I've considered a sort of "Bring a merc." Or "Hire a merc for a gig." Idea. The first one doesn't really work. Arasaka tower/Academy isn't going to let mercs just walk in. It's a fun idea, but silly in context. But I could see a final for the class being "Complete this task Arasaka needs done. Here are the finances. The one who spends the least to complete the gig or compeltes to following guidlines gets the best grade competition." Could work. Hiromi just hires Motoko and fucking rolls of course. Motoko shrugs and accepts payment of a nice dinner. (Wow those candles are nice. And is that real food? Wow Hiromi that dress sure is cute on you!)
Something like that I think works. Not a bring merc to class, but a complete this task, maybe Hiromi brings Motoko in after as part of her presentation one of the few mercs actually willing to do so, or something.
