"Thanos… Darkseid… You two are to awaken…"

The voice permeated the void in which the two tyrants were residing in. Having been placated by the combined power of the Black Mercy and Doom's enhancements, the two were rather content in their little fantasy world.

"You two must awaken…" The voice repeated.

"Master… I do not believe that they can hear you." A new voice said.

"I can see that, you fool! We must awaken them, now!"

"I am as to curious as to what they are fantasizing about in their worlds…"

Meanwhile, in Darkseid's fantasy world…

"Ah, now this is the life. All serve Darkseid, and Darkseid rules all." He relaxed, "Isn't that right, Wonder Woman?"

"Yes lord Darkseid… You deserve all of this." The Amazon lifelessly said.

In Darkseid's fantasy world, she was wearing colors more appropriate to the Apokolips King's tastes. Sipping from the skull of Superman once more, he sighed.

"Is there something wrong my lord?" 'Wonder Woman' asked as she draped her arms around him, "You have everything you want. This entire world is now under your subjugation, and there are statues of you everywhere. Why, the store has a rather nice selection of soup with a very flattering picture of you on it…"

"All images of Darkseid are perfect. However, there is a question that bothers even I."

"And what is that?"

"What good is all this power, if there is nobody to try to oppose me? There are no means of using my power over anyone. Even my battles with the Kryptonian have gotten… stale…"

"He is a fool for challenging you my lord- OH!"

"And you…" He grasped her arms, "You only love me thanks to the Anti-Life Equation. As do all of your former comrades who maintain this palace. What good is a tyrant if he is neither feared or loved?"

"We do love you, Lord Darkseid-"

"SILENCE!" He bellowed, "No… This power… It is unfulfilling. On Apokolips, there were people who willingly served me. There was no need to enslave them. Perhaps… Perhaps what I am lacking is a challenger…"

"Perhaps… You wish to be freed of this fantasy world and take over the real world."

"What the- Who dares!"

"I do…" an image of darkness with menacing red eyes appeared in front of the tyrant, as his world started to crumble apart…"

"What the…" Thanos awoke from his fantasy, "I was in the middle of taking off my clothes for Mistress Death. What happened?"

"The Black Mercy." Darkseid sneered at the plant that had withered on the 'floor' in front of him, "What is the meaning of this?"

"The meaning?- Why, to offer you two freedom of course!"

"These types of offerings usually come at a price. What is yours?"

"Simple: Render those that would stand against me a non-problem." The voice beckoned.

"How is that possible? The Infinity Gauntlet does not work here, and without the Source Wall, neither does the Anti-Life Equation."

"Ah, of course. But you forget about your other powers. And as for the Gauntlet…" A power enveloped the weapon, and started to enhance it.

"What did you do?"

"Why… I made it so that it can work. Of course, it will only affect those from the universe that the Gauntlet's wielder originates from. In addition, I cannot allow the heroes to simply trick you two into working against each other, so now you two must Amalgamate…"

"You dare to use your inferior power on Darkseid?- I will have you- URGH!" Darkseid's arms were forced to his sides by a mysterious power, and his mouth was forced shut.

"I care not for your ego. Now, you two shall Amalgamate, and take care of the all those that stand in my way!"

"AUUGHHH!"

"And then I said 'Oatmeal?- Are you crazy?'"

"Huh. That's actually an interesting story." Aquaman said, "Though I do wonder what was up with the bouquet. Can you care to explain that?"

Pinkie giggled, "Of course! See, the thing about that is-"

*BWRR! BWRR! BWRR! BWRR! BWRR!*

"The alarm?"

"Not just that!" Flash said as he entered the room, "A Quintuple-Omega-Level Alarm. We gotta move!"

"Put on your game faces everyone!" Captain America called out, "We have ourselves a major situation on our hands!"

"Lex and the others are also responding to the threat!" Jotaro added, "Whatever's coming is bad enough that we have to team up with them to make sure that the world doesn't end!"

"What could be that dangerous?"

*BOOM!*

"TREMBLE AT THE MIGHT OF THANOSEID!" The being commanded, as he started to destroy everything in his sight.

"I THOUGHT YOU SAID HE WAS WEAKER LIKE THIS!" Hawkeye shouted as he fired a couple arrows at the being.

"The theory was that whatever device that was used to merge them in the other timeline…" Mewtwo paused as he fired a couple Psycho Cuts towards the foe, "That the device had weakened them! It's not inherently the Fusion!"

"We need backup." Quicksilver said as he ran for cover, "Sonic and I have civilians clear. We go all out."

"It's on it's way." Mewtwo replied.

"THANOSEID!" Ganondorf's voice bellowed, "You believe that you are the one destined to rule this world?- Well, think again!"

Charging towards the Fusion, Ganondorf charged his Warlock Punch and delivered a blow right to the face of his opponent.

He smirked, only to have it turn into a look of pure fear as Thanoseid clearly did not flinch, nor did he look all too impressed.

It was the Fusion's turn to smirk, "Care to try again? Or is it our turn?"

*SMACK!*

*CRASH!*

"AUGH!" Ganondorf was sent careening into a building, and was lodged within it from the impact.

"That can't be good…"

"THANOS! DARKSEID!" Lex Luthor touched down and readied his weapons on the target.

"Make your move, you ugly asshat." Iron Man touched down as well, and aimed all his weapons towards Thanoseid.

"Excellent. You are all here." Thanoseid's arm glowed and started to reveal a gauntlet filled with gems and surrounded with a strange runes surrounding the weapon.

"Wait! What the hell is tha-"

*SNAP!*

X: I uh… I think I lost control of the narrative.
