Chapter 1
Here is the rewrite, and this time, the beginning will be different but entertaining as well.
So, onto the story!
Karakura City.
It is a great place to enjoy some quality time with your family and friends, go on a date, get a good education, and even check out some of the odd rumors in the city since people say ghosts reside in the town.
Now, normally, people wouldn't listen to these ridiculous rumors since they say they're just fairytales, but what if someone could see the spirits? Who could see the monsters of the night?
Well, that's where our story begins.
Two individuals. One was blessed with power and could see spirits since the day he was born. In contrast, the other one chose to enter this strange but terrifying world.
Karakura Town.
"Issei! It's morning! You better be up, or I'll drag your ass out of bed!" A loud voice boomed into the area as a brown-haired boy groaned a bit as he looked at his alarm clock before seeing the time.
"7:30 in the morning? I hate mornings." He said as he rolled out of his bed and yawned a bit before heading to the bathroom to wash his face with some cold water and hoping to get rid of his sleep.
After splashing his face with water, he dried it a bit before looking in the mirror. The woman was a very thin, skinny female teenager with light pale skin. She had short, dark red-pinkish hair and purple eyes. She also had two thick, red, pinkish eyebrows. Her bangs are parted on both sides of her face, and she also wears dark red framed narrow eyeglasses too.
"Good Morning, Issei.~ How did you sleep last night? Busy fantasizing about a certain organgette?" She asked before the boy grunted in reply as he left the bathroom.
"No…..I was busy with….um….business." He said to save face until the girl cackled at him as she left the bathroom with him as well.
"Admit it, Issei. You and I have only known each other for what? A year? And I can tell you are in love.~" She said happily until Issei got to his dresser.
Issei rolled his eyes before smirking. "I guess I might as well ask how your sleep was then. So tell me, Aika. What perverted fantasy did you put us in this time?"
Aika smiled as she leaned on his bedroom door with a cheerful grin on her face as she regaled her tale. "Oh, just you and me with Orihime on a large lover's bed as she was covered in only a thin layer of clothing that showed off her curves and all. Oh, it made me want to pop her cherry if I could. Sadly, I don't have the mechanisms to do so." She said with a sigh of disappointment until Issei patted her shoulder.
"Don't feel too bad, Chizuru. You and I both know Orihime is a literal Angel who is too pure for this world. Unfortunately, we have the Karate Master and the King of Prudes to get through in order to even talk to Angel." Issei said as Chirzuru agreed with him on the two obstacles that stood in the way.
The Karate Master of Karakura: Tatsuki Ariasawa and the King of Prudes: Ichigo Kurosaki.
Chizuru groaned lightly as she knew how frustrating those two were when it came to Orihime. "Honestly, those two really just need to admit that they like each other already so they can bang each other." Chizuru smiled when she heard Issei laugh.
"Hah! Oh, that'll be the day, my friend!"
Chizuru giggled lightly as she asked him. "You almost ready to go, handsome?"
"Yeah. Yeah. And I'm honestly surprised that you speak to me normally compared to how you chat with the other guys at the school. You never flirt with the other guys at school."
"Meh. You're the only guy I'll ever flirt and tease." Chizuru said as Issei sighed before he opened the door that Chizuru was leaning on, only for her to fall forward and lean on his chest.
Issei looked down at Chizuru with a deadpan look and asked. "Seriously?"
Chizuru pouted at his lackluster question before asking. "You literally have a hot girl resting on you. How are you not aroused by this?"
Issei smiled as he replied. "It's simple. That's because I've gotten used to my perverted friend's antics."
Chizuru gasped dramatically as she whined. "No! My charms are weakening!" Issei laughed lightly at her display before he straightened Chizuru out, and the two proceeded to head downstairs.
"You know what? Since I'm in such a good mood right now, I'll make breakfast." Issei said as Chizuru then joyfully squealed when she heard that.
"Kyah~! I'm so happy right now! Ah! Today is going to be a good day. I can feel it!" Chizuru said as Issei chuckled at this declaration before replying.
