Time went by and Mavis grew up alongside her new siblings Victor and Victoria and the three of them grew incredibly close as they helped around the hotel.

Mavis grew into a slender, beautiful, woman, with short black hair, wide bright blue eyes with dark eyeshadow, long eyelashes, black lips, pale skin, black varnished nails, short black dress, long black fingerless lace gloves, black leggings with red stripes, red Converse.

Victoria grew into a beautiful young woman with a slim figure and pale skin. She has a heart face, big black and light black hair like her mother Emily that she had done up in a bun. She wore a black and red striped dress with a short skirt and black shoes.

Victor grew into a handsome young man, with a lanky body and pale complexion. He had a slim face, big blue eyes like Dracula and short, messy, dark black hair. Victor wore a gray suit, buttoned up at his waist, with a brown vest and a short wide icy blue shiny tie plumped to cover his white shirt.

Victor and Victoria had received a mix of both abilities from Dracula and Emily. They were capable of changing into animals, walking on walls, flight, and the ability to detach any of their limbs, move them about, and reattach them.

Mavis and her siblings loved the hotel and the guests that stayed. They enjoyed working at the hotel and planning and scheduling events alongside their parents. Victor in particular had a love for theater and the performance art. He enjoyed coming up with plays for the staff and the guests to get involved in, even had a few murder and dinner theater performances that were very popular among the monsters.

As time went by Mavis started to grow curious about the outside world and began to have desires to explore it. This concerned Dracula greatly, who was very protective of his family and feared what humans would do if they found about monsters and ever learned the location of the hotel. Dracula would argue with Mavis and tell her she was not allowed to leave the hotel. Emily would then come in to play peacemaker between the two. The undead woman knew Dracula's heart was in the right place and understood his concerns, but she also understood Mavis's desire to want to explore the world. Eventually after a few years of debating and discussing it, they came to a compromise.

Mavis would be allowed to go out and explore the neighboring towns and countryside if she could prove herself to be very cautious and careful around humans, through a rigorous test. Dracula and Victor went about creating a area to simulate a human village and the plan was to put Mavis through it to see if she could safely navigate it and face any possible dangers within it. Mavis was determined to prove herself.

To be continued.
