Today is the day of the Bon Voyage banquet, and the Ojamajos are eager to express their gratitude for its preparation. However, there's one problem—the menu is still unfinished! Determined to sort it out, they decide to head to Maho-Do to see Hana.
As they walk, a sudden scream pierces the air.
"Oh no, it's Hana! We better hurry!" urged Doremi.
Without hesitation, Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, Onpu, Momoko, and Pop sprint toward Maho-Do. When they arrive, they are met with a sight unlike anything they had ever seen before.
"WHAT IS THIS?!" Hana shouted in shock.
"I dunno, we better ask Majorika," said Doremi.
Lala stepped forward, holding a peculiar object. "The Sekai Passports have created something called the Magical Luggage."
"Magical Luggage?" the Ojamajos echoed in curiosity.
Majorika nodded. "Unlike ordinary suitcases, this one can store anything—regardless of size or quantity. As magical explorers, this will be extremely useful for all the artifacts you'll find on your journey." Her expression suddenly turned serious. "But listen carefully—WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T LOSE IT! OR ELSE—"
"Or else…?" Doremi gulped.
"If you lose it, the separation between worlds will remain, and Majotourbillon will not be able to reunite them." Majorika's tone was grave. "You remember what happened to Majo Avenir when she decided to stay in the human world, don't you?"
Doremi's heart sank as she recalled meeting Mirai Sakura, a former witch now living among humans as a glassblower. Because she could no longer reveal her true identity, she was forced to watch those around her age while she remained the same. Doremi had even learned the art of glassblowing from her. That encounter had deeply affected her, but she still held onto hope—if the worlds were reunited, she would finally be able to tell everyone that she was a witch and that magical beings like her were people too.
"We promise to keep the luggage safe, Majorika!" Doremi declared with determination.
"Good. Now then, I'll see you all at the banquet," Majorika replied.
With that, the Ojamajos took the Magical Luggage and left Maho-Do, wandering through the familiar streets of Misora.
After they were gone, Lala turned to Majorika with a hopeful smile.
"I do hope they bring back some souvenirs for us," she mused.
"I agree," Majorika chuckled. "I'm curious to see how the girls are doing in the countries they'll be visiting."
"We agree too!" the Ojamajos' fairies chimed in.
Meanwhile, in the streets of Misora, Doremi and her friends walked along the sidewalks, chatting as they strolled through town.
"Doremi-chan, do you think the banquet will be ready soon?" Hazuki asked.
"Well, Hazuki-chan, we'll just have to wait for now. But first, we need to buy some supplies for our journey," Doremi replied.
"Yeah! We can grab some Oy! Sodas, water, and other essentials," Aiko suggested.
"Good idea," Doremi agreed with a nod.
The Ojamajos headed into a local supermarket, grabbing a cart as they stepped inside. They wandered through the aisles, searching for everything they would need for their upcoming travels. Soon, their cart was filled with a large bottle of Oy! Cola, water bottles, sandwiches, prepackaged sushi, chips, candy, medicine, and other essentials.
After checking out, they stored all the purchased items in the Magical Luggage, ensuring they were ready for their journey.
"Alright, that should be everything," Doremi said, satisfied.
"But, Doremi-chan, shouldn't we stop by Misora Elementary to check if the banquet is ready?" Momoko reminded her.
"You're right!" Doremi exclaimed. "Let's go!"
With that, the Ojamajos hurried toward Misora Elementary.
However, when they arrived, they were met with an unexpected sight—the food hadn't even been prepared yet.
"What happened here?" Aiko asked, puzzled.
Looking around, the girls noticed that some of their classmates and others they had met in the past seemed anxious. Concerned, they approached them.
"Is something wrong?" Hazuki asked gently.
"Yeah, what's going on?" Onpu added.
Jun Sato, one of the SOS Trio, sighed. "We wanted to prepare some special dishes, but we're really nervous… What if we burn down the school's kitchen or make everyone sick?"
"Kanae, Susumu, Takeshi, Kazuya, and Aya were supposed to help us, but they're busy setting up the tables with the others," he continued.
"We've never cooked anything on such a big scale before," Masato Rinno admitted anxiously.
Kayoko Nagato stepped forward. "Would you mind lending us a hand with the banquet menu?"
The Ojamajos exchanged glances, knowing they had plenty of experience cooking gourmet dishes. After a brief discussion, they nodded in agreement.
"Alright, sure!" Momoko agreed. "We'd be happy to help! Please hand us the menu."
Their classmates and friends eagerly handed over the banquet menu. As the Ojamajos scanned the list, their eyes lit up—it was filled with their favorite foods!
"Sweet and spicy steak with stir-fried vegetables and salad, with a dressing of your choice?!" Doremi exclaimed. "My lifelong dream has finally come true!"
"Doremi, calm down. You'll get yours soon," Pop said, rolling her eyes.
"I know, Pop! But this is so exciting!" Doremi squealed.
Pop glanced at the menu again and noticed an interesting dish. "Earth Pudding? Huh… Wow! A pudding made from pudding mix blended with green and blue food coloring!" She grinned. "I'm totally digging this dessert. Hey, Hana, check this out!"
Hana peeked over Pop's shoulder and gasped in delight. "Hana-chan wants to try it!" she cheered. "It sounds so delicious!"
"Yes! Takoyaki!" Aiko grinned. "I never thought my friends would make takoyaki for the first time!"
"Egg waffles and charcoal crepes stuffed with bananas, peppermint candy, hazelnut spread, chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, and strawberry syrup?" Onpu read aloud. "Now that's a dessert worth looking forward to."
"Strawberry tartlets and madeleines in strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate flavors?" Momoko beamed. "Now that's a baker's heaven!"
"They're making matcha chiffon cake too? I love it," Hazuki added with a smile.
After reviewing the menu, they handed it back to their classmates.
"We have to admit, the menu is fantastic," Doremi said. "You really know our favorite foods! But excuse us—we need to change into our cooking outfits before we get started."
"Take your time!" Shinji replied cheerfully.
The Ojamajos headed to the kitchen storage room to get ready. As they changed into their cooking attire, they discussed how their past baking experiences could help them with preparing the banquet feast.
"Momo-chan, do you think we should wear our Pâtissière Uniforms for the cooking?" Doremi asked.
"Hmmm… we might, but we should contact the Queen about it first," Momoko replied thoughtfully.
"Remember, we can't reveal ourselves as apprentice witches," Onpu cautioned. "That would defeat the whole purpose of staying undercover."
"Yeah," Aiko agreed. "If people find out, they might mistake us for actual witches and react badly."
"Hana-chan is the only one here who's truly a witch, but she doesn't have a Pâtissière Uniform yet," Aiko continued. "Luckily, her Tap should be able to transform her into one."