"You've become awfully optimistic; I didn't think my cooking could have that effect on you," Issei said as Chizuru put her hands behind her head and walked beside him.
"Well, it's because you've improved in your cooking since it no longer looks or tastes like shit. AND! I can't cook to save my life. Literally, one time, I burned water. Water. Even I don't know what happened to it." Chizuru said as she also complained about the Cooking curse on her and her mother. For some reason, the females of her household haven't been able to cook to save their lives. They can make simple things like a sandwich, but cooking or baking? No.
This comment made Issei laugh at her 'family curse' as they went downstairs to see Miki smile at the two while eating some eggs she made earlier. "Well. Well. I'm happy to see my future daughter-in-law is doing well in getting her future husband up from bed, but it doesn't take forever to get dressed. I don't want to be a grandmother yet."
Issei blushed lightly before turning away and scratching his head with a scowl. "Ugh, d-dammit, mom."
Chizuru couldn't help but giggle with a smirk. "But of course, Mrs. Hyoudou, it's only reasonable for his future wife to wake up her future husband."
The women giggled at the poor boy until Issei noticed that his dad was gone. "Hey. Where's Dad?"
"Oh, he had to go to work early today since there's been a lot of trouble lately in town. Lots of destruction in different parts of the city. There's even some rumors going around about a gang doing property damage in the business district, so please be careful when you two go out." Miki said as she looked at the two kids who she loved with all her heart.
"Gotcha, mom," Issei replied, but had an idea of what was causing all of the damage in the first place.
'Guess we'll have to go hunting again. You down for that, Muramasa?' Issei asked in his head as he heard a chuckle for a response.
{I'm all for it. The web we placed around the town has been reacting to Hollows appearing lately, but luckily, they're merely newborns rather than the more experienced ones; we should keep our guard up just in case.} Muramasa said in reply as Issei mentally agreed with him.
Now, normally, hearing a voice in one's head means you are going crazy, but not in Issei's case. He has a partner inside of his soul, which may sound strange, but it's the truth.
Issei and Chizuru then headed out to their school as Issei was a third-year student, given that he transferred after his second year at Kuoh Academy back home in Kuoh Town.
Karakura High was a very good school. It was not as popular as Kuoh Academy, but the students there were more tolerable, and the teachers were actually very nice to get along with. Issei took his classes more seriously since he wanted to make a fresh start at his new school, and he was able to find a group of friends that he liked to hang out with in his classroom.
"Hey, lovebirds!" A voice called out as Chizuru and Issei groaned as they turned to see Candice Catnipp, the Gyaru of Karakura High, wave at the duo.
Candice was a tall and well-endowed young woman with long, light-green hair. She had blue eyes, prominent eyelashes, and thin, lightning-bolt-shaped eyebrows. The woman was also the definition of one since Candice was very protective of her hair due to her waking up at four in the morning to get it ready. However, despite her being a beauty, she was also reckless and impatient, which led to her getting into fights with her friends.
"Shut up bitch. It's too early to be putting up with your teasing." Liltotto Lamperd, Aka Lily, said as she walked towards Issei and hugged his waist before looking at him with her puppy eyes.
"Can I have some breakfast, please?" Lily asked as Issei chuckled at the girl's cute side before reaching into his backpack and pulling out a small bento. Lily swiped it, thanked Issei, and then ate the bento with joy as she nodded after tasting it.
"I give this five stars since it definitely wakes me up more than the crappy food that Candy, Minnie, and Bambi make back home," Lily said as Issei smiled in gratitude as he then noticed three others missing.
"Now, where's the Karate Queens Sister at?"
"I am not that woman's sister!"
"Ah, there she is," Issei said as he dodged the punches from Bambi. She tried to strike Issei for the nickname he had made for her after meeting Bambietta.
Issei could tell Bambietta was a very temperamental girl who had a kind heart under her anger issues, but Issei could tell that she was like Tatsuki in terms of being a tomboy and having anger issues. Bambi can easily be snuffed out thanks to Issei learning how to do it after spending time with her for six months.
