Chapter 16
Christian
I was the first one that was awake and the villa felt eerily quiet. I had become so used to all the noise and fuss of my new family. It was hard to believe that just two months ago, the quietness for me would have been all I wanted and now I couldn't wait for everyone to wake up.
I shimmered out of bed not wanting to risk waking Ana because I knew that everything that was happening was a lot to handle, and last night she had been exhausted.
I had thought a lot about what Ana had said when we were by the pool about her powers, so I wanted to set up a sparring session with Ana, Zeus, and myself, but because I didn't know how much power she possessed, I didn't know where to set the session up.
I was sitting, thinking about what to do and drinking my coffee when Zeus walked into the room and sat down opposite me. "Good morning, Christian. What may I ask has put such a serious expression on your face at such an early hour?"
"I was thinking about Ana. She wants to see how strong her powers can get without growing too much. I'm thinking about setting up a sparring session with you, me, and Ana to test them out, I just don't know where to have it."
"I think that's a wonderful idea. Why don't we do it in your throne room. It would be quite the display for your subjects to witness the power that their Queen has. We can bring everyone with us if you wish. Or I can have Demeter come to stay with them, but it would also be the perfect time to give the other children their powers."
I wasn't sure how I felt about having everyone down there again after last time, but Zeus had a point, it would be good to have our subjects see what she can and will do. "You make a good point, I will see what Ana says when she wakes up."
"What are you two talking about?" I felt Ana slip her arms around my shoulders as she kissed my neck and my body hummed with the pleasure of her touch.
"Morning, beautiful." I pulled her around to sit on my lap and kissed her before pulling back and tucking a stray hair behind her ear. "How would you like to test out your powers today?" Ana looked at me with a mixture of excitement and a little fear.
"Sounds good. I think it's important that I figure out what I am capable of before we go into this fight. Where would we do it, though?" Ana moved to another seat as she glamoured food for everyone to eat and filled her plate up. I smiled at her, loving that she loved to eat. Seeing her eat was such a turn-on for me, which I had never had with anyone else.
Well, to be fair, I had never been with anyone for anything other than sex, so I never saw them eat, but with Ana, she made me think that maybe I should introduce food into our lovemaking. I would love nothing more than to lick cream off her delectable body.
I hadn't realized I was staring at her, lost in my lust-filled thoughts until Ana coughed and Zeus laughed. "Are you ok, baby?" I shook my head to clear it before smiling at her.
"I'm good, beautiful. Zeus and I think that my throne room would be the perfect place for you to test your powers. We can all go today, and while we are there, we can give the children their powers, what do you think?"
Ana looked a little worried and he could understand why, especially after what happened the last time we were there. "I don't know, Christian, Huldah may not want to go there and we can't leave them here alone, so it depends on what they say, because I won't leave them behind, it's too dangerous!"
I hadn't even thought of that. "What if Demeter and my brothers stayed here? That should be enough to keep them safe. Would you feel better if we did that?" Ana still didn't look comfortable about leaving them and I couldn't really blame her.
"Ok, well let's check when Beal and Huldah wake up," with a small smile Ana went back to eating as Elliot and Izzy came down with all the children, and when they did the twins ran over to us jumping up onto our laps.
"Morning daddy, mommy, can we play in the pool again today?" Abigail was now standing and jumping up and down on my legs as I held her little waist, making sure she didn't fall.
"Not today, we have something else planned, but let's wait for everyone to get up and we will tell everyone what we are doing, but for now why don't you go and get some breakfast." Abigail smiled and jumped down, running over to where Izzy and Elliot were filling Jamie and Mia's plates with food and settling them down on the small table that had been glamoured for the children when we first got to the villa.
Everyone was sitting, eating, and talking when Beal and Huldah came from the guest house with Ava and Liam, "Morning, everyone." Huldah had the biggest smile on her face.
"Morning, honey. I'm guessing by your smile that you had a good sleep?" Ana was laughing as she spoke and I knew she was remembering the sleepless nights that we had when we first had the twins.
"You have no idea. This little man only woke up just once all night. I feel amazing. So, what have we all got planned today?" I felt the dread in my stomach at the thought of ruining her mood.
"Well, after yesterday with Hades, Ana wants to figure out her powers and see how powerful she is. So, we will be doing some sparring." Huldah looked so excited at this idea. However, I hadn't yet told them where it would be happening.
"That sounds like so much fun. I would love to watch. Where and when is it happening?" Huldah looked like she was close to jumping up and down with excitement and I was just about to burst her bubble.