"Hana-chan really wants to learn how to cook food properly!" Hana said excitedly.
"Should we get our Patraine Calls?" Hazuki suggested.
Doremi nodded. "Pop, can you grab the Magical Luggage? We need our Patraine Calls."
"Got it, Doremi," Pop responded.
She carefully unzipped the top of the Magical Luggage, revealing an endless void inside. As they peered in, they saw not just their snacks, food, drinks, medicine, mosquito spray, and sunscreen, but also their clothes for both warm and cold weather, their Sekai Passports, regular passports, and various travel essentials.
But that wasn't all—their magical items were also safely stored inside: their Taps, Magic Spheres, Rhythm Tap, Magic Seeds, a bag full of unlimited Royal Seeds, Parara Tap, Recipe Diary, Cologne Tap, Hana-chan's Tap, and even the Magical Accordion.
However, something caught their attention.
"Wait… some of our stuff looks different!" Doremi pointed out.
Their Royal Patraine Computer had transformed into a Sekai Touch Tablet, and their Patraine Calls had become Sekai Touch Calls. The Ojamajos grabbed the new devices, examining them curiously.
"Whoa! These have touchscreens now!" Aiko exclaimed.
As they explored their new gadgets, they noticed a variety of apps—clock, weather updates, camera, text messaging, social media, and more.
"For Hana-chan and me, this is our first handheld device ever!" Pop said excitedly, gripping her Sekai Touch Call.
Just then, a crystal ball-like light appeared at the bottom corner of the screen. Before they could react, a young girl's voice spoke, startling them.
"Wh-Who are you?!" Doremi stammered.
The voice responded smoothly, "Hello, Doremi. Hello, Hazuki. Hello, Aiko. Hello, Onpu. Hello, Momoko. Hello, Hana. Hello, Pop. My name is Spelli. I am your digital and magical assistant from now on."
The girls stared at the screen in awe.
"You can give me commands anytime," Spelli continued. "If you prefer, you can also turn me off or on as needed."
Spelli
Gender: Female
Species: Digital & Magical Assistant
Residence: Sekai Touch Calls and the Sekai Touch Tablet.
Voice: Inuko Inuyama
Personality: Always cheerful, intelligent and determine to help. She always speak politely in a playful tone.
Abilities: She can provide magical and digital assistance by offering guidance on spells, tasks and travel. She can display real-time infornmation.
"Hey, Spelli! Call the Queen," Doremi commanded, her voice filled with urgency.
"Calling Witch Queen…" Spelli responded, her tone neutral as her fingers danced across the virtual keypad.
The screen on Doremi's Sekai Touch Call lit up, displaying the Witch Queen's regal name, alongside a sleek virtual keypad. Doremi's heart raced as she waited for the call to connect.
After a few seconds of tense silence, the call finally connected, and the image of the Witch Queen's majestic castle appeared on screen. The walls of the grand castle were adorned with intricate tapestries, and the glow of magical candles flickered in the background.
"Welcome to the castle of Her Majesty. This call may be monitored for training and quality purposes," an automatic voice announced cheerfully.
And then—hold music.
It was a soft, melodic tune, but it seemed to stretch on forever as Doremi stared at the screen, her anticipation growing.
Meanwhile, in the Witch World, the Witch Queen, Wizard King, Majotourbillon, and Baba were gathered in the serene beauty of the Queen's Garden Gazebo. The air was sweet with the scent of blooming roses, and the sound of birds chirping filled the space as they sipped tea and nibbled on delicate biscuits. Their conversation had been deep and thoughtful, yet relaxing, when suddenly, a shrill ringing noise interrupted their discussion.
"Hold that thought—someone's calling me," the Witch Queen said, setting down her fine porcelain teacup with a soft clink.
She reached for an elegant rotary phone, the design on it as intricate as the Queen's own crown, and picked it up. "Hello?" she greeted, her voice carrying the same warmth as her smile.
"It's me, Doremi!" Doremi greeted eagerly, her voice bubbling with excitement and a hint of nerves. "I have a question for you."
"Of course, Doremi," the Witch Queen replied kindly, her tone soft yet commanding, a perfect blend of authority and affection. "Go ahead."
Doremi's eyes sparkled as she asked her question. "Is it okay for us to wear our Pâtissière Uniforms while cooking with our friends?" Her tone was hopeful, almost pleading. "We want to look our best while preparing the banquet."
The Witch Queen paused, placing a hand to her chin in thought. "Hmm…" she mused. "I'll need to discuss this with the Wizard King, Majotourbillon, Baba, and the Witch Senate first. Could you please hold on for a moment?"
"Sure!" Doremi replied, her eagerness not diminished by the wait.
With a wave of her hand, the Witch Queen placed the call on hold. As soon as the call was on hold, Doremi's Sekai Touch Call once again filled the air with hold music—this time with a slightly different tune, almost as if the universe itself had its own playlist for these moments.
While they waited, the Ojamajos, who had gathered around Doremi, decided to pass the time in their usual playful way. They pulled out their Sekai Touch Tablets and Sekai Touch Calls and began engaging in friendly competitions. From ping pong and chess to RPGs and racing games, there was no shortage of fun.
Hazuki laughed as Aiko made a ridiculous move in chess, while Pop and Onpu challenged each other to see who could get the highest score in a racing game. Hana, still new to these gadgets, giggled as she tried to figure out how to play a simple game of memory match.
After a few minutes, the Witch Queen returned to the call.
"Thank you for waiting, Doremi," she said, her voice steady and royal. "You may wear your Pâtissière Uniforms while cooking with your friends," she explained with a tone of finality, as if a great decision had been made. "However, please remember—you must not reveal that you are apprentice witches. This must remain a secret to your friends and classmates."
"Understood! Thank you, Your Majesty!" Doremi said cheerfully, a wide grin spreading across her face. She couldn't contain her excitement. "We'll make sure to keep our magical identities a secret!"
With that, Doremi ended the call, her heart lighter than it had been in days. She was relieved and ready to get to work.
"Alright, let's grab our Parara Taps," Doremi said, turning to her friends, her eyes shining with determination.
The Ojamajos all eagerly reached into their Magical Luggage, pulling out their Parara Taps and securing them carefully in place, ready for the transformation. The tiny compacts glimmered with magic, as if they were anticipating the change as much as the girls were.
"Hana-chan, you can use your Tap now too," Doremi encouraged, a gentle smile on her face.
"Yay! Hana-chan can finally cook now!" Hana cheered, her voice high with excitement as she grabbed her own Tap, her small fingers almost trembling with joy.
