Gwyndolin's crush
chapter 6
"V-Very well, I shall show thee mercy THIS ONCE!" Gwyndolin exclaimed, his feelings for Arias being the only thing protecting him from his Rage.
"Thank you, milord, thank you!" Arias remained knelt on the floor, hands clasped together in thankful prayer.
"Get on with it." Gwyndolin sighed in frustration.
"R-Right of course. I came to tell you that your brother wanted you, he said it was urgent."
"Is that all?" Gwyndolin asked in slight disbelief. He just risked his life for that?
"Oh, and Seath wants to see you too, also said it was urgent." Ah that makes sense, Seath always did instill the fear of Gwyn within any undead he came into contact with, mostly because almost all of them would end up as a twisted experiment that begged for the death it could not have.
"Very well, tell them I shalt be there in twenty minutes."
"But they said-"
"And I say I shalt be half an hour, I do have to care for mineself as well." Gwyndolin interrupted, still very much aware of all the gravy covering his body. Not only did it smell bad, but it felt horrible.
"Of course, my lord, my apologies I'll tell them right away." The fear in his voice was palpable.
"I'll tell Seath mineself so thou needn't worry about him." Yet again Gwyndolin showed mercy on his favorite knight.
"Oh, thank you lord." Arias almost knelt back down in prayer before Gwyndolin spoke again,
"Do not forget that now thou'rt in mine debt. Later we shalt speak of repayment. Now get going else I shalt arrive to Faraam before thee." Arias nodded and quickly left, hopefully he doesn't barge in on Faraam naked, who knows if he'd share the same mercy as Gwyndolin.
Despite today mostly being awful there was a silver lining, Arias is now in his debt, which provides opportunity, to repay that debt, he could have him join his covenant, with this Arias would now be his servant, which might sound bad but all Gwyndolin intends to do is have Arias serve as a bodyguard of sorts, having him around more would be great, it would provide many opportunities to get to know him even better, and for him to get to know Gwyndolin better, and maybe, just maybe, he could make Arias his yet. This was an opportunity at least, though he had to be careful not to be too hopeful, he knew how that went.
Gwyndolin would hold onto a small bit of hope though, he would try to persuade himself that it was logical but in truth he simply couldn't help it.
Once again Gwyndolin disrobed, making sure to bar his door with a magical spell this time, physical locks are so flimsy as recently proven. Finally, a chance to bathe and relax. He wondered what Faraam needed from him, probably lost his dragon or something. And Seath was probably going to ask him something he could barely even comprehend as usual.
Whatever, now is time to relax.
Gwyndolin slithered down the halls of Anor Londo to his brother's bedroom, wearing a clean black dress adorned with gold lining and adornments, and of course he wore his crown, shaped in the brilliance of the sun. He knocked on his brother's door, no answer. He knocked a few more times but still no answer.
"Faraam! I know thou called for me now open up." He yelled at the door. Still nothing. This was a terrible prank. Unless, oh dear he never asked Arias where his brother was. Bugger.
"Gwyndolin? Art thou searching for Faraam?" Gwynevere's voice boomed down the halls, making Gwyndolin jump a little. He yelled a yes back to her, though he doubted she'd hear it. There was a short silence before she spoke again.
"Well he's gone to Oolacile, something about a princess going missing." He voice boomed once again. Gwyndolin yelled her a thank you and gave a thumbs up before teleporting awway.
Arias finally made it back to Oolacile, he almost collapsed before Faraam from exhaustion.
"Took your time! Where's Gwyndolin!?" Faraam yelled, his voice dripping with worry.
"He said he'd... he'd be.. in twenty m... minutes" Arias gasped and wheezed between breathes, gods it felt as though his throat was on fire. Faraam was about to scream at him by the looks of it but someone stopped him.
"I told thee if thou was not faster I would arrive before thee." Gwyndolin chuckled as he slithered over. Faraam ran over to him, fear evident on his face.
"Gwyndolin you must help! Raiden fell into the Abyss!" Faraam pointed to gigantic chasm down below. Very inconvenient place to build a town Gwyndolin always thought.
"W-Why not Artorias? I am no abyss walker!" Gwyndolin asked, he didn't want any of that nasty humanity around him.
"He's already down there fighting something, I don't want it to hurt my dragon so please get him out of there! You're good with teleportation magic right, I know where he is! Just do whatever it is you do and get him out of there!" It was so like brother to simplify the complex manipulation of light that is the art of teleportation to 'doing what you do'
But he was his brother so he'd help of course.
A/N Guess who forgot to bloody post this. Yup lol I wrote this chapter 2 months ago, said to myself "Cool now I'll post it tomorrow." Now here we are in February of the next bloody year. Oh well, sorry for the wait, I don't know when the next chapter will be, this has always just been an extra little side project I can work on whenever I feel like it so don't expect regular installments sorry.
