Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: The 8th day of the second round continues as the match grow more intense. First up was a chaotic bout as Kurosaki face Nero. They two went all out as they were evenly match. But in the end Kurosaki was able to defeat the devil hunter much to Takato displeasure. Next up it was Muzet facing Link. The hero of Hyrule had trouble as Muzet was tricky to fight. But the spirit was about to send Link to the ground to claim the match. Lastly it was Innominat facing the unknown Kane. Both fighters were powerful ass innominat was brutally taken down by Kane power. Now the final set of matches are set to begins.

Part 24

Darkness carries on

Dante pov: Well the 8th day is certainly getting crazy. The last fight was nuts as that Kane guy lay a smackdown on that Innominat kid. Brutally I may add, jeez I seem my fair share of bastards over the years but that guy take the cake. "That gut was ruthless, he didn't show that kid any mercy." Lady said with a shake of her head while holding her hands up. " Your telling me it wasn't a fair fight." Patty said. " Life isn't always fair Patty, there are bound to be people who don't play fair." I said. " Tell me about it." Nero said. " This Kane look to be a worthy foe I would enjoy battling with." Vergil said with a smirk. " You will need to get pass your next match first. " Trish said. " You mean against this Mephilis. Please this fool will be no match for me. Just watch as I defeat him with utter ease." Vergil said as he head off to get ready for his match. Still a total dick as ever. "I find it hard to believe that man is your father Nero." Credo said. " Trust me I know Credo. He a total jack ass it was a pain to get him not to kill Dante." Nero said. " For now, my guess once the tournament is over were going to settle things. If we don't end up facing each other in it first." I said. "Why he your brother isn't he Dante?" Patty ask. "Just too much bad blood between us Kiddo, here they come." I said as we look at the ring. The fighters came in as Vergil came in looking smug as ever as he start at Mephilis as he rose up from the ground. "Alright it time for the next match, we have the dark slayer Vergil vs the bringer of darkness Mephilis the dark." Milton said. " Ready to be swallow by the darkness." Mephilis said with a laugh. " We shall see about that pest." Vergil said as he draw the Yamato. "Alright both sides look ready so let set the field." Milton said as the ring started to change. They look to be in a ruins in the jungle. "And it the Mystic jungle of Solenana. Let get to the action. Smashers clash!" Meyer shout as the fight soon got started.

Vergil vs Mephilis

Bergil jumps the gun to make the first move as he charge at Mephilis to swing at him. Mephilis use his crystal like claws to block and parry Vergil strikes and then sank into the ground. We saw he rose up a few feet behind. "Take this demon." Mephilis said as he started to shoot several purple energy balls at my brother. Vergil smirk as he use Yamato to quickly cut them down and charges at Mephilis. Mephilis vanish into the ground again as he appear sitting on a pillar with his legs cross. "Are you only able to0 run Mephilis? I thought you would put up more of a fight." Vergil said as he look up at Mephilis. The hedgehog chuckles. " oh I am, I have many ways to play with you. Like this." He said as he held his hand up as a purple portal form over them. Several dark creatures fell from it as they charge for Vergil. "Beowolf!" Vergil shout as he form the gauntlets and boots to beat down the creatures to hold them off. " How is that fair he out number." Nero said. I chuckle. "May be Nero, but this is nothing to my brother just watch." I said as we watch fight. Vergil continues to fight Mephilis lackies as he knocks them away with Beowolf. He jumps into the air to slam his foot into the ground to cause a shockwave blasting them back. Vergil then change to his Mirage edge and as he cut down several of them. He then form several energy swords and let them fly upward at the portal to shatter it surprising Mephilis. "What!" He shout as Vergil was in front of him. Vergil swung Yamato making Mephilis jump to the ground. "Enough of this!" He shout as he sank into the ground as it glows. We watch as a large black monster rose up. It single purple eye glows as it shot a laser at Vergil who jump out of the way. "Let make this interesting." Vergil said as he snaps his fingers as a blue energy double of himself appears. They charges at Mephilis as he try to crush them with his fists. They were quick on their feet as they slash at the monster cutting it to bits, revealing Mephilis.

