11/24/2656- Unified Military Resistance In The Sigalis Commonality Collapses

"Today, the Calderas Concordance struck the Union's command center for the entire Sigalis Commonality, the world of Sigalis itself. The attacking Concordance fleet destroyed much of the planet's defenses and orbitally bombarded the planet's capital city, killing millions and wiping out the majority of the Union's military and civilian leadership within the Commonality. Simultaneously, several other locations and vessels were attacked by Concordance forces, leaving all Union officials in the Commonality of command rank either dead or missing. These attacks have left the Union defenders in complete disarray, individual unit commanders lacking any direction outside of their local region. Already Concordance forces have seen increased success in conquering worlds within the Commonality, a string of victories that has already cost the lives of many Union soldiers."