"Well, that's the thing. Zeus and I thought that the best place to do it would be in my throne room because it would be good for people to see how powerful she is, and we need to give the children their powers, and my throne room is the best place to do it." I held my breath waiting for Huldah to say no.
"I couldn't agree more. I think it's the perfect place." Beal's surprised expression mirrored my own at hearing Huldah be so enthusiastic about going with us.
"You don't have to come with us, sweetie. I know that it will probably be hard for you to be there after what happened." Ana sounded worried and clearly wanted to make sure Huldah was sure about wanting to go with us.
"I am not missing you sparring and testing your magic. I can't wait to see what you can do. I know why you would think that I wouldn't want to go back there, but I am fine with it, I promise. Beal, Ava, are you guys ok with it?"
Beal smiled down at Huldah, nodding her head, but not saying anything as Ava sat down with her plate full of food.
"I'm good. Do we get to watch, or do we have to stay in the room we were in before because I really want to watch?" I looked at Izzy and Elliot to see what they were thinking about the whole situation.
"I'm not sure. What will they see in the room? Will there be other demons there?" Izzy sounded a little worried and I could understand why she was.
"We can close the room off so that it is only us there for a while, but I would like for our subjects to see her fight and use her powers. We can move the children into the private room with more security when we let the others in. Is that, ok?"
"That sounds better, thank you. I just don't want them to be scared of what they see." I smiled and went back to eating my food feeling a little more relaxed.
A few hours later, we were all standing in the throne room that had been emptied of all of the cages and demons. The large doors to the outside had been shut as had the doors that led to the cells.
The children where all sitting on things that Ana told me were bean bag chairs, which I had never seen before, and all the adults were sat on the thrones that had been glamoured it was like Ana had her very own audience and I could see she was nervous as she looked around the room playing with the black tight top, she had glamoured into.
Ana looked like a warrior goddess, stood waiting for her enemy in a tight black top and tight black leather pants, with knee-high flat boots. Once again her hair was up in a bun on the top of her head, but looking at her now full of nerves, I just wanted to pick her up and carry her away.
I walked over to her, needing to check on her and make sure she was ok," How are you feeling, beautiful?"
"I'm a little nervous about what's going to happen. Am I going to be having a proper fight with you and Zeus or are you going to just be showing me how to use my magic?" I smiled down at her, unsure of what to say. I wasn't sure what kind of powers she even had, so I didn't know how to show her how to use them.
"We will be fighting, My Queen. It will help you control your powers in the middle of a fight because you won't have time when it is the real battle to stop and breathe to gain control. So, you will be learning that today. Both of you need to know that I will not be holding back, if you are as I suspect in possession of the powers of the first Titans, then you may well be stronger than me, and I would like you to show me how much stronger. I may need to stay on your good side just in case you come after me in the future." Zeus winked at Ana and laughed while walking away.
Ana frowned as she watched Zeus move further away from us. "He wants me to fight you both? I don't know if I want to do that. What if I am stronger and I hurt someone, or what if we are wrong and I'm not and I get hurt. I can't have our family see that." She sounded a little panicked so I moved closer and wrapped my arms around her.
"Ana, baby, I need you to listen to me. We are immortal and cannot be killed. I do not feel physical pain so please do not worry about that, and neither Zeus nor I will hurt you. Do you trust us?" She nodded her head a little and clung tighter to my waist.
"Ok, My Queen, let's start, shall we?" We both turned to see Zeus in full God form, holding the lightning bolt that I had seen at Ana's coronation. "Change Ana, or do you want to fight me looking like a scared little woman?"
I was furious with the way Zeus had just spoken to Ana, but apparently, he wasn't done, and at Zeus's taunting Ana stepped back and slowly started to change.
"Come on Ana, these people want to hurt your family, your babies, your husband. Are you just going to freeze up and act like a coward, or are you going to show them that you are not to be messed with?"
I moved back from Ana when I saw the rage on her face, and the room started to shake, and I was now beginning to think that having everyone watching wasn't the best idea.
I was just about to suggest that everyone leave the room when I looked at my children who were watching Ana with massive smiles on their faces, and their eyes were glowing the same gold as Ana's had the previous day when she confronted Hades.
I turned to look at Ana and was blinded by the sight that greeted me. She was exactly how she was yesterday, her hair flying around her like it had a life of its own, her skin covered in golden flames, and she was close to eight feet tall and still growing.
Zeus was watching her with the biggest smile on his face.
"Right, Ana, you need to keep the power that is in your body, but come back down to your normal height, can you do that?" Everyone had their hands over their eyes, everyone apart from the twins, that is.