"it over Judgement cut!" Vergil shout as he swung Yamato as dozen of cuts form on Mephilis as he cry out and hit the ground and didn't get up. "And the match is over folks, the winner is Vergil." Milton shout. " Brutal as ever." Lady said. 'That my brother for you, guess I will need to be the one to take him down." I said with a smirk. " Maybe so Dante since Nero lost, you're the only one of us who may have a spot to take him down." Trish said. " Sure leave it to me. Now let check out the next match. I'm curious to see what will happen next." I said as we waited for the next match to start. Elize Pov: The last match was very intense, Vergil was very skill as he was able to defeat Mephilis to claim victory. I would not want to fight him. " He is certainly skill, that blade of his it was able to cut the dimension around Mephilis to do major damage to him." Takato said. 'It won't be an easy weapon to counter for sure. Lucky were high in the match list that we don't have to worry about it for now." Rika said. "Greeting every one." Geralt said as he and Ciri came over to sit next to us. " Hey guys where you been?' I ask. " Scouting the arena looking for clues on the person who stole some of my powers. Since Geralt is out of the tournament and my match for the round is done. We thought to have a look around for the Hazardous one." Ciri said. Takato nods. " Yeah, we still have no idea why he wanted Ciri power." He said. " What ever the reason it is it can't be good.. We all saw how dangerous Ciri power can be. We need to find this guy." Geralt said concern. " And we will where Yennifer?" Rika ask. " Getting ready for her match with Mardgeer." Ciri said. I look nervous. " He was the one who beat Ludger." I said. Takato sigh. " I know, Ludger was one of our best fighters. But Mardgeer took him down and worst I think he was holding back." He said.

"Yeah, Salem told me her guild fought the Tartarus guild in the past. They are all demons created by this evil mage name Zeref. They are seriously bad news." Rika said with her arms cross in concern. " Yeah taking this guy will be trouble some." Kenji said. " Let hop Yennifer can handle him. Yen a Grand Sorceress I have faith in her." Geralt said. I nod. "Me too it starting." I said as we look to the ring. We saw Yen walking in as Mardgeer came in with a dark smirk on his face. " Alright it time for the next match. We have the grand sorceress Yennifer vs the leader of Tartarus Mardgeer." Milton said. 'Foolish mage your weak magic is no match for my curse." Mardgeer said with a smirk. Yen hand crackle with lighting. "We'll see which is stronger demon." She said. 'Alright look like both sides are ready to go. So let choose the field." Milton said as the ring started to change as it was an old arena. I think it the arena ferox we saw before. 'Alright the field is set let get to the action Smashers clash!" Meyer shout as the match soon begins.

Yennifer vs Mardgeer

Yen made the first attack as she thrust her hand forward to shoot a lighting bolt ay Mardgeer. He smirk as several vines emerge from the ground to block the lighting. "Foolish." He siad as the vines chase after Yen as she teleported to dodge them. She appear on top of a piece of rumble. "Interesting power but a few weeds won't stop me." She said as she shot a burst of fire at the vines to burn them. Mardgeer suddenly appear behind Yen as he slap her away. " It will take more then flames to counter my curse." He said. Yen form a sword in her hand as she swung it at him as a vine extend from Mardgeer right sleeve to act like a blade. He was able to block and parry her.