Once everyone had their Parara Taps ready, Doremi took a deep breath. "Okay, everyone. On three!" she said.
The Ojamajos clapped twice, and in a flash of magical energy, they were transformed into their vibrant Pâtissière Uniforms. The uniforms shimmered as they materialized—sleek white aprons with delicate ruffles, pastel-colored skirts, and matching hats. The outfits had a soft, elegant charm, with a touch of magical sparkle that only they could see.
Hana looked down at her new uniform, wide-eyed in awe. She twirled in place, the fabric fluttering like a butterfly's wings as she admired herself. "Wow, it's so pretty!" she gasped.
"Do you like it, Hana-chan?" Momoko asked with a gentle smile, her eyes soft with affection as she watched the younger girl's reaction.
"Hana-chan loves it! Thank you, everyone!" Hana beamed, her face glowing with happiness.
"Alright, let's head out," Doremi said confidently, her voice full of excitement as she led the way.
The Ojamajos stepped out of the kitchen storage room, and immediately, their classmates and friends took notice of their stunning new outfits. The room fell silent for a moment, as if everyone were trying to process what they were seeing.
"Wow! Where did you get those beautiful outfits?" Hiroko Kine asked curiously, her eyes wide with wonder as she approached the girls.
"We got them from a store," Aiko replied casually, as though it was no big deal.
"Oh, I see! Are they rare costumes or something?" Hiroko continued, clearly impressed.
"Yeah, something like that," Pop answered with a playful wink, her voice light and teasing. "But don't ask too many questions!"
"Alright, let's start cooking!" Doremi announced, her energy infectious. "But first—let's wash our hands!"
The Ojamajos and their friends hurried to the sinks, ready to begin their banquet preparations. They scrubbed their hands with soap and water, chatting excitedly about the delicious dishes they were about to create.
As the banquet preparations continued, the Ojamajos led the charge, bringing the menu to life with their magical flair. From the very first dish to the last, it was clear that everyone's efforts were working together in harmony to make something truly special.
Doremi's Group: Sweet & Spicy Wagyu Steak with Stir-Fried Vegetables and Salad
Doremi took charge with a warm, encouraging smile, guiding Jun, Yutaka Ota, Yuji Sagawa, and Toyokazu Sugiyama through the intricate process of cooking wagyu steak. She knew how eager the boys were to cook such a high-quality cut of meat, so she began by explaining the importance of marinating the beef to bring out the perfect balance of flavors. With her help, Yutaka carefully coated the steaks in a sweet and spicy BBQ sauce, ensuring that every piece was generously covered, allowing the sauce to work its magic as it seeped into the marbled beef.
While the meat marinated, Doremi moved on to the grilling process. She stood by Toyokazu, giving him gentle reminders to adjust the heat of the grill to a medium-high setting to sear the steaks evenly without burning them. Doremi emphasized the importance of patience, teaching him to check the steak's internal temperature periodically. She offered tips on how to achieve that tender, juicy texture without overcooking the prized wagyu.
Meanwhile, Jun busied himself with the vegetables. Doremi observed closely as he chopped tomatoes, onions, potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms, ensuring that each piece was sliced to a uniform size. She walked him through stir-frying them, adjusting the heat so they would caramelize beautifully while still maintaining their vibrant colors and texture. The scent of sizzling vegetables filled the air, making everyone's mouths water.
Yuji, ever the detail-oriented one, was entrusted with the salad. Doremi guided him through the delicate task of chopping fresh iceberg lettuce, crisp cucumbers, plump Romano tomatoes, and crunchy carrots into bite-sized pieces. As he worked, she explained the art of layering flavors, teaching him how to toss the ingredients together with just the right amount of olive oil and vinegar. Doremi smiled as he added the finishing touch: crunchy bread cubes, giving the salad a satisfying texture.
With everything prepared, the group worked together to plate the dish. Doremi laid down the perfect wagyu steak on each plate, placing the stir-fried vegetables beside it, their colors vibrant against the rich, dark brown of the steak. Lastly, they added the salad, the crisp greens offering a refreshing contrast to the warm, savory meal. The dish was a masterpiece, ready to be served.
Hazuki's Group: Matcha Chiffon Cake
In Hazuki's group, there was an air of calm and focus. Hazuki worked alongside Kayoko, carefully measuring out ingredients for their matcha chiffon cake. Hazuki took the lead, demonstrating the technique of mixing egg yolks with sugar, then sifting in the delicate matcha powder and cake flour, making sure that no lumps would form in the batter. Kayoko, her hands steady, mixed in the baking powder, ensuring everything was perfectly incorporated into a smooth, velvety batter.
Once the batter was ready, they turned to the egg whites. Kayoko carefully whipped the whites and sugar into a fluffy, cloud-like meringue, always mindful not to over-whip, as it could ruin the texture. Hazuki showed Kayoko how to gently fold the meringue into the batter, preserving its airy structure and creating the perfect balance between the lightness of the cake and the richness of the matcha.
With a sense of anticipation, they poured the batter into an ungreased chiffon cake pan, ensuring it spread evenly. The oven door shut, and they waited for 30 minutes as the cake baked at 340ºF (170ºC), the warm, earthy scent of matcha filling the kitchen. After the timer went off, Hazuki carefully removed the cake from the oven, her hands steady as she inverted the pan and let the cake cool.
When they finally took the cake out of the pan, they marveled at its soft, airy texture and vibrant green color. It was everything they had hoped for—a perfect matcha chiffon cake, ready to be served.
Aiko's Group: Takoyaki
Aiko, the expert takoyaki maker, confidently took the reins in her group, ready to teach Nobuko Yokokawa and Noriko Kano how to create the perfect takoyaki. First, she demonstrated how to cut the octopus into bite-sized pieces, skillfully removing any excess fat. She then showed them how to chop fresh green onions and pickled ginger into thin slices that would complement the dish's savory profile.
Next came the batter. Aiko guided Nobuko and Noriko through mixing the flour, water, salt, soy sauce, eggs, butter, and dashi powder until the consistency was just right—smooth but not too thick. Once the batter was ready, Aiko preheated the takoyaki pan, brushing it lightly with oil to prevent sticking.
The takoyaki pan sizzled as Aiko poured the batter into the compartments, carefully placing octopus pieces, green onions, pickled ginger, and crunchy tempura bits in each one. She showed them how to use skewers to turn the takoyaki 90 degrees with precision, ensuring each ball was evenly cooked. The key, she explained, was to add a little more batter as they turned the takoyaki, filling in any gaps and allowing them to cook evenly.