I was for sure going to find out what the fuck that was about once we had finished here.
"I think so," Ana took a few deep breaths and slowly her body started to get smaller and smaller but the flames never died and her eyes still glowed, but the glow dimmed enough so that everyone could now watch without shielding their eyes. Her hair was still golden and continued to wildly flow around her body, and her wings remained huge trailing behind her.
"Good girl. Now we fight!" Without warning Zeus ran at Ana with the lightning bolt pointed directly towards her heart and I started to run to help her, but Zeus held his hand out stopping me in my tracks.
I was beyond furious; I had promised Ana that Zeus and I wouldn't harm her. I looked over to Ana, feeling helpless, but when she noticed what Zeus had done, she smiled and held her hand to Zeus, stopping him in his tracks, much to Zeus's surprise and frustration.
"Tut-tut Zeus, I believe we all agreed that I would fight both you and my husband and yet you want to keep him out of it. That's not playing fair, is it?" Zeus fought against her hold, growling in anger, and Ana simply smiled back at him.
"Neither are you. Let me fucking go and we will fight fair!" Ana just laughed and held her other hand out to me and I just watched her in awe.
"Stop whining, Zeus. It's not becoming of a God!" She closed her fist and I could feel the magic Zeus had used to stop me in my tracks slide around my body and then it was gone. "Mmm, I think I will keep that for now, thank you." I saw a white light slide under Ana's skin, and all I could think was it must be the magic that Zeus had used against me and she had taken that magic for herself and I couldn't help but smile.
"You can join in now, baby." Ana winked at me and moved her gaze back to Zeus. "Are you going to play fair or do you need to sit this one out?" There was no malice in how she spoke to Zeus and I could see the hint of a smile on Zeus's face, and I didn't doubt that if anyone else ever spoke to Zeus like this under any other circumstances they wouldn't live to see the next day and if they did they would wish they hadn't.
"Fine, I will behave. Sorry, Christian. I didn't mean any disrespect, but if we are going to do this, you cannot stop me from attacking her. She needs to show us how she can fight. There will be a lot more people than just you and me involved in this battle. We need to know what she is capable of because she won't be able to stop everyone moving at the same time. Also, we need you in this fight, not trying to protect Ana, who, and I mean this with the greatest of respect, is going to be the last person in the fight that will need any help from either of us. So, you need to keep that in mind."
I hadn't thought of that. I was so used to being the strongest being in any room, so to know that someone was more powerful than me and that, that person was my wife still felt unreal. She had been so fragile when I met her and I thought that I would forever have to protect her and that instinct will be a hard one to let go of.
"It's annoying, isn't it? To no longer be the strongest, most powerful being in not just the room but the world." I didn't know what to say and I didn't want to agree and make Ana feel bad but yeah it was fucking annoying.
"Can we stop bitching about the fact that Ana has a bigger dick than both of you and see some fighting." Huldah was sitting cross-legged on the floor, leaning forward with her head in one hand, waving the other in circles at us like she was watching a boxing match, Beal stood next to her holding the baby and hiding his smile in the curls of his son's hair.
Everyone else didn't even try to hide their smiles or laughs. However, any adult near a child put their hands over their ears so that they didn't hear any cussing.
"No cussing. We may be fighting, but there are little ears here." Ana was trying to look serious, but I could hear the amusement in her voice as she winked at Huldah who smiled back.
"Ok, enough. Christian, remember no saving Ana, she doesn't need it" As Zeus finished speaking, he turned and threw the lightning bolt without warning and it was aimed straight for her heart, and my stomach once more dropped knowing that with the speed it was going, I wouldn't get to her in time even if I
shimmered, but I soon found out just how right Zeus was when he said Ana didn't need saving.
I watched in shock as she stepped to the side, catching the weapon and throwing it back at such a speed I couldn't see it until it hit Zeus in the thigh. Within seconds she was over to Zeus, pulling it out of his leg and crouching to make sure he was ok. "I'm so sorry I thought you would catch it, are you ok?" Zeus stood up laughing.
"I'm fast Ana, but it would seem you are faster. I didn't even know where you had aimed it until I felt it." He was laughing and rubbing his now healed thigh, "Well I can say being stabbed by my own weapon would have sucked if I could feel pain but as it stands the only thing bruised is my ego."
Ana laughed and hit him on the arm before walking back over to where she had been standing. "Ok, Christian, we've seen she can handle herself, so no holding back, we both go at the same time. If you can't attack her, I will understand, but if that's the case, sit it out because I can promise you, she will be fighting more than one being at a time, and speaking from experience, my offspring are ruthless and their offspring are worse. So, can you fight her and I mean really fight her or do we need to bring someone else?"
