Mike vs. Alejandro
Summary: In this chapter, we determine who'll challenge Ennui Wilson for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship in Los Angeles.

The fans were reeling from a completely physical and intense match between "Rowdy" Ali Moonbeam and LeShawna Jackson.
"Hello again everyone, welcome back to Total Drama Wrestling as we have seen a great match between the TDW Women's Champion "Rowdy" Ali Moonbeam and LeShawna Jackson." JR said.
"Those two women gave everything in that ring but in the end Ali put LeShawna in the Sharpshooter and extended her undefeated streak to 19 and 0." Mauro said also.
"But now we have a match between two old foes where the winner will become the number one contender for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship at New Year's Revolution!" JR said before the bell rang.
"Ladies and Gentlemen... this is our co-main event of the evening! A no disqualification match where the winner will become the next number one contender for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship!" Justin Roberts announced as the crowd roared to loud cheers before "For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica played then Alejandro Burromuerto came out to loud boos looking very unhappy while he also had a smirk on his face that showed that he didn't care.
"Introducing first, he is the leader of The Empire... from Barcelona, Spain... weighing in at 245 pounds... Alejandro Burromuerto!" Justin Roberts announced.
"Alejandro must again earn a chance to regain what he lost this past Sunday at Christmas Miracle." JR said before Alejandro entered the ring.
"However, he has to first deal with an old rival who's on the hunt for that belt as well." Mauro said to JR while the music stopped playing.
"That's right Mauro, that old rival... is this man." JR said before "Demons" by Imagine Dragons played as Mike came out to cheers.
"His opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada... weighing in at 220 pounds... Mike Smith!" Justin Roberts announced while Mike headed down the entrance ramp before stopping, glaring at Alejandro with a look of pure determination and confidence while the Spanish arch-villain did the same to him.
"Every single time Mike Smith has gotten this opportunity, Alejandro has always been the one to steal it from him!" JR said to Mauro.
"Mike isn't going to let that happen again, I can see in those eyes of confidence that would make the late Bruno Sammartino proud, as he is ready to finally show everyone who he is in the squared circle." Mauro said to JR before he slid under the ring before nailing a spinning heel kick.
"Oh! Spinning heel kick by Mike Smith!" JR said before the bell rang thus the match began with Mike tackling Alejandro down.
"Here we go and the winner will challenge Ennui Wilson for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship at New Year's Revolution!" Mauro said while Mike and Alejandro fired blows after blows against each other.
"You are never going to ever fight for that belt, Mike Smith! You are nothing but a loser to me! I have proved it every single time against you!" Alejandro shouting during the brawling.
"Not this time! This is my chance! I am going to make you regret you ever stop me!" Mike shouted back at Alejandro before the two were now back on their feet.
"Both men are now back up." JR said before Mike nailed a Hurricanrana DDT to Alejandro who was Irish-whipped out of the ring.
"What a Hurricanrana DDT by Mike Smith sending El Diablo out of the ring after being thrown out of it!" Mauro said before Mike nailed Alejandro with a suicide dive.
"Followed up by a beautifully well done Tope Suicida!" Mauro said before Mike grabbed some barbed wire, wrapped it around his fist and started to punch Alejandro in the head.
"Oh! Mike is already releasing his extreme side and is giving Alejandro a crimson mask!" JR said while Mike punched Alejandro face over and over, busting him open before he soon attempted a crossface chicken wing suplex on the announcer's table but Alejandro reversed it and nailed Mike with a hard Hammerlock DDT which put him through the announcer's table.
"Alejandro with a Hammerlock DDT through the announcer's table! Now what does the former TDW World Heavyweight Champion have left on his plate?" Mauro said before Alejandro glared at Mauro.
"Mauro, that's next TDW World Heavyweight Champion!" Alejandro shouted at Mauro before he dragged Mike onto the ring apron.
"Oh come on Alejandro! Don't do this!" JR shouted.
"No Alejandro! NO! NO! DON'T DO THIS!" Mauro shouted before Alejandro proceeded to nail Mike with "El Santo Grail" onto the apron.
"Mamma Mia! El Diablo may have mauled Mike Smith!" Mauro said before Alejandro pinned Mike.
"1...! 2...!" The ref counted before Mike kicked out.
"It is not over yet for Mike!" JR said before Alejandro dragged Mike by his hair, Mike then responded with a hard roundhouse kick to Alejandro's head before he nailed a swinging neckbreaker, then a running knee trying to build enough momentum for a comeback.
"Mike is doing all he can, but Alejandro has always been a step ahead of him." Mauro said before Mike went up top to nail an inverted phoenix splash from the second rope but Alejandro moved out of the way, left the ring and grabbed a barbed wire baseball bat.
"Mike is currently down while El Diablo has that barbed wire bat in his hand." JR said before Alejandro went back into the ring while Mike got back up, and was met with a barbed wire baseball bat causing the crowd to groan.
"Oh! Barbed wire baseball bat to Mike's head!" Mauro said while Mike was dripping blood before Alejandro grinded his face with the barbed wire baseball bat, causing him to bleed even more all over his head.
