We ride back to La Push just as the clouds roll over the horizon daring to bring us a sheet of rain. Jacob parks the motorbike in the makeshift garage and comes jogging out to where I stand on top of the ramp by the entrance of the house. He smiles when he looks at me and grabs a hold of my waist with both hands, pulling me into his body as he kisses my lips.

When he parts from our kiss I look up at him with a little confusion. "You're suddenly very happy."

"No one's home, I got you all to myself."

He rests his forehead against mine and I realize what he means after a second it processes. As much as I want to comply with his suggestion, his bed isn't very comfortable for two people. "You sleep on a cot, I don't think it'd be very good for such an activity."

He chuckles and nods. "Yeah, you're right." He presses a kiss to the tip of my nose, his arms wrapping firmly around my upper back. "There is the floor." I hear the sarcasm in his voice and roll my eyes.

"Don't tell me you want to make your mark on me before we see Caspian again," I rest my chin on his chest, my eyes centered on his face and all the emotions that cross it.

He smirks but after a second, it turns into a frown. He slumps against me and I can feel some of his weight fall onto my body but not enough for me to crumble.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Don't get mad at me for asking this," he starts, his eyes searching for something far behind me. I glance over my shoulder to see the white door of his front entrance. "But…Do you think you guys…you know, had sex?"

A heat wave takes over my face and I am sure I am blushing but when I look up at him again I see how serious his expression is. He's not fooling around, he wants to know for sure and I don't have an answer for him.

"I don't know, Jake…I really don't remember him."

He grunts and his hands run along my back. "I love it when you call me Jake. I don't know why it is, it triggers me in some way."

I laugh and rest my head against his chest. I would take the opportunity to tease him more but I don't think he'd not take the chance of ending it on the floor. If it would be my first time, I don't want it somewhere where it might be a little uncomfortable.

"Speaking of ways to make me feel something," Jacob grumbles. The sound of a truck rumbling can be heard after he speaks. I pull away gently to look over to see Charlie and Billy in a truck pull up next to the house.

"See, we wouldn't have been able to get that far anyhow," I smile up at him and he rolls his eyes. "Besides, like your dad says, he doesn't want little godly babies. Especially since we're both, what, seventeen?"

"Sometimes I forget you don't know your own age. Doesn't stop other couples though."

"Not all those couples are smart," I argue.

"We will be," Jacob promises. "Let me go help my dad." Jacob pulls away slowly, the heat of his body peeling off me like a bandaid and once he's down the ramp and at the truck, I don't feel his warmth at all. I wrap my arms around my chest to comfort myself from the chill but something else nags me.

What if I am not a virgin? What if Jacob won't be my first? I'm his imprint, his one and only, and though I love him, do demi-goddesses have the same thing but as a true love or soul mate? I can only hope that when my memories return, my love for Jacob doesn't change, I am not sure how I'd handle the pain I might cause if my heart swears to Caspian instead.

I don't know who that girl is anymore…But if she fights to return to this body - she'd have more experience in the battle than I would.

I watch Jacob unfold the wheelchair once it's on the ground and help his dad into the chair. Charlie takes control over who pushes the wheelchair as Jacob makes his way back to me, his eyes narrowing when he notices my own facial expression. I am not sure what is going on but I know I feel distraught at the thought of losing how I feel with Jacob.

"Something wrong?" He asks, grabbing a hold of my chin and lifting it for him to examine my face.

"I'll tell you later," I mutter as Charlie pushes Billy up the ramp.

I was afraid Charlie would invite Bella over for dinner after Billy asked if he wanted to join us but he didn't. It didn't stop him from talking about her non-stop though. I don't think Jacob noticed since most of the time he was busying himself with tasks from helping cook to setting up the table to calling Sam for information on events on the beach for tonight.

I kept to the couch in the living room watching him move back and forth and listening to Billy and Charlie talk about Bella's wedding. Apparently Billy is going but Charlie is having a hard time understanding why Jacob doesn't want to go.

"Why not, Jake? Just show up for one dance."

"Sorry, Charlie, but I really don't want to go," Jacob says with his back turned to him. He's washing the dishes of the finished bowls after they were used for prepping.

Charlie grumbles to himself. "Well I can't say I didn't try."

"Foods done, Furiae," Jacob announces, he looks over his shoulder to me with a smirk and a wink.

My heart flutters in my chest and I get up to prepare my plate. "Thanks for dinner," I say to Billy. He nods but it's better than a frown or discouraging words. Maybe Sam called him and told him about the Furie? If he has…then does he know I'd do anything to protect the pack and those who fall in line with them?

I take a seat after grabbing a piece of lemon pepper chicken and white rice and wait for everyone else to sit before beginning to eat. I think that's proper.

"So, how long have you two been going out?" Charlie asks, cutting immediately into a piece of chicken and eating it.

Jacob sits down next to me and smiles at me before he starts to eat as well. I follow suit, watching as they are to make sure I am not being disrespectful. "Two days now."

