The only member of the Maelstrom responsible is dead. Consider this issue with the Maelstrom dropped." The Boss said. Ordering me, as if I gave a shit at his order.

I could practically feel my neck itch. My hackles rise. Who was this fat bald fuck to tell me that something was dropped?

"Kusanagi." Fujimura cut in suddenly and I realized that once again Fujimura was the guy they put in charge of all the TC Cyberpsychos. The guy that figures people out and learns how to get them to do what he needs, because he only took an instant to realize that his boss had said something stupid. "Go check on your brother. You will not find the rest of this meeting interesting."

I was prepared for this. Ever since Jun remained with the Tygers Claws, i knew that this would happen. An attempt to treat me as part of the "Claws". Time to put all that preparation in place.

Reaching into the handy pouches of my totally awesome Tacticool Gear, i pulled out a Lexington covered in Tyger Claw Colors and a Badge with the Tiger Claw mascot on it before shoving them into Fujimura's stupid face.

"Here's my badge and gun. Just to save you the trouble of asking for it after what i'm about to do."

Before Fujimura could react, i turned towards Mr RUDE and did my best to convey my displeasure at his impoliteness in the most diplomatic fashion i could.

" That's ok. I can make this meeting interesting. "

Leaping across the table and grabbing that pancake-sized face gaping at me, i start slamming it down on the table.

"Manners."

"Fine, respect me or one day you find yourself taking a swim in the the Night City Bay. I even find a barrel to stuff you in. For Cultural Reasons"

As his posse finally started reacting, it was just a brief thought away before i had them all convulsing on the floor doing their best attempts to bring breakdancing back as my Quickhack forced their chrome to short circuit.

"Now that we have some peace and quiet, let's start exploring bounda-"

The silence that followed after Azegami's threat was deafening.

"That threat? That just means that anything holding me back has been REVOKED. "

Gripping the Tako-like head in my palm, i start to slowly..oh so slowly tighten my grip. I could feel it the sensation of bone slowly cracking and giving way, brain being pulped as blood start oozin-

"Kusanagi? Kusanagi! I said you can go! Here why don't you get some Sushi with your brother. It's on me."

Oooooh! Fujimura just gave me the VIP card to that fancy Sushi place! NICE! Hmmm, on one hand, this was totally a chance to tell Fujimura that i'm a Loose Cannon that doesn't play by his stupid Tyger Claw rules.

But on the other hand... SUSHI! And the chance that if i can shove enough down Jun's throat, it'll make him forget the taste of Burrito XXLs!

Decisions, decisions...

Guess, i keep the Badge and Gun.. For now.

As the walking timebomb before him bounce away with his card, Fujimura gradually let out a breath as the rattle of weapons bouncing faded away.

"Sir. With all due respect, do you realize how close you were to being torn apart by Kusanagi? And i mean the Girl."

"What? That's nonsense! She's what? Just some hanger-on to one of the grunts. I'm Wakagashira, she and her family be screwed if they touched me."

" Azegami Sama. That girl has no other family but her brother. The Oni, one of the best Kamikaze under me. Someone willing to raid a Maelstorm den by himself to get her out. If we touch her, he'll do the same to us. Not to mention what the girl can do.

Can we take them? Yes. But are we willing to pay the price needed to do so? Especially when we're still recovering from the War with our friends over here?"

Also like wow, i mean he must really have confidence in his position that he thinks the fully geared for war Merc sitting before him can be treated as invisible.

You would think that for someone who is the boss of the guy leading the Cyberpsycho squad, maybe just maybe it be wise to not say stuff that can set them off.
