Net City: A place where people from all walks of life are welcome. A bustling metropolis of-
"What the hell happened to this place?"
Surrounding Beerus, the God of Destruction, was the ruins of a city. Many buildings were torn down, the streets were littered with garbage, and there was no sign of anyone. Touching down, Beerus started to sift through the rubble.
"Quiet! Do you want them to hear you?" A man chastised from the sewers.
"'Them'? Do you not know who I am?"
"You're the guy who's going to get us all killed if you don't keep it dow- INCOMING!" The man pointed to the sky where several beings of a strange energy and shape started approaching.
"Huh. Well I suppose I should at least try to help out." Beerus yawned as he launched himself at the attackers.
"Kiah! Grah! HAKAI!" Beerus punched, kicked, and blasted at the creatures, leaving them in a cloud of smoke. "Tch, didn't even have to use 1%. Normal humans are so boring- GRAH!" He was cut off by a blast of energy.
"Impossible." Staring at Beerus were the creatures. Who had taken on a similar shape to that of a medieval soldier, and had a lance at the ready.
"Grr… You're making me work!" He blasted several Hakai blasts at them, each one was near-effortlessly blocked by the soldiers, who now suddenly had shields as well as their lances at the ready.
"Well… That could have gone better." Beerus muttered before being smacked away by one of the soldiers.
"Typical. Never send a cat to do a woman's job." Sailor Galaxia showed up, and with a flick of her wrist, blasted them all with her power.
"Oh great. Now there's two of them." The man from before muttered.
"I can't believe that we have to do this, but we may need to team up to defeat these opponents." The Fallen Senshi suggested.
"Tch, then perhaps afterwards, we can discover what is going on here." Beerus added, "You there! What are the weaknesses of these things?"
"If we knew, we wouldn't be hiding!" The man shot back as he was busy fighting off some significantly weaker monsters on the ground with his gun.
"JUST BLAST THEM!" Galaxia screamed.
Several arduous hours later…
"Care to tell us what happened? And where are the rest of the heroes and villains?"
"That's a question I would like to know as well." Galaxia glared at the man.
"Wow. Not even trying for introductions. Whatever. We have no goddamned idea what happened, alright? One day, everything's fine. Guys like Spider-Man and Flash are helping around town after Starscream went on a rampage, then the next day everyone disappeared. Good guys, bad guys, the ones in between, and the ones outside the spectrum. The only things left are some scattered drones, and some minions like me."
"Like you?"
"A stormtrooper. One of Vader's. Kinda a weird transfer, going to the good guys, but I guess I can't complain considering I was locked up in a cell before the guy, his kid, and his old friend barged in for a rescue mission."
"Sill though, the fact that the entire place is in ruins…"
"People don't just disappear. At least, not without leaving a trace." Galaxia pointed out.
"Well, unless you're me." Beerus bragged.
"I'm sure that ICHPAU thought so too."
"What now?"
"ICHPAU. Intradimensional Character-Hunting Polymorphic Attack Unit. It's pronounced 'Ick-Pow' by the way."
"Why were they after you?"
"After the heroes and villains disappeared, these guys showed up. We tried fighting back, but it took everything we had just to beat one. And once the one was beaten, hundreds more showed up. There are currently people hiding out in different districts or areas. Some of us keep trying for the heroes' computer. Trying to figure out if their cameras picked up anything."
"Well now, it seems that we're in for a rather interesting trip." Beerus muttered, "I wonder if this will be anything like Goku's adventures."
"Good luck. The place is crawling with ICHPAUs. One guy tried to get in."
"What happened?"
"He was vaporized before he could explain his plan."
"This threat seems powerful." Galaxia concluded, "It appears that our partnership extends a little longer."
"Why are you interested in a rescue mission?"
"Believe it or not, Beerus, I still have a heart. And besides, this place could use some renovating. We're destroyers. Not exactly builders." She explained.
"Still though. I wonder where they could be. If we're unable to detect them, then that means they must be either in another universe… or in between universes."
"Ugh… That was… What the hell was that?" Cloud got up and rubbed his head, "Now… where on Earth… am… I?" Cloud looked around and saw the void of space. Nearly endless.
It was haunting.
"Okay, Cloud. You've obviously gone insane… again… Think. What happened to cause all this?- AUGH! Headache! Monster headache!" Cloud sat down, "Okay, figure that part out later. Now, how do I get off this asteroid? Hmm…"