"A whole two days?" Charlie asks with his thick brows raising above his brown eyes. He looks over to Billy who focuses on eating. "That's not very long. You guys didn't spend much time together before she moved."

Moved? I look at Jacob with questions riddling my face. Jacob shrugs. "Yeah, but I love her." He says so casually.

"Love? You're only seventeen," Charlie says.

"As I keep getting reminded today," Jacob leans back in his seat and crosses his arms. "I can't help who I fall for."

"Just be careful," Charlie replies, going back to eating.

I sit still, my hand holding a fork that is half lifted to my mouth with rice on it. When Charlie gets back to eating, I take a bite of the rice and slowly chew while watching Jacob.

"Don't worry Charlie, we're not Bella and Edward," Jacob says, sitting forward to continue eating. Charlie just grunts but I choke a little on the rice, dropping my fork down on the plate and lightly punching my upper chest to unstuck the food.

"You okay, babe?" Jacob asks, his eyes full of worry and my heart hammering to the new pet name he just gave me. He's only ever just called me Furiae but then again, he was right, we've only been dating for two days. If you'd even call it dating.

I nod and go back to eating slowly, compared to the three men who are chowing down as if they've never eaten before.

I called Caspian after helping clean up dinner. We'd agreed to meet at La Push Beach in thirty but Jacob and I head out early. Once at the beach, we see a few young people at the bonfires that dot the beach. Jacob leads me down to one of the unlit bonfires and starts to light it.

I take a seat on the damp driftwood, it having rained before dinner, and stretch out my legs in front of me.

"Now, tell me what was bothering you earlier," Jacob says while placing a few more logs on the bonfire.

I sigh and ready myself for a conversation I am unsure how it would go. "What if I start remembering Caspian? What if the person I was before overtakes who I am now? In mind and emotions." I refrain from looking at Jacob and stare dumbly at the rocks and sand below my feet.

The fire lights up in a blaze, cascading shadows to dance all over my body. Jacob walks in front of me, leaning down to separate my legs and kneels on the ground between them, his torso pressing up against me. He wraps his arms around my neck and rests his forehead against mine.

"I will win that fight too. I told you. You are mine." His hot breath brushes across my cheeks, warming me up and making me feel comfortable enough to wrap my arms up around his shoulders.

He kisses my lips gently, leaning in to embrace them further into a passionate dance.

Dropping my hands down to his waist, I lean my chest against his the best as I can in this position, my fingers digging into the waistband of his pants to pull him closer. He obliges and drops his arms from around my neck to my waist and tugging me against him completely.

My mind becomes fuzzy and all I want to do is give into this heat. I don't realize my fingers fondle with the buttons of his pants until I hear someone approach from our side.

"Would you two stop it already," Caspian grumbles. "I get it, you two want to fuck but not on the damned beach."

Jacob pulls away first, a low rumbling growl coming from the middle of the his chest.

"Do you want to die or something?" Jacob mumbles between his teeth. His eyes are still closed from our passionate display of affection as he breathes heavily against my neck.

"You invited me, remember?"

"Maybe we can continue this later," I whisper into Jacob's ear, pressing a tiny kiss to his temple and tugging my hands free of Jacob's waistband. "Sorry." I say shyly to Caspian.

"I should have expected this, given the fact you found yourself a new boyfriend," Caspian pouts, his arms across his chest.

"I am not normally like this, am I?" I ask, frowning. The feelings I have for Jacob are intense and deep. Not only am I attracted to him emotionally but physically as well. To an extent I don't think I've felt before given the way I look at Caspian and don't feel the same sort of attraction. Caspian is a handsome boy for the age of seventeen but Jacob isn't the sixteen year old I was with several months back. He's changed significantly. He appears to look like his very early twenties with a body fit for a God.

"You were never like this with me, if that's what you're asking," Caspian comes to sit on the driftwood next to me.

I can feel Jacob smile against my neck, his lips pressing small kisses along the length of my throat before he gets up and sits beside me.

"You two never had sex?" Jacob asks bluntly.

"Oh my god," I cover my face with my hands, feeling the heat of my cheeks flare up again.

"No, we were too busy on the run, chasing and escaping monsters, you know, adult things."

"Is that what you're telling yourself?" Jacob asks.

"You don't need to be a dick," Caspian bites back.

"I am just saying, I fight vampires but I still have time to spend with my woman."

"How many vampires have you killed while you two have gone out?" Caspian asks with a lick of acid in his tone.

I glance at Jacob and see him tense up. His eyes narrow and his hands clench onto the driftwood below us. "Doesn't matter."

"It does if you actually do your job. Try killing things every day, hunt, slaughter, clean up, go home, rest. See if you got time for it," Caspian says.

I am not sure if that's how it always went down or if Caspian actually ever tried. Did I ever try?

"Should have tried harder, Casp. Furiae is the most beautiful girl I laid eyes on, I can't help it being around her," Jacob glares over at Caspian.

