Been playing Dragonfable ORPG by Artix Entertainment and noticed the sheer crossover fanfiction potential in the characters and their powers. Naturally, this created a boatload of ideas. However, I wanted to see if others who play(or even those who don't play but look it up) notice it too. Thus, I have come up with a challenge for a Dragonfable and Naruto crossover.
Challenge: reincarnates as a Naruto character!
Rules and Requirements:
-No japanese-dub names, honorifics or suffixes. I find that it gets confusing for those who don't watch the english-sub episodes of Naruto when the author uses japanese names for jutsu or objects.(example:Use 'Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu' instead of 'Suiton: Suiryuudan no jutsu'. Use 'Eight Inner Gates' instead of 'Hachimon') Not everyone knows the japanese names for jutsu, ya know.
-Naruto must be a reincarnated enemy or ally character(come on, the series is called NARUTO for a reason)
-If a Naruto character is a reincarnated ally character(example:Artix, Warlic, Xan(book 3), Tomix, etc.) then they must have traces of their respective personality, powers, and elemental affinity if they have elemental powers.
-If a Naruto character other than Naruto himself is a reincarnated enemy character(example:Sphulchure(book 1), Vaal, Drakath, Akriloth, etc.) then they must have the respective powers of the character, but are NOT found when fighting them at the Inn Challenges.(example:Vaal's artificial soul threads, Xan's(book 1) fire creation, Caitiff's corruption, etc.)
-Chakra must have come about because of the loss of mana. Reason for the loss of mana is up to the writer.
-If Naruto himself is a reincarnated ememy character, then he must have their powers and must be one only found at the Inn Challenges.(example:The Unraveler, The Corrupted Seven Spirits of Sin, Vaal, Super Mega Ultra DOOM Dragon, etc.)
-2 Naruto characters not including Naruto himself must be reincarnates minimum.
-Only one Player OC is allowed to reincarnate per story. Using a Player OC is optional.
-The Land of Fire MUST be the remains of the Greenguard and Swordhaven territories.
-No two reincarnates are allowed to have the same base powers.(example:Vaal's Chaosweaving and Tomix's Master Soulweaving are sub-catagories of the Base Soul Weaver class abilities and thus Vaal and Tomix can not both be reincarnated in the same story as they share the ability to manipulate soul threads as their base powers. The same applies to Sphulchure and Caitiff due to their DOOM powers. This rule includes Player OC armor class abilities.)
-Naruto can not be a Player OC reincarnated. Only an npc or battled opponent.
-Only characters in Dragonfable that can speak the human language during in-game dailogue can be used. This includes non-human races.(example:Dragons, Fairies, Sneevils, Moglins, etc.)
-Naruto's reincarnation must take place before the Uchiha Clan Massacre.
-Naruto can not be the deadlast in the academy. I hate that people who write fanfiction where Naruto is practically jonin level at 6-9 years old seem to think he needs to hide his skills. I get the whole village bad reaction reasoning many use, but most allow their Naruto to take the beatings without fighting back when they put it in and it seems stupid to make Naruto skilled and not defend himself or show that the villagers should think twice before antagonizing him due to his strength. Self defense and all that. They even make him strong enough to do it too 99% of the time! Those who make the academy teachers biased would not be able to have them sabatoge him as it would be too obvious that his great performance wouldn't match his grades. It would cause the hokage and others to get suspicious of the teachers.
-Zabuza and Haku must survive the wave mission.
-Naruto must not have a crush on Sakura if you make her the typical fangirl.
-Sasuke must fail to reach Orochimaru during the Sasuke Retrieval Arc unless he is a reincarnated Player OC.
-Naruto's past life must be revealed to the Hokage at any point before the training trip with Jiraiya.
-Filler chapters' content must be related to the past life of one of the reincarnated characters in some form(example:Another character's awakening, someone finding the book of lore, etc.).
Rules for Genderbent Characters:
-Naruto characters can not be reincarnates of opposite gender Dragonfable characters.(example:Naruto(male) can not be the reincarnate of Jannia or Robina)
-Naruto characters can be genderbent to match a reincarnated Dragonfable character.(example:Naruto(female) can be Jannia or Robina's reincarnate)
-Dragonfable characters who have a confirmed gender can not be genderbent.(example: Tomix, Jannia, Xan, etc.)
-Dragonfable characters that have no confirmed gender can have their gender be chosen by the writer.(example:Akriloth, Super Mega Ultra DOOM Dragon, The Adjudicator, Caitiff(it only possesed Serenity), Greed, etc.)
I truly hope someone takes the challenge. I will do one of my own at some point.