He stabs at her as Yen flip to the right to get behind him and swung. But Vines stop her as they try to stab at her. Yen warp in time to avoid it. "From what we know so far, he can use plants. The level of control is great, not to mention his physical abilities as well. He isn't a normal foe." Takato said in a serious tone. "But what does this mean for Yennifer?" Ciri ask worry about her. " Don't worry Yen is far from done." Geralt said as we focus on the fight. Yen swung her arms as she send blades of wind at the demon as Mardgeer jump back. He form a few roses in his hand. "Rose explosion!" He shout as he threw them as the roses land near Yen as they explodes knocking her back. "You should surrender, you are no match for my curse." Mardgeer said as he smell a rose. " Please don't insult me demon. I have dealt with arrogant beings before. Your no different." Yen said as she shot a lighting bolt at him as Mardgeer use the rose to block. " There no one else like me, your just a magic nuisance in my way of killing the descendant of Dragoneel." He said as he look at us. Does he mean one of us? Mardgeer threw the rose into the ground. "Prison flower!' He shout as it grew into the monstrous flower that he use against Ludger. Yen eyes look to glow as she lifted her hand up as storm clouds form over them. " Cute trick Mardgeer here mine." She said as she swung her hand down as she send a massive lighting bolt down as it slam onto the flower turning it to ash. She look at Mardgeer as her hand glows as she wanted to finish this. "Oh that how you want to play so be it." He said as a purple ball of energy form in his hand. Yen let out a cry as she shot a white beam of magic at him. "Dead Yaggrasil!" Mardgeer shout as he shot a purple beam to met Yen attack head on. But his attack engulf her's as it was pushes back and slam into Yen making her scream.

She was blasted into the outer wall as she was stuck in it. "Yen!" Geralt shout as he and Ciri ran down to see if she was alright. " And it over folks as the winner is Mardgeer." Milton said. The ring turn back to normal as Mardgeer look at us and smirk as he walk away. " What a monster." I said as I cover my mouth in fear. " Yes he is." Takato said. "Why was he looking at us and who Dragneel?" Kenji ask. 'Me." Rika said as we look at her. " One of My ancestors was Natsu Dragneel, I'll talk to Salem and Ozpin to learn more." She said. "Right, how about we watch the next match to take our minds off of this." I said as we waited for the next match to start. Sorey Pov: Man that was a tough match to watch. That magic user Yennifer try her best to defeat the demon Mardgeer but was out match in the end by him. " Shit that guy show no mercy he total that lady." Rose said shock by this. " Appear so, he is more powerful as any Hellion we have face before." Mikleo said concern. " Well except for Kitty beard." Enda said sounding bored. " True, Heldalf power is great either one of them will not be easy to defeat." Lailah said. "Well let hope this Sephiroth can take Heldalf out for us. Certainly save us the trouble." Zavied said with a smirk. " Maybe but that doesn't solve the problem. Heldalf have allied with the Hazardous one. " I said worry. " True, and we still have no idea to why or what they are planning." Alisha said with her arms cross. "The best we can do is try to get further through the tournament and hope to learn more of what going on." Dezel said. I nod. " Right, look like it about to start." I said as we turn to look to the ring. We felt a strong Malevolence as Heldalf walk in as he had a dark aura around him. Sephiroth came in from the other side with a similar aura. They stare each other down.

"Alright time for a battle of two major evils." Meyer said. " Indeed, we have the lord of Calamity Heldalf vs the one wing angel Sephiroth." Milton said. "So a lord of calamity eh, this will be amusing." Sephiroth said as he ready his long sword. " Very well come meet your end boy." Heldalf said with a dark grin. " "Alright look like both sides are ready to begin. SO let set the field." Milton said as the ring started to change. We saw it was a white valley as it look void of life. " And it the valley of screams, alright let get to the action. Smashers clash!" Meyer shout as the match begins.

Heldalf vs Sephiroth

Sephiroth rushes forward as he slam into Heldalf to do a downward strike as Heldalf held up his left wrist to block and held Sephiroth back. The sliver hair man smirk as he continue to swing as he strikes wildly at Heldalf. The Hellion swipe his large right claw making Sephiroth move back. Heldalf thrust his hand forward to shoot a blast of water as Sephiroth jump into the air to dodge it and as a black wing pop out of his back to stay afloat. "Mega flare!" He shout as he shot a blue fire ball at Heldalf. Heldalf stlap it away and then jump at Sephiroth and grab him to slam him into the ground. Sephiroth slam his foot up into Heldalf chin to make him let go. He then back flips onto his feet. " Your more beast then man. I'm starting to enjoy myself." Sephiroth said as his blades glows as he swung it to shoot an purple energy slash at the hellion. Heldalf cross his arms as he rushes through the attack to get at Sephiroth. "Hell fire unleash!" He shout as he cover his claws in fire as he slam into Sephiroth making him slide across thee valley.

