Chapter 16 Party Music

Dracula and Emily went off to the lobby to find their children breaking up a argument between Frank, Wayne, Murray, Griffin, and Zombie Mozart, Zombie Bach and Zombie Beethoven. Apparently the groups were having an argument on should play for Mavis's birthday party. Zombie Mozart, Zombie Bach and Zombie Beethoven were the hotel's usual musical performers, but Frank and the others had some musical talent of their own and they want to show their skills and make the occasion special for Mavis. Johnny had already told a fake cover story to the other monsters about his identity and explained he was a relative to Frank and was helping plan Mavis's party.
"I can't believe I not only have a cousin on my right arm's side, but you're letting him help plan the party." Said Frank indicating Johnny.
"Hey I'm cool with other taking control and plan things." Said Dracula.
"I don't know man, other then your wife you really don't relinquish control over to anyone." Said Wayne.
"Yeah, you're normally Captain Control Freak." Said Murray.
"It's "Count". And yes, I thought having a Mavis contemporary would be useful." Said Dracula.
"Yeah, he totally needed a fresher perspective." Said Johnny.
"Okay, Johnny, Mr. Tight Coffin over here was planning to have these powdered lame-o's play at the party." Said Wayne indicating the zombies.
The zombie musicians grumbled in annoyance.
"So, anyways, we thought we could liven things up a bit." Said Frank.
"Whoa! You all play? Let's check you guys out!" Said Johnny looking excited.
Frank, Murray, Wayne, and Griffin pulled out their instruments and began to play and Frank and Murray began to sing.
Girl I can't believe it's your big night.
Seems like only yesterday you were eating mosquitos.
But now you're eating frogs and mice.
Scarfing them down like Doritos.
Tell me where did the time go, girl.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on guys. Stop. That's cute, but kind of old school." Said Johnny stopping the band.
"Yes, thank you, Johnny." Said Dracula relieved that the disguised human had spoken up.
"You got to totally tempo things up. Here let me show you. Werewolf man, give me a jam!" Said Johnny to Wayne.
Wayne played his instrument and Johnny began to sing a tune of his own.

Hair real cute with the bangy bangs
Little princess gonna be a queen
Legal bat lady turning 118
The monsters in the lobby joined in the sining
"118!"
Johnny took the lead.
Say 118!

"Yeah! Stage dive!" Said Johnny before diving into the floor with a crash, but he quickly got to his feet pumping his fist excitedly in the air.
"I'm so blown away right now!" Said Mavis in awe.
"That was awesome!" Said Victor.
"He's a lively one, I'll give him that." Said Victoria.
"I think my cuz is gonna make this...the best party ever!" Exclaimed Frank.
"We should do a dance contest." Suggested a monster.
Johnny's energy and style was spreading through the crowd of monsters like wildfire as they all started making suggestions to the party planner. Dracula came in to get control of the situation.
"We're not doing any of that! We've got to stay on schedule. Alright?" Said Dracula.
"Alright, Dad! Alright. Will stick to your schedule. Johnny, you're coming, too?" Said Mavis.
"I don't know. Is it cool with Dracula?" Asked Johnny.
"Johnny, come with us." Said Emily.
"Thanks mom." Said Mavis as she took Johnny by the hand and lead him away.
The other monsters followed Mavis to the auditorium for the first bit of Dracula's schedule. Bingo.
"Why are we letting him come? Johnny is drawing attention to himself and it's going to be harder to get him out of here." Said Dracula to Emily.
"Perhaps, but Mavis and the other really seem to like Johnny." Said Emily.
"They like Johnny the monster. They don't know Johnny the human and they'll probably won't be happen once they learn the truth." Said Dracula.
"True, but Johnny isn't like the humans we've known in the past. He seems to like us and he's giving this place a fresh bolt of life. I think the others wouldn't really mind Johnny being human once they get to know him." Said Emily.
"Maybe...but I just don't want to start a panic and they are those among the monster community who who hurt Johnny for simply being a human." Said Dracula.
"I don't want to start a panic either. Will just see how things go. If Johnny is in danger of being exposed or one of our people try to hurt him, will quickly get him out of here and make a excuse up, why he left." Said Emily.
"There's still Mavis to think about." Said Dracula.
"I'm going to ask Johnny how he feels about Mavis and if he loves her back and feels like a good match for her, will have to tell her Johnny's real identity. Mavis is all grownup and she can decide what should be done about Johnny." Said Emily.
"Alright will let things play out and hope for the best." Said Dracula.
"Good." Said Emily as she and Dracula headed to the auditorium to join the others.