I looked at Ana, unsure if I could do this until Zeus spoke and made up my mind for me. "I could always get Hades to take your place, I am sure he has a lot of pent-up anger from his humiliation yesterday."
"I'll do it. Don't mention that fuckers name to me again unless it's fucking necessary." Zeus burst into his other form as gasps rang out around the room from the children.
I turned to see the children all clapping their hands in excitement while Huldah looked as excited as they did as she clapped her hands bouncing up and down screaming for Ana to kick ass as we all stood ready in our other forms.
Zeus and I walked around Ana slowly stalking her, until we were behind her and she never moved a muscle. She never even looked at us. She simply stood still as her massive wings ruffled behind her and gold blades flew from under the feathers hitting us both in the arms and legs as she turned in a blur so that she was now facing us again.
"Come on, I feel like you're not even trying," Ana taunted us as I pulled the blades from my body, with Zeus doing the same as we both threw them on the ground.
"That was a dirty trick, wife of mine." I couldn't help but feel proud of Ana as she watched me moving around her to try and catch her off-guard as Zeus went the other way.
I was standing in front of her as Zeus ran at her from behind but before Zeus could attack Ana had her hands around his throat, and as Ana was preoccupied with Zeus I attacked, but just as I reached her, she kicked her leg out hitting me in the center of his stomach sending me flying and almost crashing into a wall, at the same time she threw Zeus across the room in an effortless move.
Both Zeus and I stood immediately, looking at her, unable to hide our impressed expressions. She was fucking incredible Zeus looked at me smiling
"Christian, don't ever piss off your wife. It looks like you will lose in a fight if you do." He was laughing as he walked closer to Ana. "Ok, time for weapons."
The thunderbolt that Zeus had back in his possession was now covered in white and blue flames, and he was smiling at Ana as he spun it around in his hands before he lunged for her, catching her off guard.
He had her by her throat as he held the thunderbolt up like he was about to stab her with it as he lifted her off the ground. Ana grabbed the bolt and I was about to run over to her to stop her from touching it, fearing what it would do to her. Forever the protector.
I stopped before I reached her as I saw Ana smiling at Zeus once more, as she pulled on the thunderbolt and I could see from where I was standing that Zeus was really trying to keep hold of his weapon but Ana was making it impossible.
Once she got the weapon of Zeus, she used her wings to propel herself forward, smashing Zeus's back into the wall, and the shock of it made Zeus lose his grip around her throat as she grew a little so that she was now the same height as him. Ana held the weapon against his throat, getting right in his face.
"You really are going to have to try harder than that old man!" I shimmered behind her soundlessly, seeing my chance now that she was paying attention to Zeus, and I managed to grab her around her waist and hold my knife up against her throat. As I held her, I noticed that the flames that covered her body were warm and tickled my skin, causing goosebumps to cover my entire body.
"Baby you need to make sure you stay alert or you will get caught by surprise" I genuinely thought that I had her but she grabbed the weapon that was at her throat and used all of her strength to push it away, and she was insanely fucking strong, and I was shaking with the effort it took to stop her pushing it away.
Once she had it far enough away from her throat, she dropped to the floor and kicked my legs from under me, and as I landed on the floor she jumped on top of me, holding her blade at my throat and held her other hand out towards Zeus, holding him against the wall.
Smiling Ana turned to look down at me and shook her head. "Baby, you need to stay more alert or you will get caught by surprise." She laughed as she threw my own words back at me before she kissed me and shimmered away.
Fuck she was fucking magnificent but I had to admit I felt the same way that Zeus was when I felt my ego beating. I huffed as I stood up, listening to the cheers coming from where everyone who was sitting and watching us.
Ana was now standing facing me as Zeus came to stand next to me. "You're doing well Ana now let's see what magic you have" Zeus sounded as frustrated as I was at getting my ass kicked.
"How do I know what magic I have?" Ana sounded a little unsure of herself and I hated seeing her look so vulnerable.
"Just feel the magic in you. I want you to try to disarm us." Zeus glamoured his lightning bolt away, and two massive swords took its place, he handed one to me, and I took it and waited for Ana to attack.
She stood looking at us both and held her hands out and I felt the weapon in my hand getting hotter and hotter I looked down to see that the sword Zeus had handed me was now melting when I looked over to Zeus's sword, I saw the same was happening to his, so we they both let go and let the melting swords land on the ground.