"Don't call me that. I am not your friend, you have no right."

"Okay, can we talk about something other than sex?" I ask.

"What do you want to know?" Caspian asks, his tone changing when talking to me, to one of soft and smooth nature.

"Is Furiae my real name or a fake?"

"Furiae is your real name, your last name is Solis."

"Do you have any ideas on how to get my memories back?" I ask. Right about now, I am not sure if I want to get my memories back. From what I have unlocked it was mostly sad, losing both my parents and training seemed mostly part of it.

"No," Caspian sighs. "I wish I knew, honestly, I'd rather have you in my arms than his. How'd you two even meet?"

"From what you said, I was running from a Furie when I fell off a cliff and hit my head. Jacob saved me. He brought me home and helped me through my memories that were returning - and the such," I reply, grasping Jacob's hand and squeezing it softly. He returns the gesture with a kiss to the top of my hand.

"That was several months ago, you've been here the entire time?" Caspian asks.

I shake my head. "Things happened and I was sent away. I came back a couple of days ago and thats when…" I pause and look at Jacob, unsure if I should say anything further. Caspian knows now that Jacob is a werewolf, having seen him phase when Jacob chased after me in the forest but I don't know what else I am allowed to say without giving too much of the Tribe's secrets.

"She's my imprint," Jacob says without a pause. "My one and only and I plan on keeping it that way."

"Imprint?" Caspian scoffs. "Seems unbelievable."

"Are you saying I am lying?" Jacob lets go my hand and stands up, his body turned towards Caspian with his hands balled up into fists.

"How old are you?" Caspian asks. "You look like you're in your twenties? I've seen guys like you playing with girls hearts before just to try to get them into bed."

"Excuse me?" Jacob's voice raises.

"Like you said, she's beautiful - a demi-goddess to boot. I bet she'd be a prize on your shelf."

Jacob is trembling now. I stand to get in between them, placing a hand on Jacob's chest to prevent him from stepping towards Caspian. Caspian simply smiles and stands up as well. He's doing this on purpose…

"How many girls have you brought to this beach before, huh, Jake?"

"Would you shut up?" I snap.

"Or what? You don't want to know the truth? You might be a virgin, Furiae, but he most likely isn't," Caspian continues.

Jacob's no longer trembling, he's shaking violently. His eyes are phasing between the wolf in him and the human. I turn fully to him and place both hands on his face, forcing him to look down at me. "Calm down…Please, calm down."

"He's a werewolf, Furiae. They aren't safe to be around. They are a type of monster," Caspian continues. "Tell me, Furiae, who was he with before you? A girl named Bella?"

My head snaps back to Caspian, my eyes feel like they are gaping out of my skull. How does he know this?

"I heard she's getting married before you came back. From the sounds of it, you're just the second choice but you were never a second choice with me. We've known each other for years, since our training even started."

"She's not second," Jacob breathes. He opens and closes his eyes multiple times trying to adjust to the change, his hands lifting up to grasp at my wrists. "Furiae, get out of here."

My heart drops at Jacob's words of warning. I don't want to leave him. Not like this.

"No," I hiss back at him. Glancing around and seeing that the few people who were on the beach have now become several and some are looking our way. I have to get him out of here otherwise they all might be in danger from proximity. "Come on." I demand. I grab his hands and am surprised when he allows me to pull him off the beach and away from Caspian. He follows, slowly, his eyes never leaving mine even when we enter the forest. After getting a distance from Caspian I stop and replace my hands back onto Jacob's cheeks and breathe along with him.

"It's okay," I whisper. "He's trying to get you all riled up. You have to ignore what he says."

"I haven't been with anyone else," Jacob mutters. "I don't want to be with anyone else."

"And you won't be," I promise. "I'm all yours, remember?"

He closes his eyes and takes deep breaths, his hands still wrapped around my wrists. When his shaking becomes just trembling again he steps into me, pressing his body against mine before dropping his hands around my waist and holding me against him.

"My one and only," he whispers into the top of my head. After a second of silence with just the forest breathing nightlife down on us. He pulls away and looks back at the beach. "I should go kill that guy."

"No," I snatch his wrist. "You should take me back home."

"And then go kill him?" Jacob asks.

"No."

"What? Did you not hear the things he was saying?" Jacob pouts.

"Take me home," I bring his hand up to my face where I press my cheek into his palm.

Jacob glances back at the beach and then back at me, analyzing my face with his attentive eyes. "I don't want him to get away with what he was saying."

"And he won't," I kiss his neck gingerly and whisper against his hot flesh. "Don't prove him right, he's trying to make you a monster. You're not like that, besides…" I sigh, unsure how to say what I am about too. "It kind of turns me on when you are like this."

Jacob's black brows raise and he smirks, "oh?" He asks, leaning down to plant a deep kiss to my lips before pulling away just as quick. "I guess I should get you home."
