A little later
After getting better explained thanks to the presence of Liebe things were on track. First Himari took the equivalent of a gallon of coffee to process all this and then went to talk with the four.
"Ok, so you all are mages from a place called Clover Kingdom and you are a devil.'' Said Himari to the little one.
"My name is Liebe.''
"Sure and you all were just doing regular stuff and then you ended up in the Kuoh Forests?'' Asked Himari.
"That's what we've been trying to tell you since we got here.'' Said Asta.
"Yes, we mean no harm.'' Said Mimosa.
The cop just sat down and tried to process everything.
"So this is just prove that the multiverse, magic, gods and all that Fairy Tale crap is real and I am the first one to presence it. Great.'' Thought her with the most confused feeling of them all.
"Are you officer, do you need more medication?'' Asked Mimosa.
The woman just saw those fours and she imagined if she was on a time travel movie. These kids aren't from her time period, they don't know a single thing about 21th century stuff.
"These kids aren't going to go far if left in a orphanage. I need to help them.'' Thought Himari.
"So can we leave?'' Asked Noelle.
"Listen, things are more complicated than you all imagined. First off all, there are no Clover Kingdom in here.'' Said Himari.
"Uh?'' Asked the group.
"What do you mean?'' Asked Mimosa.
"I meant that there are no register of a Clover Kingdom, Spade Kingdom or Diamond Kingdom. Never has or never will be.'' Said Himari.
"What! This cant be! You're lying!'' Said Asta.
"There is no register of your home. Here use my cell phone to check it.'' Said Himari showing off her smart phone to make sure they learn it.
"Uh? What?'' Asked Mimosa confused.
"What is that?'' Asked Noelle.
"It's a cellphone.'' Said Himari.
"Cellphone?' Asked Asta confused.
The woman just looked annoyed at that. She was going to have to explain what the things of this world and time period were for this group, wasn't it?
"This is a smart phone. Originally, they were just used for phone calls, but with time they are upgraded to have the internet, a powerful force with the knowledge of everything.'' Said Himari talking in a way that these people would get it.
"What! Impossible! There's no way this little brick has so much knowledge.' Said Noelle.
"It has. Look, type your kingdom and try to find It.'' Said Himari.
Secre was the only one who wanted to touch it and then she started to type it Clover Kingdom, but nothing. All it came was from a place called Ireland.
There was a bit of fear in the mages eyes. Soon they search for the nobles families like Silva, Vermillion and got nothing. Then they looked over for the Magic Squads like The Black Bulls or the Golden Dawns and still nothing. After 10 minutes of search, they were with fear in their eyes as they felt like they were totally lost.
"It can't be!'' Said Mimosa in shock.
"What is going on?! How come are we not in Clover! I demand an explanation!' Said Noelle.
"I don't know what is happening. What happened in that cave?'' Asked Asta in horror.
However after a minute of silence Nero had an idea on her head.
"I see I might have a theory. For you see way back when me and Lumire used to explore Clover we read about some forbidden spells that were about teleportation.'' Said Secre.
"Wait do you mean the first Wizard King has to do with this?'' Asked Asta.
"Not really. For you see Lumire was fascinated in learning about magic in every shape and format you can think of it. We stumbled across a forbidden spell that at first he was interesting in using but just touching was able to launch a terror that attack Clover for days.'' Said Nero remembering those dark creatures that left the scroll just by Lumire watching.
"Wait! You mean the Black Attack that happened centuries ago was caused by the first wizard King?! But he defeated them all.'' Said Noelle
"He did but he vowed to never get near that scroll again, we destroyed it but I think someone must have re created the spell since them. Apparently the spell was about teleportation to the point of breaking the fabric of reality and transporting people to another plain of existence and life.'' Said Nero with a serious explanation.
While a bit crammed at the end both Noelle and Mimosa could understand what she was saying and Asta too.
"We are not in Clover anymore?'' Asked Noelle in fear.
"Yes, and I don't know any method of bring us back. For the time being we are all stuck in this dimension without ways of returning home. We could be here forever.'' Said Secre being honest.
The revelation shook both Noelle and Mimosa to the core. All their friends back at Clover, Spade and Diamond were now worried sick that they were missing, and they could've found a way to tell them they are fine. Asta however was the one who was taking this the most serious.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAH! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!'' Scream Asta in horror.
"Stop with this. I think I am going to become deaf.'' Said Himari.
"But how do you think we are going to react?'' Asked Secre with a point.
The officer saw the world displaced teens looking like they just lost their lifes and well…in a sense yes. They were in a different world, with different history and different set from their original one.
"Captain, Finral, Vanessa, Luck, Magna, Gauche, Gordon, Henry, Vice Captain, Charmy, Yuno…they are not here.'' Said Asta in tears.
The girls tried to console Asta and make sure he was ok. It was hard to see one of the key ffiguree for the safety of Clover break down like this, not even when he lsot his arms for a while he was acting like this. Himari felt that these kids need it help and maybe she could be that.
"Hey!'' Said Himari.
"Uh?'' Asked the group.
"We can find something for you all to do while here. Never say never.'' Said Hiamri with an old catchphrase.
'What! But we are stuck here.'' Said Noelle.
"There must be something to bring you all back to your world, I don't know a spell or some kind of device. Horn girl, do you have any idea?'' Asked Himari to Secre.
