great at math and helped me out even when the Icenhowlers didn't want me getting help.
"That's understandable," Marissa said "Math can be difficult."
"School is going well and I'm learning a lot," Virgil signed
"School is a lot of fun," Morgan said
"I like learning about history," Kari said
History was a favorite of mine I love learning about history. I was also good at it. If we don't learn our history we can make the same mistakes. I take another bite of my pie. As we finish our pies we talk to each other.
Serenity and I are at this large wedding and I find it a waste to have large weddings like this. How does someone know two hundred mammals? That's a lot of money to put into a wedding. I would find it too crowded. Serenity doesn't like it as well. But we have a job to do. It's paying good money. The bride is demanding and rude. I know brides and grooms want their weddings to be perfect. But they don't have to be disrespectful to others. Serenity and I have been taking a lot of photographs. Serenity and I are taking a lot so she isn't demanding about the photographs. There's going to be lots of picture-perfect pictures. She can't complain about our great photographs. I take more photographs and Serenity is taking photographs elsewhere. They also chose an expensive wedding venue. Nick and I could never afford this place. Nor would we put so much money into it. The Aquamarine Treasure Hotel is one of Zootopia's fancy and expensive hotels. Nick and I could stay a few nights if we wanted to. It's a five-star hotel; they don't care for mammals like us. They don't think we're worthy of such hotel status. If you want to rent it for a wedding costs 320,594 dollars. With that kind of money, we can have world worldwide trip. We hope to do that someday with our kits. They love hearing about our stories about traveling. They want to travel the world someday as well. We have to be careful with Morgan. We hear stories that airlines don't treat wheelchairs well. It's why Evie and Manfredi have their violin and cello as their add-ons. Instruments are also not treated well hence why I keep my cameras with me.
"I wonder how it feels to be this rich," I say
I have wondered what it's like to be rich I know I wouldn't be spoiled. I would help so many with my source of money. Making sure that I'm not being used. Still wouldn't live in a mansion but would have a pool. I would swim every chance I get for I still love swimming. I would spend hours if I could. I tap my belly we're teaching our son or daughter swimming as soon as possible. First starting as being able to float. That can be life-saving and just in case our son or daughter is Autistic like me. That they're attached to the water like I am. The water is so beautiful and calling. I take more photographs of the wedding. Mammals seem to be enjoying their time. That's a good thing and I walk around to take more photographs. A few minutes later I see the bride and she's a bobcat. Her wedding dress isn't that outrageous, it does look expensive. It's a beautiful silk dress with gemstones and it's sleeveless. Something I wouldn't wear. I don't like silk.
"Fix the flowers, they're not right!"
There's a lot of flowers about and they're costly flowers. I see that one vase is slightly different. One of the peonies has slightly tilted over to the right. That's totally a minor nitpick and one of the Bobcats fixes the flowers. I walk over to her and she gives me a smile. I took a bunch of photographs of her. Along with the flowers and the Bobcats around.
"I hope you're doing your job you're paid for," she said "or you're going to get a bad review."
"Of course, we're taking hundreds of photographs," I say
I want to roll my eyes at her for her rudeness. We always do our jobs well and we want to give out the best photographs and artwork. She smiles at me and I don't like it. We were told to take hundreds of photographs almost to capture the whole wedding. I wonder what she's going to do with all the photographs we're taking. She wants all the great ones. It's going to take a lot of photo books as she wants it.
"I'll be back with my bridesmaids to take more pics!"
I have seen them around and Serenity has taken photographs of them. They're all wedding shades of orange and yellow. The bride and groom told us they love sunsets and sunrises. I think that's a new idea. I love sunsets and sunrises. I have taken many photographs of beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The Aurora Borealis is my favorite. I love taking photographs of them. Serenity waves at me taking photographs of the other guests. I look back at the bride and I see a beautiful wave of oranges and yellow it does look like sunset or sunrise. It's going to make a fantastic photograph. They head over to this fancy water fountain. One of them is wearing pale yellow dress with silver jewels. Nothing to fancy she must be maid of honor. They get ready for the photograph and I hold out my camera. I tell them to say something and I take the photograph.