"Well, that's certainly one way to take the enemy's weapon, now can you take it without melting them, because I am pretty sure that Hephaestus would like to have the weapon that Ares stole from him. So, you need to take them without destroying them."
Ana nodded her head and took a deep breath as Zeus glamoured two more swords, Ana took a deep breath and closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, she was smiling, as the glow in her eyes got a little brighter.
I felt the sword in my hand start to shake and my grip grew tighter, and it took every ounce of strength I had to keep hold of the fucking thing, and judging by the shaking in Zeus's hand he was having the same problem.
I heard a growl come from Ana in frustration, and I couldn't help but smile back at her, which made her growl some more as her face became more determined. She held her hands out towards us and the swords shot out of their hands straight into hers, and she looked up to them with a beaming smile on her beautiful face.
"Ok, so what other magic do you have?" Ana took another deep breath before she held out the swords in front of her, and opened up her hands, and as the swords floated in front of Ana looked up at the wall behind us and the swords went flying past us missing us by an inch and creating a crack in the wall that grew and bits of the wall broke off in chunks.
Ana held her hands out again and the swords burst into ashes and the wall fixed itself, "Ok, Christian we need some of your brothers to join us because no doubt she will be the target for everyone when we fight Hera's army, we need to know she can handle more than two of us."
"No, I'm sorry but she has proved that she can fight us both, we are the most powerful beings in any world, if she can beat us, she can beat anyone." Zeus burst out laughing which both confused and pissed me off.
"I hate to break this to you but we are not the most powerful beings anymore, Christian. Your wife is, and yes, she can beat us, but Ares has a weapon that can kill a God, all it will take is for her to be subdued by a few of my children and their children, and Ares could end her life. Do you want to risk that, because believe me, my children have the means to subdue her? Also, are we forgetting two of your Demons are helping them, for all we know, Elena and Leila could have recruited their own little army. We have to be prepared for everything so your brothers need to join in."
I was shaking with anger at the thought of what Zeus had just said and what could happen to Ana. "I will fucking end them, I don't care who they are to you they will not hurt my wife."
"Then bring your brothers in so that we can see if she can handle being attacked by a group, two of us is clearly very easy for her but we don't know if a group would be, we need to cover every eventuality."
I called out for my brothers and they all appeared immediately. They had all been waiting for my call because they were told that they would be looking after the children once I had called all my subjects back into the throne room so that they could witness her powers.
"Brothers, we need you to help us train Ana, she needs to learn to fight a group of people, will you help us?" My brothers all looked at Ana frowning and she gave them all a nervous smile and shrugged her shoulders.
They all agreed, and the nerves that I felt were overwhelming and suffocating. I didn't like that Ana was going to fight my brothers, but Zeus was right. Ana was the target for this fight, so she would be the one that they would come for with everything they had. I walked over to Ana just needing to know that she was ok with what was about to happen.
"Are you ok, kitten?"
"Yeah, I'm kind of excited. There is something inside of me that's itching to come out and I have no idea what it is but it feels powerful and it's making my whole body hum with excitement."
I smiled at her as I gave her a quick kiss, not wanting her distracted by anything. "Ok baby," I held her face in my hands and smiled at her. "I love you and you're doing so well." I kissed her forehead, closing my eyes, and taking in her scent before I walked away.
Ana
I was standing in the middle of Christian, Zeus, and all Christian's brothers, apart from Beal. Even Elliot had joined in the sparring session, and all of them were crouched as if ready to pounce as they walked around me, with their weapons, ready and none of them taking their eyes off me. I thought it would be intimidating but it was thrilling and I couldn't wait to push myself, my strength, and my magic.
Sathanas ran at me first with his sword ready to hit me when I lifted my arm and glamoured a sword that collided with his, causing little sparks to fly around us and I saw someone coming from the other side and ducked in time to miss the sword aimed for my head.
I kicked my leg out, knocking whoever had come for me off their feet, and when they landed on the floor I saw that it was Elliot.I winked and spun around, sensing someone coming at me from behind. I smiled when I grabbed Abaddon by his throat and threw him off to the side before he could react.
Someone threw a dagger at me from my right that I caught before throwing it back and saw it land in Leviathan's thigh, he hissed as he pulled it out, and she couldn't help but smile at the frustration she saw on his face.
I was caught off guard by someone who had grabbed me from behind, as Abaddon came at me from the front, so I used the strength of my wings to force the person who had hold of me to let me go and as he did my wing flew out knocking whoever it was across the floor.
