Time had continued to march forward on planet earth, winter turned to spring, and summer was right around the corner.

Kitsuni had finally attained super saiyan level 2 around Valentines day, when she had happened upon Gohan and Videl making out in her car after a "date". She had been taking on a heavy training regiment since determining to catch up with the rest of the Saiyans on planet earth, so she would arrive at capsule Corp every morning for training with the prince, and leave in the evening at the same time every evening.

On this particular morning she arrived earlier because the plan was to take an excursion to a distant island where they could train over water to avoid mass destruction and need to maintain constant flight. It was 2:30am and Gohan was going to be dropped off at capsule corp since it would be too much back and forth since he had a date night with Videl for Valentine's Day, and Kitsuni had agreed to bring his over night bag since he was joining them in the training excursion.

A string of events and a little bit of fate made the situation fall into place. Right when Kitsuni was arriving, Videl's vehicle had been parked a distance away from the house, distinctly standing out with foggy windows and the sounds of two lovers saying good bye with actions instead of words.

That trip was a remarkable moment in Kitsuni's life because it caused her the most intense feeling of betrayal and anger, and she was able to express it in her fists as they went on the training excursion.

A few discoveries were made on that trip.

1. Gohan was in love with Videl.

2. Gohan liked feeling needed, which is why he was so inclined to Videl instead of her.

3. Gohan preferred a physically weak mate because it drove his need to protect and fulfilled his desire to be needed.

4. Kitsuni was not compatible with Gohan's preferences, regardless of the fact that she was much more beautiful or accomplished than the human woman who held his heart.

It crushed Kitsuni to learn that once again, while she was a great physical match for Gohan, she could never be human or capable of acting like a weak woman who needed him for everything. She was prideful, strong, independent and ambitious to accomplish herself in the ways that the saiyan race valued for centuries before they were driven to extinction. She was drawing the short stick in the love and relationship department, as her original purpose to defend and repopulate the saiyan race continued to dim in the light of all these new developments.

She kept herself busy, now approaching Summer and Bulma's delivery date, she decided to take some time to help the remaining royal family as they prepared for the arrival of the princess.

Nobody really kept royal protocols on earth, but Kitsuni kept her upbringing and programming at the forefront of her mind. And while it pained

her to see Bulma live the life that had originally been designed for her, she was also able to respect and support her prince, now king, in his endeavors as a dethroned saiyan with a few left of their diminishing race.

Her purpose was foggy, unclear, and now that she had obtained her goal of SSJ2, she lost sight of what was to come next. Outside of being present and helpful to Vegeta, Bulma, Chichi, and the boys, she really felt like she didn't have much of a purpose anymore, especially since any hopes with Gohan were out the window.

"He's a complete fool," Vegeta said out loud as he walked into the kitchen to grab a water, nearly reading her thoughts.

"I couldn't agree more," Bulma said as she waddled uncomfortably to sit on a stool near the large kitchen island. Kitsuni smiled and nodded her head in agreement.

"It is odd that in just the span of a year you're both able to read me so well," Kitsuni chuckled.

"I don't presume to know what it must be like to be created for a purpose, then learn that your purpose has already been fulfilled by another, and then come to develop feelings for someone who is too insecure to develop feelings for a woman that can hold her own, But I do know that you're and incredible person and I can say confidently that it's 100% his loss Kitsuni," Bulma said, holding her stomach as her baby moves around a lot.

"It is not a good feeling, I am quite sad, but I will find a renewed purpose, one that I create, I'm just not sure what that is yet," Kitsuni said as she rested her head in her hands, also sitting at the island while drinking water.

Trunks and Goten, now both 13, were within earshot of their conversation as they were playing video games in the living room, and trunks couldn't help but feel angry and sad for Kitsuni.

Bulma stood up to give Kitsuni a hug but suddenly paused as her eyeball grew to the size of saucers, while simultaneously Vegeta rushed to her side as an unexpected splash of water hit the tile floor.

"My water broke!" Bulma exclaimed, shock, nervousness and excitement filling her home as her voice rang out.

Three months since the birth of the little princess Bra, and Kitsuni felt a new sense of vigor in her daily life. She had taken over the work taking place in Bulma's lab as she recovered from child birth, continued training in the mornings, and was actively scanning the universe for the purpose of intercepting messages coming from different planets and galaxies in hopes of finding survivors from planet Vegeta.

She was also working on her spacecraft, hoping to go on intergalactic adventures seeing as earth really was just a place to take it easy and raise a family. Perhaps she could find her mother and see if there were things she could do to contribute to the well being of the universe.

Gohan had started his senior year at Orange highschool, but he was attending only in name because his scores were high enough that he had enrolled in college over the summer to get ahead in his academic career. So he did part time at highschool and part time in college so he could continue nurturing his relationship with Videl and Mr Hercule, the man who took credit for defeating cell.

Such a conundrum how Gohan had so little pride and backbone to take credit for saving planet earth— that was something that Kitsuni could never understand. Had planet Vegeta still be in existence, things would have been very different; but that line of thinking yeilded nothing but wishes and hopes that would never——

"If you're listening to this message, please, father, I need you to—-" a familiar voice cut through Kitsuni's thoughts as she snapped out of her contemplations to tinker with the large computer emitting the broken message. "Father, in year 2025 of my timeline a disease has begun to spread but I need your help to——" the message broke off as a hologram image was trying to project into the lab but it was not visa le because of the poor quality.

Thankfully Bulma's lab recorded every thing that came in or went out in order to keep track of everything, and Kitsuni made Bulma aware of the message.

Vegeta, Bulma, Trunks, Goten, Gohan, Chichi and Kitsuni all gathered in the lab to replay the message, it was serendipitous that they were all visiting baby Bra that particular day when the message was received. The message was played on a loop, and Bulma worked on the computer along side of Kitsuni and Gohan to attempt to get a clear understanding of what was being said.

Suddenly the hologram was functional and an image of Marai Trunks flashed across the room, "Father, only the blood of a pure Saiyan can produce the antibody needed to save the human race— please consider helping me save this world,"
