Galuna island:
Alec is sitting on the shore line and has been waiting since yesterday for the others to arrive on the island. Out of sheer absolute boredom he used his magic to create a lounge chair underneath a beach umbrella, along with a tropical drink and a pair of sunglasses. Not long after he did this Lucy, Natsu, Happy, and Grey washed up on shore with the debris of the boat they were on.
Alec tosses the sunglasses off his face and they disperse into golden particles that disappear into nothingness. Alec then makes his way over to the washed up group on the sand. He then picks up a stick and proceeds to poke them all to see if they're all still alive.
Lucy starts to wake up and sees Alec squatting down poking her with the stick. "Ahh!" Lucy screams, Alec then flicks her head to calm her down. "Glad you're still alive, newbie. Anyway I guess we should wake the others." Alec then stands up then makes his way over to Happy and pulls him out of the sand by his tail seeing him struggling to get out.
"Hey that's my tail, let go!" Happy shouts, Alec immediately drops Happy hitting his head on the sand. "Hey what was that for?" Happy questions rubbing his head.
"You said to let go so I let you go." Happy begins to pout as Alec turns to make his way to Natsu and Grey. Alec stops in front of the duo then takes a deep breath then yells, "Wake up you idiots!".
The two wizards jolt awake, Natsu quickly covering his ears, while Grey quickly gets to his feet ready for a fight. "Good you're both awake, now we can head over to the client why it's still day time. That way we'll be able to make it at least by sunset." Alec states, he then snaps his fingers and the umbrella and chair disappear like it never existed like the sunglasses.
"I wonder what happened to the guy who brought us here, after he told us about the curse he vanished." Lucy says, "Who cares we made it here didn't we." Natsu enthusiastically states.
"He's most likely fine Lucy. Besides, I'm curious to know what this curse business is about because to my knowledge this island hasn't been cursed at any time. But we shall know more when we get to the village where our client is." Alec states, Grey immediately interjects by saying, "You can go Alec but we need to go back to the guild."
"Really… and how will you do that without a form of transportation." Alec counters, Grey goes silent.
"That's what I thought, let's go because now we won't get there till it's dark at this rate."
…
The group make their way to a remote village surrounded by tall wooden walls and a giant wooden gate with a sign saying keep out. Lucy steps forward and yells, "Hello is anyone home we're here for the job you gave our guild."
"Let's bust in!" Natsu says with mischievous eyes. Alec wacks the back of Natsu's head and says, "You idiot give them a few minutes they might not be at the gate right now."
"Who goes there?" A man shouted from the top of the gate. "We're from Fairy Tail." Grey shouts to the man, "Let me see your emblem then." The man commands and Natsu, Grey, and Lucy do as he says.
"Hey, what about that one!" The man points to Alec who is just patiently waiting for the gate to open. "Al show him the Emblem we won't be let in otherwise." Grey says, Alec growls but instead of showing the man his emblem Alec decides to sprout his wings and fly up to eye level with the man.
"Open the gate. I've already informed you about our arrival two days ago. If you don't, we'll just leave." Alec threatens the man. The man quickly hurries to open the gate. Alec returns back to the group and they all watch the giant gate open with haste.
The group walks through the gate and are greeted by the villagers and someone important looking with a staff with a crescent moon shape laying down in front of them. All of the natives are wrapped up in cloth not showing any features of themselves and are on the ground bowing. "I'm sorry for the disrespect please don't harm us. We only wanted to make sure you were telling the truth." The old man begs, Alec sighs and says, "We aren't going to harm you, I just don't like being told what to do."
To the villagers' relief they all stand up along with the important looking figure as he grabs the staff from the ground. "I take it you're the elder of this village." Alec asks and the old man nods.
"That is correct, I'm the village chief and we'd like you to get rid of this dreadful curse that plagues us during the night."
"We keep hearing about this curse but what is it exactly?" Grey questions, upon hearing this the elder nods his head to the other villagers and they all remove the cloth covering their entire body, to reveal parts of their bodies being something not human.
"How awful." Lucy sympathizes, "Who would do something like this?" Grey questions, "We're going to do something about this, don't you all worry." Natsu declares.
"Oh how wonderful we can be human again!" The villagers cry out. "You shouldn't have said that Natsu." Alec states.
Natsu tilts his head in confusion, "Why not?".
"Because they're not-" all of a sudden the sky begins to turn a purple hue as the moon comes out behind the clouds revealing a purple creepy color giving the group chills. "Now that's creepy looking." Grey comments, the elder begins to sweat.
"It's the moon, stand back the change is about to occur." The elder states. The villagers began to scream in pain, some not sounding human, their bodies morphing into different shapes, sizes, and colors but it came to an end as soon as their bodies finished changing into what someone with no words would call them Monsters.
"What happened to you?" Happy questions.
"It's the moon, the moon is the cause for this, ever since those strangers came the moon has cursed us every night to turn into these hideous forms. Therefore after trying everything, I have come to the conclusion that the only way to free us… is to destroy the moon!" The elder declares, Alec was going to say something logical but this purple moon is too interesting. So he decided to investigate this moon situation that piqued his curiosity before straightening out the villagers' confusion.
"You mentioned that strangers came to this island. Are perhaps still here?" Alec asks the elder, and the elder nods. "Indeed they are. If I'm right they should be at the temple in the forest."
"Why didn't you go investigate it yourself?" Natsu asks and is immediately hit in the head by Grey. "Shut up you pyro."
"It's fine, but to answer him we did but when we got too close we just ended up back in the village somehow." The elder states. "I see, well I guess that's where we'll be looking first tomorrow." Alec says.
"Very well, let me guide you to where you will be staying." The elder then begins guiding the group through the village. Alec on the other hand decides to split from the group halfway through the village. He decided to get a head start with the investigation of this moon problem by locating the temple tonight. 'Creation Magic: Stealth' Alec then snaps his fingers and his presence instantly becomes that of air. "Now let's go find this temple."
