The sun climbed higher in the sky as the newly formed alliance of heroes gathered near the park's fountain. The air was thick with tension, but a flicker of understanding had begun to replace suspicion.
"Alright," Ryder began, unfolding a small tablet. "We've been tracking strange signals across Tarabiscovillie — and they all lead back to one place."
Connor's ears perked up. "Romeo's lair."
Chase nodded. "That's what we figured too. He's been using some kind of high-frequency signal to disrupt communication systems."
Amaya crossed her arms. "Sounds like Romeo, alright. He's probably working on another mind-control device."
Greg's eyes widened. "Wait… if that's true, then everyone in Tarabiscovillie could be in danger!"
Ryder's face was serious. "Exactly. That's why we need to stop him — together."
The two teams huddled around the map, combining their knowledge of the city. Chase and Catboy planned the reconnaissance, while Rocky and Gekko discussed ways to neutralize Romeo's tech. Owlette and Skye took charge of aerial surveillance, with Everest offering backup.
Despite the rocky start, the heroes found themselves working surprisingly well together.
"I never thought I'd say this," Amaya whispered to Everest, "but I think I'm glad you're here."
Everest's tail wagged. "Me too."
With a plan in place, Ryder looked around at the gathered heroes. "Alright, Guardians of Two Worlds… let's move out."
With a chorus of determined nods, the two teams set off — united against a common enemy, ready to protect both their worlds.