"Damn he really giving it to Heldalf. Come on angle guy kick his ass!" Rose shout cheering for Sephiroth. "he is quite skill, to stand against Heldalf for this long." Lailah said. "Maybe but will it be enough." I said. We watch as Sephiroth slices down several trees as he flap his wing to send the trees at Heldalf to pelt him with them. Heldalf slap them as he walk toward Sephiroth. "Is that all Angel, I'm not impress." He said with a smirk. Sephiroth glare at him. "Very well let see how you like this Meteor!" He shout as he held his sword up as a burst of light shot out of it into the sky. We gasp as something was coming down. It was a giant meteor falling to ward the ring. 'Is he nuts he will kill us all!" Mikleo shout in fear. "Well guys guess were fuck." Edna said with a straight face despite what going on. I notice Heldalf was grinning like mad as he look excited. He jump into the air as he head for the meteor. "Lion howl!" He shout as a purple energy lion head forms over his left hand as he punches the meteor as it cracks and shatters. This shock everyone as Heldalf grabs a large piece of it and hurl it toward Sephiroth. It slam the sliver hair man into the ground to pin him on his back. Heldalf then dive down to slam his fist into the rock as it explodes as dust kick up. When the smoke clears Sephiroth was crush under Heldalf foot as it was over. " Holy shit that was the most incredible match yet!" Meyer shout excited. "Indeed brother, after a incredible clash the winner of this match is Heldalf." Milton said. I was lost for words from what we have seen. "Oh were so screw." Zavied said sounding worry as he held his head. "So kitty beard tough so are we. We can take him." Edna said as she place her parasol on her shoulder. I nod. " Right we can't let this stop us." I said feeling determined. "Yeah we got this." Rose said.

" Indeed shall we watch the next match to see who made face Heldalf in the next round." Alisha said as we waited for the next match to begin. Solene Pov: I was afraid by what I just saw as I hug Coronamon as he sat in my lap. I was frighten by Heldalf as he defeated Sephiroth with such terrifying power. Can we even fight someone like him. I shake as Coronamon pat my arms to calm me down. " It ok Solene were right here." He said assuring me. " Yeah I'm sorry." I said. 'It alright sis, I get it that was hard to watch. That Heldalf guy is a beast." Jerico said. 'True he look to be one of the more dangerous foes here." Ryo said as he held his chin. "Indeed, if Jerico win his match against Dante he will face Heldalf in the next round." Alice said. I look to my brother nervously. "Jerico please don't fight the cat man." I said as I clench his coat. He shook his head. "Sorry Sol but if it comes to it, I will. He need to go since he really dangerous." He said. " You will need to beat Dante first. We know he pretty strong from the ti8me we spend with him." Coronamon said. "Oh I know I want to give him my thanks for looking out for you guys, don't worry we'll be find. Let go Agumon." Jerico said as he and Agumon walk away to get ready. I watch Jerico leave as I was fill with worry. "Trus… in… fami." A woman voice said in my head. What was that? Calm down Solene your imagining things. "So how strong is this Dante guy? He anything like that Nero guy?" Koga ask. I nod. " Yep mister Dante is Nero uncle, he have a devil form and a lot of weapons. He even have something call a sin devil form that really cool." I said. " It a enhance devil form far more powerful then normal. He was even a match for Mega level Digimon." Coronamon said. " Really? Hope Jerico and Agumon can handle this." Gabumon said. "Same here look like it about to start." Ryo said as we look to the ring. Jerico and Agumon came in looking ready as Dante walk in with a grin on his face. "Alright it time for the final match of the day. We have the Tamer of courage Jerico Corona and his partner Agumon vs the legendary devil hunter Dante." Milton said. "So your Dante, thanks for looking out for my sister Solene." Jerico said. "No problem she a tough kid, remind me of my own daughter. Now show me what you got." Dante said with a smirk. " Alright look like the fighters are ready to go. So let choose the field." Milton said as the ring started to change. Cool it was the outside of the Spiritius building. " Alright it the Spiritius courtyard alright guys let it rip. Smashers clash!' Meyer shout as the match begins.

