Hi there everyone, I am happy that this story is getting a lot of good attention. Thanks for this outside of the Fairy Tail story this is the Mashle fanfic with most chapters. Its sad that Mashle is not a big hit outside of Japan, ok its not like the series is groundbreaking and has over 1000 chapters but its something fun in a era where every Shonen tries either too hard or play safe. Well this is a chapter out of the area from the Mashle story now lets see what happens.
At the UA teachers' lounge
The Pro Heroes teachers heard Nezu proclamation and they were all in shock. There was a quirkless student in UA. For real?
"Wait, a quirkless student! Here in this school! Are you certain of that Mister Principal?'' Asked President Mic.
"Yes, he is a student of General Courses. Class 1-C, name's Mash Burnedead.'' Said Nezu showing the picture of the student.
The heroes were expecting someone bombastic, someone that looked like a champion or a prodigy of some sort. Instead, they see a kid with a bowl haircut and some blank expression.
"Is this a joke? Is this like some sort of fake picture?' 'Asked Aizawa.
"No, this is really him.'' Said Nezu.
"What is his goal? Does he plan to go the hero course?'' Asked Snipe.
"He is aiming to become a Visionary on the Bureau of Quirks.'' Said Nezu.
The teachers hear that and were with a shock look. They expected the usual thing of trying to reach hero course and be a pro, but this was something new.
"A visionary! Him!'' Said Cementos in shock.
"Don't make me laugh. He might be strong, but it takes a lot to achieve these standards.'' Said Vlad King.
"I have to go with Vlad, not to break the kid dream but there's no way he can achieve the role of a Visionary. Is almost like trying to become the Number One hero without a quirk is just impossible.'' Said Power Loader.
"I agree too. He might have some trump card but in a world that keeps breaking reality there's no way he is going to reach that far.'' Said Ectoplasm.
Nezu expected these sorts of criticism, he agree that what Mash was doing seemed very unlikely for someone of his caliber but he felt that impossible things could be breaken too. Then the one that Nezu was waiting to hear the most finally spoke, Toshinori Yagi the Number One hero All Might who was in his real form.
"Mister Principal is this really true? Is he…quirkless?'' Asked Toshinori to Nezu.
"Yes, this boy is the first quirkless student in the history of UA. Quirkless since birth and currently too.'' Said Nezu with a wink to All Might who felt a bit off.
The number one Hero just saw this picture of the blank express student, wondering what was going on his head to be around in a place where Quirks were the thing that mattered the most.
"Do you think he is safe?'' Asked All Might.
"I am confident that he is fine.'' Said Nezu who feels that Mash wont be bothered by Bullying of some sort around UA.
"And aiming to become a Visionary. It's a big dream…almost too big.'' Said All Might.
"While I first thought that Wahlberg was messing with me upon seeing that boy I believe that…there's hope in that dream.'' Said Nezu with a smirk. He saw what Mash was able to do and he was already truly impressed.
"You think this boy that boy can actually do it?'' Asked All Might.
"Maybe…or maybe I am thinking of the other quirkless student.'' Said Nezu with a whisper in the last part which made All Might flinch a bit.
"Well…you see young Midoriya has power enough to sustain with the others from his class.'' Said All Might.
"I agree but it doesn't mean that he could've achieved amazing results if he stayed his true self.'' Said Nezu.
"But…'' Said All Might trying to counter argument but Nezu cuts him.
"Plus, UA never discriminate anyone.'' Said Nezu.
The rodent looked at his colleagues and made his statement.
"We are still a regular school, yes we train the next generation of Heroes but we sill take care of the others that aren't here to fight. While you might doubt on Young Burnedead dream I actually have some faith on him. I think we are about to see something magical in this year.'' Said Nezu.
"Yes, I have to say that he has a physical status very impressive, but it takes a lot than just muscle to be around the heroes.'' Said Aizawa.
"That's not going to be a problem, I am sure the boy is very versatile.'' Said Nezu.
"I don't know at the moment but lets see what the mushroom head kid can do.'' Said Snipe.
"By the way where is Vice Principal Farman? I need him to sign some papers for me.'' Said Midnight.
"Oh, I fired him. I discovered that he was taking money from students and treating to expel them if they didn't do what he said.'' Said Nezu.
The information was brief but everyone in the room had a sense of relaxed. Nobody liked Farman.
"I knew that guy was scum.'' Said Vlad King.
"Son of a bitch thought was invincible. Now who's laughing.' Said Snipe.
"So who's going to be the next vice principal?'' Asked Cementos.
"Its ok, we will deal with this later. I also want to point out that Wahlberg is already investing on young Burnedead and has his name on the Bureau files.'' Said Nezu.
"The Bereau is going to be ruthless on him. Not just the main force but the others Visionaries.'' Said Vlad King.
"Besides most of them aren't the most friendly people on Earth.'' Said Midnight with a bad feeling.
"Including Madl…son of bitch.'' Said President Mic already with hate in his voice just thinking of that individual.
