Chapter 16: Friendly Cure
Juliana is sick, so Ash and Nemona have to heal her back to health. Then take care of one of those Team Star members. I promised a Snowy Day chapter as the characters travel to Glaseado Mountains. And then something more snowy-er happens afterwards with Atticus, the third challenged Team Star Member. Enjoy.

Ash and Nemona open the door and walk into the house. They find Juliana sitting there in pain on the couch in the living room. They can see she treated her right arm with bandages where she get hit by the Posion Type move. Her cheeks glowed purple and her face looked somewhat pale.
Juliana saw Ash and Nemona and smiled. "Hey guys- Ugh Achoo! How's it going...?"
"Hi there", said Ash, smiling warmly. "You're suffering, huh?"
Juliana put held her forehead for a bit. "Yeah... it's not the best look for me."
Nemona patted Juliana's head gently. "Me and Ash might've found a cure for you."
Juliana's eyes lit up. "Really? I wonder what this cure is."
"There are lots of Spicy Herba Mysticas laying around in Glaseado Mountain. That poison must've given you a common cold. So it's best that you eat something spicy to have a good heat temperature.", Ash suggested.
"Cool... -cough- -cough-... Hopefully this sickness will finally get out of me by then..."
"We can't leave you here by yourself, and it's cold out there.", said Nemona. "Do you happen to have lots of really warm stuff to wear to keep you bundled up?", she asks Juliana.
"Yeah. I do actually." She runs upstairs to put on her winter clothes.
"We should put on our winter clothes too. We wouldn't want to freeze to death", says Ash. Him and Nemona get out their winter clothes they came prepared with from their backpack to put them on.
Moments later, everyone was ready. And they walked outside in their winter clothes.
"Koriadon, help us out", Ash says, summoning Winged King from his Poké Ball.
"KoRAIii!"
Juliana was speechless seeing another Koraidon with Ash. She almost feels jealous. "You got a Koraidon? Where did you find him?!"
"Oh, you never met him. He found me and Arven being attacked by a Klawf and decided to stay by my side. I also named him Winged King, based on his alias from the Scarlet Book I have.", Ash explained.
"KOR!"
Ash scratches Winged King. "And I've been feeding him food with some Herba Mystica that gives him abilities."
"Abilities?!", Nemona replied. "Guau! You must've been hanging out with Arven that much. Those sandwiches are something else."
Ash was surprised by what Nemona just said just now. "You never told me you could speak Spanish"
"She brought that up to me once", said Juliana.
Nemona smiled nervously. "It's something from my family. I just don't like speaking Spanish to new people that much because... well... I feel embarrassed when I do that."
Ash patted Nemona on the shoulder. "Nah. No problem with speaking Spanish. You should do that more often."
She kisses Ash on the cheek. "Gracias, Ash!"
"You're welcome!", said Ash. "Time for an adventure!"
The three all hopped on Winged King. Juliana held on to Ash as the Paradox Legendary started running through the pathway. "Wee! This is fun!", she yelled.
"Psst. Hey, Juliana. What does you're welcome mean in Spanish.", he whispered.
"Oh. I think it means De Nada", she said quietly.
"Oh, I see. That's noted."
Rika panicked and ran all the way to Naranja Academy. She tried rushing up the stairway, but apparently it's a long flight of stairs and she starts getting even more tired. While crawling up, she breathes and wheezes. "Got... To warn... Ash... Got to... warn... the others..." she lays down on the stairs to catch her breath.
Clavell and Geeta were talking in the office.
"I mean, if this region is based on past and future from Sada and Turo, wouldn't we give this school a much better name. Like, I don't know... Uva Naranja Academy: Uva Naranja for short?", Geeta wondered.
"Uva Naranja?" Clavell thought of Geeta's idea for a moment. "Actually, it has a nice ring to it", he said. "I'm sure all of our students and staff will love the new name for our academy here."
Rika ran inside the office hastily. And stopped by Clavell's desk. "GEETA! DIRECTOR!"
Clavell jumped as he was a bit startled that Rika scared him like that.
"What a pleasant surprise, Rika. What seems to be the trouble?", said Geeta.
"La Primera! It's terrible! The Explorers are at Casseroya Lake, and those Team Rocket goons Ash was talking about are with them!", Rika panicked.
Geeta was shooken up and startled while Clavell's eyes opened in fear.
"That's... terrible...", Geeta stammered. "We're going to have to call authorities to run them out of that place. The False Dragon Titan is laying there and if they use it for evil deeds, then it could spell doom for all of Paldea.", she suggested."
"No! Ash and Liko need to be contacted!" Rika didn't want to use the authorities as an idea, thinking Ash, Liko, and their friends can handle it.
Geeta however begged to differ. "They can't. They already have enough adventures to deal with unless they are okay with it. We have to use them as plan B for now. Right now, the authorities are plan A."
"Not only that, but the Independence Day party is in 5 days. Unless something goes completely wrong, we shouldn't cancel it this early", Clavell mentions.
Geeta nodded her head to Clavell. "I agree. Everyone is going to be there. We can't postpone this opportunity."
Rika sighed in frustration. "Fine. I'll handle contacting the authorities. But if it fails, we need professional help." She starts jogging out of Clavell's office.
Between walls of the hallway, a Beheeyem was listening in to the conversation and teleports back to The Explorers's secret evil hidden lair.
Spinel was in his room sitting on his chair and watching through the monitor screen his Beheeyem's watch camera. Beheeyem teleports next to him while Spinel is also petting his Umbreon's head.
"Behee. Beh."
"Excellent work Beheeyem.", he said. He then contacts Giovanni about the situation.
Giovanni answers through the monitor screen. "Did you find any sneaky ones who detected us yet?", asked Giovanni.
"It's done, sir. Normally I would report this to Gibeon, but he's busy at the moment", Spinel implied.
"I'll be reporting this to him", assured Giovanni. "Who were these suspicious characters?"
"They go by the name Rika, along with Geeta and Clavell. They are planning to send authorities after us so we don't ruin their academy's little party in 5 days..."
Giovanni gave off a vile smirk after hearing all the information he needs. He's decided to play the waiting game. "I will be telling this to Gibeon, but do not engage soon for now. Let them have their little party. But after that party, in several weeks we will take over their region after finishing our grand destructive project."
Spinel nodded towards agreement. "Understandable. I will leave everything to you two."
Giovanni made a salute pose before signing off. "You've done well, Spinel. You deserve a break." The contact cuts off afterwards.
Spinel's Umbreon was curious of this party and thought about investigating it.
"Umbre! Umb." It taps Spinel's arm.
Spinel looks at Umbreon. "What's the matter my dear Umbreon?"
"Umbre! Umbreon!"
"You want to investigate that party soon? Splendid idea. We can use that to our advantage in our villian files." He starts petting Umbreon again. "Well done, buddy."
"Umbreon! Umbre!" The Umbreon smirked evily.