I ducked when Abaddon flew at me with his sword aiming for my heart, so I grabbed the blade of his sword and spun around, lifting Abaddon off the ground and throwing him so far he landed at the main entrance of the throne room.
The thing that I had felt that wanted out of me earlier was getting closer and closer to the surface until I couldn't hold it in any longer and I felt myself rising up as the room started to shake, and suddenly everyone that was around me flew back against the wall and I heard them all cry out in anger as I turned them back into their other forms, and the floor beneath me opened up and the same golden flames that surrounded my body flew out.
I looked down into the hole and I could see thousands upon thousands of glowing golden Demons all trying to climb out of the hole. I remembered something similar happening with Asmodeus when we fought him at the warehouse.
Shit, she had her own fucking army!
I closed the hole before any of the Demons climbed out and let the men slide down the wall. As I took in my surroundings, I was shocked to see that Zeus had even turned back from his God-like appearance to his human one and he looked so confused as everyone looked, and I felt.
"How the fuck did you do that? and what the fuck was coming out of the floor?"
I came down from where I was still floating, slowly with a sheepish look on my face, unsure of what to say, so I just shrugged my shoulders and bit my lip. "I think I may have my own army," Everyone looked like they were in shock as they watched me like they were seeing me for the first time.
"Well, I think it's fucking safe to say she can handle herself if a group is attacking her." Abaddon sounded pissed off which made me self-conscious and unsure of how I felt about the way everyone was suddenly watching me.
"Guys, you can't be mad at me, you wanted me to test my powers and show you what I could do." Christian walked over to me, pulling me into his arms.
"I don't think they are mad at you, sweetheart. I think their egos are a little bruised. What you just did has never been done before, you forced us to change, even Zeus. That takes immense power. I'm proud of you sweetheart you can clearly handle yourself, and knowing you have your own legions of Demons sets my mind at ease a lot more."
I was holding onto Christian when Zeus came over to us. "Ana, your husband is right, no one is mad at you, I promise. After all, how can we be you were only doing what you were told to do, also anyone feeling annoyed right now needs to realize that your power may well save their lives one day." He spoke loud enough for all the sulking men in the room to hear him, as they all grumbled and turned to walk over towards the children.
"Ok, now we need to get the children in the backroom and bring in our subjects" I inwardly cringed knowing I had been dreading this part all day.
"Do we need to do this part? They already know that I have power, I mean, what exactly am I supposed to do?"
"We have someone who needs to be punished he has been held here and tortured long enough for us to know for sure that he can't tell us anything that will help us, plus I think we know all we need to know to win this fight so it's time we dealt with him for good."
I knew exactly who Christian was talking about and suddenly I was excited about what was about to happen.
I turned to Huldah and Beal, who were cooing over baby Liam, so they hadn't heard what Christian had said, so I walked over to talk to them. At my approach Huldah looked up and smiled.
"Ana, you were incredible, I can't believe you took all of them on at once and won, it was amazing," Huldah was laughing as Beal just watched her like she was his entire universe.
"Thanks, honey. I need to talk to you." They both looked at me with the same frowning expressions on their face. "Christian has just told me that they are bringing Samyaza here for his final punishment. I want to ask if you want to be here and what you would like his punishment to be." Huldah looked a little afraid at first, but then she looked at Beal, Liam, and Ava.
"I want to be there to see him punished." Huldah sounded so determined, which made me relax a little.
"Ok, what about you Beal?" Beal pulled Huldah and Liam closer to him, growling a little.
"I want to watch that fucker burn, I want him in my kingdom on that wheel burning for eternity. He will never sleep, he will never eat, and the torture will never fucking stop. You want to show your subjects what you can do, change him into his other form, and strip him of his powers. I want him to feel the pain as a human would. He has been in pain, but the pain is nothing compared to what he will feel without his angelic powers."
With another look at his family, Beal looked back at me with determination. "Ana, I have one more request, when we find Elena and Leila, I want them to suffer the same punishment, can I have your word that they are mine?"
I smiled up at him, sympathetically because I knew I would ask for the same in his position. "You have my word they are yours, today I will do as you have asked, then I will hand him over to you to do as you wish." Beal nodded down at me and smiled before leaning over to kiss Huldah on her forehead, closing his eyes and I knew he was thinking about that time without her.
I walked over to Christian who had been watching our exchange. "So, are you ready, sweetheart?"
"I'm ready, but before you bring them in, you need to give the children their powers," Christian stopped everyone who was making their way to the room they had been in the day of the coronation.
"Elliot, Izzy, bring your children forward, they are owed something they should have had a long time ago, sit on one of the seats."