As the takoyaki turned golden brown and crispy, Nobuko and Noriko followed Aiko's example, flipping their own batches. Finally, they topped the crispy spheres with a generous drizzle of takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise, then finished them off with bonito flakes and seaweed flakes, watching them dance atop the hot takoyaki. The result was a perfect batch of takoyaki, ready to be served and devoured.
Onpu's Group: Egg Waffles & Charcoal Crepes
Onpu's enthusiasm was contagious as she guided Fumio through the process of making egg waffles. She demonstrated how to operate the egg waffle maker, ensuring Fumio understood how to pour the batter in carefully and avoid overfilling. As Fumio poured the thick batter into the machine, Onpu checked the temperature, reminding him to monitor the timer closely for the perfect golden-brown finish.
With the egg waffles perfectly crisped, Onpu turned her attention to Rie, who was ready to tackle a more adventurous creation—charcoal crepes. They mixed the batter together, carefully incorporating the charcoal powder to achieve the signature dark, striking color. Onpu showed Rie how to pour the batter onto the heated crepe maker, making sure the crepes were thin and even. As they cooked, they flipped them with precision, watching the edges curl and become lightly crisped.
Once the crepes were done, they spread them with a generous layer of smooth hazelnut spread and added a sprinkle of crushed peppermint crumbs for a refreshing contrast. Rie sliced ripe bananas and layered them on top, before drizzling the crepes with chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup, and caramel syrup in an artful swirl. With a steel spatula, Onpu carefully folded the crepes into neat, elegant triangles. Both the egg waffles and charcoal crepes looked stunning, ready to be served to their eager friends.
Momoko's Group: Strawberry Tartlets & Madeleines
Momoko and Sayaka, both seasoned bakers, had already finished their tasks and were arranging the freshly baked strawberry tartlets and madeleines with delicate care. The sweet, buttery aroma of their pastries filled the kitchen, inviting everyone to gather around and admire the beautiful treats. The tartlets were perfectly crisp, filled with a rich, creamy custard and topped with plump, juicy strawberries that added a burst of color. The madeleines, golden-brown and delicate, were perfectly fluffy and light, ready to be served with a smile.
Hana's Group: Earth Pudding
Meanwhile, Hana, Pop, and Tomomi worked on their unique dessert, the Earth Pudding. They carefully mixed blue and green food coloring into two separate bowls of vanilla pudding, creating distinct layers. As they poured the pudding into small serving bowls, the colors settled into perfect layers, forming a miniature, edible version of the Earth. The Earth Pudding was simple but delightful, an eye-catching treat that added a playful touch to the table.
After hours of teamwork, the entire banquet menu came together perfectly—just in time! The tables were laden with beautifully arranged dishes and desserts, each one showcasing the effort, creativity, and skills of everyone involved. The aroma of freshly prepared food filled the air, a satisfying reward for the hard work that had gone into the preparation. The Ojamajos stood back, taking in the sight of their masterpiece, the fruits of their labor.
Their classmates and friends beamed with gratitude, clearly impressed by the spread before them.
"Thank you so much for helping us, Ojamajos!" Jun said, his voice warm with appreciation, his eyes sparkling with joy.
"Yeah! Everything looks—and smells—amazing!" Kayoko added, her mouth watering at the sight of the delicious spread.
The Ojamajos exchanged glances, their hearts swelling with a deep sense of accomplishment. They'd put in the hours, worked as a team, and now, the fruits of their labor were about to bring joy to everyone present. Their hard work had paid off, and now, it was time to celebrate their upcoming adventure with a feast to remember.
"This looks amazing, I cannot wait to eat them all," Doremi said with a grin, practically bouncing in place as she eyed the desserts.
"Shall we hire waiters?" Momoko asked, her thoughts already turning toward the next step.
"Sure," Doremi replied, her enthusiasm undiminished.
Momoko then pulled out her Sekai Touch Call, her fingers quickly tapping the keypad as she made the call. The Ojamajos watched as she spoke into the device, a serious tone replacing her playful demeanor.
"Hello, is this the catering service?" Momoko inquired, her voice professional as she stood tall.
"Yes. This is the catering service. How may I help you?" came the operator's voice, calm and clear.
"Can you send us waiters? We're hosting a bon voyage banquet," Momoko explained.
"Sure," the operator replied without hesitation.
"Okay, but please warn the waiters that they are witches," Momoko continued, her voice lowering as she added a touch of secrecy. "We don't want anyone finding out what they truly are… you know what I mean."
"Thank you very much," she added before ending the call.
Almost instantly, a truck appeared from seemingly nowhere, its logo a curious blend of magical symbols that only the Ojamajos could truly understand. From the back of the truck, a group of witches—disguised as waiters—emerged, dressed in smart, crisp uniforms. They moved with a certain grace, their eyes twinkling with subtle mischief.
"Alright! Let's move!" shouted the catering supervisor, her voice commanding yet full of energy. She directed the waiters to carefully arrange the dishes, ensuring everything was set for the evening's feast. "We've got a banquet tonight. Place all the dishes on the big table."
"Oh, can you tell your friend to move somewhere else?" the catering supervisor asked, glancing over at the Ojamajos. "I need to cast a spell to keep the food fresh and multiply it at the same time."
The Ojamajos nodded in understanding, stepping back as the supervisor began her work.
"Everyone, you can await in the dining area. We will stay," Hazuki said, her voice calm and soothing, as she motioned for their friends to leave the kitchen.
Once their friends had stepped out of the way, the catering supervisor raised her hands and began murmuring an incantation. The air around the food shimmered with a faint glow, and within moments, the dishes were not only preserved but multiplied—enough to feed everyone in attendance, and then some.
"Okay," Onpu said, observing the magic in awe. "The supervisor has made sure the food is fresh, and she's multiplied it all at once. The waiters are now ready to serve the dishes for tonight."
"Should we take a walk while they finish setting everything up?" Aiko asked, her voice soft but curious.
"Sure," Doremi agreed, her expression lighting up at the idea of taking a break.
The Ojamajos decided to take a walk around Misora, soaking in the familiar sights before embarking on their grand adventure. They stopped by Sonatine Kindergarten, where Pop had once attended. She remembered fondly the day she, Hazuki, Aiko, and Onpu had helped Kimikata overcome his harsh attitude during the sports festival. Together, they'd completed a pyramid with his classmates, an accomplishment that had bridged gaps and created lasting memories.
They passed by the Misora Lagoon, where Hazuki and Momoko had often come to relax. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore filled the air, and the two of them took a quiet moment to reflect on what was coming next. Their upcoming travels, full of unknowns, seemed both thrilling and a little daunting.
Next, they strolled through the park, and Aiko paused to look at the view of Misora. She remembered the very first time she had arrived from Naniwa, Osaka—how she had found comfort on the monkey bars, her eyes filled with curiosity as she took in her new surroundings.
