A/N: Hello, one and all! Welcome, welcooooome!

This is...a little something of what is to come in Blade of Olympus. Not exactly a chapter, but at the same time somewhat relatable.

Think of it this way: Naruto is normally a bit overpowered by ninja standards, right?

Taking that into equation, we can concur that in spite of any and all nerfs that I can throw at him, he should probably still be able to overcome any challenges in his way.

Simply put: While the monsters and foes of the Riordanverse are formidable in their own right, they have all but grown used to fighting your conventional demigod.

Keyword being CONVENTIONAL!

And when has Naruto Uzumaki, the Number One Hyperactive Knuckle-headed Ninja, ever been conventional?!

So, in order to hopefully prevent any future disappointments, I have opted to create new opponents for him to face based on his previous adventures in the Greek Mythology world. Most of which would be featured in these short one-shots between chapters.

A sort of...Character Reveal Trailer, if you will...

...God, I should probably leave stuff like this to Ed Boon. *hangs head dejectedly*

Now then!

With everything said and done, may I be the first to introduce you the first Blade of Olympus: Villain Trailer!

20 Miles from Anchorage, Alaska...

...8 Days Later

A good distance away from one of Alaska's largest cities, we come across a rather gory, chilling sight.

Counts of corpses and body parts were left strewn about and lying in the snow, scattered as though a great battle had taken place recently. And yet most of these corpses would appear to have died long ago. Warriors dating back from differing eras, and yet it was here that they were gathered in one place.

However, in the midst of all this carnage was the headless corpse of an emaciated creature. Tall and gaunt, with long spindly fingers, it must have been quite the intimidating sight when it was still alive.

Soon the distinct sound of howling was heard from the surrounding woods, and before long a pack of wolves emerged to feast upon the bodies. The pack was by no means large, yet neither was it small; a good size of number.

There they scavenged upon their newly-found meal, unaware of the potential danger that may soon befall them.

It wasn't until the largest of the wolves started tearing into the rotted chest of the creature that something started to happen.

The alpha of the pack continued to bite further into the chest cavity when it suddenly bit into something hard. The wolf yelped in pain as it cracked a tooth, resolving to eat at the creature's legs instead. Inside of the chest, there was a icy blue crystal where its heart should have been. Soon it started to glow, somehow avoiding the attention of the entire pack. The surrounding snow around the corpse started to pick up from the ground as though caught by an invisible wind and swirled into the air, going faster and faster until it stopped in a cocoon-like form. The alpha of the pack growled out in warning as it slowly backed away from its intended meal, attracting the attention of the others.

Blurred shapes could be seen forming from within the column of snow.

First a torso. Then arms, legs, and finally a head.

The wolves howled and growled in a threatening posture when suddenly the icy chrysalis exploded outwards; some of the pack were unfortunate in being skewered by large chunks of ice. As though feeling the deaths of their packmates, the remaining wolves snarled at the source of the strange ice.

And from within, emerged a human-like being.

It was tall, and looked very much like a human man from a distance. But its skin was of a pale greyish-blue, its face gaunt and the eyes glowed the frightening color of ice. Despite being stark naked to the elements, it did not feel anything. The being merely looked at the pack surrounding it before one of the wolves leapt forth, its jaws eager to take a bite of it.

In one singular fluid motion, the being stepped to the side, formed an ice imitation of a sword, and decapitated the beast. The pack howled in response as it charged at the creature. Gripping the icy sword in one hand, the otherworldly being formed an axe in the other and allowed the pack to come closer. Burying the axe into the skull of one wolf, it threw the sword at another wolf piercing the heart and lungs before forming spears to fend off the remaining six umbers of the pack. Catching one wolf through the eyeball with the tip of his spear, the figure kicked the fresh corpse away before grabbing another in mid-leap, snapping its neck instantly before throwing the carcass harshly unto the ground. Turning to face the remaining three carnivores, the icy humanoid figure crafted three daggers of frost before flinging them at his targets.

Two of which were instantly killed through the mouth.

The third, the alpha, was hit in its leg; it was rendered immobile as the frosty being walked towards it with a frost war-hammer in hand. Standing in front of the downed pack leader, the icy figure tilted its head with a straight expression before raising the hammer above its head.

And immediately brought it down to crush the wolf's skull with a loud splat.

A/N: And that's that!

The first-ever Blade of Olympus: Villain Trailer is up and about!

Seriously, lemme know what you guys think about it. I've only got about as far as the basic idea of the character, but can't think up a good name!

Should I do another one in the future, or just leave it? I AWAIT YOUR ANSWER!

Ah. That reminds me: I almost forgot how important quests are in the Riordanverse. Now I can't write up a good prophecy to save my life, so I'm hoping you guys could help me out! Again, the one who gives out a good quest and prophecy idea WILL be getting a shoutout in my next chapter.

Till next time...

Ciao!
