"So, you could not be satisfied with just your friends dying. You had to join them. Very well- HEY!"
"I got the Gauntlet!" Sonic called out, "It's keep away time!" He tossed it to Tatsumaki, who caught it with her telekinesis.
"GET BACK HERE!" Thanoseid chased after Tatsumaki, who quickly evaded the attacks, and lifted many rocks, debris, and cars to fling at Thanoseid.
"Shadow! Incoming!" She tossed it to the Black and Red Hedgehog, who caught it effortlessly.
"Got it! Let's see you catch me!"
"So do we actually have a plan?" Ganondorf asked.
"Well, if our intel is right, we either keep it away from him until the Gauntlet's protections wear off and he splits apart, or…" Mewtwo trailed off.
"We need to get someone strong enough to use the Gauntlet and bring everyone back." Pinkie finished.
"Well, you know how the song goes, 'Assembled we are strong.'" Ken said, "Forever fight as one!"
"Ken! You ready?" Terry called out as he powered up for his Power Geyser move.
"YOU BET! Let's go!"
"ULTIMATE BURN!" Terry cut Thanoseid off from his path by punching the ground with his Power Geyser, launching him into the air.
"GRAH!"
"SHORYUREPPA!" Ken caught Thanoseid on his descent, further launching him into the air, where Terry was waiting.
"Crack Shoot!" Terry slammed Thanoseid into the ground, bouncing him up a bit yet again.
"Tatsumaki Senpukyaku!" Ken once again held Thanoseid in the air with his attack. Once he was finished, he jumped off of Thanoseid, forcing him to the ground where Terry was waiting.
"BURNING KNUCKLE!"
*POW!*
Thanoseid was once again launched away from his target.
"YOU CANNOT BEAT ME! I AM THANOSEID! I WILL DESTROY ALL OF YOU!"
"Take THIS!"
*SLAM!*
King Dedede hit Thanoseid with his Hammer so hard that Thanoseid was practically rocketed towards a building.
"You think that there's going to be anyone who can destroy this world while we're around?- I'm not even going to need a monstah to clobbah you!"
"And trust us when we say that that's something where he won't need a money-back guarantee!" Michelangelo quipped.
Simply put, Thanoseid was pissed. A bunch of misorganized heroes and villains who likely hated each other's guts had somehow come together to take him down.
It wasn't cliché. It wasn't inconceivable. It wasn't inane.
It was infuriating.
All this effort. All the anger sowed between the two sides.
All of it put aside for this? To get their supposed 'friends' back?
Thanoseid couldn't think of anything more maddening than this.
And to top it all off, they were mocking him.
He noticed that Shadow was smirking at him. As if challenging him to try and grab the Gauntlet.
That was his first mistake.
"GRAH!" Thanoseid charged forward with all his speed and might to reach for the Gauntlet.
"Whoops!" Shadow sarcastically said as he leaned back and kicked the Gauntlet upwards where Android 18 went in and snatched it out of the air.
"Try catching me!"
"Gladly." Thanoseid tried powering up his Titan Beams. They were still strong. Not strong enough to send a person to the Omega Sanction, but strong enough to cause some damage.
"GRAH!" He shot them forward, and much like the Omega Beams they took after, these tracked 18, following her moves.
"Hurk!" The beams shot her out of the sky, but she managed to toss the Gauntlet to another fighter. This time, Sub-Zero.
He quickly used an Ice Klone to distract Thanoseid and slow him down. Constantly moving until he spotted Lucario's movements in the hightops of the city.
"Grah!" Thanoseid tried to grab at Sub-Zero, but not only was the Gauntlet no longer in the Lin Kuei's hands, but he had taken a punch to the face.
"Let's see how well you fare against us." Jotaro said as behind him stood Kenshiro, Tifa, Goliath, and Donkey Kong.
Thanoseid had no time for this. He readied himself to jump towards Lucario, but was stopped by a powerful punch that felt like it could shift a small moon.
"Banana Slamma." Donkey Kong grunted.
"[ATA! ATATATATATATATATATATATATATATA OWATA!]" Kenshiro's strikes came in hard and fast, sending Thanoseid flying.
"GRAUGH!" His organs ruptured. While his healing abilities would make it hard for those attacks to truly mean anything, it still hurt. A lot.
"GRYAGH!" Goliath jumped on Thanoseid, and started grappling with the fusion.
"You… It is daylight… How?"
"You can thank Ms. Sparkle's magic for that. Now, try this!" Goliath slashed at Thanoseid, leaving a nasty scar on his face that left him partially blind in his left eye.
"Now take this! FINAL HEAVEN!" Tifa launched forward with her attack just as Goliath jumped back to allow the brawler to strike.
*BOOM!*
The explosion leveled the building, and made it fall on top of Thanoseid.
"Good thing you hit Yang instead of me. She would have leveled more than just the building." She glared.
"I don't have time for this…" Thanoseid grunted.
*POW!*
In a single punch, he created a shockwave that knocked back the combatants, and set his sights on the Gauntlet. Lucario must have passed it on to someone else, because now the Gauntlet was in the hands of Tails, who was now flying towards another ally.
Thanoseid jumped towards the Twin-Tailed fox and forced him to the ground.
"You all thought that I could be stopped. But I am a force of nature. I am all powerful. I am inevitable."
Thanoseid looked at the ground where the Gauntlet was and-
"What? Where is it?"
"Poyo."
Eyes shot to Kirby who was now holding the Gauntlet, and-
*SNAP!*
Dude: Well, I'd say that this is about to wrap up nicely.
Pinkie: Yep. I'd say that this whole deal worked out pretty nicely.
Dude: Yeah, it was a bit of a wild ride. But still, I'd say that this was kinda interesting to see.
Pinkie: Plus…
