I'M NOT DEAD MOTHER F-
*SMACK*
Damn, ow, what was that for.
(you were having another one of those moments.)
Couldn't you have just told me to stop?
(Hmmmm, Nope. this was better. Now hurry up and talk to the audience.)
Oh, right. Hello everyone, I have returned...ish. Sorry, I guess you all can figure out that I am DEFINETLY not going to be able to do the "once a week" thing. I mean if I gave it my all maybe I could but I guess the power of procrastination is strong with me.
(Lazy)
Shut up. But yes, my subconscious is right, I am indeed lazy. Now you're probably wondering "well if you knew you were lazy why would you make a promise you can't keep?" And there are two factors to that answer. First being I was sick and on ibprophine when I made that promise, kinda was out of my mind there. And second when I was finally sane of mind I thought "You know what? Let's give it a shot." But dang did I make a 180.
(Imagine bailing for a year, couldn't be me.)
But you're my subconscious, wouldn't than mean you also bailed?
(Damn you)
Gotcha. Anyway I apologize for the mega year long gaslight. I can't promise it won't happen again but what I can promise is that I will hold myself to the mark of at least doing a chapter every 3 months.
(Somehow this is going to end horribly)
Well aren't you a ray of sunshine. Now without further ado, on with the chapter.
...
(aren't you forgetting something)
What are you talking about.
(the 'thank you's)
Oh right.

For following this story. It's nice to see more people following even when I'm gone. Whether it be because you like the story or because you think it's a joke of a story, but none the less, thank you.
Anyway on with the chapter.
Chapter 5: Most Wanted
Ahh, Republic City afternoons. The birds are chirping, and the streets were packed with cars. It is the perfect day to go for a swing. That is, if you're not being chased by a squad of freaking metalbending officers! Spiderman thought as he web rushed three hundred feet in the air between skyscrapers.
"STOP RESISTING SPIDERMAN!" one of the metalbenders called out from behind, causing Peter to turn to them.
"Ya know, you guys look tired. Why don't you take a break?" He taunted.
"LIKE THAT'S EVER GOING TO HAPPEN!" Captain George shouted. "I WILL NEVER STOP HUNTING YOU. EVEN IF I NEED TO DIVE OFF A CLIFF TO CATCH YOU!"
"Well, if you say so." Peter then turned back around and went straight into a dive. Captain George followed as did the others, however the closer they got to the ground one by one they used their cords to slow down so they wouldn't crash into the ground until George was the only one following. Peter stayed in the dive in hopes that the Captain would fall back as well but to his surprise he didn't.
Crap, he's really risking it all just to catch me. If I'm not careful, he'll kill himself. He thought. Peter then shot out a web line to a nearby wall and swung close to the ground sliding his hand across the surface. Seeing this the captain realized the amount of space between him and the ground was drastically closing. He quickly launched one of his cables to slow his fall however the momentum that built up from it forced him to launch his other cable and come to a complete stop. He looked around for the vigilante but only saw the traffic filled roads.
"Damn it" the captain cursed before him and his fellow officers spread out to search the perimeter. After their search came empty they retreated to a nearby airship. Peter stuck to a wall in an alley way and watched as his former girlfriend's father left.
All clear. he thought before dropping down to the alley floor. He looked at some nearby trash cans and moved them to reveal his backpack. He opened it and inside was his cloths as a civilian. Good thing I was close by. Any further and I might not have made it. he thought as he switched out his suit and placed it in the pack. He walked out of the alley and looked to the sky where he saw the police force airship. There were more officers after me this time. Perhaps captain Stacy got a increase of helping hands? No. They came at me like it was a mission not a side job. Something must have happened and if anyone in this city knows. It'll be J.J.
Peter entered the Bugle and went up to his boss's floor. As he entered Jonah's office, he saw Hoffman and Robbie there as well, but he couldn't help notice the large grin on J.J's face.
"Robbie change of plans this needs to be on the front page."
"On it" Robbie replied as he left the office.
"Hoffman, I need a headline, something that'll scream out to the citizens of Republic City as the end of an era."
"You got it boss." Hoffman said as he followed after Robbie. Jonah then realized Peter was in the room.
"Parker where have you been, when I got the news this morning I needed you here yesterday."