As they walked past the hospital, Onpu's heart skipped a beat. She remembered the time she had fallen into a coma after practicing forbidden magic. It had been a close call, but her friends had come to her rescue, saving her from what could have been an eternal sleep.
Finally, they made their way back to Maho-Do, just as the sun was beginning to set. As they arrived, they saw Majorika dressed in a beautiful, fancy dress, with Lala and the Ojamajos' fairies—disguised as humans—standing nearby. Their mentors had locked up the store for the time being, their faces showing a mixture of excitement and pride.
"Majorika, Lala, Dodo, Rere, Mimi, Roro, Mimi, Toto, and Fafa, where are you going?" Doremi asked, her voice filled with curiosity.
"We're going to your school for the banquet," Majorika replied, smiling. "We decided to come and celebrate with you all."
"We wanted to join everyone in wishing you the best of luck in your adventures," Lala added, her voice warm and full of love. "Besides, we have gifts to help support you on your journey."
"You are not alone. As your fairies, we will be right there with you, supporting you through it all," Dodo said, his tone firm and reassuring.
"Should we take you there?" Doremi asked, a sparkle in her eyes.
"Yes," Majorika replied with a nod, grateful for the offer.
The Ojamajos then led Majorika, Lala, Dodo, Rere, Mimi, Roro, Mimi, Toto, and Fafa on a walk to the school where the banquet was being held. As they arrived at the entrance of the makeshift banquet hall, a swarm of journalists from various media outlets appeared out of nowhere, flashing cameras and shoving microphones in their faces.
"Hello! Why do you want to travel around the world?" one reporter asked, her voice eager.
"What are your intentions in exploring outside of Japan?" another reporter added, their questions coming fast and furiously.
Meanwhile, in New York City, Beth was practicing her guitar at home when she saw her childhood friend, Momoko, appear on the television screen. She dropped her guitar in surprise, her heart racing as she recognized her friend. It had been so long since they last saw each other, and now Momoko and her friends were about to embark on a grand adventure.
She rushed downstairs to find her parents.
"Mom! Dad! Turn on the TV, my friend is on the news!" she shouted, excitement bubbling in her voice.
Back in Misora, the Ojamajos, Majorika, Lala, and their fairies walked through the grand entrance into the banquet hall. The space, transformed from the school's gym, had been magnificently expanded for the occasion, its walls adorned with shimmering white decorations that made the room feel like a dream. Lights twinkled from the high ceiling, bouncing off delicate ribbons that flowed from every corner, while clusters of balloons in various pastel hues floated overhead. In the center of the room stood a beautiful fountain, designed with a breathtaking Earth theme. Water cascaded from the globe of the fountain, the cool mist catching the light in a sparkling dance.
"Wow! This hall looks beautiful!" Hazuki exclaimed, her eyes wide with wonder. "No wonder why they wanted to go with a design like this. It's like something out of a fairy tale."
"This is very magical!" Onpu added, her voice filled with awe. She twirled, taking in the scenery. "It's perfect for such a special occasion."
"Indeed, it is beautiful," Majorika agreed, her gaze scanning the elegant setting. "And they've gone all out, haven't they? They even have waiters." Her brow furrowed in thought. "Who hired them? It's such a large event."
"We do?" Momoko asked, glancing over at the staff bustling around the room with trays of drinks and appetizers.
"Well, looks like we'll be in charge of this splendid banquet," Majorika said, a playful grin spreading across her face. She then nodded toward a group of familiar faces standing near the entrance. "Also, why are Hachitarou, Surumeko, and Atarimeko here?"
"I decided to hire them as mascots," Aiko responded with a proud smile, walking up beside them. "They'll be serving takoyaki and mingling with the guests as the meet-and-greet characters."
"Well, Ai-chan, at least you invited them to see us one last time before we leave Misora—and Japan in general," Doremi said, her voice softening as she thought about the time they had spent in their beloved hometown. "Anyways, we should probably head to our VIP seats."
The Ojamajos, Majorika, Lala, and their fairies began to part ways, heading toward their designated seats. The VIP area was nestled slightly above the rest of the guests, offering a panoramic view of the festivities below. As they approached, they noticed the FLAT4 already seated at a nearby table, their presence unexpected but not entirely surprising.
"Fujio, Leon, Akatsuki, Tooru, what are you doing here?" Doremi asked, her eyes narrowing with curiosity.
"We wanted to come and show our support," Akatsuki explained, his voice steady and sincere. "We know you're about to travel alone, and we wanted to reassure you that we'll be there in spirit, no matter where you go. The risks you may face, we understand. You can go ahead and take your seat now. We'll be fine here."
"Thanks for your support," Doremi said, her voice filled with gratitude. She smiled warmly at the group, a sense of comfort washing over her knowing they cared so much.
As the Ojamajos made their way to their seats, the atmosphere in the banquet hall shifted. The dimming of the lights signaled the start of the evening's official proceedings. The soft murmur of conversation gave way to hushed whispers as the spotlights flickered on, casting a golden glow across the room. All eyes turned toward the stage, where a figure stepped into the center, ready to kick off the celebration.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls!" called the master of ceremonies, her voice booming with excitement. The crowd fell silent, anticipation hanging in the air. "May I have your attention, please?"
Mutsumi Kudo, the familiar figure standing confidently at the podium, smiled broadly. Her energy was contagious, and the crowd couldn't help but feel the excitement rising within them. The night had just begun, and already it was shaping up to be something unforgettable.
at the crowd, her eyes glimmering with pride. "A night where we gather here in our school to celebrate something truly remarkable. A night where we come together as friends, family, and loved ones to honor those who have touched our lives in ways we can never forget. Tonight, we give our heartfelt best wishes to our dear friends who are about to embark on a journey of a lifetime. Their courage, their dreams, and their friendship have inspired all of us, and now, it's time for them to spread their wings and chase new horizons."
She paused, letting the weight of her words settle over the room, before gesturing toward the group of young travelers.
"Please join me in welcoming, with all our love and support, Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, Onpu, Momoko, Hana, and last but certainly not least, Pop!" Mutsumi beamed, her voice thick with pride. "Let's give them a round of applause!"
The entire banquet hall erupted in applause as everyone stood, clapping in unison, their cheers echoing throughout the room. The Ojamajos stood at the front, beaming with pride, their hearts swelling with gratitude as the crowd cheered for them. The applause was deafening, yet it felt like a gentle embrace. The group exchanged looks of disbelief and wonder, their eyes sparkling with emotion. The clapping continued for several moments, growing louder with every passing second, before slowly tapering off into a warm, respectful silence.
