"Ugh… That was… What the hell was that?" Cloud got up and rubbed his head, "Now… where on Earth… am… I?" Cloud looked around and saw the void of space. Nearly endless.

It was haunting.

"Okay, Cloud. You've obviously gone insane… again… Think. What happened to cause all this?- AUGH! Headache! Monster headache!" Cloud sat down, "Okay, figure that part out later. Now, how do I get off this asteroid? Hmm…"

Cloud got up and started looking around. There had to be something- anything that he could use to get off of this planetoid. There had to be something. A communications array, a flare,- anything. Anything would do.

"A ship!" Cloud ran down to the crashed craft. It was in horrible condition, the life support system seemed to be only barely working, and the power supply was practically shot, but it was something.

"Good thing I picked up some stuff from Anakin and Fox. Putting this thing back together on my own would've been a pain. But still… I hope everyone else is doing alright…"

"Mother… I'm scared. What happened?"

"I don't know, Lucy." Tifa answered, "But don't worry. Mama's out there looking for answers. She'll come back. She always does."

It took some time, but eventually Yang came back to the cave that they had taken shelter in from a previous harsh storm from earlier.

"So? Any clues? Anyone that we know out there?"

"Nothing. Sorry, guys. Did find this weird shard thing though. Looked important. Like it was shouting 'protect me!' the whole time." Yang said as she pulled out said shard.

"So, you just took it? It could be cursed you know."

"No. I know curses. If this object is cursed, it's not by light or dark magic." Ganondorf chuckled, "It looks like we're teaming up again, aren't we, Mewtwo? Just like old times."

"Our stint in Melee also included Giga Bowser. Unless you're referring to the time we had to venture into the void that is the other timeline, then this team-up is not what I had wished for."

"Neither I. But we must make some sort of foothold here. As much as I loathe to admit it, some of us were also concerned about that special gate that was at the center of our planet before we ended up here."

Mewtwo's eyes widened, "The gate! It's unguarded now! The only things left to keep it protected are some minor minions and drones!"

"And with that gate unguarded, anything can flee into the omni-multiverse. They can wreak havoc on the world."

"Xenomorphs could enter the world of Jurassic Park. A Red Lantern Ring could wind up anywhere in the omni-multiverse. Or worse…"

"Yes. That threat when we defeated Thanoseid. It could breach into any world as well. Even ours. So… Partners?" Ganondorf held out his hand.

"Partners. Until we get these worlds back under control." Mewtwo shook the Gerudo King's hand.

"Ugh, this planet's weird radiation is messing with my Omnitrix. I can't! Access any alien that I didn't have from after I was ten!" Ben sneered.

"You think that's bad?- Look at Strange and Fate over there." Johnny Cage pointed out the two sorcerers. The two were in critical condition, and were barely able to move, let alone use any spells.

"Either way, my DUMB WATCH won't cooperate, and-" A blinding flash of green light enveloped the young man for a brief moment only to reveal- "I've turned into Gray Matter. This day can't possibly get worse."

"Nope. It can totally get worse." Hiei muttered as he was stuck in a flowery meadow with Twilight Sparkle, Amy Rose, and Princess Peach.

"Ohh! These are such pretty flowers!" Peach said as she gathered more for the bouquet she was making.

"I must have done something so terrible in a previous life…" Hiei muttered as the others had fun throughout their little frolicking in the meadow. Ignoring the flower crown that Peach placed on his head.

"This is by far, one of the weirder situations I've ever had." Bayonetta muttered, "Good grief, if Cloud were here, this would be far more tolerable."

"So what? We're happy." Dante said as he pointed to himself and Guts.

"Of course you are. You have each other. I'm here, all alone." She bemoaned.

"Well, we're not letting you join in." Guts deadpanned.

"W-What? I-I wasn't going to suggest that!" Bayonetta sputtered.

"Keep telling yourself that."

"Go off, you two. Hurry up. I think I saw Pit flying earlier. This forest is so dense…"

"Oh wow. Complete darkness. Like that's something to be concerned about." Toph deadpanned.

"Yeah. I've got all sorts of ways to get through the darkness. You have Night-Vision, right Batman?"

"Yep. But I also have limited power. I'm going to need to find a way to recharge it. I have enough rations to last a few months, but between the three of us, it might last two at best."

"So, we have to conserve then. Gotcha."

"Hopefully, we won't be here too long…"

"Let's not just rely on hope." Daredevil said, "We might need to find a way off ourselves."

"No one in this one either." Spider-Man said, "This is the fourth city we've checked, and there's nobody here."

"Maybe they're underground?" Felicia suggested.

"Illogical." Eggman said, "My scanners aren't picking up anything underground other than a few minerals and ores… That we can't use because we don't have a way to refine them…"

Link suggested his Mogma Mitts or shovel only to have his ideas shot down.

"Sorry man, but there's no real guarantee that those could get it out of there to begin with." Spidey pointed out, "We can set up here for the night. Hopefully, we won't be here for long…"

"Why'd you jinx it?" Eggman muttered.

"You're right. With my luck, we'll probably end up fighting some big monster or something. I'll take the first watch, the rest of you get some rest."

"Well… This feels… familiar." Miguel muttered as he and Chun-Li took cover while carrying RoboCop.

"Why?- Because of Alchemax?"

"Exactly that. Do you see any way for us to give Robocop here a quick charge? We could use him right about now."

"No. All those bots in the sky make it hard to even find cover. We're basically on our own."

"Shock… Lyla, anything on radar?"

"There seems to be a patrol unit passing by. Wait approximately 45 seconds for it to pass and you should be undetected."

"If we don't find a way to get out of this place, we're pretty much dead…"