"Sorry Mr. Jameson. Wait, "news"?" Peter told him.
"You didn't hear? Apparently an Equalist gathering happened last night and Amon was there. Rumors say he took away someone's bending and because of this the counsel is putting together a task force to take him down, but that's not all." Jonah said before a massive smile came across his face. "Allegedly Spiderman showed up at this gathering and the counsel has decided that they could only assume the worst and put him on the target list next to Amon. FINALLY, the counsel has seen how much of a menace the web head is and decided to take action!"
That explains why there were more of them this time. "Well good for you Jonah, you got what you wanted." Peter said with a nervous smile. "What do you need from me then."
"Isn't it obvious? I need pictures! But not just any, I need the best ones you got. If the Spider's time is running up I'll need something that people long after will see and remember it as the moment when the city said "No more" to Spiderman." Jonah answered. Peter was waiting for him to say something else until his face changed to anger and he shouted "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! GO, GO, GO!"
Peter ran out of the office quickly.
Great, I guess I should add photoshoot to my schedule.
As the dark night sky began to settle Korra could be seen outside the air temple practicing her stances while listening to music on the radio. She was moving forward and back making turns but all the while returning to the same stance.
VRRR VRRR VRRR* the radio was cutting until a voice could be heard
"Good evening my fellow Equalists." It spoke. Korra quickly turned to the radio recognizing the voice. "This is your leader, Amon" Her face began to drain of emotion staring at it as he continued to speak.
"I'm sure you heard by now that the Republic council has voted to make me public enemy number one, proving once again that the bending oppressors of this city will stop at nothing to squash our revolution. Even going as far as to put their own champion Spiderman as a threat. But we cannot be stopped, our numbers grow by the day. You no longer have to live in fear, the time has come for benders to experience fear."
Sweat began to drip down Korra's face. She lifted her hand and swiped it off her cheek before staring at the large amount of liquid on her hand.
What is this? She thought.
Next Day
Peter was roaming around Republic City as just regular old Peter Parker. He was lost deep in thought, trying to think of a reason for his current situation.
I was always hunted by the police, but this time is different. I am on the most wanted list with a tyrant that has the ability to take away peoples bending. How exactly? I mean sure I was there at the gathering, but I fought chi blockers in front of everyone, that doesn't scream out "they're working together" to me. No someone is trying to get rid of me. According to the papers councilman Tarrlok was the one who motioned for me to be a target on the task force. Peter then came to a complete stop. One step at a time Spidey. Find Connors then deal with Tarrlok. Hopefully Amon doesn't do anything while I focus on that, but first-
"Where am I?" he questioned finally coming back to reality. He looked to his left and saw the Republic City Park. "She used to love coming here." He spoke to himself.
His then eyes widened when he then saw passing in front of him...
Gwen.
She walked to the entrance before turning around to face him with a smile spread across her face.
"Come on Pete." She said before she vanished. Peter shook his head realizing it was just his imagination he continued walking past the park and back to his apartment.
He went into his room and pulled out his Spiderman suit.
"I need to make sure that Connors isn't on that island." He said before switching his clothes.
Once changed he left his apartment from the window again and made his way over to the Pro Bending stadium. He got to the roof and saw there was what appeared to be an attic built on top of the stadium with windows. Even though it was an attic from what he could see inside was made into a home. And inside was none other than the Fire Ferrets Mako and Bolin. He hid under the window making sure he couldn't be seen.
"Well, that's nice. They get to be living in the stadium." He spoke. He then shook his head side to side. "Can't get distracted."
He peaked into the window and saw that the brothers were busy talking to each other. He then made a massive jump and landed on top of the structure and looked out towards Air Temple Island.
"This is as close as I can get. Now comes the unpleasant part." He shot one web line from both hands onto the roof he was on and began to walk backwards. As he kept moving back the tension of the web began to tighten and tighten until it wouldn't pull back anymore. "This should be enough." He told himself. He then lunged allowing both webs to quickly pull and launch him to the island. As he came to a certain midpoint between the island and the mainland he began to descend into and under the cold sea water below. He swam back up for air and began to swim the rest of the way to his destination. He came to a wall on the side of the island and began to spider climb it.