"Good to see you, Bambi. Did you enjoy the weekend?" Issei said with a warm smile as Bambi stopped her assault and replied.
"Yes. I wish it were longer so I don't see your dumb ass!" Bambi yelled as Issei chuckled at her before replying.
"But didn't you need my help because you failed that math test and were jealous of Candice being a better student than you?" Issei said with a fake pondering face until he looked to see Bambi on the ground with a cloud of depression over her head.
"...Y-Yes." Bambi stuttered as Issei smiled at her before patting her head.
"Look, I'm not trying to be mean, but I do hope you do well on the retake exam. You'll do great." Issei said as Bambi looked back at him and smiled in thanks before hugging him.
"Thanks, Issei, but why do you put up with me? I literally act like a bitch and insult you for being yourself, so why put up with a woman like me?" Bambi asked as Issei chuckled and rubbed her head before kissing her forehead.
"Bambietta Basterbine." Issei said as Bambietta looked up before Issei continued. "I know you may act like this bitchy persona, but I know the real you. You say you hate your friends, but you care about them. You hate being touched because of what happened to you, and I never wanted to make you uncomfortable. Others may see you as just a hot-headed and angry woman, but all I see is a young woman who's been through a lot and wants to feel loved and accepted by those she does love. That's why I put up with you because I see past your actions and see your real self."
Bambietta was definitely not crying as she stuffed her face in his stomach while Issei smiled down at her and rubbed her head, thanks to a sign from Bambi that it was okay for him to touch her.
Candice smiled at this scene while Lily smirked at the two since they could tell that Issei was the kind of person who liked to get to know a person first and didn't judge them based on appearance alone.
"Mm. I want a hug, too." Meninas McAllon said as Issei gave her a bemused expression and hugged her after Bambietta let him go to give the pink-haired princess the hug she wanted from him.
"Be patient, Minnie," Issei said as he hugged her, making Meninas sigh in relief. She hugged Issei a bit too tight as Issei was rapidly patting her back.
"M-Minnie...Going...Dark..." Issei stuttered until a black-haired blur squeezed between them. Issei breathed air into his lungs again before looking down at the last member of the group.
"Hey, Gigi. How's my horror fanatic doing today?" Issei asked as he knew Giselle was a strange girl, but an interesting one at that, since he could tell the girl was a bit sadistic about blood and such, but a smack to the back of her head brought the psychopath back to reality.
"Oh, I'm doing good. Can I have some of your blood?" Gigi asked with dopey eyes before Issei smacked the back of her head like in a cop show he watched.
"Ow!"
"Enough of the vampire movies before I smack your ass."
"Ohh! Can we include Candy or Minnie?" Gigi asked, excited about it, before Issei pinched her cheeks.
"Enough, Gigi."
"Okay! I'm sorry! Please let go!" Gigi shouted as Issei let her go before the horror fanatic climbed on his back and snuggled into him as Issei continued walking with the girls of his group.
"It surprises me that Gigi doesn't really bother you. Why is that?" Candice asked as Issei replied.
"Well, Gigi isn't as scary or annoying as you made her out to be. Sure, she's a horror fanatic, but Gigi is a good person. I think." Issei said as Giselle giggled before sniffing his hair as she spoke to him.
"If you were a zombie, I'd totally date you."
"Oh, that's mean. And after we spent so much time together, you masochist." Issei said as Gigi moaned and replied with red cheeks.
"Would you really spank me until my ass is red as an apple?"
"And the moment is gone," Issei said as the other girls laughed at Gigi's pout before the group walked past the entrance of Karakura High.
"Hey, Issei! I see your group found you this morning." Ichigo Kurosaki said as Issei chuckled back at the orange-haired teen group.
"Heh. Your group is here, too. The princess Orihime." Issei said as Orihime blushed at the nickname.
"The Virgin Karate Queen and the Gentle Giant Chad," Issei said as Chad was holding back Tatsuki from punching Issei's face.