At Glaseado Mountain, the gang arrive at a Pokémon Herba Mystica shop. As they walk inside, they can see lots of Herba Mysticas laying around the store.
"Wow! That's a lot of... Achoo...!...Herba Mysticas", says Juliana.
There was a cashier sitting over there, it turned out to be a strange man in a white cloak. "What can I do you for?", said the mysterious cashier.
"We need a Spicy Herba Mystica please."
The mysterious cashier nodded and went to his office on the right side of the cashier desk.
Nemona looked over to the left and saw a hidden room through an unlocked door. She started getting suspicious. "Hey Ash, you and Juliana stay here. I'm going to go investigate that room."
"Oh, okay. Be safe", Ash replied.
"I will", Nemona responded before walking into that room.
Juliana grew curious of Ash and Nemona's relationship. "Ash, I have a very important question for you."
Ash giggled. "Ask away, pal."
"So... Do you ever think about your marriage with Nemona in the future?"
Ash was embarrassed of Juliana's questions and started nervously sweating from his forehead. "What?! Julie! We are only lovers! We are not into that kind of commitment yet!"
Juliana gave off a blank grouchy stare to Ash. "I meant in the future when the time is ready you dork."
Ash chuckles nervously. "Well... Of course we would... I mean, even then, once we have children, I can see them being obsessed with Pokémon battles too!"
Juliana giggled adorably before letting out a sneeze from her sickness. "Will all be surrounded by battle obsessors.", she said while wiping her nose with her finger.
"I mean, of course you'll find someone in the future, right Juliana?", he asked her. He now wants to know if she has anyone she likes.
Juliana has been thinking about someone as she barely sees them, but heard of their stories so far. "There is a cute boy I haven't really met. His name is Kieran... He's from Kitikami. And Carmine's brother, who me and Florian have also never got a chance to meet yet. That's because Clavell wanted me and my brother for Team Star investigations."
Ash was getting a tad bit tired of hearing these new characters from a far away town because he knows it would correlate to Liko after all the things she's been doing so far. But he doesn't seem to show it even to Juliana and just gives her a warm smile and a positive response to think positive thoughts. "Kieran seems like a nice fellow, huh?"
Juliana blushed just thinking about him. "Yeah... he's shy and cute. I'd do anything for him. Probably spoil him! Hehe! But I decided I wanted to see him at Blueberry Academy."
Ash is now wondering why Juliana doesn't want to just see Kieran at Kitikami instead of waiting longer on an after school program after summer ends. "Why not just meet hum at his home?", asked Ash.
Juliana twired her braided her and then pouted on the cashier desk while coughing for a second. "Well... Because once this whole thing blows over, and you and Liko start pairing up, I want you two to experience the life with those siblings first... you know, just so that me and Florian can get to know them better that way..."
Ash smiles brightly, understanding Juliana's actions about how she and her brother meets new people. "Okay. I get it. You're like a friends making observer or something?", he guessed with a soft voice.
Juliana's grin perked up for one second while frowning. "It's just so that I can get my mind off of what happened and find a light at the end of the tunnel and grow from my trauma I had in the past. Florian is developing... but me... growing pains."
Ash was now concerned about Juliana admitting her past life in some scary way. "Juliana... what's wrong? What do you mean by your trauma?", he asked her in a calm comforting voice.
Juliana sneezed and then took a deep breath. "Me and Florian have always gotten along as siblings. Sure we act a bit weird and quirky and other times barley fight and argue over tough times but do our best to reflect from it. But... our Mom and Dad haven't been on good terms when we were 9."
Ash frowned, not liking where this story will lead.
"To put it to you this way, Ash...", she continued. "Our Dad got fired as a nurse from the Pokémon Center because of some sort of bureaucracy and finacial problems and other economical crap that happened since a little pandemic occured here in Paldea, doing lots of damage. But after it ended... our father kept repeatedly asking our mother for help for that... but..." Juliana breathes in and out. She hasn't really told Ash this story since no one really asks her.
Ash walks behind Juliana and gently rubbed her back. "Take your time to let it out. I'm listening..."
Juliana smiled for a bit as Ash supported and comforted her. "... uhm... Because of that they started fighting and yelling a lot one day over me and Florian's priority of planning an exciting trip to this carnival at Galar since me and him past our Electric Type Pokémon exam. We don't know what they were talking about specifically though... And then... we heard my mother crying after we heard loud thumps. And a door slam."
She rubs her hand with her other hand a bit. "We ran down stares to investigate and saw her laying on the ground holding her right eye. Her eye was black and swollen... I think our father got a bit too mad and punched her..."
Ash was shocked and full of concern. "Oh Juliana...! That's a very shocking confession...! I'm so sorry you and your brother had to deal with that! Ever since we talked on the Rotom Phone FaceTime chat, you told me your mother doesn't like talking about... well her husband. But hearing you talk to me and telling me what's wrong like this... It takes a lot for a 14 year old like you to do."
"You're such a good friend Ash. You know that?", said Juliana as she coughed and then warmly grins before frowning sadly again. "But that's not even the worst part of the story as we had to plan a funeral of course..."
Ash frowned in a form of feeling sad for Juliana. "What do you mean funeral? Is your father-"
"Gone. Past in a higher plane of existence after a car accident during the incident."
Ash had goosebumps on his arms. He didn't know things could get so bad from Juliana's childhood and how struggling it was around it. He then asks her, "Did he ever love you all even when all of that happened?"
Juliana nodded and answered. "Yes. He did. He always cared. I guess our mother was just give him nothing but a hard time."
Ash hugs Juliana and she leaks a little tear of sadness. "Oh, Juju... I'm sorry for your loss...", he then just realized what he called her and softly giggles as he gave her a nickname to cheer her up." Can I call you that?"
Juliana chuckles as she knows Ash us just trying to lighten the mood to make her forget her past. "Sure. We're buddies after all", she said while giving him a small smile. "It's okay Juliana. You still have me, you have friends. You still have your mother and your Pokémon. And your willing to make even newer friends!"
"Thanks... I just ACHOO! Oh Arceus... I don't know what I'd do without you guys", Juliana said with a more enlightened smile.
Ash softly patted her head. "Team Operation Starfall?", he murmured to her in a sweet and kind voice, returning the friendship thing Juliana did with him last time.
Juliana laughed, sparking up happiness again. "Team Operation Starfall, ya sweet friendly Acranine", she responded before playfully punching him in the stomach.
Ash felt like she almost hardly beat him in his gut that he felt a bit of pain and held it with his arms were it hurt. "Oof! You are a very strong Paldea girl...!"
Juliana flexes her arm. "Thank you." She confidentiality smiles and crosses her arms and raises her eye brow. "We're heroes of Paldea after all. Us heroes got to get tough sometimes! You know what they say, when the going gets tough, it gets tougher!"
Ash felt motivated himself after already becoming a Pokémon Master, and now a hero of the world of all things. "You're not wrong. When we think about the bad stuff that happened to us in the past, we gotta find ways to get our minds off of it. Even if it means toughening up from them if necessary. And you're definitely strong, Juliana. Don't let anyone tell you different."