"What I go through to keep people safe."
Hours Later
Damn it, where is he? Peter thought as he moved within the trees of the island. I've been here for hours and there's absolutely nothing.
He then exited the area and came to see the opening where the air temple could be seen. It was a massive area, there was a tower that stood tall, to its left was what looked to be an arena of some sort and its right where the homes were. Even though coming here was for nothing at least it's nice to finally be on air temple island for the first time. And good to know the people here are safe. Well, it's best to leave before a White Lotus sentry spots me.
He began to head towards the tower so he could launch himself back over to the city. As he carefully made his way he snuck on the back side of the houses and spotted a window. With a peak from the inside, he saw a table with food on it and six people around it. At the head of it was counsel man Tenzin, to his left a woman he assumed to be the wife based on the way she was dressed similar to him. Next to her was a little bald boy and on the opposite side was two girls that he knew were their son and daughters based on their attire. He looked to the foot of the table and saw none other than Avatar Korra. They all had their heads bent down and eyes closed. He watched as the counsel man began to say a quick prayer.
"We are grateful for this delicious food. For our happiness. For compassion and-"
"I'm not interrupting, am I?" a new voice spoke. Peter looked to the door behind Tenzin and saw a tall dark-skinned man dressed in blue.
Here comes trouble. Peter thought.
"This is my home Tarrlok, we are about to eat dinner." Tenzin got up and told him.
"Great cause I am famished." Tarrlok said with a smile. "Airbenders never turn away a hungry guest, am I right?" He then made his way towards the end of the table.
"I suppose not." Tenzin replied before taking his seat again. Turning his attention to Korra, Tarrlok smile grew a little.
"You must be the famous Avatar Korra" He said before giving a bow "It is truly an honor. I am counsel man Tarrlok, representative for the Northern Water Tribe." Korra then got up and gave a bow as well.
"Nice to meet you." she told him before taking a seat towards the right of the table giving him room. Once he was seated Peter watched as one Tenzin's daughters that had two yellow buns on the opposite sides of her head quickly move closer to Tarrlok.
"Why do you have three ponytails." She said quickly before sniffing the air. "And how come you smell like a lady. You're weird." This put Peter in a tight spot. He quickly put his hand over his mouth and held it tightly trying to fight the urge of laughing and giving away his position.
"Well, aren't you... precious?" Tarrlok spoke before turning to Korra who was eating her rice with her chop sticks. "So, I've been reading about your adventure in the papers. Infiltrating Amon's rally, that took some real initiative."
"Oh... Thanks." Korra replied, "I think you're the first authority figure in this city who's happy I'm here."
"Republic City is much better now that you've arrived."
"Enough with the flattery Tarrlok" Tenzin spoke out sternly. "What do you want with Korra?"
"Patience Tenzin, I'm getting to that." Tarrlok said. He turned back to Korra and continued. "As you may have heard, I am assembling a task force that will strike at the heart of the revolution as well as get rid of this pesky vigilante bug we have roaming the city." This surprised everyone including Peter.
"Really?" Korra asked.
"What?" Tenzin said.
Uh oh. Peter thought as he continued watching.
"I need someone who will help me attack Amon and vigilante directly. Someone who is fearless in the face of danger, and that someone is you."
"Join your task force?" Korra said before turning away. "I can't."
This left everyone stunned. Korra continued her dinner as everyone just watched her for a moment.
"I must admit, I am surprised. I thought you'd jump at the chance to help me lead the charge against Amon."
"Me, too" Tenzin added.
"I came to Republic City to finish my Avatar training with Tenzin. Right now, I just need to focus on that." she explained.
"That's why this opportunity is perfect. You would get on the job experience while performing your Avatar duty for the city." Tarrlok tried to convince her.
"Korra gave you her answer," Tenzin said defending Korra "It's time for you to go."
"Fine." Tarrlok said and began to stand. "But I'm not giving up on you just yet. You'll be hearing from me soon. It has been a pleasure Avatar Korra." He then gave a bow and walked away. As he walked the little girl with buns quickly stood up and waved at him.
"Bye, bye ponytail man." she said. Peter once again resisted the urge to laugh.
Sometime later (another time skip?)