"Say that to my face! I dare you!" Tatsuki yelled as Issei smirked smugly at her before Gigi beat him to the punch by flipping her off.
"Fuck you bitch." Giselle said with a smug grin as Tatsuki tried even harder to get free from Chad. The giant held her back from destroying Giselle before Issei scolded her.
"Giselle! We do not use that language at school." Issei said before whispering to her. "Even though she is a virgin and bitch."
"Oi! I heard that! Fuck you!"
"Sorry, but I'm not into incest," Giselle said as Tatsuki yelled back.
"Who the fuck said we're related?!"
"Hey, you walked into that one yourself," Giselle said as she stuck her tongue at Tatsuki, who was about to unleash Hell upon her until the bell rang.
The two groups then departed ways as Issei, Candice, Meninas, Giselle, Bambietta, and Litlotto headed to their classroom while Chizuru headed to her classroom with Ichigo and co.
"Take good care of him, and be sure to return him in one piece!" Chizuru called out as Issei yelled back.
"Hey! I'm not a trading card. Rude." Issei said as Chizuru giggled in response before the five girls sat at their desks.
Issei was in the middle, Candice behind him, Meninas to his left, Giselle to his right, Bambietta in the middle, and Litlotto behind Candice.
This morning was the routine for the morning session, and now it was time for school to begin.
Karakura Cemetery.
"So, does the deal satisfy you, Grand Fisher?" A tall man asked as the massive Hollow grinned a sinister smile and nodded.
"Of course. Just as long as you deal with that web that's around the town. My minions have been getting killed by those strings for months now, and it's really irritating me." Grand Fished said as the man chuckled and replied.
"Of course. My boss sent one of our members with a few Hollows that you gave us to deal with the boy." The man said as Grand Fisher then nodded and left the man alone.
The man then pulled out a phone and tapped a number before calling his accomplice. After hearing the phone ring for a few seconds, it was answered.
"Yukio. Are you and Jackie in the position of the target home?" The man asked as he heard a response from Yukio.
"Yep. Jackie and I are just waiting for the kid to come alone before Jackie brings him to me, but are you sure this kid is going to be dangerous? He doesn't look that strong." Yukio said as the man looked at the file he had in his hand before replying to him.
"Yes. From what Gingo told me about his observations. The boy is stronger thanks to the sword that he bonded with a year ago." The man said as Yukio nodded and ended the call. He and Jackie were in position, waiting for their target.
Unfortunately, they're in for a rude surprise when they face Issei Hyoudou.
'Hm? Two people near my home?' Issei said in his mind as he felt two presences at his house before he closed his eyes and focused on the string reacting to the presence at his home.
{I feel it. Two humans with unique abilities that are similar to both Orihime's and Chad's powers.} Muramasa said as Issei mentally nodded before the lunch bell rang as Issei headed towards the bathroom.
"Sorry, guys. Go on without me, and I'll catch up later." Issei said as he left the five girls alone before Candice turned towards Gigi and asked.
"What happened?"
"Two people are at his home. I guess that they're waiting for him to return from class, but Issei is probably going to deal with them now. I'm intrigued by these two. Maybe I can turn them into some new zombies for me." Gigi said with a sadistic smile on her face as Minnie and Bambietta were concerned for Miki Hyoudou since they didn't know if she was still at the house, but a look from Lily stopped them.
"I get why you two want to rush over there. I want to as well, but we can't give away our identity; otherwise, Lord Ywach will know." Lily said as the other two clenched their fists and held back their anger as they wanted to help Issei but had to keep their distance for now due to the mission.
Issei was standing in the bathroom and let out a sigh as he saw that he was alone before holding out his left hand and summoning a blade in its sheath.
"Sorry, Muramasa, but it's the only way to make sure we're not seen," Issei said as Muramasa replied to him.
{I don't mind. Plus, this is a good chance for us to use that technique we've been working on after that show we watched with the flaming-haired girl.} Muramasa said as Issei smiled and nodded before taking in a deep breath as a magenta and crimson aura covered his body.
