"Welcome to the Scoobies." Xander grinned at the four newcomers.

"Seriously? You named your sidekicks after a carton dog?" Faith asked Buffy.

"They're not my sidekicks and Xander named us, not me." Buffy shook her head. "And let me just say, I like not being in charge, it's so much less stressful."

"So who is in charge around here?" The brash Bostonian asked.

"Technically the adults." Xander answered. "Kinda, they each have their own area of expertise. Giles there, is Book Man, research is his passion. Ms. Calendar is a technopagan, as in bridging technology and Magic and mine and Amy's teacher, we both do Magic. Mrs. Summers has super Mom powers, she makes sure we eat right, get enough sleep, talk about our feelings so they don't boil over and explode, that kinda thing."

"D already makes me do that, I don't need someone else making me do it."

"Than you can just enjoy the chocolatey yumminess she's good at making." Xander answered. "And, just to get this out of the way, you're not a stranger to us, Faith. Cordy and I have met you before, in other realities."

"Come again?"

"My superpower is making portals." Dawn told her. "So far only to other realities and times, twice I ended up in a Sunnydale where there was a you. One where you and the local Xander had a thing and one where Willow tried to drive you insane cause a demon was whispering in her ear."

"You looking to start something with me in this reality, boytoy?" Faith playfully leered at Xander.

"Not that you aren't tempting, but no. Cordy and I have been together over a year and that's not changing."

"Because I'd torture you both." Cordelia grinned cheerfully.

"Like you could, Slayer here." Faith snorted. Cordelia pulled Dragonfang out. "Valkyrie here." She informed the girl. "As in right hand of Odin, I'm stronger than a Slayer and I could go toe to toe with a god."

"What is that?!" Dr. Dormer eyed the strange sword.

"A gift from Xander when we first starting dating. It's called Dragonfang and it's bonded to me, a Magic user created it using the fang of an extra dimensional dragon."

"Dragons aren't real." Faith protested.

"Actually, yes they were at one time." Dr. Dormer told her. "They're not native to Earth though and one could only be found here if a portal to their realm was opened."

"Neat." Faith decided. "But as for you being stronger than me -."

"We can always have a spar." Cordelia answered. "It'll be fun."

"Sure, I'm up for it." Now Faith was leering at Cordelia. "I like being on top." Xander struggled to stop himself from descending into a hormonal haze at the innuendo ladened voice and the images her suggestive voice was calling up.

"Gah!" He managed and heard a dope slap off to the left as Harmony refocused Johnathan's brain that had locked up as well. Really couldn't tell if Oz's had, but a look from Willow was probably enough to reboot him.

"Faith." Dr. Dormer said in an amused tone. "Breaking our hosts is inadvisable."

"Spoil my fun." Faith crumbled. With an effort of willpower, Xander got himself back on track.

"Anyway, um, Oz and Willow over there are werewolves, mated pair. Oz's family are werewolves and they have a compound outside of Sunnydale where they spend the full moon cycle."

"Council considers werewolves neutral." Faith stated. "Unless you prove to be a danger, good to see there's no reason for me to hunt you."

"Oh, no, reason." Willow assured her. "We're careful, not wanting to be hunted, no siree!"

"Did you breath at all during that?" Faith asked, slightly awed and got a slight glare in return.

"And that brings us to Johnathan and Harmony," Xander again refocused them. "Johnathan experienced what's called aspect of the demon. He stopped a demon from feeding on a sick kid and got some of its blood on him."

"It's rare to survive such an event." Dr. Zabuto stated in his exotic accent. "What aspect did you acquire?"

"Super strength, invisibility and energy absorption." Johnathan answered. "I can't eat human food anymore, after some experimentation I discovered I can absorb energy from demons. Not enough to kill them and it keeps me alive."

"And he's not a monster!" Harmony insisted firmly. "He's a hero! He saved that kid's life, that demon had already killed two kids that we know of and Johnathan risked his life and now he uses his invisibility to be our scout when we have a mission and that can be dangerous too. He found the demon those Council people were going to make Buffy fight and got a picture of it and than we killed it so it couldn't hurt Buffy!"

"Did you breath during that?" Faith asked. "And hey, good job."

"Thanks." Johnathan mumbled, praise still making him uncomfortable.

"And you got any superpowers?" Faith asked Harmony. "Seems like everyone here does."

"I can run fast enough to break the sound barrier." She stuck one foot forward. "Xander gave the shoes of god to keep me safe. He's got stuff for you guys too, to keep you safe."

"You could call it magical crafting." Giles murmured, for now going with the explanation they'd originally given him. "Left over from when Xander was turned into a sorcerer by Chaos Magic." It wasn't a exactly a lie, just that they'd been crafted by the Sanctum, not Xander.

"Here." Xander held out two sheathed knives to Faith. "They're called warpath's knives and they're perfectly balanced, you can use them as throwing knives. They also absorb and discharge energy."

"Oh, gorgeous." She murmured, playing with them. "You really know the way to a girl's heart."