"Sunset," I say
They say that and I take a few photographs. When I hear a splash I look to see that the maid of honor has fallen into the water fountain. They look at her with displeasure. What happened over there? The bride looks over at her.
"How dare you try to upstage my wedding. I gave you a pass on the whitish dress for my wedding dress is better. But now you tried to ruin it and get my second one. Which a simple one so you can upstage me."
The maid of honor looks defeated. Whitish dress that's crazy you can tell it's a yellow dress. Even at a distance, you can tell it's yellow. The dress isn't like a wedding dress it only has a few silver jewels nothing to fancy. Her wedding dress is still more fancy and expensive. I look at my camera and even in photographs, it's yellow. Others hear the noise and they come over here. The groom comes over to see what's wrong.
"Honeyboo she tried ruining my wedding dress,"
The bride says that in an annoying sweet voice and she bats her eyes. Geez I heard that once and never want to hear it again. The groom doesn't look too happy to be here. The bride holds his arm. I would feel the same way he is. I look at my camera and see the truth. The maid of honor did no such thing. The bride pushed her into the water fountain.
"The dress is yellow and you pushed her."
I hold out my camera and head over to the groom. I show him the photographs of what happened. The bride has this look that could kill if looks could do that. I can see why she would choose that dress. The groom looks annoyed when he sees the photographs.
"Of course, you would sink that low. I dealt with all the nonsense you threw planning our wedding. It's over Bessie I have given you too many chances."
The groom helps the maid of honor from the ground and they leave. I would imagine that they know each other. Bessie looks like she's going to burst and there are whispers. I wonder if the other bridesmaids were a part of it. I can't tell since I don't know them. Then she goes on a rant like Bridezella would and I walk away. Making sure that I don't laugh I'm now the job and Serenity sees me. Getting what happened and we get ready to leave.
"Geez I heard her somewhat and she's going to be kicked out and banned." Serenity
"Yeah she's loud and yep she broke a rule," I say
This hotel is uptight about the rules; if you break them, you pay for them. Making a scene is against the rules and she's going to pay for it. Serenity and I gather our stuff. Speaking of pay we're still going to get our normal pay. The bride well I guess no longer a bride wouldn't do that. But he would for he got class.
"Another one for us," Serenity said
"Yeah, some mammals get crazy around weddings," I say
This isn't the first or the last for stories like this don't end. I don't mind for they make for fun stories to listen to. It only takes a few minutes to pack up our stuff and head back to the car. Now we have time to spend since our job ended early. We could go back and wait until our job is over.
"Let's get some boba tea,' Serenity said
"That sounds good," I say "Also let's get snack pies."
We do enjoy boba tea and we can get some for them as well. There are different boba tea places we can go to. Boba tea is popular in Zootopia and you can get one in each district. We're going to the nearest one. We enjoy snack pies from different companies, like the snack pies from Swik Trip. There are many Swik Trips in Zootopia a popular convenience store. Serenity gets in the passenger seat and I take the driver seat. Starting up the car a few moments later and taking off.
We gather up our Boba tea and snack pies. There were lines so we had to wait for a few minutes. But now we're back at our business having a little break, eating snack pies, and drinking boba tea.
"Wow, that was so rude," Nick said, "Mammals can be so crazy."
"I could never be like that," Kami said
"My wife wanted a simple wedding, and that's what we had," Rory said. But we had a big party with great food and entertainment."
"That sounds like a lot of fun," I say
"It was a lot of fun," Rory said
Rory has a happy look on his face. There's a sad look but he's happy. We're glad that he's doing well. That he's able to talk about his past. Of course, it still hurts like it's always going to. I know I would be a wreck if I lost Nick and our kits. Nick told me he would be a con artist without us. I can see that happening for him. Without us, he would be what others view foxes as shifty and untrustworthy. That breaks my heart and I hope that never happens. I know we're going to have a happy long life. I touch my stomach and I'm not worried about my pregnancy. My family doesn't have issues and giving birth isn't that painful. I take a bite of my snack pie and it still melts in my mouth, These snack pies are good and I like them occasionally.
