Eugene vs. Dave
Disclaimer: This is Eugene's TDW Pay-Per-View Debut as he faces off against Dave. ENJOY!
"Welcome back as we just went through a hellacious tag team match up as The Cadets came out on top against a very cocky and arrogant, Ice Dancers." Jim Ross said to Joey and Matt as there were highlights from the match being shown.
"You said it JR they were arrogant and cocky, but they gave everything they had...but it was not enough as The Cadets got the win." Matt Striker said as the highlights stopped.
"Now we have Eugene vs. Dave." Joey Styles said as "Love Hurts" by Nazareth plays as Dave comes out to a mixed reaction while the bell rang.
"The following contest is set for one-fall...introducing first, weighing in at 200 Pounds...he is "Normal" Dave Layfield!" Justin Roberts announced as Dave arrived into the ring.
"Child's Play" by Jim Johnston began to pay as the crowd chanted Eugene as he came out sporting an Atlanta Thrashers Jersey, Atlanta Hawks Cap and carrying a Atlanta Braves Tomahawk and Atlanta Falcons tights as the crowd popped really loud for Eugene's gear while being accompanied by William Regal.
"Making his way to the ring with William Regal...from Louisville Kentucky, weighing in at 242 Pounds he is Eugene!" Justin Roberts announced as the crowd roared extremely loudly as he walked into the ring as he took off the Thrashers Jersey and tossed it to the crowd, and did the same to the cap and tomahawk.
"Let's Go Eugene!" The crowd chanted as the bell rang.
"The match is underway as Dave and Eugene start it off with a collar and elbow tie-up." Jim Ross said as they were doing the collar and elbow tie up as Eugene won the early advantage.
Eugene has Dave in a hammer-lock as Dave counters it with a Tiger Bomb.
"Dave counters the Hammer Lock with the Tiger Bomb and there is the cover." Joey Styles announced as Dave had Eugene pinned with the ref beginning to count.
"1...2..." The ref counted as Eugene kicked out while starting to "Hulk Up" like a certain Hall of Famer.
"Man...Eugene is Hulking up early." Matt Striker said as Eugene nails rights and lefts, nails suplex after suplex like he is Brock Lesnar as the crowd at Philips Arena is going wild.
"The Atlanta crowd is going wild!" Jim Ross said as Eugene nailed several belly-to-back suplexes as he nails an Atomic Leg Drop.
"Eugene can have the win right here." Matt Striker said as the ref began to count.
"1...2..." The ref counted as Dave kicked out as Dave went up top to nail a diving moonsault.
"Bam! Moonsault by Dave and here's the cover!" Joey said as the ref began to count.
"1...2..." The ref counted as Eugene kicked out as Dave was shocked for a second but restarted to focus.
"Dave goes back to work as Eugene is back on fire as there is the Rock Bottom!" Jim Ross shouted as Eugene nailed it to Dave as the ref began to count.
"1...2...3!" The ref counted as the crowd cheered.
"Your winner, is Eugene!" Justin Roberts announced as Dave got pulled up by Eugene and they shook hands as Eugene took Dave under his wing.
"Next we have our first title match with The Hardys against the Surfers in a Ladder Match for the TDW Tag Team Championship next!" Joey Styles said as the camera faded to black.
