Sam vs. Lightning
Disclaimer: This is a rematch, from last week's match where Lightning won, Sam is getting a rematch.
"TDW!" The crowd chanted once more.
"Welcome back as we have Sam against Lightning but first Amy and Sammy in the locker room with Funaki." Joey Styles said as Funaki was backstage with Amy and Sammy.
"Why did you save your sister?" Funaki asked Amy.
"She's my twin sister and my flesh and blood, I need to stop fighting with her and I love her." Amy answered Funaki.
"Thanks, back to you." Funaki said as "Super Mario" theme song played as the bell rang.
"The following contest is set for one-fall, introducing first his mother's basement now residing in Los Angeles California… weighing in at 252 Pounds, he is "The Gamer" Sam Rolfe!" Justin Roberts announced as Sam got into the ring.
"Sam almost had a shot at the TDW World Heavyweight Championship last week but Lightning mauled Sam as Lightning gained the upper hand, but Sam asked for a rematch because he deserves it." Jim Ross said as the crowd was cheering.
Rap music played as the crowd booed as Lightning came out to boos.
"His opponent, weighing in at 272 Pounds, he is Lightning Jackson!" Justin Roberts announced as he got into the ring as they began battling it out as the bell rang.
"Here we go and the bell sounds, the match is underway." Jim Ross said as Lightning hammered away with several forearms.
"Lightning getting the upper hand here early…as Lightning is beating up on "The Gamer" Sam Rolfe who's not related to "The Angry Video Game Nerd" James Rolfe but this could be game over early if Sam doesn't do anything." Edge said as Lightning nailed an Exploder Suplex.
"Lightning Jackson is on fire with brutal offense." Joey Styles said as he was setting up for a back body drop before Sam counters with a clothesline as the crowd cheered.
"Sam is fighting back against the winner of Total Drama Revenge of The Island, and there is nothing Lightning can do about it!" Joey Styles said before Sam several forearms before Lightning countered with a Arn Anderson like Spinebuster.
"Yes there is he can stop the momentum just like that." Edge said as Lightning went for the cover as the ref began to count.
"1…2…" The ref counted before Sam kicked out.
"Sam is still in this thing…never say die attitude in this young man Sam Rolfe!" Jim Ross said as Sam got up slowly as Lightning was livid before he is about to nail "Lightning Storm" which is a powerbomb.
"There is a storm that's about to head this way…here in Albany." Joey Styles said as Lightning had Sam up before Sam nailed a facebuster.
"Facebuster by Sam Rolfe!" Edge said as Sam was dragging himself to Lightning's body.
"Sam cover's Lightning." Jim Ross said as the ref began to count.
"1…2…" The ref counted as Lightning kicked out again and this time…Sam was setting up for his finisher which is called "Game Over" which is a "Package Piledriver" as Lightning got up.
"Game Over for Lightning Jackson perhaps?" Edge said as the ref began to count.
"1…2…3!" The ref counted as Sam Rolfe won the match and the crowd cheered and the bell rang.
"Here's your winner…Sam Rolfe!" Justin Roberts announced.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we have received word that Daniel King has officially gotten the matches down for next week." Jim Ross said as Daniel King was in his office.
"Ladies and Gentlemen here you go…the matches for next week are the following." Daniel said as he cleared his throat and began to read his match card.
"The opening contest will be Trent going up against one of the biggest wrestling stars in the world in Kenny Omega." Daniel King said as the crowd cheered.
"Kenny Omega who's the leader of the Bullet Club is coming to TDW for one night only!" Joey Styles announced as the crowd began to chant "Holy Shit" as Trent looked at the TV Screen backstage.
"Whoa! Cool!" Trent said as he was looking forward.
"That's not all…Geoff, Brody, I know you two are looking for some major competition so you two are going to face one of the greatest wrestling tag teams in the world today…in The Guerillas of Destiny aka Tama Tonga and Tonga Roa who also represent the Bullet Club!" Daniel said as the crowd popped even louder.
"In the words of Marlon Wayans, but wait…there's more! This match is a New York City Death Match!" Daniel said as the crowd popped even louder.
"OH MY GOD! A DEATHMATCH FOR THE TDW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP NEXT WEEK!" Joey Styles said as the crowd chanted "TDW!" before the chanting stopped.
"It's my turn now…Gwen and Courtney, you two are facing the Female Dream Team next week in a tables, ladders, and chairs match for the TDW Women's Tag Team Championship!" Eric Bischoff announced as the crowd cheered.
"Wow, Eric…you impress me, not bad." Daniel said to Eric.
"Thanks, and you are quite the professional, hey listen I apologize for ruining your main event last week, and your right this is not WCW and this is not TNA…no I am not manipulating you and this isn't something set-up by me and the Empire, it's from my heart." Eric told Daniel.
"Thanks anyway the next match is Heather and Sugar vs. Dawn and Sammy in a women's tag team match." Daniel said as he began to read the rest of the matches.
"The co-main event is Owen vs. Tommy Dreamer for the TDW Hardcore Championship and finally the main event for next week will have the TDW World Heavyweight Champion Alejandro and Jacques going up against Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada." Daniel said as the crowd popped really loud especially loud for the last one.
"You have got to be kidding me!" Jim Ross said as the crowd chanted "This is Awesome" and Daniel smiled.
"Well, I even got better news…in two weeks time…after Barely Legal, we will be traveling to Tokyo, Japan to be at the Tokyo Dome to face NJPW…it is TDW vs. NJPW." Daniel announced as the crowd cheered once again.
"We are going to Tokyo!" Joey Styles said as the crowd chanted "YES!" before the chanting died down.
"We'll be back with Dave vs. Leonard next!" Edge said as the camera faded to black.