"Now, before we begin our banquet," Mutsumi continued, her voice steady as she collected herself, "we have a special menu dedicated to our friends. It's on the table for everyone to enjoy, so please, make sure to dig in and savor every bite. But that's not all—there are fun activities hosted by both our current and new students around the school for you to explore. You'll find games, music, and some interactive exhibits to enjoy throughout the evening. We also have some delightful performances lined up that are sure to bring smiles to your faces."
Her smile widened as she nodded toward a group of students who had helped organize the event. "We'd like to extend our thanks to Tamaki and the rest of the team for making this incredible banquet possible."
Mutsumi's gaze swept over the crowd, and she could see the excitement radiating from everyone. She took a deep breath, allowing the moment to sink in before speaking again. "Now, please, direct your attention to the screen as we showcase some of the best moments we've shared with our classmates. After that, we'll open the floor for a Q&A session with our brave travelers."
With that, Mutsumi returned to her seat, joining the others at the table. The room grew quiet as the screen flickered to life, and soon, a montage of memories filled the room. Images of the Ojamajos' unforgettable moments together—scenes from their graduation, memorable moments from the Cinderella play during the School Arts Festival, their laughter-filled adventures, and candid shots of them sharing secrets under the stars—flashed across the screen. The crowd couldn't help but smile, and a few people even wiped away tears as the images brought the nostalgia of years gone by to the surface.
The laughter and joy that echoed through the room was a testament to the strong bonds they had formed over time. It wasn't just about the events themselves, but the people they had become through those experiences.
As the slideshow came to an end, the crowd gave another round of applause, louder and warmer than before. The Ojamajos' families, Majorika, Lala, and the other fairies had tears in their eyes, moved by the beautiful display of friendship and growth they had all shared. The room felt alive with the magic of memories, and the love and admiration they felt for one another was palpable in the air.
"Alright, now it's time for question time!" Mutsumi announced, her cheerful smile lighting up her face. "If anyone would like to ask our travelers a question, please raise your hand, and I'll pass the microphone to you."
The hands of many eager guests shot up, excited to ask the Ojamajos about their upcoming journey. The energy in the room was electric, and there was an undeniable sense of excitement as everyone leaned in to hear the answers to their questions.
"Oh, it looks like Tamaki-san is first!" Mutsumi said, her voice filled with enthusiasm as she spotted the young man in the crowd. She nodded toward him and handed him the microphone.
"Thank you, Mutsumi," Tamaki began, adjusting the mic with a slight smile. His tone was genuine and curious. "So, what is the purpose of your world travels?"
Aiko stepped forward, her posture tall and proud as she addressed the question. "Our purpose is simple yet profound. We want to meet new friends, learn about different cultures, and promote world peace and understanding. We believe that by sharing our experiences, we can help build bridges between people from all walks of life. We'll be sharing everything we learn through our social media accounts, complete with photos and postcards, so you can all follow along with us as we embark on this incredible journey."
The room fell silent for a moment, hanging on Aiko's words. The sincerity in her voice struck a chord with everyone present. Mutsumi gave a soft smile, taking the mic from Aiko as she addressed the crowd.
"Thank you for the great question, Tamaki-san!" Mutsumi said with a smile, before continuing, "Anyone else have a question?"
Tetsuya Kotake raised his hand, and Mutsumi quickly handed him the microphone.
"So, Dojimi," Kotake began, his tone more serious now. "Yesterday, I pointed out some of the risks you might face as you travel around the world. Can you share what measures you've taken to prepare for those risks?"
Doremi nodded, her expression thoughtful and focused. "First of all, just to clarify, my name's Doremi. And yes, we're fully aware of the challenges we might face along the way. We've been very careful in preparing for this journey. We've made sure to have direct contact with the embassies and emergency services in every country we'll visit. We've also taken out travel insurance to ensure we're covered in case of any emergencies. Above all, we've trained ourselves to be vigilant and stay safe, so you can rest easy knowing we're prepared for whatever comes our way."
Pop chimed in with a bright smile, nodding enthusiastically. "That's right! We'll be okay, Kotake-san!"
"Thank you, Kotake-san, for the important question," Mutsumi said with a nod of appreciation, before turning back to the crowd. "Next question, please."
The microphone was passed to Masaru Yada, who stood up with a friendly wave.
"Hi, everyone!" Masaru greeted warmly, his friendly face lighting up the room. "I was wondering—are you planning to invite your friends to visit Misora and the rest of Japan?"
"Absolutely," Hazuki answered, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "We want to share our culture with the new friends we meet along the way. It's not just about us showing them our country—it's about them experiencing how we express our friendships and traditions here in Japan. We're excited to invite everyone to visit us when we return and show them the beauty of our homeland."
"Yeah!" the rest of the Ojamajos cheered in unison, their enthusiasm palpable as they leaned in toward Masaru. Their spirits were lifted by the thought of sharing their world with others.
"Thank you, Masaru, for that thoughtful question," Mutsumi said, her eyes shining with pride. She turned back to the room, her smile never fading. "Alright, last chance for any questions! Who's next?"
The microphone was handed to Marina Koizumi, who stood up with a serious expression, her tone measured but sincere.
"I have an important question," Marina said, her voice steady. "Are you aware that, while you will be learning about other cultures, there will also be a lot of responsibility on your shoulders in terms of representing Japan?"
Momoko took the mic, answering in fluent English with grace. "We're very aware. When I returned to Japan, I reconnected with my Japanese roots, and we'll continue to do the same with our new friends. As for our travels, we're excited to learn about other cultures as well. For example, in New York, we'll be learning about American culture, and I think it's going to be especially exciting for Hana-chan since it'll be her first visit to America. Right, Hana-chan?"
Hana nodded eagerly, her eyes wide with anticipation. "Yes, Hana-chan can't wait to visit America for the first time!"
"Thank you, Marina," Mutsumi said, as the Q&A session came to a close. She gave a final look around the room before standing up. "And now, with that, let's officially start the banquet!"
The room erupted into cheers, and the festivities began in full swing. Laughter, music, and the hum of lively conversation filled the air as guests mingled, their voices blending with the soft strains of a cheerful melody playing in the background. The long tables were set with care, overflowing with plates of food, and everyone eagerly gathered around to enjoy the feast that had been meticulously prepared. The atmosphere was electric with energy and excitement. The Ojamajos, surrounded by their friends, family, and supporters, could feel the warmth of the love and joy radiating from every corner of the room. They stood together, on the edge of a new chapter in their lives, united by the unbreakable bonds of friendship and the promise of endless adventures waiting just beyond the horizon.