"Alejandro is shredding Mike's face like grated cheese." JR said before Alejandro then grabbed a board covered with barbed wire and broken glass.
"Alejandro is going to extremes as well." Mauro said while Alejandro placed the board of glass and barbed wire by the corner however as he was going to throw Mike onto it, he speared Alejandro through it, causing his back to bleed.
"OHHHHHH!" The crowd groaned, screamed, and shouted in shock.
"AY DIOS MIO!" Mauro shouted before Mike then nailed Alejandro with the Handspring cutter.
"Mike with the handspring cutter!" JR said before Mike left the ring.
"Wait, where is he going?" Mauro asked JR while Mike pulled out two steel chairs before setting them up as he then nailed a second handspring cutter onto Alejandro, this time onto the steel chairs.
"Mike calls this move 'Terminato', now goes for the cover!" Mauro said before Mike pinned Alejandro.
"1...! 2...!" The ref counted before before Jose Burromuerto ran down to ringside and pulled the referee out of the ring.
"Oh come on! Mike was about to win this match!" JR shouted while Jose and the referee argued before Mike delivered a flying forearm elbow onto Jose before slamming him onto the steel steps and naling a running knee onto him for good measure.
"Mike taking care of Alejandro's big brother!" Mauro said before Mike entered the ring and was met with a brutal chair shot to the head by Alejandro before nailing El Santo Grail onto the chair.
"El Santo Grail onto the chair!" JR shouted.
"Not like this!" Mauro shouted also while Jose puts on a referee's shirt and entered the ring.
"Looks like Alejandro is gonna steal this one once again!" JR said before Alejandro pinned Mike while a certain red-headed individual ran down the entrance ramp.
"1...! 2...!" Jose counted before he was yanked out of the ring by that red headed individual who turned out to be Mike's girlfriend Zoey Brown.
"Here comes Mike's boyfriend Zoey!" Mauro shouted Zoey kicked Jose right in the balls.
"Oh! Right in the Cajones!" JR said before Heather arrived as she began attacking Zoey, causing the two women to brawl while Alejandro grabbed a barbed wire steel chair and attempted another El Santo Grail onto the barbed wire steel chair however... Mike reversed it into an inverted DDT onto that barbed wire steel chair.
"Mike reverses Alejandro's El Santo Grail!" Mauro said before Ali then came out and attacked Heather.
"Here comes the TDW Women's Champion! "Rowdy" Ali Moonbeam taking Heather out of the equation!" Mauro said to JR.
"Ali cost Heather her match against Zoey earlier tonight, as Ali and Heather have been at each other's throats for months it'll come to ahead at Road to Redemption!" JR said before Ali and heather kept brawling meanwhile Zoey pulled out a glass table causing the crowd to go nuts.
"Now there is a glass table, what else could make this match even more bloodier in Boston?" Mauro asked JR while Zoey put the glass table into the ring while Mike set it up and quickly nailed a third Terminato onto Alejandro before placing him onto the glass table as he climbed up the turnbuckle before he looked at his opponent.
"You... cost me my chance every single time you and I battled for that number one contendership... but now...! THIS IS MY TIME! AND THIS IS MY CHANCE! You are finished, Alejandro Burromuerto!" Mike shouted before he nailed an inverted Phoenix Splash onto Alejandro, breaking the glass table causing the crowd to go even more nuts.
"HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!" The crowd chanted loudly.
"MAMMA MIA!" Mauro shouted.
"Mike Smith with the Inverted Phoenix Splash through the glass table, Mike has covered Alejandro, can he beat "El Diablo" finally?" JR said and asked before Zoey revived the referee put his shirt back on him and threw the referee back into the ring.
"1...! 2...! 3...!" The referee counted as the crowd roared when Mike Smith won the match.
"HE DID IT!" Mauro shouted.
"Here is your winner... and the number one contender for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship...! Mike Smith!" Justin Roberts announced while a bloodied up Mike Smith punched the ring mat in total joy and shock before Zoey hugged him tightly.
"Mike Smith goes on to face "The Gothic Nightmare" Ennui Wilson for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship at New Year's Revolution!" Mauro said to JR while Zoey and Mike exited the ring as Mike smiled in total joy and victory before... the gongs were heard.
"Uh-oh." JR said to Mauro.
"The Nightmare is coming." Mauro said back to JR while the gongs kept being banged before Ennui arrived, looking at his opponent as Mike grabbed a microphone.
"I will show you what I am made of, Ennui." Mike said to Ennui.
"Mike Smith, I will see you in 10 days at Hollywood on New Year's Eve." Ennui said before he and Mike shook hands.
"That's correct! Next time we bring TDW to you is in 10 days, on New Year's Eve for New Year's Revolution!" Mauro said.
"Now it's time for the main event, mixed tag team action as the champion Ennui and Crimson Wilson, taking on Chris McLean and Blaineley O'Halloran when we come back." JR said before the camera faded to black.