Jerico and Agumon vs Dante

Dante look at them. "Hey do that fusion thing with your partner." He said shocking Jerico making him blink. " You want to fight a mega level Digimon dude are you nuts?" Jerico ask as Dante grins. " Hey your friends made a impression, I want to see how I measure up to you guys at your best." He said. Jerico laughs. " I like you gladly Agumon." Jerico said. " I'm with you." Agumon said. " Biomerge activate!" Jerico shout as light cover them.

Dantes grins as he turn into his devil form and jumps for Wargreymon. He swung his sword as Wargreymon block it with his claw. "Dramon killer!" He shout as he thrust his claw at Dante. Dante jump back as he pull out a shotgun to blast Wargreymon in the chest to make him step back. "That stings a bit, this will be fun Grey fire!" Wargreymon shout as he shot fire balls at Dante. Dante let out his wings as he flew around to dodge the fire balls. Dante then came around as he swung his sword to send red energy swords at Wargreymon. "Brave shield!" Wargreymon shout as he use his wings to defend against them. "Oh neat trick, but let see if you can handle this." Dante said as he took out his rocket launchers and stab them into the ground and fire a barrage of missiles to pelt Wargreymon. "Man this guy is insane if eh can keep up with Wargreymon of all Digimon." Koga said amaze. "Dante is skill and confidant that he can handle a mega. And from what we saw so far he can back it up." Ryo said. "Come on big brother you can do it!" I shout cheering for him. We watch as Dante assault ends as we saw Wargreymon burst through the smoke as he tackle Dante back. "Million stabs!" Dante shout as he gave the mega a barrage of sword thrusts as Wargreymon use his claws to parry them. "Brave tornedo!" Wargreymon shout as he spun and charges at Dante. Dante smirks as he call out his cool bike and rode off as my brother chases him. Dante lift his bike up to ride up the side of the Spiritius building as Wargreymon clash into it. Dante turn around to drop on Wargreymon as he spilt the bike into a pair of blades to slash Wargreymon in the chest. Wargreymon try to swipe at him as Dante too to the air. " Well dragon boy it getting interesting shall we end it?" Dante ask as he glows and transform to his sin devil form surprising everyone. "Holy shit!" Monodramon shout shock. Wargreymon chuckles. " Alright you ask for it Terra force!" He shout as he form the large energy ball and threw it at Dante. The attack near him as Dante slashes his sword to slice the attack in down the middle as the halves explodes. "Well fuck me." Wargreymon said shock.

"Thanks for the fun kid see ya!" Dante shout as he dive down as he spun and slam into Wargreymon slamming him into the ground as smoke cover the area. When it clears we saw Jerico and Agumon on the ground in defeat. 'And it over folks. The winner by an epic knock out is Dante!" Milton said. We watch as a red eye appear under Jerico as he was hit by black lighting. " Jerico!" I shout as a orange crest with a sun on appears from his D-arc and vanish. "And there goes another one." Kga said with a sigh. " Man that Dante was rough, we need to be careful if one of us end up facing him in the future." Ryo said. " True, come we should collect Jerico and Agumon before we return to the hotel for the night." Alice said. " Ok." I said as we went to get my brother and his partner. I hope tomorrow will be better for us. But still who was that voice I heard?

Sven: The 9th day of the second round have begun as we work to advance through the tournament. Next time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Chapter 94: Round 2 part 25 Metallic blades. Hm how will this one play out for us.
