A/N – The spar's here folks. If this doesn't work Kakashi will just lock them both in a closet somewhere and throw away the key.
The sun had not yet set when Hinata and Kakashi left the office, but it was on its way down. Hinata looked up and idly calculated that they would have close to an hour for the spar before they would have to stop for the day.
Kakashi had seemed very concerned about getting out of shape, which was understandable. He was the Hokage, arguably the most powerful shinobi in the village. But shinobi also weren't in the habit of extended sitting. Prone to procrastination though he was, he was used to moving around when he wanted to.
"Which training ground will we use, Kakashi-sama?" She asked, waving at Karui and Chōji as they passed by. They waved back, but didn't stop for small talk.
"44, Hinata-chan."
Hinata did a double-take, her hand slowly coming down. "The Forest of Death?"
Kakashi looked at her sideways and smiled. "It may seem like overkill, Hinata-chan, but it's been a while since I've tested my skills. I intend to go all out."
"Oh... I see..." She did not, but she decided not to ask for any clarification for that cryptic declaration. He didn't care for explanations on the best of days.
There was a comfortable silence after that, both lost in their respective thoughts, until they reached the Forest of Death. They entered and went in some ways to an area that was open enough for a spar, to avoid both of them knocking into trees.
Kakashi removed his robes and hat, now in his normal uniform with the vest and armband that proclaimed him the Godaime Hokage. Hinata tied her hair up into a bun with a hairstick to keep it out of the way. Kakashi would already be a formidable opponent, it wouldn't do to make it easier for him.
Both began stretches to warm up. When they were sufficiently limbered up, Kakashi laid down the rules. "Taijutsu and Dōjutsu only. No Ninjutsu or Kenjutsu allowed. Clear?"
Hinata frowned and deposited her short sword near Kakashi's robes and hat. "I thought you were going to go all out?"
"Yes," Kakashi said, twirling a kunai on his finger. "Yes I am. Ready?"
"Ready."
Hinata took up her modified Jūken stance, and waited. Kakashi stood there casually, not seeming in any hurry to charge.
'Is that how we are doing this?'
Hinata expanded her senses. He is up to something, she just knows it. There must be – there!
She jumped back and to the side as a barrage of kunai came at her from behind Kakashi, a little off to the right. He dissipated in smoke.
'Kage Bunshin'
Hinata activated her Byakugan, heartbeat quickening a little. There was nothing where the kunai came from. The stillness around her made it seem like she was alone.
She kept scanning. There, to the left, 50 degrees. He was hiding in a tree and his chakra was suppressed to the point it looked like it might be a bug or something else very small. Easily overlooked. But was it really him, or another Kage Bunshin? He used them frequently enough (not to Naruto's extent, but no one could do that).
Hinata did a quick examination. If it was a clone, it was a very good clone.
'If I was fighting myself, where would I be?'
The blind spot was an obvious choice. With his Sharingan he would be able to tell when she is going to move, and move with her. How to tackle this? She could wait till he revealed himself, but he had too much patience for that. She would have to make the first move.
She made a decision.
_
Kakashi watched as Hinata ran deeper into the forest, ignoring the clone he had created as a distraction. He was certain she knew he would be in her blind spot, and she possibly thought that running through a forest, with no straight paths through it, would make it difficult for him to stay there.
It was not a bad idea. His clone followed behind her.
Given Hinata's Byakugan range, simply letting her go ahead to get out of her range and then following by scent would not be an option.
Kakashi moved east. Another distraction was in order.
_
Hinata scanned as she took to the trees and saw Kakashi following after her. He had to have a plan, that was for sure. Maybe he was going to chase her to tire her out. He certainly has quite a bit of stamina that she simply doesn't.
If she was fast enough, she could jump him, land a few strikes to close his tenketsu. That would give her a few extra moments. But she doubted he would let himself be caught off-guard. Kiba said that Kakashi's sense of smell was better than some Inuzuka, so running wouldn't do much. Also, this was supposed to be a spar. She would have to face him at some point.
Hinata was considering and discarding plans, when 600 metres from her position, Kakashi suddenly poofed into smoke. Another Kage Bunshin. Her eyes widened in alarm. He was pinpointing her location.