Juliana gave off a sweet smile and hugged Ash. Ash hugged her in return. "I love talking with friends like you~"
Ash smiled, adoring Juliana's soft huggable side. "Aw shucks! If only Nemona saw this moment." His face then changed to a crazily worry like a character from a cartoon and asks, "Speaking of which...! Where is she?!"
Juliana broke away from the hug, now acknowledging Ash's question as she looks around. "Yeah. We're on Earth is this Spanish girl?"
At the random room she walked into, Nemona statted investigating the place from top to bottom. She then reads the current employee of the month award and the name of it. She started laughing at the name as she read this.
Give it up for our newest employee of the month,
Murdock. (He's a Rising Volt Tackler dude)
"Murdock! Who the heck is Murdock?!", she said while cracking up. She stops laughing as her eyes widened and realized that name. "Dear Arceus... no... he's a Rising Volt Tackler... Liko's goons is working in this store! And he's the dude in that white cloak!" She then looks on a desk and sees a Terastal graphic designed Rotom Phone sitting there.
"That Rotom Phone. It looks like it belongs to Liko." She looks left and righr with her eyes to see if anyone was about to come in. But nothing. And she grabs Liko's Rotom Phone and made a run for it.
The mysterious man in the white cloak gave them the Spicy Herba Mystica and said, "That'll be 70 Poké Dollars."
Ash thinks he was ashamed of himself as he noticed that he didn't have enough of the money to afford it. "Aw dang it! We need it real ba-!" He then gasped as he saw Juliana point up her pinkie.
She then grabbed her 100 Poké Dollar cash out of her pocket and handed it to the cashier. "Keep the change", she told the cashier as she winked.
He gave 30 back to her. "Pleasure doing business with you, little lady."
Ash and Juliana nodded and then looked at eachother to give each other high fives.
Nemona showed up. "Alright. I am here!"
"Where we're you?!", said Ash.
"Oh. They had a bathroom in there so I had ti borrow it.", Nemona answered.
The cashier hyperventilated for a bit. "Oh no! Please tell me you did a number one...!"
Nemona tilted her head to side with a confused look to a concerned cashier. "Nah, it was a two."
"GREAT ARCEUS GOD!" The cashier freaked out and ran into that room and its bathroom hall Nemona was near.
Ash read the sign on a wall based on an employee guideline. "I think I understand why he's freaked out..."
Nemona and Juliana take a look to while Nemona asked, "Why?"
Then Juliana snorted and giggled. Ash laughed. And Nemona was akward about but understanding about the guideline.
Please make sure all customers are asked if what bathroom number method they did after using the restroom. We had many toilet clog up complaints from our manager over the past years.
Nemona sort of laughs to. "Eso es un poco gracioso!" Then she seriously rushes Ash and Juliana at the task at hand. "Now vamos! We need to get out of here quick."
"Why are you rushing us?", asked Juliana before sneezing.
"I'll explain later", Nemona answered. "Let's go! We need to move!" She started to push and shove Ash and Juliana back outside.
As they got outside, Ash summoned Winged King and him and the girls hopped on. And they rode the Paradox Legendary away.
At the room, the white cloaked man paced back and fourth furiously. "Grr! That tall teenage lady lied! She didn't do a number two!" He takes off the cloak from getting hot from wearing it. "Phew! I need a break" It turns out Nemona was correct, because the employee of the month award was obvious. The man who was wearing that white cloak was none other than Murdock. One of the members of the Rising Volt Tacklers. "Being a mysterious cashier takes work, huh?"
He then looked to his desk and ran to it. Slamming his hands onto it while searching for something. He then scratches his head. "Funny. Wasn't something sitting here" Then he gasped while realizing what was missing from that desk. "Liko's Rotom Phone! Someone stole it!" And then he had a thought. "Wait a minute..."
He ran outside and looked around. And then he saw foot prints. He gritted his teeth angrily and stomped the ground of snow. "Those three meddling kids! That was that Ash boy and his stupid friends Liko was talking about that stole her phone! I gotta contact Friede!" He gives Friede a phonce call through his Rotom Phone.
"Hello, Murdock, what's up."
He paces back and fourth to explain as Friede answers. "That Ash kid and his goons. I was doing my thing giving them those mystery herbs and one of them must've snook in that office and took Liko's Rotom Phone! Now they're ALL running away with it and I can't find them!"
Friede sighs through the phone. "Those backstabbing traitors. Liko told me we should never trust them. Me and Orla try talking to her to trust them, but we didn't listen. She said those guys were trouble. Why do they gotta try to ruin her Arecus plans?! Murdock, come back to the airship. I'll see what Dot can do to track one of those three thieves Rotom Phones. We're getting Liko's Rotom Phone back."
Murdock understood the instructions and made a salute pose. "Sir, yes sir!" Murdock had a teleportation device and used it to teleport back to the airship.
Back at Juliana's house, Nemona prepares noodle soup with Spicy Herba Mystica in it to heal Juliana while Ash watches over the Paldean girl while the to sit on the couch watching television.
Minutes later, Nemona walks up to Juliana and gives her the noodles soup. "Careful. It's hot.", she said.
"Thanks", said Juliana. Juliana starts eating the noodle soup.
Nemona then signals Ash as she needs something from him. "Psst! Hey Ash. Come outside with me for a moment."
Ash nodded. "Will be back. Just enjoy that soup.", he told Juliana.
"Okay", said Juliana before continuing to eat the bowl of noodle soup.
Nemona and Ash walk outside near Juliana's house.
"So what is it?", asked Ash.
Nemona sends out Liko's Rotom Phone. "This."
Ash panicked for a bit. What Nemona did must've made him think it was a dangerous move for her to do. "You stole her phone?! Nemo-"
But Nemona covers his mouth with her hand and talks gently with him with a soft smile. "Look. I know. But uf what you told me earlier was true. Maybe her phone can give us some answers to her motives. Her morals. I want to help all of us, comprende?"
Ash nods silently.
Nemona uncovers his mouth and looks into Liko's Rotom Phone. Ash gets a peak as well.
They then go on her voice recording app and see that she has 3 recordings.
"Only three recordings? What are they about?", Ash wondered.
"Let's find out."
Nemona plays the recording.
Liko's Recording #1:
"Hey Liko... can we talk for a minute?"
"What can I do ya for Friede?"
It seems that Liko is talking in her normal voice without the pendant mimicking this time.
"About what you said about Ash and his friends, is it true you don't trust them. Normally you trust people like Carmine and Penny... But..."
(Liko sighed) "How can I? Him and Nemona decided to side with Arven. Arven has been asking me time and time again to stop with the Arceus catching goal of mine, but I don't care."
"Oh... Oh...!!! You don't know..."
"Huh? No what?"
(Friede chuckles nervously) "The reason he obviously tells you to stop is because... Has he told you about his parent's AI technology called "Paradise Proctection Protocol"?"