Korra was outside the housing area practicing her stances once again not knowing that she was being watched until-
"You know I'm kinda surprised." a familiar voice said. Korra stood tall and began looking around her trying to find the owner of the voice till it spoke again. "I for sure was expecting you to join that task force." She then looked up on the roof of the building and saw the masked vigilante sitting with his legs hanging over the edge. "But then again I'm glad you didn't."
"Spiderman? How did you get on the island?" Korra asked.
"I have my ways." he replied and dropped down to the floor a couple feet away from her. Seeing this she got into a fighting stance being ready incase something should happen. "Oh, stop it. You'd think after saving someone three times they would at least trust you wouldn't try to harm them."
"Yeah, well you haven't been very trustworthy yet." Korra said. "Tell me why I shouldn't call for the White Lotus sentries right now."
"Because if you were going to you would have already." Hearing this Korra got out of her stance.
"Why are you here?"
"I'm looking for someone. I thought he would be here, but I was wrong." Spiderman then began to walk around and admire the structures around him.
"What's this person look like? Maybe I've seen him." he then turned back to face her.
"Trust me, if you saw him, you would already know." This confused Korra just as she was about to ask what he meant he cut her off. "You did the right thing turning down the task force."
"Yeah, why's that?" she asked.
"I don't find tge idea if us being enemies as a good thing."
"What, scared you'll lose against me and as I take your spoolight away?"
"What? No. Of course, not jeez. What makes you think that?"
"You've done nothing but try to push me away when my friend Bolin was kidnapped. As if you wanted to be the one who saved him." This struck Spiderman and there was nothing but a pause between them. The silence was all they heard until Spiderman spoke up.
"You're right, I did push you away. But it's only because I'm trying to keep you safe." she made her intrigued.
"Safe from what?"
"Yourself." This caused Korra to chuckle a bit.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" She asked.
"You're the Avatar. It is your destiny to keep the world in balance. But the world is changing, it always will. Threats the world has never seen before rise and you'll beforced into a way of life you're not ready for. One of constant enemies and battles. And once you start, no matter how badly you want to, you can never stop." He then turned back to the building and jumped to the roof. Once on top he turned back to her.
"And believe me Avatar you will want to." After saying that he jumped to the tower. He stuck onto it and began to run up along its side all the way to the top and launched himself back towards the city and into the water.
The Next Day (again? wtf)
Peter had entered his boss's office and could see Jonah, Robbie, and Hoffman gathered around Jonah's desk with a somewhat serious face.
"What's the matter? You three look like you've seen a spirit." he said.
"No but we might as well have." Robbie replied. "Council man Tarrlok is throwing a gala for Avatar Korra, but the photographer we usually send to these sorts of events is out of town."
"Hey." Hoffman spoke up. "Why don't we send Peter."
"I don't think that's a good idea." Robbie argued.
"Why not?" Jonah asked. "He takes pictures of a menace, why not let him take some of the symbol of balance?"
"We already work him to the bone and he's still just a kid. It wouldn't be fair to him."
"It's alright, I can go." Peter told them. Robbie then looked at him with worry.
"You sure Peter. You're going to be there for a long night, and I know you got school tomorrow."
"Don't worry about it, I'll be fine." Peter reassured him.
"Well, you heard the kid." Jonah said before reaching onto his desk picking up a slip of paper and handing it to Peter. "Here's the invitation, you need to be there by eight. If you're late you're fired"
"I'll be there." Peter then left the office and walked over to the elevator. As he was about to enter he felt someone's hand on his shoulder. When he turned to the owner of the hand he could see Robbie.
"Can I help you Robbie?" he asked.
"I just noticed that you've been taking on a lot of assignments lately and wanted to make sure you're okay." He answered. Peter could see the genuine care on Robbie's face and answered.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just got some things going on and I need something to take it off my mind."
"Some times the best way to deal with problems is to take time off for yourself and allow whatever you're feeling to pass." he said. "If you ever need time off just let me know and I'll talk to Jonah about giving you however long you need." He then removed his arm and walked away.
If only I could.
(not even going to write it this time)
Peter was outside the stairs that lead to the entrance of the gala and woah...
