Chapter 4: Edolis pt. 2
After convincing the Members of this world's Fairy Tail to help them get to the Royal city, Natsu, Wendy, Happy, and Carla, we're being escorted by this world's Lucy and Jasper. They pasted through a village and, surprisingly, met up with Lucy from their world, Earthland, and even more shocking, she could still use her magic.
When they made it outside the city, Lucy and Jasper chose to go back to their guild not want to risk getting captured by the Royal army.
"Ay, Natsu." Jasper said, getting the dragon slayers attention. Jasper most looked at him for a moment before he ruffled his hair.
"Be careful. Hope you find your friends." Jasper said before he left, leaving Natsu with wide eyes. The Jasper from his world used to do that to him everytime he when out on a job by himself.
"Natsu?" Wendy asked, poking her fellow slayers shoulder, shocking him out of his stooper. "You okay?" Natsu gave the girl his usual smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. Now, let's go get our Friends back. I'M ALL FIRED UP!" Natsu shouted as him and his group ran towards the city.
In the city, the people were bustling and happy, it was like they were back in Magnolia. Magic was being used all over without a care even though here the power is limited.
"How can just casually throw magic around knowing it's running out?" Lucy asked as they walked through the streets. "Maybe we aren't the only ones they've stolen magic from." Wendy guessed.
"Hey, what's going on over there?" Happy said, pointing to a gathering crowd. The group made their way into the crowd and saw what the people were celebrating.
They were celebrating a giant lacrima that was sitting in the middle of the town square, the group knew right away that the lacrima was from their world.
An old man on a platform waved his hand, silencing the crowd.
"My people, I understand that we are in trying times, the magic of our world is starting to running low and you are all afraid of what will happen when it is finally gone." The king spoke over the crowd, Natsu was grinding his teeth.
"But fear not for I have found the solution. This lacrima behind me is just one of the many to come, I swear that as long as I wear this crown-" he stabbed the end of his staff into the lacrima, causing a few shards to fall off.
"You will never run out of magic!" The king shouted and the crowd cheered. Natsu was stomping forward, about to go and beat the king when someone put the hand on his head, he turned around and that it was Jasper.
Natsu was shocked to see him here. "Just calm down." Jasper whispered/yelled. "it'll be fine, just relax, you can't save them if you get caught right now." Natsu was about to retort but stopped when he saw Lucy with tears in her eyes.
Natsu clenched his fist and had a determined look on his face. "I don't care how long it takes, we're going to save them and get back home no matter what." Lucy wiped her tears away and the others all nodded. "Right!"