"Paradise Protection Protocol? No. What does it do...?"
"Protects a time machine from dangers. It has this violent nature for any trespasser... For now, all I know is... if something happens to that time machine without it... Well, let's just say it could ruin the research."
"So what does that have to do with me?"
"Random Legendary Pokémon saw something else in that time machine... Arceus thought that machine could ruin the timeline. Or put a accidental rift in the space time continuum. So he gathered Kyurem Fusions to destroy it. However, Paradise Protection Protcol spared but defeated them in the process. After Arceus realized why the time machine exists, after what Sada and Turo have been doing were alive... he sought a terrible mistake. But Sada and Turo and all of Paldea asked for judgement to see if the Legendary Pokémon, including Arceus can stop making mistakes and can learn and be good creatures for once. Paldea gets a little persistent in Legendary and Mythical Pokémon. However, Arven saw darkness and corruption in those Legendaries and Mythicals... didn't know what to make of them... didn't want them around him or his family. And after they died... he dedicated his life to still subjugate his trust away from those Pokémon and protect the one thing that is left of his family... his Pokémon and his one ace... Mabostiff."
"So he has a hatred for them after an accidental invasion that was NOT Arceus's fault."
"It seems that way. Most people have changed here in Paldea. But Arven and of course Rika included, have stayed the same about this. Heck, they even order Rika and Geeta that no one, unless for understandable circumstances, should not enter Area Zero. And this story happened 4 years ago. And now that your supporting them, which you should and no one should judge you for it, Arven has taken a liberty of making sure you stop it."
"That's not the only reason"
"What do you mean?"
"I'm also doing this because... Because... The Explorers! Those god Arceus forsaken Explorers! They took something from me!"
"I get it... He wants to stop you from ending them."
(Liko sighs in sadness) "You, Orla, Dot, Roy, and Penny and Carmine, EVERYONE who is close to me and cares for me, understands why I must destroy The Explorers. Terapagos has been helping me along with the pendant! But everytime he sparks my pendant to help me... Am I making the right choice, or am I just being a monster that kills?"
(Friede playfully laughs) "Oh come on, your Liko! You have the right to do that. The Explorers tried to take everything from us too. And it's time to put an end to that. You should believe in this prophecy that Arceus and Ms.Briar see in you. It's not about what the people that don't care about you would've wanted, it's what do The Explorers deserve."
"You're right... I must destroy them."
"Sure it's bold for a teenager like you to do, but your a 16 year old who's a Pokémon Trainer set out to also be a hero. I promise. Will all love you. No matter if you terminate that evil organization or if you imprison them."
"Thanks Friede. I'm glad I have someone to talk to. Clavell was thinking about sending me to Nurse Miriam. But, I dunno. You were a better person to talk to."
(Friede chuckled) "Glad I could help then. If you need anyone to talk to around the airship, especially me, you're welcome to do so.And keep thinking good hopes. Your mother won't be lost for long. We will find her."
"I appreciate that."
"Now come on. Orla prepared dinner. It's your favorite."
(Liko excitedly gasped) "Taco Tuesday?! No way!!! Heck yeah!"
Recording as ended.
Ash was pacing back and forth not knowing what to make of that recording while Nemona stood there in shock. Even the truth of what Liko was doing that she told Friede; was only half of it. Ash and Nemona know Liko wants to do the same vengeance to any and all bad people included.
"Okay... So we can't trust anyone else at this point!", Ash yelled as he smiled sarcastically. He's actually upset about that recording.
Nemona turns to Ash who is about to crash out. "Mi vida, calm down okay!"
Ash starts breathing angrily and then says, "I! CANNOT! CALM! DOWN!" Ash then talks a deep breath and talks calmer now. "Dot and Roy are on Liko's side. Those Rising Volt Tacklers are on Liko's side. That Carmine person is on Liko's side. Penny, that monster, could be the next case since she's already betrayed us! Nemona, please listen! We have three things in our plate at once! Practically FOUR since Team Star is also a thing!"
Nemona walks up to Ash and tries to land her hand on his shoulder. "Ash, I get you... but things are just—"
But Ash shrugs her hand off and turns to her and starts spiraling. "Difficult right now?! Yeah sure. Sure they are. I mean— We got— I mean I don't know... Mewtwo is with us. That's one thing. But there's Liko now, we possibly got Team Rocket, we still got Team Star dudes, we got The Explorers! Actually five things because of the Rising Volt Tacklers! Oh wait! Six! "I don't know what to do anymore. I'm starting to lose hope hear and—!"
Nemona hugs Ash to calm him down. "HEY! ASH! Bebé. You need to breathe. Please Ashy-kun. Just breathe."
Ash takes a deep breathe but his body is still shaking for a bit. He still can't take anymore terribleness since of what was heard from that recording. "... I'm trying, Nemona... I really am... how I am supposed to stop all of this?"
Nemona caresses Ash's face with her hands to make him take a good look at her. "By figuring this out together. We're a team. I know you haven't dealt with something like this on your adventures when you were young. But you have a lot of people too other than Liko. You have many to support you and help you fight. I know you're tired."
Ash looks down a bit. "The last thing I want is ti protect you, Nemona. You always know how to support me. I just wish we can be safe from all of this mayhem. I just want everyone to be okay..."
Nemona pressed her lips on Ash's and held the kiss. Ash felt support and warmth looming over him. Not only does Ash have family and friends helping him along the way, but he also even has a true love that's been with him since the beginning. Nemona and Ash break the kiss and wrapped their arms around each other.
"You and I will always be with each other. Nothing can ruin our love. We will help our friends and Paldea put a stop to the bad guys once and for all. That's a promise.", she said.
Ash chuckled and blushed. "I think that's enough of those recordings. We don't need to listen to the other too."
Nemona looks at the Rotom Phone of Liko's again. "Yeah... according to the other two and their title, it's something Roy and Dot related anyway."
"AY!", Juliana shouted from a distance at the doorway entrance of her house. Ash and Nemona look at Juliana shouting to them. "Are you lovebirds gonna just stand there looking cute, or can I put on movie for us already?!"
Ash and Nemona smiled proudly. "Someone's feeling a bit more well", said Ash.
"That Herba Mystica really did the trick", Nemona replied.
The two let go of each other, and Ash offers Nemona to go back inside the house first. "After you, milady"
Nemona blushed and gasped. "Oh Ash! Stop! You don't have to be well mannered all of a sudden."
Ash then flirted on Nemona. "But we're a couple now. Don't you wanna be respected. Your a woman after all."
Nemona gently pinched Ash cheeks. "Aw! Stop being so cute, miel! Come on, let's walk together."
Ash smirked. "Love that idea". They both held hands and walked back inside of Juliana's house.
At the Rising Volt Tacklers airship. Penny walks around the hallway section. "I haven't seen Dot all day. I wonder we she's up to."
Dot is busy doing a Nidothing livestream in her room.