The banquet officially kicked off with a touch of whimsy, as Hachitarou, Surumeko, and Atarimeko took their places at the front, proudly serving the first dish of the evening—takoyakis. The scent of the savory, octopus-filled treats drifted through the air, making everyone's mouths water in anticipation. The mascots moved gracefully between the tables, carefully distributing the steaming, golden-brown snacks to the delighted guests. As the takoyakis were devoured with gusto and the first round of laughter and chatter filled the room, the trio excused themselves from the festivities. Their next mission was to head to Pop's former classroom, 1-1, where they had been designated as the official meet-and-greet mascots for the younger students.
Once the takoyakis were cleared from the tables, the main course arrived in style. Waiters carefully presented the next course: a perfectly cooked steak, glazed with a sweet and spicy sauce, accompanied by a colorful medley of stir-fried vegetables and a light, refreshing salad. Guests had their choice of drinks—water, soda, coffee, or tea—and the rich, complex flavors of the meal delighted the senses, leaving everyone feeling satisfied and eager to see what would come next.
As they savored their meals, the Ojamajos gathered in small groups, chatting quietly among themselves. Their upcoming departure was drawing closer, and with it, a mixture of excitement, nervousness, and bittersweet emotions. They couldn't help but wonder what awaited them in the days ahead, what challenges and triumphs they would face on their journey.
After finishing the main course, the atmosphere grew even livelier as the evening's entertainment began. The school had prepared a variety of fun activities for everyone to enjoy, and the Ojamajos eagerly split up to take part in the celebration. Each classroom hosted its own unique event, and the Ojamajos were determined to experience as much of it as they could.
Doremi, ever the playful spirit, made her way to the 6-1 classroom, where card games and board games were in full swing. She couldn't resist the urge to join in, her infectious laughter ringing through the room as she competed with the younger students. Hazuki, always up for a challenge, headed to the 3-2 classroom, where a pop quiz competition was being held. She eagerly sat down to test her knowledge alongside other students, determined to prove her intellectual prowess. Meanwhile, Aiko entered the 6-2 classroom, her excitement building at the sight of an Indiana Jones movie marathon. The familiar action-packed scenes filled the room, and Aiko couldn't help but grin at the thrill of the adventure. Onpu, with her love of music, found herself drawn to the 4-2 classroom, where the students were enjoying a lively karaoke session. Without hesitation, she joined in, her voice rising in harmony with the others. Momoko, ever the competitive one, made her way to the 5-1 classroom, where a PvP gaming competition was underway. Her fierce competitive spirit was immediately on display as she dove into the game. Hana, though still a baby, was delighted by the musical performance put on by the new 5-2 students. She clapped her tiny hands in delight, her giggles filling the air with joy. Lastly, Pop, eager to help, went to the 1-1 classroom to join Hachitarou, Surumeko, and Atarimeko in assisting with the meet-and-greet duties. She interacted with the younger students, who were bubbling with excitement at the chance to meet the cute and friendly mascots.
As Doremi wandered through the bustling school halls, she decided to take a short break. With a sigh of relief, she headed toward the bathroom to gather her thoughts. As she walked down the corridor, her attention was drawn to a familiar voice. She turned the corner to see Sachiko Ijuuin, speaking animatedly on her phone, effortlessly switching between Japanese, English, and French.
"I had to go. J'ai dû y aller," Sachiko said, blending the languages seamlessly. "Bye! Au revoir!"
Sachiko hung up the phone and flashed a bright, friendly smile at Doremi as she noticed her approach.
"Doremi-chan, what are you doing here?" Sachiko asked, a hint of curiosity in her voice.
"I was just heading to the bathroom for a quick break from the board games and card games," Doremi explained with a smile. "What about you? You seem busy."
Sachiko chuckled lightly. "I was just talking to my cousins in Canada. I've been telling them all about the banquet and how things are going here in Misora, living in Japan."
"Wait, you have cousins in Canada?" Doremi asked, her eyebrows raising in surprise.
Sachiko nodded eagerly, her eyes lighting up with excitement as she spoke. "Oui! I have an older cousin and a younger cousin, both of whom live in Toronto, Ontario. We talk to each other all the time, although sometimes our schedules get busy. As you know, my parents are junior high school teachers, but what you might not know is that they both graduated from the University of Toronto. My parents, my aunt, and my uncles were all born and raised in Canada. My grandparents were Japanese immigrants who moved there, but they've passed away now. After my parents finished school, they moved back to Japan, but we still stay in touch with my aunt and uncles. Would you like to see photos from my visits to Canada?"
Doremi smiled warmly, touched by Sachiko's heartfelt story. "I don't have time right now—I'm on a bathroom break—but if you send me some pictures through DM, I'd love to see them! And you can tell your cousins that my friends and I are planning to visit Canada sometime in the future!"
Sachiko grinned and nodded enthusiastically. "Of course! I'll send them to you! And I'll definitely tell them you're coming!"
Just then, Shino Hanada, panting with excitement, rushed up to them, her face flushed with anticipation.
"Doremi-chan!" Shino called out, breathless as she hurried toward them. "While you're traveling, you absolutely have to visit Mongolia! You have to meet Tamila! He'll introduce you and your friends to all the amazing things Mongolia has to offer!"
Doremi's face lit up with a warm smile as she nodded at Shino's request. "We promise, Shino! We'll visit Mongolia!"
With a final wave to both Shino and Sachiko, Doremi continued her walk toward the bathroom, feeling a deep sense of gratitude. As she stepped into the bathroom, she couldn't help but smile, thinking of all the people she and her friends would meet and the adventures they would have as they explored new places together.
As the school activities continued through the night, the Ojamajos found themselves immersed in the sheer joy and excitement of the evening. The classrooms were alive with chatter and energy, with students participating in games, quizzes, and performances. Laughter echoed through the halls, and the energy never seemed to wane, even as the clock ticked past midnight. It was a night full of unforgettable moments, warm friendships, and memories in the making. But, all too soon, the clock reminded them that their time together was coming to an end. It was time for the Ojamajos to return to their residences, where they would prepare for one final night of rest before setting off on their great adventure.
The cool night air greeted them as they stepped outside, the moon casting a soft glow over the quiet sidewalks. With every step they took, the excitement of the evening slowly turned into a quiet, contemplative mood. As they walked, their conversation turned naturally to the day's events—the banquet, the games, and all the fun activities that had made it a night to remember.
"That pop quiz was intense!" Hazuki laughed, her competitive spirit still burning bright even as she walked down the street. "But, honestly, it was such a blast!"
Aiko, still grinning from ear to ear, chimed in. "I loved the movie marathon. Indiana Jones never gets old, no matter how many times we watch it!" Her voice held the spark of someone who could watch the films over and over again and never tire of them.