This place is huge and fancy. He thought. It's a good thing I even had something to wear. He looked down and saw how he was currently dressed in a black suit with a visible white shirt that had a black necktie. (Black tux suit with necktie. Not great with descriptions) and had his camera hanging on a strap around his neck.
He looked up and saw a black banner hanging from tall pillars on both sides of the entrance with a large full body picture of Korra.
Tarrlok went all out on this party for her even though she rejected his offer to join his task force. Feels off in every way. He then made his way into the building and through the large doorway. As he made his way into the main gala room, he could hear loud music and saw lots of people all dressed in formal attire in their respected national color. He continued deeper into the crowed of people and eventually saw above a group of people a large, tall man with a bald head and was able to quickly identify the person.
Fisk? Why's Kingpin's here?
"She's here!" he heard someone shout near the entrance.
Korra was dressed formally along with Tenzin and his family behind her. She walked through a giant doorway and ahead Korra could hear music and saw a massive ball room. She was shocked at the large amount of people in it and when they saw her, they all began to applaud. As Korra stood stunned, she watched as the three airbender children run off into the crowed.
"I can't believe this is all for me." she said turning to face Tenzin.
"I'm not sure what Tarrlok is planning but keep your guard up. It's not like him to host a party just for the fun of it." Tenzin informed her. They both faced forward and saw as the man himself approached them.
"So glad you could make it Avatar Korra. If you'll excuse me, the city awaits it's hero." He said before leading her away from Tenzin. The two walked some distance before they stopped before a rather pulp man wearing glasses and a red three-piece suit. "Korra it is my pleasure to introduce to you Republic City's most famous industrialists, Hiroshi Sato."
"Nice to meet you." she said with a slight bow as he did the same.
"We're all expecting great things from you." he told her
"Right," she said as she turned her eyes away from him. "Greatness."
"Hey Korra." she heard a familiar voice call out. When she looked back to Hiroshi she saw emerging behind him her teammates Mako and Bolin, but a girl with black hair and wearing a red dress was with them clinging onto Mako.
"This is my daughter Asami." Hiroshi told Korra.
"It's lovely to meet you. Mako told me so much about you." She said to Korra.
"Really" she replied as she folded her arms "because he hasn't mentioned you at all. How did you two meet." Bolin quickly appeared next to Korra.
"Asami crashed into him on her moped." He said very fast before quickly moving away from her.
"Really, are you okay?" Korra asked a little worried.
"I'm fine" he assured her but continued "more than fine, Mr. Sato has agreed to sponsor our team. We're back in the tournament." Bolin then grabbed Mako by the arm excitedly.
"Isn't that great!" he exclaimed.
"Yeah" Korra said a little down before turning away her eyes once more. "Terrific.
"Chief Beifong!" Tarrlok called out. Turning her head Korra saw the police chief walking towards their direction. "I believe you and Avatar Korra have already met." She then gave Korra a stern look.
"Just because the city is throwing you this big to-do, don't think you're anything special. You've done absolutely nothing to deserve this." Korra gave Beifong an angry look right before the Chief began to walk away.
"Councilman Tarrlok." A voice spoke from behind. Korra turned around and was astonished by what she saw. It was a very tall man, and he was very large wearing an all-white three peice suit with a purple necktie. Hiroshi looked skinny compared to this man.
"Mr. Fisk. Glad you could make it" Tarrlok said the man with a rather nervous smile. "Korra, I'd like you to meet Wilson Fisk. The founder and owner of Fisk Industries."
"Nice to meet you." Korra said with a bow.
"It is an honor to meet you Avatar Korra." He bowed.
"So, how are you enjoying the gala?" Tarrlok asked to Fisk.
"It's nice, but I've been meaning to have a talk with you, if you're not to busy"
"O-of course."Tarrlok turned to Korra. "Well, this is your party. Why don't you explore and have some fun, I'll come find you when it's time to speak with the press" he told her before he and Fisk walk away.
Peter saw from the side lines as Fisk and the councilman walked up the stairs and out of sight before he decided to follow.
Some Time Later (wtf, so many time skips)
Korra had talked to so many people but finally managed to find a spot in a hallway on the second floor away from everyone. She then sat on the ground with her back up against a wall and her knees close to her chest.
