Welcome back to A Song of Spiders and Dragons. Last time, things went out of control as just after stealing the Devil's Breath from Sable, our mysterious mastermind decided to sabotage Riker's Island. Thankfully Spyro, Cynder, and Spider-Man arrived and contained the chaos there, just as somebody sent an EMP down The Raft. You know, the place all the supervillains are locked up. Things are about to get worse. But how much worse? Read on to discover...

(Our scene picks up with Spyro, Cynder, Spider-Man, and Yuri flying towards The Raft, arcing with electricity, and immediately we see the source of the electricity, a man with electrical scars resembling a mask across his face and a strange vest is standing on the building, somehow generating the electricity. And it seems he recognizes everybody coming at him, and throws a lightning bolt at them)

Spyro: (Seeing this coming) LOOK OUT!

(Spyro and Cynder manage to dodge, but the bolt hits the helicopter Spider-Man and Yuri are on, sending it spiralling out of control)

Spider-Man: Yuri!

(Wasting no time, Spider-Man rips open the door to the helicopter just as Yuri loses control of the helicopter, and he manages to sling them out of there and attempt to stop the helicopter with his webbing just as it hits The Raft. Afterwards, Spyro and Cynder swing in to make sure Yuri is alright)

Cynder: You okay?

Yuri: Yeah.

(And just as things appear to be going well, the man generating the electricity lands behind them)

Electro: Welcome to the party! Just in time for the fireworks!

(Electro uses his electric powers to fry the locks on the prisoners' cells and the restraints dampening their abilities, releasing them as he dashes further back into the prison)

Prisoner: Looks like we made parole, boys!

Spyro: Great. Electro's out.

Spider-Man: But why's he releasing the other prisoners?

Cynder: Good question, it doesn't seem like his typical modus operandi.

Yuri: I'll head for the main control center and see how bad the situation is.

Cynder: Good idea. We'll handle things here.

Spider-Man: Then let's join the party.

Spyro: (Facing the army of convicts) If everybody just goes back into their cells and locks their doors, we can forget this ever happened.

(Naturally nobody goes back to their cells willingly as all the prisoners start charging at the trio)

Spyro: Let the record show you had a chance to back down!

(And now the battle begins again, but after a few minutes, the convicts are taken down as the critical disaster alert starts ringing off)

Cynder: That can't be good.

Spider-Man: Let's see what we're getting into.

(But just as Spider-Man pries open the door out of this room, his Spider Sense goes off just as a giant man in a giant armored suit throws a concrete pillar at them, breaking down the door, revealing both himself and Electro)

Spyro: Rhino. Because of course it's Rhino!

Rhino: Hope you like surprise!

(With that, Electro and Rhino dash off into the prison again)

Cynder: Surprise? What are they talking about?

Spider-Man: Something tells me we don't want to know.

(After continuing through the prison, Yuri starts to call in)

Yuri: Hey, what's your status?

Spider-Man: Making our way through the prison, Rhino's loose too...

(As Spider-Man keeps talking, a green mechanical tail slinks down from the ceiling. Cynder hears it instantly, and forces Spyro and Spider-Man out of the way as a man in an emerald green suit with a prehensile tail confronts them, grabbing Cynder by the neck)

Scorpion: Now this is too good to be true!

Cynder: Scorpion. I see prison hasn't taught you any manners, we were in the middle of a phone call!

(But before Scorpion can strike, an explosion goes off, throwing Cynder back into Spyro and Spider-Man before Scorpion slinks off through the hole leaving the trio to deal with another group of prisoners)

Yuri: (Having overheard all of that) Lost you guys for a second, what's going on?

Spyro: Nothing good. Not only is Electro loose, but so are Rhino and Scorpion. How're things going in the rest of the prison?

Yuri: Still working on getting the camera system up. Should have a sit rep soon.

Spider-Man: Right. We'll keep tracking Electro.

