"Twilight…"
"Hmm?" Twilight thought she had heard Rainbow Dash's voice, "Huh. Must have been my imagination."
"Twilight!"
Twilight turned around this time to see that Lucy, or perhaps Nyu (it was hard to tell) was asleep and was hugging the pegasus.
"I need some help…"
"Why can't you just wake her up?"
"Well, she's just so peaceful looking, and I didn't want to disturb her- What do you think?- If we wake her up, she might go all 'murder crazy' again."
"Rainbow, she hasn't had an incident like that in two weeks. And that was mostly because she had finally calmed down about what Red does for a living."
"Still, I'm not a hundred percent sure that Mewtwo's mental therapy has worked." Rainbow reasoned, "And any kind of overly loud noise might… set her off."
"Oh right. I was reading about triggers and how people with PTSD might have relapses or panic attacks." Twilight realized, "So do you want me to help you wake her up without disturbing her?"
"She got back from therapy. I was there for comfort. She was talking about how she had a hard time sleeping, so they offered her some sleeping pills or something, and she was out like a light. But she had wrapped her arms around me."
"I see. I'll try to-" Twilight stopped her telekinesis as she saw the Diclonius struggle and hug a bit tighter.
"She doesn't seem to want to let go." Twilight said, "And I'm not sure if teleporting her might wake her up abruptly or not."
"Does this mean we're going to have to wait for her to wake up naturally?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Probably. Why were you there specifically?- Doesn't Lucy have a dog?"
"That Jojo guy took him to the vet for a checkup that 'coinicidentally' fell on the same day as her therapy session.
"Okay, now where is the tapeworm again?" Jotaro asked as he was using Star Platinum to remove harmful parasites from the dog.
"According to the X-Rays, it is located around here in this intestine." The doctor said, pointing it out to the Stand User.
"Alright. Okay, Chihiro, this will only hurt a bit, but it'll be good in the long run." Jotaro said, "Now, just have to be careful…"
"This device you gave me is strange." The doctor said.
"It lets you detect the general vicinity of Stands. It shouldn't be- hmm?"
"What's wrong?"
"This tapeworm… it bit me…"
"And?"
"It hurt."
"So?"
"You never read the rules?- Only Stands or other Stand Users can hurt Stands. This means that this Tapeworm is either the work of an enemy Stand…"
"Saw that line coming…" The doctor grumbled.
"Or it is a Stand User-"
*POW!*
Jotaro was knocked back a few feet before regaining composure.
"Good grief. What an ugly Stand. Figures that it would be appropriate for a tapeworm…"
Jotaro eyed the Stand. It looked discolored, having an orange upper body, yellow legs, and a purple head. On its knees were the letter T, but the most interesting part was the mouth.
It was full of tiny hands. And considering that it was one of those mouth hands that had punched Jotaro, they were obviously powerful.
"Great, what can this one do?"
The doctor had taken cover, "I don't know! Just kill it!"
Jotaro prepared a combat stance, as had Star Platinum.
The enemy Stand simply grabbed a nearby tray of small knives, and proceeded to dump them into its mouth. The small hands then started to fling them with great speed.
Star Platinum had managed to block all of them.
"Give me a break. Next thing you'll tell me is that this Stand can also refuel itself and the user by just eating things. It'd be just like a tapeworm to pull that."
"And lo- and behold, that Stand is doing just that." The doctor snarked.
The tongue depressors ended up being devoured by the Stand, and it flexed its body. Several of the arms within the mouth then shot out and started to grow. Then they started to attack.
Star Platinum had to counter-attack fast in order to beat back the onslaught of multiple hands.
「Oraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraora!」
"Even with Star Platinum's speed, I still need to be careful." Jotaro mused, "There's got to be a weakness to- there it is!"
Star Platinum parried the last fist and then grabbed a fistfull of them. Then he started to drag the Stand upwards as he walked closer.
There was a menacing aura surrounding Jotaro as he spoke.
"I finally figured out what makes you tick. Those mouth hands of yours are your best weapon, but they're also your biggest weakness. Can't really attack or do anything else while they're firing off, now can they?"
He moved his two forefingers across his hat before finishing it off with a signature Jojo pose.
"Well, am I anywhere close?"
The Stand made a gesture as if it were asking for mercy.
"Humph. So you want mercy?"
The Stand nodded as best it could with Star Platinum holding its mouth-hands in a mean grip.
"Sorry, I don't negotiate with parasites. Now, I was in no mood to have to deal with a Stand user, but you tried to use a young woman's dog as a shield. And that, is not so easily forgiven!"
Star Platinum tore the mouth-hands out of the Stand before giving it a swift uppercut.
Then, moving so fast as if it seemed that Jotaro's Stand had teleported, Star Platinum had appeared right above the Stand and gave it a powerful kick.
And in order to add insult to injury, Star Platinum had grabbed the Stand by the leg, and started to tear it apart from the thighs.
Once it had been completely torn apart, the remains of the Stand had faded.
"So, uh… Who's going to pay for the damages to my office?" The doctor asked.
Jotaro looked around and saw that the resulting shockwaves from his beatdown of the tapeworm's Stand had caused a fair amount of damage to the room. Luckily, Chihiro had been unharmed by the battle. And by the looks of it, he was better than ever.
"I'll give your bill to Stark." Jotaro said as he walked out.
"W-Wait a moment! I never gave you the bill for this appointment! Hey! Get back here!"
It was too late. Jotaro was already gone.
"This would never had happened if he were more like Jonathan…"
"And, she's asleep and calm." Twilight nuzzled Lucy's hair as she cuddled up with her dog.
"Y'know, you see her like this, and you almost forget that she murdered people on the regular." Jotaro smiled.
"To be fair, they kinda deserved it…" Rainbow Dash muttered.
"Rainbow!"
"What?- All I'm saying is that hurting dogs for fun is the absolute lowest a person- or pony, can go. They'd need a blast from the Elements of Harmony, that's for sure…"
"Well, I can't argue with that."
"Like you're one to talk."
"How so?" Jotaro glared.
"Iggy. Remember him?- He's the Boston Terrier you threw at a blind person because he had a water-based attack that could pull a person's head into a canteen."
"Man, your adventures sure are weird."
"I'd be more inclined to use the word 'bizarre.'" Jotaro smirked as he left the room.
There was a moment of silence before Twilight put her hoof to her forehead, "How long have you been waiting to use that?"
"The moment I got out of orientation."
X: For those of you who want to know a general design for the tapeworm Stand, check out the DB Aftermath Tumblr or the Author's deviantart page. It should be up by the time this chapter goes up.
Wade: What was the Stand's name, anyways?
X: Smash Mouth.
Alexis: Chirp…
X: It'd be better than the dub name change it would inevitably get.- Punch Mouth.
Pinkie: Wait, are you upset about the name change for Bruno's stand from Part 5?
X: Zippy Fingers. Sticky Hands.- Two names that could have gotten past copyright and still had gotten the reference across.
Wade: At least it's not as bad as Flaccid Pancake or Lil Bommer.
All: *Shudder*