"We're glad to hear that," Serenity said
I finish up my snack pie and boba tea. Our break will be over in a few minutes. No clients came during this half hour, so we all took a break. I have a few more jobs today before we close. Nick has been working on a larger sketch that's turning out great. He's a talented artist. We take care of our trash. I head over to my desk and get ready for my next client. They want four of them, and they will replace ruined vacation photographs. That won't be hard to replace I can digitize Pawii backgrounds. Someday, we'll go again with our kits.
The door opens up, and a family of four comes in. They are a family of servals dressed up like they're in Pawi. The dad is wearing a red Pawiian shirt. The kits don't look too thrilled about their dad wearing his shirt in public. To many, they're not fashionable something that you wear during vacation and keep as a keepsake.
"Did you have to wear that in public?" the son asked
"Because Pawiian shirts are awesome." the father said
"On vacation, they are," the daughter said
"I agree with your father, we're so fashionable," Nick said
Nick gets up from his desk and shows off his Pawiian shirt. He shows it off like he's on a fashion show. The father loves that and he does the same. The kits groan and they're going to laugh about this later. The wife and I look at each other saying we love our dorky husbands.
"See he gets it," the father said
"That's because all you dads are dorky and don't know fashion." the daughter said
"We have our dad fashion," Nick said "only understandable by fellow dads,"
Nick and the father high paw each other. Nick thinks he so funny and he said it in a joking matter. He knew that he wasn't being that funny. Everyone does love that corny joke. I set up the camera and they get ready as well, I'm going to take six photographs. I take six different photographs. I'll edit them like their old photographs.
"We'll be back this great business." the mother said
"We look forward to it." I say
We love it when we get clients that come back. They're good and we look forward for them to coming back for more photographs or sketches. I head back to my desk to work on photographs. I upload the new photographs and make them look like they're on their vacation. That won't be hard to do. I work on the photographs and others for some time. Serenity, Kami, and Rory have finished for today. Nick is finishing up a sketch and I have two more clients for today. They're a couple celebrating their ninth anniversary. I know that Nick and I will last until we die. I hope that doesn't happen until we're old.
"Alright all finished," Nick said, "let's lock up and head to that garden."
"Sounds like a good plan to me," I say
Nick heads over to me and we kiss. I pick up the camera that I'm going to use. They want their photographs in this beautiful garden in the meadowlands. Nick and I hold paws as we head over there. Nick locks the doors and we head to our car. No parking ticket Judy would love to get us a parking duty. She's not a bad rabbit her bigotry clouds her judgment. Hopefully, that doesn't cause issues. I do fear she would do that not out of hate just being naive.
Nick and I have been to this garden so many times because I love flowers and he loves taking me there. Flowers here grow year round even in the dead winter. We head over to where the cherry blossoms are. Nick stands near sketching the blooming cherry blossoms. This is a beautiful place for photographs. I set up the camera and looked at the couple.
"Hello there it's nice to meet you Grayson's," I say "Also I congrats you on your wonderful marriage."
They're older than us by a few years. There's a male gray wolf and he's taller than Nick by a few inches. They also have similar builds and he wears a nice suit. His wife is White-Tailed Doe. She wears a beautiful pink dress. Something I wouldn't wear but I still enjoy the dress on others. She has roses in her right ear. Their names are Nate and Jennifer.
"It's nice to meet you Mrs. Forster and that must be your husband."
"That I am and congrats on nine years," Nick said
"Thank you we don't hear that a lot," Nate said
"We don't like that bother us for our love is true," Jennifer said
Nick and I understand why mammals think like that. Interspecies couples aren't viewed in a good light by many. Thinking about how mammals should stay pure by staying together. That predator and prey shouldn't be together. Especially if they hunted said prey like wolves and deers. Lions and gazelle or foxes and rabbits/hares. No such thoughts for today for it's a good day for them. Nick and I can tell that their love is true. Just like how our is true. So I take nine different photographs for their ninth anniversary.