"In the realm where time meets stillness,
Where spirits dance in frozen brilliance,
Yūkai Taimu, unfold thy grasp,
Bind the seconds in an eternal clasp.
By the essence of the spiritual tide,
Grant movement to those it does guide,
Suspended in a celestial ballet,

Issei's eyes opened as he said the name of the technique.
"Temporal Sanctum - Yūkai Taimu (幽界時間, Ethereal Temporal Realm)," Issei said as the strings around the city reacted to the spell as the Femritters, Yukio, and Jackie were shocked by the sudden release of power until a sphere formed around the whole city as Issei then looked to see that the technique was working.
"Excellent. Let's go see who wants to gang up on me." Issei said as he left the bathroom and leaped from the school towards his home with Muramasa at his waist, ready for battle.
{I can still feel the two at your home. They're shocked by the seal but seem to be unaffected by it. I suggest we take a safe approach and take them by surprise.} Muramasa said as Issei nodded in response.
'Agreed. We don't know who the intruders are or why they wish to attack my home, but I'll get answers from them one way or another. Plus, this is more fun than just fighting Hollows on the regular.' Issei said to Muramasa as the duo made it to the house to see Yukio trying to analyze their surroundings while Jackie seemed to be ready for battle.
Issei used his web to weave around his house and stayed hidden before seeing that Yukio seemed to be focused on the device in his hands, which was able to help Issei come up with a plan of action.
Issei then unsheathed Muramasa as he whispered into the air.
"Awaken, Muramasa," Issei said as the blade resonated and became claws that had strings attached to them; before Issei felt connected to the web, he weaved with help from Muramasa before lifting his left pointer finger, causing a string to shoot from the web and striking the GameBoy, causing Yukio to lose it from his hands before multiple strings grabbed his hands and pulled him away as Jackie tried to pull him back. Still, the strings were too strong, and she lost Yukio, who was pulled away thanks to the strings and into the shadows.
"Who's there? Show yourself!" Jackie yelled as she got ready to fight until a laugh broke the silence, and a voice called out to her.
"Yoo-hoo!"
Jackie quickly turned around to see Issei standing on some strings as he grinned at her. "Why, hello there. My name is Issei Hyoudou. Now, would you be so kind as to tell me who you are and why you are at my house?"
Jackie didn't reply as she was about to run away until she felt something catch her right leg and pull her towards Issei before she tried to strike Issei with her left leg, but it merely went past him.
"What?" Jackie said as she landed on the ground and looked to see that the Issei she struck had become a string. "An illusion?"
"Oh no, this is all real," Issei said as he appeared in front of her, which made Jackie try to strike Issei again, but he just dodged the kicks from Jackie until she tried to do a roundhouse kick, but her leg was caught in more strings as she then felt the strings dig into her skin.
"Stop hiding behind your tricks and fight me!" Jackie yelled as she tried to get free from the strings until she saw the Issei in front of her smile; he then exploded into multiple strings that wrapped around her arms and tied her up, preventing her from moving.
Jackie struggled to escape the cocoon she was trapped in until she saw another Issei appear before her.
"Why, hello there. Now, may you grant me the name of the woman who tried to attack me? Your friend wasn't very talkative and yelled at me after I destroyed his Gameboy." Issei said as he moved his right hand to reveal a defeated Yukio who had lost his legs and arms, much to the shock of the Fullbringer.
Issei didn't care, as he then kept talking to her. "You see, I don't mind when people are trying to kill me, but when you are near my family or my friends, then I get protective of them. I could see your soul thanks to Soulstring Insight."
Issei said as he lifted his ring finger on his right hand to reveal a string connected to both Jackie and Yukio. Jackie's was white and black, while Yukiko's was green before Issei tightened the strings on her cocoon.
"Now, let's try this again. Who are you, and why are you here? Answer me with the truth, and you'll live, but if you lie, then you die." Issei said as he tightened the strings some more before Jackie gritted her teeth and yelled back.
"Fuck you!" Jackie said as Issei then sighed and decided to kill her.