They did as they were told and Ava sat next to Izzy on her own seat and Huldah was next to her holding Ava's hand in one hand and holding baby Ella in the other.
Christian walked over to Elliot and placed his hand on his shoulder, "Elliot, it's you who has to give them their powers, simply place your hand on their head, concentrate on where the power is in your body and push it into them."
"Will it hurt them?
"No, they will be perfectly fine." Elliot stood and handed Mia to Christian who sat down with her and as Elliot placed his hand on Mia's head I watched as Mia smiled and the red pentagram that I had once seen appear in Izzy's eyes was now glowing in Mia's, as Mia's little body grew slightly her hair getting a little longer and glossier and I noticed tiny little fangs growing but not big enough to be obvious as Mia's smile widened.
When Elliot finished with Mia, he moved on to Jamie, and his eyes glowed exactly like Mia's, and little fangs appeared, he also grew slightly just like his sister.
When Elliot got to Ava, I watched as her eyes glowed, but instead of it being a red pentagram hers was an ice white pentagram and she didn't grow any fangs, she did, however, grow by about half a foot making Izzy gasp.
I had to admit I was nervous about giving Ella her powers because Izzy, despite her change, could still breastfeed, and if Ella grew fangs, then I was guessing breastfeeding would be over with and I didn't want to take that from Izzy. I remembered how much I missed that bonding experience with the twins.
Elliot placed his hand gently on Ella's head, smiling down at her, and when he did her eyes glowed much like Mia and Jamie's. after he had finished, he checked her gums and blew out a sigh of relief.
I leaned forward to see what he was seeing and noticed that as yet she hadn't developed any teeth, let alone fangs. Izzy looked like she was going to cry with relief, and the only visible change I could see in Ella was that her body seemed to grow slightly.
"Ok, now that's done, we need to get the children into the back room, Ava sweetheart, will you play on your iPad and put your earphones in and don't look up, I don't want you seeing what's happening in here. Can you do that for me?" Christian spoke to her in such a loving, and caring way, that I melted a little. I loved how much he loved our family.
"I promise, Uncle Chris." I walked up to Christian and hugged him around the waist as he wrapped his arms around me. Once everyone was gone myself, Christian, Beal, and Huldah sat down watching as everyone filled the room.
Once the room was filled and everyone had paid their respects to us all, Christian stood and the room fell silent. "Bring in the condemned!" His booming voice echoed around the room as Abaddon walked in dragging a chained Samyaza behind him and I was disgusted the second I saw him. I hated this fucking man after what he did to those I loved.
I moved to stand next to Christian and he turned his head at my approach, smiling down at me. "Samyaza, you tried to kidnap my children and succeeded in taking the woman who is to become my brother's Queen when she was pregnant with his son, what do you have to say for yourself?"
Samyaza fell to the floor after Abaddon gave him a shove, causing him to land on his face as his hands were tied behind his back. He looked pitiful which gave me some pleasure.
"I'm sorry for my part in what happened. Please, you have to believe me. I will never do anything like that again. Please, you can throw me in a cell for the rest of my existence, just don't take me back there please. I beg you show me mercy."
I felt her rage at the pathetic asshole begging for mercy so I crouched down lifting his head by his hair. "Did you show mercy when you tricked my mother into sleeping with you, you know that's rape, right? Did you show mercy when you set off a bomb in a room filled with children and a pregnant woman? Did you show mercy when you kidnapped that pregnant woman and hurt her, and allowed others to hurt her? Not to mention the countless women you have forced to have sex with you, because I know that it isn't just my mother you did that too. Did you show any of them mercy?" He looked like he was going to cry which made me roll my eyes in disgust, He truly was a fucking disgrace.
I dropped his head with a small thud as I stood back up. "Let it be known that we will never show mercy to anyone looking to hurt any of our family. There will be others who will try to come for us, but know now you will not succeed. We have told you this before, yet some never learn. You can all witness today what kinds of punishments will await you should you decide to follow through with any plans you have made to attack or overthrow us."
I took a deep breath as Christian smiled and stood back from me. "Abaddon lift him" Abaddon stepped forward smiling, and grabbed his hair pulling him up to his feet. "Beal, Huldah, can you come forward?" They both stepped forward, looking at me, confused, "Beal, why don't you inform the condemned what his punishment is to be."
Beal's eyes sparkled, replacing the hate that had been there seconds before, as he looked at me and smiled, "Thank you sister," I winked at him knowing that he needed this. I looked at Huldah and for the first time since I met Huldah, she looked scary, as she stepped forward and I was confused as to what she was doing because I had thought she would have stayed back and let Myself and Beal deal with this.