"AYO! What's going on folks! I'm Nidothing! And tonight, it's time for the grand finale of general questions! Okay, question 50. Who would your love interest be?!"
The chat started taking a bit to answer because they might have a understandable answer.
"Uhm... Not sure. I saw Darla the other day. I don't know if consider her a friend or a my love interest."
"Wait a second! I've been hearing Juliana loves that Kieran kid! Those two are perfect for each other in my book!"
"Nidothing, you should be asking yourself that question."
Dot giggled and teased the third chatter. "Hey, you'll never know GrizzlyTrainer84. My love interest could be a possibility." Then she saw a chat from someone and got a little curious. "Huh?"
Carm-Eatdirt-Kitikami-05: "I hope someone helps my love interest to be honest... She needs help."
Dot tapped her finger on her chin, thinking who that person might be. "So... Carm-Eatdirt-Kitikami-05...? Why do you look familiar...? Eh, I dunno. Sorry for acting weird."
Carm-Eatdirt-Kitikami-05: "No no! It's okay, Nidithing! You and Iono are awesome! Uhm... I need you to do me a favor."
Dot nodded and smiled at the person's chat. "Usually I give out the best advice a could for specific people so sure, what you got?"
Penny then knocked on the door and then opened it a bit. "Sorry to interrupt! Oh! Are you doing a livestream."
Dot yawned and sighed. "You're lucky it's nothing too secretive."
Then the chat started going crazy.
"ITS PENNY!"
"OMG PENNY! Please sign my Eevee plush!"
"Nidothing, is SHE YOUR LOVE INTEREST?!"
"Can I be a Team Star member."
Then the suspicious chatter is making a panic chat because they are being serious about something.
Carm-Eatdirt-Kitikami-05: "NO WAIT LISTEN! PLEASE!!! I CAN'T FIND MY CHARGER AND MY COMPUTER IS ABOUT TO DIE! LISTEN! IM WORRIED ABOUT LIKO!!! SHE'S NOT THINKING CLEARLY! THE PENDANT IS MESSING HER UP! TERAPAGOS IS MESSING HER UP! YOU GOTTA HELP HER!!!"
Carm-Eatdirt-Kitikami-05 has disconnected.
The chat was getting a bit confused and some of them laughed it off.
"That Carm-Eatdirt-Kitikami-05 acts like they own her. Can they really own the people they loveas a love interest. Not her. Liko is the almost Paldean Champion. She's cool!"
"Who was that person anyway? Haha! Who cares. They act like Liko is in danger.I'm so sorry I was mean to her. She her voice sounds actually sweet and cute."
"Ikr, @Eeveegirl10hundred, she's a golden child! No one should be hurting her like this. And she had a loss. Poor sweet thing..."
"Liko is the light and soul of this world, just like Ash Ketchum!"
"Ash is cool! He died and came back mutiple times from Legendary Pokémon threats I heard!"
Dot wasn't even looking but then she does as the chat covers up the suspicious chatter's panicking text. Except for that they were disconnected. "Huh? Looks like the Carm whatever disconnected."
Penny started getting a bit suspicious as she also looked into Dot's stream. "Carm? Oh that. They look like they're from... Wait...! Now I can't put my finger on it..."
"Oh well. It must be some new fan, huh?", Dot said.
Penny shrugs it off and agrees with Dot. "Yeah. Obviously."
Dot looks at the stream and says, "Guys, we're putting the stream on hold for question 50. The other fans haven't came back from their break of watching this yet anyways." She then puts the feed on hault mode.
Nidothing will return momentarily.
She stretches and yawns and turns her chair to face Penny. "So, is there anything you want to talk about?"
Penny started twiddling her pinkie fingers around. "Everyone has barley seen you all night. I mean, everyone is asleep now, but I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
Dot scratched her head. "I'm fine." She rolls her chair to face her computer and goes to another tab to a tracking device website. "It's just that I've been waiting for this tracking device hack to work so I can access it to Liko's Rotom Phone so we can get it back for her. I've been busy, but now it's just patience is the last adjustment."
"I see" Penny gave in a look of guilt now. "I have something ask you... Do you think... Ash will ever be with me again???"
Knowing that something about Ash is bothering Penny, Dot tries to see if she can give out any advice and support to help Penny with her problem. "I'm sure of it. Just get that stupid Nemona out of the way. But why you ask?"
Penny rubbed her right arm and held it. "Because... I just want someone to love me. Not just as a friend but as a soulmate. I'm supposed to be cute like my Eeveeloutions... but... I guess... I don't know."
Dot gently and playfully fluffed her own hair. "Don't doubt yourself. I mean, look at me. No one has a crush on me, even as Nidothing. Thank goodness Liko sees me as a friend and a fan crush. But it doesn't mean that I'm sad that I don't have anyone."
"What if I failed to get to Ash and be with someone else?"
Dot smiled warmly and chuckled. "Then that's your choice, my friend. And when that time comes, that someone else will definitely want to be your lover. Who knows, maybe that might possibly change your conflict between you and Nemona for Ash."
Penny understood everything Dot has said and patted her shoulder. "Wise words, Nidothing."
That made Dot get the giggles. "Aw! Thanks! I'm happy to help."
Then she noticed that Dot's hair has always covered her eyes, even if when she was younger. "You know, you're cute as yourself and Nidothing."
Dot never expected Penny to say such complimented things like that and felt surprised and blushed a bit. "Huh. Really...?"
Penny nodded. "You should show your eyes more, you know", she murmured to Dot as she adjusted her hair to expose Dot's eyes. Penny looked at how Dot's eyes looked. Her heart was fluttering for minutes. "Why cover your purple eyes? Look at them! They're beautiful, Dot."
Dot got a bit nervous. "Because I'm shy. It's a personality habit for me. I just act nervous around people that's all. Even my Mom thinks I shouldn't have my hair like that just to cover my eyes."
"Aw, Dot! I use to feel that way too! But you know what, ever since I met Arven, and Ash, and you guys, I felt more open to people. And I suppose you do too, huh?" Penny caressed Dot's cheek and Dot accepted it by nuzzling her cheek onto Penny's hand. "Yes. Yes I definitely feel more open around people now. That's thanks to Liko mostly.", Dot responded. "I'll keep my eyes more seen for now on."
Dot finally manages to finally express herself even more since Penny helped her out just now. Hearing her embrace the change of herself to someone new with her new look made Penny beam. She gently pets Dot's head. "You're eyes are so majestic and cute. You should show the others."
Dot smiles and says, "I will take that into consideration."
Then Penny gasped and got all embarrassed that she forgot about Dot's livestream. "Oops! I forgot! Go back to your livestream!"
Dot ruffled her hair nervously but softly. "Oh gosh you're right! Thanks for reminding me! Goodnight Penny!"
"Goodnight Dot!" Penny said before speed walking out of Dot's room to close the door.
As the livestream is unpaused, more fans popped yo already. "And I'm back folks! Seems like we have our fans incoming again!"