"Let's keep our opinions to ourselves. The year just started and Young Burnedead has to prove himself to impress us and most of the higher ups.''' Said Nezu.
"So is going to do spectacular? Like is he going to beat all the kids on 1-A and 1-B?'' Asked Snipe.
"He is not aiming to become the number one hero.'' Said Nezu.
"Yes, but becoming a visionary is really hard. Those people the only can defeat all of them is All Might himself.'' Said Cementos.
"I know I am strong but I don't like to push into people face. The visionaries are powerful but they are not invincible, like I am clearly not. I just don't see how Young Burnedead will be able to compete the like of them.'' Said All Might.
"Well, we will just have to wait and see.'' Said Nezu with a smirk.
The teacher just then decided to change the subject. They had to deal with others fact to teach the rest of the Hero course, while most of them discuss All Might couldn't help to keep looking at the picture of Mash.
"Toshinori are you ok?'' Asked Nezu.
"Yes, I am just…'' Said him looking at Mash picture with interest.
"I know you want to help him.'' Said Nezu.
"This young boy might suffer the same redicure as Young Midoriya and I. I don't know how we can help him in the same matter we did with Young Midoriya.'' Said All Might.
"Let's see how faith works its way.'' Said Nezu.
The two share a smile as they put Mash picture on the table, just waiting for what the future would bring.
At the Halls of UA.
Mash and Finn had just finished class, and they were now just having a chit chat.
"Class was hard, but I was able to understand thanks to you Finn.'' Said Mash.
"Thanks, I tried my best.'' Said Finn.
"Ok. Can I tell you something about Cream Puffs?'' Asked Mash.
"Uh sure.'' Said Finn a bit confused.
"When making cream puffs, using warm batter is the key to a mouthful of happiness.'' Said Mash with his random trivia.
"Uh ok.'' Said Finn.
"Hey you with the mushroom head!'' Scream someone on the back.
The two then saw a tall student with big muscles and white hair coming towards the duo.
"Hi name's Tom Knowles, third year of the general course and captain of the UA soccer team! You can't spell Life without fire, so lets burn fo all we're worth!'' Said Tom with a great amount of confidence.
Tom Knowles Quirk: Bamboo- He can summon bamboo at any place and anywhere that he sees. As long he is hydrated and has stamina he can make as much bamboo as he want.
As Tom was talking both Mash and Finn heard some people in the hall gossip on how awesome Tom was. Calling him an obvious jock but the good kind, also they didn't know why he was talking to two random losers like Mash and Finn who were also confused.
"Soccer?'' Asked Mash.
"We are having playoffs really soon, I heard that you have a lot of stamina and you're not in the hero course. I can't let all that fire go to waste! Want to join the soccer team?'' Asked Tom.
"A first year playing for UA official soccer team?! Mash this is an opportunity of a lifetime!' Said Finn impressed.
"I never played soccer before.'' Said Mash.
"Don't be modest! I also heard you were the top score in the P.E tests of your class!'' Said Tom.
"Why are you shouting?! I said I never…'' Said Mash but Tom continued.
"The game's tomorrow and I will try my best to have you at least for 5 minutes. Have my words.' Said Tom.
"But I never…'' Said Mash but Tom kept cutting him off.
"Shoot for the stars! Even if you miss you'll land among your dreams! This is more realistic than the Plus Ultra motto! I will text you later! Gotta go!'' Scream Tom running off.
"This guy is weird.'' Said Mash with the same tone as always as Finn just had a sweat drop.
The next day
Mash did showed up or rather Tom dragged there and put the Kit into the young student. He was being put as an attacker. While looking around Mash saw that the UA stadium of soccer was half full.
"Uh I thought there would be more people.'' Said Mash.
"Yes, unfortunately the soccer world is not as popular as the hero one, but we still remain strong and shooting goals as much as we want!'' Scream Tom.
"I see.'' Said Mash.
"Don't worry, you will be fine. Go say hi to the other players, I need to resolve some things with the other team.'' Said Tom going off.
Mash saw the others team members and they all were giving the hate eye. The idea of this random guy showing up and already be on the main line just felt like an insult to everyone that worked so hard to get into this position.
"Hi my name is…'' Said Mash but they were all hostile.
"Go home freak!''
"Yes, we don't need you quirkless freak!''
"You cant kick a ball with these tiny legs of yours.''
"Piss off!''
"Why did the captain brought you here? Are you a Make a wish situation?!''
"Why are you even here?!''
"I told him I never played before.'' Thought Mash.
So yes, I changed the game to soccer which makes sense. I mean I can't have them flying on broom in here and that was something that while present in Mash felt a little bit forced. Now I am interested in how the soccer game will play out in here.
The Hero Teachers might be acting a bit off, but the idea of someone with no quirk desire to be with the best of the best is kind of surreal for them. I mean All Might admitted that Midoriya only got into UA thanks to One For All, he doesn't know what kind of stuff Mash can do. Well, just wait for them to see what happens.
Next chapter we will see Mash going full in the match and everyone is going to be amazed by it. Thanks.