"This is exhausting." She said to herself. "I lost count of just how many people I've talked to. I swear if someone else tries to talk to me I just might punch them." Just then she heard the sound of footsteps she looked to the right and saw someone emerge from the left side of the corner of the hall. It was a young boy around her age. He had brown hair, green eyes and was wearing a black suit and necktie with a white shirt underneath, black pants and shoes and a camera in his hand. She couldn't put her finger on it but she was sure she saw him somewhere once.
"Did I already pass by here. I think I'm just walking in circles at this point." he said to himself before looking directly at Korra. "Um excuse me." he called out to her as he walked in her direction.
"Please, I'm not in the mood to talk to anyone right now." she told him.
"Oh, well I was just going to ask if you knew the way back to the ballroom. I kinda got lost in this place. Sorry for bothering you." He was turned around and was about to walk away until Korra called out to him.
"Wait." He then faced her again and saw as she pointed to her left. "It's that way." She told him and watched as he smiled.
"Thank you." He said and began to walk in the direction that she pointed to but as he passed by her, he stopped and looked at her again. "Wait a minute, you're Avatar Korra." he said in realization.
"The one and only." She said with a disappointed face.
"No way. How crazy is it that we meet again." He said with an excited expression and tone.
"I'm sorry, "again"?" she questioned.
"Oh, you don't remember, I guess our crash might've done a number on you huh." With that Korra recognized him as the boy who crashed into her the day she came to Republic City.
"You're the boy who crashed into me!" she shouted.
"Ah, don't yell, I'm right here. I also thought we ended things on good terms.
"Right, sorry."
"Why are you out here if your party is back in the ballroom?" he asked.
"I just needed to be some place quiet for a little." She answered as she turned her face away from him. Noticing this he then moved to the opposite wall of the hallway from where she was sitting and squatted down.
"Something on your mind?" Korra then quickly looked back to him.
"No. Everything is fine." she tried to assure him.
"If you say so." He then sat down on the floor with his back against the wall and legs stretched out against the floor.
"I thought you were trying to get back to the ballroom?"
"I was but then I saw someone who looked lonely. And you know what they say, "loneliness loves company"."
"That doesn't make any sense."
"Believe me, I know." Hearing this made Korra chuckle a little.
"Sorry but I forgot to ask for your name." She said. He then smiled, leaned over and reached his hand out to her.
"Peter Parker." he said. Korra reached out and shook his hand.
"You have two names?"
"It's required to create a second name at my work. That way credibility goes out to the right people." he told her as he returned to where he was sitting.
"Where do you work?" she asked.
"At the Daily Bugle"
"Ahh, so that's why you stayed with me." She said in a revealing tone. "You're a journalist looking for an exclusive." This made Peter laugh a little.
"Sorry but no. I'm actually a photographer." He then lifted his camera.
"So what? You stayed to take my picture?"
"No. There'd be no point if I could just take it when you speak to the press."
"Oh, right. The press." Korra said and looked away from Peter again.
"Don't like the press much?" He asked.
"It's not the press I don't like, it's the mountains of questions that they ask all at the same time."
"I see. So, you feel overwhelmed?" She then shot her gaze right back at him
"What? No. I'm the Avatar, it's going to take a lot more than questions to take me down." She said almost sounding insulted.
"Hey, there's nothing wrong with having feelings. Everyone's got them." Korra's face then sterned a bit hearing this.
"I'm sorry but I think it's time you joined the party again." Peter wanted to retaliate but complied. He stood up and went his way back to the music filled room.
What does he know?! Korra thought.
Some More Time Later (I swear to the big G, if there is another time skip, I'm going to beat your ass.)
Peter was back on the first floor close to the stairs. He watched as council man Tarrlok and Avatar Korra came walking down from the upstairs but midway the press came swarming to the base of the stairs taking pictures. Because of his job he was forced to join them.
"Avatar Korra, you witnessed Amon take away people's bending firsthand. How serious a threat does he pose to the city?" A reporter asked.
"I think... he presents a real problem." she answered.
"What about the Spiderman. What is your view on him." another asked
"It ... would be really bad to have an enemy such as him
"Then why do you refuse to join Tarrloks task force?" another reporter asked.
"Well... I" as she stuttered he asked another question.
"Why are backing away from this fight?"
