The ninja all stayed at the hospital while waiting for Jay to wake up. It has been three days. Three agonizing days. Flintlocke and Dogshank were allowed to stay at the monastery with Wu and Misako. Flintlocke and Dogshank both felt lost now that they weren't working for Nadakhan. The rest of Nadakhan's crew vanished. No one knows where they went. Even Clancee believe it or not. The Police Commissioner has his officers actively looking for them. No one really knows if they're still a threat or not.

Everything just kind of feels up in the air at the moment. Completely out of the control of the ninja team and they all feel helpless.

Jay suffered a moderate concussion, three broken ribs, a fractured wrist, and a fractured ankle along with many other cuts and bruises. They put him in a medically induced coma and it has everyone on edge. The doctor said he could wake up at any moment now.

Nya hasn't left his side except to use the restroom. She stays when the others go down to the cafeteria to grab food. They always bring her something back. They understand why she doesn't want to leave him. They won't force her to. They don't want Jay to wake up alone either.

Cole hasn't looked directly at Jay. He's been too guilty. He knows there's no way he could've know Nadakhan was in that forest when they played truth or dare, but that he knows he shouldn't have done that. No matter what anyone says, he still feels like he is responsible for everything. He just sits on a chair and stares down at his feet.

Lloyd, Kai, and Zane have stepped out a few time to have a hushed conversation between the three of them. Nya and Cole figured the conversation was probably about them, but they didn't care.

Lloyd, Kai, and Zane just finished one of their private conversations and came back into the room. Nya knows she probably looks like she hasn't slept in days and to be honest, she hasn't gotten much sleep since this whole thing started, but she's 95% sure she saw Jay's hand twitch. She grabbed his hand with the wrist that wasn't broken and held it tightly when she heard Jay groan. That caught everyone else's attention also. Everyone was surrounding Jay's bed except Cole.

They saw Jay's eyes flutter open only to immediately shut again. "Why is it so bright in here?" he asked.

They all laughed, relieved, and Zane went to turn off the lights. They still had some light enter the room from the door to the hospital room being open. Jay sighed in relief when the lights went off.

"How are you feeling?" Nya asked concerned.

"I think I'm OK," Jay said and Nya heard a slight slur to his voice. She figured he would probably be a little loopy from the pain meds. According to the doctor, they put him on enough pain meds to hardly feel how much pain his body is actually in. She doesn't know for how long, but all she knew was she was just glad he was alright. That he was here. That he was alive. "What happened with Nadakhan?"

"We'll fill you in on everything later," Lloyd said. "Right now, just focus on getting better."

Jay looked around at the ninja standing around his bed and noticed that Cole wasn't with the others. "Where's Cole?"

The others all turned to look at said ninja who still hadn't made a move to get up and join them. Cole looked up when he felt a bunch of eyes on him. Kai signaled for Cole to join them and the Earth Ninja finally stood up and walked over to them. He continued to look down at the ground, not looking at any of them.

"You better not be thinking any of this is your fault," Jay told him.

It figures that Jay knew what Cole was thinking just by looking at him. "But it is," Cole tried.

"How would you have known Nadakhan was hiding there?"

Cole guesses Jay had a point and instead pulled his best friend into a hug. Everything was going to be OK now. Nadakhan was gone and none of them had died this time. They'll find Nadakhan's crew eventually and figure out what to do with them.

3 months later

Everything was a lot calmer since they defeated Nadakhan's. Jay had healed and Ninjago as a whole was more peaceful. No big threats had popped up since.

Clancee showed up at the monastery after a few days wanting to talk to Flintlocke and Dogshank. It turns out he also wanted a chance to be better. The Police Commissioner offered the three of them to work as a part of a special unit for the police department. It was a surprising move, but the Commissioner explained that they don't seem like a threat and that way, an eye can be kept on them at all times.

They haven't found the other pirates yet. The ninja know the pirates can't hide forever, but they have been very difficult to find thus far.

Either way, everything seemed calm and the ninja decided to take another camping trip. This time, they invited Skylor, PIXAL, and Seliel. They thought having the extra people might give them better luck on having a good time. Maybe a villain will see there's nine of them this time and decide not to target them. However, they did have one major rule this time: no one walks off alone.

After they finished setting the tents up, it was getting dark, so they decided to start a campfire and all nine campers sat around.

"What do you guys want to do?" Lloyd asked.

"We could play truth or dare," Skylor suggested.

"NO!" Jay, Nya, Lloyd, Cole, Kai, and Zane all screamed in unison.

"Let's do something else," Kai said calmer.

"Anything else," Cole added.

They decided to tell scary stories instead and had a great time this time around.