Penny turns her back to the door and leans in on it and slowly drops down to the floor while sighing passionately and then bit her lip. She felt like there was some new affectionate connection with Dot other than Ash now. Maybe she started falling in love with her.
But now she has a choice, it's either Ash or Dot. But Penny thought about still going the route of going for Ash and fighting Nemona for it which is a pretty messed up decision despite everything she's done already. Looks like Dot will have to wait even though her being the one for Penny is straightforward.
"Wait. I'll focus on Dot when I'm ready", she whispered so that Dot doesn't hear her through the door. "Right now I need to focus on my love for Ash." She starts getting up and tip toeing to get some sleep.
It was morning time. And Ash and Nemona got up from the couches in the living room. Juliana woke up from her bed in her room and yawned while stretching her arms up.
Ash, Nemona, and Juliana get dressed and ready to take Atticus down. Juliana had her casual academy uniform on with her blue hat.
"Is everyone ready to do this?!", said Ash.
"Si!", Nemona says, saying yes Spanish.
"Payback time!", said Juliana, rubbing her hands together. She's ready to fight back and get revenge on the enemy who made her sick.
"Good! Let's go!"
The three teens walk outside but then their faces turn into a confused but amazed smile. There was snow lying on the ground even though it's warm outside. There was burning hot ice shards laying around as well.
"I'm starting to get it. It's National Kyurem Day!", Juliana said excitedly. "It's the day of the Kyurems. Our region has a tradition here."
Winged King even appeared out of the Poké Ball and played in the snow. Ash was laughing that his Koraidon was enjoying himself. Juliana crossed her arms and smiled in jealousy. "I wish I could enjoy this with that thing", she grumbled.
Nemona comforted Juliana by hugging her. "Little nugget!", she cooed. "The other Koraidon is still out there somewhere. You'll get one, I promise."
Nemona supporting Juliana to catch another Koraidon made her feel more loved. "Thanks."
"You're welcome."
Ash gave Koriadon scratches on hus head. "We can play in the snow later. Right now we have to find a Team Star base."
"KYU!!!"
A White Form Kyurem hovers amongst Ash and his friends.
"Look! It's Kyurem!", says Juliana.
"Kyu! Kyu. Kyurem."
"You know we're it is located?", Ash translated.
"Kyurem. Kyu."
"Can you show us please? We need to head there right away", Ash asked the White Form Kyurem,
"Kyu!"
The gang hopped on Winged King and they all followed the White Form Kyurem to Atticus's Team Star base.
As they arrived, the three hopped off of Winged King and Ash recalls it back to the Pokeball. And then looks up to the White Form Kyurem just to say thank you.
The White Form nodded in a response of you're welcome before walking away.
Atticus arrives with his Starmobile. "Wonder what took you fiendish kids so long" He's been waiting for Ash and his friends this whole time.
Ash flashes his Pokéball and gave Atticus and his Revavroom a stare down. "You think we're the fiendish ones? Not to mention you poisoned our friend!"
Atticus looks down at Juliana with a solemn face. "Ah yes. The little venomous fighter who I lost to in the first Pokémon battle. I had no intention." His voice was meant as lying about it.
Juliana got amped up with madness knowing what he did. "Shut up, you toxic snipe! Lie all you want, but you tried to ambush me! Now me and my friends are returning the favor."
Atticus snickered. "Very well. Ready for round two. And this time, try not to get poisoned again."
Juliana smirked determinedly and deviously as if she had a master plan. "Oh, I'm way ahead of you. Go, Houndoom!"
Houndoom howls after rising from its Pokeball. "HOUND!"
The Navi Squad comes to attack. Ash and Nemona start preparing their Pokémon. "Go, Crocalor!"
"Go, Lycanroc!"
"Cro!"
"Lycanroc!"
"You two handle the squad! I got this!", said Juliana with utter confidence in her voice.
Ash gently held Juliana's hand with a worried-faced look. "Are you sure? We can help you. You don't have to battle seriously by yourself."
"Well... If it means keeping my distance and letting my Pokémon do the job, then I can handle myself", she assured Ash.
Ash looked happy that Juliana was fully prepared to finish the fight, and ran to help Nemona against the Navi Sqaud.
Juliana gives Atticus a souless angered look while Houndoom stood with dominance being prepared.
Atticus brought out his Pokeball and looked ready for a Pokémon battle. "Lovely how your that scoundrel I've poisoned just send payback against me. You have some nerve baring your fangs at Team Star."
Juliana gave off a vicious growl to prove that point of baring her fangs against Atticus just to aslo scare him. But Atticus was calm and didn't even flinch at all. Then she had a smug face and said, "I may not have real fangs. But at least I have the apex predatory carnivorous guts to take your base down!"
Atticus chuckles but then gets serious. "Is that so? In that case... Come then, villainous wretch! A plunge into grim poison shall be your well deserved fate."
Juliana was in a dominant heroic stance as her Houndoom is too. "I'd rather win this battle in peace than writhe into the clutches of pain from your venomous waste of space."
"En Garde!" Atticus gets ready to throw the Pokeball to spawn his Pokémon on the Starmobile platform. He sends out Skunktank.
Juliana scowled at the Pokémon that poisoned her and made her sick. "That conniving little punk."
"—SKUNK—"
Atticus let out a charmful laugh to show off. "Hahaha! Naught but punishment awaits thee, wretch! A plauge on your house!"
But Juliana wasn't just going to let him try to talk smack even though she doesn't know why he's talking like that. "Hm! I don't know what that means, but you're the one who's going to be plagued you jerk!"
"Skunktank, stealth mode with Venoshock!", Atticus commanded Skunktank.
"Skunk-SKUNK!!!"
Then Juliana was prepared for Houndoom to use a move too. "Houndoom, use Flamethrower!"
"HOUND-DOOM!"
The Venoshock gets charred and Houndoom's Flamethrower burns Skunktank which also leaves off a nasty burn.
Atticus was shocked in disbelief. "No! You fool! How did thee get strategic!"
Juliana smirked. "Now watch this, use Taunt!"
"Hound-Hound-Hound-doom" Houndoom starts taunting the Skunktank which gets it enraged.
"SKUNK-SKUNK-SKUNK-TANK!"
Atticus was bluffing though. "You think that'll work? Skunktank, another Venoshock!"
But Skunktank yells at its Trainer. "SKUNK!!!"
This made Atticus very disappointed. "How dare you! You're supposed to be fighting not disobeying my-" But then he realized what Juliana just did as his eyes open wide. "No... the Taunt... It disabled Venoshock!!!"
Juliana had more of an idea to torture battle the Skunktank, but would be very risky to say the least. She took a really deep breath and speaks to her Pokémon in a soft voice. "Houndoom, I know it'll hurt, but you trust me right?"
Houndoom smiled, gracefully willing to do what it's Trainer is suggesting and nods it head. "Hound."
"Okay, I need you to use Pain Split."
Houndoom did what it was told and starts thrashing attacks at Skunktank and itself.
Now both Pokémon were equally damaged.