The quiet one looked to the side and just had a thoughtful look.
"Lumire believe that some ancient forbidden spells could be countered. Maybe there is a way to reverse this and put us back in Clover.'' Said Secre.
"Oh so you are saying there might be a way?'' Asked Asta.
"Yes, but don't put our hopes too soon.'' Said her.
"Oh great.'' Said Asta feeling a lot better.
While Himari saw all this she was also worried about what would happen if this news got out. So far only she knew about these kids beign from another world, if this goes out the government will lock them and do experiment.
"These kids don't deserve this kind of shit. I can formulate some lie in the report.'' Thought Himari.
"Miss Himari, thank you so much for helping us! I am promise that I wont forget what you did it!'' Said Asta bowing really hard.
The woman couldn't help but to chuckle at that, she saw Noelle and Mimosa blushing at that and she could see the love triangle shit in there.
"He is cute.'' Thought Himari with a smile.
The other girls didn't like that smile as they felt a little bit annoyed by that.
"Alright, we have a deal and I think we can make this a little bit under while we look for a way to get you all back home.'' Said Himari.
"Uh ok.'' Said Asta.
"What are you going to do?' Asked Asta.
"I need to call a few favors and then try to make sure nobody learns about your identities.'' Said Himari.
"Oh great! Thank you so much.'' Said Mimosa.
"We are trusting our life's into you. Don't mess this up.'' Said Noelle all serious.
"You are fun.'' Said Himari with an annoyance.
"What else should we do?'' Asked Asta.
"Unless you have interdimensional money I don't know how to handle this situation. I am not that rich and the best I could get its sending you all to a shelter or maybe into a government house. I am sorry kids but you need a lot of money to survive in this city.'' Said Himari.
Asta was already nervous because he didn't had one cent, Nero was all quiet while both Noelle and Mimosa looked at each other with an idea.
"Wait!'' Said the two.
They took off some stuff from their ears, fingers and purses and put down on the table.
"I have my earing and my bracelets. They are a family earlum but its for a good cause.'' Said Mimosa.
"I also have some rings, a few coins and my hair tiara.'' Said Noelle.
"I also I think I have some little rubies in my purse.'' Said Mimosa.
"I have an old jewel that I got from Christmas and I barely use it.'' Said Noelle putting on the table.
The cop looked at the things that both girls were putting on and she was in shock upon inspecting them closely.
"Wait! These are reals! This is real gold and other minerals?'' Asked her.
"Yeah. Why do you think it wasn't?'' Asked Noelle.
"You guys have actual gold, diamonds around your fingers?'' Asked Himari.
"Of course! We also have some silver in our bracelets and a few rubies down.'' Said Mimosa.
This was already a big advantage, with this they were already richer than 90% of Kuoh, only equal or above or the Gremory and Sitri families.
"What are you going to do miss Himari?'' Asekd Asta.
"Give me an hour! I think I have a solution.'' Said her.
The cop took this information and went off to have some ideas, lots and lots of ideas. She was going to have a huge headache later and she need it to be fast.
"So do we just keep quiet here or what?'' Asked Secre confused.
45 minutes later
Himari soon arrived. A notebook full of notes and a look of determination in her eyes.
"Alright, here's the deal!'' Said Himari all serious.
"What are you saying?'' Asked Asta.
"Do you all want to stay in this city without any troubles?'' Asked Himari.
"Yes!''' Said the group.
"Alright, we will make some ID for you all later today. Those people own me a few favors and this way we can take identification out of the way. Now while you have no parents in this world I can write down you are all student from Europe, you girls sure don't look Japanese and I don't know about you boy. Anyway, just make sure to not get in trouble with the law and you will be in a good radar.'' Said Himari.
"Understood, what else?'' Asked Nero.
"With these jewels you all can do a lot of things, but you need to do three steps that will be the instrumental for survival here.'' Said Himari.
"Ok, what are they?'' Asked Asta.
"First, you need to buy a house to live in. You all can handle parents and other things later.'' Said Himari.
"That seems ok.'' Said Mimosa.
"Second, you all need to work at some place. So the people can see an income going around to pay for the bills. I don't know how much these things will last since you are stuck here for god knows.'' Said Himari.
"I can work! I love working!'' Scream Asta.
"No, I mean a paying job and has to be all of you.'' Said Himari.
"What!'' Said Noelle in disgust.
"Don't worry we will make sure she works too.'' Said Nero.
"I worked in the past!'' Scream Noelle remembering when she pretender to be a bartender.
"You lasted 5 minutes the first time and 10 on the last one. I covered for you the entire time.'' Said Nero.
"Urgh!'' Said Noelle pissed.
"This is important so quiet acting like a baby! Third and the last one that will make everyone buy you are all regular people….you all have to join our school, Kuoh Academy.'' Said Himari.
The group just looked at that lost one a bit confused, joining a school? What would that be good for? I mean Noelle, Mimosa and Secre were all tutored since kids and Asta was homeschooled but who knows what would happened.
"School? That sounds fun!'' Said Asta all excited.
So yes, not a big chapter or that convoluted. It was a fun one about Asta and the gang seeing how they are going to survive around here. Big shout out to one exclusive member who gave me the inspiration for the scenes of this story. This will be different from the standard DxD crossover. Now next chapter will be the gang setting in Kuoh. Let's see how they will handle owning a house, having a job and joining school. See you all later.