"Very well then. Hope you enjoy Hell." Issei said as he weaved the strings in his hands a bit. The strings around them all moved as they began to take shape and form. Jackie was scared since she didn't know what was to come until Issei smiled as he finished weaving whatever he was making in his hands.
"Hope you like the Crimson Embrace," Issei said as Muramasa appeared behind Issei. The two moved together to bring Jackie, who was trying to get away from the torture device, into the Iron Maiden. Still, it was in vain as Issei and Muramasa pulled Jackie into the Iron Maiden and closed it before it exploded in a crimson light. The screams were muffled by the many strings until Issei and Muramasa looked at Jackie's body before Issei sighed at the bloody mess.
"Man. Why is it that the hot ones always try to kill me?" Issei asked himself as Muramasa chuckled at his partner's question before they moved the body off the street. Issei then left her in some bushes along with Yukio before he left them both as he headed back to his school while repairing the web he had used in the battle.
"I have to admit that it's strange since I've killed Hollows before, but now these humans don't make me regret killing them. Does this mean my mentality is changing? I really wanted to be a hero, but am I a villain pretending to be a hero?" Issei asked himself before Muramasa spoke to him.
{I asked myself that same question when my Koga abandoned me.} Muramasa said, much to Issei's surprise, before Muramasa continued his explanation. {My power allowed me to bring out the Zanpakto spirits of others, which would be able to help the others understand their partners and realize we weren't simple tools but people who feel emotions too. The problem is Koga saw this as a way to control others and used my power to control other Zanpakto spirits and have them turn against their partners. Eventually, when he was banished and hunted by the Soul Society, he tossed me aside in the World of the Living. Ever since then, I questioned both myself and my power if I was guilty as well because of my power, but after I met you and got to know you more and more, I began to realize that Koga was the one who abused my power just like how he abused other Zanpakto Spirits to attack their comrades so I don't see you as a villain Issei. Sometimes, heroes must do what others cannot do. It's similar to some of the other heroes in the shows that you watched with Irina. Know that even if Ichigo and the others don't trust you, know that I do, and I'll always stand by your side.}
Issei smiled at his partner's words before wiping his tears as he cried from the joy of hearing his partner's past and how he sees him. "Thank you, Muramasa. Thank you. You really are the best partner a guy like me can ask for."
While Issei headed back to his school, a shadow looked over the two bodies of Jackie and Yukio before smiling at them.
"I wonder what kind of zombies they'll make," Gigi said as she let some of her blood fall as she began to create her new minions.
Now that Giselle has seen what Issei is capable of, she is more than excited to recruit Issei to join the Sternritters.
The Fate of the World is now turning, and yes, for those wondering, Issei does know of the supernatural world thanks to him having Muramasa a year before the canon Bleach series and with how Issei has grown in the one year he's also become acquainted with the five Femritters.
Issei's techniques are unique since he and Muramasa have trained in both his mind and in the city, keeping his secret hidden from others to protect Karakura Town from the supernatural forces that threaten the souls and lives he cares for in the city.

Upon uttering the chant, Muramasa invokes Yūkai Taimu, creating a spherical sanctum where time and space are frozen. Within this ethereal realm, the flow of time comes to a standstill, and the space is suspended in a surreal stasis. Only beings with significant spiritual energy can navigate and interact within this frozen dimension.
Inside the Temporal Sanctum, individuals with spiritual energy retain the ability to move and act freely, allowing for strategic maneuvers and engagements. However, those lacking spiritual energy find themselves bound by the frozen stillness, unable to make a single step.
This technique, inspired by the concept of the Seal from Shakugan No Shana, grants Muramasa a unique advantage in battles, controlling the flow of time and space to dictate the pace and positioning of the confrontation. The activation chant serves as a key to unlock this mystical ability, blending poetic invocation with the essence of spiritual energy manipulation.
*Technique: Soulstring Insight - Tamashī no Ito, Shin'nō Kaiketsu (魂の糸、真宙解決, Soul Threads, Celestial Resolution)*