"You...! What kind of game are you playing?!", Atticus asked suspiciously.
"A game of cat and mouse", Juliana said as a pun.
"How about a game of just lose already! Skunktank, use Toxic!"
Skunktank uses Toxic but Houndoom dodges it. It's however hurdling towards Juliana. "Not again", she mumbled seriously.
She throws off her blue hat into the air and then does a backflip like some sort of agent super spy and dodges the flying poison and sticks the landing. She then grabs her falling hat and puts it back on. "Haha! I dodged it this time!"
Atticus was slowly clapping his hands. "Oh bravo. You've finally managed to handle the battle well. Should've still commanded your Pokémin to jump in front of you. Observe! Skunktank, use Toxic again!"
More Toxic is rushing towards Juliana but Houndoom jumped in front of the Toxic without its Trainer telling it to and gets poisoned.
"Oh Houndoom", Juliana cooed, feeling awful for her Pokémon. She looked up at Atticus feeling totally upset he did that. "You're gonna regret that!"
Atticus laughed teasingly at Juliana and Houndoom. "No more games, wretch. Now use Venoshock!"
Skunktank attack with Venoshock but Juliana had one more trick up her sleeve.
"Houndoom, I'm sorry, but use Destiny Bond!"
Houndoom prepared a Desting Bond which left Atticus in shock again. "USE WHAT?!"
As Skunktank hit Houndoom with Venoshock, Houndoom fainted. But a ghostly sorcery of Destiny Bond hit Skunktank which also resulted in it fainting.
Atticus was ticked off by the loss and recalled Skunktank. Juliana recalled Houndoom. She held the Pokéball with Houndoom in it close to her chest, hugging it. "I might've risked it too much. But you did so well my sweet dark mutt." She is filled with a bit of grief but also is happy she won. But the Pokémon battle wasn't over yet.
As Ash and Nemona finished the Navi Squad, they go to help Juliana.
"We're here to help now!", said Nemona.
Juliana nodded and smiled, knowing she can't risk the battle alone too much, but at least she learned from her mistakes by not getting sick again. "Good! Get ready!"
"Go Muk!" Atticus sends out Muk.
"MUK! MUK!"
Juliana didn't like that Pokémon that much. "Ew! I hate those things. They're disgusting".
Ash laughed nervously from Juliana's comment on that species of Pokémon. "Juliana! That's not a nice thing to say!"
Juliana begged to differ and had an uncomfortable look on her face. "That's not a nice thing to see. It looks like someone made human eyes and hands out of goo. And also made it have lips."
Nemona agreed and shook her head feeling disgusted. "Juliana is right. Me no like. Eso es simplemente raro.
Maybe it's best I don't tell those two I have a Muk back at Kanto for now.
It was time to finish this so Atticus rushed things by also spawning in a regular Revavroom.
Juliana sent out Espathra. "Come on out, Espartha!"
"ESPA!"
"Oh cool! That's Espartha?!" Ash scans the Espartha.
Espartha, the Ostrich Pokémon. A Psychic Type. It immobilizes its opponents with psychic power and its sprinting is clocked at 120 mph.
"Fantástico! Espartha is Psychic Type and it's the Poison Type's weakness", Nemona added. "Juliana actually has an advantage!"
"Enough! I'll show you who has a true advantage!", Atticus shouted. "Muk, use Sludge Wave!"
"MUK!"
"Now Revaroom, attack with Iron head."
Ash tells Crocalor to use Flamethrower on Revavroom while Nemona tells Lycanroc to hit Muk with Stone Edge.
Crocalor burns the Revavroom with Flamethrower while Stone Edge cripples the wave of posion and hits Muk.
"Espartha! Use Lumina Crash on both of them!"
Juliana's Espartha knock out both Muk and Revavroom with Lumina Crash and they both fainted.
Atticus growled furiously until Juliana says something to him.
"Guess what, Atticus. You REALLY lost this time! And I really won. Good will always prevail against bad people like you. You can never poison us."
Atticus eyes widened a bit as if Juliana might be right.
"Because we can be cured from it, by working together as one." After saying that Ash and Nemona stood between Juliana and gave her a hug and Juliana also gave them hugs with her open arms. They all smiled while hugging.
Atticus however changed his mood back to how he was and decided to end this once and for all. "I can at least try to plague you all! My Starmobile Revavroom, use Wicked Torque!"
"REVA—!"
Juliana, Ash, and Nemona stood there ground, preparing for their final moves. They all Terastallized their Pokémon into the Pokémon Typing.
Crocalor Fire Tera.
Lycanrock Rock Tera.
And Epsartha Psychic Tera.
"Crocalor, use Fire Blast!", commanded Ash.
"Lycanrock, use Double Team with Stone Edge!", Nemona yelled.
"Espartha, use Psybeam!", Juliana demanded.
Nemona's Lycanrock cloned itself and then it and the clones used Stone Edges as in plural and the start striking towards the Starmobile while Crocalor blasted Fire Blast and Espartha blasted Psybeam at it.
Atticus eyes widen with huge dreadful fear and jumps out of the Starmobile and sticks the landing. And the Pokémon moves causes a huge explosion. It seems Ash and his friends are getting even more stronger even since this is the similar way that Mela was defeated during their first Team Star mission.
Atticus fell to his knees, shaking and looking down in fear. "My Revavroom... you murdered my Starmobile."
"How true.", Juliana blurted out. "How many Starmobiles are we killing today?"
Nemona started thinking im her head and counted her fingers. "We've defeated three Team Star members, so tres." She says three in spanish.
The three Trainer recalled their Pokémon after their Terastal forms wore off.
Clive saw the whole thing and clapped his hands proudly. "Well done. Well done you three."
Juliana smiled and waved at Clive. "CLIVY! Can I call ya Clivy?! You're hear!"
Clive fluffed up his wig. "Yes, I have arrived at last! And because of that silly Atticus's actions, I'd like to have some words for him. But first..."
A six Porygon-2s with police hats levitate next to Clive; three on the right and three on the left. "I think it's about time this poisonous ninja does some time for a week. Behold, the Paldea Police!"
The Porygon-2 police hover towards Atticus and scan him before Clive walks over to put handcuffs on him that one of the Porygon-2s gave him. One of the Porygon-2s robotically speak to Atticus while these good deeds are happening.
Don Atticus. You are under arrest for the first-degree attempt in kidnapping a child and their Pokémon and poisoning them with the species of Poison Type Pokémon. Anything you say, can and will be used against you in a court of law.
"See you around Operation Starfall crew. Only two more to go." Clive and Atticus walk away with the Porygon-2 police.
"Adiós!", Nemona shouted to Clive while she, Ash, and Juliana wave goodbye to him.
But one Porygon-2 took Liko's Rotom Phone out of Nemona's pocket.
"Alright guys, let's go home.", said Ash.
But Nemona pats her pants pockets and then panics. "Oh no! Where's Liko's phone?!"