(Just about as soon as that call wraps up, this next group of prisoners is dealt with as the trio moves on after the villains, and eventually manage to catch up with Electro, who keeps taunting them)

Electro: Come on, you three, I thought this was a chase!

Spyro: You'd better hope I don't catch you. I'm the only one who can neutralize your charge!

Electro: Like I'd ever let THAT happen!

(Now the chase is on. Electro leads the trio outside the prison walls)

Electro: You won't be able to catch me, though I'm flattered that you're still trying!

Spider-Man: If you just tell us who you're working for, we'll go easy on you!

(After a few minutes chase, the trio is just about to catch Electro when a fourth joins the party, a bald man in a jetpack with literal wings, grabbing Spider-Man and forcing the dragons into pursuit as they head towards the roof)

Spider-Man: Vulture?!

Vulture: Long time no see, Spider-Man! We're going to have so much...

(But before Vulture can finish that statement, Spider-Man webs him in the face as Spyro and Cynder catch up, allowing the trio to get back after Electro)

Spyro: Now Vulture is in this?! Can tonight get any worse?!

(And as if to answer that question, Yuri calls in.)

Yuri: Good news, got the cameras back up. Bad news, the entirety of The Raft's population has escaped. Including Martin Li.

Cynder: You just had to ask, didn't you Spyro!? Now there's FIVE of our worst enemies running loose!

Spider-Man: Please tell me you're joking, Yuri.

Yuri: This is no joke. Look, these guys are starting to spill into the city. I've got to go deal with that.

Spyro: We'll take it from here.

(And just as that call wraps up, the chase with Electro continues, only this time moving upwards)

Electro: Keep chasing! The party's almost over!

(Dodging Electro's bolts all the way, the trio finally makes it to the roof of The Raft, and there everybody meets up.)

Electro: How do you like the new suit?

Cynder: Being completely honest, the vest thing works on you. Better than the yellow and green leotard you were wearing last time we fought.

Spyro: Now where'd you get it?

Electro: It's an exclusive club. Only six members.

(And now everybody joins the party. Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, and even Mister Negative have arrived.)

Mister Negative: Remember! He said not to kill them.

Spider-Man: Probably a good idea. We don't have to do this at all if you don't want to.

Rhino: We definitely want to!

(And now the battle is on. The quintet of villains is surprisingly well coordinated, and giving our trio a real hard time. For a moment things appear to be going well, but then Scorpion stings Spider-Man in the back, Electro hits Cynder with an electric shock that temporarily paralyzes her, and Mister Negative blasts Spyro with a massive pulse of this strange energy. Add pummeling from Rhino and Vulture into the mix and soon everybody is down for the count at the edge of the building, as a sixth figure enters, stopping Spider-Man from climbing over the edge by slamming a familiar tentacle looking prosthesis into his hand. And soon enough, pulling himself over the edge of the building, is the man once known as Doctor Otto Octavius, now known as Doctor Octopus.)

Spyro and Cynder: Doctor Octavius?!

Doctor Octopus: First and final warning. (Grabs the trio in a pair of tentacles, holding them up to his face) Stay out of our way.

(And with no regard for their lives, Doctor Octopus throws the trio off of The Raft, seemingly to their doom as the now six supervillains look on at their handiwork)

Doctor Octopus: Each of you have a job to do. Your debts will be repaid upon completion. Now go!

(And with that, the six supervillains set off on their plans, with Doctor Octopus looking back briefly at where he tossed Spyro, Cynder, and Spider-Man off the building)

Doctor Octopus: I'm only sorry it came to this, you three.

(And as Doctor Octopus rejoins the rest of his villainous companions, our tale ends for today)

And that looks like a good spot to end for today. Well, that was a lot to take in. And now, the terrifying transformation is complete. Doctor Octavius is no more, only Doctor Octopus remains. And now he and the rest of his Sinister Six are off to enact their plans. But did our trio of heroes survive? Will anyone be able to stop Doctor Octopus? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