"Ana, I need... "Before Huldah could say what she needed, Elliot and Izzy were running from the back room as Ava appeared in front of them.
"She needs me." Ava reached out for Huldah's hand as she placed her other one on Samyaza, we all watched in silence as Huldah's eyes started to swirl and Ava's eyes did the same, only instead of lilac they were white like there was a storm in her eyes. And whatever they were seeing, Beal must have seen because he started to growl and was panting like he was trying to control himself.
I still confused opened my mind up and was horrified when I saw Huldah bloodied and bruised as this sack of shit in front of me talked about getting rid of her baby and keeping her for himself, talking about having fun with her in a way that made my skin crawl. I couldn't stop myself as I pulled my hand back and hit him so hard, he went flying into the wall, causing a huge hole and cracks that spread up to the ceiling.
I held my hand out and Samyaza flew back towards me, and when he was back in front of me, I placed my hand over the lip that had split down the middle and let my magic flow into him so that it wouldn't heal. I fucking hated this bastard and if his punishment didn't belong to Huldah and Beal, I would gladly come here every day to torture him.
Huldah and Ava were standing, glaring at Samyaza, as Christian held onto Beal's arm, stopping him from killing Samyaza, he was whispering in Beal's ear, and I could see his breathing slowing down. Izzy and Elliot walked over to Ava, placing their hands on her shoulder and pulling her back, a little relief evident the further away from Samyaza they got.
Beal looked at me as he walked over to Huldah and wrapped his arms around her, nodding for me to do what I had to do.
I couldn't hide the look of disgust on my face, and as he stood in front of me, I started to glow, and my body burst into the golden flames I had become used to, and I welcomed them.
I had changed back into my other form before they brought everyone in, so I had been in my human form this whole time. Christian said that it would make more of an impact if I changed in front of them, so no one had seen me like this yet, other than my family.
I smiled as I heard the gasps and murmurs coming from the crowd and saw the fear on this asshole's face.
His eyes widened as mine started to glow more, as I used my magic to pull out his other form, and he stood in front of me looking like a bloodied and bruised angel. "Hhhow did you do that?" He was stuttering in fear, which gave me a deep sense of satisfaction.
I chose to ignore his question as my hand tightened around his throat and the glow grew brighter and brighter and he screamed as I pulled his magic slowly out of his body, and as I did he started to sweat and shake, and much like the first time I did this I could feel how corrupt his magic had become and I knew it needed to be healed before it could be passed on.
When I finished, he was lying on the floor crying and shaking like a snivelling idiot. "Beal, do what you need to do, he is all yours" Beal stepped forward and lifted him up.
"Thank you, sister, Abaddon, brother, bring in the wheel." I watched as Abaddon brought in a massive wheel, and Beal dragged a screaming Samyaza behind him. He chained him to the wheel before standing back and looking over to Izzy and Elliot. "Take Ava back in the other room." They did as they were told, and the second they were gone, the wheel burst into flames and the screams that came from this sick twisted individual were chilling.
"Abaddon, take him to my throne room, but before you go, show them what will be happening to him when he is there, and keep in mind he is no longer an angel, he is human. He will feel all of this as a human and this is what will happen to any of you if you come for any of us. Your Queen has more power than you can conceive of and I promise you if you come for those, she loves you will share a fate as horrific as what you have witnessed today. If you don't believe me try us, we will come for you and we will win." As he finished talking, Abaddon produced the serrated dagger and slowly sank it into Samyaza's back, making him scream louder.
I held on to Huldah and Christian's hands as Christian once more addressed the room. "You are all dismissed and you have all been warned, but one more thing before you go, Leila and her sister Elena are wanted. They were working with Samyaza and will share his fate. If you know where they are, and you tell me you will be rewarded. If you know and you don't tell me, believe me when we find them, we will know who else is involved, and you will be punished for hiding them, think about what we have told you today and make the right choice."
When Christian stopped talking, they all bowed and left practically tripping over each other to get out, as no one had permission to shimmer in or out of his throne room other than myself and the rest of our family.
"Christian, can we go home now please?" He hugged me to him, kissing me on top of my head.
"Yes, let's get our family and go home and have some dinner. You did well today, baby, I am so proud of you." I smiled but was too exhausted for anything more as we went to get our children.
"At least now we have an idea of what I can do." Knowing a little about what I was capable of and knowing I had an army of my own made me feel more prepared for the fight ahead.