Juliana then pointed to the Porygon-2 who stole it. "Look! Up there!"
Ash grow concerned and jumped with worry. "Hey!", he shouted to the Pokémon. "We need that! You can't just take it."
But the Porygon-2 respondeds with this.
On the contrary of the rightful law, you and Nemona are actually in violation.
Nemona reared back feeling wounded for her and Ash being blamed for something they didn't even do. "Amigo... What do you mean in violation. We had to take it... We're so sorry! We didn't mean to!"
According to the tracking device hack rankings from companion Dot, you have stolen this device that belongs to logically Liko, did you not?
Ash and Nemona felt awful that the also did something criminal even though they had their reasons to. Juliana didn't know what to say but her heart felt shattered in two.
Since you have stolen a person's valuable device, you are given a warning and the human police of Paldea has stated that we retrieve the Rotom Phone to the owner of Liko.
But Ash tries to explain what's happening. "We're sorry, Porygon-2 officer, but something extremely dangerous is up with Liko!"
You are lucky we don't take the both of you in as well, Ash Ketchum.
The Porygon-2 floats away.
Ash and Nemona frowns of shake but Juliana comfortably assures them everything is going to be okay. "Oh come on you two, it wasn't your fault. We defeated Atticus! That's all that matters."
"Thanks Julie...", said Ash in a sad tone. "I just hope it doesn't get any worse.
But then some noise happens. A noise that sounds like it's getting closer. Like some sort of beam is heading towards the heroes. Ash senses something is wrong while Nemona and Juliana look at Ash with worry.
"Ash? What's wrong big guy?", asked Juliana.
"Sweetie...? Do you hear something", Nemona wondered.
As they both ask him something they both gently handle his hand, comforting him liek he's about to freak out that something dangerous is nearby.
"Ash... It's okay. Tell us what is it? Is something scaring you? I promise we're right here", Juliana said in a soft voice as she pats Ash hand.
Ash face was serious and vigilant. He thinks there's some far away light in the sky amongst the trees in a blue and red spark color heading towards him and the girls.
But then as it got real closer it was a full powered Dragon Pulse. Ash turned around quickly. His teeth gritting in seriousness.
"I was wrong!", he said in alertness. He jumps up to protect Nemona and Juliana from the Dragon Pulse and gets stricken and hit hard by it, also electrocuting him in the process.
"OH ASH...!", Both Nemona and Juliana gasped and screeched.
Ash falls to the ground all piled in dust around his clothes and a huge third degree burnt bruise on his chest, damaging his shirt. He's knocked unconscious.
As Nemona and Juliana look up, the gasp with terror seeing a Paradox Pokémon from Area Zero hover down amongst them. It could only mean this...
Liko's Roaring Moon came out of nowhere, which Nemona and Juliana don't know. Not even Ash. Until now as the two Paldean girls see Liko riding on the Roaring Moon and Liko emits a vile cackle.
"Hello. Nice to see some familiar faces", she said as she smirked and pouted her hand on her cheek.
Nemona and Juliana looked sad-mad and looked Liko dead in the eyes.
"Why?! WHY?! Ash did nothing to you!" Juliana was holding back tears as she got so fed up with Liko and had her left hand clench into a fist so hard, she wanted to punch Liko as hard as she wanted im the face. "HE'S A SWEET TRAINER AND YOU ALMOST KILLED HIM!!!"
Liko scoffed jokingly. "Sheesh. At least he's alive. Don't take it too personally." The same Porygon-2 gave Liko her Rotom Phone back. "Thanks. I'll be taking that."
Nemona gasped in utter shock. "That Porygon was hacked?! This must've also been Dot's doing!"
Liko chuckled at the sight of it. "When did you get so smart, Nemona? Instead of just being Ash lover that is? Do we give you a pet name, Spanish girl...? Or do we call you collateral damage?!" She laughed and patted her hands on Roaring Moon's back and laughs. Her Roaring Moon also laughs with its Trainer.
"SHUT UP, DIABLO!!!", Nemona screamed angrily at Liko. "How about I kick your butt!"
But Liko didn't want to trigger those two even further and decides to say her last words to them. "Honestly, I wish ya did. But I'm mentally tired. You know what they say, people have their morals."
Liko gives a depressive smile on her face as she looked down on an injured Ash. "Now you know my anger and the pain I've felt for 6 years... Kind of makes you wonder if you can help the people in pain. But see ya anyways."
Before Liko and her Roaring Moon flew away, Juliana was still mad but also concerned and asks for Liko at least once. "WAIT!"
"Huh?", Liko gasped cutely.
"If you want to change, then STOP THIS! And lets is HELP YOU! OKAY?! PLEASE?! ASH TOLD ME EVERYTHING THAT'S GOING ON WITH YOU! LET US SAVE YOU!"
She still smiles while hiding her sadness and replies this to the Paldea girl. "Oh Juliana. Not you too."
Juliana gasped and seethed. "Not me too—?! What the Giratina is that supposed to mean, Liko??!!"
Liko sighed in complete tiredness. "It means what it means. I can't just explain everything now, can I? See you around."
Liko and Roaring Moon fly away.
Nemona and Juliana then worry about Ash who's unconscious on the ground. Nemona picked up Ash and layed him on her lap and them held his arm to her face. She starts crying and hugs Ash while screaming that he wakes up. "Ash! Please wake up! Wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up! Please!!! We can still fight this!!! PLEASE!"
Juliana touched his neck with her two fingers and firmly but gently pressed on it to find a pulse. Thankfully he still has one. "OH ARCEUS! Nemona! He's okay! He's really okay!!! He has a pulse!" As she says this she try to keep a smile before flushing lots of tears from her eyes and sobbing hard. "NEMONA! You have to call 911! Please! He's hurt!", she squealed in her breath while crying as she sees Ash chest full of a horrific bruise.
Nemona trembled as she also saw his injury and dialed the hospital with her Rotom Phone rapidly without another word.
"It's okay Ash! I'm here! Your girlfriend Nemona is here too! Okay?!" Juliana yelled softly and comfortingly to Ash before gently pressing her lips on Ash left hand as a friendship kiss.
"We're gonna get through this... together!"

And that's the end of that! Man this chapter was a long one huh?! But it was something! Ash is injured?! Oh no, who saw that coming, Lol!

Also, an additional note. So you know how in chapter 11 it's explained that Liko has PTSD and depression. We the other thing on the list her being Melancholic other than the means of Major Depression Disoder. She has veen going through some rough patches when it came to being bullied, losing a family member, and having trust issues with specific people. Her morals and purpose has also become twisted from doing half activities, to completing her Arceus goal which could possibly make her feel burdened or worse. But hey, how will she be helped? You find out for yourself in the future of this fanfic.
Furthermore, I heard a reply that we are getting closer to something epic when it came to Team Rocket and The Explorers team up! And yes we are! We're are getting a bit more closer than ever. Especially the androids of Arven's parents thing, but that'll have to a tad bit wait just to flesh out the characters and everything else.