"What? No. I've never backed away from anything in my life." she said her face growing agitated.
"You promised to serve this city. Are you going back on that promise now?' another reporter asked.
"Do you think probending is more important than the Revolution and Vigilantes" another asked.
"How do you think Aang would have handled this?" another asked.
"Are you afraid of Amon?" With that last question Korra had filled with anger.
"I'M NOT AFRAID OF ANYBODY!" she shouted with rage. "If the City needs me then... I'll join Tarrlok's task force and help fight Amon. As for Spiderman... we'll see what happens." Once she said this Tarrlok stood next to her.
"That's your headline folks!" He called out to those present. The room began to fill with white flashed as cameras took picture.
uh oh. Peter thought.
And that's the chapter.
...
(That's it. Man, what's with these weird ass time skips.)
Calm the frick down. I had to find a way to work with the Legend of Korra ep 4. Did you know there's like four full day time skips.
(Well, if there's time skips, why don't you fill in those blanks with your own stuff?)
I can't really stay so far back on the show, I need to get it moving a little.
.
An episode like this one would probably take more than one chapter.
(Why's that?)
Because for the next chapter it will be filled with things of my own.
(okay, like what?)
Sorry but no spoilers. Otherwise, it wouldn't be fresh.
(Oh. Okay.)
Now to the audience.
(what about them?)
Well I have been receiving some messages.
(What kind of messages?)
That's what I want to get into. There have been some people that have been messaging stating how they want me to work with them to reformat my fanfic into a comic.
(A comic?!)
Yes a comic.
(That's amazing!)
I know!
(What have you told them?)
Nothing.
(Nothing?)
Nothing.
(But you will reply to them?)
Well that's what I'm doing here.
(Isn't that kind of rude? Replying here instead if a direct message?)
Maybe but in no way shape or form do I mean to offend anyone into thinking that I didn't want to reply to them because of any reason.
(So what, you going to call them out right now to everyone?)
No. I will leave them nameless. Some have sent private messages and I wouldn't want to just expose them.
(That's... alright I guess.)
Now. Ladies and gentlemen who have sent messages stating how they would like to work with me on creating a comic I am sorry to say but I will have to humbly decline that offer. It is amazing how some of you believe it would be a great story worthy of your talents to make a comic out of it but I will not be partaking in the creation of any.
(Why?)
Well there are many factors to this but I will keep it in three.
1. I don't know you.
I know this is probably a petty reason but I don't know any of you. I don't know if by doing this I would be getting punked into basically revealing the story and you all going out and basically stealing it. Sorry but I'm just a very cautious person whether my reasons be smart or stupid.
2. Pricing
Now don't take this the wrong way. I'm not trying to be an ass and say "how dare you try to make me pay you for wanting to partake in my story.", I am far from that. I love how you guys put a price on your work because I love when people are making a living off of their talents. It's inspiring how people can get on with life pursuing their passion and skills. But I am not someone who has money. I am unable to work with either of you and go "so what's your price?".
(Just say you're broke"
I'm broke.
(There that was easy.)
Again it's not you. I'm sure that if I had money no matter the price your work would be worth a hundred times it.
3. Myself.
As I have said I can be lazy. I procrastinate a lot. An example can be this chapter. I made this chapter and was ready to release it but told myself to hold onto it for a bit to change some minor things.
(Okay and?)
That was in October.
(Oh.)
Yeah. And aside from that I am very uncoordinated, I don't communicate as well as I should. If you send me a message I'd likely see it like four days later. If I was to work with you I feel it would be unfair to you.
(So you're really turning this down?)
Yup. It stings and I know I'll probably regret it years later but this is the way it is and I am not going to budge on it. I hope you all can understand.
(Damn. What about fan art)
Oh well I mean if someone wants to do it for free they can. They can make it and send it to me, I'll be very grateful.
(Oh one last question.)
Go for it.
(What if someone wants to give ideas? You never know if someone has a better idea of a certain moment.)
Ah. Ideas. The very thing any fanfictor needs to be creative.
(fanfictor?)
I am happy to hear your ideas. Just private message me an idea you have and I'll do my best to reply back.
Well, that's all from me. I'll be seeing you, but until then.
Bye.