"And the karaoke!" Onpu exclaimed, her voice still tinged with the excitement of her performance. "I think I'm going to sign up for that every time from now on."
Doremi, who had been walking a little ahead, turned to face her friends with a wistful smile. "I'm so glad we got to do this before we leave," she said softly, her voice carrying a hint of nostalgia. "Tonight feels like a dream. It's hard to believe that tomorrow we'll be heading off on our separate journeys."
The group of friends nodded in agreement, the weight of their upcoming departure settling in. Their time in Misora had been precious, but they still had one more day to savor the moments. For now, they cherished the laughter and the closeness they shared, knowing that these final moments together would remain in their hearts forever.
"Boy, that food—especially the steak—was incredible!" Doremi exclaimed with a satisfied grin, her eyes sparkling with contentment. "Honestly, I think I've just ticked off one of my lifelong goals. Delicious!"
"I can't stop thinking about those movies," Aiko added, her eyes wide as she relived the thrilling adventures of Indiana Jones. "I swear, every one of them was better than the last!"
The conversation then took an unexpected turn as Doremi, her curiosity piqued, leaned in with a mischievous smile. "Okay, so while I was heading to the bathroom, I found out something really surprising," she began, her voice full of intrigue. "Sachiko has cousins who live in Canada!"
The others stopped mid-step, their expressions a mix of shock and curiosity. None of them had ever heard anything about Sachiko's extended family, and certainly not about her cousins living in such an exotic location.
"Her cousins are Canadian?!" they asked in unison, their voices filled with disbelief.
"Hana-chan had no idea she even had family in Canada!" Hana added, her face lighting up with excitement, her wide eyes reflecting the same curiosity that everyone else felt.
"Canada… wow," Momoko mused thoughtfully, her voice reflecting both awe and fascination. "It's like America, but with its own unique charm. I've always wanted to visit."
Doremi pulled out her Sekai Touch Call, her fingers flying across the screen as she checked the new message from Sachiko. A smile tugged at her lips as she opened a series of photos Sachiko had sent over from her Canadian trip.
"Whoa!" Hazuki leaned in, her eyes glued to the screen as the photos started to load. "These are amazing!"
Doremi, with a proud grin, pulled out her Sekai Touch Tablet, eager to share Sachiko's memories with her friends. "Let's see what Sachiko has been up to in Canada!"
As the images loaded one by one, the Ojamajos gathered around, their faces glowing with wonder as they saw the breathtaking scenes of Sachiko's adventures.
"Spelli, can you tell us more about these photos?" Aiko asked, her excitement palpable as she pointed to the images.
Spelli's voice rang out from the tablet, steady and informative, as the images appeared on the screen.
"The first photo shows Sachiko striking a reverse warrior pose in front of Moraine Lake during sunrise, the colors of the sky reflecting on the crystal-clear water. The second photo shows her with her cousins, tasting maple taffy at the Quebec Winter Carnival. The third photo is a thrilling shot of Sachiko taking a selfie on the Edgewalk at the CN Tower in Toronto, hundreds of feet above the bustling city below. The fourth picture captures Sachiko's cousins petting huskies in Nunavut, surrounded by the pristine, snowy wilderness. The fifth shows them watching the Calgary Stampede parade, the colorful floats and excited crowds a testament to the energy of the event. The sixth photo shows Sachiko attending a hockey game at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, the intensity of the game visible on her face. The seventh shows Sachiko and her cousins enjoying Beavertails and Tim Hortons coffee in Old Montreal. And lastly, there's a video of Sachiko and her cousins taking the Hornblower Niagara Cruise at Niagara Falls."
The final image disappeared, and the tablet switched to video mode. Sachiko's voice soon echoed out, and the screen was filled with the sight of Sachiko and her cousins, dressed in matching red raincoats, aboard the boat at Niagara Falls.
"Here we are at Niagara Falls with my cousins, Marianne and Kelsey," Sachiko's voice sounded in the video. "We're on the cruise from the Canadian side, and we're about to get up close to the falls. It's so chilly and windy!"
The boat surged forward, and Marianne leaned into the frame, excitement radiating from her. "Here we go! This is the moment we've all been waiting for!" she shouted, her voice filled with anticipation.
The Ojamajos could practically feel the thrill of the experience as the camera wobbled slightly from the wind, and Kelsey shouted, "This is incredible!"
The water roared as they neared the falls, and the Ojamajos could almost hear the rush of the water as the mist sprayed all around them. The energy of the moment was contagious, and they couldn't help but smile at the sheer joy captured in the video.
The boat turned around to head back to port, and the video shifted to show the cousins at Clifton Hill, having fun at the arcade and eating snacks. They visited the Skylon Tower for a stunning nighttime view of the illuminated falls. Finally, they dined at a revolving restaurant, enjoying a meal while the city lights twinkled below.
As the video came to an end, the Ojamajos let out a collective sigh of awe. "Wow, that was amazing," Hazuki said softly, still mesmerized by the footage. "The CN Tower looked so beautiful at night."
"I can't wait to meet Marianne and Kelsey when we go to Canada!" Momoko added, her voice full of excitement.
Doremi pouted slightly, her jealousy bubbling up, even though she didn't want to admit it. "I had no idea Sachiko's family was so well-traveled... or rich, like you, Hazuki-chan. Bu-bu-buu! I'm the world's unluckiest pretty girl!"
Hazuki chuckled and gave Doremi a reassuring smile. "It's okay, Doremi. You don't have to be rich to live a wonderful life. You're rich in so many other ways, you know?"
Pop, who had been quietly listening, joined in with a wink. "Yeah, Doremi! You just have to suck it up and enjoy the ride!"
"And remember," Onpu added with a warm, reassuring smile, "we've got your back, no matter what. We're your best friends, and we'll stick with you through thick and thin."
"Besides," Aiko grinned, her eyes glinting with determination, "we won't just visit Canada. We're going to see every country in the world together!"
Hana's innocent voice joined the conversation, her eyes wide with wonder. "Hana-chan will see what the world teaches us!"
The group burst out laughing together, the joy of their bond filling the cool night air. As they tucked the Sekai Touch Tablet back into their Magical Luggage, they continued their walk, the streets quieter now as the city began to wind down for the night.
For the Ojamajos, this was one of the last peaceful nights they would spend in Misora, the city that had been their home for so long. Tomorrow, they would be leaving Japan behind, setting out on a journey that would take them across the globe. But tonight, they were simply savoring their time together—friends, laughter, and the promise of countless adventures yet to come.
As they walked toward their homes—and Maho-Do in Hana's case—they couldn't help but feel a bittersweet mix of excitement and melancholy. The future was waiting for them, and they knew they would face it together, no matter where their journey took them.
