A/N: This story was originally Life Without You. I decided to scrap the whole story that was written already and start over from the very beginning. It has been over a year since I last updated anything, and when I reread it, some things didn't match up the way I wanted to go. Some scenes actually made me cringe so badly that I had to scroll away. I realized Rin and Sesshomaru were spending way too much time together on that fucking island. Especially a certain scene that happened close to when I stopped uploading. You may know the chapter I speak of. I am going to keep that scene in detail later on in the story. But it may happen somewhere else. I will know when I get to that chapter.
I've also decided that the title needed to change. It just didn't feel like it belonged to the story. It didn't match the meaning of the story. I hope you all understand. I have a feeling that you will. But please enjoy this newly updated version. I promise that this will be ten times better.

Prologue
Being a young adolescent of sixteen, I should be enjoying my junior year in high school, going out and having fun with friends, my best friends, with sleepovers, exploring the woods next to my home taking pictures of nature, or spending time in town, but not this time. I was moving to a new town… the city of Kagoshima, with a population of almost a million people. That's about two-hundred thousand more than Yamanashi. Though my old hometown was a mix of country and city, it was a home I loved since I moved there at a very young age from Tokyo. But everything changed after a certain day that I went out exploring to take pictures. A day that changed not just my life, but my families too.