The hair on the back of her neck pricked up in warning, and she jumped down, narrowly missing a kick to the head. As she landed, she turned and leaped forward, and managed to close the tenketsu in his right shoulder. As she was moving down his arm, he caught her wrist and went to twist it. Hinata kicked him in the chest, and as he let go, she used her momentum to propel herself farther away.
_
Kakashi winced and rotated his shoulder as he stumbled back a couple steps. Painful, but manageable. He kept his eye on Hinata as she got back into position.
Kakashi uncovered his Sharingan and thought, 'I can have fun with this'.
"I can see your future, Hinata-chan."
_
The words were said with amusement, bordering on something she didn't have time to determine as he attacked her, throwing a punch. Hinata dodged and returned a kick, which was deflected, but closed a couple more tenketsu, this time in his left arm.
"And what does my future look like, Kakashi-sama?" Hinata asked, panting as they exchanged more blows. Some were dodged, others were taken in interest of getting a hit on the other. Hinata was sure she was going to have a good number of bruises after this, but it was enjoyable regardless, given how long it had been since her last spar.
Hinata went to kick him again, when she was inexplicably caught by how striking he looked, with his Sharingan blazing.
"You'll see soon enough." In that moment of inattention, he used the kawarimi to appear behind her. Thankfully, she snapped out of her daze fast enough for her to raise her hands and get them between her neck and the ninja wire he was using as a garrote.
'Damnit!'
_
'How will you get out of this one, Hinata?'
Kakashi pulled the garrote tighter, cutting into her hands, making her move closer to him to avoid the strain it would put on her neck. He could feel his own pulse thundering through his ears from where his body was pushing chakra through his system, trying to reopen his tenketsu.
His senses sharpened as he tried to focus on the girl in his arms instead.
He could smell the scent of her blood, mixing with the aroma of jasmine that emanated from her hair. He could hear her heart thudding loudly as she tried to slow her breathing, and he could feel the tiny tremors that rocked her body as she tried to keep distance between the wire and her neck.
It was intoxicating, but Kakashi wanted something else from her at the moment.
_
Hinata was distracted, and was trying to find a way to free a hand. One strike and she would have the opportunity to make him let go. She was going to step on his foot to try to divert his attention when she was suddenly pulled back sharply, and in her surprise, she accidentally activated her Seishin-me.
Heat. It lit up her nerves, lust fogging up her mind. Intense focus, born of possessiveness. She'll look so pretty under me.
Hinata blushed. She felt the air move around her, and had the distant thought that she was on the ground. The leaves rustled under her. There was a weight on her back, and her hands were on the ground. Her breath came faster.
If only he would get inside her blind spot for a moment, like he had before, she could get a hold of herself and get back up. But Kakashi refused to do that and stayed where he was on her back, broadcasting what he was feeling at her, so loudly.
"Do you yield?"
Amusement. Pleasure. I win either way.
Hinata tried to focus on her hands and release them. The restraints tightened. Her head was moved up and she saw her hands, held together in front of her by Kakashi's hand.
'The other one... where...'
Under her jaw, over her neck, holding it up.
She felt dizzy. A moan left her throat, deepening the blush on her face. She didn't mean to do that. She felt arousal coursing through her, making her wet. Her panting sounded like she had run a marathon.
'Or done something else'
She tried to buck him off of her, to no avail. She felt his thighs tighten outside her hips, and laughed deep in her chest. Wait, did she? No, it was Kakashi who laughed.
The hand on her neck tightened(not that she needed it to lose her breath). She felt Kakashi's face near her ear. He whispered, huskily.
"Do you yield, Koneko-chan?"
"I-I-" Hinata stuttered. She swallowed another moan, and tried again. "I-I yield, S-Sensei."
Possessiveness, hot and feral. Deep satisfaction.
"Good girl."
It was the last thing Hinata heard before she lost consciousness.
A/N – Hinata's Jūken is a lot more flexible than traditional Jūken. She's modified it to allow for incorporation of Ninjutsu as well. Along with that she has her sword, which she can use with lightning chakra to destroy tenketsu instead of just closing them.
Seishin-me is literally bad Google translation of 'spirit eyes', which is what Hinata calls her evolved Byakugan.
How was it? Good? Bad? Mid? Let me know!
